Requested by @haocovr: Imagine being a doctor at Chicago Med and in love with Ethan Choi
"Good morning Dr. Choi." You greeted as you walked into Med. Ethan was already moving around quickly and reading over a chart in his hand.
"Morning Dr.[Y/N]." He smiled at you quickly before ducking into Trauma 2 to check on his patient.
You smiled back, even though he wasn't looking. It was such a small thing but his greeting was the best part of your morning.
Maggie approached you, a knowing smile and no chart to be seen.
"What are you looking at me like that for?" You asked, even though with Maggie you knew there was no point in trying to deny what she was seeing. She saw everything and that included seeing right through your innocent façade.
"You know exactly why." She said. "You've got to make your move. Go for it, be assertive."
"Maggie," you sighed, "he probably doesn't even-"
"Feel the same?" She interrupted. "You both have comedically bad timing. Every time one of you does something cute, the other blushes but you look away so you just don't see it. He likes you. He's probably afraid to admit it, but he does. So, talk to him. Tell him how you feel."
You looked at her. She was so confident in her assessment and you trusted her judgement on about a million other things, but you struggled to believe her here. Ethan? Liked you too? It just seemed so unlikely.
You went through the day, having only brief interactions with Ethan but each time you swore Maggie lingered around just to see if you would commit. Of course, when discussing patient care, especially in front of a patient, there weren't many opportunities for the topic to come up.
Finally, your day was wrapping up and wouldn't you know it, so was Ethan's. You were on your way to grab your things when Maggie caught your eye and gave you a look and a pushing hand motion followed by a heart. You weren't sure whether to roll your eyes or blush.
Ethan was gathering his things as well when you walked in.
"Long day?" He asked.
"I've certainly had longer. How about you?"
"Not bad, all things considered." He paused. "What are you doing tonight, got any plans?"
"Nothing yet. Why do you ask?" You asked. Ethan always seemed so confident and you really hoped he would make the first move. Maggie's pep talk had helped but you were still uncertain.
Was that a blush on Ethan's face? No, surely you were just imagining it. Ethan didn't blush. Sometimes he would smile and look away but he wasn't the blushing kind. Not that you'd watched his reactions that closely before.
"Curiosity." He finally answered simply.
"Ah." You said, disappointed but trying to hide it. You took your coat and wallet from their places and got ready to leave quietly. You considered walking out the door without saying anything else but Maggie's voice in your head told you not to.
"Do you want to go to Molly's?" You suggested, turning from the door to look at Ethan. He looked surprised at first but then smiled.
"I would like that a lot."
So, the two of you headed to the bar, greeting the firefighters as you sat at a table to give yourselves some more space to talk.
And talk you did. It was a little awkward at first, Ethan was not naturally much of a small talker and you didn't want to dive in too heavy right from the start. But from a bit of work chat, you got to spin off onto some tangents and exchange stories that had you sitting on the edge of your seat to almost doubling over laughing.
After a couple beers, Ethan finally asked you the question you'd been worried about.
"So, what made you invite me to Molly's tonight?" He asked. He certainly hadn't minded the invitation at all and he loved talking to you, but it had been a bit of a surprise.
You hesitated, unsure of how much of your feelings you wanted to lead with.
"Maggie suggested I ask actually. She thought it might be good for us to hang out."
Ethan raised an eyebrow and tried to suppress a smile.
"Funny. She told me a similar thing today."
"Oh did she?" You asked, now raising your own eyebrow. She had played you both like a fiddle. "What exactly did she tell you?"
Ethan studied you for a moment. His face was handsome you thought as he focused on your eyes.
"She told me that I needed to stop missing my moment and take the dive."
"Maggie used the phrase 'take the dive?' Huh." You mused before processing the more important part of what Ethan had been saying. "What moment was she worried about?"
You wanted to believe it would be a romantic moment and everything was leading you there. Your stomach was in your throat and you knew it would just plummet if he said it was purely platonic.
"Apparently I haven't been as subtle about how I feel as I thought. She said you weren't subtle either, I was just not looking hard enough."
How he felt. You felt a warmth in your chest as you could relax now.
"Maggie was rather confident you liked me. And she read me like a book too."
Ethan laughed and he was able to relax again.
"So, you have feelings for me too?" He confirmed.
"I like you, I really do."
You both smiled. How could you not?

