Imagine if an Oumatsu kid had brown or gray hair because yellow and ourple are on opposite sides of the color wheel.
(I know that’s not how genetics work but this is anime so who cares)
(We could just make the excuse that the color was inherited from a grand parent or something)
i never give a crap about genetics honestly verhjd xhjr as far as im concerned if it came out of one of them it's their baby
Tumblr media
this color is very dark yellow on the color square so it adds up enough

Danganronpa V3 Reaction: You give them a flower crown
A/N: It has been quite a while since I did anything Danganronpa! So I could be a bit rusty! I think this would be super cute if this was a Florist!Reader !
Tumblr media
» Gonta »
When you give him the flower crown, he would be so happy. What a cute declaration of affection, Y/N! He would ask you to help him pick out flowers for the crown he's making for you. He wants both of you to match!
Tumblr media
» Kaede »
Honestly, she's so touched by this gesture. She would admire your handiwork before putting it on her head. What do you think? Does it look good on her? She loves the colors of the flowers you chose. And now since you made her something, she needs to go and write a song on the piano for you!
Tumblr media
» Kirumi »
She doesn't really know what to say when you hand it to her. Normally she does things for others so it's odd to have someone do something for her. But she's very appreciative. She would treasure your gift.
Tumblr media
» Kokichi »
Honestly, he's shocked that you're giving it to him of all people! But he can't help but feel like he needs to go around to the others and brag about it. Wait, you didn't make one for someone else, did you, Y/N? That's not fair if you did! Answer carefully or he might pull off every flower petal on it (It's a lie!).
Tumblr media
» Maki »
She's confused about why you gave her a flower crown. But she's not going to reject it; that'd be rude. She liked you a lot so she might blush when she put it on her head and tell her how good it looks. And she would listen intently when you tell her about some of the meanings of the flowers.
Tumblr media
» Miu »
She's smug about it. Of course you would make one for her! But if you're trying to get brownie points from her, you're gonna have to try harder than that. But on the inside, she's melting & malfunctioning. Especially since she doesn't know how to react to your cute gesture.
Tumblr media
» Rantaro »
He was the one who had taught you how to make flower crowns, but he didn't expect you to give him the one you were making. But what a coincidence this was! He was making one for you as well. He would also tell you a few facts about the flowers you chose that he heard on some of his adventures.
Tumblr media
» Shuichi »
You're giving the crown to him? Are you sure, Y/N? He'd be really shy about it especially when you place it on his head and coo over him. On the inside, his heart and emotions are running a marathon. Shuichi.exe has stopped.
Tumblr media
» Tenko »
She's so amazed by your craftsmanship! Not to mention, you made this for her!? She was beyond happy! She would give you endless amounts of compliments. She would wear the flower crown often as she loved it so much. I mean, her crush made it after all.

Danganronpa Blackened plans from best to worst:
(disclaimer: I'm including attempted murders on here, and counting certain double murders separately because it makes sense) I'd love to talk about how you would rank these, so please give your thoughts!
Sakura- since this one is a suicide, I'm not sure it counts. But if Monokuma has to actively interfere to get a case to go to trial, then you did a good job. I can't think of a mistake she made at the top of my head. She wanted to make things as easy as possible for everyone, and she succeeded.
Nagito chapter 5- He didn't plan for the traitor to give herself up, which is a reasonable mistake to make considering the only thing he knew about the traitor was that she WASN'T an ult. despair.
Tsumugi- when you have someone actively confessing to a murder that you committed, you are pretty much scot free. That being said, taking Kaede to the location of your secret passage, even if there weren't any consequences, was needlessly risky. I'd say this is one of those cases where it'd be better to have no alibi at all, since Kiibo and Ryoma didn't have one either.
Gundam- when halfway through the trial you still don't know how the victim died, the murderer did a pretty decent job. His main mistake was that he heard the commotion when he shouldn't have, and that was a calculated risk. He could have easily pushed the "Nagito = lying" agenda more then he did to combat that. He totally gave himself up.
Kiyo's murder of Angie: The locked room murder was a good trick that brought suspicion on the student council. I think that if he stopped here, he likely would have gotten away with it. Even with the duct tape, that doesn't bring suspicion on Kiyo specifically. Since it was nighttime, nobody had an alibi. There is no evidence that incriminates him at all.
Kaito and Kokichi- for attempting to create an unsolvable murder, showing that tape of Kaito being crushed sure did create a lot of problems. I don't think Shuichi would have solved it had that evidence not been handed over by the blackened in the beginning of the trial.
Junko- She made no mistakes during her murder itself. If she took herself to trial in chapter one, there's a 0% chance of her getting caught. Having the victim be impersonating herself means everyone would come to the conclusion it's a suicide. She gets points for trying to destroy the body too, thats not a strategy we see killers use often. She makes a few small mistakes in the body disposal, namely not covering her hand when she attacks Makoto and removing Mukuro's fake nails before placing the bomb. However, her biggest glaring mistake was revealing the true number of students in the first place.
Teruteru- For a rushed plan, this was pretty well thought out. His mistake was trying to attack when the rest of the group were together while he could have attacked someone before the party. That being said, attacking from the floorboards during a blackout he knew would happen is a good plan. I also think he should have destroyed or hid the list of kitchen items, so nobody would notice an iron skewer was missing. He could have easily flushed it down the toilet.
Mondo- in terms of plan he had no plan. However, he didn't make any glaring mistakes at the crime scene. There's not much he could have done about the protein coffee stain and the blood spatter. If you add on Togami's interference, there is no way he would have been caught if he had just kept his mouth shut. For the broken monopad, Taka is equally suspicious. Kyoko was the only one that suspected him, and in chapter two she may not have enough influence over the group to single handedly get him eliminated. The fact that a guy who killed in the heat of the moment places decently shows how little brain cells some of them have.
Gonta and Kokichi- this one is very hard to rank because 90% of the reason Gonta was suspected is Kokichi's testimony, and can you really call the memory error a mistake since it was before Gonta was plotting murder? Either way, I'm putting it here. Gonta made a mistake by being seen in the same area as the toilet paper when he could have easily hidden it on him like Miu did with the phone. However, Kokichi made the majority of mistakes in this case by turning on Gonta for denying he even entered the virtual world. (my dude, its Gonta. This is probably the level of lies you would have gotten had there not been a memory error.)
Kirumi- She made one very big mistake: moving the body. If she had just left Ryoma in his lab, this crime would be near impossible to trace back to her. Depending on if she removed the handcuffs and the severity of his head wound, this could be argued to be a suicide. She couldn't have known that Kokichi or Gonta wouldn't have gone into Ryoma's lab looking for him, but even so that could have been traced back to a lot of different people.
Peko- I think her biggest mistake was agreeing to meet up with the rest of the girls if she suspected Fuyuhiko was going to try something. With a cast this large, not having an alibi is more suspicious than something being weird about your alibi. Her mistake with the gummies is understandable, since we don't know how recently she last say Hiyoko eating them. However, why did she get sparkling justice involved? Fuyuhiko was more suspicious than her throughout most of the case, so people would have likely voted for him. If she wanted him to survive the trial, she should have confessed! Her motives in this case confuse me tbh.
Kaede- her murder is overcomplicated, but in a way that makes sense because she didn't know who she was killing. It also would have been quite difficult to test beforehand due to all of the moving parts and the mastermind possibly being in the library at any time. From a tactical level, her mistake was not taking the first blood perk, but thats due to moral reasons. Since this murder failed, I don't think I can rank it any higher.
Mikan- She shouldn't have tried to record that video for Hajime. She also shouldn't have strangled Ibuki when she just could have hanged her. Why obscure the cause of death? That being said, I think killing Hiyoko was the right choice and was done decently. Still the smartest chapter three killer by a longshot.
