Sometimes we may come to the awareness that rather than genuinely caring about someone with a pure heart, we care about them for our own sake. A rather selfish love, that causes us to be often impatient, unhappy, and offended when we don't receive something in return for our devotion. But true agape love from the heart does not ask for anything in return. It is focused solely on extending compassion to another, without hope of gratitude or attention. This is a type of love that is very hard for us humans to emulate. Yet it is the very kind of love that Christ showed us when He died on the cross. So let us ask Jesus to teach us how to love selflessly from the heart ❤

Be Spirit Led Even When No One Else See

and whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

Colossians 3:23 KJV

Too often we are caught up in our emotions, feelings, thoughts, and plans that we omit anything that doesn't align with "me".

Some things are more important than birthday celebrations, kickbacks, work, etc. There lies something great in going to a place where the Spirit guides you. Whether God has planned for you to meet someone for your good or they're good it is more important than a few minutes of "enjoyment".

I believe our days, weeks, months, and years drain us so because we aren't learning that self isn't the most important thing. Yes, take care of yourself. But don't use that as an excuse to serve yourself. When you look to do things that only serve you then you miss out on God-given opportunities that could be life changing for others and you.

Today, be encouraged to be led by the Spirit and do right even when others don't see. Because the Lord God sees all things. It is His thoughts of you that matter over everything else.

May the abundance of God's love, grace, and joy meet you everywhere you go.