Imagine being trans and going shopping with Desire
You were a little nervous about asking Desire to go shopping with you. While it was abundantly clear that had no problems toying with their own gender expression, you were still a little nervous that they might be a bit pushy. Not that you didn’t trust their fashion sense, quite the opposite you actually rather admired it.
When they came down to visit from their realm, you gathered up your nerves and asked them.
“Hey Desire?”
“Yes hon?” They replied, lounging seductively (not that they really lounged any other way) on the couch.
“Would you come shopping with me? Clothes shopping, not grocery shopping or something like that.”
“Ooh a shopping date? Absolutely doll.”
You blushed as they rolled off the couch and took your arm, already power walking out the door.
“So, what are we looking for today? Some stunning new suits for my favorite man?” They asked.
“Actually,” you hesitated. Desire glanced at you, their golden eyes shining. “Actually, I was thinking of branching out. When I came out, I felt like I had to try to dress all masculine so I could pass as male but now, I realized that I miss some of the style and the clothes that I used to wear. And wearing it isn’t going to make me less of a man.”
“Of course not love.” They smiled. “This is going to be even more fun then.”
They had even more pep in their step as you walked into your first store, eager to play around with your style and try out all the different outfits they could think of. And of course they could always find some cute clothes too, even if they didn’t need to shop for them.
It was fun, if a little overwhelming at first. They piled your arms high with clothes to try on. Some you really liked, others not so much. You noted any styles, colors, cuts, or patterns that didn’t sit right with your dysphoria and they made sure to note those and find alternatives.
“Oh my, look at you. So hot.” They complimented as you tried on the latest outfit they had put together.
“You really think so? Cause you’ve said that about almost all of them.” You replied. Not that you didn’t appreciate the compliments since you were in some ways stepping out of your comfort zone, but you wanted to make sure this was truly a good one.
“Do you think so?” They replied.
You studied yourself in the mirror, turning to catch different angles. The outfit matched your style well and while it was more fem, it didn’t hit any big dysphoria spots for you.
“Yeah I like it.”
“Then of course you look hot in it.”
You turned in the mirror a couple more times before nodding.
“Then I think we’ve got enough.”
“Yes, I think we’ve exhausted this store’s options.” Desire agreed.
“This store? Desire, I’m walking out of here with 5 new outfits, not including the room to mix and match them. This is more than I thought I was going to get already.”
“But there are so many more options to see, for me to see you in.” They added with a wink. You laughed but shook your head.
“We’ve already been here for hours looking through I think literally everything that I thought might work.”
“But it wasn’t long enough.” They pouted. You had to smile at their little petulant pout.
“Well, I guess we’ll just have to go on another shopping date then.”
“Oh, you want to go on another date with little old me?” Desire asked, feigning surprise as you gathered up your items. They once again took your arm and led you to the check out.
You weren’t sure what magic it was that got your items paid for, or if Desire had somehow decided to acquire human currency, but either way you got to leave happy with your new clothes and the prospect of a future outing with Desire.
“I’m afraid I have to return, but I expect a fashion show the next time I see you. I’ll even bring my own catwalk.” They said.
You laughed. Of course Desire would carry a catwalk in their purse. Why wouldn’t they?
“Consider it done.”
“Until then honey.” They said, blowing you a kiss and twirling their fingers. You waved back with a smile.
“Thanks for the confidence boost.” You said.
“Anytime babe, anytime.” They winked.

Anonymous request: Imagine being Tony’s trans son and having panic attacks
It was stupid you thought. Your dad was the one who had lived through all the trauma and yet you were having panic attacks. They hit worst late at night, when you stayed up either to enjoy the quiet of the night time or because your brain wouldn’t shut up and let you sleep. Either way, it seemed the quiet let your brain run wild in all the ways you didn’t want it too.
You hadn’t told him about it. He had enough on his plate to deal with, you didn’t want to bother him with something you felt you should be able to work through.
It didn’t matter though. As busy as he was, he noticed you looking more tired, sleeping later in the mornings, and Jarvis had alerted him to your movements in the middle of the night. He let it go for about a week once he knew, figuring it could just be a temporary thing, that there was something with school causing your late nights. He did worry it might be something to do with your gender but you had never mentioned it being a problem at your school and certainly no one at the school had told him anything (if they had he would have lit a fire under their asses to fix it).
When nothing changed, he decided he would step in.
