An Au where Saeran living a life like how Saeyoung expected him to have...

I've been considering an Au in which Saeran lives a regular life, considerably superior to Saeyoung if he hadn't been taken by the Mint Eyes in the first place. In this Au, Saeyoung still went to the agency to work as an informant and hide from his father, leaving Saeran in the care of V and Rika as promised. Rika is a stable mental person in a relationship with V, and they would help Saeran achieve a proper life by ensuring he received the necessary education. Saeran is a bright student who is constantly at the top of his class. Because of his gentle and reassuring attitude, he has many friends and crushes. He was enrolled in college, studying in a major he enjoys, and making everything that we wants.

But his heart would wrench in sorrow at times because he still missed Saeyoung as much as he used to, and he wondered how his twin was doing or if he was still alive. When he missed him, he would keep a diary about Saeyoung and constantly prayed that he was safe.

Being apart from Saeran has never been easy for Saeyoung, so he begged Rika to tell him how he was doing, and Rika provided Saeyoung a photo of Saeran from a high school graduation ceremony. Saeyoung was delighted and sobbing because he knew Saeran was fine and that God had answered his prayer, even if he was still living in hidden. But Saeyoung didn't mind; as long as happiness finds Saeran, he'll be satisfied. But, as grateful as he is, he still wishes and hopes that he can reach Saeran even once. So he had been stalking Saeran from afar, smiling as he observed him, but he didn't dare to get too close because it could affect Saeran because he isn't meant to have a family at his agency.

Saeyoung would often leave a present on Saeran's doorstep without revealing who sent it, along with a note congratulating him. Saeran had no idea who was sending the gifts over the past few days and couldn't think of anyone. Saeyoung, as greedy as he has become and wanting to meet his long-lost brother, hacks into Saeran's laptop and leaves a clue of an address, password, and other information on his screen without revealing who he will be meeting. Saeran hesitated since it sounded unsafe, but his heart kept encouraging him to go for it because he had a feeling it would be something "huge" and this was the only chance he had.

Saeyoung had been waiting, fidgeting his fingers anxiously and about to break down in tears. He knew it was a risky move, but he missed Saeran so much that he was prepared to sacrifice. He sprang out of his chair as soon as his door opened, and his heart fell.

Saeran was genuinely surprised the moment he turned his body back toward Saeran, and in seconds he wraps his arms around Saeyoung, he couldn't believe his eyes or this moment, because Saeyoung is in his arms, alive and breathing, and Saeran missed him so much, he couldn't breathe properly, with tears, just being thankful that his brother that he longed for is now in front of him.

Saeyoung couldn't stop crying as he returned the hug and apologised to Saeran for not telling him ahead of time and how difficult it was for him to leave his brother. Saeran shook his head, understanding that Saeyoung's intention is for his welfare, and he realised that Saeyoung sacrificed his happiness for Saeran's sake.

I'm dying to see this Au. Saeran would not leave Saeyoung with his agency, so he is doing everything he can to assist him, because he wants to live with his brother as they promised. In this Au, we may have his father after them, so they can work together to finally finish his father one and for all, and finally, finally they can live together. This is just a rough idea so, haha.

If my mom sees a significant amount of blood she gets lightheaded, and has fainted on some occasions. Once it happened when we were kids, I wasn't there to witness it but I heard the story from my dad. Basically my brothers, around 7 or 8 at the time, were playing outside while my mom was making their lunch, and she accidentally cut her finger. It wasn't anything serious, but it drew a fair bit of blood and she passed out. My dad saw this and rushed over, but he didn't really know what to do so he just sort of started slapping her to wake her up (not recommended, but he had no idea and panicked)

At that exact moment my brothers both came in from playing, and all they saw was our mom unconscious on the floor and our dad slapping her. So, like, without even saying a word to each other they both just INSTANTLY start whaling on him, like, full blown attack mode to defend our mom. Which obviously didn't help the situation, but she did wake up and everything was fine.

Now our dad says that he's actually really glad they attacked him over what they thought was going on, because it means he raised good boys. And I still think that's true, they're very good boys.

My father was martyred by Israel on 10 October 2023 after sacrificing his care in hospital so the injured children could take priority. Today would have been his 60th birthday. He was always selfless, kind, and giving for others. My father gave up everything for me to be able to have a better life, because that is what he always dreamed for me and my sister. The world suffered a great loss when he died, and my heart is always with him and every Palestinian who has lost someone.

In his honour and memory, I would love for anyone who is able to do so to consider donating to The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.

The PCRF is an amazing organisation that does so much for those in Gaza right now, including helping provide food, water and medicine. You can donate any amount you are able to- there is no minimum! My father would have given his very last cent if he saw the way Palestine was continuing to suffer after over 100 days with this limited aid, so I know celebrating him by helping others is the least he would have wanted.

One of my biggest nitpicks in fiction concerns the feeding of babies. Mothers dying during/shortly after childbirth or the baby being separated form the mother shortly after birth is pretty common in fiction. It is/was also common enough in real life, which is why I think a lot of writers/readers don't think too hard about this. however. Historically, the only reason the vast majority of babies survived being separated from their mother was because there was at least one other woman around to breastfeed them. Before modern formula, yes, people did use other substitutes, but they were rarely, if ever, nutritionally sufficient.

Newborns can't eat adult food. They can't really survive on animal milk. If your story takes place in a world before/without formula, a baby separated from its mother is going to either be nursed by someone else, or starve.

It doesn't have to be a huge plot point, but idk at least don't explicitly describe the situation as excluding the possibility of a wetnurse. "The father or the great grandmother or the neighbor man or the older sibling took and raised the baby completely alone in a cave for a year." Nope. That baby is dead I'm sorry. "The baby was kidnapped shortly after birth by a wizard and hidden away in a secret tower" um quick question was the wizard lactating? "The mother refused to see or touch her child after birth so the baby was left to the care of the ailing grandfather" the grandfather who made the necessary arrangements with women in the neighborhood, right? right? OR THAT GREAT OFFENDER "A newborn baby was left on the doorstep and they brought it in and took care of it no issues" What Are You Going to Feed That Baby. Hello?

Like. It's not impossible, but arrangements are going to have to be made. There are some logistics.
