almost ?SMUT. MINORS STILL DNI 18+. everybody put your hands together for drug dealer chris!
Chris wasn’t a fan of doing anyone favors.
He enjoyed it in the beginning, befriending anyone he could to buy and sell product. Doing favors, asking favors. Establishing a long term fruitful relationship of trust. It was fun, his circle now so tight knit he couldn’t see past it.
What he didn’t enjoy, was his two brothers at his doorstep asking him for what he considered to be a massive favor. He had known about your existence for a while, purposefully ignoring you. After all, you were just another girl that Matt was probably fucking. Chris couldn’t help but wonder if he was wrong, both Nick and Matt acting like you were the most important person on the planet.
“So you see when he broke up with her she got super fuckin sad-”
“And usually we’ve made every effort to keep an eye on her-”
“But there’s a party tonight and we’re afraid she might wonder off and hookup with a sleezebag she might regret-”
“So we were just wondering if you could help us keep an eye on her since you um-” Nicks eyes briefly flickered into Chris’s room. “You know, sell at these kinds of things.”
Chris rolled his eyes. He never understood this kind of attachment, whether it was platonic or something more. “Ight fine, if she comes my way i’ll check on her.”
Chris didn’t need these parties, quite frankly. He sold enough cocaine to the bitches with rich daddy’s in beverly hills to where he didn’t even need to consider being here. But abandoning his original client base wasn’t honest, especially when the consumers hunger palette was diverse. He kept cocaine away from these parties, his display full of the usual pill bottles with weed and different party drugs.
He knew the owner of this house well, his set up upstairs in the attic. It was quiet enough to where it wouldn’t be discovered if you weren’t looking for it. A small brown table sat in front of the coffee he was sprawling across, a joint hanging from his lips. He decided to take his time weighing and separating the rest of the weed, nothing else better happening anyways. Chris knew not being honest with his brothers was wrong, but he didn’t feel any remorse.
The further your goody two shoe’s ass stayed away from him the better.
The night was going by smoothly for Chris, his usual customers eager to drop in and buy whatever they wanted. He had completely forgotten about you, until he heard a set of heels coming upstairs. Chris knew this meant one of two things. Either a girl was coming to buy, most likely offering head as payment or someone was lost. His blue eyes flickered up to the staircase, a very unsteady you appearing through the smoky haze.
Your eyes met his, an electric shock going down Chris’s spine. “Oh shit, you’re Chris aren’t you?” You asked, offering him a small smile. Chris removed the joint from his lips, kashing it out on the table. “Depends on who’s asking,” He replied, his face smug. You ignored his smugness walking over to him. You extended your hand for a handshake. “I’m y/n, i’m friends with Matt and Nick. You guys uh, kinda share the same face,” You say. Chris eyed you carefully. “So you’re the sad girl,” He hummed. You seemed completely harmless and if anything, absolutely adorable. Chris met your hand, giving you a firm handshake. “I would introduce myself but you already know who I am,” He huffed, resuming weighing the weed in his other hand.
Your gaze wondered over to his product table, one of his eyebrows raising. “You interested in buying kid?” He asked. You were soaking in the entirety of the table, examining every little thing. You swallowed, nodding. “Yeah, i’ll take some molly,” You say, reaching into your skirt for some cash. Chris audibly scoffed. “The fuck you will,” He spat. Your eyebrows furrowed, staring down at him. His legs were spread, his gaze now falling onto that pretty face of yours. “What’s that supposed to mean?” You asked, crossing your arms.
Chris chuckled. “You’ve never touched a joint in your life. I’m not selling you pills because you’re going through some shit,” He said harshly. Your face fell, your defensive stance changing into one of embarrassment. Chris was a harsh person, his words stinging more than he usual meant for them to. “Sorry kid, I won’t let you hurt yourself,” Chris apologized quietly. Your eyes were glazed with sadness, the kind Chris was all too familiar with. He cleared his throat, grabbing a freshly rolled joint from his product table. He held it up to you. “I’ll let you smoke this, as long as you let me teach you how to inhale properly,” Chris offered, giving you a small smile.
“How much?” You asked, reaching into your skirt for your wadded up twenties. Chris held up one hand, signaling for you to stop. “I’ll cover it, first joints are rare and your case, free,” He said, holding the joint up to show you. Your face lit up like a christmas tree, your heels clicking as you joined him on the couch. Chris brought the joint to his lips, grabbing a lighter from his jeans pocket. Your beautiful eyes were filled with curiosity and wonder, watching as he sparked the lighter. The flame ignited the joint, Chris’s lungs inhaling and soaking in the high. He exhaled through his nose, handing you the joint. “Alright kid, take it slow. Just inhale,” Chris guided, watching you slowly put the joint to your lips.
You were so cute and innocent, Chris finding himself softly chuckling as you inhaled. You immediately coughed, Chris digging in his backpack and handing you a water bottle. The gesture was sweeter than he meant it to be, your eyes watering as you grabbed the plastic bottle from him. He watched you gulp the water, the joint sitting between your fingertips. The kash was about to fall on your bare knee, Chris’s hand quickly falling on yours to grab the joint. “Shit kid don’t burn yourself,” Chris murmured, another electric shock flying down his spine as his hand brushed against yours.
Chris had hoped you hadn’t noticed the subtle heat rushing to his cheeks. Or his reaction to the comforting warmth of your hand. Thankfully you were too occupied in chugging your water, your throat engulfed in unfamiliar flames. You set the bottle of water down, giggling as you looked over at Chris. Your eyes were full of determination, a mischievous smile creeping up your lips.
“Can I try again?”
Chris had to admit you were cute, trying to inhale the joint the way he was instructing you to. It was refreshing being around a girl who wasn’t trying to impress him or get something from him. A girl who wasn’t from his side of the street. It felt like no time had passed when you had finally learned how to properly inhale. “There you go kid. You’ll be able to ghost in no time i’m sure,” Chris said, patting your knee. You exhaled the smoke, passing the joint back to Chris.
He watched goosebumps spread across your skin, his eyebrows furrowing. You were in something awfully skimpy, a black leather skirt and a matching top that made your breast stick out. Chris concluded this outfit wasn’t yours, surely. “Are you cold?” He asked suddenly. You were about to question him, the brunette answering the question for you. He shrugged off his gray jacket, handing it to you. “Put it on. I don’t wanna hear it from my brothers if you get sick,” He said, making an excuse to make sure you were warm. You also looked painfully cute in his jacket.
Your eyes trailed over his chest in his white wife beater as you shrugged the jacket on. It reeked of weed and cologne, a mixture you were beginning to love. “Thank you,” You say quietly. It was oversized on you, the cool air seemingly unnerving Chris. The silence that ensued was comforting, a compliment fixing to spill from his lips. Instead he stopped himself, not wanting to get too attached to you. “So, bad break up huh?” Chris asked, trying to change the topic.
You shrugged, tossing the hood of the jacket over your head. “Yeah I guess you could say that,” You replied. Chris leaned back against the couch, raising an eyebrow. “So, you wanna tell me what happened or do you wanna talk about something else?” Chris asked. He could practically see the debate forming in your head. He could only imagine how you were feeling, sadness mixed in with a newly found high. Shit, he was a bad influence on you. “I’d rather talk about something else. I’m trying to forget about him more than anything,” You say. Your eyes met his, the whites of your eyes glazed over with a familiar reddish pink.
“Or we could, you know, do something else,” You say shyly. Chris felt his heart skip a beat, that familiar electrical feeling ensuing again. This weed wasn’t laced right? He had been in much more lewd situations. Chris had been around the block more than once. Your suggestive words were making him feel like a preteen. “Nuh uh. Nope. I don’t take virginities kid,” Chris declined. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to, not by any means. But you were too precious, too pure for him to ruin. To bring into his world of chaos. “Who said I was asking you to?” You questioned. Chris sighed, his eyes flickering down to your thighs.
“Probably the way you’ve been rubbing your thighs together for the past five minutes,” He replied. There was a pregnant pause of silence, Chris’s mouth suddenly running dry. Why did you make him feel this way? “Well maybe we could, I don’t know, fool around instead,” You suggested. Chris raised his eyebrows. “Fool around?” He questioned. He knew exactly what you meant, but he relished in the sight of your face turning pink. “You know what I mean,” You reply shyly. Chris shook his head, noticing the party was dying down. The music was being turned down, the sound of chatter decreasing.
“I don’t think I do. What are you talking about kid?” He asked you. Your face turned a deeper shade of red, the sight enough to make Chris’s cock throb. “Like uh. Fingering and head and stuff,” You answer awkwardly. Chris licked his bottom lip. Damn, Matt has to be stupid if he hasn’t noticed how adorable you are. Chris chuckled. “And head and stuff?” He laughed. You playfully shoved his arm. “Dont make fun of me i’m in college and haven’t done anything beyond making out,” You admitted. You had unintentionally brought yourself closer to him, your bodies only an inch apart.
The tension in the room was increasing quickly, Chris’s eyes flickering over to yours. “And you wanna change that? With a guy you just met?” Chris asked, skeptical. He tilted his head to the side, grabbing a blunt off of the table. “Never would’ve taken you for a horny little thing once you smoke a bit,” Chris teased. You rolled your eyes. “I technically have just met you but i’ve known about you forever,” You replied defensively. Chris ignited the blunt, watching the orange grow as he inhaled. “Cmere, wanna try something with you,” Chris murmured. He couldn’t give in, he wouldn’t give in.
He wouldn’t corrupt you. Not yet. You were too innocent. Too pretty. “Put this to your lips and inhale. Just stay very still for me,” Chris hummed. He guided the blunt to your lips, your doe eyes meeting his. He placed his lips over the other end, both of you inhaling at the same time. Chris couldn’t help but hold your gaze, admiring you. He had shotgunned a blunt with endless people, yet it felt so different with you. So intimate. His lungs demanded for him to pull away, so he did. He exhaled and watched you do the same, coughing as you smiled at him. “That was so hot, holy shit,” You laughed, tears flooding your waterline.
Chris leaned forward, wiping away a salty tear that was beginning to form. The pad of his thumb was gentle across your skin, your cheeks flushing red again. You were so easy to get riled up, so flustered. You leaned forward, placing the blunt on a rolling tray. Your lips were an inch from Chris’s your body yearning for his. “I meant it kid. I won’t fuck you,” Chris huffed, his hand not straying from your cheek. You swallowed, a boys set of lips never looking more appealing. “You don’t have to, just kiss me,” You said. Your eyes flickered to his briefly, before looking back down at his lips. You then added, “Please.”
Chris didn’t consider himself a weak man, but you made him one, He pressed his lips to yours, soaking in the faint taste of mint and weed. You met his lips eagerly, his tongue brushing against your bottom lip. He couldn’t help but want to deepen it, but feel you more. You allowed him in, grinning as he slipped his tongue into your mouth. He was intoxicating, the room suddenly feeling a million degrees. Chris’s hands fell to your waist, your arms wrapping themselves around his neck.
He pulled you onto his lap, your thighs straddling him. “You a good kisser for a virgin,” Chris teased, before grabbing the back of your neck to guide your lips back to his. You giggled as you shoved his chest, lowering your hips against his. The rest of the party seemed to disappear, the only thing existing in this life being you. You giggled as you hovered above him, your gorgeous thighs straddling him. Chris bucked his hips upwards, relishing in the sound of a soft groan escaping your lips. “Thought you weren’t gonna fuck me,” You questioned, raising an eyebrow.
Did you have any idea how addicting you were? “I’m not and I won’t, doesn’t mean I won’t tease you though,” Chris replied, kissing down the side of your face to your neck. His hands slithered back down to your waist, teasingly gripping the flesh. You felt like your body was on fire, Chris the only remedy for what you needed. “Chris,” You whimpered, his lips attaching themselves to your sweet spot. He would make sure not to leave a hickey that was too dark. He briefly pulled away, hovering over the purple skin. “Hmm? Need something?” He hummed. You grabbed a handful of his hair, yanking him back to look at you.
Your assertiveness caused by desperation made his cock throb. “Please touch me. I’ll repay you. Just, please,” You begged. You were so pretty, begging above him like this. You grinded your waist down onto his hard cock, biting your lower lip. Chris flipped you both around, your back hitting the back of the couch as he kneeled before you. “You’re that desperate huh? Want me to make you feel good?” Chris asked. You were practically trembling, his lips peppering kisses on your thighs. “Are you sure about this kid? You’re shaking and I haven’t even touched you yet,” Chris questioned, his voice laced with concern.
“I’m sure, please,” You whimpered. Chris slowly pulled up your skirt, placing teasingly slow kisses on the inside of your thighs. He hovered over your clothed cunt, pressing a kiss onto your panties. He could feel how soaked you were for him. The feeling alone made his cock throb in his jeans. Fucking hell.
“Yo Chris! You up here?”
The sound of Matt’s voice made your eyes go wide, Chris quick to react. He quickly pulled himself onto the couch, pulling down your skirt. He zipped up his jacket, covering your skimpy outfit and flusteredness. Two sets of footsteps were approaching quickly, whom he could only assume to be Matt and Nick. He tried to act nonchalant, leaning forward to cover his obvious and aching boner. By the time they reached the top of the stairs you thought your heart was going to fail.
“Oh hey I see you found Chris, looks just like us doesn’t he?” Matt asked, smiling as he plopped down on the couch beside you. He threw his arm around your shoulders, your eyes flickering to Chris’s. You were a flustered mess and he hadn’t even had a chance to taste you. “Oh for fuck sake Christopher don’t tell us you sold to her,” Nick huffed. He frowned disapprovingly as Chris began to pack up, shoving his products in his backpack. “I’d never sell to her, I have morals contrary to popular belief,” Chris argued, rolling his eyes. He noticed Matt’s arm around you, but he tried his hardest to pretend he didn’t.
“I better get going, got a meeting early tomorrow,” Chris huffed. Truthfully he didn’t feel like playing pretend around his brothers nor did he feel like hiding his aching boner. He shrugged his backpack over his shoulders, heading downstairs without so much as giving you a second glance. He didn’t want to, but he also didn’t want his brothers to embarrass him in front of you. He reached his ride outside, starting to slide into the backseat.
It wasn’t until he felt a hand grab his backpack that he turned around. He tried his hardest to hide his smile filled with relief. You followed him. “Do you um want your jacket back?” You asked shyly. Chris gave you a warm smile. “Nah kid, consider it yours,” He said. He stood in front of you, his friends yapping away in the front seats to each other. “Chris about what just happened in there I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable-” You began rambling. Chris pulled the hood of the jacket off of your head, brushing some stray hairs behind your ears.
“You’ve got it all wrong kid. The very last thing you did was make me uncomfortable. I wanna see you again, away from my dumbass brothers,” Chris told you, cutting off the sound of your sweet voice. He allowed himself to lean forward, his lips dying to meet yours. “Let me pick you up tomorrow. Take you on an actual date. Wine and dine you,” Chris said. You found yourself leaning closer to him, the urge to press your lips against his. “I’d like that,” You replied softly.
“I’ll slide through tomorrow, round five. I got some shit to take care of before I come by,” Chris said. Behind you he could see Matt and Nick waving goodbye to some friends, about to walk onto the front porch. Chris pressed a soft kiss to your forehead, dipping into the car before his brothers could see him. He rolled down his window, holding up his pinky.
“I promise i’ll slide through tomorrow.”
You had a decision to make, whether or not to trust a drug dealer you had just met. You smiled as you wrapped your pinky around his, giving him your trust.
“Good, i’ll be waiting.”
a/n: this is my first time dropping a fic without smut lmaooo. didn’t feel right w chris being all mysterious drug dealer core 🕵🏻‍♀️.

Every so often, Eddie will get the bus to Starcourt Mall (because what else is there to do?) and watch the world go by.
It’s not like he’s above a cliché or two—maybe he wants to indulge in being a lone figure within the crowd. Maybe he just feels like wallowing in the aimlessness of it all, damn it.
This is where Wayne would point out that Eddie is exactly the opposite of aimless, what with how he’d stormed into the trailer last month, failed test results in hand and snarled, “Next year. I’ll fuckin’ show ‘em.”
But there’s a long time between now and the new school year starting, the summer stretching out before him like taffy. He’d tried to start his reading list early again, but that’s never done him much good; this time he’d gotten through one chapter of Moby-fucking-Dick before despairing.
So. People-watching at the mall it is.
It’s surprisingly not all that terrible an activity, apart from discovering which teachers are suddenly very passionate about jazzercise—a sight Eddie could’ve blissfully lived the rest of his life without seeing.
There’s also the confirmation that the Starcourt commercial he saw was not a vivid hallucination—that Scoops Ahoy is, in fact, real.
And so are the ridiculous sailor outfits.
Well, I’ll be damned, Eddie thinks.
Robin Buckley and Steve Harrington are an incredibly unlikely duo. It’s like the universe abandoned all sense, spun a wheel and paired them up just for the fun of it.
When he joins the line for ice-cream, Eddie initially thinks he’ll find the whole thing laughable: seeing people forced to work together when usually the laws of the universe (and Hawkins High) would keep them as far apart as possible.
But then he discovers that the ice-cream parlor is packed, one hell of a bottleneck forming right up at the counter, where folks are waiting for a seemingly never-ending amount of floats to be poured.
It takes a while for Eddie to near the front of the line; enough time passes that he honestly feels kind of bad for even taking up a spot, for adding to the workload that has Robin shouting herself hoarse with every, “Next please!”
He strongly considers just leaving, but he hesitates for a moment too long, and unintentionally meets eyes with…
“Hi,” Steve says, pleasantly enough, if a little distracted as he prods at the soda machine. He smiles apologetically. Be with you in a sec.”
Eddie almost wants to tell him you know it’s me, right? He doesn’t.
It’s not that he expects Steve to be mean, exactly; it’s just that he’s getting more than familiar with the whole post graduation routine. It’s like there’s a secret page in folks’ yearbooks, instructing them to look at anyone still attached to high school with either indifference or embarrassment—or both.
Steve must not have got the memo.
“Next!”
Robin beckons Eddie forward with a sweeping arm gesture, looks somewhere behind him and sighs in relief, puffing out her cheeks.
“Oh, thank God. You stopped the tide.”
Eddie glances over his shoulder; sure enough, he’s the last person left to order.
“Don’t think I’ve got that power, Buckley.”
Robin raises an eyebrow. “Debatable.”
Eddie almost laughs. There was a rumour in his first attempt at senior year that he could curse people: it only came about because he ominously whispered some Pig Latin he’d once overheard Robin herself use during History, and Molly Pritchard crossed herself in horror.
“I’ll have a vanilla cup.”
“Ooh,” Robin says dryly, “adventurous.”
“Nothing wrong with a classic,” Eddie says.
Robin smirks as she rings him up. They don’t know each other that well, but there’s admittedly something nice in the distant familiarity they share; at the very least, she’s not gonna add to any potential awfulness when school starts again.
While Robin hands over his change, Steve is filling up a cup—Eddie would say he’s uncharacteristically quiet, except for the fact that he doesn’t actually know what truly is characteristic of Steve Harrington.
Plus he’s stuck on the fact that he only paid for one scoop, but the amount of ice-cream Steve manages to cram in is almost double that.
And he does this ridiculous little twirly thing with the scooper before he even reaches for the tray of vanilla.
Eddie tells himself he notices just because the move is so stupid; it’s definitely not because he’s noticing Steve’s hands in general. It’s just… eyes get drawn to movement. That’s all.
“Syrup?” Steve asks, nodding his head at the dispensers.
“Sure,” Eddie says. “Strawberry.”
Steve wrinkles his nose. “Oh, don’t do that, man. Get it with butterscotch.”
Robin’s eyes rise to the heavens, as if some longstanding argument has begun once again.
“And why should I do that, Harrington?” Eddie says.
“Because,” Steve says, like he’s patiently explaining that two plus two equals four, “butterscotch is better. Obviously.”
“Obviously,” Robin parrots mockingly. She closes the register drawer and says, “I’m taking my break, Popeye. Try not to judge the customers too hard.”
Eddie’s pretty sure he hears Steve mutter under his breath as she leaves, “Seriously? You’re worse than me.”
His cup of ice-cream is under hostage, apparently. Steve still hasn’t pressed down on the damn syrup pump.
“This your usual sales technique?” Eddie says. “Browbeating the customers?”
“Only the lucky ones,” Steve returns mildly.
Eddie scoffs. “Fine. Gimme the damn butterscotch then.”
“Knew you’d come to your senses,” Steve says.
He hands the cup over without any more quips; just as he’s done with the syrup, a large family swoops in with multiple sundae orders.
Eddie eats the ice-cream while waiting for the bus back home. He grudgingly has to admit that the butterscotch isn’t bad.
But that’s not really what’s bugging him.
He has to know if it’s a fluke—if maybe, just maybe, Steve Harrington only deigned to talk to him because he was, like… delirious or something. Maybe the flood of demanding customers scrambled his brain.
Of course, when Eddie goes back to the mall, it’s purely to test his theory. Strictly observational—educational, even. Like… summer school. (Take that, O’Donnell.)
The bus drops them off a little bit before the mall actually opens, but they’re allowed inside anyway. Eddie inwardly cringes at the sight of grown adults tapping persistently on the windows of still closed stores. Jesus Christ, they’re worse than zombies.
Scoops Ahoy isn’t open yet either; Eddie’s soon witness to a very stressed looking Steve striding over to unlock the place.
He flits in and out of view for a while, taking mops round to the back, filling up the jars of toppings.
Eddie actually considers heading over to Waldenbooks to check if it’s open (it’s not like he’s coming here for one store in particular, obviously), but then he hears metal clacking against the tiles.
