Headcannon

When a princess of Hyrule is born, their first name is automatically Zelda, however their middle name will be unique to them. When either a) they ascend the throne or b) there are no other living female members of the Hyrulean royal family, they will take on Zelda as their name. Otherwise they will be known by their middle name.

Some middle name headcannons (I haven’t figured out names for all of them yet):

Skyward Sword - Zelda Hyrule, since she’s the first

Ocarina of Time - Zelda Lyra Hyrule aka Sheik, since they use a lyre and bc OoT heavily features music

Wind Waker - Zelda Tetra Hyrule, nuff said (also I think her mom never got around to telling her her actual first name, which is why she doesn’t find out until in-game)

Spirit Tracks - Zelda Anima Hyrule, since “anima” means spirit in Latin (6 years of Latin coming in handy :D)

Twilight Princess - Zelda Tenebra Hyrule, since “tenebris” means darkness in Latin

Link Between Worlds - Zelda Hilda Hyrule, bc *parallels* (Hilda’s full name is Hilda Zelda Lorule coincidentally)

Hyrule Warriors - Zelda Atalanta Hyrule, after the Greek mythological figure Atalanta (because Atalanta has myths around running and in HW you run around maps a lot but also bc they’re both bad*ss)

Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom - Zelda Diantha Hyrule, since according to the Internet, “Diantha” means divine flower in Greek, which fits with her Silent Princess motif

Diantha’s Mother - Zelda Aquila Hyrule, since “aquila” means eagle in Latin, which is why she and Urbosa call Diantha “Little Bird”

10,000 years before Breath of the Wild - Zelda Mirae Hyrule, since “mirae” means future in Korean (bc obviously I’m gonna flaunt being bilingual from childhood), which goes with the futuristic Sheikah tech that originated from that time period (side note: I headcannon she’s Sonia’s granddaughter and she worked with the Sheikah to recreate Zonai tech after seeing malice beginning to leak out of dehydrated Ganondorf)

Sonia - Zelda Sonia Hyrule, self-explanatory (side note: I like to think that Hyrule fell into ruin sometime after the end of more traditional Zelda games and Sonia and Rauru reestablished the kingdom, and this new Hyrule is the one from BotW and TotK)

And OHHH just like Loads and Loads of Concern, probably.

Picture Gwen, having teamed up with Peter B and Noir and Ham to convince Miguel to recruit another member of their old gang because "Peni's literally a genius. She's Perfect for the job." Gwen hops through a portal into a dimly lit lab littered with mechanical parts and equipment that's been thrown around. There's no music, just the sound of a blowtorch sparking on and off and the clinking of metal.

She finds Peni in a stained jumpsuit, her back to her as she hunches over part of a New SP//dr suit that is Menacing in a way the old one never was. Gwen watches as Peni puts down the blowtorch and lifts up her welding mask. Peni sighs and says in a hoarse whisper, "Okay, let's see if this works."

And Spider crawls from his perch in Peni's collar and into its new cradle inside the mech. SP//dr's eyes light up Yellow, no friendly HUD with silly expressions to be seen. Piloted in the moment solely by Spider, the mech stands, towering over her like a protector. At the seeming success, Peni makes no exuberant cheer. She just looks into SP//dr's eyes and then down at the scattered blueprints written in her late father's penmanship.

A whispered, "Thank you, Father." passes her lips.

And then Gwen finally, tentatively, reveals herself. She compliments the suit. Asks Peni how she's been. Starts telling her about the Spider Society.

Peni listens silently with wide eyes for a few moments. She interrupts Gwen with a tight hug that gets even tighter when Spider uses the mechs arms to lift them Both up and spin them.

Gwen finishes explaining, gives Peni a watch, and Peni gets a heartfelt reunion with the Gang (with a notable exception). And they all can immediately tell something's Wrong and oh no Kid what Happened??

The story comes out slowly. A new coworker turned friend. A potential partner turned rogue during their first mission together. A loss of an aunt, who'd been getting better at being a parent, and of her friend, who she'd begun to see as a Best Friend. SP//dr wrecked once again at the end of it all, and a miracle blueprint found in her late father's belongings.

And the Gang looks at Peni and remembers standing like this with Miles all those months ago. They Know they can't save everyone, but it'll always Hurt and it's definitely Not Fair for any of them, especially Peni who looks small and tired but still rebuilt SP//dr and is Still Going. At least they can be there for her now.

She's definitely happier to be with her friends, and she makes New Ones, too!

Then she's back down the spiral when she learns about Canon Events, about what happened to Miguel, about Miles' status as an Anomaly. A gloom that falls over her and obsesses over Fixing It.

The Gang can't do much other than be there, make sure she eats, talk to her even when she's not entirely listening. Offer hugs when it all gets to feeling like Too Much. And then just trust that she'll get it eventually. She'll understand why it has to be this way. (It doesn't.)

Harpy Tweek / Mer Craig Au Fact Dump !!!!

Tweeks design is based on a Goldfinch

Craig's design is a cross between a Whale Shark and a Lionfish

Harpies and Merfolk are natural enemies

Craig and Tweek met for the first time when they were children- during a particularly windy day Tweek fell into the ocean and Craig reluctantly saved him

Tweek was somehow attached to him and hated him at the same time

Harpies don't like accepting favours because it means being indebted to someone, and 80% of harpies are solitary creatures (hence Tweeks dislike for Craig)

Craig finds him really annoying at first but also really interesting- he mainly hangs out with him at first as a small way to spite his parents (he was going through a rebellious phase)

Tweek returns Craig's "favour" by gifting him his hat (Craig mentioned on one occassion that he always wondered what it'd be like to wear the things that humans do on their heads)

Despite no longer being indebted to him, Tweek continued to stick around

Tweek, Butters and Pip are part of a flock together

Butters is based on an Australian Magpie and Pip is based on a Robin

Pip is engaged to Damian, who is a Harpy based on a Vampire Bat

Kenny and Clyde are Craig's friends, and are part of his Coven (←Name for a group of Merfolk)

Kenny is based off of a Glass Octopus and Clyde is based off a Koi Fish

Tweek and friends are a lot closer to eachother than Craig and his friends; Tweeks flock is basically his family

Harpies leave the nest at a very young age, whereas most Merfolk will stay in a coven their whole lives

I'm still slowly building this au, but this is all the info I have for now !! I might add more characters as the story progresses (or if I get random ideas on who'd be what) but for now this is it! If you have any questions abt this au feel free to send me an ask !! :D

Things I want to see in the endgame:

Star and Stripe's quirk being used at least once (probably on Deku).

Class 1A helping in the fight against AFO/Shigaraki (preferably by using/transferring OFA to each other).

Deku being controlled/possessed by AFO (likely after Shigaraki is saved or through Shigaraki)

Class 1A fighting and trying to bring Deku back to himself.

Ochako, Toga, Shigaraki, Bakugo, Dabi, Shoto joining in to try to save Deku/fight AFO together.

Ochako having the chance to convey her real feelings to Deku (during or after the fight).

Bakugo doing the actual saving of Deku and holding his hand when he does it.

Deku losing OFA in the process/aftermath of his fight (but preferably doing one save quirkless).