Chapter 1 Nagito- Bad plan, which makes sense since he was likely trying to get caught. The bad part of causing a blackout is that whoever was closest to the body would be suspected, since it takes the smallest leap in logic for him to be accused. In the trial, he also caved way too quickly.
Sayaka- Makoto would realistically suspect her, but she was counting on being more charismatic than him for it not to matter. That being said, she made quite a lot of mistakes. She took the murder weapon even though she knew Hina and Sakura were watching and it could be traced back to her. In the au where Makoto gets blamed for killing Leon, that would have been incredibly fishy. She also didn't remove potential weapons from the area before attacking Leon, which is a huge oversight considering he's physically stronger than her. The note she sent was also traced back to her. If she actually made it to the class trial, she would have been caught quite easily.
Miu: The moment Shuichi notices the poison doesn't match the symptoms of the death, she's suspect number one. Her strange behavior before that would have definitely been a clue.
Celeste- Where do I even start. Using Hifumi at all made things needlessly complicated, and he made the majority of mistakes in the murder case. If Hifumi can kill Taka and she can kill Hifumi, than she could have killed Taka easily, especially considering his mental state at the time. I'd go farther and saying having Hifumi alive in the class trial would be an asset, since he'd believe everything she says.
Leon- He removed all of the hair from the crime scene, but didn't bother to... I don't know, go back and look at the body once during that? Did he not bother to clean the bathroom. He also took risks with disposing of the evidence when he could have just as easily hidden it in his room, where nobody would think to look for it.
Kiyo's murder of Tenko- Not only did he make a fuckton of mistakes, this murder was completely pointless. The whole murder was a mistake. I understand he wanted to bolster his kill count, but doing nothing was the best option. If he wanted to axe off someone useful to the group, like Shuichi or Kaito, then this murder might make sense from a strategic perspective. He made horrible choices for seance members, arguably choosing the two smartest in the group to help him. I also think he could have likely found his way to the center of the room based off muscle memory, and those lines he added were unnecessary.

What's your main reasons for the choices you made on the hair//eyes// ect from DR post?
Height: There are a bunch of 5'7 characters in DR and I was happy to use Junko's queen sprite cause I would also wear a crown everywhere-
Hair: my hair is the length and color of Akane's and can be messy like hers too (I was gonna add maybe Toko cause I keep it pulled back most of the time. Double braids are my favorite so would feel right) :))))
Eyes: here are only a handful of characters with brown eyes and most of them are greenish-brown or just really light brown. Yasuhiro was one of the only ones I found with purely dark brown eyes!
Personality: I'm a pretty happy and positive person in general! There isn't one or really even four characters I think could describe my personality so I tried. Saying I'm positive is entirely scrapping the surface though. I'm not two dimensional.
Humor: Miu makes me laugh SO MUCH! There's any opportunity for an innuendo? She'll find it. Luckily my politeness and common sense win out so I don't go spouting the shit she does lol. Point is: she gets me humor-wise.
Intelligence: I know I'm a smart person so I just had to pick a character that was like that too, ya know? I really enjoyed playing Shuichi because we're on the same wavelength and he's as curious about everything as me. There was barely any Me yelling at the screen for the protagonist to be smarter than they are or Me being unable to keep up.
Voice: My friends and I have been playing the dr games together and we divide up characters to voice and Hina was one of mine. She was really really easy to voice but it was just my voice lol.
Clothing Style: So many characters have so much going on style-wise and my day to day is very much Normal. Jeans, graphic T-shirt, comfortable jacket. Nagito's was perfect.
My Danganronpa Crush: I don't care if this makes me basic, it means others have good taste too: Chiaki is my love. Her personality, her looks, her failed humor, her goals, her interests, her intelligence, her kindness, etc.!
Tumblr media
Some more things that would be fun to make categories for would be-
Which Character's Killing Game Experience I Think I Would Have: I'd try to be like Kyoko and Kokichi in that they work behind the scenes to stop the game. If I were to be a blackened it would be similar to Leon as I would not plan it but it's out of self defense. If I was a victim it would be either like Imposter because I'm trying to stop someone else from getting hurt or like Sakura/what Ryoma wanted to do because I'd give up my life to save everyone else's I think. (Yes, don't worry I'm in therapy). As a regular player I'd try to be like Kaede/Imposter/Kaito in trying to bring everyone together and getting morale up.
Which Motive I'd Be Most Swayed By: The motive videos are absolute classics. And for good reason. I don't know who I'd see but, yeah. Either that or the despair disease because killing is so out of my character.
Who I'd Kill: K1-B0, sorry man. No hard feelings! (Warning: robophobic) you're just not human. You can be brought back.
Who I'd Let Kill Me: Sayaka, my queen. She didn't know about the class punishment if she got away with murder so I'm assuming I wouldn't either, I'd let her kill me if someone had to. Or Gundham, to save everyone from starvation.

Good to me (1.3k words, M/M)
For Day 17 of @danganronpashipmonths Saioma month. Inspired by the prompt : The Beauty and The Beast
Post-game, everyone is trying to recover. Even if they know it will be slow, they are all trying to heal. Everyone, it seems, accept Kokichi. And of course, it's Shuichi that notices. It's him that get concerned as well, and it's him that looks out for Kokichi. Even if it's something as simple as going to his room...
It had been almost four months since everyone had woken up. Had finally gotten out of the simulation. If Shuichi was being generous, he would say it had been about three months since everyone had come to terms with it. Come to terms with it in the sense that they accepted it was a simulation, that is. No-one here would ever support what Team Danganronpa did to them. Even if they had supposedly signed up to it, no-one would forgive them.
At least, Shuichi was fairly certain no-one would. Almost all of the participants (he refused to call them his ‘fellow cast members’) ate together, and spent most of their days together. There wasn’t much else they could do, afterall. None of them had passed enough mental evaluation and training to be allowed back to the real world yet. Only three people avoided them.
Tsumugi had immediately been whisked away by Team Danganronpa, thankfully. Korekiyo, for obvious reasons, was rather outcast from the group. Team Danganronpa had tried to introduce him back into the group, suggested group counselling with him and Angie and Tenko, but the two had vehemently refused. Everyone was mostly uncomfortable around him, and after a while he simply stopped showing up to meals. But he didn’t shy away, he just didn’t enter many social situations. You could still encounter him sometimes; in the library, or at the cafeteria getting a small snack or lte dinner.
You could never see Kokichi. They’d barely seen him at all, except for when they woke up, and for mandatory meetings. Him, Kaito, Rantaro, and Kaede had waited for him to wake up - somewhat worried about him. He should’ve woken up before Kaito, but for some reason he didn’t. It was Shuichi who first realised his… friend had woken up. Shuichi was still never sure what to call Kokichi. At the start of the game, he would have comfortably said a crush. Then, after some of the events - he wasn’t sure. Shuichi would still blush in exactly the same way, and get the same butterflies. But no-one else would even call him friend.
Shuichi didn’t want to have to stand up to everyone else, especially not when Kokichi had done what he did. But whatever he felt for Kokichi certainly hadn’t disappeared. In a way, it only ever got worse. Something in Shuichi’s heart ached when Kokichi awoke, fear and horror in his eyes. A large, rattling gasping breath - his eyes looking around, panicked and scared. But something in him calmed down as he saw Shuichi. Well, that wasn’t fair. He would like to say that slight sparkle, sigh of relief was because of him - but it might not have been. Afterall, he only asked for Rantaro. So only Rantaro explained to Kokichi.
