Ooo! If you're open to 2k3 era fic recs I have.. A lot more than I anticipated when I started this ask, whoops. Sorry for the wall of text lol;;;

Amicitia Revenant (fanfiction.net/u/2180395/). Tbh everything they've written is good but "A Paper Wall" and its related fics are a personal favorite! An exploration of how the boys readjust after Leo comes back from Japan while also trying to turn the new lair into a home.

Calliopechild (fanfiction.net/u/937330/). "The Virtues Of Knocking" and "Trial By Fire" singlehandedly made me love the headcanon of Backup Medic Raph, while "The End of a Melody" is a bittersweet exploration of Karai & her final battle with Leo (character death cw).

NightWalker3 (fanfiction.net/u/322808/ & archiveofourown.org/users/nightwalker/). Lots of interesting oneshots, mostly on FF since not everything has been reposted to Ao3. "Maybe Just The End" is a favorite that's on both, tho!

StillThunder86 (fanfiction.net/u/2596218/). "White", in which Leo takes a risk to rescue a brother from captivity, and the sequel "Colorblind", which is one part flashback and one part recovery. A more lighthearted affair is "Of Booze and Sammiches", a two-shot in which the responsible brothers are irresponsible and deal with the consequences in the morning.

"Getting To Know You" by Vaeru (fanfiction.net/s/5951277/1/), a series of April-centric oneshots set in the early days of knowing the turtles.

"We Are The Klunk" by PlainSimpleGarak (fanfiction.net/s/3836658/1/). The turtles & their family deal with an injured little brother, told from the POV of a surprisingly insightful Klunk.

Thinkin bout in scarlet ribbons as an otome, in shoujo beat manga, there always seems to be a built in “rival” that isn’t the bucci gang and sr reader runs into an old crush or a really nice guy and goes on a date, I feel like they’d follow her around “secretly” (sr reader can literally hear fugo yelling) like in Ouran when the hosts followed Haruhi a lot. Idk I love the fact it’s supposed to work as an otome, but otome’s have a storyline for each character you choose so im always wondering what the “big issue/scenario” that happens in each storyline like in mysme when each character had a main issue and resolution that built feelings up. Idk the scarlet ribbons brainrot is very much in my head oopsies but seriously thank u for writing this series I come to this account everyday wondering what ur up to even tho I don’t play genshin and im not a chrollo girl lol! Thank u for writing and sharing it with us <3333

i've played around with this idea a lot!!! there’s something somewhat similar to what you described in lunch club, but maybe i’ll write a fic that explores the idea of a rival outside of the bucci gang more... i could see that potentially being a thing on fugo or mista’s route. as for how i imagined the setup of the routes/the main conflict, this is my extremely rough outline of how i’d want it to be aside from the endings (in order of what routes you should complete from first to last).

Guido Mista - “Pretty Vacant”

Mista always going out of his way to be paired with SR Reader on jobs after he joins the gang, a large emphasis on him trying to get Sex Pistols under control and the shenanigans involved with that. He’s always trying to ask her out/be flirty but it mostly goes over her head. She says something about viewing him like a silly older brother and it ruins his week.

In a desperate bid to get closer to SR Reader, he asks if she can teach him the basics of ballet. Makes up some story about how it’s his long lost dream that was never fully realized. She immediately gets all excited over this development, starts mumbling about routines/stretches, how the sooner they get started the better, etc. Mista thinks he hit the jackpot. Until he learns just how intensive ballet is. She makes it look so easy, and wow, her body is easy on the eyes... now it’s his turn and uh. His muscles take a long time to recover.

Since this is the more lighthearted route, the main conflict stems from Mista trying to claw himself out of the friendzone. He gets his chance to shine during a firefight, Clint Eastwood style, saying cool (but slightly cheesy) one-liners while fighting side by side with SR Reader. He’s living his best action movie life after flirting with a brick wall for months.

Narancia Ghirga - “Walk This Way”

SR Reader visits Narancia every day while he’s hospitalized and recovering from the eye treatment Bucciarati paid for. He’s somewhat aloof at first, but slowly opens up as she discusses music and Western culture that he’s interested in. He begins to look forward to her visits the most.