When he looks back at Scoops Ahoy, he spots a set of keys on the ground right at the entrance, Steve nowhere in sight.
Goddamn it. He’s gonna have to be a Good Samaritan. Ugh.
Eddie briefly looks up to the ceiling as if he can condemn the ways of the universe from here. Then he sighs, picks up the keys and steps into the store.
“Harrington, you dropped these—”
“Shit,” comes Steve’s voice from the back, followed by an almighty clatter.
Eddie hesitates before his curiosity inevitably wins out.
He goes behind the register, through the door and finds the aftermath of complete disaster: Steve standing in front of an entire vat of ice-cream that’s been dropped onto the floor. It’s splattered all up his legs, cookies and cream clinging to the hairs.
Holy shit, stop thinking about his leg hair, Eddie thinks.
Up until this point in time, he’d believed it was physically impossible to look anything other than comical in that stupid sailor outfit.
(Well. Almost.)
But right now Steve looks absolutely tragic. Like he’s a crew member on the Titanic levels of tragic, and he’s about to deliver the news that there’s simply no more lifeboats.
Steve meets Eddie’s gaze.
“That was limited edition,” he says pitifully.
They both look down at the floor.
“Well,” Eddie says. “It definitely is now. Still, uh, what’s the phrase? No use crying over spilled… ice-cream.”
“Oh, I’m not gonna cry over it,” Steve says. “I’m gonna scream.” For a moment he looks murderous. “Robin’s not coming in.”
“Is she sick?”
Steve snorts. “Sick my ass. No, she’s keeping The Hawk in business—gonna see a movie about an ice-cream parlor, something like that.”
“An ice-cream parlor,” Eddie echoes. “Um. Are you sure she didn’t just make it up?”
Steve shakes his head. “No, it’s one of those foreign—never mind.”
He cuts himself off, lifts up one foot, as if he’s become aware of his predicament all over again.
“I was fine with her ditching, she can do whatever; it’s not like we have managers checking up on us. But I forgot a huge delivery was coming, and it’s Saturday so it’s gonna be crazy, so I’m not gonna have time to put all of it in the freezer or check the stock chart, so it’s all just gonna become fucking soup, Jesus, maybe I should just throw everything on the floor and—”
“I could help,” Eddie interrupts, because apparently a little alien has burrowed into his brain and now he just says things.
Steve stares at him. “Why would you do that?”
“Yeah, uh, sorry,” Eddie says. He wishes his brain-invading alien an immediate death. “Bad idea, just—”
“No, I mean why would you do that? Dude, it’s not like I can pay you or—”
“I don’t really have plans,” Eddie says—oh great, the alien hasn’t died! “Uh, you can pay me with, like, a name tag?” What? Stop talking. “Like a souvenir?” Stop! “Oh sorry,” Steve says, as if on automatic pilot. He pulls at his shirt. “We don’t have—our names are stitched on.”
I was kidding about the name tag. Actually, maybe you should just murder me instead.
By some miracle, Eddie’s expression must somehow still look fairly normal because Steve continues, deadly serious, “Munson. Are you sure?”
This is the time to back out—
“Yeah,” Eddie says. “Look, man, it’s no big deal. I can clean this up and—”
A bell starts ringing from the front, being struck over and over again in the most obnoxious way possible.
Something in Steve’s eyes flickers, a shift from panic into planning mode, and Eddie has the sudden bizarre feeling that this is what the basketball team saw whenever a crisis timeout was called.
“You sure you’re okay if I leave you back here?” Steve asks, and the gravity with which he says it threatens to send Eddie into hysterics—Christ, you’d think they were in the goddamn trenches.
“Think I’ll survive,” Eddie says. “I’m basically cleaning up, and putting everything into the freezer?”
Steve nods. “And, um, a stock check too, if that’s okay? There’s a chart pinned up, you just gotta count the flavours and put, like, tally marks next to—”
“Oh my God, not tally marks,” Eddie drawls. “The horror.”
Steve huffs. “I was just—”
The bell rings even more insistently.
“Uh, think you’re needed on the front line,” Eddie says.
He nearly chokes on his own spit when Steve turns to just march right on out there.
“Harrington, wait! Your—your legs,” he says weakly.
Steve has the audacity to look puzzled. “What about them?”
They’re very long.
Eddie gestures silently to the ice-cream on the floor, then attempts a vague hovering motion in the direction of Steve’s legs.
Steve’s eyes go wide in realisation. His cheeks turn slightly red. “Oh! Yeah, um, thanks. Um. I’ll just…”
He disappears into the world’s tiniest restroom, comes back free of cookies and cream before heading out to the front.
Well, Eddie thinks to the mop he finds, this is definitely a situation.
It’s not the worst way he’s spent a few hours, apart from having to listen to a Sailor’s Hornpipe on loop through the speakers (he briefly wonders how Robin and Steve stay sane). He cleans up, gets the rest of the delivery into the freezer, even jots down some tally marks, wonder of wonders.
Steve will occasionally slide back the shutters and pop his head in, passing over a soda.
“Employee perks,” he says, then has to hurriedly retreat to keep serving.
Eddie keeps waiting for the stiltedness to set in, but it seems Steve’s far too busy for there to be any awkwardness.
At midday the shutter slides back again and Steve says, “Hey, can you do me one last thing, and I’ll never ask you for anything ever again, I swear.”
“Harrington, you’ve technically never asked me for anything. Gimme the mission.”
Turns out the mission is just to use some employee only coupons at Burger King so Steve can take his lunch.
Eddie returns to Scoops Ahoy with two burgers to find that Steve’s strategically placed a pile of chairs and wet floor signs at the threshold to deter people from entering.
There’s also a hand-drawn sign on top of one of the chairs: Out for Lunch. Underneath, there’s a horrendously bad drawing of a ship on choppy waves.
Eddie tries very hard to not find it endearing.
He gives Steve a burger, hops onto the table in the back and starts eating his own.
A quarter of the way through, he realises that he could leave now—he’s done everything Steve’s asked, and Steve’s already said he can manage the remaining shift on his own now that the delivery’s been put away.
Huh. Well, he’s already gone to all the effort of sitting here…
Steve’s quiet for most of his lunch. Eddie doesn’t mind; he enjoys his free food, comes up with a half-baked campaign idea before discarding it, counts every tile in the room…
Looks over.
Steve’s sat with one leg hunched up to his chest, a book resting on his knee—the cover’s folded over the back as he reads, the spine broken. Eddie doesn’t know why on earth it’s attractive, but it is; he feels like some mooning middle schooler, entranced by the way their stupid crush eats spaghetti or some bullshit like that.
But then again, there’s always been an easy grace to Steve Harrington.
A beeping noise; Steve checks his wristwatch with a sigh.
“Ugh.”
He leaves the book on the table, at just the right angle for Eddie to read the title: Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
“Is it good?”
“Hmm? Oh. Yeah, I’m only a couple chapters in, so…” Steve shrugs. “Honestly, it’s the most I’ve read since starting high school.”
And Eddie gets that: the senior years he’s suffered through have left him each time with a brain like a wrung out sponge, not even having the energy for Tolkien.
God. At this rate he’s never gonna read for fun ever again.
His face must do something because Steve opens and closes his mouth a few times before saying, a little hesitant, “Hey, I’m sorry you never, uh… made it through, y’know? You—you were so close, man.” Eddie doesn’t bother wasting time on being pissed that Steve knows some of the details: ‘test results’ and ‘confidentiality’ don’t exactly go together in Hawkins High.
“Yeah, uh. Thanks. Here’s hoping third time’s the charm.”
Steve claps his shoulder. “You’ll do it, it was just tough this year. Like, I scraped through, trust me.”
Eddie snorts—he would literally kill to have a handful of Steve’s grades.
“Think my definition of ‘scraped through’ is different to yours.”
He helps Steve disassemble the mountain of chairs, and now it really is obvious that he could just leave; he only has to take a few steps, and then he’s out of there.
But he pauses.
The store is still empty.
Eddie shuffles back from the doorway. “Ice-cream for the road?”
Steve laughs. “Sure. Least I can do.”
He doesn’t ask Eddie what he wants, just serves a vanilla cup with butterscotch syrup.
Eddie suddenly feels himself fighting a smile. “Think you’ve got an agenda, man.”
“Nope. Just giving you the superior choice, Munson.”
Then Steve picks up an empty cup and pours more butterscotch into it, nothing else. He knocks it back like a shot. “Gross,” Eddie says.
Steve flashes him a syrup-streaked grin.
It’s so… juvenile.
If it wasn’t for the fact that they’re in a mall, Eddie would almost think that he’d gone back a few years, made an unexpected temporary friend that goofed off with him in the back of the class.
He finishes his ice-cream as more people flock to the counter; in what seems like no time at all, Steve’s ushering Eddie out, pulling down the security grille.
It feels a bit like a soap bubble has burst. Like the bell’s unexpectedly rung at the end of last period, in a class he was actually enjoying, against all odds.
Steve does say, quite sincerely, “Thanks, Munson. You didn’t have to… you really saved my ass.”
Eddie’s about to clumsily work his way through some reply about how it was nothing, but then they really do have to go, because some stern-faced security guard’s staring like he might vaporise them.
It’s just one day, Eddie thinks. A… what’s-it-called. An anomaly.
But he goes back to the mall the next afternoon. He doesn’t bother to make up an excuse even in his own head.
Scoops Ahoy is somehow even more packed this time—Steve’s serving up samples while Robin’s back at the register, and when she sees Eddie coming, she points at the vanilla, mouths, “The classic?”
He chuckles, nods. “How was your movie, Buckley?”
“No idea what you’re talking about,” she says serenely. “I was very sick.” She coughs delicately.
“Praying for your miraculous recovery.”
He gets vanilla with butterscotch syrup (just because Robin’s the closest to that particular dispenser, that’s all).
It’s so busy that once Robin’s finished at the register, she starts filling orders alongside Steve. When Eddie picks up his cup, they barely look at him, surrounded by other cups and plastic bowls laid out for ice-cream.
Figures. Eddie knows it’s not personal. Just. Soap bubble’s burst, and all that.
He’s almost out the store when he hears a whistle.
“Hey, Munson! Go long!”
“Fuck off, no,” Eddie says automatically, a response drilled into him from many a compulsory Phys Ed class.
But he turns, just in time to see Steve throw something at him. He catches it—it’s plastic, round—somehow manages to keep a hold of his ice-cream, too.
Steve gives a brief thumbs up, before he’s back to scooping. He still finds time to do that stupid twirl move again.
Once outside, Eddie opens up his hand. Snorts.
It’s a shitty white badge, chipped in several places. His name’s scrawled on it in red marker, a cartoony anchor in the upper right corner.
On the bus home, Eddie mulls over the thought of flicking through a couple chapters of The Hobbit, something like that. No pressure, no notes—no imagining the year ahead, a teacher looming over his shoulder. Just for fun.
There’s plenty of time.
He puts his souvenir in his pocket, takes another spoonful of ice-cream.
And he has to admit that butterscotch is pretty damn good.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was a pretty nice and warm day in their apartment, they were playing on the floor with your two year old girl Mollie, helping her to build a tower with a bunch of colorful blocks. Sunlight streams trough the windows, creating dappled patterns on the carpet.
"Oh, Mollie, you little rascal! Daddy and I were almost finished!" You giggled as Mollie knocks over the tower with a gleeful squeal.
"Don't worry, amore mio, we can always build another one... Maybe even taller this time!" He said as he scoops Mollie up in a playful hug, tickling her belly.
"More! More!" Mollie says as she squeals with joy.
"See? She's got her father's competitive spirit already." You smiled.
"Let's just wait for when she starts in karting. She will leave us in the dust!" He said while winking at you.
You took Mollie in your arms and started giving her little kisses on her face, she was smiling as she tried to take your necklace. Suddenly, Charles' cell phone rang with a notification, he takes his cell phone to check and starts scrolling through a few videos, a mischievous glint appeared in his eye.
"Hey babes! You two up for a little TikTok fun?" He asked with a shy smile.
"Oh? What do you have in mind, monsieur?" You asked as you raised an eyebrow in his direction.
"Well, it's something I saw online, it's a trend where guys show off their girlfriends, it's called "cupid's chokehold" or something like that... Don't worry, it's a cute trend, plus, Mollie may appear in it! It would be so adorable" He said with a smile on his face.
"Hmm, alright! Let's see this Cupid's chokehold thing then!" you said a little doubtful but intrigued.
Charles quickly sets up the phone on the coffee table and hits record. The upbeat music starts, and he first showed his wallet very close to the camera, where he has a photo of you and Mollie, while the part of: "Everywhere I go I keep her picture in my wallet like here" was playing in the video and then you and Mollie appeared with a smile, Charles lifts Mollie onto his shoulders, holding her hands playfully around his neck.
"Take a look at my girlfriend, she's the only one I got..." He started singing along with the music.
He turns to you, his eyes sparkling with love and amusement, which is how he's always looked at you. You raise your hands in mock surprise, then break into a wide smile.
"Not much of a girlfriend, I never seem to get a lot" You also joined in to sing along.
You step into Charles's embrace, placing your hands on his chest as he dips you playfully. Mollie squeals with delight, giggling as you and Charles sway to the music, your eyes locked in a silent conversation.
He pulls you close, a tender kiss brushing your lips. Mollie reaches out, touching your cheek with a chubby finger, her happy babbling harmonizing with the music.
"Oh, we got you too, Mollie. You're the only little cupid we need in our life!" you said in a whisper only audible to the three of you, Mollie giggled a little at your whisper.
"Our cute little girl. As pretty as her mama" he also said in a whisper while giving both of you a small kiss on the forehead, you smiled at his action towards both of you.
The video ends with the three of you laughing and cuddling, a picture of pure family joy. As you scroll through the comment section later in the evening, you see hearts flooding the screen. The caption reads: "My two favorite girls. Take a look at my amore and our little cupid... they're the only one I got. #familytime #loveofmylife".
You just smiled when you saw the description, you definitely have someone with a heart of gold by your side, someone incredible and loving and you were simply grateful for that, there was no doubt about it, with him there was no such thing.

Warmth ❥Arthur Morgan
Tumblr media
ARTHUR MORGAN X FEMALE READER
CW➻❥ I pulled an all nighter man like yall fuck that’s what’s up
WC➻❥1265➻❥ this isn't well proof read so any mistakes or odd things are purely accidental
Summary➻❥ you’ve just arrived to Colter and once the cabin is empty, Arthur has an idea on how to keep you two warm.
*✧・゚:* WisteriaDumster original work.*:・゚✧
Tumblr media
You shivered into the abandoned cabin, doing your best to escape the frigid blizzard that tortured the old town. “How long you think we’re staying here for?” You adjusted your scarf, “I ain’t too sure but not long, couple days.” Arthur replied, you followed him as he entered the room Grimshaw had assigned for you both.
The bed was small, but you could cuddle up together to keep warm.
You hugged Arthur, wrapping your arms around his torso. He hesitantly accepted the hug and draped his arms over your waist, his hands gripping your body.
Your face was nuzzled into his shotgun coat, the texture rubbing against your cheek.
In the main room you could hear a conversation between Hosea and Dutch, “think you should go talk with them?” Arthur pulled you off him, looking at you, “I suppose you’re right ‘bout that.” He caressed your cheek and walked out of the room.
You had followed behind and were sitting with Molly. “How are you Miss O’Shea?” She closed her pocket mirror, “I’ve lived better ya know?” She adjusted her head scarf.
“Miss O’Shea,” Dutch stepped in, “would you like to come with me to check on everyone else?” His smile was sly, “I’d rather stay here, and be out of the storm,” she admitted, “I insist.”
The cabin had slowly emptied, Dutch had convinced Molly to leave with him, and Hosea was off to go check on different gang members.
You sat by the fireplace with Arthur, wishing the fire would engulf you with heat. “Darlin’ I have an idea on how we could keep some heat around,” you raised an eyebrow, “and what would that be?” He stood from the chair, he walked to your chair, towering over you as you looked up.
“We should have about ten minutes before anyone comes back,” he hinted. Your lips curled into a smirk as his idea, “quite risky don’t you think?” You stood up, “well I’ll be quick.”
His hands wrapped around your ass, suddenly lifting you up against his body.
You cupped his face, connecting your lips with his. One of his hands gripped and dug into your ass cheek, his legs stumbling, searching for a place to set you down. You pulled from the messy kiss, hot breath escaping your mouth. Arthur kicked down the chair you had been sat in just moments prior, he walked to the old table that laid against the wall.
He set you down, a hand holding your hips as you continued the heated kiss. His free hand was digging through the layers of clothing on your body, searching for an entrance.
“Darlin’ I hope you don’t mind,” he pulled back from the kiss, his forehead pressed against yours. You opened your mouth to question Arthur, a sudden rip of your underwear answered you. “I’ll sew it later,” you smirked and pulled him back into the kiss.
Arthur pushed his hand through his jacket, his gloved fingers pushing the button of his pants through the yoke. You uncupped his face, your hands pushed past his hand and undid the buttons of his union suit. His hard cock pushed out, waiting for what it had been desiring.
Arthur pushed your skirt and coat up your legs, his cold leather gloves made your warm skin shiver. “Arthur,” you looked at him, “take those gloves off please.” He obliged and pulled the gloves off, dropping them onto the small table beside the one you currently sat on.
Arthur’s calloused hands gripped your thighs and pulled you closer to the edge of the table.
Slowly he entered, you gasped as his cold dick hit against your warmth. You wanted to moan but you had no protection from the walls of the cabin, Arthur wrapped an arm around your back and pulled you in, thrusting slowly as his cock adjusted to the sudden temperature change. “Fuck” you shuddered against his lips as his hips rotated against yours. Your head rolled against your shoulders, falling against your back as Arthur quickened his pace.
“We surely ain’t got long Sweetheart,” he began kissing at your neck, “I don’t need long.” You managed through muffled moans, you bit your lip to contain yourself, your hands white-knuckled the edge of the table.
Arthur’s pace was consistent, hitting your walls just right. His lips vibrated groans against your neck, one of his hands released its grip against your thigh and tilted your head back towards his. His eyes fluttered with lust before he pulled you back in for unfinished kisses, his hands travelling into your hair, intertwining itself with the locs.
“Fuck Sweetheart,” Arthur groaned.
Your legs felt shaky, your body struggling to keep itself composed at Arthur’s increasing speed. The adrenaline from the chance of being caught made your heart race, as every thrust made you want to scream a moan, scream Arthur’s name.
A final thrust and his tip itched you exactly where it had to be to trigger your orgasim. You sprung up, throwing your chest against Arthurs, yours hands clawing at his back.
You moaned into his shoulder as your legs quivered, a wave of every emotion covered you as each muscle in your body tensed and released within seconds.
Your own orgasm vibrated against Arthur, a deep and raspy groan eluded from Arthurs chest. His body was heavy against your own. As the climax of your orgasm was ending, he continued thrusting through it, prolonging its inevitable end.
“Arthur,” you shake against him, coping through the pleasure you had felt and the pleasure you were still receiving. “I’m almost there Darlin’ just be a good girl and don’t move,” he mustered through a moan.
Within a few more intense thrusts and you doing your best to stay still and quiet, you felt and heard his own orgasim. A deep groan rumbled from his chest as he panted.
Two fingers lifted your chin up, his eyes twinkling with love, his lips slowly connecting with you for an intimate kiss.
The sound of a conversation began to enter your ears, “Arthur,” you pulled from the kiss. He looked at you and looked as your finger pointed towards the door, Arthur understood and helped you off the table.
You were quick to help him clean off and rebutton his clothes.
You pushed down on your skirt and went to your room, searching for your sewing box.
Arthur fixed the chair he had kicked down, he leaned in the doorframe of your room.
“Need help?” He cleared his throat as he watched you search through nightstand drawers, “how well can you sew?” You grabbed the small metal tin, “not as good as you Darlin’.”
“Arthur,” The door creaked open, Dutch brushed the fresh snow off his jacket, “we’re gonna go find Micah, you comin?” You made eye contact with Dutch, “Arthur you should go, I won’t freeze.” You smile, Arthur looked between you and Dutch before nodding at you and turning around.
He grabbed his gloves that laid on the table, he looked at you once more as he put them on, a small smirk sneaking through his lips for a moment. You smiled from his contagious look, your cheeks feeling flush as you thought of what had happened only moments before.
With a growing discussion the door slammed, leaving you alone.
You sat on the bed, turning your body away from the door as you hiked your skirt up. Examining the rough rip Arthur had left, you smiled at it.
You popped the top of the tin off and began setting up the needle and thread.

no grave can hold my body down, ill crawl home to her
Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary:
arthur morgan knew he was the type of man that shouldn’t risk falling in love, but jesus she just made it so hard NOT to
a/n: first fic!! inspired by work song by hozier lol. hope y’all enjoy it Xx 💗
‘Arthur Morgan, you fool’ He thought to himself, mentally swearing for catching himself staring at their camps newest member yet again. But he just couldn’t help it. He knew he shouldn’t indulge in this. It was stupid really, any attempt at love in the past had failed him. All because of this life he chose to live. One that wasn’t easy to leave behind. Though Arthur knew, if you asked him to he’d throw it all away. God this man would do anything for you, he practically worshiped the ground you walked on. He didn’t know why he was so captivated by you, maybe it was your honey sweet voice, or the kindness you showed him right from your first day of knowing him. He couldn’t stop himself from loving every little thing about you, to him you were perfect. A goddamned goddess. He thought you deserved someone better than him. A woman such as yourself deserved to live a good life, one where the law isn’t out to get you. One where people could be out to hurt you because of your husband’s line of work. You deserved to feel safe and secure in your life. Nothing like the chaos you were living through now.