In all of the group meetings, he still behaved the same. Had that exact smile, exact reactions that gave Shuichi a blush and butterflies. But something was wrong, and Shuichi could tell that it was forced - or at least a lot of it was. And he was worried for Kokichi. After a little over four months, things eventually reached a breaking point. He knew what his heart wanted, for him to see Kokichi again. Not just as something more - but first and foremost as a friend, a person. The still sixteen year old, who wasn’t just the villain he had pretended to be.
That was why Shuichi was still looking around at breakfast. He waited until Miu took a large mouthful of food, and everything was relatively quiet to ask, “How do you think Kokichi’s doing?”
“Pffftt-” Was the immediate reaction, from Miu gaging slightly and looking up at him, eyes narrowed, “Hey Poo-ichi, maybe warn us next time you're bringing up that ass? And why the fuck should we care?”
“It was a valid question,” Rantaro spoke up, firmly but mildly, “None of us really see him anymore.”
“Not even you?” Shuichi asked Rantaro, eyes narrowing slightly. If he wasn’t even seeing Rantaro…
“When was the last time anyone saw him?” Kaede asked.
“Probably about three weeks ago,” Kaito spoke up, “We had our monthly killer-victim thing.”
A few people around nodded appreciatively, and then Miu took a gulp of coffee before saying, “Me and that gremlin spoke two weeks ago. It was a killer-victim thing, even though he never actually had anything to do with it.”
She laughed slightly, glancing towards Gonta and winking. “He’s fuckin’ insufferable in those.”
“How so?” Shuichi said, almost immediately.
“Course you’d like to know,” Miu narrowed her eyes at him, “Just like he was in the game, y’know. Constantly spitting bullshit, that kinda stuff.”
“Did he seem-”
“Sad, mopey?” Miu interrupted, “No. Except when he did those annoying-ass crocodile tears. But everyone knows how fake those are.”
“His exaggerated emotions are based in truth,” Rantaro pointed out, “Sometimes.”
“I’m going to try and talk to him,” Shuichi declared, trying not to flinch as everyone’s eyes settled completely onto him.
“Why?” Maki’s eyes glared into him, hand gripping her fork with more strength than necessarily.
“Probably wants to get freaky,” Miu’s eyes gleamed slightly, “Finally got tired of being a loser and a virgin.”
“I- that isn’t it at all,” Shuichi protested, “I’m worried.”
“And fuckin’ horny.”
“Ignore him,” Kaede said, trying to smile at Kokichi, “If you want to talk to him, he’ll probably be eating right now. His room’s next to mine.”
“How do you know?” Miu demanded, “You wanted some?”
“Because it’s written on his door,” Kaede sighed, “And when I get up later I’ve seen him sometimes, room service arrives.”
“Bougie asshole.”
I am finished,” Shuichi looked down at his empty plate, “I’m going to go talk to him.”
“Good luck.”
The response came from three of them, Kaito, Kaede and Rantaro. But almost everyone had some form of encouragement in their face, even if everyone also seemed sceptical. Shuichi couldn’t exactly blame them, however. It could be difficult to see Kokichi as anything but the villain, even if he certainly wasn’t.
Eventually, Shuichi came to the correct door. It was still incredibly simple, and incredibly plain - with just his name, and a small smiley face drawn into it. Crouching, Shuichi dropped to examine the face - it was scratched into the surface, rather professionally. Of course Kokichi would be able to still get sharp objects, even when in this environment. Taking a deep breath, Shuichi knocked on the door.
Listening closely, he could hear a small amount of movement before the door unlocked. Kokichi looked almost exactly the same, and although his face had been carefully he schooled into something neutral - the first time that he had seen Shuichi, there had been a smile. Shuichi could even say there had been a slight bit of blush, along with that sparkle. The two of them stared at each other for a few seconds, Shuichi’s heart beating wildly in his chest. And then he tried to speak, “Ummm…. hi, Kokichi.”
“Heya Shumai,” there was a small smile on his face, “Did you miss me? Did you? Did you?”
He got closer, a larger grin on his face. Holding his hands up closely and together, looking almost exactly like a child. And it was so… Kokichi, so refreshing - that it was beautiful. For a second, all Shuichi could do was smile and laugh.
“I-” he grinned as well, “I’ve missed you Kokichi.”
“Well, it’s no fun if you just admit it like that, y’know.”
“Of course, my sincere apologies.”
“Sincere?” Kokichi pouted, “Bleg. Now you’ve ruined it.”
A sparkle still in his eyes, he began to exaggeratedly shut the door, forcing Shuichi to put his hand inbetween it. There was a second of pause, careful consideration, before Kokichi opened the door again.
“Fine. But only because I like you, y’know. What do you want?”
“You-you like me?”
“What do you want?”
“I’d like… to talk.”

Drv3 x idv crossover headcanons{for kokichi}
Kokichi Ouma and the rest are playing in the manor game post-their game as a full dive v.r. thing.
As such some relationships are rocky at best.
The only one he trusts out of the killing game who is actually participating as well is Miu, Shuichi is being avoided like the plague.
Kaede didn't actually watch the full killing game through after her loss and assumes Rantaro was right about accusing Kokichi of being the mastermind, Rantaro is drumming up hate towards kokichi in order to have a better social standing
Not to mention everyone else but gonta and kaito outside of the games are bulling him (or simply blaming kokichi for anything that goes wrong in ryoma's case)
Now you'd think maybe maki or Himiko might be chill but nope, maki has been roped in by several other people, and Himiko just wants to fit in.
Of course this leads to kokichi hiding as much as possible. people try to find him but, they keep looking in open air areas
It almost makes sense because he was crushed to death
But that's ignoring how the strike 9 poison he had running through his system was by game lore designed to put someone through as much agony as physically possible
He was teetering on the edge of shock before it even crushed him
So naturally when he gets crushed it sends him over the shock point and HE STOPS HURTING.
One of these times he's in another weird nook in the post-game care facility and finds an envelope with a particular wax seal on it.
In the envelope a letter telling him he's invited to join a "more merciful" killing game if he so chooses
And it's promised that whether or not he wins he'll have SAFETY from all the people that have been causing him issues and setting his anxiety off on the regular.
He of course takes interest and ends up in the manor under Mike or "Acrobat"
Mike doesn't handle kokichi being less my survival first and more others survival first.
Mike then screws up by hitting him
Which sends kokichi into panic spiral of "I need to do better so I need to research."
Naib and Emma take note of his panic spiral induced absence and check up on him.
They then manage to convince kokichi to calm down and take care of himself some.
As a result of them successfully reading him completely (a first for him) and being kind to him in a more protective manner he upon waking up has decided he trusts them completely
Which is good for him because they are his alibis for something rantaro did.
Rantaro decided to drug kaede and shuichi's portion of the breakfast food and blame it on kokichi
Which immediately backfires as Naib and Emma not only go full truth and inference mode on the idiot but shuichi points out a serious discrepancy with rantaro's own alibi and Kreacher claims witness to rantaro's actions(he didn't really see anything but he refuses to let another "philanthropist" get away with essentially making everyone call Emma a liar.(he now knows the Emma=Lisa Beck thing and is trying to help make up for being a moron and not recognizing her.)
Overtime most of Naib and Emma's chaotic little network of people meet and befriend kokichi.

Shuichi x reader
-> kaede encouraging him to confess
CWs: none
"you're staring." the pianist teased, laughing when he quickly glanced away from you, pulling his cap down enough to hide his eyes. "i thought you agreed to try wear it less?"
"i have been..! i didnt wear it yesterday..."
kaede only sighed, watching him subconsciously look up to stare at you again. you happened to be in the same café as them, sitting with a friend or two and giggling at something one said. "when are you confessing?"
