Passionfruit Iced Tea
Tumblr media
As we're heading Southwards, and the sun is bright and hot on the road, a cooling beverage is most welcome. This Passionfruit Iced Tea is not only delightfully refreshing, it's also delectably good. Ripe passion fruit give it a Summer-y hue and taste, and blends perfectly with Lao white tea from Pakse, and Manuka Honey from Aotearoa New Zealand. It's definitely a drink for travelling! Happy Sunday!
Ingredients fills a 1 ¼-quart pitcher):
4 ripe passion fruits
2 tablespoons good quality loose-leaf white tea
2 heaped teaspoons Manuka Honey
4 cups (filtered) water (at room temperature)
Halve passion fruits and scoop their pulp into a large bowl or pitcher.
Fill a tea ball with white tea leaves and close tightly.
Drizzle passionfruit pulp with Manuka Honey, add filled tea ball to the pitcher or bowl, and cover with water. Place in the refrigerator to chill and steep, overnight.
Remove tea ball, and serve Passionfruit Iced Tea very cold.

Sweet little bumblebee ---------------------------------- SCP-321 [The Bee Child] Sadie Beckett Wolcott // Her/Them// Minor//Class Safe Cw: Body horror/Mention of cannibalism More info! Verrrry long- VVVV
Physical and Characteristics:
Sarah is a humaniod (Intersex) who was born on July 4, 18██. Lacks melanin in her hair, eyes, and skin.
Sarah suffered with speech impediments and remain selective mute, using a white board or a deck of speaking cards to communicate
Struggles to adapting to new situations, due to her lack of knowledge. Sarah's body is afflicted with chronic weakness, which significantly impairs her ability to perform physical tasks.
She often experiences coldness in her extremities and may require additional clothing or heating to maintain her body temperature.
Her legs are particularly weak, making walking without assistance challenging. To move, she depends on elbow crutches, which provide the necessary support.
To maintain her physical state, Sarah requires regular consumption of royal jelly produced by her protective bees.
Without the intake of royal jelly, her body undergoes deformations, elongation, and begins to consume her own muscles, resulting in extreme pain.
Anomalous Properties:
Sarah's anomaly is distinct from Theo's, whose abilities involve physical healing through touch. Her anomaly primarily affects mental damage and appears to have been either given or taken from Theo during a divine interaction.
The subject's aging process has been significantly slowed, estimated to be around half the rate of a normal human.
Sarah's primary anomaly revolves around bees and honey, and it includes different types of bees that produce various cognitive hazards or effects. Wherever she goes, bees are drawn to her, often attempting to create hives in her hair or on her clothes.
Friendly Bees [Apis, Honey bee] ( clover honey, sage honey, orange blossom honey, sourwood honey):
These bees are non-hostile and behave like regular working bees or accompany their queen.
Their honey has a positive effect on mental health, inducing a peaceful state in consumers.
Therapists have recommended the use of this honey, though the site director remains cautious.
Neutral Bees [Apis Mellifera] ( Manuka Honey, Dandelion Honey, Blueberry Honey, Macadamia Honey):
These bees are neutral but will become aggressive if provoked.
They produce honey with curative properties for the human body.
However, if stung by one of these bees ten times within a 24-hour period, the victim's internal organs turn into candied organs, leading to a peaceful death, akin to SCP-1176. The Honey bees then consume the corpse and offer it to their queen.
Protective Bees (Apis Mellifera Mellifera + Aster Honey/Ironbark Honey/Coffee Honey/Fireweed Honey):
These bees act as guards for the queen and become hostile if she is distressed or injured.
Their honey is exclusively for the queen, and they defend it vigorously against beekeepers.
They retain their stingers and possess venom that allows them to control their victims in under 40 minutes.
The risk of collecting this honey is justified by a 30% chance that the bees will produce immortal honey, distinguished by its taste and shimmering color.

