to anyone who draws and experiences wrist pain like I do i. I figured out the blindspot to solving the pain. maybe this is obvious but whatever. im honestly I'm frustrated at myself for not knowing sooner bcs I was an athlete for so long. but what always confused and frustrated me was that no matter how much i stretched the pain wasnt going away
people always linked n shared resources to stretches and it'd give me temporary relief but not deal with the issue especially not any longer than the time it took me to stretch.
u do have to stretch. but u ALSO HAVE TO WORK OUT YOUR ARMS.
the reason we are hurting so much is because that muscle is doing a lot of repetitive and strenuous motion but the whole length of your arms and wrists aren't strong enough to withstand that much work.
u cant just stretch. buy a set of light-ish weights and just pick a set of wrist and arm workouts u like. do them often. stretch and do those work outs. i really dont even think it matters which you do I do a combination of this and this
just pick ones u like that are good for you, working out can be fun and not miserable i promise. do it. save ur wrists. my life has changed, i still feel pain but ive been able to work and not be ready to cry the next day from daring to try

Sometimes, I'm sad about the hobbies I have abandoned or have been too intimidated to pick up. But... what good is it, to just beat myself up over that? My bass is sitting in the corner, patiently waiting, and so is everything else. My life isn't over, and I've got nothing to answer to. I'm wading through a sea of time, and I'll pick up the seashells that interest me, and it's okay to put one back in the sand. The current's waves will bring it back to me if that is to be destiny. I can not hate myself into productivity, so I must swim on.
I think the same can apply to anybody. It's okay if you have dropped something, such as a hobby or passion. Human beings are like that sometimes, it isn't reasonable for you to beat yourself into submission. You, too, can not hate yourself into being a well-rounded person. You must cultivate it like you would a garden - with patience, time, and care.

Workout routine
gonna try to burn 30lbs by October and this is what i'm gonna try to do everyday (if you have any other tips for losing pls tell>)
Legs: Side leg raises both sides until i cant anymore, side clam leg both sides until i cant, side single leg push until i cant both sides, inner thigh lifts both sides until i cant, repeat all of those twice
abs: 50 sit ups, 100 crunches, 15 reverse crunches, 50 russian twist x2, 30 leg raises, 10 leg circles each side, 50 raised leg sit up
arms: arm circles both way until quit, 25 tricep extensions (back and forth, so 50 total), 20 cobra push up, 30 tricep dips, 15 overhead tricep extension
total: 90min
Myfitnesspal says this all burns around 500 cals but if this is wrong pls lmk
Edit: Many has said this is more strength trainings and this won't burn that much cals, around 1-200cals, so mfp is wrong. Also i do around 2hrs of intense swim a day so that also adds to the count.

It’s never overstated to me when people are like “work out bc it makes you feel better” bc it literally does. I think what I used to get hung up on is making the perfect schedule / wanting to know what I was doing right away. But it’s also okay to flounder at first and experiment w things and figure out what works for you and your body. The important thing is you’re starting out bc your body really will thank you for it later down the line. You cannot keep pushing it off it will add up