"um... not now."
"aw, c'mon, you should tell them! you'll never know if they like you back or not if you don't."
"and if they don't it might make everything uncomfortable."
"at this point i think if they didn't feel the same they would have definitely noticed by now." he didn't reply. he was staring at you again. kaede sighed again, smiling to herself as well. she leaned forward and tapped him on his shoulder. "imply it. go walk up to them and pull the 'funny to see you here', offer to come again next week"
"i dont want to look like a stalker."
"you won't! hey, look there's a flower shop over there. and a book shop next to it!" he looked up curiously. "you go get something, ill speak to them and tell them you want to meet up later at the park or something and that since im here ill pass on the message. sound good?"
he hesitated. he was obviously nervous about the idea, but he'd denied every idea kaede had been throwing at him for months now. and he really did want to confess at some point. "okay. thank you, kaede." he smiled at her, before glancing over at you again.
you suddenly looked up and met his eyes, and he instantly froze and panicked. "or i guess you can have your date now!" and she waved over at you with a bright smile.

Coward’s Confession.
[Kaede’s apartment, 8:58am]
Tumblr media
...
*As soon as Kaede made it back to her apartment the previous night after the trial, when the lockdown ended, she was too exhausted to get changed and ended up just falling on her bed and passing out. The next morning, she is woken up by the sound of the doorbell.
Tumblr media
Ngh...
*She practically rolls out of bed and forces herself to get up and trudge down the hallway. Her slow movements however prompt the ringer to press the bell again.
Tumblr media
Coming...*yawn* C-Coming...!
*Kaede finally arrives at the door and opens it.
Tumblr media
Umgh...H-Hello?
Tumblr media
Ah...g-good morning. Did I catch you at a bad time?
Tumblr media
Shuichi!? N-No-No, you’re fine.
Tumblr media
I was just...a little tired from the previous night.
Tumblr media
Sorry. You’re free to get back to your rest. I just needed to talk to you about something.
Tumblr media
Um...Yeah...I...think we should talk.
Tumblr media
O-Oh...alright...Hold on, just let me get changed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
...
*Shuichi and Kaede sit outside the apartment building on a bench. The cold winter air against their faces, they finally are in a moment of peace together.
Tumblr media
I thought I told you that you needed to get some rest?
Tumblr media
Yeah. I will. Mr Togami confirmed what Mr Naegi told me yesterday. They’re going to handle the situation from here.
Tumblr media
Which is to say that my business with Celeste is done...for now at least.
Tumblr media
Are you still worried about what she said?
Tumblr media
I’d be lying if I said no. I think she knows more about Organization Zetsubou than we think she might. Clearly her relationship with it’s members isn’t as distant as we thought it was.
Tumblr media
Well let’s hope they can get answers out of her.
Tumblr media
And let’s hope things don’t go as awful as they have been lately.
Tumblr media
Speaking of which, how are...um...you know your...um...
Tumblr media
Spit it out.
Tumblr media
Your...breasts...?
Tumblr media
Huh? Oh, you mean-! Ah, ok.
Tumblr media
Yeah, I’m alright now. I had Mikan take another look at my body before I got home last night.
Tumblr media
She said there’s a little scarring, but nothing serious.
Tumblr media
Good.
Tumblr media
Speaking of which...How are...
Tumblr media
My hands? Well, still bad. But it doesn’t really hurt anymore.
Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
Kaede...does it...bother you?
Tumblr media
Even if it did, what can you do about it?
Tumblr media
Yeah, it upsets me, but I’m not about to go blaming you for it. Even though you DID kind of earn them yourself.
Tumblr media
True...
Tumblr media
But I don’t regret going in there. Kokichi’s alive, and so am I. That’s all that should matter.
Tumblr media
Yeah. I agree.
Tumblr media
But...Lately, I’ve had this sick feeling in my heart...Over the course of the last few days, I’ve come close to losing you several times.
Tumblr media
And...it’s made me realize a few things about myself...Just how much you matter to me really.
Tumblr media
...!
Tumblr media
I mean...I always cared. Of course I did. But I didn’t know to what extent.
Tumblr media
Even after the whole business with Munakata, I was rather hoping that no one would come to find me...
Tumblr media
Why?!
Tumblr media
Because...I didn’t deserve to be saved. I would have betrayed you all.
Tumblr media
Kaede, don’t you dare say that.
Tumblr media
I know, I won’t. Emphasis on the past tense.
Tumblr media
But by now I should be learning. I can’t just be the damsel in distress who gets locked in the tower waiting for the hero to come and save me.
Tumblr media
Heheh. You think I’m a hero?
Tumblr media
Think!? Shuichi, at this point, everyone KNOWS you’re a hero!
Tumblr media
You saved the entire Future Foundation! You exposed the traitor! You deserve all the praise coming your way, just as Makoto said!
Tumblr media
A whole lot of praise is a lot for someone like me to take in you know? I may end up getting crushed under it.
Tumblr media
But...to be honest...moments like this are good enough for me.
Tumblr media
Huh?
Tumblr media
No business, no detective work...just some time off.
Tumblr media
With just the two of us...
Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
A-Ah...sorry...that sounded...a little strange, huh?
Tumblr media
...Um...
Tumblr media
Sh-Shuichi?
Tumblr media
Y-Yes?
Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
I just...I need to tell you something...Something that’s been on my chest for a while now.
Tumblr media
But I wanted to wait for a good chance to, and, I admit, I’ve let it slip out to others before, but...Lately...well, it’s been around for a while, but lately I find myself having weird feelings...
Tumblr media
Strong feelings...for you especially...
Tumblr media
Kaede...you don’t have to say it...
Tumblr media
I know you like me.
Tumblr media
Wha-!? HUH!? Wh-Who told you that!?
Tumblr media
Uh...You did?
Tumblr media
Since when!?
Tumblr media
...I suppose now would be a good time to admit something of my own...
Tumblr media
I was actually...um...you know...awake...when you came and visited me in the hospital before closing time...
Tumblr media
Y-You were!? Then-!? Then you-!?
Tumblr media
...
*Flushing, Shuichi nods.
Tumblr media
UUUGH GOOOOD!!
*Kaede buries her face into her arms, her face red like a tomato.
Tumblr media
Yeah…I’m sorry it took so long to tell you.
Tumblr media
Yeah, like…you’ve been thinking about it for 3 days now!? And didn’t say anything!?
Tumblr media
It was hardly the time!
Tumblr media
Yeah, no, you’re right…
Tumblr media
The thing is though…Because I left it to play on my mind…I never gave you an answer…
Tumblr media
Huh?
Tumblr media
I sort of…kind of…like you back…and I mean that romantically…
Tumblr media
!!!!??
*Kaede immediately enters a flustered panic, not expecting Shuichi to be so upfront and direct about the whole thing.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
There’s something else I need to be honest with you about…Going off on that.
Tumblr media
To be honest…it’s mainly thanks to Kuripa that I decided upon this.
Tumblr media
What? What do you mean?
Tumblr media
When he first came to me about the case, he told me that he wanted to make a deal with me about it.
Tumblr media
I was just happy for a chance to solve the case, but he wouldn’t accept that. He told me that if I beat his case and proved his boss innocent, he would do me a favor…
Tumblr media
And what did you ask him to do?
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
I asked him for advice…which would help me ask you out…
Tumblr media
…!
Tumblr media
He kept asking me, and I kept telling him it was ok, but then I remembered my feelings for you. I wanted more, but I was just trying to hide how much I really liked you.
Tumblr media
And because of that…I was able to muster up the courage to come here to talk to you.
