Anywaaaaaay, Jesse might’ve been able to pull this off in S2+S3 if he had his full TP and knew Miracle Make was a thing he could even do at the time. But even if he did pull it off, simply Thanos-snapping the Overlord out of existence without proper consideration would have adverse effects on Lloyd soooooo not a end-all solution there

The Omega would have the ability to “destroy the miracle” if Jesse tries, being the most destructive creature in existence, so yes that would cancel each other out more or less. And as for when we get around the S10/Crystalized/The Finale arc, the reasons Jesse wouldn’t be able to do this are much different, but spoilerific.

Wizardess Heart: Personal thoughts about seasons and routes Part 2

(This post contains a bit of spoilers.)

Starting from S6 basically 90% of the routes are in consecutive order, but the new romance starts every route. So basically, all the other data is maintained and only the romance data is reset every route.

It's pretty sad that the MC and LI swear eternal love in some route, and then the moment you start the next route, they remember everything except for their love.

The stories focus on the "plot" more compared to earlier seasons and that's why the romance kinda lacks compared to those seasons.

S6 is the best season in prefect mc routes. Good chemistry overall, well balanced romance, and interesting plot.

Zeus? Cute relationship with good chemistry. Interesting story. Well written. (Let's forget about his betrayal for now)

Klaus2 is ummm actually this route is the least memorable route in S6... and his arrogance never goes anywhere but at least he was less bossier than S2

Hiro... his route is the best imo. Not only the story included interesting dynamics, but I honestly think mc and Hiro made the most well-balanced, healthy romance with nice chemistry. Smooth development from comrades to couple and they really care for each other a lot. And sweet as ever.

Imo S7 is kinda more like good friends route

I like Alfonse as a character but don't really like his route... mostly because Klaus just gets in the way all the time with that (spoiler)stupid fake dating thing

Caesar the piggy boy... idk if mc really did love him even in his own route. He likes her from the very beginning, ok that's nice, but after finishing the route it was like... his confession just made her more generous to him? His love for mc just worked as some kind of excuse for what happens afterwards about him. The most memorable character was Mischa and the most memorable scene was the eating battle.

Lucious is who I mentioned a lot in previous posts, I would just say he should have been with Claudia.

I think no one in s7 had real romance with mc, but still Alfonse and Lucious were very good friends in their routes whereas Caesar was... relationship itself went nowhere

Starting from S8 either MC or LI is already smitten to their partner from the very beginning... otherwise it's just a very rushed shallow romance

Hugo is enemy to lover, better version of Leon but it just seems he has zero chemistry with mc.

Hisoka idk why mc brought a random merchant guy to the academy and seemed she was just smitten with this guy from the start somehow? And she followed him around like a puppy.

Willem another enemy to lover. But it just seemed they added a drama of (spoiler)"they actually met in the past"+ "miracle tears to save the guy" nothing more memorable than that.

I think the "plot" they focused on started to lose track from about S9? I mean I still dunno why that season exists... the phantom thief appeared out of nowhere and tower of memories stuff has nothing to do with dragonkins or future plot. Kinda useless season.

In Nox and Rex routes, the devs did it really dirty. At least in the other routes, mc starts with no interest in the other guy and no other guy is romantically interested in her(I mean after s6) but these two routes create a very... annoying love triangle. Plus in Rex route, this girl switches to another guy just because (spoiler)she's disappointed with Nox's identity

I don't think either Nox or Rex made a proper healthy relationship with mc. Both were just smitten with her at first sight and kinda forcing their feelings for her?

Gray is kinda creepy considering he basically knew everything about her from the start. Like he was stalking her for her whole life...

S10 and S11 at least make sense but still romance is mostly nowhere

What I don't like about s10 and s11 is that there're some fake routes kinda made for... surprise for canon routes

Since s6 there were a lot of routes that indicated there was still something left unsolved(which will be in another route), but at least the issue on that route was solved properly. But in those fake routes nothing was solved properly, and makes me um... feel what everything happened there just went to waste? Idk

Those routes end like "I thought so but..." that sounds so damn ominous and incomplete (Yes you Lars, and you Florin too)

And then there's a guy who's got real hot looks but got nothing in his route (Looking at you Mr Auburne)

At least the canon routes, which are the last routes of each season, are written fine I think.

Clive. Maybe a controversial one, but mc shares rather dark side of herself in front of him unlike when she's with the other guys and I think that's a uncommon yet nice way to build relationship. Nidhogg was very cute too.

Light. Him and mc sharing a lot of time in the same place made a natural growth of their bond. I liked it.

Last of all, it's a shame that Felix and Vain and Viggo never got their routes... I mean look at their beautiful faces how could those faces never got a chance to stand as a proper LI daaaaang

The Masked Singer: S10 E12 — Finale Predictions

So, instead of doing a running commentary for tonight’s episode (which I’ll likely watch back on the TiVo at some point tonight as the Survivor 45 finale is also tonight), I’m going to recap who I think the Final 4 are and how I think they’ll finish.