You were having a bad night. It was 4 am and you were lying in bed wide awake. You’d tried all your usual tricks to fall asleep: music, ear plugs, meditating, music again, just lying down with your eyes closed. None of it worked. Instead your brain was firing on all cylinders. It was running the gamut of catastrophizing, reflecting on past mistakes and embarrassments, and heightening your anxiety for no discernible reason at all. If you weren’t quickly falling into a panic attack, you would have yelled at your brain to pull itself together. Alas, it was too late for that.
Your heart rate quickened and your breathing changed. You started shaking, despite not being cold. It felt like you were drowning in your mind. Everything was moving too fast and you didn’t have anything to hold onto.
Jarvis alerted Tony to your rapid heartbeat, so rapid it had triggered his warning systems, and your dad was soon knocking at your door. You were vaguely aware of it but were too busy trying to hit the breaks on your brain to actually respond. After a couple seconds without a response, your dad opened your door and saw you curled on top of your sheets, trying desperately to keep it together.
He rushed to your bed and sat next to you, running a hand through your hair as you buried your face into a pillow, like that might muffle your pounding heart and racing thoughts. He rubbed your back gently.
“Hey kid. What’s going on bud?” He asked softly.
You just shook your head, not ready to speak just yet, though you could feel yourself coming back to ground slowly.
“Okay you don’t have to say anything, but I’m not going to leave you kiddo.”
“Thanks.” You mumbled out from the pillow.
Your dad kept his hand on your shoulder, occasionally running it up to your hair. He remembered how happy you were when you first cut it, even before you’d come out. He knew you’d had a couple problems from people when you did come out, but he made sure your school took care of it. And all the other Avengers were very quick to accept you and make sure they gendered you correctly and use your name. Oh and god help any reporter that got it wrong. Tony and Pepper would rain hell upon them and sometimes it was hard to tell which was scarier (actually Pepper was always scarier, Tony was more humiliating though).
You pulled your face out of the pillow and looked over at your dad.
“There he is. I was afraid the pillow monster had won.” He said, trying to joke but you could hear in his voice that he was actually worried.
“Sorry.”
“What’s going on? You haven’t been sleeping well, probably worse than me and that’s impressive, but not a good thing.”
“I’ve just been having some insomnia lately.” You shrugged as much as you could from your position.
“Uh huh, and?” He knew that was not all there was. What he had walked in on was not ‘just’ insomnia.
You looked away from him again, studying the wrinkles in your pillowcase. You didn’t want to admit the truth to your dad.
“Buddy you can tell me anything, I’m not going to be mad at you.”
“Cap’s suit is cooler than yours.” You made the joke quickly. Part of it was your nature as a Stark but the other part was intention deflection.
Your dad whacked the back of your head lightly.
“You can tell me any true thing.” He amended. He wanted to laugh at your joke, you were clearly his son, but he did have bigger things to focus on.
“I, uh, it’s stupid.” You weren’t the one with PTSD from saving the whole world.
“It’s not stupid. Thor breaking the toaster trying to make a pop tart, again, is stupid.”
“I’ve been having panic attacks.” You rushed the sentence out quietly. “I told you it was stupid.” You added.
“Hey.” He said sharply. You looked up at him, worried you would see anger but that wasn’t the reason for the sharpness. “It’s not stupid and I won’t hear a son of mine calling himself stupid, especially for having panic attacks. You didn’t ask for them or build a robot that decided to go crazy and inflict you with panic attacks. How long have you been bottling this up?”
“The insomnia, I think a couple months. The panic attacks really started getting bad just the last week or two. I thought I could get a handle on them but it seems like they keep winning.”
“We can’t have that now can we. Stark brains are a little overactive as you might have noticed. If anyone’s brain here is stupid, it’s mine. Have you seen all my failed inventions and recordings? Actually, I don’t want you to see those.” You laughed softly at your dad’s self deprecation. Though if he was going to make you work on your own, you were going to make him work on his too. “Anyway, I think this is something you shouldn’t be handling on your own kid. What do you say in the morning, the real morning not this whatever 3 am crap is that’s not the real morning, we find someone that you can talk to about this?”
“You’re not embarrassed?”
“First of all, this is not embarrassing. I love you no matter what. Second, I have done so many embarrassing things in my life there’s no way this could even register on the embarrassing scale.”
“Morning sounds good then.” You agreed. One day, when you were a little older, you would ask your dad about all those embarrassing stories and failed inventions.
“Get some sleep kid. I’ll see you in the morning.” He said, getting up from your bed.
“Okay.”
“Love you bud.”
“Love you to Asgard and back.” You said, a saying you picked up after first meeting Thor.