Tumblr media
Shuichi…
Tumblr media
I’m not the hero the Future Foundation thinks I am. I’m far from the ideal person either.
Tumblr media
I’m a coward…I’m indecisive…and I lack initiative. But despite all that…I couldn’t just let my feelings go…
Tumblr media
I’m happy for all the praise I’m getting lately but the only person I really want to have their eyes on me…is you…
Tumblr media
I want to impress you because…I really do…like you…Kaede.
Tumblr media
………
Tumblr media
U-UM! B-But yeah, I’ll do my best to change and everything, so I can become a man who’s worthy of you! B-But I’m also fine with just you pretending you didn’t hear any of tha-!
Tumblr media
Um…Can I say something myself?
Tumblr media
*Shuichi quiets down, after waving around his arms frantically in an embarrassed mess, giving her a chance to speak.
Tumblr media
I don’t necessarily agree with you putting yourself down like this…but I agree that the two of us…don’t have as much in common as we’d like.
Tumblr media
That said…Though many would tell you I have the social skills you lack, what’s the point if it’s not ever going to do anyone any good?
Tumblr media
You…don’t have to go out of your way to change…Because we already make a very good team…You fill my holes…and I fill yours…
Tumblr media
And to be honest…I don’t have any problems with Kuripa’s involvement in this confession because…the same is really true for me.
Tumblr media
I was trying to hide how much I liked you too. But then I talked with Kuripa, and made a deal of my own with him.
Tumblr media
I was trying to deny my own feelings this whole time too…and Kuripa helped me realize just what kind of person I am, and what kind of person I want to be.
Tumblr media
Because…I also…um…
Tumblr media
Like-…Um…LOVE you…very much…
Tumblr media
…!!?
Tumblr media
O-Oh…um…thank you…
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
…Um…r-right…ok, so…I guess I should probably ask…
Tumblr media
D-Do you…want to…um…
Tumblr media
…Go out…
Tumblr media
…with me…?
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
…!
*Kaede says nothing, but she turns to Shuichi and nods.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
O-Ok then! I think I should…uh…w-walk you home now…
Tumblr media
Yeah…L-Let’s go home…!
Tumblr media
*The two get up and walk back to Kaede’s apartment together.
Tumblr media
O-Ok. I know you wanted me to get some rest, so…I’ll go home and do that.
Tumblr media
Yeah…I-I’ll see you later!
Tumblr media
*Shuichi turns and starts to walk away.
Tumblr media
…!
Tumblr media
Sh-Shuichi, wait!
Tumblr media
…?
*Shuichi stops in his tracks and turns around.
Tumblr media
Um…yes?
Tumblr media
I mean…not to imply anything or…stuff like that but…
Tumblr media
You…wouldn’t be opposed to…I dunno…maybe…staying here?
Tumblr media
Huh?
Tumblr media
Y-You can rest here! I-I’ll make us some tea or something! We can…relax…take a day off…together…?
Tumblr media
Of course, it’s fine if you want to be alone too! But I was just-!
Tumblr media
No. I’ll gladly spend the day with you.
Tumblr media
…!
*Shuichi starts to walk back and arrives at the door.
Tumblr media
Um…Kaede…listen…
Tumblr media
I…I can’t promise that I’ll be able to do any more than my best but…
Tumblr media
I’ll…do my absolute best…to make you happy.
Tumblr media
And I’ll…do my best to BE happy…
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
*With faces so warm, that steam from the cold air starts to come off them, the two step inside the apartment and spend a long time alone together.

Danganronpa V3 Pregame Headcanons
hey Y’all! I have an imagines post on the way, but in the mean time have some of my V3 headcanons
TW/CW: Almost All Pregame V3 Characters (Excluding Kaito, Shuichi, K1-B0, Tsumugi And Kaede), Mentions Of Abuse And Self-Esteem Issues, Mention Of Violence
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Maki Harukawa Maki was always all for mindless violence, and what better place to be violent than a killing game. There were no other motivations behind her audition and she told the team just as much. She was thrilled when they told her that she would be the strongest character, unparalleled by even the martial arts masters of the previous seasons. However she was never told that they would be changing her motivations, making her broken and unwilling to kill. She went into the killing game hoping to come out on a mountain of corpses, to be feared by everyone in the outside world. She got her wish, just not in the way that she wanted.
Kokichi Oma Kokichi was a nervous boy, despite what he may tell you. He was constantly terrified of everything around him, but lied his way through life to convince everyone he was okay. He wasn’t sure why he auditioned for Danganronpa, maybe he wanted a place where his constant fear would be justified, maybe he wanted a new world to recreate himself in, maybe he just wanted an excuse to let it all out and break down. His one request of the team was to “make me more like myself but... better.” They listened to his request, making him more confident and snarky, but his constant lying had become such an extreme part of who he was, that the team kept it. After all, he asked to be himself.
Miu Iruma Miu was hopeless at romance. Well, not like she wanted actual romance anyway. All she wanted was for everyone to swoon at her presence and kiss the ground she walked on. She wanted to be a gorgeous celebrity, known and admired all over the world. The kind of celebrity that you would hardcore crush on for years. What better way to do that then to audition for the worlds most popular TV show. She wanted to be the fanservice character and asked the team as much. They complied with her request, but decided to take it a more comedic route, using all of the worst troupes and making her little more then a desperate mockery. She was the fanservice alright, but she will never be as widely loved.
Ryoma Hoshi Ryoma had been watching the show for as long as he can remember. He had always looked up to the strong-willed and awe-inspiring protagonists. He didn’t really have anyone else in his life to look up to, so he clung to these characters like glue, using them almost as a guide on how to live. “What would Makoto do here? How would Hajime handle this?” When he heard that there were auditions for the new season, he did everything he could to get an audition. When the team asked him about what kind of character he wanted to be, he just repeated over and over about how he wanted to be the protagonist. He wanted to be an inspiration to people. He asked this of them so much that they casted him as a weak-willed character with nothing to live for. They had already chosen their protagonist and his constant inquiries had made them grow petty against him.
Rantaro Amami Rantaro had never had a good relationship with his family. His parents gave him a boat to live on when he was old enough and them seized all contact. He had sisters, in fact he was the only son, but all of his sisters had moved across the world for college and none of them really left on a good note with him. His only chance at a new life, and therefore a new family, was auditioning for Danganronpa, The only request he made was that he be an only child and an orphan. This was an odd request so the team pried for more information, and his story gave them a very interesting idea.
Korekiyo Shinguji Kiyo hated humanity. he hated it to the point of it being an intense obsession. To him, it was full of heartless people who would do nothing but take advantage of him, while everyone else just stood by and refused to believe him. people would get close enough to him for him to consider them family, only for them to shatter his trust and leave him broken. he wanted an escape from it all, and he wanted the recognition that would get people to believe him. he thought auditioning for the show would get enough attention that he could finally share his story, he was desperate to join and he made the team aware of it. He didnt want to be loved or hated, he just wanted to be memorable, and the team happily complied.
Kirumi Tojo Kirumi felt useless. For her entire life she had been told to “get out the way” or “just let me do it, you’re messing it up.” She felt like every time she tried to help, she just ended up making the situation worse. It did severe damage to her self esteem and she ended up not even being able to do things for herself, becoming extremely dependant of those around her. She had heard of Danganronpa, everyone had, but she never thought she would be much good in a killing game. She had no intention of auditioning until she heard that they would be completely changing your personality and give you your own ultimate talent. She went to the audition room and asked to be cast as the ultimate maid. “I just want to be helpful. I want everyone to be able to rely on me for once.”