Without further ado, here are my predictions and who I think they are.

Fourth Place: Donut 🍩

So, we saw a lot of clues like a bow and arrow, that he sang with Ray Charles, and we know that he is an older celebrity and a widower. This celebrity has been married three times, and although his most recent marriage lasted only around 4 years, his wife did pass away this year. This celebrity is also an accomplished country singer, having released nine studio albums, and was a co-founder of the Children’s Miracle Network (an organization that raises money for children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada).

Who is Donut 🍩?: John Schneider

Third Place 🥉: Sea Queen 🌊 👸

I honestly didn’t need clues to figure out who the Sea Queen is. I could tell just by the sound of her voice. The clues referenced her many acting projects in addition to her music career. Most notably, clues referred to Denzel Washington (whom she co-starred with in Training Day) and two clues referring to Tyler Perry (who adapted, produced, and directed the film For Colored Girls, which was adapted from a 1975 theatrical work by Ntozake Shange). I was a little surprised to see her reach the finale. Unfortunately, I don’t think her voice will quite stand up against Cow and Gazelle, but she should be proud of herself for getting to the Finale.

Who is Sea Queen 🌊 👸?: Macy Gray

Runner-Up 🥈: Gazelle 🦌

Like Donut 🍩, this celebrity is primarily known for her acting work more than for singing. The clues seem to suggest connections to Pretty Little Liars and the fact that her home state was Hawaii. I think I may have guessed Lucy Hale at one point, but later ruled her out because she’s not from Hawaii and also Gazelle mentioned that she was married. (Lucy Hale, as far as I know, is not married.) She’s got a pretty good voice, but I think the next celebrity has more overall stage presence and will probably be crowned the season 10 winner.

Who is Gazelle 🦌?: Janel Parrish

Winner 🏆: Cow 🐮

No surprise, I think Cow’s going to take the title. It took me a little time to match the clues to his voice, but ultimately I think I have an idea of who this celebrity is. Millennials like myself had this celebrity’s music as part of their teenage soundtrack, both from songs he performed himself and those he wrote for others (including, but not limited to, Beyoncé). Some of the clues referenced his upbringing in Las Vegas. This celebrity is known for his incredible stage presence and I wouldn’t be surprised if Cow won the whole thing.

Elisabeth’s ESC Semi-Final 1 Recap (Part 1)

Now that I have slept and I had my coffee, I can finally sit down, go through the evening again, and give a few thoughts about yesterday’s first Semi Final:

Atmosphere and Hosts:

First of all, the event location is AMAZING, the hosts were really good and charming. I had no doubts Torino would organise an amazing show and they did, chapeau already I am looking forward to Thursday and Saturday!

If it weren’t for the results of the Semi Finals, this would have been a near perfect evening, not gonna lie!

Intro Song:

The whole intro act was loud, over the top, cheesy, just like I like it. Well done, nothing to complain about, a big spectacle and a solid start to the Eurovision Week.

Albania (Ronela Hajati - Sekret)

It was quite catchy, but also not amazing. The singer missed her notes quite a few times (probably due to nerves which I totally understand) and overall it was just not doing it for me.

Latvia (Citi Zeni - Eat Your Salad)

Clear winners of this first semi finals, and I can’t wait for them to release the audience voting numbers. The song is catchy, it’s fun, the outfits were ON POINT, their stage performance was great, they just had so much fun, and it’s one of these songs that will live on in the collective memories of Eurovision Fans, for years to come.

Also, they got the whole hall to sing “Pussy”. I will forever be bitter. I am so so sorry Latvia, we let you down, you should be very proud of them.

Lithuania (Monika Liu - Sentimentai)

I do like that song, despite it being slow (usually a big minus for me). It was well sung, well performed, and ... kinda cute. Not mad she made it to the finale, not at all. Well done. Not my favourite of the evening, but happy to hear it again.

Switzerland (Marius Bear - Boys Do Cry)

Boring. So so boring. Sorry Switzerland, I usually like your entries, and I have heard other stuff by that artist that I liked, but that was just really boring and I do not care for it at all.

Slovenia (LPS - Disko)

I liked it, it was a solid entry, the keyboarder had SO MUCH FUN and I’m into it! Liked the outfits, liked the artists, the song was good. Nothing too special, but I would have liked to see them in the finale. But alas, they didn’t make it. But well done, guys, and special shout out to the enthusiastic keyboard player :)

Ukraine (Kalush Orchestra - Stefania)

A lot of people will say they will win just because of sympathy points. Maybe they will, who knows. That said, I did like that song. I liked last year’s entry more (one of my all time favourites!) but this year’s song is really good as well. Loved the chorus especially, the wild outfits, and the random flute (?) solo. Great overall, so if they win it won’t just be for sympathy that’s for sure.