Little did Arthur know, you were feeling the exact same way about him. You had deep feelings for Arthur Morgan, you were as sweet like sugar on that man. You loved everything about him, but most of all how he treated you. He made 100% sure you felt safe and were taken care of all the time. You were one of the first people he’d check up on when returning from a job. Or you mentioned something you needed and the next day he would just so happen to need to run to town and what do you know, the exact scarf, seasoning, hair ribbon, you name it would be included in his haul. And if he was around at meal times, he would not so subtly make sure you got your portion. All of this and yet, he rarely said a word to you. It confused you to no end, it felt like he cared about you deeply but he rarely paid any attention to you. You were a lost soul before you started riding with the Van Der Lindes, and because of the Blackwater situation it was hard for the gang to let in a new mouth to feed. But ever since the beginning Arthur made you feel so welcomed. You don’t know what you did do deserve his kindness but it was deeply appreciated. Mary-Beth was CONVINCED Arthur was sweet on you, so we’re Tilly, Molly, Abigail, Karen, goodness even Susan Grimahaw herself made a comment about it you once. You wanted to believe it so badly, but he didn’t talk to you!! He could just be a kind man of little words and you’re reading into the situation all wrong.
‘Oh well…’ You thought with a sigh, flicking your eyes up from the needle work you had long been neglecting because of your thinking. To your surprise, you found a pair of beautiful blue eyes already looking in your direction…
~~~~~~~
“Shit!” Arthur swore under his breath, god dammit you were still as a staute for ages before this why’d you have to look up now?? Arthur begrudgingly tore my eyes away from t and started walking to his horse- where he was supposed to be already. Hosea wanted to take him into town for some reason he had yet to say.
“Arthur!” Hosea said warmly. He then raised an eyebrow. “I hope you didn’t have any trouble getting here?”
‘Oh I this is NOT goin’ there.’ Arthur thought.
“Course not.” He said flatly. Hosea smiled a knowing smile, before long they mounted thier horses and were off.
The ride to Valentine was thankfully silent and quick. But Arthur knew that was going to change as soon as Hosea informed him that he was taking Arthur to the saloon to “Chat over a drink” With such a grin on his face that Arthur knew he was nothing short of doomed.
After getting situated at the bar with a neat whiskey and a beer, Hosea start talking to Arthur, though it felt more like he was speaking AT at him. Making little remarks about love and what it does for people. Sharing little stories of “the joys of marriage.” …..very sneaky, Hosea.
“Hosea…. Please get to whatever point it is yer tryin’ to make here.” Arthur said, cutting into his rambling.
“Arthur….” He cooed, sounding like he was talking to some schoolyard boy. “I’ve been watching you pine over (Name) for MONTHS.”
Arthur said nothing. Nothing but a silent prayer that his cheeks weren’t burning a fiery shade of red.
“I know you’re sweet on her, it’s as obvious as a wolf standing in a pack of sheep!”
Arthur ran a hand over my face and let out a tired sigh. Hosea sipped his beer, waiting for him to respond.
“What ‘m I supposed’t say?” Arthur grumbled, crossing his arms over my chest. ‘God, what a pathetic fool I am.’ Arthur thought. “Not like she’d want an ugly bastard like me ‘nyway.”
“On the contrary! Hosea chuckles. “I was walking by the women’s tent last nigh- couldn’t sleep. Wanted to walk a bit to clear my head- and my boy you should’ve heard the things (Name) was saying about you!”
At that, Arthur sat up a little straighter. “What things…?” He asked, slightly wearily. Hosea smiled.
“Son, she’s fallen for you head first! If only you’d start speaking more then 2 words a week to her! You do so much for that girl Arthur, would it be so hard to do that too?”
He didn’t say anything. Learning that, by some fucking MIRACLE- the woman of his dreams has fallen for him was making his head spin. Could this really be happening?? Could this work?? A stab of pain shot through him as he remembered Mary, and how things ended with her. But this could be different, after all you were with the gang. You didn’t care about his life, you loved him despite it all…Arthur hadn’t dared let himself think that a love with you could possibly work out. The thought made him giddy. He felt dumb as rocks, feeling so strongly for you without ever saying a damn word to you. But he couldn’t let himself get to know you- he couldn’t bare to hear your silky voice say his name more then you already do. With such kindness, such love.He wanted to talk to you, to love you, to cherish you and worship you like you deserved to be, but-
“Hosea, I’m afraid.” Arthur said quietly. “Look at ‘er, I can’t drag this woman down the path I’m on. She doesn’t deserve a man like me.”
Hosea pushed Arthur’s untouched whiskey towards him, Arthur took the glass and downed it all in one go. He listened to Hosea’a next words at the fiery liquid settled in his stomach.
“Are you going to risk making that decision for her?”
~~~~~~~
You sat on the cold ground in front of the dying out campfire, grateful that everyone had fallen into their cots for the night. You loved the solitude of nighttime. It was so nice to be by yourself, enjoying the quiet peace of the stars above you.
Before long, your thoughts (as they always did) turned to Arthur Morgan. Hosea has returned to camp hours ago, telling you that Arthur should be back shortly. It’s been hours and still no sign of him. You knew it was normal, but you couldn’t help but worry while he was out of camp. Which was stupid really, you weren’t his girl. Just because he was kind didn’t mean you had to get your knickers all on a twist over him.
‘Damn your mysterious-ness Arthur Morgan….’
You only know you dozed off when the familiar sound of a horse whining woke you up. And then an even more familiar voice soothing the distressed animal.
“Easy girl…. Y’know I can’t spend all my time with ya’ don’t you?”
You stretched your arms out and listened to the sweet interaction. Despite him being the gang’s toughest enforcer, a wanted dead or alive outlaw, Arthur truly was a sweetheart. He treated all the women of the camp with the utmost respect and was such a help to any soul in need of. If only he knew how badly you needed him.
You from your spot on the ground, drawing the outlaws attention. He approached with a small smile.
“Glad it was jus’ you..” Arthur said, hoping he didn’t sound as nervous as he felt. You on the other hand were absolutely over the MOON at the fact that Arthur had finally decided to talk to you.
“Oh I hope you’re not too disappointed Mr. Morgan!” You said with a light chuckle. Arthur, not sensing your sarcasm through his nerves, panicked.
“N-no! Not at all, ma’am! I apologize if I came off that way-”
“I’m just teasing ya’ Arthur. It’s quite alright.” You said and smiled. A smile so sweet and bright Arthur could’ve melted on the spot. Your sweet smile, the way his name rolled off your lips. Arthur wasn’t a religious man, but he might as well have been in heaven.
“(Name)….” Arthur said, his sweet southern drawl when he said your name making you blush. “I’d like to apologize. For how I’ve been treatin’ you.”
“Oh Arthur! You’ve been nothin’ but kind to me since I’ve been here- whatever are you sorry for?” You asked him, genuinely shocked at the man’s statement. Were you talking to the same Arthur who took care of your horse for you, bought you ribbons to put in your hair, and watched over you like a protective hawk? Sure he didn’t speak to you much, but you knew he was a man of few words. Even if it hurt sometimes, could live with it. You didn’t need him to love you back for you to love him all the same. You’d almost accepted it. Almost.
Arthur sighed a deep and nervous sigh, his thoughts blurring and the several whiskeys he had in him were NOT helping. Not a bit.
“You see- well it’s, it’s just-” Arthur stammered- god he was making a complete FOOL of himself!
You stepped closer to Arthur, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder. You looked up at him nervously. The two of you had never been close as this. Arthur looked down at you, you had concern laced in your eyes. Concern for him. Your long hair was falling out of its messy braid, the loose strands framing your face beautifully. He could see the nights starts reflected in your eyes.
‘How beautiful..’ Arthur thought. He was completely captivated by you. ‘How could a woman like this be allowed to roam the same earth as someone like me..?’
Without even realizing what he was doing, Arthur pulled you flush against his chest, one arm wrapping around your waist and the other reaching up to cup your chin. His touch was feather light as he stroked his thumb over your face.
“I ain’t never felt like this before Miss…” Arthur mumbled, leaning his forehead down to touch your. He didn’t have time to wonder (or thank) whatever divine force gave him to courage to do this. “You got me makin’ a fool outta myself…”
You let out a soft gasp at the a sudden touch from Arthur. You had only ever been like this in your sweetest dreams, was this really happening??
“Arthur…?” You whispered, questioning him. “Wha…What ‘re you d-”
That’s it. He couldn’t take it anymore. To hell with the risks, the past to hell with it all! He had come to love you more than life itself. You were exactly what he needed in his painful and cruel life.
You were such a loving soul, treating everyone and everything around you so kindly it was heartwarming. You give and give and GIVE to everyone around you. You never judged anyone around you for their actions- past or present. You picked up chores from the other women when they needed a break. You sung little Jack to sleep when Abigail was too exhausted to lift her head from her cot. You put braided flowers into your beautiful long hair whenever you had a moment to yourself. You smiled at him every morning when you left your tent to begin your day. You always kept the pink silk scarf he picked up for you and left in your tent with a note in the pocket of your skirt. You picked at nails and hummed when you were nervous. You loved staying up late, gazing at the stars and admiring the universe. He had pages upon pages of you doing exactly that sketched in his journal.
You were heaven sent. You were perfect. The world didn’t fucking deserve you.
Arthur slammed his lips down onto yours without wasting another moment. And he shuddered at the feelings of your lips finally being against his own. You kissed him back just has hard, standing on your tip toes to wrap your arms around his broad shoulders. You felt his tongue slide against his bottom lip, and wasted not a moment opening your mouth to let him in.
Months of longing, tension, were fought out as your tongues pushed against each other. Of course Arthur won, you could barely contain the moan that was building in the back of your throat when you felt his tongue exploring your mouth like a starving man. If he hadn’t been holding you so tightly, you would’ve fallen over. The sheer want and desperation of the kiss made your knees go completely weak.
Unfortunately, you both needed air and had to pull away. Arthur rested his forehead against your own. The both of you stood there, panting with closed eyes. Neither wanting the moment to end.
When you eventually opened your eyes, you looked up at Arthur. And couldn’t help the giddy smile that spread across your face. Arthur wrapped both of his strong arms around your waist, and he smiled sweetly back at you. You both stood there for a moment, swaying gently back and forth as you embraced each other. The silence that fell between you both was comfortable and welcome as you gazed into each others eyes, both sharing the same look of love and adoration.
Arthur was the one who finally broke the silence between the two of you, and you will never forget his next words.
“Please darlin’” He whispered. “I’m beggin’ you… I want you to be my girl. I’m sorry I was a fool for such a long time-”
You leaned up on your tip toes and silenced him with a gentle kiss.
“I wouldn’t have you any other way, Mr. Morgan.”

I saw you asked for requests a few days ago. I was wondering if you would consider doing another part of the Kent!reader x Jamie fics.
I was thinking they do end up pregnant and its them telling everyone they’re pregnant . I can see everyone being so excited for them. And then Roy is just freaking out.
Since they’ve already discussed wanting to be together forever and have kids I can also see them deciding to get married before the baby is born in a small ceremony like Beard had.
I have quite a few requests about Jamie x reader having a kid, so if that ain’t your jam, maybe don’t read my next few posts😂 It’s totally my jam tho, maybe bc I’m suffering from baby fever again. thanks for requesting and for your patience!!
Tumblr media
let’s fall in love for the night
Jamie’s jiggling his leg up and down so fast that you’re surprised he hasn’t cramped yet.
“Calm down,” you hiss, hand on his knee.
“Can’t,” he whispers back. “Roy’s gonna fucking kill me.”
You have no sympathy for him. “Yeah, and whose fault is that? Yours.”
Jamie shoots you a sideways glance. “Excuse me, this was a team effort.”
“Whatever,” you say. “I still say it’s your fault.”
Molly swoops by to refill your water glasses. “Dinner’s ready in a few minutes. Roy and Phoebe have been working very hard,” she says.
She raises her eyebrows on the word very, and you’re sure that Roy’s patience is being pushed to his limits. He loves cooking and refuses to let anyone help him, but he also loves your niece and can’t deny her anything she wants.
“Better go check on them,” she says, leaving you and Jamie alone again in the backyard.
Jamie resumes the previous conversation and says, “Well, I wasn’t the one wearing that blue thing with the flowers.”
“Well obviously,” you shoot back, “it wouldn’t even fit you.”
Jamie’s stopped jiggling his leg and he places his hand on top of yours. “Oi. Has Roy ever actually killed anyone before, or does he just have serial killer eyebrows?”
You wrinkle your nose and ask, “Why the fuck would I know?”
“You’re his sister,” Jamie replies in Phoebe’s patented duh tone.
“I’m his baby sister,” you say. “I’m even younger than Molly. If he’s killed someone, they’ve both conspired to make sure I’ll never find out. And hey, don’t make fun of the eyebrows. There’s a good chance this baby’s gonna end up with them.”
“Babe you don’t have ‘em,” Jamie points out.
“I wax,” you say smugly. “Oh, Molly texted. Time to go inside.”
Jamie groans but lets you lead him to the table.
All told, Phoebe didn’t do half bad.
“Auntie, I did the potatoes all by myself,” she says.
You look to Roy for confirmation. He grunts and gives a tiny nod.
“Great job, Phoebs,” you say.
Molly sets down her fork. “I’ve been thinking of changing my name back to ‘Kent,’” she says.
“Brill,” says Jamie.
“Fucking finally,” Roy says as he hands Phoebe some money. “For future words,” he mouths to her as she counts it before depositing what you’re pretty sure is 20 quid into her pocket.
Molly says, “We’ll all be the Kents again,” and you can feel Jamie go stiff next to you.
“The fuck’s wrong with you?” Roy asks, and you turn to see Jamie’s gone completely pale.
You pinch his thigh and he jumps. “Nothing,” he says hurriedly. “Well, not nothing. But, I dunno, don’t want to overshadow Molls’s good news, ya know? It ain’t important.”
You pinch him again.
“Ok, it’s actually a little fucking important (sorry Phoebe, take it from Roy). But um, maybe you could help me babe?”
He shoots you a pleading look so you take pity on him. You’ve had more than twenty years dealing with Roy, so you’ll let Jamie slide this once.
“Right, so, we’ve been meaning to tell you- I’m having a baby,” you blurt out.
Roy’s dinner roll gets crushed in his hand as his face goes bright red.
“What,” he growls, and you’re not sure if you’re more terrified by the absence of “fuck”s or the fact that it was a statement, not a question.
“That’s wonderful, love!” Molly says before Roy can say anything else. She’s not looking at him but you can practically feel him take psychic damage from the shut up and be happy you prick, message she’s sure to be telepathically sending him.
“It’s Jamie’s, right?” she continues, taking a bite of salad.
“The fuck kind of question is that?” you ask indignantly. “Who else’s would it be?”
“You don’t have to pay me for that one,” Phoebe pipes up. “I’ll give you a free tab of one hundred words because of the baby. If it’s a girl, you can have fifty more.”
You grin. “Sounds like a plan.”
“You’re probably going to owe her the fifty, Phoebs,” Molly says. She points to Jamie with her fork. “I mean, look at him. He practically screams ‘girl dad.’”
“That’s- fucking- great,” Roy garbles out. “‘Scuse me.”
“We’re having a backyard wedding next Saturday, too,” you call after him. “So we probably won’t all be the Kents again.”
You wince as he slams a door from somewhere in the house.
“He’ll come ‘round,” Molly says consolingly. “Remember how he was with Phoebe? And I was already married!”
You grip Jamie’s hand. “Molls, why can’t he just emote like a regular person? I mean honestly, did our parents fuck him up that bad?”
Molly raises a shoulder in a half shrug. “I don’t know, babe. Think he’s just like us, really, afraid of loving something so he just pushes it all away. And besides, you’re the baby of the family. We’ve always tried to protect you and keep you safe, and sometimes he feels like you’re out of reach.”
You ask, “He told you that?” and Molly just laughs.
“Not in so many words,” she replies. “But you know how he is.”
“He’s an arsehole,” you grumble. “I’m going to go talk to him.
Roy is, predictably, in the backyard. Not many places for him to go and think properly.
You find him sitting under the tree.
“Oi,” you say, “budge over.”
He grunts and moves so you’re not quite in the dirt.
“Can you be sitting on the ground?” he asks.
“It’s been like three months,” you reply, “That isn’t long enough for me to get stuck places.”
Roy says, “hmm,” but doesn’t offer up anything else so you just sit in silence next to him, pressing your shoulder to his.
“Why the fuck did it have to be Tartt?” he asks after a beat. “Could’ve been fucking anyone in the fucking world, and you fucking chose him.”
“You like Jamie,” you say in confusion.
“I don’t,” Roy replies, “he’s a prick. And a fucking footballer. Why’d you have to go for a fucking good-for-nothing footballer? He can’t even be around for his family when they go through shit because he’s going to be busy scoring fucking meaningless goals or some shit.”
That stings for a moment, but you take a good look at Roy’s face. It’s stoic, but shit if you can’t read it like a book. Blood is blood, and you’re a Kent just like him.
“This isn’t about him, is it. It’s about you. You think you did a shit job as a brother and an uncle so Jamie’s going to be a shit father.”
“I missed out on a lot,” Roy says hoarsely. “And before you say fucking shit, I’m not fucking crying. So shut the fuck about it.”
You grin and wrap your arms around him. “You’re the best big brother a girl could ask for. Took all my cues from you. And anyway, you’ve been there when it counts. Phoebe fucking adores you, practically attached at the hip you two. And yeah, Molls and I missed you when you were at Sunderland and Chelsea and wherever. But… you came back. We needed you, and you came back. So don’t go projecting your stupid self-image on Jamie, because he’s not like that. And you’re not either, you absolute fucking ape-armed frizzy-haired shit-faced twat.”
Roy huffs out a chuckle. “Ape-arms. Haven’t heard that one in a while.”
“Almost went with ‘camel knees.’ Haven’t used that since I was ten, but I thought it might hit too close to home these days.”
Roy laughs for real this time and tilts his head so it’s resting on yours. “Still fucking weird that my little sister’s having a kid.”
You say, “You’ll get over it. Oh, and don’t wear a goddamn T-shirt on Saturday.”
It’s rainy, so the backyard wedding becomes a living room wedding, because who really gives a shit? Richmond have a game tomorrow, but for today they’re in yours and Jamie’s house all dressed up (but still in trainers) laughing and smiling as Dani officiates what you’re sure is your dream wedding.
It’s not the one you and Molly would’ve giggled about as kids when you sneaked from your bed into hers, but everyone you loves is here.
For once, Jamie’s house almost seems too small.
(Dani was the only person you two knew who was ordained or whatever. And hey, could you have picked a happier person for it?)
Molly and Keeley had gone out with you to find a white dress, Sam and Phoebe were the flower-people, and Roy walked you down the stairs to where Jamie was standing with Isaac by his side.
“I’m not fucking crying,” Roy whispers in your ear. “It’s fucking allergies from being in this prick’s house for too long.”
“It’s my house too,” you remind him.
Roy just sniffs, pats your hand where it’s tucked into his arm, and presses a kiss to your cheek.
All in all, it was pretty great.
Gifts range from hair products to restaurant gift cards to designer baby clothes, including a tie-dyed onesie from Phoebe.
“I have a matching one at home,” she explains.
But now it’s the evening and everyone is gone except family.
“Can’t believe my baby’s married,” says a beaming Georgie as she ruffles Jamie’s hair from their place on the couch.
“Can’t believe he attained his childhood goal of marrying into the Kent family,” Molly remarks.
Jamie grins smugly. “What can I say, I’m a fucking goal-getter.”
You’re snuggled in Jamie’s arms, dress exchanged for a white sweatshirt and sweatpants set, courtesy of Rebecca.
“I’d’ve had a poster of you on me wall if they made one, babe,” Jamie says. “Better sight than that hairy git.”
Roy just rolls his eyes and says “I’m getting another beer.”
“Can you bring me a piece of cake?” you call after him.
“Me too?” Phoebe asks, looking hopefully at Molly.
Jamie pats your knee. “Don’t think he heard you, love. I’ll get it for ya. You too, Phoebs.” He shoots a wink in her direction, and she giggles.
“Oi, grandad,” Jamie says, walking into the kitchen. “Did you hear your sister?”
Roy turns around from the fridge with a menacing look.
“If she has a single moment of unhappiness, I’m going to fucking kill you,” he growls.
“Jesus, sorry,” Jamie says, hands in the air. “What’s got your knickers all in a twist?”
Fucking Jamie, never able to back down from a good squabble with Roy.
They’re both keeping their voices down because they know if they got caught, no less than three people would be grabbing them by the ear and yelling.
They might know this from personal experience.
Roy says, “She’s my little sister. I’d fucking murder for her, and so would Molly. Always tried to make it easier for her when she missed our parents and shit, but it always fucking got to her anyway. Didn’t help that I fucked off to Sunderland at fucking nine, before she was even fucking born. She’s wanted a family of her own for fucking ages, and if you fuck this up for her they will never. Find. Your body.”
Jamie’s not sure Roy’s ever looked this menacing, which is saying something, because he’s Roy fucking Kent. He always looks menacing.
So he nods and says quietly, “I ain’t gonna fuck it up, Coach. Had a shit dad too. Always wished he were around, except when he was then he’d get all fuckin’ angry and shit. But… still wanted him, y’know? Weird. Anyway, not gonna be like that with her. I want a family too.”
