Thanksgiving with Storybrooke

Its turkey day for the citizens of Storybrooke yet none of them have ever celebrated as they were all from a different realm if anything there are only two who have celebrated this day or to be more on the nose, they knew about it they are Neal Cassidy and Emma Swan. However, they are not in the state to prepare a thanksgiving dinner luckily, they both told their families about it. In the mayor office Regina Mills walked over thinking of celebrating the holiday she remembered when Emma told them about and the former evil queen though it be a great idea to celebrate this day with them, picking up her cell she dialed Snow number. "Hello Snow, I was wondering if you could help me organize a thanksgiving dinner?" The mayor asked her stepdaughter she had to cover her ears with Snow squealing with excitement. "I guess that means a yes well get started on the guest list "I will mom don't worry you can count on me," Snow replied excitedly getting ready to help her stepmother start on the list. "Okay well how about we invite Rumple and his family, and we can call Aurora and hers maybe have Mal and Lily. Ahley and hers of course I don't know about the Tremaine family maybe Ashleys stepsisters I don't know on that one, Ruby and Grany the dwarfs and the fairies, Ariel and Eric and melody maybe well there a lot of people we should invite," Snow said thinking over each and every one. Regina smiled at hearing her stepdaughter refer to her as mom, the mayor never though she would hear those words from Snow ever again not after what they've been through, but she realized that Snow may have forgiven her as she had given Snow back her daughter with Emma's blessing of course. "Thank you dear I'll let you handle the Tremaine situation, but I will get started with the dinner and is David at the sheriff station?" the former queen asked as she got started on a list of items she will need. "Alright Snow once you finish the list of guests come over and help prepare dinner for everyone Oh and we might as well rent the dancing Hall from," Regina wrote the items she would need. "Alright Snow and dear thank you for everything,"

Besides the elements you've already used are there any other ideas from Once Upon a Time you want to tweak and include in your DisneyVerse?

I would like to figure out some sort of re-spin for Zelena (kinda referenced her a little bit with the Beast's mother Hélène) and maybe dive in more on what Heinrich and his aunt Eva were doing in Monroeville while stranded in Our World as that's my re-spin for Henry and Regina.

Other then that it's more of a case by case basis. When i'm crafting a new DisneyVerse story I try to find what stuff Disney has already made with the story that I could use and OUAT if nothing else has a whole lot of stuff to pick through x) So we'll see what stuff will get pulled up in the future!

(Now I'm thinking about just which stuff I've used already, let me see)

Corinne's reworked story /Rumplestiltskin obviously, and a lot of his DisneyVerse backstory at least relationship wise is a very retooled version of beats from his OUAT backstory

Regina influenced some of Eva, at least outfit and more heroically written Regina wise

Zelena sort of inspired Hélène

Gave Idunna two sisters based on her having two in OUAT but they're not really important plot wise

Monroeville backstory as a sort of non evil spelled Storybrooke

Mallow's father getting turned into a black fox as a reference to Lilith's father being Zorro

Gothel being part of a flower name witch cult was cuz she was a dryad or whatever in OUAT

Amelia exists due to Emma and so Heinrich since Henry's such a big part of Emma's story

Probably more but those are the main ones that stick out to me, and there'll likely be more in the future:)

Season 4 of Once Upon A Time is weird.

I Will be fighting the writers of the first half of season 4 in the Tesco's carpark at midnight. WTF were they thinking???? Bo Peep is a slave owning war mongerer????? Who BRANDS people?? ELSA????????? With Frozen accurate backstory???? Ingrid was okay but they DIDN'T NEED ELSA FIR THAT STORY TO WORK! It probably would've worked better without Elsa - and I dont dislike OUAT Elsa, but she didnt need to be there and it probably would've improved the season if she wasn't there.

Tho the queer villain throuple of Cruella, Ursula & Maleficent is very fun. And make the second half of season 4 a lot better than the first.

I have pretty mixed feelings about the author tho, like hes interesting in concept, and the execution isn't the worse, but it could be better.

Regina is perfect as always (I love her) (too much) (shes so pretty) (I'd let the evil queen kill me) (I wanna raise Henry with her and be her wife) (I cant tho) (so Emma & Regina should kiss) (but I do actually like Robin)

Robert Carlyle is amazing as Mr Gold and Rumple still.

I kinda hate Snow this season, she stole Maleficent's baby, cursed the baby & only regretted it upon realising it was human, hides things from Emma, shames Emma for her magic & considers letting Emma get rid of it, and more.

Once Upon a Time season 4B thoughts

I’m rewatching OUAT and I wanted to share some of my opinions on each season!

- I think the life she always wanted was for you to not be evil

- Camelot mention

- Okay that’s actually kinda nice

- Rumbelle travelling together would be so cute

- Robin… stop brooding and get a DIVORCE

- When is Marian Zelena? Waiting for my girl to come back

- Wow that’s cool of Marian

- Still annoying though

- Yeah… don’t call me grandma

- A dalmatian… Cruella?

- Oh no she got kidnapped!

- Bye Robin lol

- You kidnap my girl, you will die

- “Why do you care about me?” “… I don’t” HE WAS GOING TO SAY I LOVE YOU

- Rumple getting exposed…

- This is making me so anxious omg

- Oooh belle with the dagger

- Omg she’s gonna command him to cross

- “Your true love is power” omg nooooo

- This is DEVASTATING

- NOOOOOOOOO

- I’M CRYING THIS IS SO SAD

- “Everyone deserves their happy ending” except rumple apparently

- I LOVE this interpretation of Cruella!

- Her animal control powers are so cool and I love the green smoke like in her movie

- All the little details in this show are perfection

- Like Cruella’s favourite song being the Cruella de Vil song from the movie

- Ooh emma doesn’t trust her parents

- Noooooo not the mom

- Ohhhhh yikes backstory

- I like how they sympathized/redeemed Ursula and Maleficent but when they got to Cruella they were like nope she’s just a psychopath

- Emma’s going dark omg just about to punch that guy

- Ooh rumple is going to beat will’s ass

- “Alright scrappy” lol

- SHE LIED

- Emma should have mentioned that she knows her birth mother

- Nooooo that is so sad that Emma never got a good family as a kid

- She got copped out so many times (Ingrid, these people)

- Okay the fact that Zelena tricked Robin into getting her pregnant is very yikes

How I feel about the characters this season

Love: Zelena, Hook, Emma

Like: Cruella, Belle, Ursula, Maleficent, August

Neutral: Rumple (it pains me to put him here), Lily, David, Snow, Henry, The Apprentice, Will Scarlet

Dislike: Regina, Robin

Hate: Isaac

Season rating: 6/10

I really like Cruella, Ursula, and Maleficent! I think the writers made really cool interpretations of their characters. I was not a fan of Rumbelle not being together, Regina and Robin getting a lot of focus, and Isaac. I HATE ISAAC. The season was pretty engaging though. Probably would have rated it lower if not for the villain girlboss trio (and Zelena).