Bulgaria (Intelligent Music Project - Intention)

Any entry that is a rock song is a win in my book. That said, I felt pretty “meh” about that one. A pretty standard rock song that I wouldn’t mind hearing on the radio, but probably wouldn’t seek out intentionally. Not surprised they didn’t make it, but I would take that song before any of the ballads without a second of hesitation.

Netherlands (S10 - De Diepte)

I honestly don’t know what to say about this. I forgot every note the moment it was gone. I cannot even say that I like or dislike or hate it, this song leaves no whatsoever impression to me. I have zero feelings about that song. It was well sung I guess? I don’t remember any wrong notes? How this made the finale is a miracle to me, (how anyone remebered it even existed is a mircale to me!) but good for them I guess? But don’t expect me to like or even remember that song the second it is over...

Moldova (Zdob si Zdub - Trenuletul)

Yes. Yes yes ALL the yes! It was weird and crazy. Focus on ANY one of that group at any point of the song and you will be entertained (the drummer, by god the drummer, I cannot stop staring at him he is amazing!). I didn’t expect them to make it to the finale because I thought it could be TOO weird, but they made it and I am very happy. I will be rooting for you, Moldova, good luck in the finale!

decided to catch up on 🇫🇷 bc im sick with nothing better to do and for a minute there the fever rly got me bc i was delusional enough to think hey. are they actually going to explore privilege and class and nepotism etc. bc anais’s dad telling her she doesn’t need to bother with college bc he’ll get her a position at his rich friend’s company was framed as a bad thing, smth she was clearly uncomfortable with. and like, actually exploring class = inevitably portraying tiff in a negative light bc of how rich she is which deborah is usually allergic to doing, but anais did rightfully yell at her for being a bad friend the other day, so maybe??? maybe midway thru filming s10 she had a crisis and change of heart??? maybe by some miracle????

but that clip with redouane…lmao. of course she would find a way to turn anais having a well connected father as something that sucks for anais. ofc redouane being upset she’s not taking his project seriously is turned into a Everyone Is Fighting A Battle moment and ofc it’s framed as “you’re just lucky your parents believe in you!!!” when he’s frustrated his mom wants him to study law when he doesn’t want to and instead wants to show his family he can make a career out of his actual passion of film. nvm that one could argue his mom insisting on law over the arts is her not believing in him, nvm all the many many nuances with this topic, nvm the inherent racial & class layers to their dynamic and this conversation as a whole. nvmmmmmm.

do you have any fic recs for underrated fics? like under 5k hits?

yes! there are a ton of fics in my bookmarks with less than 5k hits, so it was difficult to choose a reasonable amount. here are some of my favorites:

in this louisiana bar, where s10 cas meets s1 Dean and offers him some nice reassurance and comfort. very sweet. I recommend ANYTHING by fleeceframe in general, I love the way they write Dean and Cas. another underrated fleeceframe fav of mine is it's such a mystery (the way you know me)

*hold onto your voice, hold onto your breath, I cannot BELIEVE this fic has less than 5k hits. Dean rescues Cas from the Empty. Orpheus and Eurydice vibes (in a way). The writing is beautiful. Absolutely love this fic.

finally watched the eps and my thoughts are this. sunny is never going to get back to what it was up until abt s10/11/12, partially because they cannot do this while including like. tiktok and insta stories and whatever else its just fundamentally disruptive to What The Show Is and i dont think theyre going to stop because rob needs us all to know hes posting hole on tiktok or whatever's going on with that, but partially because they just crossed into this territory with season thirteen and season fourteen that they cannot erase and can therefore never fully recover from.

THAT BEING SAID. based on these two episodes i think that they have, by whatever miracle, gotten as close to what they used to be as is possible. sunny feels very much back to its roots, both literally (artemis is back, "don cheadle" appearance, fucking PEPPER JACK W THE THERMOS) and figuratively. one of my main issues w s13/14 is. ok and bear with me here for a second. but theyre like... mean to eachother. and it sounds so dumb because like its sunny remember in season three when mac and frank started a sweatshop in the basement and got dee and charlie into it. but theres this particular vindictive hatefulness that they regard everything, primarily eachother with whereas they used to just be regular assholes. they went from "poor social skills and huge dicks" to "actively hostile and agressive to everyone, primarily eachother". and its especially prominent w the way they treat mac and dee, particularly interms of them being respectively a gay man and a woman ive made multiple long ranty posts about this so im not getting into it but..... yeah you know what im talking about. and that just feels a lot a lot less. not one joke at the expense of mac's sexuality and w dee it was back to your typical screaming "you bitch !" instead of everyone going on for eighty-three seconds about how they wish dee would drop dead of an aneurysm every time she opened her mouth.

tldr i liked these eps and i do honestly think s15 is going to be good :]