Roy looks straight into his eyes, looking for the barest hint of insincerity. Jamie’s gaze doesn’t waver. He’s not sure of much, but he’s sure of this. He’s sure of you.
Roy says, “Right,” nods once, then claps Jamie on the shoulder right at his phone dings.
Jamie pulls out his phone to a text from you that reads, pls stop fangirling over my brother. baby wants cake and so does ur mum
He smiles and tries to figure out how to balance three plates at once.

Jay Halstead (& Platonic! Will Halstead): People You Love
Some stories just write themselves and that is what this one did. I’ve been in a writing mood lately and I have a whole list of ideas I want to go through. This isn’t super Jay x reader-focused.
Warnings: Mentions of PTSD and anti Will/ Natalie content
You took a sip of your drink listening to Will talk to his brother about his latest disagreement with Natalie. You had learned at the beginning of your relationship with Jay and first meeting Will that it was not a topic of conversation that you should chime in on.
Will wanted to be with Nat and there was nothing that could change that to his and her own detriment. You stirred the brightly colored liquid with your straw, listening to the ice cubes click against the glass. It was a sweet drink that Gabby had made for you. You were one of the few who frequented Molly’s that didn’t drink beer and only ordered mixed drinks. You had gotten hell for it from a few of the blue-collar boys, but Gabby had taken that as a challenge. There was always a new drink she had found for you to try.
You tried to hide your wince by taking a drink when Will went through some particularly low blows of the fight. The saying sticks and stones make break my bone never considered how cutting words could be. Especially from the people who were supposed to love you. “You want another babe?” Your eyes flashed between his eyes and your cup which you now found almost empty. You hesitate, but with the way Will is going, you will probably be here for quite a while yet.
“Yeah, just one more,” You agree. You watch him leave the table and make his way over to the crowded bar top. He wouldn’t have to wait if not for your drink, but he never complained. You heard a sigh and the loud click of a bottle being set more forcefully on the table.
“Alright, let's hear it.” You glance up at Will expectantly. You weren’t close but you had acquaintanceship because of Jay. You liked Will but it was hard to form a real friendship with someone when you felt like you had to edit everything you said because they couldn’t handle your honesty. Will had a strong alpha male confidence and ego. He needed someone who could call him to the carpet, but you weren’t willing to risk your relationship with Jay to be that for him. You tilted your head in question to his statement. “I know you want to say something, so let’s hear it.” You shake your head circling your straw in your cup again. The bangles that lined your arms clinked together loudly as they slid down to your wrists. “C’mon,” Will pressed.
“It’s nothing you want to hear.”
“But there is something you want to say.” His gaze held yours and he raised his eyebrows in question. There was a challenging spark in his eyes. He was looking for a fight. “You’ve been with my brother for almost a year and never had an opinion you wanted to share about any of my relationship problems? I doubt that. I’ve been trying and nothing has been working out. So, I’m up for a female viewpoint.”
“What you want is a fight. I like my relationship with Jay, I’m not going to ruin it by fighting with his older brother.” Will sits up a little straighter in his seat.
“Is that so? Well, this one can be on the house. No backlash or fallout. The way I see it-I asked, you answered.” You eye him up and down trying to determine the truth of his words and if he was able to abide by what he just offered. You looked at the bar. Jay was leaning leisurely against the bar top talking to Kelly Severide, Matt Casey, and Gabby. You could tell he was still going to be a minute. You look back at Will and nod.
“You and Natalie are never going to work.” Will blows out a breath and leans back in his seat before scoffing and shaking his head.
“You don’t-” You shake your head at him holding up your hand making all the bangles clank down to the bottom of your forearm, the loud noise effectively covering up his rebuttal.
“Uh-uh, you asked my opinion and now you're going to listen to it.” Will mouth turns into a firm line but he stays silent. “You two are bad for each other. I know you want it to work, to figure it out, for the little rainbows and butterflies to flutter down to fix all your problems. But it’s not going to happen. You two are bad for each other. She is bringing out the worst in you and from what I can tell- from the very limited time I’ve spent with you together- you are doing the same for her.”
“I love her,” You shake your head at the redheaded man in front of you.
“What you're doing to each other isn’t love Will. I know you care about her. Want what’s best for her but that doesn’t make it you. Love is finding each other's soft spots, their weakness. It’s learning and knowing exactly what could destroy them. It’s having all that power and choosing to protect them instead of bringing them to their knees.” You play with a bangle on your wrist twisting it, “I’ve been in a relationship where we picked each other to pieces, and I promise you Will that isn’t what you want.” You feel your eyes mist over with emotion, “It’s hard letting go but when you find someone that goes out of their way to protect you...When you would do anything to protect them...You will know that you’ve made the right decision.”
“I protect Natalie.” You shake your head at Will getting frustrated with his purposeful ignoring of the issues. “We just get heated sometimes, say things we don’t-”
“That’s what I am saying, Will. It seems to happen every other week with you too. Over stupid things that don’t matter.”
“Unlike you and Jay. Because I’m sure you too never fight.” Will shoots back and your frustration rises.
“Jay has PTSD. I’m more worried about protecting his mental health than notching up our day-to-day bickering. He gets in this headspace sometimes and it is irritating and frustrating because I just want him to talk to me. For him to let me help him. But he won’t. I didn’t understand at first. How could I? Then he had a really bad bout of it after a case. He didn’t hear me come in and I startled him. He pulled his gun on me. Pointed it right at my head.”
Will felt his own frustration turn into something churning in his stomach. He knew his brother struggled with PTSD from time to time. He knew that he had nightmares and that there were times when he was constantly on edge- hypervigilant. But Will had never been there to see the full extent of it. “When he realized it was me, I could see it all in his eyes. He was afraid that he could hurt me. That I would be afraid to be around him. If he had any idea how terrified I was, not that he would hurt me but that he would torture himself with it. Nobody can hurt Jay like Jay can. The fallout was awful. He struggled to get past it. I knew that it could never happen again.”
“So, what did you do?”
You looked at your arm and wiggled it. The bangles clank loudly together. “I made it so I can never sneak up on him again. When I went through my Bollywood phase and bought bangles my mom used to complain that the entire neighborhood could hear me when I walked around. I’m sure one highly trained soldier can hear it coming from a mile away.” You look over to meet your gaze with Will again. “Now when I see the signs, I wear them. That is what you do for the people you love.”
A look of understanding and respect is clear in Will’s eyes. You give him a smile and feel the threads of friendship beginning to form on the strong foundation of honesty and shared love of another person. “If you ever tell him that-” Will mimics zipping his lips before taking the last pull of his beer. You two sit in quiet understanding, and you can see Will marinating on your words. Whether they are thoughts about Jay or his relationship with Natalie you were unsure.
Jay returns a few minutes later, setting a vivid blue and green drink in front of you and two bottles of beer for the brothers. You eyed the drink thoughtfully, “Gabby said you had to try it. She called it sweet poison, I think.” You stir it before sipping through the straw. You could taste the rum. Gabby had a habit of being heavy-handed with your drinks. It was good though. You turned to look at Gabby and when she raised her eyebrows in question you gave her an enthusiastic nod. She fist-pumped her accomplishment before turning back to Matt. “That good?”
His strong hand found your thigh under the table, and you smiled at him. You caressed his forearm with one hand while pushing the drink closer to him with the other. “Yeah, try it.” He made a face at you but took a drink from the cup, not the straw. He merely shrugged his shoulders when you asked what he thought. “Yeah, yeah it’s always too sweet for you.” Jay looks over at his brother.
“You okay man?” He questions, Will was being too quiet.
“Yeah,” He runs his fingers through his curls, “I was just thinking... Might be a good time to get away for a while. Maybe do a week trip at Gramp's cabin. Fish and stock up on some more wood for the winter. You want to go?” The offer seems to throw Jay for a second. Between Will’s struggling relationship and Jay being busy with a heavy caseload they hadn’t had much time to spend together. Jay looks over at you and you smile brightly at him squeezing his arm.
“Yeah, I have some time saved up that I need to go through.”

It's been 3 hours and you're already exhausted...okay well maybe not exhausted, but you were definitely bored.
You sighed, leaning your chin on your palm, as you listened to Liam go on about something, probably about how late you both were? You don't know, you stopped listening.
You glanced out the window, to see the 'busy' streets of Heaven. You were able to see what seemed to be a group of friends, laughing and talking with one another. You frowned, you wish you could be enjoying smoothies with Miko, Elijah, and Molly. They were really your only friends.
Yeah, despite being the prince of Heaven, you didn't have many friends. Part of that due, to Sera's insistence of not letting your travel far without super vision. But I suppose, trying to sneak out of heaven every chance you get to go outside is worthy of such a consequence. Well, maybe when you were younger it was an okay punishment, but you're an adult now. You don't need to be supervised like a child.
But like I said, that's only part of the reason. The second being, the friends you tried, or rather Sera forced you to try and make...felt fake. Not to say, they were twisted or two faced. They probably weren't, most likely just some overly excited heavenly resistance being able to meet the famous prince of heaven. However, that didn't mean it didn't get annoying. Whether they had good intentions or not, they made you feel an object..something pretty to ogle and admire. Like an expensive piece of art, a middle class soccer mom would buy, and hang up in the parlor to "impress" her friends, when it really it was to make them envious she was able to afford something so priceless.
It all felt fake, artificial whatever. You've  grown accustomed to it, people want to be your friend but they don't want to be your friend. You've come to realize that soon enough, so your feelings wouldn't be so hurt and eventually they didn't and you've came to terms with that.
Everybody loves you, but nobody likes you.
As you were wallowing in your own self pity, you failed to notice Liam, who was desperately trying to get your attention.
"y/n.....y/n!....Y/N!!!!"  You finally snapped out of it, the loud volume of Liam's voice effectively spooking you as your entire body went rigid, before you flopped to the floor like a fish.
"Oh dear! Your highness, are you alright?" The Angel cried, as he rushed to your side. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to frighten you!" He says, clealry panicking as he helped you stand up.
You rubbed the sore spot on your forehead as you mustered a pained smile, "I'm fine Liam, no need to worry about me" you patted him lightly on the shoulder to reassure him before taking a seat back on the chair.
"But I caused you harm!"
"It was an accident, Liam you're fine! I'm not about to damn your soul to hell" you say sarcastically. You were clealry joking, but apparently Liam didn't think it was very funny, as he looked genuinely distressed.
You frowned, deadpanning,"im joking"
"Oh...well it's not very funny, your highness we don't joke about those sorts of things"
"Me, Miko and Elijah do.." you huffed under your breath, unfortunately it seemed like the other angel heard you.
"Oh do they now?" He asks, if he had eyebrows he would raising them. "They're the hairdresser and the seamstress correct?". You perked up, a bit confused.
"Yeah why?"
"Well it makes sense why you're so snappy lately, I knew thsoe two were a bad influence" he says, arrogantly. Oh, yeah that pissed you off. You weren't one to get frustrated, at least publicly but this was ridiculous. He's blaming your only friends for the reason why  you having a sense of humor? You frowned, crossing your arms. You knew if you snapped at him, you would have just confirmed his suspicions and you're sure he would tell Sera, then you'd probably never see Elijah or Miko again.
"Let's just move on, Liam. We still have a shi-" a sharp look from Liam caused you to reword your sentence. "Stupendous amount of work to do" you corrected yourself, causing the other male to relax as he nodded.
"Very well, next we have your astronomy lessons"  he says, as he leads you down one of  the many halls of the palace.
Tumblr media
The grimy streets of hell, the bright, obnoxious neon signs advertising drugs or porn studios, and the stink of death. All things Charlie has grown accustomed to as the princess of hell. One would think, with such an intimidating title as Princess of hell. You'd expect her to be terrifying, cold, and power hungry creature, when in reality Charlie is more comparable to a puppy...or rather a kid.
Charlie was someone you'd least expect to be the princess of Hell. She's sweet, kind, got a big heart, and she's got a passion for singing. She's literally a wannabe Disney princess, just lacking the animal side kick...well unless you count Razzle and Dazzle. But on a serious note, it's unexpected to have someone so happy go lucky as literal he'll born royalty. But what's even more shocking is the fact she started up a hotel to rehabilitate sinners. The reaction to the hotel...was less than positive. But she simply doesn't know when to quit despite being publicly humiliated on tv that her only tenant was involved with a turf war.
But like I said, Charlie has never given up. She simply doesn't know when to quit. Which leads us to now.
The princess of Hell, sitting in the lobby of the hotel, planning out another presentation about her hotel, to potential customers....the presentation really consisted of colorful messy  drawings Charlie enthusiastically put together.
the room was quiet , but Charlie could swear she'd be able to hear some radio static every now and then. Which she supposed made sense? Alastor was weird, she wasn't even sure if he slept. Like at all. She shrugged going back to finishing her drawings. "Oo! Oo! Almost finished! I just need pink! Ooo where's the pink!" She said, cheerfully as she scavenged around for her pink marker. Once she found the plastic tube. She quickly uncapped it and scribbled in some doodles and a stripe of pink on her rainbow, and she was finished.
The blonde stepped back, as she held up her masterpiece in the air. "This looks great! I cant wait to show Vaggie!" She grinned, though something caught her attention in the corner of her eye; her phone was on and the Lock Screen showed a picture of her, her father, and her mother. A small frown made its way onto her face, as she glanced back at the messy child like drawings she made. She sighed, placing the papers down on the table as she picked up her phone. She sunk down into the cushions of the couch as she stared at the screen, they were so happy back then....what happened?
"Cmon Charlie, happy thoughts happy thoughts!" She tried to encourage herself. "You've got a hotel to run and sinners to redeem!"
'That is if you get any actual clients'  a small voice in the back of her head, spoke but she tried to shake it away. Sure, advertising the hotel on the news wasn't the best choice. Charlie could remember getting into a fight with Katie, and the absolute humiliation of having Angel dust being shown in participating in a turf war. And sure, they haven't had much success, no other demons have joined besides Husk, Niffty and Alastor but they were all employees that were literally forced to be here.
No, she couldn't give up now. Despite the crippling self doubt. She wouldn't give up. "There's got to be someone out there who believes in this hotel as much as I do, there's just gotta be.." she whispered, as she turned to look out the window.
"There's gotta be."

Back in heaven, you were being poked with pins and needles, biting your lip as you desperately tried not to flinch away from the pointed ends.
"Ow!" You finally yelped, as the needle pricked your skin. A small droplet of golden blood dripped from your forearm, staining the white gown you wore being fitted into.
"That wouldn't have happened if you would have stayed still, your highness" the Angel fitting you said, her voice in deep concentration as she clenched another pair of pins in between her teeth.
"I'm trying to!" You pouted, trying your best to stay still. "Why am I even being fitted? Elijah is the one who picks all my clothes! Also this looks like extremely formal attire!"
"Happy you finally noticed, your highness" Liam spoke up, "you're being fitted for wedding" he stated, casually.
"WHAT?!??" You screeched, your eyes as wide as saucers. "Wedding? Wh-what?! When? How- WHy?!?" You stammered over your words.
"Your highness, please stay still.." the female Angel said once more, as she placed another pin into your outfit. You whimpered a soft 'Ow' as you felt it nick you again.
Liam smiled, "ah yes, I forgot, Sera did not tell you." He says nervously. "You're being wed! Congratulations your highness!" He summoned a scroll, this one with a picture of who you assumed would be your future spouse. Before you, you saw a beautiful woman, she had dark skin, and light  purple tinted hair, styled in braids, her hair was long, length wise it could rival Rapunzels! Her eyes were gorgeous, siren shaped and a rich color of brown, or well one of them was, the other was a shade of green. You could also notice her dimples. She was beautiful, ethereal even. But you didn't know her! You didn't want to get married to a stranger.
"No!" You screamed, causing everyone to fall silent and look at you in surprise from your outburst. "I-I mean! Yes!" You stuttered over your words to try and save yourself. "She is, sh-she's beautiful but I don't know her!"
Liam looked confused, "she?" He then noticed his mistake. "Oh silly me, this is the wrong picture, you're not getting married to her, Aurora is your wedding planner.."
You jaw would have been on the floor, if it weren't literally attached to your skull.
" Why am I even getting married?! Sera told me none of us could since our life had to be devoted into making heaven and earth  a better place! And romance would get on the way?"
"Well, she's changed her mind. Or rather the humans on earth did, you are the Angel to represent us down in the mortal realm y'know? And you know humans and their romances! They think it's be a good idea!" Liam explained. So what? This was just a big PR stunt? For the fucking humans?!?
"But- don't-"
"Do not being up  Adam and Eve, y'know he and Eve were far from the perfect couple no matter how hard the mortals try to make it seem they were"
You sighed, "yeah..." you couldn't fight that, the fact Adam doesn't even fucking speak abt Eve, is already enough to know that even the humans on earth could see they weren't a great couple. Though,  they blamed most of it on Eve.
Misogynistic pigs.
"Don't worry, Prince Y/n. Everything  has already accepted  and he's more than happy to be married to you! He even sent engagement gifts!" Liam snapped his fingers, and a hoard of angels came in carrying gifts. Placing them neatly in the corner before exiting the room.
You were too stunned to say anything, Gifts?!? Really?!? They sent you gifts?!? luckily your fitting was over. The Angel fitting you pulled out all the pins, making you sigh in relief, as she went to speak to Liam.
"We'll have to shrink it down to a medium, and we need to adjust the waistline, the Prince has surprisingly wide hips for a man." They both glanced at you, as you blushed in embarrassment, shrinking back as you placed your hands in your hips, and felt around.
'Damn I guess I do have those Kim kardashian hips...' you thought. Though you couldn't really tell if that's a good or a bad thing. While you were in your thoughts, you failed to notice that Liam pulled out your to do list for today. "Oh, we're late, late, late. We have twenty, maximum twenty-two minutes for your royal fitting. And then it's move, move, move to your speech at the Angelic Society. After that, we have to rush, and I mean rush, to the Heavenly  Society Tea. And then there's your math lessons, your geography lessons, your science lessons..."
You sighed, as Liam began to go on and on, tuning him out as you focused your attention to look out the window. You noticed a butterfly, you're not sure how it got here, but you wished you could fly away like they could, "All my life, I've always wanted to have one day just for me. Nothing to do, and for once, nowhere I need to be" you placed your face in your palm.
"With no lessons, lords or lunches Or to-do list in the way" as you went on, your voice grew a bit louder to drown out Liam's rambling as you snuck away, desperately trying to loosen the tightness of the outfit you wore.
"No one to say when to eat or read or leave or stay" you made your way to the balcony as you continued on, you held out your pointer finger, as the (f/c) colored, butterfly landed on your finger.
"That would be the day"
"All my life, I've always wanted to have one day for myself. Not waking up with a pile of work on every shelf"  Charlie sang, as she brushed her suit jacket off, as she stood up from her spot on the couch.
"With no father in need of impressing. And no hotel in disarray" she stepped over the scattered markers on the floor as she saw something catch her attention out of the corner of her eyes. It was a butterfly, that intrigued her. You didn't see butterflies in hell. But it was a beautiful shade of cherry red, it matched her eyes.
"No hell with thousands of  sinners to save" she opened the window, gently to not spook the winged creature. It eagerly flew inside, spooking KeeKee a bit. Charlie chuckled, as she held out her finger as she watched it gently land on it. "And no extermination in the way".
Her smile fell a bit as she watched the butterfly fly off her finger, as all the weight and self doubt creeped in again. "What would it be like to be..."
You watched as the butterfly flew off your finger, "What would it be like to be free?"
"Free?"
"Free to try crazy things" you looked up at the sky, dreamily with a cheeky smile on your face.
"Free from endless IOUs" the red eyed demon, cooed, as she leaned against the wall of the hotel.
"Free to fly" your ears flicked, as you watched the butterfly flutter past you and out towards the balcony.
"Free to sing"
"And marry whom I choose" you sang bitterly, as you remembered your arranged engagement you own fucking sister didn't tell you about.
"Cmon your highness, don't be so upset. This is for the greater good, you both will be an adorable couple! Helping bring  hope to humans for centuries to come!" Liam said enthusiastically.
"I guess ..." you grumbled bitterly, "it's my duty..."
"Oh look! Another engagement gift!" He cooed, as another Angel sent down a gift on the growing pile. You rose a brow, a bit skeptical.  "You would think that I'm so lucky that I have so many things" you crouched down to grab one of the presents, it was wrapped in your favorite color with a golden ribbon on the top. "I'm realizing that every present comes with strings" you looked at the gift solemnly, as you fiddled with the string.
"Though I know I have so little, my determination's strong" Charlie, glanced around the slightly ramshackled walls of the hotel, nervously. Before putting on a determined grin, "People will gather around the 7 rings to hear my song!" The blonde twirled, as she thrusted her arms up enthusiastically into the air.
"Now I fear I'll never be..."
"Soon, I will forever be..."
"Free"
You and Charlie both made your way back to your balconies, as you both sang in harmony. " I close my eyes and feel myself fly a thousand miles away". You both gripped the railing as you both overlooked your kingdoms; Your sunny blue clear skies and Charlie's dark and dingy horizon. "I could take flight, but would it be right?" You both glanced up at the colored butterflies fluttering around you. "My conscience tells me, "Stay"
"I'll remain forever royal" you sighed, as you closed your eyes.
"I won't give up on these sinners yet!" Charlie declared determinedly.
"Duty means doing the things your heart may well regret"
"But I'll never stop believing" Charlie cooed softly, as she looked up in the sky dreamily. She was sure there was someone up there in heaven who'd take her seriously
"She can never stop my schemes" you rolled your eyes playfully, as you leaned against the railing. Sure, Sera could try and  tie you down with marriage but you weren't about to roll over and take it.