Narancia can tell that SR Reader has mixed feelings about him taking Polpo’s test/becoming a member of Passione, and strives to prove himself as a worthy member. Following some events where he manages to do just that + confronts SR Reader with his chest all puffed out, though she’s confused. Saying she didn’t view him to be immature/unworthy, but rather that she thought he deserved more out of life than being a soldato. She’s always found him to be perfectly capable. He’s then smitten.

The main conflict would come after the events of VA, when SR Reader is given an opportunity to pursue her ballet career again overseas. Narancia doesn’t think she’d accept it, and when he lightheartedly mentions this to her, is surprised when she doesn’t joke back and reaffirm his belief. That’s when he realizes she’s seriously considering the possibility and he’s torn.

Pannacotta Fugo - “May This Be Love”

Fugo almost completely ignores SR Reader for the first week or so following Bucciarati introducing her as the second member of his gang. She doesn’t really take it to heart and keeps on doing her thing. Slowly yet surely, Fugo warms up to hear and begins to find her endearing...

At some point or another, SR Reader asks if he wouldn’t mind driving her to a dance studio since she doesn’t have her license in Italy. Since he finds her a little cute, he accepts, and starts looking forward to the car rides. The two of them have far more in common than he expected. His initial impression is that SR Reader is somewhat of a ditz, but he’s surprised to learn she’s got sharp wit and grounded views on life (if not a touch optimistic). It’s refreshing.

The main conflict for Fugo’s route is mostly him coming to grips with not joining the rest of the team/the image of SR Reader growing further and further away haunting him. Lots of self-loathing on his behalf, guilt, avoiding SR Reader when she tries to reach out to him following the conclusions of VA.

Leone Abbacchio - “Melancholy Man”

Abbacchio’s route starts in the middle of a late night stakeout job that him and SR Reader have been tasked with — mostly with her musings and him barely paying attention. He’s gotten good at tuning out her ramblings at this point. Although, she suddenly makes a comment about his complexion being paler than usual. Unbeknownst to her, his nightmares about past events have been more visceral, causing some sleep deprivation. He’s surprised that she managed to pick up on it since he wears makeup.

SR Reader goes from “annoying” classification to “semi acceptable” classification in Abbacchio’s mind. He has something of an appreciation for her never prying too much, yet expressing genuine care and concern over his well being. He wonders how she manages to strike such a balance. Abbacchio is in absolute denial over forming any romantic feelings for her for the longest time, thinking himself unworthy of pursuing love/happiness after his tumultuous past.

Abbacchio’s main conflict is his refusal to open up and occasionally verbally snapping at SR Reader whenever she encroaches on vulnerable territory. Especially since she does her best to challenge his unhealthy beliefs rather than standing idly by as he engages in self-destructive behavior.

Bruno Bucciarati - “Miss You”

It’d start during the few months that SR Reader was living underneath Bruno’s roof until she had enough money to rent her own place. She ends up finding a picture of little Bruno with his parents while cleaning as a way to thank him, talks to him about it, he opens up a tiny bit. Then cuts himself off, thinking about how he needs to maintain a professional image with his team’s members.

Bruno realizes how empty and cold his home feels when SR Reader eventually moves out. He’s confused, since on one hand, he’s proud of her getting on her own feet again — shouldn’t that make him happy? He reminisces about how her presence brings him back to his childhood, since the two of them made meals together and almost acted like his parents before his mother wanted a divorce.

His main difficulty stems from wanting to not ruin the friendly relationship he has with SR Reader now by pursuing her, especially since he’s technically in a position of power as leader. He wants to be content with the possibility of her being in a relationship with the other members (perhaps Narancia comes to him seeking advice on getting SR Reader’s attention), but it never sits well with him. So he’s in conflict with himself over everything.

Giorno Giovanna - “Diamonds and Pearls”

Takes places a few months before the events of Vento Aureo. SR Reader is at the airport in Naples after having returned from a trip to visit her home, Giorno mistakes her for a foreigner, strikes up friendly conversation before offering his taxi service at a discount price. She apologizes and informs him that she already has a ride before thanking him and running off. He thinks it’s a shame he couldn’t swindle any money from her since her ride looks expensive (Bucciarati’s rental...).