Girl, I need your hair routine!! My curls are just wild af…
Okay I got you! 🥰
I’m going to list all the products I use and how I use them. If you need me to send you pictures of specific products go ahead and DM me, I’ll be happy to send links or pictures!
Wash routine:
I only wash my hair every other day (2-3 times a week) NOT everyday!
I’ll use AG hair “Curl Revive shampoo” & “Curl Thrive Conditioner” (A more affordable option that I also use is Shea Moisture “curl & shine” shampoo/conditioner)
I’ll detangle my hair in the shower and I use a wide tooth comb to do that
Once I get out I use a deep conditioner my favorite is Shea Moisture “Manuka Honey & Mafura oil Intensive hydration Hair Masque” I’ll section off my hair and use that while I use a Denmen Brush to comb through the product.
After it’s combed through I’ll put my hair in a bun and let it sit for like 30+ minutes
After that I’ll wash out the product with cold water
Styling Routine:
I’ll section off my hair into 4 sections and use a spray bottle to put water on each section and put in some leave-in conditioner. My favorites are AG Hair “Re:Coil” and “Curl Thrive” used together OR Shea Moisture “Curl Enhancing smoothie” used on its own
Once I have those in my hair I’ll use my Denmen brush to comb the product in.
Make sure you always comb away from your scalp NOT down to help get some volume
After that I’ll add some gel to each section. My favorite is Shea Moisture “Defining Styling Gel”
Drying:
If I have time I’ll use a Hair dryer w/ a diffuser attachment
If not I’ll just let my hair air dry
After my hair is dry I use a Hair pick to help fluff out my hair and I also will add some Argon oil on my hands and separate some curls for volume
I use a silk hair bonnet after my wash days to preserve my curls
It’s important to note that I have a Rezo hair cut which makes my hair look fuller+more volume, what works for my hair may not work for yours and what works for your hair my not work for mine (:
Hopefully this helped, may your curls look amazing 🥳

She is mine.
As the early morning sun shone on her golden brown eyes,it revealed pools of manuka honey; with opalescent flecks of honeybees scattered throughout. Her cheeks rose red; imitating the flower itself. Her lips contain a cupid's bow so strong, when I dream of her kiss fiery passion shoots into my lungs, burning my throat; leaving scars in its wake. Her hair incases her face, the colour of apricots, peaches, and plums resembling jam in its sweetest form. She’s nature's finest artwork, a mixture of Autumn leaves, and Spring flowers, Summer nights, and Winter rain.
She is mine
While all my world is seen through gloomy shades in dark pockets of the street, her eyes show me what the world looks like through rose coloured lenses. Even on my darkest days her warmth embraced me like hot tea on a frosty morning. She uses colours in ways I never thought possible; she uses rainbows to paint  portraits, each one of my imperfections she perfects. When she’s a part of my world it’s like watching a kaleidoscope while on acid. Colours bounce along the road, jumping car to car, to the people on the footpaths; colours splatter everywhere.
She is mine
We finally are one. Icy fingers elegantly laced together. Cold arms intertwined. Brittle bodies shared. I knew her like the back of my hand, leaving her now vulnerable in my arms. Sometimes I felt that she knew me better than she knew herself, always looking over her shoulder, her keys clenched in her fist; second floor flat key, postbox key, car key, they all lined the inside of her fingers. “Shadows in the dark that's all it is” she reassured herself when she saw me following her. “Wind in the trees” she said when she heard me breath. When she heard footsteps, she ran.
She is mine
The dip between her shoulder and neck powdered with perfume, her scent smelling of roses intoxicating, bringing me ever closer. Dusk had settled upon us, as the rain set in the aroma of petrichor rolled over the hills, overwhelming my senses.  She had made it back home to where she was “safe”, her second floor flat. She left her keys on the kitchen bench and headed to the bathroom where she jumped straight in the shower, where she tried to cleanse her mind of the odd happenings that night. She hadn’t shut the front door,  nor had she latched her bathroom  window. She saw me.