"There's more to living than gloves and gowns and threads and seams"  You both sang into the empty sky, as y'all watched the butterflies finally soar away from the balcony
"In my dreams, I'll be free"
"Nice singing twink" a familiar voice snapped you out of your perfect harmony, causing you to freeze. You turned around bashfully, as heat began to rush to your face. You were NOT expecting to be caught. You were met with the familiar sight of Adam's exterminator mask, you sighed. "Good afternoon Adam..." you noticed Lute standing not far from him. "Good afternoon Lute"
"Afternoon, your highness" she replied, professionally, nodding her head in a slight bowed.
"Uh? You don't sound pleased to see me? Which is fucking crazy, since I'm ADAM y'know the-" you cut him off swiftly.
"The original dick? Yeah, I know Adam..." you huffed, crossing your arms. "What do you want anyways?" You asked, as you fiddled with the collar  of your shirt.
"What a guy can't see the cute little twink he's about to put a ring on?" He asked smugly.
Your eyes widened, at those words, your form stiffening, as you processed what he had just said. Adam...is the Angel you're marrying.
Adam.....marriage you.
Adam is marrying you.
You couldn't help but let out the screech you've been holding in. Fuck that entire Disney princess ass song you sang about follwing your duty for the greater good that was when you thoughts you were marrying literally anybody else except literally FUCKING ADAM.
"OH YOU MOTHERFU-"

wc: 4.7k
cw: dealer!remus, high reader, rough family dynamic, impied parental abuse
“You never think of anyone but yourself!” are the words shouted at you as you walk out of the front door and you shudder.
It’s been like this for months, your parents have been just taking hits at you when they can, roping your siblings into it too.
You’re not entirely sure what you’ve done for them to suddenly look at you like this, but you don’t have much time to think about it.
Your friends are outside waiting for you to join them so you slap a smile on and skip out your gate.
“You look hot Bubbles,” one of them compliments, the use of your high school nickname making you smile, kissing her cheek as you get in the back.
“So do all of you!” you compliment back, hoping your voice sounds cheerful. “Where are we hitting up tonight?”
The call of alcohol and something to make you forget is too strong to resist. You need them.
Your friends jump into the house party you’re all going to and when you pull up you smile.
It’s a modest house, two stories from the looks of it, but it’s the group of people outside the door that really make you smile.
You can’t remember the last time you’d gone to a house party where people actually smoked outside and not in the house.
Also, the music was blaring and from the sounds of it, you’d be losing your voice tonight.
“Okay, I’ll get the weed, Bubbles you’re with me.” Your friend, Marlene, links your arms and drags you towards the group of smokers.
“Hello boys,” she calls, and they all look up. The first one to catch your eye is the beefy one with inky curls that sit messily on his head, he’s gorgeous.
“This is James,” she points to the other boy beside him, the one with tattoos crawling up his exposed arms.
He’s pretty too, but in a model way. He has strong cheekbones, lots of silver jewellery and hair that brushes his shoulders, “Pretty boy here is Sirius,” he only takes a drag of the cigarette between his fingers.
“And this,” she says, pointing towards the last boy, “Is Moony, or Remus.”
He’s by far, in your opinion, the most beautiful. He’s got sandy brown hair that flops over his eyes a little, and has scars running across his face, but the one that splits his upper lip catches your attention as it turns a silvery white under the starlight.
“Boys, this is Y/N. But I call her Bubbles.”
They all hum while you wave and James asks, “Bubbles like from the cartoon with the superhero girls?”
Marlene nods with a wide smile, “She’s adorable and she’s always so happy and that’s our Y/n.”
Remus raises his eyebrows at the comment and you give him a soft smile. His eyes linger on yours rather than the soft smile, and there’s something there that he can tell is for the benefit of your friends.
“We came to buy something,” you remind Marlene and she nods.
“Yeah, I wanted a couple blunts for now and I’m placing an order for brownies.” she says to Remus who shakes his head.
“No, I only have the stuff that made you grind your teeth last time.”
You watch kind of silently as they go back and forth: Remus insists he’s not listening to Marlene gripe about her jaw or teeth for another week, and Marlene insists that Remus is being dramatic.
Really though, you silently side with Remus because she had complained about lock jaw and sensitive teeth for a week the last time.
“Pretty girl, help me out.” he says, lazily leaning against a post as he faces you.
“Tell Marls that no one wants to hear about her lock jaw,” his honey eyes captivate you now that his full attention is on you.
“Marls, you really shouldn’t ruin your teeth.” you say gently and she scoffs.
“You’ll hook me up with your dentist again, Moony’s being frugal.”
Sirius shakes his head and butts in before you have to.
“Marls, come take a drag of mine.” she squeals and goes off with Sirius to a corner, James passes by when Lily arrives and that leaves you with Remus who’s still leaning on the post.
“Do you really only have molly?” There’s a little hint of hopefulness in your voice and a lazy smile spreads on his lips. He pushes off his spot and jerks his head to his car.
“I’ve only got molly where Marlene’s concerned. She’s been smoking too much recently,” you can attest to that fact.
“Is that really so bad for you?” Though they seem like friends, you know Marlene well enough to know that sometimes, people were just people and you knew people enough that sometimes money was just money no matter who it came from or how they got it.
“I kinda have’ta keep her ‘round, Sirius’ll have my head and the girl’s got a bright future.” you snort at Remus’ obvious sarcasm. The brightest thing about Marlene was her personality and while it had opened lots of doors, you don’t suppose it’ll open business doors- not any that Marls would take a liking to anyways.
She’d always been much better suited for things that didn’t make her conform.
“I’ve got brownies though, maybe like two more.” he opens his passenger door and brandishes a resealable shiny bag
Just seeing the bag conjures memories of your last high. The sun had been so warm after you’d eaten the gummy bears that your skin had peeled the next day after you had accidentally fallen asleep on the deck.
“How much?” you ask, already envisioning the high you’re going to have.
“Seventy,” he says and you nod, reaching into your purse and pulling out a hundred dollar bill.
“I don’t have anything smaller, but you can keep the change.” you say and Remus shakes his head.
There’s something about the way you look at Remus then at the bag that makes him set on not taking the hundred dollar.
“I couldn’t,” he could, the extra thirty would probably get him the week’s worth of fruits if he spent it at Frank’s. It could probably get him that new keyboard too, or well, it could go towards it.
“I insist, if they’re as good as Marlene claims they are, I’ll be buying in two days. Think of it as an advancement.” you say and Remus nods hesitantly. He barely withholds asking if you’re going to take the two tonight and why you would need to buy in two days specifically.
“Don’t eat both of them tonight, the high kicks in after twenty minutes.” he can’t stop himself s he notes the look in your eyes from earlier.
‘Thanks Remmus,” he watches you go over to Marlene and just barely makes out the words, ‘cheeky bastard’ before Sirius whisks him away to the party.
When he spots you again you’re sitting on the sofa with the biggest bowl of cereal known to mankind and scrolling through your phone.
He also notes that you’re alone and none of your friends are near you.
Sirius noticed and shook his head, slapping his hand down on his best friend’s shoulder.
“You look like a creeper,” Sirius says lightly, leaning over Remus’ shoulder. Remus scoffs, watching milk dribble down your chin.
“She’s high and Marls is pissed out her mind and her other friends aren’t even around.”
Sirius looks around and the group you’d come with aren’t visible but he knows where Marlene is, he left her in one of the rooms to recover.
“So you’re gonna stare off at her from afar and not just make friends?” Remus groans at how creepy Sirius makes him sound and pushes his friend off him.
“She hardly knows me,” He argues but Sirius just laughs.
“What does that have to do with anything? You’re not taking her back to your gaff.”
Remus sighs, brushes his hands on his thighs and stands, intent on making his way over to you.
“Pretty girl,” he greets you and you turn, eyes glassy and low as a smile spreads on your lips slowly.
“Moony!” Remus feels his own lips quirk. Taking the seat, he observes you for a moment. Unsure what conclusion to draw and says,
“Where are your friends?” you look around at his question and shrug with a sigh.
“Marlene slept with your black haired friend. The one with the grey eyes,” you slur over the words a little. Your tongue like wet sand under pressure. “My other friends are off doing whatever. S’fine really, I quite like being alone.”
Remus begs to differ. You shouldn’t be alone while high like this.
“You’re not alone anymore though,” he says and you nod, cracking the joints in your fingers.
“Nope, you’re here.” you don’t sound upset that he is and Remus takes that as a good sign.
A silence covers the space but then your phone rings and you flinch at the sound.
You fish it out your purse and sigh when you see whatever name on the screen.
Remus watches as you answer, eyebrows bunching together when you seem to be cut off. He reckons if the music wasn’t so loud he’d hear raised voices on the other side of the phone.
“I gotta go,” you say awkwardly to Remus as you hang up. “It was nice to meet you Remus.”
You don’t sound nearly as happy or as carefree as you had when he’d first sat down and he’s not sure if it’s that fact or how sad you look now that has his standing too.
“I can take you,” the words are out his mouth before he can stop them and if Sirius was closer Remus is certain his tattooed friend would laugh at how desperate he looks.
“I couldn’t ask you to do that,” you say but Remus shakes his head.
“You’re not asking, I offered and you’re stoned. There’s not a fat chance you’re driving anywhere, pretty girl.”
You nibble on your lip, debating his argument and when you find no rebuttal you sigh.
“Okay, but just,” you hesitate. “No comments about anything you see. Not to Marls or anyone.”
It’s cryptic but Remus nods, “Let me just tell Sirius I’ll be back.”
You nod and text your friends that Remus is dropping you home.
Instantly Marlene responds with a series of random letters and an excited voice note saying that you should definitely exchange numbers with him.
Your other friends don’t answer, but you say a quiet prayer that they’re safe.
The drive to your house is filled with your soft singing along to Remus’ radio and a plea for him to, “Please please stop at Dominoes.”
He stops and you sponsor him a pizza and a lava cake before he arrives at your house.
Remus doesn’t say anything but you can tell he’s staring at your house and you give him an embarrassed smile.
“Yeah, it’s a bit much, but my parents worked hard and they wanted to reflect that I guess.”
Remus detects a hint of distant disdain for what you have but he’s not entirely sure why.
“Thanks for the ride Remus,” you give him a side hug and before he can thank you for the pizza, the front door is being opened and out comes your father.
“You might wanna drive off,” you can feel the trepidation building in your gut when Remus doesn’t move to pull out of your driveway. “He’s gonna start yelling if you don’t.”
You really want Remus gone before your dad escalates the situation.
“I’m not leaving till you’re inside.” he says, and you want to smile but it comes out a bit tight and pinched.
If Remus can feel the anxiety rolling off you he says nothing and you’re grateful but you really wish he would leave.
There’s no telling how this night is going to end.
“Get inside now,” your father bellows and you grimace.
“Goodnight Remus,” you walk backwards toward your front door and say, “Come back in three days with more brownies, please. Thanks for tonight Remus.”
Remus nods and you finish your trek to your father who waits till Remus can’t see to grab your arm and all but drag you into the house.
“You’re hurting me,” you whimper and your father’s grip only tightens.
“Not as much as I could.”
The three days pass quickly, and you’re really grateful that you’ve got school work backlogged that keeps you in England while your family goes to Spain.
You’re nose deep in your work, drawing designs and mapping the layout of different buildings when your phone rings.
“Damnit,” you mutter, it’s almost like thinking of your family conjures them even miles and miles away.
“Hey ma,” you’re ready for the conversation to go sour at any point.
It does, you hear your dad in the back mutter about how you’re ‘the only one who doesn’t care about the family’ and his other verbal assaults and while your mum tries to temper his accusations you can’t help but feel your heart crack.
“I’ll call you back mum, enjoy the rest of the vacation.”
She tries, bless her heart, to keep you on the phone but she knows that the call that was supposed to be about her telling you of the jewellery she picked up for you isn’t for right now.
“I’ll talk to you tonight. I love you.” then she’s gone.
Your tears don’t stop after you hang up, your chest feels heavy with the weight of your father’s words.
You’re not really sure how long you’ve been reduced to tears but then you hear a car pull up and its horn.
“Shit, fuck!” you mutter, pulling back the curtain and seeing Remus’ car.
“Just my luck,” you say, putting on your glasses so it’s harder for him to tell you’ve been crying.
Grabbing your purse you rush outside and give Remus a tight smile when he comes out of his car.
“Pretty girl, this is an unusual outfit.” he’s only teasing. You’re in what you call ‘daytime pyjamas.’ They’re a light pink set with flowers on them and they stop at mid thigh.
Remus has a hard time looking away from the dough of your thighs and though his hands are full, they’re itching to grip your exposed skin.
“It’s an unusual day,” your voice is still thick with tears and Remus can tell.
His mind drifts back to Marlene’s comment about you always being happy and takes a look at your eyes and finds them bloodshot.
“Yeah? Maybe it can be made better,” you nod, hopeful that it can be. “There’s four in the bag.”
It’s a shiny blue bag this time and when you take it from Remus, you can smell the weed.
“Four? You’re spoiling me.” you say and Remus laughs.
“Not technically, you’re still paying.”
You wave your hand at him and he laughs some more.
“How much do I owe?”
“Seventy,” you shake your head.
“Something about that doesn’t seem accurate, Remus.”
Remus presses a hand to his chest, “It’s the truth. You let me keep thirty last time.” and you bought him dinner the other night.
You roll your eyes, “Then that means two are seventy, so I owe one ten.”
You pull the bills from your wallet and hand it over to Remus who stares at you in shock.
“Most people take the lower price and don’t say anything.”
“I’m not most people,” you shrug and Remus is inclined to agree.
Your phone rings again and you decline the call when you see ‘dad’ plastered on the screen.
“You going to Marls’ house party tonight?” Remus asks while he has your attention.
“And risk a verbal lashing if I stay home? No amount of backlogged research and case studies would ever get me out of it.”
Remus likes when you smile like you do when you imagine Marlene upset with you.
It’s a real one, not the one you’d been wearing the night of the other house party and then Remus feels insane for thinking he knows you well enough to tell your smiles apart.
Your phone rings again and again you decline and then a text pops up that makes you grumble to yourself.
“I guess I’ll see you there Remus,” you say, holding your bag to your chest. “The call of those case studies is too strong to resist today.”
“Bye, pretty girl. Don’t eat more than one tonight.”
You raise your hand to wave as you walk away when Remus sees finger shaped bruises along your arm.
“Pretty girl,” he starts and you freeze, dropping your arm with an arched eyebrow. “C’mere a second.” He really shouldn’t ask. He should leave it be, but then he thinks of how Sirius used to have the same bruises too.
Remus hazards a glance at your face and when he detects anxiety and a little bit of fear, he knows he has to ask.
“Who did that?” His voice is honeyed as he bridges the gap between you. You’re grateful he doesn’t reach for your arm, certain that it’d bring tears to your eyes. His mind instantly runs to how you’d told him to not say anything about what happened when he dropped you off and his chest aches for you a little.
“I hit it,” the lie is off your lips easily and Remus clearly doesn’t believe you as he ducks his chin to meet your eyes. “Hard. On a wall.”
He shakes his head at your insistence, but tsks lightly.
“You shouldn’t protect those people, pretty girl.”your eyes fill involuntarily and Remus worries that he’s overstepped as you shake your head.
“You don’t know anything about me, I did hit it on the wall.” There’s a slight shrill to your voice and Remus wants to take back his words. “No one has hit me, thanks for the brownies Remus.”
His name sounds like a curse as he watches you walk away, not leaving a moment for him to even apologise.
“Nice going Lupin.”
-
At Marlene’s house party, you hardly speak. You’d eaten an entire brownie before leaving your house, the high already making your fingertips tingle as you held onto your drink.
You’d opted for something less dramatic than your outfit at the house party- choosing instead a yellow and pink milkmaid dress that was finally wearable as the winter chill came down to a breezy spring. You’d chosen a pair of Mary Janes to be a little safer, knowing there was no way you’d be sober enough for heels.
“Sexy!” Marlene greets you and it brings a genuine smile to your face.
“Right back at you Marls,” she’s in a pair of the smallest jeans shorts you’d ever seen but they make her legs look amazing. “You look smoking hot.”
She ushers you inside and that’s when you get the drink, cold and icy making your shoulders go lax.
“Remus is gonna be late, the git.” Marlene complains as Sirius and James come in, and Sirius gasps.
“I’m here, I’m company enough.” you shake your head at the teasing look Marlene gives him that makes him huff playfully.
“Is Lily coming too?” You ask James who looks a little disheartened.
“She might, got held up at work,” you make quiet conversation with everyone, but when Remus arrives you feel thin.
Like he can see right through you as you laugh and joke with Frank, Mary and Marlene.
Marlene reads your stare at Remus as a lack of a chapter in your life in the five days you’ve been apart.
“What’s goin’ on there?” sh gestures vaguely between you two s Remus makes for the kitchen.
“Nothing, we hardly know each other,” you try to stick with the truth. “I think he’s upset about something else.”
Thank God for Sirius who swipes her away and her impending twenty one questions are saved for another time.
Your high only peaks higher as the night wanes on and when you can hardly wiggle your fingers without giggling, Remus wants to slot himself beside you and make sure you don’t get influenced to go in the pool.
“We should’ve waited til the full moon,” he hears you say, close enough to make sure you’re alright, but far enough away that he’s uninvolved in the conversations.
“Why?” Mary asks, Lily nodding along. You’re glad she had been able to make it, James had really seemed to miss her.
“Dancing naked under the full moon in a new house is like a guaranteed way for divine protection.” it’s a load of bullshit, something funny you’d picked up from Practical Magic, but you always wondered if you could actually invoke some spirit by doing it.
“We can still do that Bubbles,” Marlene says, then with as much precision as a drunk person could have she points to Remus. “We can dance under Moony.”
Everyone laughs but your eyes follow her finger and find Remus closer than you’d expected.
“Would you let us?” you ask, wonder on your face as you stare at him. “I dunno how that’d even work, but I suppose if you’re willing,” you shrug at the end of the sentence, your brain running off trying to figure out how it would be possible realistically.
Remus takes the opening in conversation as an indication to come closer and sits right beside you. Your thighs are pressed together and you’re sure Remus can smell your toffee and vanilla perfume.
“I’m sorry about the earlier, pretty girl.” The guilt that he’d made you cry had been gnawing at him all day, sitting heavy on his chest as he tried to go on about his day. He knows he’s overstepped, but he really had been worried. Remus is worried even now. You’re still mumbling to yourself about how you wouldn’t actually be able to dance beneath him.
“Pretty girl,” he taps your thigh gently, snapping your attention to him.
“I’m mad at you,” your voice is feathery as you try to keep the words a secret. “You weren’t supposed to ask questions.”
Remus nods sagely, “I know. I’m sorry for making you cry.” he says and you turn to make sure none of your friends have heard him. He finds it odd- that you seem nervous about them finding out you’ve cried recently.
“S’okay, you didn’t mean to.”
Silence fills the gaps in conversation, till Marlene is yelling for you by the pool again.
“Come swim,” she calls and you smile.
“I’ll get all wet, Marls.”
Remus thinks the possibility that you ingest some of the pool water is pretty high too.
“And? I’ve got pyjamas! The soft ones that you like.”
You feel tears prick your eyes at that, but that’s why Marlene really is your best friend.
“Okay, but you have’ta catch me!”
Toeing off your shoes quickly you run to the edge of the pool, and jump in and Remus is almost in behind you till you resurface.
“S’fucking cold Marls!” you shriek and she cackles.
You rough house for a bit then feeling your stomach churning.
“Remus,” your teeth chatter over his name. “Help me out.” he’s quick on his feet, lifting you out of the water from under your arms and leading you to a bush in the corner.
He doesn’t stare at the curve of your ass or how your dress clings to you like a second skin, but it’s tempting.
Then you retch and all he can think about is pulling your hair back and rubbing your back.
When you’re done, you sit on the ground shivering a little and wiping your mouth with the hem of your dress.
“Think you’re all tapped out for tonight, pretty girl.” you nod, sighing and leaning into Remus. If he minds he doesn’t say.
“Here,” he slips his sweater on you, revealing a plain white shirt underneath. His sweater is warm and green and it smells like what you expected Remus to smell like- weed and mint.
“It’s gonna get all wet,” there’s a pout in your voice that Remus longs to coo at. He just shrugs. You slip the straps of your dress off under his sweater and pull your dress off down your thighs. If he had been tempted by them before, now he thinks he might die from how you look in his sweater that exposes almost the entirety of your legs.
“Think we should get you a little drier and warm.” he says, helping you stand and leading you back inside Marlene’s house.
His hand hovers over the small of your back as you wind up the stairs. You push open a few doors till you find the bathroom and Remus stands in the archway.
“I’m gonna go look for something for you to wear after you shower,” the words are intimate for the relationship you and Remus have. “Do you want anything specific?”
Your eyes look glassy under the light as you stare up at Remus, “She has a pair of pants with little cherries on them and they’re super super fluffy.”
There’s adoration dripping in your voice and Remus wonders how much of both highs are still at play.
“I’ll leave it on the bed for you,” Remus starts walking away, “You should probably get some sleep though, pretty girl.”
You nod rapidly and then shut the door, turning on the water and while you wait for it to heat up you mumble to your reflection.
“Get it together, I can’t believe you were just sick in front of him.” You rub your face in the shoulder of his sweater and take a big inhale, breathing in all things Remus and then scowl at yourself.
“Behave.” you even wag your finger like they do to poorly trained dogs.