“That’s a long way kid. I love you to Asgard and back.”
He closed the door and you burrowed back into your bed, finding that your brain was more amenable to sleep now. You closed your eyes, glad your dad had your back about this too.

I'm not sure if you still take requests but I'd love a Tewkesbury (From Enola Holmes) with a male reader ♡
-⚰️
I do still take requests, but I'm going to ask for something more specific with this. I'm happy to write for Tewkesbury but I need at least a general direction to head in. Thanks!

Hi! Could I please request an enola Holmes headcannons for enloa helping her brother with his depression, please?
Tumblr media
Headcanons: Enola helping you, her brother, with depression
Of your siblings, Enola is by far the best at supporting you. Sherlock’s not terrible some of the time, but Mycroft is just plain awful at it
If you have the energy, she’ll get you to practice jiujitsu with her. You would never have guessed having your sister flip you onto a mat would make you feel better, but sometimes that was just the reset you needed to knock you out of your funk
You never just let her win though so sometimes you won which also felt good
Sometimes though, she’s really good for just talking
If you need to talk, she’ll listen to you (actually listen) and sit with you while you verbally process everything
If you ask for advice, she’ll give it. She doesn’t always give very good advice, but it’s nice that she tries and sometimes her “advice” is actually pretty funny
Other times, you just need to be with someone else and hear them talking and if there’s one thing Enola’s good at, it’s talking your ear off. She’ll talk about flowers, about cases, about Tewkesbury, about your siblings or your mother. It doesn’t really matter to you but it helps pull you out of your head
She’ll take you on strolls on the streets of London or in the park. These might be your favorite since you get to see the world and get reminded that it’s all so much bigger and richer than you sometimes can remember.
She makes a regular check in with you to make sure you’re taking care of yourself
Usually you two go out to eat since you both know she should not be allowed in the kitchen
Sometimes she’ll invite Sherlock along, for any number of reasons
Either you need your brother’s pragmatism or she knows that he needs more socializing
No matter what, it’s fun to be with both your siblings, especially this version of Sherlock that has really come out since Enola came back into his life
Your family has never been very touchy feely, but damn if Enola doesn’t give good hugs when you need them
Enola knows you pretty well it seems. She can tell if you need mental stimulation like helping her with a case or the emotional support your brothers tend to lack for as well
You credit her a lot with helping you out of your bad days and making sure you remember there are good things in the world and people who care about you

Anonymous request: Imagine being Clint Barton’s trans son
Sometimes it was hard to have an Avenger for a dad. For once, that wasn’t actually the hardest part. Him being away a lot had actually made part of this easier. It gave you more time to plan and prepare.
You thought about a letter, an email, a text. Ultimately you decided against them all though. You wanted to tell him face to face. You still wrote out a lot of what you wanted to say but you didn’t want to be reading off a script when you talked to him either.
When he got back from the latest mission, he and Natasha came back to the house. It had been an easy one they said, by Avengers standards of course. Once you were sure that everyone was safe and still as mentally stable as they had been when they left, you asked to pull your dad aside for a minute.
“What’s going on kid?” He asked. He could tell you were nervous, you were fidgety and looked from him and then away and back several times.
“Dad there’s something I need to tell you. About me.”
“Are you okay? Has someone-” His mind raced to a hundred bad things that could be going on before you cut him off.
“I’m fine. I’m just, I’m just not who you always thought I was.”
Was it bad that his first thought was that you were secretly an Asgardian sent to Earth as a baby or something like that?
You read the confusion on his face and quickly continued speaking.
“Dad I’m transgender. I’m a boy. And I want you to call me [Y/N] and your son and a brother and-”
This time you were the one cut off as your dad pulled you into a hug. You wrapped your arms tightly around him and even though you were happy and relieved, you were fighting back tears.
“Son, daughter, anything else. it doesn’t matter buddy. I love you.”
“Thanks dad.” He could here that you were choked up and held you a little tighter.
“Should we go tell your Aunt Nat while she’s here, or do you want to wait?”
“We can tell her now.” You said.
Your dad let you drop the hug first and stepped back when you let him go.
“Are you okay?” He noticed your eyes were watery but he didn’t want to press you.
“Yeah, I’m good. Happy.”
He put a hand on your shoulder and guided you back out to the porch where Nat had gone to wait for the two of you so she wouldn’t accidentally overhear anything.
“Aunt Nat?”