Giorno finds that aside from Bucciarati, SR Reader is the member most cordial with him, always going out of her way so that he can feel included. She ultimately affirms his belief of being someone he can rely on while battling one of the Stand users sent to capture Trish. From then on out, they have mutual respect for one another.

SR Reader coming to terms with what went down during VA and some lingering bitterness toward Giorno for being the one who (somewhat) put things into motion is his main conflict. He also clears out her past debts with Passione, so she’s given the opportunity to leave the organization altogether, even if he wants her to stay by his side deep down.

Hey so Gemini sun is very adaptable and playful. They like to be involved in a lot of things because they get bored easily and need things to stimulate their mind. Can take on a lot of information and somehow manage to store it all in their brain. Because of this, they can take on a lot of identities and interests. And Gemini is lighthearted so they don’t necessarily think too much about it they just like to go with the flow and do what makes them happy. But some people like others to have a specific personality or to be boxed in somehow and Gemini doesn’t like to stick to just one thing. So I think there can be issues with people perceiving Gemini as two-faced even tho they’re just chilling lol and they don’t usually have bad intentions.

Sun in the 4th could show a big part of your personality being influenced by family or childhood. There could be a strong connection to your roots or a deep fascination with it. We also rated our survivability in all of our collective games, since Mars isn't an author! Fun stuff! Spoilers, though: it’s really not looking so great for me (Dani) but that’s fine!!! 😌

1. I’m a photographer as well as a graphic artist (but not like. A painter/drawer kind of artist!) and, on a general level, a maker and a tinkerer!

2. Fountain pens! I only write with ink, and only with fountain pens, and I use bottled inks/converters!

3. I’m pretty eclectic with music, but my top genres are alt rock, indie, indie pop, etc, as well as top 40s and some rap.

4. I feel like this is the hardest one for me to answer? Favorite movies/shows? Avatar: the Last Airbender has been a favorite show of mine since I was a little kid, but I have a harder time thinking of shows I would call a favorite in recent years. There are shows I’ve liked, and a lot of shows I’ve watched. But I’m picky! And demanding! It takes a lot to earn a place in Dani’s Trophy Case of Favorites. 😌 I would say I quite liked A Quite Place (movie), and I liked Us (movie). When it comes to TV shows, I have a hard time being pleased with them if they don’t end well. As a result, I have a penchant for a good limited series/miniseries (because they’re stories that have an end in mind and the plot reflects that, dagnabbit).

5. Heh. Okay.

In The Goodfellows? I think I stand I chance. I can exercise my sparkling wit and lovable personality to the best effect. I’m gonna give myself an 8/10 survivability rating. Even if I don’t have the right skills, I can go crying to the person who does and they’ll save me. Maybe.

In Creatures’ Cradle? I’m super $**!%d. 😌 1/10 survivability rating. And that 1 is me being nice to myself. The day the apocalypse breaks out I would probably be patient 0. I am self-aware. I would not do well in an apocalypse. Zombies care not for aforementioned sparkling wit and lovable personality, and I have all the muscle of a boiled spaghetti noodle. So it’s a no go.

Greater Than Gods (Cruz): Well. I’m going to be optimistic. And say that I have the wisdom not to do things I shouldn’t do and not to rock boats I shouldn’t rock. I’m going to give myself a 7/10 based on insider information, but also based on reckless optimism!

Vardir (Cruz): Cruz says this is a lighthearted game, so 10/10 LOL.

When it Hungers (Roast): I’m giving myself a nice, mediocre 5/10. I think I could put my mind to work here; I joke that I’m the village idiot, but I’m actually pretty smart! Unfortunately, I’m also curious, and maybe a little bad with authorities who won’t answer my questions. So I knocked off a lot of points due to the fact that I’d probably poke the metaphorical bear. So it’s a real coin flip as to whether I’d really make it or not.