Angie Yonaga Angie was the type to idolise those with power, and she wanted nothing more than to have that same level of power for herself. She fawned over the antagonists from previous seasons, holding them on a pedestal. She had always been adamant that she would be one day get into a season of Danganronpa and become the most powerful antagonist yet. She wanted to manipulate and twist the other participants to her will, and walk out of the killing game without having raised a finger. She wanted to put herself on the highest pedestal of all, towering above those that she idolised for so long. When auditioning, she tried her hardest to prove how good of an antagonist she would be. All of her talk of manipulation and basically wanting to be a god gave the team a great idea.
Gonta Gokuhara Gonta was a fearless man, which fit his intimidating build. He wasn’t scared of heights, or the dark, or ghosts. He wasn’t even afraid of death, making him a great candidate for a killing game. He had been introduced to Danganronpa when some friends of his wanted to see just how far his lack of fear went. He had been watching the show ever since, always commenting about how they shouldn’t have hesitated and “I would be so much better at this than those wimps.” Upon hearing that auditions were being held for the next season, Gonta’s friend’s held him to that statement and pushed him to audition. The team were impressed with his courage, but were persistently prying for any kind of phobia they could get out of him. They eventually got one. Bugs. They knew exactly what to do with this information.
Himiko Yumeno Himiko loved attention. All she ever wanted was to be the centre of the world and have everyone know her name. She spent her life wishing she had the talent of an ultimate so she could use it to become famous all over the globe. She spent years trying to decide what talent she could have that would give her the best chance of drawing a crowd. She eventually decided on magic, seeing how magicians could awe people of any age. She waited for years to find the opportunity to audition, and when it finally came she took it quickly. She was adamant that she wanted to be the best magician, and she wanted everyone to know it. The team saw the opportunity and made her so good at magic, that not even she believed they were tricks anymore.
Tenko Chabashira Tenko was weak. That was a fact that she couldn’t deny. She could never quite get the hang of fighting and never had any way to defend herself. This led her to surrender easily when threatened, even pushing other people under the bus just so she could escape unharmed. She had always envied that characters in her favourite show, how they were all so much stronger than her both physically and mentally. She swore that if she ever got the opportunity to be in a killing game, she would be stronger. She didnt care how hard she had to fake it, she would definetly convince her classmates that she was not someone to be messed with. She was nervous when she heard about the auditions, but decided to give it a go. She told the team about how all she ever wanted was to be strong and they complied, taking full advantage of the fact that she had no other requests.

Sweet Surprise Kiss
Have a self-indulgent Kiibouma fic I whipped up. Non-despair AU!
@kotokos-cafe I know you said you were excited to see my writing, and here it is! Plus, I just want to offer you something good.
It was almost midnight at Saishuu Academy, but Kokichi, Kiibo, Shuichi, Kaede, and Maki weren't ready to go to sleep yet. They were having a sleepover, currently playing Truth or Dare. Kaede had just dared Kokichi to try and do a handstand, and now that he had, albeit to failure, it was his turn to spin the bottle.
His pale hand touched the cap, and he took a deep breath before asking, "Okay, everyone. Ready?" The response was various shouts of "just get it over with!". Kokichi jumped a bit in surprise and muttered, "Okay, okay, geez..." under his breath. With a forceful swipe, he spun the bottle, and it landed on...
Kiibo.
"Haha, yes! This'll be fun!" Kokichi yelled with a fist-pump, to a shushing from Kirumi nearby. Kiibo put a hand on his forehead. This was just their luck, wasn't it? Let's just get this over with, he supposed, sighing as Kokichi pointed to him and said with a mischievous pep in his voice, "Alllllllright, Kiiboy! Truth or dare?"
"...Dare. I don't wish to be regarded as cowardly."
A resounding gasp echoed throughout the group. They were really expecting Kiibo to choose truth. Kokichi took a little bit of time to think about it, before smirking and saying, "Okay then, Kiiboy! I dare you to kiss your crush!"
Kiibo's cheeks dusted blue. Kokichi might have been saying this all in good fun, but here was the thing: he was actually Kiibo's crush! Trembling a bit, Kiibo crawled towards Kokichi, minding the bottle in the center of the circle. They let out a shaky sigh, fidgeting with their platinum hair, and stuttered out, "K-kokichi, are you s-sure it's okay?"
"I'm the one who dared you to do it, am I not?"
"B-but, Kokichi, y-you don't unde-"
"KIIBO! I promise you, I'll support you no matter who you like."
"...okay. Let's just get this over with."
Kiibo sighed and brought his hands up to cup Kokichi's cheeks, leaning towards him for the kiss. Their face lit up sky blue across the bridge of their nose, and they were increasingly nervous but tried not to focus too much on that.
"K-kiiboy-? What are you-!?"
Before Kokichi could finish that sentence, Kiibo's lips made contact with his, causing both to blush intensely. His stomach started to ache with butterflies as the robot leaned in closer. However, he didn't push away. He just sort of allowed the kiss to happen until he finally decided to pull away.
Both sat there, silent and still. Kiibo hid their face in their collar, hiding their blush as they waited for it to calm. Meanwhile, Kokichi was still processing what just happened. It took a few minutes to make sense of it, but when he did manage to...
"Y-YOU LIKE ME!?!"
"Sh-sh-sh, not so loud! But yeah."
"Wow...I can't believe how oblivious I've been," Kokichi muttered. "All I can say is that..." He stood up and gave Kiibo a kiss on the forehead, which only stood to make him blush even more. "You can consider your feelings reciprocated!"
"W-wait, really!?"
"Mhm! And that's no lie!"
Kiibo leapt onto Kokichi in a hug, and how could they not when they were so happy! He jumped back a little, but hugged back regardless with a small giggle. They both just loved each other so much. "So, are you going to spin, Kiibo?" Maki suddenly piped up, breaking the mood.
"Wow, wait to ruin the romantic mood, Maki Roll," Kiibo said, rolling his eyes. Despite that, and Maki's ranting about how only Kaito was allowed to call her Maki Roll, they returned to their spot in the circle, in a better mood now that they had some reassurance.

MAJOR SPOILERS FOR DANGANRONPA V3 (and probably the other games, too, just to be safe)
So, just as a heads up, I made this list a few months ago, I think in the middle of chapter 4. I was going to update it, but I realized that any feelings I had were just made stronger and the list was still relatively accurate. Here are my thoughts:
I see no god up here other than me
Kirumi Tojo - As you may know about me, I can typically tell who my favorite characters are going to be before I indulge myself in a series. This has especially rung true throughout Danganronpa, I was able to correctly guess Taka and Gundham as my respective favorites before actually seeing them in action. Let me tell you that Kirumi surprised me. I originally guessed K1-B0 as my favorite and while he’s still up there, he is nowhere near Kirumi. I realized she was my favorite the moment chapter 2 ended. Not only were her execution and plan wonderful and brilliantly done, her last-ditch plea to convince everyone to let her live sold her for me. Not only did this plea make sense, it almost worked and I kinda wish it would’ve. Her motive was almost completely selfless and she worked damn hard to escape. Her execution was the only time I cried during this game because I wanted so badly for her to escape, but I knew that all of her efforts were futile. I know her biggest criticism is that her plan from hiding Ryoma’s body was completely unnecessary, but I like to believe she was just nervous and overthought the whole thing. I mean, this had to go perfectly in order for her to save her country, of course she’s going to add a few too many steps.
Miu Iruma - Okay, I know this is going to sound fake, but I actually really love the dichotomy of her character. The way that she acts so self-righteous but is actually quite self-conscious really stood out to me. Of course she’s funny and hot, too, but I feel it’s important to really appreciate the way her character was written. It amazes me that she was written to be the least likable character in the entire series and still ended up being one of my favorites.