“You both good?” She asked, picking up that both of you had been near tears moments ago.
“Yeah we’re good. Aunt Nat, I’m trans. Could you call me [Y/N]?”
Natasha smiled, then put on a fake frown.
“Clint you’re subtracting from my niece tally.”
Your dad smiled and you laughed.
“Sorry to disappoint.” You smiled.
“I guess I can live with it.” She sighed, winking at you.
With those two out of the way, telling the rest of the Avengers was easy. Your dad brought you to the compound and helped you tell everyone and educate them. Thor needed the most help with terminology but everyone was very supportive. Tony immediately had Jarvis update your records and pronouns in the system.
Everyone was lovely about it, truly.
But your dad was on a whole other level, rivaled possibly only by Natasha. Around the house, you got a Nerf gun to correct people if they misgendered or dead-named you. The idea caught on and soon all the Avengers found themselves shot with little darts if they got it wrong. Everyone became remarkably fast learners.
Your dad doesn’t do much press, not like Steve or Tony, but it makes you smile every time he talks proudly about his son.
He made arrows with trans colors on them that spew colored smoke and disorient a person. You helped him design them after all the gender reveal party fails you saw online.
He’s not so good at dealing with all the bureaucratic nonsense that is the American healthcare system, but it’s impressive what doors being an Avenger opens. If/when you decided you want to pursue medical transition, he’s very supportive. Hormones, surgery, he’s got your back through it all.
The first year after you came out, you asked him to take you to pride. You ended up getting a little more than you asked for.
It started out just the two of you. You walked around, saw the booths. Your dad was happy to see you happy. You got some merch, and your dad bought himself some stuff as well. He asked you questions, you guys talked to people. It was nice, and pretty low-key all things considered.
After some time wandering, you saw a collection of familiar faces approaching.
“I hope you don’t mind, I invited them to join us.” Them of course meant the rest of the Avengers, some of whom stuck out more than others. They all wore varying degrees of pride gear, from Natasha who wore a black shirt with an abstract design in trans colors, to Tony who had gone full rainbow.
The now large group of you walked through the festival together, with everyone talking and laughing. Some asked you questions about words or flags or memes that were unfamiliar. Thor had a lot of questions about how he had become a lesbian icon and what his duties entailed.
At the end of the day, you all went your separate ways.
“Was that good?” Your dad asked as he drove you both home.
“Yeah it was. Thank you for taking me, and for coming, and for inviting them. It was fun.”
“I don’t think I’ve actually said it to you yet, but I’m proud of you. Not just for this, because I know coming out and that is hard. But I’m proud of you. My son. I’m proud of the man you’re growing into.”
You smiled. You wished your dad could be around more, selfishly, but more than that, you were proud of what he did and who he was. You wanted to be like him in so many ways.
“Thanks dad. I love you.”

Anonymous request: Imagine working for House and having a crush on Wilson
“You agree with me, right?”
The question directed at you snapped you out of your thoughts. Chase was staring at you and you had unfortunately no clue what he was arguing with House over.
“I’m not sure I completely follow.” You replied.
“The patient has all the signs of lupus.” Chase said, quickly running down the list.
“It’s not lupus. It’s never lupus!” House exclaimed.
You studied the differential on the board. While House was sure it was never lupus, you had to agree with Chase that the symptoms lined up.
“It’s always possible that it’s something else, but I do agree with Chase. It is hitting all the classic marks. Do you have a different suggestion?”
“Run the damn tests. You’ll see I’m right and then we can move on from this bad idea and get to a real answer.” House threw his hands in the air and limped away to his office.
“[Y/N], why don’t you and Cameron go run the tests. Chase and I can try to find whatever it is that House thinks we should be finding.” Foreman suggested.
You and Cameron nodded and headed out of the space. As you walked the halls she made some small talk.
“So what were you thinking about when Chase asked for your input?” She asked.
“What do you mean?” You asked, trying to play it off.
“Oh come on, we both know you weren’t listening to what he said.”
“I was just, um, running through the differential in my,” you got distracted as the two of you passed Dr. Wilson in the hall. He smiled and gave you a quick wave as he walked toward his office. You smiled and waved back, knowing your cheeks were heating up in spite of yourself.
“I think I have a better idea what was running through your head.” Cameron said with a laugh.
“What? You think...? Don’t be ridiculous.” You blustered trying to defend yourself but you knew it wasn’t doing any good.
“You’ve got a thing for Wilson.”
“I, uh, may have something of a crush.” You admitted.
