I feel like sometimes people get confused as to why Iida punched Deku in that one episode after Midoryia gets out of the hospital. Like I’m scrolling through the Iida tag on tiktok and they’re all like “Deku was only just outta hospital” or “how is his brother”, etc in the comments.

But Iida literally punched him because he was frustrated that Midoryia wasn’t thinking about anyone else’s feelings at the time and was most likely scared for his friend and didn’t want anyone else he cares about to get hurt like Tensei did.