Remus is sitting against the bannister when you come out, steam licking at your heels. His eyes are hazier than before and you’re almost positive he had taken a short nap while waiting on you. He looks pretty though, ankles crossed in front of him and arms crossed over his chest.
“Didn’t want you to be up here alone,” his voice is husky and you’re fully positive he’d been asleep.
“You’re gonna make me feel spoiled.” you mumble the words and Remus stretches to standing.
“What’s so wrong with that?”
He follows you to the bedroom door and then says, “Get some sleep, it’ll help with that headache you’re gonna get.”
As he moves to the stairs you suddenly don’t want him to go. “Wait,” you shuffle towards him, et footprints following you.
“Your sweater,” the words come out awkwardly as Remus stares down at you.
“Keep it, it’s still mostly dry and you can put it back on if you get cold.”
There’s an unsaid, ‘or if you don’t want anyone to see the bruise.’
You nod, but Remus can see gears turning in your head.
“Don’t laugh at my request.” you dig your toes into the hardwood.
“I won’t,” Remus is worried you’re going to say something outlandish and hard to come by, but he also wants to know what you want- he wants to be the one to give it to you too.
“Will you stay with me? Just till I fall asleep and then you can leave if you want.”
The words are rushed and your chin stays firmly tucked into your chest. Remus thinks you look like a little kid who’s nervous about performing for their school.
“Why would I lugh? ‘Course I can, pretty girl.” his knuckles reach to brush some hair off your cheek. “Jus’ let me tell Marls and get you some water and crisps.”
“Thanks Remus,” you kiss his wrist and go to change.
Remus swears if you had kept your lips near his wrist any longer you’d have felt his pulse stampeding.
When he comes back to the guest room, you’re in his sweater just barely awake as you lay down. “Scoot down to the corner, pretty girl.”
He sets the water on the nightstand and slides in beside you.
“Thanks for staying,” a yawn breaks apart your words and Remus waves you off.
“It’s nothing, close your eyes.” you do, and your body turns into him, head laying on his arm.
You’re gonna kill him. He knows it, he feels it in his bones. You’re going to be the death of him.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL
Pairings: George Weasley x Fem!reader Summary: you realise how much you love George when he loses his ear Warnings: mention of blood
Tumblr media Tumblr media
you looked at him carefully as he talked to his mum, telling her that he will be ok
you knew it was a dangerous task, and you begged to go with them, but he told you no. that he didn't want you to get hurt.
you had told him not to go multiple times, but he had said he had to, that he couldn't not do it.
"hey" he said, snapping you out of your thoughts
"hi" you mumbled
"I'll be ok. I promise" he smiled
"you can't promise something like that, George" you shook your head. you had talked to everyone else because you didn't want to say goodbye to him, because you didn't want to know that it might be the last goodbye
"yeah, but I wouldn't lie to my best friend" he raised his eyebrow, Best friend.
that's what you two were, best friends since your first year at Hogwarts.
"we have to go" Mad eye grumbled
"see you when I get back" he sighed, pulling you into a hug
"please be careful, George" you muttered, holding him tightly
he let go and smiled at you before leaving the burrow, going to private drive to Harry
"alright, how about we make some supper for when they return. hm?" Molly takes a deep breath, looking at you and Ginny who stood by the door
her hands were on her hips and she frowned
Ginny shrugged and went to help her mum, leaving you at the door, wishing you went with them
-
you put the tray in the oven and take off the mittens before you heard a crash outside the burrow
you, Molly and Ginny rushed outside and saw Hagrid and Harry, drenched.
"harry, Hagrid!" molly yelled out "what happened?"
"where are the others?" she asked
"is no one else back?" Harry raised his eyebrows
"they were onto us right from the start, Molly. we didn't stand a chance" Hagrid spoke disappointedly
"well, thank goodness you two are alright" Molly nodded
"the death eaters were waiting for us, it was an ambush" Hagrid informed you and Molly as Ginny went to harry
you went inside and talked to Molly as you heard rushing to the door.
you turned around as saw Lupin and Harry helping what looked like an unconscious George to the couch
"Georgie" you muttered out as you watched them lay him down on the couch
you rushed around the couch and went down to your knees in front of him. ignoring Lupin interrogate Harry
his eyes were closed and he looked tired
the whole side of his face was covered in blood as the red liquid ran down his neck. his hair was a mess and shoulder of his jacket was stained red.
you went to hold his hand but noticed it was covered in blood as well
"oh George" you whispered
you almost felt like crying, you couldn't imagine the pain he's going through, and you couldn't but imagine if it wasn't just his ear.
you didn't care about the blood and held his hand anyway.
what if you had lost him, not just his ear, but what if he hadn't returned and had died.
you were worried sick the entire time there were out and now that he had returned, you felt even more sick.
"you said you would be careful" you murmured, staring at his sleeping state
"it's not like I planned this" he replied quietly, his voice slightly breaking
you looked at his ear and almost threw up at the sight
"George, I told you to stay here, I sai-" you started
"I had to" he cut you off softly
you stroked his hair and shook your head, even though he couldn't see you
you leaned in kissed his forehead as you lightly sobbed
--
you laid in your bed in the burrow, in Ginny's room.
Ginny slept heavily as you twisted and turned.
you had slept for like ten minutes before waking up from a bad dream.
a bad dream where George didn't just lose his ear, where Lupin had showed up to the burrow alone, breaking the news to Molly, to you and to Ginny.
you woke up in your own tears as you worried about George, what if he was still in pain? what if he was bleeding out through his bandage in his bed, what if you had imagined he came home and he actually did die.
you started panicking as you sat up.
you didn't want to lose him, he was one of the most important people in your life, and you loved him.
and this situation really made you realise that you didn't only love him as a friend, but more, that you wanted to hold his hand, that you wanted to kiss him and take care of him. it made you realise that you never wanted to leave his side again.
that it would kill you inside if he was to die.
you took the covers off yourself and got out of the bed.
you quietly walked out of the room and made your way to George's room.
you opened the door and crept inside, closing the door behind you
the light snores of the two twins filled your ears.
you walked up to George's bed and saw his sleeping with a frown, his ear bandaged up.
he was cleaned up after he had a long bath to ease his nerves and pain. his neck wasn't bloody and his clothes were clean and fresh.
you didn't want to be creepy, but you needed him in that moment, you craved to be near him, to know that he was still here
you lifted up the covers and slipped into his bed and cuddled up next to him.
he moved around and groaned
"love? what are doing? he asked you huskily
"making sure your ok" you muttered
"can you repeat that? I can't exactly hear through that ear anymore, love" he replied
you choked back a sob as you tried talking to him
you ended up just staring at him in the darkness, nuzzled in his warmth
"love?"
"I love you" you admitted "I know you don't love me too, but I didn't want to lose you and it could ki-"
"are you kidding? of course I love you, I can lose everything, but not you, oh merlin, I would rather die than lose you, that's why I didn't want you going" he confessed
"George, I didn't want you going, and look what happened" you motioned towards his ear
he pulled you closer to him and leaned his head away to not irritate his hole.
"it's only one ear, at least I can still hear your beautiful voice" he smiled lazily
"it's better than losing an eye, or an arm, or leg, or anything else" he shrugged
"yeah but you're still hurt. it still hurts, doesn't it?" you questioned
"it's numb, all I can hear out of it is a constant ringing sound, it took me ages to fall asleep because of it" he replied
"sorry" you apologised
"huh?"
"I said sorry" you repeated so he could hear
"it's ok, you make it better" he yawned
you stayed in silent for a moment before he whispered again
"do you still think I'm handsome?"
you laughed quietly at his words as you shook your head
"the most handsome guy I've ever met" you beamed
"more than Fred?" he raised his eye brows
"way more" you nodded
you felt him place a delicate kiss on your forehead and you closed your eyes
"I love you, George" you sighed, hearing his heartbeat as you rested your head on his chest
"hm" he hummed "I love you more, Love"

A HUGE thank you to AlexandrMcQueer on Twitter for the accompanying artwork! Check out the full NSFW version on her account.
Tonight was finally the night of the annual Ministry Christmas party, and Christmas Eve. Papa needed your help to pull everything off, so all week you were scheduling with the bakers, the cooks, the cleaning crew, and decorating.
But after this evening, you could relax. Well, aside from tending to Papa’s needs and making sure the ghouls didn’t get too soused that it ruined their unholiday in the morning. But after the party, you could enjoy the festivities.
Everyone began milling about and socializing in the main hall, picking at the large charcuterie spread and ladling punch or eggnog into glasses. It looked like everyone from the Clergy was there. Even Imperator and Nihil showed up, though they did not seem too sociable, seating themselves at a table in the corner. Primo immediately sat himself in one of the few chairs scattered around the hall with a large mug of something warm.
Suddenly the ghouls began whooping and you turned your head to see Terzo enter in a lavish looking Santa suit - it was made of crushed red velour with flecks of red sparkles and appeared to be trimmed with white feathers.
“Nice suit, Terzo,” you quipped, eyeing him up and down as he approached you.
“That’s Papa Claus to you, principessa,” he said with a snarky grin and giving you a smooch on the lips. “And you’re Santa’s little helper.”
That you were. He’d ordered you the shortest green elf dress, although the skirt was more like a tulle tutu. The outfit was a whole ensemble, complete with an elf hat with ears, pointy shoes with bells on the end, and candy cane patterned tights. You felt ridiculous, but ’tis the season.
Everyone was in their best holiday attire - anything from ugly Christmas sweaters to formal wear. The ghouls were all dressed in elf costumes, with the exception of Dew, who was dressed as Rudolph - an antler headband fitted over his mask and a red nose strapped to the front of his mask.
Cardinal Copia was wearing an old Saint Nick red and gold cloak over his red cassock, and a poorly made attachable white beard. Secondo was dressed in an all black 3 piece suit that had a subtle fleur de lis pattern, and was chatting with one of Primo’s ghouls.
The night went on, and you were actually managing to have fun. The ghouls turned one of the snack tables into a flip cup station (much to your dismay as you shuffled the catering staff carrying fresh trays of food back into the kitchen) and several of the Siblings started Christmas karaoke, with a very drunk-looking Copia taking the lead.
Terzo flitted between you and the rest of the guests, chatting with various Clergy members (and skillfully dodging Imperator each time). He snuck up behind you, squeezing your ass.
“Make sure these old fucks are having fun, eh?” he said lowly in your ear, nodding backwards to the senior members of the Clergy.
“And just how am I supposed to do that?” you said, one eyebrow raised, his hand still under your skirt.
He winked at you, handing you a bottle of opened bourbon before cupping your ass cheek in his hand and rubbing it. “We’ll cheers soon, then I can have you all to myself.” He leaned in closer to whisper in your ear. “Papa’s going to be coming down your chimney tonight.”
He clapped you on the ass then darted between people again. “Everybody - eggnog!” he shouted towards the crowd, raising his arms up. He was herding everyone to the center. You thought you might die on the spot from your cheeks burning red, but everyone was paying attention to him - thank Satan.
As everyone poured themselves another glass and gathered, you went around and splashed a bit of bourbon in everyone’s cup.
“Some bourbon for your eggnog, Cardinal?” you asked Copia, approaching him with the bottle.
“Eh, none for me,” he said, hiccuping and covering his glass. “It’s strong enough as it is! I’ve had th-three already.”
“It’s nonalcoholic, Cardinal,” you responded, blinking at him. He looked puzzled and walked away.
You made your way over to Primo who was almost snoozing in his chair. “Papa Primo?” you asked, holding the bottle out, gesturing towards his half empty mug. You weren’t sure if he was dressed like Scrooge on purpose or if those were just his pajamas but he mumbled something that sounded like “Bah,” and shook his head swiftly, the tassel at the end of his nightcap swinging around.
Everyone was standing in a semicircle around Terzo, who for once seemed just slightly lost for words. “Well, uh - shit,” he began, eliciting a few chuckles from the crowd. “I do not know what else to say, other than it’s been a fucking great year. We had two fantastic tours, and we’ll be continuing into next year… I, eh - met someone very dear.” He glanced at you briefly before continuing. “We won a motherfucking Grammy…!”
The ghouls whooped and cheered while the Siblings and other Clergy members clapped. You glanced over in the corner. Even Imperator seemed pleased - maybe.
“Sì, sì it has been phenomenal. You should all be very pleased with yourselves. So pleased in fact I think you should all celebrate, in eh, whatever means you choose to do. And if I do not see you all before the New Year, have an unblessed holiday. Now, we toast! Tomorrow morning we will celebrate our Savior’s birth. But for tonight, we sin.” He held up his glass and the others did the same. “To Lucifer!”
“To Lucifer,” you said, chiming in with a chorus of voices. You swallowed your bourbon-eggnog concoction - mostly bourbon by your heavy hand, you found as you winced slightly, the liquor burning down your throat. You didn’t drink much and this was your first holiday gathering at the Ministry. Next month would mark your first full year here, and the first time you laid eyes upon him - your Terzo.
“Eh, see you next year, Papa!” piped up Copia, still hiccuping as he nodded and ducked out of the crowd. You smiled at the Cardinal’s little joke. Terzo stopped in his tracks for just a moment and acknowledged Copia before walking away.
He rolled his eyes as he walked towards you then his face brightened. “Hello,” he said, standing very close to you.
“Hi, Papa,” you said, smiling at him and holding up the last bit of bourbon, swishing it in the bottle. “Saved the last for you.”
“Mmm,” he said, leaning in to kiss you. “How much? I need to keep my stamina for later.”
You took a swig and shuddered - Satanas, you still couldn’t drink straight liquor. “Not much now.” He chuckled at you and took the bottle from your hand, knocking back the rest. You coughed a couple of times and reached for some party punch, completely forgetting the one you reached for also had alcohol and coughed again.
He patted you soothingly on the back and asked, “Are you okay, tesorina?”
You nodded, finally grabbing the nonalcoholic punch and chugging some.
“Will Papa have to take care of his little elf this evening?” he said, trailing the back of his index finger over your cheek.
“No, Papa,” you said, clearing your throat. “I’ve barely had anything.”
“Good. I have a surprise for you tonight, amore.”
“Hm. Any hint?” you asked coyly.
“Not a fucking clue. Come to my room in five minutes just as you are.” He picked up a handful of hard candies from the snack table and popped a few in his mouth, staring at you while walking backwards a few paces before turning around and heading down the hall.
You continued to mingle with the other Siblings, trying hard to conceal your blushing cheeks but to no avail.
“Someone’s excited about something,” one said.
“It’s nothing,” you murmured.
“Come on - spill!”
“Well, Terzo and I -”
“Terzo?” said another.
“Oooooh!” the others said in a singsong tone almost in unison.
“He said he has a surprise for me, in his room.”
“So you graduated from office visits to home visits now?” asked the first Sibling, looking impressed.
“Well…I’ve seen his bedroom a few times,” you said, not willing to divulge the full truth just yet. You’d been spending most of your nights in his room and sneaking back into the Siblings’ quarters early in the morning. Even though each Sibling had their own room, you knew your Sisters would hear the door to the suite open.
“I think this is the most serious he’s been with anyone,” said the second Sibling. “I’ve been here a few years and usually he’s done with his fling after two months. But you’ve stuck around.” You shook your head, not willing to believe this hype only to be let down. You just wanted to live in the moment and enjoy what you had with Terzo. “You should go - you don’t want to keep him waiting.”
You smiled and bid your fellow Siblings goodbye as they all made lewd gestures to imitate various sex acts and waved you off, wishing you luck.
You walked down the silent and dark corridors, passing ghouls and Siblings alike shrouded in the shadows to have their midnight dalliances, no doubt egged on by the holiday cheer and the alcohol. You smiled, thinking about not having to hide in a hallway like when you first started dating him. Now you had his entire bedroom to have your sultry romps.
You opened his door and walked into his Papal suite, the familiar lush decor and smell of mahogany filling your senses. You passed by the small and elegantly decorated Christmas tree by the fireplace. You wondered just what his surprise might be when you saw him propped up against the wall, a rose in his mouth and —
What was that?
He was dressed in his Santa jacket and hat, with nothing else on - save one thing. Your eyes trailed along his upper body then snapped to what was in between his legs. On the end of his throbbing hard cock was some mistletoe, tied around his shaft by a red ribbon and a little gold bell below it. He waggled his eyebrows and at the same time isolated his pelvic muscles to make his cock bob up and down, tinkling the bell.
“How long have you just been standing there all hard waiting for me?”
His face fell momentarily and he took the rose out of his mouth. “I thought you would like it.”
“I do!” you said, suppressing laughter as best as you could while stepping towards him. You held onto the lapels of his jacket and leaned in. “I do.” He smiled again, a smug look of satisfaction washing over him.
“Good,” he said, handing you the rose. “Because you’re going to get stuffed and glazed just like Secondo’s honey ham.”
You bit your bottom lip, smiling. “But I don’t think it’ll be quite as delicious as you, amore.”
“It should be. I’ve been eating a lot of pineapple for this.”
“Really? Then I’ll have to taste it for myself,” you said, feeling the heat pool at your core.
He cupped your face in his hands, kissing you deeply, slipping his tongue in. You weren’t sure where to place your hands so you held onto the rose with one hand, the other in his hair. He swiftly brought you closer to him, his quivering cock poking at your thigh under your tulle skirt.
“Mm!” you said, surprised at feeling his hardness brush against you.
“Well,” he said, pulling away to look at you. “It’s not going to kiss itself, tesoro.” He twitched his cock again, making it bob up and down and wagged his hips side to side, making it shake the other direction and sounding the bell.
You eyed him slyly as you bent down, gently falling to your knees before him and placing the rose on the floor. You took his cock in your hand and began stroking his length, eyeing the perfect pink tip at the end. Each time you stroked him, the bell would chime.
“Oh cazzo,” he sighed, leaning his head back, his lips parted.
You flicked the tip of your tongue against the head of his cock and watched his abdominal muscles contract. He was like putty in your hands.
“You like that, amore?” you asked teasingly, his shaft in your palm.
He glared at you from the corner of his eye. “Stai zitto,” he said through moans as you continued to swirl your tongue around the head of his cock. But you could swear you saw a smirk pull at the corner of his mouth as he said this.
You closed your eyes as you took his entire length in your mouth, sliding him in and out and clutching onto his hips. The little leaves on the mistletoe tickled your nose each time the bottom of his cock reached your lips.
Clink! Clink! went the bell each time you slid him in and out of your mouth.
He started to whimper and moan quietly, his eyes closed in pleasure. His hand was on the back of your head, gripping your hair tighter the faster you went. At one point he began thrusting into your mouth, probably no longer able to contain himself.
Clink! Clink! ClinkClinkClinkClinkCLINKCLINK
“Mmm!” you mumbled around his cock as the greenery around his member assaulted your face over and over, scratching your nose and cheeks a little bit each time. CLINK.
Your eyes welled with tears as he hit the back of your throat repeatedly. CLINK. At this point you were hardly doing any work, just kneeling there and being used as a vessel. CLINKCLINK
“Satanas you’re going to make me cum like that,” he panted as he continued pushing his hips into your face.
You smiled around him - well as best as you could - and brought him closer by gripping his ass cheeks.
“Ah - cazzo!” he exclaimed, suddenly pulling out of your mouth and panting.
“Terzo?” you asked, trying to look up but you were unable to as his hand remained on your head as he used you to prop himself up and regain composure.
“I can’t cum too soon and ruin the evening, no?” he said, standing up straight and helping you up off the floor. “Not when I haven’t even taken care of you.”
You kissed his laughter lines around his mouth as he spoke, his Papal makeup smudged from your kisses earlier. “You always take such good care of me.”
He turned to face you and held you in an embrace, kissing you passionately again, his hands roaming all over your body. He began to massage your breasts through your costume, building the arousal between your legs even more. Your breathing quickened as you both moaned into each other’s mouths.
“Fuck this fucking blouse,” he said breathlessly, breaking away and tearing at the front of your green cardigan, the buttons flying across his floor - eliciting a ‘Shit!’ from you. “Mmm!” he mumbled, kissing you again, pawing at your chest.
He fumbled around your back at your bra clasp, unhooking it after a couple of tries. You urgently slid the straps off your shoulders and tossed the bra to the floor. He bent down to take your nipple in his mouth, circling his tongue around it and sucking. He alternated, pinching the other one between his fingers.
“Oh Terzo,” you sighed, running your hands through his hair, fiddling with the silver strands peppering his raven hair. He’d never admit to it, but you saw the box dye left on his bathroom counter.
Instinctively you squeezed your legs together, alleviating some of the need to touch yourself. You felt your heart race and a shiver run down your spine.
“Fuck me, please Papa,” you sighed, breath trembling.
“Mm?” he said, glancing up at you between your breasts with a glint in his eyes. He kissed all over your chest, up your neck and finally, your lips. “Is la mia principessa ready for her Papa to fuck her brains out, hm?”
“Yes Papa, please,” you said, still in a breathy whisper. “Fuck me.”
He nodded his head towards the bathroom and glanced over. “Go get a condom and meet me in bed. I’ll get the lube.”
“Why are there none in our nightstand drawer?”
“‘Our?’”
“Shit. You know what I meant.”
He grinned. “Ti stai dimenticando? We used them all last night and I didn’t have time to take some more out.”
Slightly embarrassed at your gaffe, you made your way into the bathroom and started opening drawers. “Where did you put the box?”
“Bottom drawer!” he called out.
Did he think differently of you now? Would he think you were too presumptuous and want to call the whole thing off? Or potentially, were you just overthinking things as usual? “Found it! Oh fuck, shit!”
“Sorella?” He sounded concerned and rushed over to find you on your hands and knees kneeling near the toilet.