Orthall Bay (Nines): Considering the genre is “horror” and the game intro includes the words “monster” and “maim,” I’m giving myself a whooping, enthusiastic 3/10. Yes, folks, I am that confident in myself! Once again, I can’t charm the socks off a monster (or can I?), so one of my greatest weapons is snatched from beneath my feet. Alas!

1. Beloved I’m a college student in the middle of a pandemic... i can hardly even write LOL i do draw at times which u can see in my personal blog (nothing too good really) and i used to do karate before things went to shit <3

2. Nothing niche I believe? All I do is leave Netflix as bg noise every day n play popular videgames (genshin)

Greater than Gods: Highly situational, the world GtG is set in is as broad as the real world LOL so I don’t have an universal answer. But keeping it vague, and knowing my own personality, I feel like 5/10. depends on my luck.

Vardir: 10/10 no one dies in Vikgade, unless you’re a hunter but I wouldn’t be a hunter <3

Others’ WIPs

I'm gonna give myself a solid 5/10 in all other WIPs because y'all aren't writing lighthearted stories either. I feel like as long as I avoid the role of the MC I will be mostly fine. I hope. But as Dani said I'm also prone to fight the wrong person and dig my own grave so 😌

1. Well, writing is a very, very, very, distant hobby since Words Hard, but I like to crochet and sculpt a little! Anything to do with fiddling with my hands and I’m good to go. And like, debatable but graphic design is my passion [insert clown emoji here since Tumblr said No]

2. Oh yeah a bunch! DnD yelling at people, thinking of arson, crocheting, rock climbing and simply vibing. I got into podcasts a few years ago and I’m always looking for more recs, so if you have some, hmu 😤

3. Pls,,,,my music taste is,,,so weird do not let me expose myself with lack of consistency but uhh. Current songs that are stuck in my head include; Cult of Dionysus , Achilles Come Down and The Last Shanty

4. If you’ve ever spoken to me before, I probably yelled about Pacific Rim to you or at you. Plus I love all The Mummy films and really enjoyed Castlevania (s3 excluded, we do not perceive that) as well!

Alright, let’s go! I don’t have a WIP because again, words hard, but like, considering how feral I am when not tryna seem professional hm...

The Goodfellows: I wanna say a solid 7/10 because I’d hardcore vibe with the Traveler and probably instigate so much nonsense. I can also bribe with blueberry cake so maybe.

Creature’s Cradle: maybe a 4/10 and only because of pure spite keeping me alive long enough to smack someone. I’ve prepared for hypothetical zombie apolcapyses and I won’t hesitate to bap, but will be bapped back because I’m weak as hell.

Greater Than Gods: a toss up between 2/10 and 7/10! I can vibe and be chill but I also have terrible impulse control so...

Vardir: hm....I think pretty good survival rates all around? If you ask me to fight then like, okay sure, your knees are mine. So maybe a 8/10?

When it Hungers: .......8/10 just because I’d refuse to die if I can be a cool creature. Living for the aesthetic can and will drag me outta hell. But I’m also clumsy as hell so I’d probably crash as a porcelain or hold a rooster and perish (aka, real rating is a good 3/10)

Orthall Bay: 2/10, nope. Nope I’d be taken out in a heartbeat. Monsters can go pspsps and I’d head straight into the dark creepy forest like a fool if someone comes @ me. Half the time I’ll just assume it’s sfx makeup and vibe until it’s too late.

1. If I'm not writing, I'm usually watching video essays on Youtube. My go-to channels as of right now is Disrupt and Aperture! I just really like their videos. Aside from that, I recently got into podcasts. Currently going through Hello From The Hallowoods and Shelter and Warning, which are made by queer creators!

2. Oh oof, there's quite a bit so I'm just gonna put down one thing. For some reason, I really got into collecting tiny astronaut things? I recently bought this astronaut desk light, and I've got a package coming in for the miniatures I ordered. No purpose for them other than I think they're neat <3

3. I'm a bit private with my music taste (even tho I have Spotify connected on Discord lmao), but there's 5 songs that I'm currently obsessed with. I keep replaying them over and over again. Just squeezing all the serotonin I could get outta them.