She is mine
The melancholy of the witching hour. As she ran out the door in nothing but a towel, she screamed for help. As she met the stairs some say she slid and fell, others think she was pushed. Her head hit the stairs, all those pretty colours that she had shown once before came forth once again, painting the walls in patterns I could never forget. Her sombre and odious blood dripped down the  staircase seeping into the cracks, staining them. Her colours were lifeless.
Her eyes; black like the voids of space. Her cheeks; pale, reflecting the morning moonlight. Her hair; now the colour of the sepia paintings on the wall, sodden in her own blood. Her lips; a broken bow, leaving the fire to die out in her heart. Her body; so beautiful, yet lifeless.
She was mine

You asked for tea recommendations and I’m delivering because I’d gone down to make a cuppa anyway.
So, first things first, I always recommend starting with something your familiar with. The first tea I ever drank and liked was apple and cinnamon flavour, and because I understood the flavours, I actually enjoyed it.
As an extra consideration for that, choose flavours you know you like when they’re hot. It took me years to enjoy peppermint tea, because I’d only ever had mint cold before. There’s a strawberry and cucumber tea that I really like, but again, it took a couple of mugs of it to get used to having those flavours hot.
I think this is kind of why herbal teas are easier to drink than tea-teas, y’know?
Anyway, on to some recommended brands. I don’t know if you can get any of these where you are, but these are my go-to brands
First off, Pukka. They’re a little pricier than some other brands, but they have a really big range and there really is something for everyone. They also come individually wrapped and that for me is a must because I always have teabags just floating around my bag and also sometimes I won’t have a flavour for months at a time and then I’ll suddenly crave it again.
Tumblr media
The night time one I’ve been drinking for nearly six years now, it’s very soothing. Some people don’t like how it smells, though, but I’ve never found a problem with it. The lemongrass and ginger one I usually only have when I’m on my period, and the chai one I have when I’m writing because I find the scents help focus me. Personally, though, I probably wouldn’t start with the lemongrass or chai ones as your first flavour. There’s a Manuka honey one that I really love that I don’t have any of at the moment and is on my shopping list for tomorrow.
My absolute favourite tea at the moment is this one
Tumblr media
I don’t have the box any more but it’s really citrusy, it’s orangey and lemony and it really does make my day when I have it. This is a good one to have as your first foray into Pukka teas.
The other brand I drink a lot of is Twinnings.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These three are the ones I have at the moment that I’d really recommend. The camomile and spiced apple is lovely for autumn and is almost out so I need to get some more, and the other two are great for when you’re really stressed. The other one I like is the strawberry, cucumber and aloe Vera which is another of their super blends range. Honestly, I prefer the superblends ones to the normal twinings ones, even though they’re more expensive. Oh, also, the twinings buttermint tea is really good if you want something to ease you into mint teas.
The other brand I occasionally drink is kib
Tumblr media
This one isn’t my favourite, and it’s kinda expensive, but it’s better than some teas that I’ve had, also.
I also usually keep a stock of just plain standard camomile and peppermint and stuff, but honestly…it’s a trial and error game of finding what blend works best for you. Both twinings and pukka do assortment boxes of like five teabags of four different flavours that are really good for finding out what works for you, cause it can be a pretty pricy guessing game otherwise.
The other way of trialing flavours is Pukka do an advent calendar (I know you’re not Christian, and it’s kinda expensive if you think about it) for like £10 ish where they have 24 tea bags of different blends so you can treat it like a sample box and try 24 different flavours without committing to a whole box of tea that you have know way of knowing if you’ll like it. I think twinings might do one too, but I can’t remember.
This is really long, sorry, but one more thing of course is knowing how to brew it - knowing what temperature water works best for what teas, how long to brew them for. Most teas will tell you. I’m a sadist and will leave my teabag in my mug until the end of the drink, but I find a stronger flavour is easier to drink. A lot of the pukka ones have brew times from 5-15 minutes anyway, and I always go longer than the recommended, but it’s personal preference and trial and error.