“Almost got it!” You had dropped the roll of condom wrappers behind the toilet and had wedged yourself between it and the vanity. “Help me, Terzo!”
“Ah, I see now,” he said slyly. “Call for me in a panic just so you can entrap me.”
“What? Terzo, no, I really do need help, I drop- ”
“Sì, I can help,” he said, kneeling down behind you, his cock right up against your ass.
“It’s just, argh!”
“Argh!” he imitated you, running his hands all along your body.
“It’s right there I can’t - reach - !”
“Has anyone told you how sexy you look with your ass in the air in candy cane tights?”
You rolled your eyes but you knew he couldn’t see. “Er, no - um, thank you. But I dropped the condoms behind the toilet.”
He craned his neck to see. “Ah. This is quite the pickle we are in. You with your hand behind the toilet and your ass against my cock.”
“No, I believe it’s your cock against my ass.”
“What am I to do, tesorina? What should a Papa do when finding his lover in a compromising position, hm?” He leaned down and trailed kisses along your back, momentarily freezing your arm from the continued search of the condoms.
“Fuck…” you whispered, feeling his mouth move further south and his hands finding their way around your waist.
“What’s that, bella? You think Papa should fuck you? You called me in such a panic earlier that I did not bring the lube…mmm, what should we do?” he said, kissing you just above your ass. “Is la mia principessa ready?”
Your body ached with desire. You needed him inside you. He trailed his finger along your tights-covered behind, poking around where your entrance was. “Darling, I think your tights are just a little wet. Let’s see just how wet you are inside.” He gripped the fabric and you heard it ripping apart.
You let out a surprised gasp as the chill air hit your warm, now exposed nether regions. He entered you with a finger and your body shuddered against him as you whimpered quietly.
“Oh yes,” he said in an amused tone. “You are very ready.” He slid out and up to your clit, playing with it gently as you moaned and rocked your body back and forth to feel the friction against his fingers. “So responsive. Una così brava ragazza.”
“Please, Papa,” you said under your accelerated breath. “Please fuck me.”
“Don’t worry amore,” he said, reaching over you and grabbing the sleeve of condoms that you were having trouble getting just moments before. “I will.” He tore off one and ripped it open.
You readjusted yourself on the tile floor so you wouldn’t bang your head against the toilet or the side of the vanity as you heard the crinkle of the wrapper and the clinking of the little bell still attached to his dick.
“Oh FUCK!” you both said in unison as he entered you. He slammed into your dripping cunt with such ease, you felt him bottom out immediately. The tingle of the mistletoe against your clit heightened the sensation.
Clink! Clink! Clink! Clink! In and out, in and out. You both moaned each other’s names in pure, unadulterated passion.
“Ah - merda Sorella, you turn me into a teenager again. Fucking on the floor out of sheer desperation for one another.” Now he was so deep inside you the bell muffled against your body. CLUNK. CLUNK. CLUNK.
“So - mmm! - you’re d-desperate for me?” you said teasingly against the cold tile.
“La mia diavoletta pensa di essere così intelligente, eh? È ora che chiudi la bocca.” With that he fucked into you so hard, so fast, you couldn’t say another word. He pushed your head against the floor roughly, your cheek pressed against the cool marble so hard you could feel the grout indent. He nearly knocked the breath out of you as he hit your g-spot perfectly each time, a relentless grip on the back of your head.
“Ohhh - !” you moaned as he rammed into you over and over. CLUNKCLUNKCLUNKCLUNK. He was thrusting faster, riding out his orgasm, his nails digging deeper into your hips.
“Fuck - I’m going to - cum - Sorella - !” He pounded into you, tapering off his speed as he came, his cock twitching a final time before he slumped over your back, breathing heavily.
“Satanas,” he breathed, his chest heaving wildly as he pulled out, your body shuddering under him at the loss. You heard the snap of latex and the condom hitting the trash can liner.
You turned around and sat down, leaning against the toilet. You watched him untie the mistletoe and take it off, tossing it aside. “So how was it, with that?” you asked, nodding towards the discarded plant.
“Honestly? It was a little itchy. It might just be a novelty.” He tossed himself on his back against the floor. He looked at you, his chest still rising and falling from being out of breath. “How was it for you?”
“Honestly? It was a little itchy,” you repeated. You both smiled and laughed at the absurdity of the situation.
“Come here Sorella, I did not intend to leave you wanting. Hop onto Santa’s lap.”
You crawled over to him and straddled his lap, gazing into his eyes.
“What do you want this year for being such a good little girl?” He asked, caressing your arms and looking at your breasts before flicking his eyes up into yours.
“I want…endless kisses…and a mind-blowing orgasm,” you said, leaning down to kiss him.
He returned the smooch. “Mm, I did not know a present for you would also be a present for me. Come closer and sit on Santa’s face…that’s it, Satanas yes please.”
You moved up his body until you were straddling his face, then delicately lowered your body on him, doing your best to move your skirt out of the way.
He sputtered, spitting out the tulle from his mouth and pulling your hips towards his face again. He batted at the layers of fabric, cursing in Italian, before finding your cunt.
Your eyelids flitted closed as your lips parted in a silent “oh.” He took your clit in his mouth and sucked on it between his lips. He alternated between that and flicking your sensitive bud with the tip of his tongue. You looked down to gaze in his eyes but his face was completely hidden under a green tutu.
You began to buck your hips against his face as he used the flat of his tongue, building up the friction and feeling yourself closing in on orgasm. He switched up and deepened the suction on your clit, flicking his tongue against you simultaneously.
“Oh fuck Terzo - fuck, I’m so close!” You rocked back and forth as you pinched your nipples, heightening the sensation.
His fingernails dug into your hips again as he sped up his ministrations. Grabbing ahold of your waist, he slid you along his mouth faster and faster.
“Oh, Terzo!” you cried out in ecstasy, trembling on your knees above him as you came hard and fast in his mouth. He didn’t let up the motions or the intensity until you pulled away, giggling from the overstimulation. You climbed off of him and sat down next to him, both smiling at one another.
“How are you feeling? Good?” he asked, stroking your thigh.
You nodded your head. “Yes, very. But can I lay down next time? I’ve been on my knees an awful long time.” You both laughed.
“There’s Papa’s little hoe hoe hoe,” he said with a devilish grin. “Of course, amore mio. Anything for you.”
You held onto his hand, playfully caressing all his fingers. “It’s been a very good Christmas so far,” you remarked.
“Mmm. And you haven’t even opened your presents yet.”
“There’s more?”
“What, you thought this was it? No Sorella, go look under the tree.”
You eyed him suspiciously as you stood up, legs still a little shaky. You walked out of the bathroom and into the living room.
You hadn’t noticed the presents under the tree earlier, but there were a few. A lot, actually. Somehow even your gifts for him were under there. One of the ghouls or housekeeping staff must have moved them for you.
One caught your attention - a gold envelope poking out from the middle branches of the tree. You reached inside the tree, accidentally sending the package spilling onto the floor. Two plane tickets splayed out on the floor.
You picked them up in wonder - your name was at the top of one, and his on the other. You walked in a daze over to him.
“You did not truly think I would leave you with just my cock for Christmas, did you?” he said, following you out of the bathroom and now leaning against the wall. “I love you, principessa. I call you princess because to me you are. My sweet little thing. I want to give you the world, my world…would Italy be a good start?”
You flung your arms around him, tears in your eyes. “Yes, Terzo. I think that will be an amazing start.”
[Stay tuned for a continuation of this story!]

CPD Gala
Tumblr media
*GIF NOT MINE, full credit to the owner*
Requested?: Nope! Wanted to get something posted now I'm back :)
• Warnings: N/A
• Summary: Jay reminds you of the annual CPD gala but knows it's not your idea of fun
Words: 1,321
• A/N : I’m not gonna apologise again for being gone as god knows how many of these I post with that intro but I’m hoping to be back in the swing of things as I have a tonne of requests to get through and I don’t want anyone thinking their request is being ignored as I promise it isn’t!
Meh I don’t love it as I defo need to get back into the comforts of my writing (its gone so downhill lmao) but here we are..
Hope you enjoy🥰
****
Jay knew you weren’t the biggest fan of social occasions, so when you happily agreed to attend the annual CPD gala he had invited you along to, he was beyond surprised.
“I mean, I’ll ask her but don’t get your hopes up” he had joked with Kim a few days prior, following endless begging from her after finding out Hailey wouldn’t be there and wanting a familiar female face there.
“Tell her I’ll by her drinks all night” she quickly exclaims as Jay chuckles, eyes still firmly on the road as they drive back to the district.
“You do realise it’s a free bar?”
“Oh” she huffs, “more reason for her not to say no then” she happily shrugs, sinking back into her seat with a look of confidence.
As much as Jay could go on for hours about how he knew you better than anyone, least of all Kim who you had only met on a few occasions it was like talking to a brick wall sometimes and he didn’t have the patience.
You and Jay were homebodies and this suited you perfectly, he would come home after long shifts and you would still more than likely be sat in the same spot he left you at that morning. Countless half empty mugs filled with coffee that was now ice cold, papers scattered all over the table and floor with your eyes pinned firmly on the screen in front of you.
He would convince you to call it a night, you’d either order in food or you’d wander into the kitchen together to whip up dinner whilst he told you about his day. Depends on what you had, you’d either quickly tidy up the table as best you could or you both just slumped on the sofa with the pizza box balanced on your laps as you watched some trash TV.
You would always fall asleep before Jay, he would get too into the show you had put on and then couldn’t finish until he had got to the end whereas you probably wasn’t paying too much attention in the first place so would easily doze off to only be awoken with a light kiss to your head when Jay has turned the TV off.
It worked like clockwork, some may say boring but it just worked for you and you couldn’t picture it any other way. You were each others comfort, the feeling of home.
***
Jay had bought up the idea of going with him to the gala the previous year but you had only been dating for a few months and hasn’t told many people so you decided against it in mutual agreement.
The truth was it hadn’t left you mind since that exact day he casually asked you over dinner last year
“would be fun you know? “ he raised his eyebrows as he took a sip from his drink “having you on my arm all nice and dressed up” he teased
No Jay, it wouldn’t be fun.
Social outings weren’t your thing, you had a close family and the relationship you had with Jay and that was more than enough. An evening spent in Molly’s was something you had to build yourself up to, let alone a huge party with tonnes of people you had never met before.
Every week the thought would re-enter your mind on whether or not he would ask again this year, secretly hoping he would’ve forgot or they had a case on which meant they couldn’t go. You knew it was in August as Kim had mentioned it one night at Molly’s so as the month got closer, the more it played on your mind.
You even forced yourself one weekend to go dress shopping for the occasion to try and get yourself in the right mindset of being there to support Jay, after all you were beyond honoured he would want you by his side but sometimes the voice in your head would have a way of getting through.
“You know the CPD gala is this weekend?” Jay broke the silence, still chewing on his pizza as he flicked through the channels.
Shit
“I know it’s not your thing so I’m thinking of just third wheeling Kim and Adam, do you think they’ll mind?” he joked but you could tell there was something in his voice that had a twinge of disappointment.
“I’ll come with you”
Before you could register your voice to your brain, the words came out of your mouth.
“Baby, you do-“ he began but you were quick to cut him off in reassurance, placing a finger onto his lips as you smiled
“It doesn’t matter, you want me to be there so I’ll be there”
You placed a light kiss to his lips, the confusion plastered across his face but the light behind his eyes showing through in a gleam.
“Just promise me you will think about it first, don’t do this for me. You know I’d rather stay at home with you anyway but there isn’t many of us going to Voight wants us to make our presence known bla bla bla”
“I’ve already bought a dress” you lied, knowing it would be the thing to distract him
The chewing on his mouthful slowed, scanning your face with a slight narrow to his eyes as he tilted his head “what does it look like?”
“It’s just a little black dress, that alright with you?” you suggested, playful tone as he pouted his lips and nodded with a sign of approval “how comes I haven’t seen this dress?”
You lifted the pizza box from his lap whilst you began to tidy, scanning down to see him lift his hips to get more comfortable, slinging one arm to rest on the top of his head whilst the other clutched at the bottle of beer.
The gaze that was piercing into your back felt like it could burn a hole, the extra swing in your hips and swish of your ponytail was giving you the confidence you needed.
Placing the pizza box down on the side you turned to see Jay towering over you, one arm resting against the door frame with the other resting low in his sweatpant pocket.
“Seriously, let me see this dress”
You tried to keep your composure, acting like you couldn’t see the smile he was trying to hide despite the corners of his lips already turning up with his every word.
His eyes were pinned to you as you picked off a piece off fluff from his tshirt, following each move as you let your hand rest onto his chest.
Gazing up at him, innocence in your eyes as you could feel his heart pounding beneath your touch amongst the silence.
“You’re not allowed to see it until the Gala”
He huffed, rolling his eyes whilst running a hand across his forehead in stress
“but the guy in the store said I looked like a million bucks”
His eyes widened, smirk spreading across his lips as you felt his hand drop to your hip as he cleared his throat “did he now?”
You nodded, feeling his grip tighten as he let out a huff in laughter which you knew he didn’t mean in amusement.
Before you could think of what to come back with, his arm was slung over your waist, picking you up like you were a piece of paper and tossing you onto his shoulder. Marching towards the bedroom, not letting the fists you were prodding into his back stopping him.
“Jay?! What are you doing!” you exclaimed, being laid on the bed as he pinned his arms either side of your head to stop you from getting away from him. Dark glint in his eyes as he roamed about your body, taking in every inch as he admired.
“I think you need to show me this dress baby”

Requested by @haocovr: Imagine being a doctor at Chicago Med and in love with Ethan Choi
"Good morning Dr. Choi." You greeted as you walked into Med. Ethan was already moving around quickly and reading over a chart in his hand.
"Morning Dr.[Y/N]." He smiled at you quickly before ducking into Trauma 2 to check on his patient.
You smiled back, even though he wasn't looking. It was such a small thing but his greeting was the best part of your morning.
Maggie approached you, a knowing smile and no chart to be seen.
"What are you looking at me like that for?" You asked, even though with Maggie you knew there was no point in trying to deny what she was seeing. She saw everything and that included seeing right through your innocent façade.
"You know exactly why." She said. "You've got to make your move. Go for it, be assertive."
"Maggie," you sighed, "he probably doesn't even-"
"Feel the same?" She interrupted. "You both have comedically bad timing. Every time one of you does something cute, the other blushes but you look away so you just don't see it. He likes you. He's probably afraid to admit it, but he does. So, talk to him. Tell him how you feel."
You looked at her. She was so confident in her assessment and you trusted her judgement on about a million other things, but you struggled to believe her here. Ethan? Liked you too? It just seemed so unlikely.
You went through the day, having only brief interactions with Ethan but each time you swore Maggie lingered around just to see if you would commit. Of course, when discussing patient care, especially in front of a patient, there weren't many opportunities for the topic to come up.
Finally, your day was wrapping up and wouldn't you know it, so was Ethan's. You were on your way to grab your things when Maggie caught your eye and gave you a look and a pushing hand motion followed by a heart. You weren't sure whether to roll your eyes or blush.
Ethan was gathering his things as well when you walked in.
"Long day?" He asked.
"I've certainly had longer. How about you?"
"Not bad, all things considered." He paused. "What are you doing tonight, got any plans?"
"Nothing yet. Why do you ask?" You asked. Ethan always seemed so confident and you really hoped he would make the first move. Maggie's pep talk had helped but you were still uncertain.
Was that a blush on Ethan's face? No, surely you were just imagining it. Ethan didn't blush. Sometimes he would smile and look away but he wasn't the blushing kind. Not that you'd watched his reactions that closely before.
"Curiosity." He finally answered simply.
"Ah." You said, disappointed but trying to hide it. You took your coat and wallet from their places and got ready to leave quietly. You considered walking out the door without saying anything else but Maggie's voice in your head told you not to.
"Do you want to go to Molly's?" You suggested, turning from the door to look at Ethan. He looked surprised at first but then smiled.
"I would like that a lot."
So, the two of you headed to the bar, greeting the firefighters as you sat at a table to give yourselves some more space to talk.
And talk you did. It was a little awkward at first, Ethan was not naturally much of a small talker and you didn't want to dive in too heavy right from the start. But from a bit of work chat, you got to spin off onto some tangents and exchange stories that had you sitting on the edge of your seat to almost doubling over laughing.
After a couple beers, Ethan finally asked you the question you'd been worried about.
"So, what made you invite me to Molly's tonight?" He asked. He certainly hadn't minded the invitation at all and he loved talking to you, but it had been a bit of a surprise.
You hesitated, unsure of how much of your feelings you wanted to lead with.
"Maggie suggested I ask actually. She thought it might be good for us to hang out."
Ethan raised an eyebrow and tried to suppress a smile.
"Funny. She told me a similar thing today."
"Oh did she?" You asked, now raising your own eyebrow. She had played you both like a fiddle. "What exactly did she tell you?"
Ethan studied you for a moment. His face was handsome you thought as he focused on your eyes.
"She told me that I needed to stop missing my moment and take the dive."
"Maggie used the phrase 'take the dive?' Huh." You mused before processing the more important part of what Ethan had been saying. "What moment was she worried about?"
You wanted to believe it would be a romantic moment and everything was leading you there. Your stomach was in your throat and you knew it would just plummet if he said it was purely platonic.
"Apparently I haven't been as subtle about how I feel as I thought. She said you weren't subtle either, I was just not looking hard enough."
How he felt. You felt a warmth in your chest as you could relax now.
"Maggie was rather confident you liked me. And she read me like a book too."
Ethan laughed and he was able to relax again.
"So, you have feelings for me too?" He confirmed.
"I like you, I really do."
You both smiled. How could you not?

Order's Tension
Pairings: Older!Remus Lupin x Fem!Reader
Plot:
Warnings: Small angst, fluff
A/N: I adore Tonks, I really do. BUT I needed to use her as the plot. Please forgive me!
________________________________________________________
As you step through the door of 12 Grimmauld Place, the air crackles with a mixture of tension and camaraderie. The dimly lit hallway is filled with the hushed voices of fellow members of the Order of the Phoenix. Your heart pounds with a mixture of excitement and apprehension as you take in the faces of the brave witches and wizards gathered for a common cause.
Spotting familiar faces, you exchange nods and greetings with the others. The room is alive with the energy of reunion, and you're pleasantly surprised to find yourself embraced by old friends and allies. Among them is your former professor, Remus Lupin, who looks up from a conversation and locks eyes with you. A warm smile crosses his face, and you feel a sense of comfort.
Determined to catch up with Remus, you navigate through the crowd, making your way to him. As you approach, a voice interrupts your thoughts. "Remus, darling!" Turning, you find Tonks rushing towards him, a vivacious energy surrounding her. She wraps her arms around him, and you can't help but feel a pang of annoyance. It seems Tonks is as attention-seeking as ever.
Suppressing your feelings, you take a seat across from Remus, who sends you a sympathetic look. "It's been too long," he says, genuine warmth in his voice. You smile back, cherishing the opportunity to reconnect with someone who had a profound impact on your life.
The meeting begins, and you find yourself engrossed in discussions about the dark times ahead. Remus contributes valuable insights, and you're reminded of why you admired him as a teacher. However, as the hours drag on, impatience builds within you, and you can't help but squirm in your seat.
Finally, Sirius Black, the host of the gathering, decides to adjourn the meeting. "It's late, and we've got a big day tomorrow. You're all welcome to stay the night." The offer hangs in the air, and you notice a few members excusing themselves. However, you, Remus, Tonks, and the Weasley couple decide to stay.
With a genuine offer to help, you approach Molly Weasley, who's bustling around preparing beds for the night. As you and Molly set up the sleeping arrangements, you steal glances at Remus, who is engaged in conversation with Tonks. She's practically hanging on his every word, and you can't help but roll your eyes discreetly.
The contrast between your earnest conversation with Molly and the playful interaction between Tonks and Remus is palpable. As the night wears on, you can't shake the feeling that Tonks is deliberately monopolizing Remus's attention. Despite the annoyance simmering within you, you maintain a pleasant demeanor, determined not to let it ruin the camaraderie of the Order of the Phoenix.
While you and Molly set up the beds, it becomes evident that Molly, with her keen observational skills, has picked up on the undercurrents in the room. She glances over at you, a knowing twinkle in her eyes as she tucks a strand of graying hair behind her ear.
"Oh dear, I couldn't help but notice Remus and Tonks. She seems to fancy him quite a lot," she says, her tone filled with slight mischief.
You pause for a moment, surprised by Molly's perceptiveness. "Oh, yeah, I noticed that too. I wonder how that happened," you reply with a casual smile, attempting to downplay the situation.
Molly, however, isn't easily fooled. She continues arranging pillows, her eyes narrowing playfully. "I doubt for very long. Remus is a good man, and you've always had a soft spot for him, haven't you?"
Blushing slightly, you nod, realizing that Molly sees more than you thought. "Yes, well, it's been a while since we've seen each other. But, it's not like that. We're just friends."
Molly raises an eyebrow. "Just friends, hm? Are you sure there's nothing you're not saying?"
You sigh. "Okay, fine. Maybe I'm a little jealous. It just seems like she's always trying to get his attention. It's rather annoying, if you ask me," you huff, crossing your arms.
"Ah, jealousy is a tricky emotion, especially when feelings are involved. But, dear, let me assure you, Remus is quite interested in you," Molly says understandingly.
"Really?" you ask, surprised
Molly smiles. "Yes, really. I've seen the way he looks at you, the way he's been trying to seek your company. Give it some time, dear. Things have a way of falling into place."