4. I can't really say I have a fave TV show or movie because I can't really just pick one, but my current fave is 9-1-1 and Resident Alien. 9-1-1 because I just really love the found-family dynamics and how the show tackles sensitive topics, and Resident Alien because it's lighthearted comedy. My all-time fave movie is Flipped! I have the book too and I like rereading from time to time <3

I like to think I have enough common sense to uhhh not recklessly flip stones that should not be flipped <3 I'm a cautious and skeptic person irl so I think I'll hold up well? Then again, it's a vast environment change and while I can adapt pretty quick, I wouldn't like the lack of control in the unknown.

Vardir: 10/10

Going off what Cruz said, Vardir is lighthearted and focused on personal growth so I think I'll be okay! Self-growth here I come, babey!

Creatures' Cradle: 8/10

Maybe I'm overestimating myself, but I think I'll be able to survive in a supernatural post-apocalyptic world! Ah, but it depends on the motivation though. I like the idea of rebuilding communities and eventually societies, but the survival turmoil would be a constant battle I'd have to overcome. If we're talking survival itself though, I think I'll do well.

1. Too many :'D I knit, I sew, I do carpentry (well, learning), I bake, I'm hammering away at HTML and CSS, my job kind of encourages learning new things and I take that to picking up new hobbies!

2. My time is kind of consumed with school work and work work and WIP work so not a lot of time to pursue niche interests right now. I've been watching a lot of horror game playthroughs, true crime youtubers, and an adorable show on Netflix called the Repair Shop <3

3. My taste in music is "what am I vibing with atm?" I've been listening to a lot of 80's music atm (don't @ me), but also Lo Fang and Kaleo, and whatever spotify recommends me on my discover weekly which is usually complete chaos.

4. I love the Mummy even though it hasn't aged 100% well (I'm a librarian, of course it's one of my gotos LOL), Legally Blonde, Leverage, Jumanji (the original), I'm....very bad at having recent tastes... and very bad at remembering my favorites when asked.

The Goodfellows: I'm a creature of comfort, 5/10 if I can just luxuriate in town and not actually interact with the story sfjkdbsdkf

Creature’s Cradle: I'd like to think I have a 50/50 shot XD 5/10, I want to think I'd be decent at a zombie apocalypse but ultimately would suffer an early fate.

Greater Than Gods: 10/10 if I'm just vibing, less so if I'm involved in the actual story XD

Vardir: I'd still suffer without technology but I can also knit for a living in this world so I'm down 8/10

i drew my wh oc!!

i’ve decided on the name ivory since the previous one was a trigger name for a friend of mine, gonna talk about her under the cut :D long post !

her name is ivory, and as it says, she’s a purebred! she’s around 2000 years old but still going strong. very kind personality - picture zizel and lime combined except she’s a little more awkward - and talkative. she displays more of a kind side around humans, and is always willing to discuss things such as negative ad positive emotions, how they impact others and things like that. and no she doesn’t need glasses but she likes them

she’s a bit of a teaser sort! centuries of interacting with humans has led her to be very adapt with reading faces + recognizing insecurities in other people... so yea she do got the ability to hit it where it hurts. but she only really uses this ability for lighthearted teasing, with rouge being a primary target

(i drew zizel without a ref lol) as you can see she is very tall. 6′6. and she uses this to her advantage as well - she’ll pick up zizel and put her hand on rouges head (which rouge does not like). if you’re curious here’s a height reference:

So yeah zizel only reaches her chest. tiny.

another thing to add is that she has these spicy tentacles as you can see in this drawing:

and these can be hidden at will, though she prefers to keep them out as it’s a pain to keep them secret (similarly to how demons can show a proper form in the day but it’s a nusiance). these tentacles are as a result of working as a guarding monster for a couple hundred years, defending an artifact that the demons enjoy using. as such, she’s out of practice with her human form, and if she’s careless, she’ll begin to transform, and trying to keep the monster at bay can! really hurt! because there’s always the inner desire to have said monster get free (like how demons are naturally breeded to love negativity) and trying to fight the desire isn’t something she has practice with.