Also, lastly, don’t feel pressured to drink tea. I think that’s something that a lot of young people (particularly if your surrounded by a lot of tea drinkers) find. Tea should be a personal journey of growth, and it takes time, and some people just really don’t enjoy it and that’s okay.
(A good mug always helps too)
Tumblr media
Cheers
Citrusy flavors are usually fine for me, and also if I ice drinks—that worked for coffee. It still tastes horrid if it’s hot but iced it’s good. I’ll have to find some apple and orange-flavored tea to start out, maybe when I’m home for winter break since I don’t have time to break my routine rn. My bad experience with tea was when I was feeling sick and my mom made me like honey and lemon tea and not only did it just straight up taste horrid but the sweetness/sourness was really off. I haven’t trusted tea since 😂

Character Intro: Callisto (Kingdom of Ichor)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nicknames- Cal by her friends & family
Age- 17
Location- Arcadia, Olympius
Personality- She's an outdoorsy type of girl, who finds peace in the woods, surrounded by nature. She's a bit shy and naive & is currently questioning a few things about herself- like her sexuality. She currently identifies herself as being asexual. She’s single.
She was born and raised in the state of Arcadia to her parents- Lycaon and Nonacris (Nona for short). Cal also has two little sisters named Dia & Psophis (called Sophi for short).
Her dad is currently not living with them, his whereabouts unknown. Cal doesn't know all the details, but she does know that her dad was cursed- transformed into a shapeshifting werewolf by the King of Olympius & the gods, Zeus, after disrespecting him. One night while in the midst of an argument with Nona, Lycaon transformed (blinded by intense anger), and scratched his wife across her face (on the right side). He left her with a noticeable jagged scar- starting from the end of her eyebrow, running the length of her entire jaw. Before his curse, Lycaon worked as a lieutenant to Lord Iasus.
When her dad left, Cal & the rest of her family had to move out of their mansion (because of the payments) and thus downsizing to a small, but cute home- complete with a fireplace.
She has a part time job at The Roasted Bean in her city. Her go-to drink there is an iced vanilla sweet cream cold brew.
Cal's been a major support system for her mom Nona. Each night, she passes a skin oil product to help improve the appearance of the scar. Some nights, she sees her mom sitting by an open window, waiting up for Lycaon.
She likes to think of herself as a night owl. Cal often stays up late- listening to music, writing in her journal, knitting, praying to the moon goddesses Artemis, Selene, & Phoebe, or reading suspense novels.
A favorite sweet treat of hers is butter pecan ice cream (with caramel swirls) from The Frozen Spoon. There's one in her neighborhood.
Cal is an awesome big sister to her little sisters! Because their mom leaves before dawn for work, she drives Dia & Sophi to school. Afterschool, Cal helps them with their homework and makes them fried bologna & cheese sandwiches for lunch. The three of them do lanyard together, often going to the craft store for more supplies on the weekend. Cal can do a mean double twisted cobra design! They also like going to the zoo- especially to check out the bear exhibit.
Hair day at the house is an important rite of passage. Cal does her hair on her own- usually wearing it as a curly fro. She helps her mom with washing her little sisters' hair (using the Glory's Crown papaya & hibiscus shampoo and conditioner). When it's fully dry, it's finished off with the manuka honey hair pomade and black castor oil. If her mom's too tired, Cal will do their hair- in two strand twists, french braids, bantu knots, & high puff ponytails.
She's a huge fan of the goddess Artemis. Cal listens to her band Eclipse- with their song "Insomniac" being her phone's ringtone.
Her favorite nail polish to paint her nails with is "Eclipsed" (a dark blue-black color) from the moon goddess' nail polish brand, Colors of Twilight.