You smile wide before it falls again. "It's just been years since I've seen him. I haven't seen him since I left Hogwarts. I mean, between you and me, I've always had a wee crush on him. But he was my teacher. It's kind of taboo and all."
Molly nods understandingly. "I get that, I do. But you're not his student anymore. You're a young woman and well, you can't help who you love. What's ten years anyway?"
"Thanks, Molly. I appreciate your wisdom," you reply, a small smile forming on your face.
"It's what mothers do, my dear. Now, why don't you go and enjoy your time with Remus?" Molly says, patting your hand.
Grateful for your talk with Molly, you take a deep breath, determined to enjoy the camaraderie of the evening and not let the complicated dynamics distract you from the greater purpose that brought everyone together in the first place.
With Molly's wise words echoing in your mind, you join the others in the common room. The atmosphere is lively, filled with laughter and snippets of conversation. You decide to focus on the shared camaraderie and the bonds forged in the face of a common enemy.
As the night progresses, you find yourself engaged in conversations with Sirius and Arthur. Remus joins in, occasionally stealing glances in your direction. Tonks, on the other hand, seems to be oblivious to anything other than her playful banter with Sirius and the others. You can't help but appreciate Molly's advice as you navigate the delicate social dynamics.
You finally find time to exchange polite small talk with Remus. Tonks, however, seems to be on a mission to keep Remus's attention solely on her. As you catch her giving you a sly smirk, you decide to gracefully excuse yourself, claiming fatigue from the long day. With a polite nod, you make your way to your room and begin to prepare for bed.
Alone in the quiet room, you take a moment to collect your thoughts. Determined to stay focused on the task at hand, you make your way to the kitchen for a glass of water.
In the dimly lit kitchen, you find Remus, who has seemingly taken a moment to escape the chatter as well. He offers you a small smile, and you reciprocate, grateful for the chance to have a quiet moment away from the prying eyes.
"I appreciate your insights during the meeting," you say, striking up a conversation. "It's comforting to know we have experienced minds like yours on our side."
Remus nods, his eyes reflecting a mix of weariness and determination. "We're all in this together. It's important to share our knowledge and support each other."
The conversation flows naturally, and you find solace in Remus's company. The weight of the looming battle is temporarily lifted as you discuss memories, experiences, and the shared purpose that binds everyone in the Order of the Phoenix.
As you return to your room, Remus follows suit, the soft glow of the dimly lit corridor casting shadows on his tired but kind face. The air is filled with an unspoken tension, and you decide to break it with a light-hearted comment.
"So, what's the story with you and Tonks?" you ask, feigning casual curiosity. "You two seem quite… close."
Remus lets out a sigh, his expression briefly clouded. "Tonks can be a handful, to say the least. She means well, but sometimes she doesn't quite grasp the subtleties of a situation."
You raise an eyebrow, detecting a hint of annoyance in his tone. "Is that so? What subtleties are we talking about, Professor Lupin?"
He chuckles, running a hand through his graying hair. "Let's just say she has a way of being, well, persistent."
You decide to playfully tease him. "Persistent? Or is it that she finds no one else in the room more interesting than our dear Remus Lupin?"
A sly smile graces his lips, and he turns to face you. "Well, I can't deny that there's something captivating about the company I find myself in tonight."
You blush at the unexpected compliment, but quickly recover, deciding to steer the conversation in a lighter direction. "Is that your way of saying I'm saving you from Tonks's overzealous company?"
Remus laughs, a warm sound that fills the room. "Let's just say you're a welcome reprieve."
Emboldened by his response, you decide to be more direct. "Well, I must say, Professor Lupin, I always did find you quite handsome and charming."
Remus's eyes widen in surprise, and a faint blush creeps across his cheeks. "Flattery will get you everywhere," he replies with a playful twinkle in his eye.
The exchange lingers for a moment, and you find yourself caught between embarrassment and amusement. Remus, however, seems to be enjoying the banter. "You've grown bolder over the years, haven't you?" he teases.
Attempting to brush off your embarrassment, you give a shy smile. "Perhaps. But only when faced with particularly charming professors."
Remus laughs again, the sound echoing through the room. "Well, in that case, I'm honored to be the subject of your boldness."
The moment lingers, and for a brief instant, the complexities of the world outside the room fade away. In the quiet of Grimmauld Place, surrounded by the past and the uncertainties of the future, you share a genuine, lighthearted connection with Remus Lupin, finding peace in the midst of the storm.
The playful banter between you and Remus reaches a sweet crescendo, and as the laughter subsides, a moment of quiet intimacy hangs in the air. Without a word, you find yourselves drawn closer, the shared understanding and unspoken connection sparking between you. In the soft glow of the room, you can feel the warmth of Remus's presence.
As if guided by an invisible force, your lips meet in a stolen, gentle kiss—a whisper that speaks volumes. The world outside the room disappears for that fleeting moment, leaving only the soft exchange of affection between two souls who have weathered their own storms.
Breaking away, you both share a tender gaze, emotions dancing in the quiet spaces between you. Remus, with a faint smile on his lips, breaks the silence. "Goodnight," he murmurs, his voice carrying a mixture of gratitude and something more profound.
"Goodnight, Remus," you reply, a softness in your voice that reflects the newfound connection.
He bids you one last lingering look before retreating to his own room, leaving you with a heart that beats a little faster and a mind that swirls with the enchantment of the stolen kiss. As you settle into your bed, the echoes of the evening wrap around you, and you drift into a peaceful slumber, a sense of contentment settling in your heart amid the complexities of the Order of the Phoenix.
The early morning light filters through the dusty curtains of Grimmauld Place, casting a soft glow on the worn furniture and the quiet stillness that envelops the house. You find yourself awake before the rest of the Order, the remnants of last night's stolen kiss lingering in the recesses of your thoughts.
As you quietly make your way to the kitchen, the familiar creaks of the old floorboards echo through the silent corridors. The kitchen, though dimly lit, feels warm and inviting. You decide to prepare a simple breakfast and tea for everyone, a small gesture to foster a sense of unity among the diverse members of the Order.
Lost in the comforting routine of preparing food, you're absorbed in the task when you hear a soft, sleepy voice behind you. "Early riser, are we?"
Startled, you turn around to find Remus Lupin standing in the doorway, his tousled hair and tired eyes giving him a charming, disheveled appearance. He offers you a half-smile, the warmth in his gaze telling of the shared connection from the night before.
"I hope you don't mind," you say, returning the smile. "I thought a bit of breakfast might lift everyone's spirits before the day ahead."
Remus steps into the kitchen, the scent of brewing tea and the promise of a new day filling the air. "It's a thoughtful gesture," he remarks, watching you with appreciation. "Mind if I join you?"
"Of course not," you reply, motioning to a chair. "I was just making some tea. Sit down, I'll bring you a cup."
As you prepare a cup of tea for Remus, you notice the book you were reading the night before resting on the table. It seems he's caught sight of it as well. "Interesting choice of reading material," he comments with a curious glint in his eyes.
You chuckle, handing him the cup of tea. "I find comfort in the worlds of literature. Helps keep things in perspective, you know?"
Remus takes a sip, his eyes never leaving yours. "I couldn't agree more. Sometimes, a good book is the best company."
As you settle into a comfortable silence, you share a moment of quiet companionship. The kitchen becomes a sanctuary, a haven of connection and understanding amid the chaos of the outside world. The aroma of breakfast fills the air, and you continue to chat, the morning light weaving a tapestry of shared moments between you.
As the rest of the Order begins to stir, drawn by the scent of food and the promise of a new day, you and Remus exchange a knowing look—a silent acknowledgment of the connection that has blossomed between you.
The morning at unfolds with an unspoken understanding between you and Remus. Whether it's sharing glances across the table, exchanging quiet words, or simply being present in each other's company, the connection deepens with every passing moment. The chemistry is undeniable, and it doesn't go unnoticed, particularly by Tonks.
As you and Remus engage in conversation, Tonks's annoyance becomes increasingly apparent. Her eyes shoot daggers in your direction, and a tension simmers beneath the surface. Unable to contain her frustration any longer, she approaches you when Remus steps away for a moment.
"Couldn't help but notice you and Remus getting cozy," Tonks says, her tone edged with a mixture of irritation and thinly veiled jealousy.
Taken aback, you respond cautiously, "We're just friends, Tonks. What's wrong with that?"
Tonks scoffs, a bitter smile playing on her lips. "Friends? Right. You may be fooling him, but you're not fooling me. I've known him for years, and I can tell when he's interested."
A surge of frustration and anger rises within you. "Tonks, you and I are both too old for your assumptions. We have more pressing matters at hand."
Tonks narrows her eyes, unconvinced. "Don't play innocent. I've seen the way he looks at you. And I won't let you take him away from me."
You feel your patience waning, and you respond with a firm tone, "Tonks, you can't claim ownership over someone's feelings. Remus is his own person, and he can decide who he wants to be around. It's not a competition."
Tonks, however, remains defiant. "Well, maybe it should be. I won't let you come between us."
Your frustration boils over, and you reply, "Tonks, I won't participate in some petty rivalry. If Remus has feelings for you, let him decide. But I won't apologize for forming a genuine connection with someone. It's not a crime."
Before Tonks can retort, Remus returns to the room, sensing the tension. He looks between the two of you, concern furrowing his brow. "Is everything alright?"
Tonks shoots you one last glare before forcing a smile. "Just a friendly chat. Right, Y/N?"
You nod, a forced smile mirroring hers. "Just a chat."
Remus senses the lingering tension in the room as Tonks departs, and his gaze shifts between you and the door she just walked through. His brow furrows, a hint of concern in his eyes, as he takes a step closer to you.
"Everything okay?" he asks, his voice soft and filled with genuine worry.
You offer a reassuring smile, attempting to downplay the confrontation with Tonks. "Just a minor disagreement, nothing to worry about."
Remus nods, but there's a flicker of understanding in his eyes. He's well aware of Tonks's feelings, having navigated the delicate balance of their friendship for quite some time. His gaze lingers on you for a moment longer, a silent acknowledgment of the connection that has blossomed between you.
"I hope it didn't ruin your morning," Remus says, attempting to shift the focus away from the uncomfortable encounter.
You shake your head. "Not at all. Let's not let it overshadow the time we've spent catching up."
Remus offers a small, appreciative smile. "I couldn't agree more."
As the day unfolds, you and Remus continue to share moments of intimacy. Tonks keeps her distance, seemingly resigned but still casting glances your way. Remus, however, appears unfazed by the situation, choosing instead to focus on the genuine connection he feels with you.
Later that afternoon, as the activities of the day wind down, Remus seeks you out in a quieter corner of Grimmauld Place. The air is heavy with the weight of unspoken words, and Remus, with a contemplative expression, finally addresses the underlying tension.
"I need you to know that I've always been aware of Tonks's feelings," he admits, his gaze steady. "But I've tried to make it clear that I don't reciprocate those feelings. It's just… complicated."
You nod, understanding the complexities of the situation. "I don't want to complicate things for you, Remus. If you need space or if you want to address things with Tonks, I'll understand."
He appreciates your understanding, but there's a sincerity in his eyes that surprises you. "The truth is, I've always valued our friendship. Tonks is a dear friend, but I can't deny the feelings I feel for you."
Your heart skips a beat at his honesty, and you take a moment to process his words. "Remus, I don't want to come between you and your friendships. But I appreciate your honesty."
Remus reaches out to gently touch your arm, a reassuring gesture. "I've spent too long denying myself the chance for genuine connection. I won't let fear dictate my choices anymore, especially not now."
A few weeks of stolen glances and sweet kisses go by and the morning unfolds in the cozy chaos of the kitchen at Grimmauld Place. The aroma of breakfast fills the air as you and Remus share a quiet moment, lost in each other's company. Remus's arms encircle you, creating a sense of warmth and security that transcends the tumultuous world outside.
As you lean against the counter, sipping tea, Remus places a gentle kiss on your forehead, his touch a silent affirmation of the connection you share. The early morning light spills through the windows, casting a soft glow on the intimate tableau.
Unbeknownst to you, Tonks enters the kitchen, her hair still a vibrant shade of bubblegum pink. However, the moment she lays eyes on you and Remus, her face contorts with a mix of anger and frustration. In an instant, her hair morphs into a fiery shade of red, a clear reflection of her emotions.
Remus, ever perceptive, glances over his shoulder, catching Tonks's eye. The tension in the room becomes palpable as she glares at the two of you, her expression a mix of jealousy and resentment.
You exchange a knowing look with Remus, and he lets out a sigh, as if anticipating the storm that's about to brew. Tonks, unable to contain her emotions, finally speaks up with an edge in her voice.
"Well, this is cozy," she remarks, her eyes flickering between you and Remus. "Am I interrupting something?"
Remus, unfazed, releases a soft chuckle. "Just enjoying a quiet morning, Tonks. Care to join us?"
Her response is a sharp huff as she crosses her arms, clearly dissatisfied with the casual dismissal. "Don't mind me. Enjoy your cozy morning."
As Tonks storms out of the kitchen, her hair remains a fiery red, reflecting the turmoil within. You exchange a glance with Remus, who gives you a wry smile, acknowledging the awkwardness of the situation.
"Jealousy doesn't suit her well," he whispers with a playful twinkle in his eye.
You stifle a giggle, appreciating the levity he brings to the moment. "She'll get over it eventually."
And with that, you and Remus continue your quiet morning, holding onto the stolen moments of intimacy that bring solace in the midst of the brewing storms—both internal and external. The complexities of love and connection within the Order of the Phoenix persist, but for now, you find comfort in each other's arms, dismissing the fleeting storm of Tonks's jealousy with a shared smile and a knowing glance.

Can I ask for Elphelt finding her S/O having a real bad sore throat after hearing what was supposed to be them trying to mimic her singing, but S/O tsunderly refuses to admit it?
(Guilty Gear: Strive) Elphet's S/O getting a sore throat trying to sing like her
I can only sing the parts of Extras where Molly isn't going pure death metal.
...BUCKLE UP! RUB-A-DUB-A-DUB YEAH YEAH, TOO LATE MY BABY!-
Tumblr media
Elphelt's head leans in from the crack through S/O's door, with a bright smile on her face as usual.
(Elphelt) "S/O~! Are you okay?"
S/O is lying on their bed, fingers around their throat as they nod yes, voice extremely hoarse.
(S/O) "Y-Yeah...my voice is gone today for some reason..."
S/O noticed that Elphelt was still smiling, causing them to raise an eyebrow. By now, she would have flown into a full panic and almost smother them in medicine and bush dog plushies.
Instead, there's a cheeky grin.
(Elphelt) "Some reason, you say?"
Elphelt puts one finger on her chin as she shimmies closer, eyebrows raising constantly.
(Elphelt) "Sooooooome reason?"
Before S/O could question what she meant, she leaned in extremely close.
(Elphelt) "For the record, the lyric goes 'Too late', not 'Do it'."
S/O's eyes widen at the implication as her eyebrow wiggling intensifies, making them look away as their cheeks started burning.
(S/O) "W-What are you implying...?"
(Elphelt) "Come on, no need to deny it! I heard all last night you trying to reach my low growls! It was really cute!"
(S/O) "Psh, in your dreams..."
(Elphelt) "It's a dream come true! If you want, I can give you proper voice coaching! I know humans have some issues trying to-"
(S/O) "I!...O-Ow, voice!"
Seeing them pout, Elphelt hugs them with a wide smile, her infectious postivity making it impossible for S/O to continue looking that mad.
(S/O) "I admit, you're really talented at singing..."
(Elphelt) "Hm? Sorry, I couldn't hear you."
S/O starts pouting again, but Elphelt genuinely meant that.
She was too distracted with her admiration to notice their muttering.

Hi! Could You write a Jamie x Kent!reader? Like roy finds out when phoebe recognizes Jamie in a cute way,and he loses his mind on reader and Jamie, but phoebe saves the day? Thanks and best wishes✨
Got it! Here ya go! Thank you for requesting 💙
Tumblr media
take your time while you’re mine
Roy is your brother. Molly is your sister. Phoebe is your niece. You’re a Kent, and (in your opinion) you’re the worst one. Roy’s all about football and coaching and being grumpy, Molly is a badass doctor/mom, and Phoebe is, well, Phoebe. She’s way cooler than any of you, and she’s only eight.
You feel like you’ve been clawing and scratching your way to the top ever since you were younger, trailing after Roy and Molly.
You forged your own path, acquiring university degrees like it was your job. You let work consume you, traversing the world in a journey of self-discovery until Molly called you one day, with the news that Phoebe’s dad was gone for good. She didn’t ask, but you answered anyway. You dropped everything and flew back to London.
You’ve been around ever since, changing diapers, taking Phoebe to school, going to Roy’s football matches. You’d settled into your own skin a little more, and although it wasn’t a path you chose, it was a path you loved.
Your favorite was hanging around after matches, waiting for Roy to drive you home. You got to talk to his teammates and joke around with them about Roy’s gruff demeanor. There was only one you didn’t like. Jamie Tartt.
You’d have to agree with Roy’s assessment of this one, although Molly banned all talk of Jamie in the house. All it would take is for one of you to start and then you and Roy would just go at it, about how he was a little prick and far too self-righteous and how his stupid, awful hair was nothing compared to his stupid, awful face.
You were glad when he was kicked off the team.
You were upset when he came back.
But, he started hanging around.
His hair was less stupid and his face was less prick-ish, especially when he was cracking dumb jokes to make you laugh.
He’d talk to you while you waited for Roy, then slip away as soon as he appeared.
Jamie-talk was less banned around the house now, but you still didn’t engage. Roy didn’t notice but Molly did, because she cornered you on one of her rare days off to ask you about it.
“You like Jamie,” she states, as you were elbow-deep in dishes.
You look at her, alarmed. “What? No, I don’t. He’s a prick.”
Molly raises an eyebrow (a family trait Phoebe has not yet mastered). “Then why don’t you talk about him?”
You shrug as best you can without flinging soap. “Like I said, he’s a prick. And you were the one who said we couldn’t talk about him.”
Molly returns your shrug. “That was because you both were feeding off each other’s nasty energy. Didn’t want it around Phoebe. But Roy obviously doesn’t hate him anymore, and you’re clearly head-over-heels for him.”
The plate you’re scrubbing slips from your grasp, splashing both you and Molly.
“What makes you say that?” you ask, as casually as possible.
Molly laughs. “Not sure if you’ve forgotten, but I am your older sister. I know more about you than you know about yourself.”
“Fine,” you say, dropping a fork back into the water. “He asked me out two days ago and I said yes because I do like him, but I don’t want Roy finding out, so you’d better not tell him!”
Molly grins. “Fuckin’ knew it. My lips are sealed.”
You’re successfully sneaking around Roy for one month, when the shoe drops. You and Jamie had been taking Phoebe out about once a week when you were positive Roy was either out of town or “getting his old-man rest,” as you like to call it. Seriously, that man could sleep an entire weekend away.
This time, he and Molly have something at Phoebe’s school. She insisted he come because, quote, “I’m not braving those crazy mums by myself, and you’re scary enough to keep them away.”
Roy says yes, obviously, because he’d do anything for Molly. You would too, which is why you, Phoebe, and Jamie are strolling around Richmond, and why she and Jamie are trying to convince you of their need for ice cream sandwiches.
“Pheebs, we literally just had ice cream cones. Why do you need an ice cream sandwich?”
“Because it’s lunch time.” The duh in her voice is heavily implied.
“And, babe, you have sandwiches at lunch,” Jamie adds.
“It’s a totally different food group,” Phoebe agrees.
You roll your eyes. “Babes, Moll will absolutely kill me if I let you. No way.”
You’re saved from their rebuttal by a voice saying, “What the fuck is Tartt doing here?”
The three of you jump, startled, and you and Jamie unclasp hands. You turn to see a frowning Roy.
“Roy!” you say, unconvincing smile on your face, “I thought you were at Phoebe’s school. Where’s Molls?”
Roy’s glare never leaves Jamie’s face. “We left early. Now answer the fucking question.”
You can see Phoebe starting her mental tab of Roy’s swear words. Of all the times not to have her notebook handy.
She knows neither you nor Jamie are going to be able to come up with a coherent response so she says, “Uncle Jamie picked us up to get ice cream.”
This registers with Roy, possibly a little too well, because he steps closer to Jamie and growls, “Hang on. Why the fuck does she call you ‘Uncle Jamie?’”
Jamie shrugs, grateful for any moment he’s still breathing. “Dunno. For me lovable personality?”
“No,” says Phoebe, “it’s because you’re dating my aunt so that makes you my uncle!”
Roy turns on Jamie. “You’re fucking what?”
Jamie holds up his hands. “In my defense, I wanted to tell ya. She thought you’d be mad.” He points at you.
“Was I wrong?” you ask, arms crossed, “Or is this another thing you’re going to be overprotective about?”
You can see Roy’s self-control working overtime as he tries to figure out a response that is going to a) not make you mad b) irritate Jamie and c) be appropriate for Phoebe’s ears. He finally settles on a strained, “Great,” and you smile.
“I love Uncle Jamie,” Phoebe says, fully aware of everything Roy is thinking. “He buys me ice cream and makes us laugh.”
Roy gives you a look that says, we’re fucking talking about this later and you pretend not to see it. You feel for Jamie. You have a feeling that 4am practices are about to get a lot more hellish.
At least you won’t be alone for Roy’s interrogation. You know he’s going to lose his fucking mind when he hears Molly knew this whole time.
You don’t worry about it yet, though. Right now you just listen to Jamie and Phoebe swear to Roy they haven’t had the chance to get their ice creams yet, and maybe he should take them because it’s getting close to lunch time and they’re quite hungry?