and so, she’ll have these ‘outbursts’ where she’ll leak and black wounds will appear - much like noel when he’s trying to fight his transformation as well.

i haven’t written much for this character yet, but i’m planning on inserting a hater demon into ivory’s story - i think i may have talked about her before? cerise, a 13 year old hater demon who had no happiness similar to lime. since she was still young, ivory had decided to take her under her wing - not out of compassion at the time, but because she didn’t wish for cerise to fall for other demons tricks and how to obey the rules. though advancing the relationship, cerise had admitted to ivory that she makes her feel happy. “i never had any happy memories... but you give me some, even though this place is far from good.” this REALLY threw ivory off. demons causing other demons positive emotions??? what??? this was not her intent. alas, she had grown attached to the younger hater, only for the hater to.... fall for another demons tricks. she was framed for the modification of a sacred artifact, and ivory had no choice but to banish her to the other hell. ivory still wonders how she is. she doesn’t want to bring her out temporarily, however, because she knows things aren’t good. and in truth, a part of her is scared that cerise would’ve been desensitized and hardened by the deeper hell, and so she decided to try not to think about her. (though she still wanted to honour cerise, so she wears the flower crown that she made for her. (the heart locket was from susie)) im not quite sure how she and susie had gotten to form the pact but if i ever do figure that part out i’ll let you guys know about it :)

miscellaneous headcanons:

she and zizel are quite close, as they worked together for a short time before ivory had to go to another station. they’re penpals tho zizel will sit in ivorys lap and drink tea and ivory will carry zizel on her shoulders it’s always a fun time

she despises the higher class demons with a PASSION because they’re known for not giving two shits about stuff and she’ll ramble about it angrily

rouge is below her in terms of hierarchy but she doesn’t really mind being berated by the red-head. if anything, it’s funny to her

she firmly believes that showing kindness shouldn’t be strange for demons. she wishes that more demons would help eachother - mainly haters - because she thinks that they can help eachother with their pain. though she doesnt have much room to talk on the matter since she’s a purebred herself

her tentacles (she has about 4) are pointy at the ends, and they’re warm and. sludgey to the touch (like mud). they move involuntarily and tend to just grab things she subconsciously likes (zizel is a victim of this) and whack people when she’s standing next to them. she’s getting better at controlling this though

thinks lime is a tad strange but absolutely adores the cute aesthetic thing she has going on. she values charlottes opinions as well, and likes to talk with her about just anything.

she thinks claire is a bit stupid sometimes but one day she and claire spent like hours talking about feminine things like cute dresses and flower crowns and ivory wished she clda given claire a chance to try on some of the dresses she had kept from her time in the mansion.

absolutely terrified of sirius thinks he’s a tiny gremlin. one time tried to give him a hug bc he was kind and he stomped on her foot not a good time

she’s eh about wilardo. doesnt think that he’s as interesting as the others, but will respect him. he’s okay

she’s not used to like socializing so she talks too much and doesnt know how to continue a conversation and always ends up embarrassing herself

if i can think of anymore then i’ll let you guys know! feel free 2 draw her (i still need to colour her in whoops), give her theme songs... im down for anything :D

I have. so many thoughts abt takemichi.

i think hes a poet! when he writes hes very cynical and HEAVY on the metaphors. his style isnt exactly Smooth and Flowy either there’s a lot of spots where it just gets rough. if it were a texture itd be like. slush. when he’s in captivity he does a lot of reading and literature analysis. this post sponsored by my special interest in poetry

iirc in the udg artbook theres a note on his design page that says he was loyal to “the brothers” (as opposed to just mondo) which means 1) he knew daiya and was His bodyguard too and they were just as close (which. considering takemichi was the most important person to mondo outside of hopes peak. is Pretty Close) and 2) he and mondo have known each other for YEARS. timelinewise if im doing my math correctly the latest daiya could have died would be Mondo’s first year of high school (though im willing to bet it was earlier just kinda based on how he talks about him and his death ingame, which, in his memory, would have been just a few months beforehand). considering takemichi is Also stated to be 1 year younger than mondo then the earliest they could have met was during mondos last year of middle school. i choose to believe they met in his second year tho. just 4 fun