“So when are you going to tell him?” She asked, enjoying the new development, not that she hadn’t had her suspicions before. You always got shy when the oncologist was around and picked his suggestions over House’s even though you worked for House.
“Oh you know I was thinking, never.”
“No, [Y/N], you have to tell him.”
“No I definitely do not. He’s the head of oncology and I’m still an intern. And I don’t even know if he likes guys.”
“Well you’ll never know if you don’t ask.”
“Yes and that way he’ll never know either. And I don’t have to worry about dying of embarrassment. I’m perfectly happy waving in the halls and talking at lunch sometimes.”
Cameron shook her head but by that point you were arriving at the patient’s room. You both knew she wasn’t going to just drop it though.
A few days later, you went to lunch alone and sat down to eat a quick meal before getting back to your latest case. Your plan was interrupted when none other than James Wilson approached your table.
“Mind if I join you?” He asked, gesturing to the empty seat across from you.
“Not at all.” You said immediately.
“How are you doing?” He asked as he sat down.
“Good. Taking my breaks where I can get them. House doesn’t always, how do I put this, remember that humans need to eat.”
Wilson laughed. He knew that all too well about House.
“I’m just glad he’s at least remembering you guys are humans.”
“Well, he sometimes remembers that.” You replied. “House is a genius and it’s obviously a huge privilege to work for him but, I don’t want to talk bad about your friend.” You realized in the middle of your sentence maybe you shouldn’t be saying this to him.
“House is an ass, believe me I know. And whatever you’re going to say I’m sure  I’ve heard worse said about him.”
“I wish he was a little nicer. I know we’re still learning but would a genuine compliment kill him?”
“I think it might.” Wilson said with a smile. “But in all seriousness, I can talk to him if you want. He shouldn’t be so cruel. You don’t deserve that.”
“We both know it won’t change anything.” You said with a shrug. You were flattered that he offered though. But, considering he was friends with House you figured he would do that for anyone House was bothering.
“Maybe not, but I’d hate to see you get down because House can’t be bothered to respect you.”
“I guess you probably see enough sad people every day, huh?” You replied, once again trying to deflect the thoughts that he was talking about you specifically.
“Sure, but it always makes my day a little better when you wave at me in the hall.”
You felt your face heat up. You tried to tell yourself it was just a friendly compliment. But no matter how many times your brain said it, your heart was still jumping.
“I, thank you.” You replied, not certain how to respond. “I like it when you smile, it’s good to see a kind face around.”
Wilson’s face was now getting a pink tint to it. He was about to say something more when his pager beeped.
“I’m sorry, I’ve got to-”
“Of course, go.” You interrupted.
He got up and moved to leave before turning back around to you.
“Do you want to grab dinner later? I’d like to talk without these interruptions for once.”
“I’d love to.” You were positively beaming.
“It’s a date.” He said without thinking. He met your eyes quickly. You had a shy smile on your face and looked down from him. “Sorry I shouldn’t have-”
“It’s okay. It’s a date.” You cut him off with a smile.
He smiled back, that cute gentle smile of his.
“I’ll see you this evening then. For our date.” He nodded, and turned to leave again. You both did little celebrations once the other couldn’t see.
You’d never wanted a shift to end so fast in your life. House seemed intent on making every minute feel like an hour. But eventually the end came and you had to fight not to sprint to Wilson’s office.
The door was open but you knocked lightly anyway when you saw him hunched over papers. He looked up and then looked at his watch.
“I’m sorry,” you began, “if you’re too busy we don’t have to-”
“Nope, I’m glad you came. Otherwise I might have just dived into the endless pile of paperwork and never come back.” He stood up, grabbed his coat off the back of his chair and walked toward you. “How do you feel about Italian?”
“I’m a big fan of Italian.”
“Good, I know a place.”
You walked out of the hospital together and he led the way down the street.
“Did you actually mean for this to be a date? Or was that just a turn of phrase?” You ended up asking partway down the street after a few seconds of silence. You were nervous. In the moment it had felt cute but now you were doubting again.
Wilson paused before answering.
“If you want it to be a date, it’s a date. I meant it when I said it but then I was worried it was too forward.”
“Okay good.” You said.
“Good.”
“Yeah good. I do want it to be a date then.”
“Good.”
He smiled and reached over, taking your hand. He looked over at you and you smiled before looking away. Cameron would never let you hear the end of this. But you were on a date with James Wilson so you couldn’t really be mad about it.