You’re the best
K1-B0 - Yes, I type out his name every time. As I already mentioned, he was my original guess for favorite character, but it obviously didn’t work out that way. He stayed in his position of first for a while, but I always knew it wasn’t meant to last, I just didn’t know which character would take his place. Even besides my doubts, I still love K1-B0, I just wish more could’ve been done with him in the earlier chapters. There are several opportunities for him to be a really funny character and have good interactions with Kokichi and Miu, but he just comes off as annoying. I feel like he only really started to be utilized after Miu died with Monotaro and I really enjoyed their dynamic, I just wish we could’ve had some of this side of K1-B0 before this point.
Kokichi Oma - This spot probably isn’t as subjective as I’d like it to be. Every time Kokichi was on screen, I would get visibly annoyed, but I knew I was in for a treat figuring out his deeper intents behind what he’s saying. The only reason I really like Kokichi at all is because he’s fun to analyze. It gets boring to analyze Nagito because his motivation is pretty much just a mix of “hope” and “he’s crazy.” Kokichi’s character trait of lying makes it so fun to individually analyze each of his lines to figure out whether he’s telling the truth and why or why not. Other than that, I guess he has some funny dialogue with Miu sometimes.
Gonta Gokuhara - I really don’t know. I know this is way too early to be unsure about characters, but I just know I couldn’t put him any lower, but I also couldn’t put him any higher. He’s just such a sweetheart, but that’s about where the substance ends. I adored every time he was on my screen, but everything that would’ve been fun to analyze about him just leads back to Kokichi. I still really enjoy his presence, though. I’d like a big Gonta hug.
Kaede Akamatsu - I’ll just say it, I think she would’ve made for a better protagonist. I’ll talk about this later, but Shuichi’s character development doesn’t really feel like it goes anywhere and the twist doesn’t feel worth it because of that. I think the twist should still have been incorporated, but with the roles reversed. Either way, we got what we got, and what we got was tears from Clair de Lune. But seriously, she really is a great pianist. I’ve been trying to learn the piece for ages and it’s still too complicated for me. I mean, it’s in 9/8 for God’s sake. Good for her, regardless.
Tenko Chabashira - Tenko’s a weird case. I didn’t actually care for her that much until quite literally a few lines before she died. Fun fact: I spoiled this entire series for myself before I ended up playing it and I’m still mad at myself. This meant that I was just waiting for all of the deaths to happen, especially Tenko’s. I was fully aware that every line could be her last during the seance, but I wasn’t aware that she would pull on my heart strings before she went. When she tells Himiko that she’ll do the seance in her place so she can talk to Angie, I literally almost started crying. Before this, Tenko was just kind of annoying, but not too bad, but this moment really solidified her spot for me. She really just wanted to help Himiko and I wish she had chosen a better target for her affections.
Hey, I think you’re pretty cool, I like you a lot
Shuichi Saihara - Time to elaborate on what I said for Kaede. I actually really enjoyed Shuichi’s character development throughout the first three chapters. Before coming to Hope’s Peak, he was afraid to hurt people with his detective skills. Kaede notices this and helps him through it, passing the reins to Kaito once she passes. Shuichi convicts Kaede and later Kirumi, much to everyone’s detriment, but they’re all okay with it (Nobody was really super sad about Korekiyo to begin with, lol). Then, starting in chapter 4, everyone just kinda flips on him. Shuichi + the rest of the gang - Kokichi all believe that Gonta is innocent and Shuichi tries to prove this. Instead of supporting him, everyone (especially Kaito) tries to... stop him??? from proving it??? They’re all just in agreement that it wasn’t Gonta, but don’t want to proceed with the investigation to figure out who it was instead. It’s really frustrating and made my overall experience much less enjoyable. This is bumped up a few notches in chapter 5 with Maki. I understand that she was part of the whole case, but that doesn’t make it any less annoying that she won’t let me prove Kaito was the victim. It just feels like the character development was all for nothing and every student feels like a human obstacle (except K1-B0, of course). Still relatable and emo, though.
Rantaro Amami - I would make the joke everyone expects, but I’m on my laptop and I don’t know how to get to the emoji keyboard.
Ryoma Hoshi - I genuinely don’t have anything to say about Ryoma. He’s my halfway point because I don’t have anything particularly for him and I don’t have anything particularly against him, either. Go off, funky little cat man.
Kaito Momota - He got on my nerves in chapter 4, but he was a genuinely sweet character that I really enjoyed talking to. Any time he would talk about the stars, I would swoon because he’s just such a natural romantic. Not really my type, though. Very average.
Monophanie - Legally you can’t ask me why the monokubs are where they are. She’s voiced by Natalie Hoover (Sonia) and I guess that’s my only reasoning.
Monotaro - I really just liked his interactions with K1-B0 in chapter 4. Other than that, I greatly disliked his and Monophanie’s presence in Gonta’s execution. 0/10 worst use for monokubs.
Monodam - A nice, non-distracting addition to Korekiyo’s execution. But he had so much potential and just threw it all away. Apparently I’m a basketball dad from a high school movie now.
I remember you
Angie Yonaga - Many times, I’ve found myself asking who I ship from the series and this love triangle comes to mind. Of Angie, Himiko, and Tenko... I only really like Tenko. I don’t hate Angie’s cult stuff as much as everyone else seems to, but she didn’t have nearly enough of a presence for me to latch onto outside of the cult stuff, which was funny, I will admit.
Maki Harukawa - I was so excited the whole game for her to get cool. I knew she was going to get cool, I just didn’t know when or how. But then, it was chapter 5 already and she hadn’t gotten cool in my eyes yet. I was really meh on her by that chapter anyway, but her being annoying really knocked her down a few pegs. She got a couple extra points for surprising me during the case, but not enough to bump her up any spots.
Himiko Yumeno - I was rooting for her to be crushed under the rock at the end. She was fine before chapter 3, but then they tried to develop her with the Akane treatment and it didn’t work for me at all. She just got on my nerves during the third trial and continued to contribute nothing throughout the rest of the game. During chapter 5 and 6, it’s like the writers just completely forgot that she was there. This would’ve been fine if they weren’t the last couple of chapters and she was one of about 6 people left alive. She had a role to play and didn’t play it in the slightest. The most she was utilized after chapter 3 was as Miu’s replacement post-chapter 5. Someone needed to fill the dirty jokes quota and I guess Himiko was chosen. #GiveTenkoABetterLoveInterest2021
Monosuke - The only thing I remember him doing throughout the entire game was distract me from Kirumi’s exectuion. Not a fan.
You are the worst. Literal scum. Leave this planet and never return
Korekiyo Shinguji - Okay, listen. He’s not that bad. His design is actually one of the best, in my opinion and I love his dedication to his craft. However, he just creeps me out whenever he’s on screen and I’d prefer not to be around him. It’s not even the sister thing, I honestly think that’s funny and a nice change of pace, but his overall demeanor is creepy. Not to mention he’s played by Todd Haberkorn and he’s been in one too many roles recently. Hopefully I’ll get over it, but as for now, that loses him points.
Tsumugi Shirogane - I know, not exactly an unpopular opinion. She’s just annoying and downright pisses me off a lot of the time with her “plain” shtick. I already knew she was going to be the mastermind, so most of the game was just me waiting for her to reveal it. I swear, I almost couldn’t take it every time she said something like, “What if there isn’t a mastermind?” “What?? There’s a mastermind????” Just stfu Tsumugi. You all are lucky I don’t have the energy to talk about 3-6 right now.