Cal's friend group is a dryad nymph named Kamira, a harpy named Melli, and two other mortals- a guy & girl named Lucas and Ophelia. They've been there for her as she's been questioning her sexuality. Her first kiss happened when she was eight at camp with another girl named Cate. Her first "relationship" was with her gym classmate- a boy named Bastian. They were both thirteen & it lasted for three weeks. Cal ended things when he wanted to go to "second base" with her. She does take notice of aesthetically pleasing looking people- no matter the gender!
She loves using cocoa butter lotion on her body!
One of her greatest dreams is to join Artemis' group of hunters.
In her free time, Cal's been taking archery lessons. She also likes jogging, doing yoga, hanging out with her friends (they even went to the LunarWorld Theme Park!), cooking, stargazing, spending time with her family, canoeing, & rollerblading.
Her favorite food is the barbeque boneless rib sandwich from The Bread Box. She also likes her mom's rice & gravy.
"The light of the moon is my spotlight!"

Dry shampoo for dogs is a handy way to clean them without water, which is good for cold weather or dogs who can't have baths. It's gentle and won't irritate sensitive skin. Using dry shampoo means you don't have to bathe your dog as often, which is helpful for dogs with skin problems. It's quick and easy to use, perfect for busy owners or dogs who don't like baths. Plus, it leaves your dog smelling nice between the washes.
When picking a dry shampoo, check the ingredients to make sure they're safe for your dog. Choose a nice smelling one and consider if your dog has sensitive skin. Match the shampoo to your dog's fur type for the best results. Ask your vet for recommendations and choose one that's easy to apply. Most importantly, make sure it doesn't have any harmful chemicals.
I recommend Petterati Dry Shampoo for Dogs. It smells great with green apple, manuka honey, and oats, and it's gentle on your dog's skin. Plus, it's sulphate-free and paraben-free, so it's safe to use. Your dog will stay clean, fresh, and happy with Petterati

The cheap and easy way to protect your family from colds and flu
Elderberries naturally contain vitamins A, B, and C and stimulate the immune system. Israeli researchers found that the complex sugars in elderberries support the immune system in fighting cold and flu. They developed several formulas based on these complex sugars that have been clinically shown to help ameliorate all kinds of cold/flu.
In fact: “Dr. Madeleine Mumcuoglu, of Hadassah-Hebrew University in Israel found that elderberry disarms the enzyme viruses use to penetrate healthy cells in the lining of the nose and throat. Taken before infection, it prevents infection. Taken after infection, it prevents spread of the virus through the respiratory tract. In a clinical trial, 20% of study subjects reported significant improvement within 24 hours, 70% by 48 hours, and 90% claimed complete cure in three days. In contrast, subjects receiving the placebo required 6 days to recover.”
What you need to make a single batch:
2 x Empty Kilner Bottle or empty glass jars  1 x bottle 100% cold pressed Biona Elderberry Juice 4 x Tablespoons of maple syrup, algave or raw honey   1 x Kakadu Plum powder
METHOD:  Mix it altogether in a jug Pour into the kilner bottle or glass jars Store in the fridge
I use Kakadu plum powder as it is a powerhouse of vitamin C and full of antioxidants, a fantastic natural preservative and has the highest food-based form of vitamin C of any food known on this planet.
The elderberry juice can have a bitter taste without the sweetener added, this will depend on preference.
You could substitute the honey with maple syrup to sweeten (if vegan or under 12 months). Raw Manuka honey can also be used for children over 24 months.
DOSAGE: Elderberry Syrup is suitable for 12 months and over and if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding if you have used maple syrup.
**If you have used Manuka honey in the mixture, then it is ONLY suitable for children OVER 24 MONTHS**
Take 1 x Tablespoon every day (adults) Take 1 x Teaspoon everyday (children)
If you are feeling sick or have a cold or the onset of flu, increase dosage to 1-2 tablespoons every 3-4 hours up to 4 times per day (for children over 12 months with Maple syrup use 1-2 teaspoons
For children over 24 months and you have used raw Manuka honey then its 1-2 teaspoons per day.