Hello! I am not dead
Sorry for disappearing for...actual months. Life can be complicated.
But, I am trying to write again and am hoping to get some posts up soon. I’m afraid some of my asks have been eaten by the askbox/lost to time so if you have requests, please send them in

Hi, i know it's not in your fandoms list, but do you write or intend to write for The Boys characters?
Hey thank you for asking. I don't write for it and probably won't, at least not in the near future. If you're looking for others, I believe @mlm-writer and @mlmxreader have written for it, but I'd check if they're still taking requests, and if not if they know anyone that does.

Requested by @daredevil-1910 : Imagine you and Ginny having feelings for each other and confessing them
“Are you ever going to tell her?”
“You know I want to but we’re friends and I don’t want to ruin that.”
Hermione sighed. This was a conversation the two of you had had numerous times. At first she had agreed with you, but now it was getting to be a bit ridiculous. You clearly liked Ginny and from what she could tell, Ginny felt the same way but neither of you wanted to make the first move. And as much as she wanted to meddle and tell you both to just suck it up and ask already, she knew it wasn’t her place. Besides, if she was wrong then it really would be awful to have ruined that friendship.
Fortunately, she was right and Ginny was more confident than you.
The four of you - Harry, Ron, Hermione, and you - were spending a typical evening walking the grounds. Hermione was talking with you about classes, and Ron and Harry were trying to get you to talk about anything else.
When you stepped inside, as it was getting too dark to be outside any longer, Ginny was outside the Great Hall.
“Hey,” she greeted you all, “could I borrow [Y/N] for a moment? I’ve got something I need to ask.”
“I thought Hermione was the person to answer any question.” Ron teased.
“Just because I pay more attention in class than you Ron doesn’t mean I have all the answers.” She retorted. “We’ll see you both later.”
With that she began ushering Ron and Harry away toward the Gryffindor dormitories.
“What did you want to ask?”
“Well, not here. Come on.” She said, realizing how public a space you were in at the moment. She began walking and you tried to make small talk about quidditch as you walked, though it was obvious you both were nervous. Her because she was worried about your answer to her question and you because you didn’t know why she wanted to talk to you. You had a hope of course but you weren’t so idealistic as to expect that was her reason.
Eventually you found yourselves at the top of the clock tower overlooking the courtyard.
“This is rather a lot of privacy. What’s so important we had to come all the way up her?” You asked, standing at the glass looking through the clock.
Ginny hesitated, looking from you to the window to the floor.
“I don’t know if you noticed, Fred and George said I was being obvious, but sometimes I think I act funny around you. And it’s because I like you. More than as a friend. And I don’t know what I’m supposed to do or if you like me too.”
You laughed. You felt really bad, but you laughed.
“I’m sorry.” You managed to get out. “Not laughing...at you...hold on....whoo okay.”
You got your laughter under control and tried to help Ginny not look so confused and upset.
“Hermione has been teasing me for weeks about how I act around you and asking when I’m going to tell you I like you. She even thought you liked me back but I didn’t believe her.”
Ginny’s confusion turned to a smile as you explained.
“She’s going to tell us we’re so stupid when we tell her this.”
“She is right.”
“We’re never going to hear the end of it. At least Ron and Harry won’t have noticed either.”
“They are a bit thick about all this aren’t they?” Ginny laughed.
“More than a bit I think.”
You two laughed a bit more before turning toward the stairs so you could head to your rooms.
“So does this mean we’re, I don’t know, together?” You asked.
“I hope so.”
“Okay good, me too.”

(And yes that does mean I'm actually going to start writing again - hopefully this weekend - gotta love health problems)

Skating - Pietro Maximoff
Tumblr media
Headcanons: Taking skating lessons with Pietro
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You were the one to suggest the ice skating lessons
You already liked skating, went every once in a while growing up but were not “good” by any consideration really. You could stay on your feet but there were certainly no tricks up your sleeve
Pietro agreed to take them, though he didn’t exactly see the point. He agreed it could be fun but he could always run faster than anyone could skate
You pointed out that it could be fun to see if his speed translated onto the skates. Since that sounded a bit like a challenge, he was now determined to try
He had never skated before, at least not that he could really remember though he supposed it was possible when he was little in Sokovia
On the first day of lessons, you were excited and Pietro couldn’t help smiling at your excitement. You had forgotten how fun it was to get on the ice
Getting on the rink, both of you were a little shaky on your feet and Pietro found himself holding the wall for longer than he would later admit to his sister or any of the other Avengers
But as the lesson began, you found your balance and got back into the motion your body seemed to remember than you thought it would
Your skates glided on the ice and it felt so natural to glide along, moving your feet at the right time to the right place to propel yourself forward or turn
Pietro, meanwhile, managed to get off the wall but was still taking small, slow movements to get around.