also irt to all that i DO believe in the daiya takemichi father son dynamic so much. i usually write takemichi as being a foster kid with not the best guardians? so he stays with the oowadas more nights than not. and daiya cares about him so much. michi and daiya r both trans and my evidence is i want them to be and daiya calls takemichi little man All the Time

because takemichi is tiny and not intimidating i imagine that he met the oowadas and THEN joined the gang later, not the other way around. he met mondo in middle school and they got in a fight and when daiya came to pick mondo up and saw this kid with hair he clearly cut himself saying that his guardians werent gonna show up and he’d like to start walking before it got dark he was like. uh oh. sonboy. new sonboy.

later when daiya’s old bodyguard had to move away michi was like. ill bodyguard. i can fight. and daiya was Not for it. so takemichi decided to start working out to prove he could do it and, along with getting his hands on every book and video on proper technique he could, he joined a forum. and i KNOW theres no basis in canon for this but kenshiro and yuta r also on the forum to talk abt mma and hokuto shinken/ track and field respectively and they become internet friends. i just think itd be neat

obviously im big on takemichi and takaaki teaming up in towa (i usually call this dynamic notdad bc like. takaaki would obviously be so hesitant to be a father again for so long but theyre absolutely family). in some tls takaaki finds out the results of the killing game while in towa and hides it from takemichi. sometimes they find out together. sometimes they find out after the future foundation rescues them. depends

SPEAKING OF FUTURE FOUNDATION. all the captives (minus. yuta and komaru.) work there after the events of udg. ive never seen the dr3 anime and i dont plan on it im right

takaaki and takemichi share an apartment (because. again. family) until takaaki marries hiroko. takaaki ends up legally adopting takemichi so hiro and him ARE brothers (plus one kid that takaaki and hiroko have together. three of them)

all the captives (plus aoi and hiro) are pretty close postgame. ayaka will take any opportunity to be a big sister to takemichi (this usually means lighthearted bullying and stealing his poetry notebooks) and takemichi and fujiko are absolutely siblings. (sidenote i think itd be nice if fujiko got into pottery making. making manga was something she used to do with her little brother and it gets hard to do for a while but shes still creative at heart! so she makes bowls and little sculptures and stuff. she tries to throw out the ones that turn out wrong but takemichi always snags them so theres a shelf in his kitchen full of lumpy and discolored pottery)

bonus round -takemichi is 5′2″ -his birthday is february 29 -he has bpd -his favorite color is lavender -his singing voice sounds a lot like keaton henson -he calls fujiko “jiko” -the son he adopts is named genki and he calls him monkeybread or little guy and genki calls him daddo (it’s like kiddo but dad) -hes always and forever ashamed in his taste in music (its mostly bad indie folk punk stuff) -he has accidentally called daiya dad on several occasions but daiya just laughed and went with it -he accidentally called takaaki dad once and takaaki got quiet and upset so takemichi didnt do it again until a good few years after he was officially adopted -he accidentally called takaaki daiya once and Broke Down -he calls hiroko mom on purpose all the time -more than once daiya and mondo auctioned off a date with him to his fanclub and didnt tell him until the day of

... dang, that's an interesting choice. i'm trying to think in-character of what would lead fitz to not telling them, and i've come to four main possibilities: a) fitzroy doesn't trust anyone at the school, even his friends, b) fitzroy hasn't found a way to tell them w/o being in the presence of a gary, c) fitzroy is worried that if he tells anyone they might get disappeared like leon, or d) a combination of all of the above.

so a lot went down this episode, huh? compared to how lighthearted and silly the last two episodes were we got a ton of plot development, and in retrospect i’m glad we had an emotional buffer before things got too hairy. i am very worried for my boys, i personally think travis is nailing the build-up of suspense and mistrust between characters while keeping the danger factor mysterious enough that there’s no obvious solution as to who’s right not to trust who. i can’t wait to head into the tag and see the kinds of theories people are coming up with because dang if i don’t have some thoughts.