The first time you lapped him, you couldn’t help giving him a “you didn’t see that coming?”
If you hadn’t been on skates, he probably would have pushed you right there but he didn’t want to hurt you and he was too focused on not falling himself
While he did start improving and picking up speed, so did you
You were consistently moving faster than him, lapping him repeatedly as you reveled in the feeling of skating (and of course being faster than him for once)
At one point, you did slow down to check on Pietro
“Are you good? Being slower, I mean? I don’t want to make you feel bad cruising around so fast while you go slower.”
“I am good, yes. But it looks like I will need to practice so we can skate together later.”
Once you were reassured, you picked up the pace again and Pietro smiled as you glided away from him
He really couldn’t mind, especially since you look so happy doing it
But he was certainly going to take more lessons so he could catch up to you

Carols - Jaskier
Tumblr media
Prompts:  2 - “God, you’re shivering so much— just take my jacket.” and 58 -  “You look adorable covered in snow.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You couldn’t believe you had let Jaskier convince you to got out in the snow. But he wanted to explore the town and you really couldn’t say no to him when he pouted, a fact he was all too aware of. So you had agreed to accompany him. You never wanted to miss an opportunity to hear him sing anyway, and you knew he would find one in some inn or tavern.
Jaskier being, well, Jaskier had dressed for a party, not a tromp through the snow in between stops and while he normally had no qualms about letting everyone know just how uncomfortable he was, he didn’t want you to feel bad since he was the one who had talked you into it. However, he couldn’t hide his shaking shoulders and quivering arms when he held your hand.
“Gods you’re shivering so much,” you finally said, “just take my coat.” You released his hand and peeled off your outer layer, offering it to him. He wanted to resist but the cold seizing his body overruled any bad feelings he may have had. He shrugged it on and instantly felt better, especially since your own body heat had left it warm.
“Thank you.” He said as he picked up your hand again.
“You’re welcome, you fool.” You said with a teasing smile. He pouted which only made you laugh and he cracked a smile.
You kept walking, Jaskier now warmer and you glad to not be holding a shaking hand. It was a cute town, you had to admit, that you had gotten dragged out to. It was made even cuter by the fluffy snowflakes falling and covering the paths and buildings all around you, blanketing everything in white. They glistened in the lights from windows and you couldn’t help thinking Jaskier could compose a wonderful song simply from that sight alone.
You were pretty sure the wandering was turning aimless, though Jaskier assured you that once he found a suitable venue he would settle down and set about performing.
Finally, he found a bustling pub and decided this would be his spot for the evening.
You held him back just as he was about to open the door and he looked at you quizzically as he pulled his lute to his chest.
“What? Something wrong with this place?” He asked.
“No, not at all. It’s just,” you paused taking him in, “you look adorable covered in snow.” The snowflakes caught in his hair and his eyelashes, you couldn’t put it into words the way he could but you were simply enthralled with it.
He smiled softly as he looked back at you. He thought you were equally adorable, shoulders dusted in flakes and the light of the pub catching your eyes perfectly while the snow sparkled behind you. For a moment it made him forget there was a bigger world out there with monsters and wars because all he needed in the world was right there.
“You look absolutely perfect love.”
Jaskier pulled you to himself and kissed you gently, not wanting to disturb the snow from its place just yet.
“You are such a flirt Jaskier.”
“I have heard that many a time my love.”
You rolled your eyes but laughed.
“And while I have heard it, I assure you I’ve never written anyone a song like the one I am going to write for you.”
“You’ve already written me songs.”
“True, but even those won’t compare to what is already writing itself in my head. It will blow you away, I promise you.”
“Well I will look forward to it. But tonight I think you’ve got a pub full of people who would love to hear that song you wrote about Geralt.”
“Ah yes I couldn’t agree more.” He said enthusiastically. “Shall we, my snow prince?”
He offered you his arm and while you once again rolled your eyes, you took his arm as he pulled open the door to the pub. You eagerly awaited his performance tonight and the song he had promised you, wondering what new tune he would spin even though you knew whatever it was would be beautiful.