Monokid - Hate the tongue sprite, that’s literally the only reason he’s down here. He’s also kind of annoying, but made the best addition to an execution out of all of the monokubs. His death was one of the few things that surprised me in this game and it was a welcome twist. I was sick of him by this point, but was still incredibly shocked when he was pushed into the execution. Then, his severed head rolls out to all of the students looking on in shock at Kaede’s death. Masterful. Still hate the tongue sprite.
There we go. Definitely my least favorite cast out of the whole series, but it’s still fun to love on and hate on a lot of the characters, as per usual. There are just a few too many in the middle tier (metaphorically speaking) that are either uninteresting or just don’t get their time to shine. Maybe they’ll eventually grow on me more, but I doubt it.

Hi! Could I request the V3 boys reactions to their s/o becoming the blackened because they were trying to save them.
Yesssss more angst! These were fun to write!
TWs: Blood, Death, Suicide Mentions, and Major DRV3 Spoilers
..............
Ryoma
No..it couldn’t be true..could it?
Ryoma couldn’t believe you’d actually kill someone, though your reason came as a shock: It was to save his life.
Kirumi was plotting to murder him after the second motive came out. And she obviously panicked when you showed up instead of him, so she tried attacking you.
But you retaliated, leaving her body in the bathroom and altering the crime scene to make it look like she slipped while cleaning it.
You didn’t want to kill anyone, but you were terrified she might target him some other time if you didn’t stop her.
Yet Ryoma vehemently denied you did anything, arguing with Shuichi up until he pointed out incriminating evidence.
He was crushed, knowing he’s going to lose another loved one.
He can’t understand why a criminal like him was worth saving.
But the deed was done. And as your final wish before being executed, you plead for him to survive and see that life’s worth it.
While he’s never been good with promises, he’ll try to keep this last one...for your sake.
Shuichi
He learned the truth earlier than anyone else.
Someone knew he was too smart, always leading the trials and making the swift deductions.
So they believed eliminating him would guarantee them escape from the academy, as everyone would arrive to wrong conclusions without him.
However you put a stop to their plot, accidentally killing them with their own weapon they prepared.
Shuichi didn’t want it to be you--not you, of all people--so he’s far more reluctant to accuse you of murder.
He’s pretty much mute throughout the trial, but you take notice fast and see him slipping back into that cowardly detective persona.
“Shuichi, don’t you dare go back into hiding. Don’t you dare look away from the truth again.”
“..but...”
He just absolutely refuses to. He can’t....not this time.
So instead, you reveal the truth about your crime. Every last detail--from when the motive came out to how you disposed of the evidence.
By the end of your explanation, he’s in tears--realizing you saved his life..in exchange for your own.
Every night since then, he cries as he hugs the Helping Yacchi plush you gave him the day before the body was discovered.
It hurt so much to condemn you, someone he truly loved.
Kokichi
You learned very quickly that Miu was plotting to kill Kokichi, after noticing her put a bottle of poison in his seat before returning to hers and logging in.
That made you livid. But more scared than anything else.
So you formulated a plan after learning everything (or almost everything) about the virtual world.
You overheard Miu and Kokichi planning to meet on the mansion rooftop, and you didn’t like that idea one bit.
Little did you know, he and Gonta were conspiring to murder her, too, but you beat them to the punch.
Obviously he was pissed someone foiled his plans....but imagine his shock when it turned out to be you.
The two were suspects for a long time as they explained the “Killing Game Busters” scheme.
But since Miu died by your hands--their names were cleared.
Kokichi was in frustrated tears, yelling at you for not telling him sooner.
But he ultimately breaks down when your punishment was announced.
He clings to you, crying and begging you not to leave him--he even pleads with Monokuma to let him die with you.
This time it’s not an act.
He feels genuine sorrow and heartache for a long time after the trial.
Gonta
It’d be impossible to think anyone would try to kill him.
But someone tried taking advantage of his gullibility. And you happened to be there at the exact same time, attacking the assailant while your entomologist boyfriend ran off in fear.
You cleaned as much evidence as you could before finding and consoling him, lying that you just talked to them.
He believes you and is relieved---until the body discovery announcement plays later on.
Even though you lied, he doesn’t blame you. Not even during the trial where you made up an alibi.
But when Gonta himself is questioned...he clams up, knowing exactly what happened and being too scared to say the truth.
He doesn’t want to condemn you! Gentlemen don’t-
You reassure him it’s okay. Shuichi has you in a corner and there’s no point in letting the trial drag on.
So he eventually admits what he saw, and he can only cry as he votes you as the Blackened.
You two share one last hug, and he says he’ll never ever call you a killer, thanking you for protecting him even if he failed to protect you.
Korekiyo
It doesn’t come as a surprise that someone would try murdering him. He could see the hatred in their eyes whenever he looked at them.
His menacing appearance seems to be more than enough of a reason to target him.
However, after finding their body and signs of a struggle surrounding the crime scene, he arrives to the conclusion that the culprit knew he was in danger and killed to protect him.
Ah...how beautiful that realization was.
Or so he thought.
When it’s revealed you carried out that deed, using his golden sword to swiftly kill the victim, his heart is completely shattered.
‘No..no, no, no, no, no!!’
He feels anger, sorrow, confusion, and..so many other unpleasant things at once as you confess to the crime.
Not even Sister calms him down. He becomes belligerent, trying to steer everyone away from the truth and claim he killed the victim in self-defense.
You have to step off your podium to console him, as he was screaming his head off and scaring everyone.
When the trial is over, he just holds you close, begging Monokuma not to take you--his one true love--away from him.
But alas, it’s all for nothing as you’re sentenced to your execution.
Though you remind Korekiyo of what he’s taught you about death, as you didn’t fear it, and you promise you’ll watch over him in the afterlife.
Kaito
He’s incredibly outraged when everyone suspects you as the culprit in spite of the evidence that piles up.
“Shuichi, you're not actually gonna believe their crap, right?! Stop screwing around--!”
“He’s not, Kaito. It's the truth."
Stunned, he looks at you. Since your podium was conveniently next to his, he didn’t have to look far to see the guilt in your eyes.
Learning your motivation, however, is what ultimately crushed him.
You killed...to protect him?
No..
That couldn’t be right! He was suppose to protect you! Didn’t he always tell you how killing was wrong and-?!
But the truth was you did try talking some sense into the victim...but they attacked you instead, and you retaliated in self-defense. So it was purely accidental.
Kaito is pissed when Monokuma jests that “murder is murder” no matter what and he actually tries fighting the Exisals.
You insist he doesn’t interfere, and plead for him to use that strength to help protect everyone else instead.
His spirit is broken for a while, but...he’ll recover and keep fighting on. For your sake.
K1B0
Something in you snapped when you overheard Kokichi taunt your robot boyfriend for the last time, actually hurting him physically as well as emotionally.
K1B0 went to you in tears, not understanding why he hated him so much.
After comforting him, you’ve finally had enough. You were sick of him being harassed nonstop.
So you sent him to see Miu while you met with Kokichi to “talk”.
While the Ultimate Supreme Leader seemed suspicious, he let his guard down...sealing his fate as you strangled him with his own scarf.
Then you inflicted numerous wounds on his corpse to disguise the true cause of death.
But when the truth was revealed, K1B0 was in total shock at your motive.
He couldn’t believe you’d do something so barbaric.
Even if Kokichi bullied him relentlessly, there’s no reason you had to go as far as murder him!
However he understands anger can be a powerful emotion--one that throws any and all sense of logic out the window.
Still..it hurt to watch you get executed. He went into shutdown for the rest of the day/night.
And here he was, thinking you two had finally torn down the wall of “forbidden love” between human and robot for good.
Rantaro
You managed to kill Tsumugi before she had a chance to murder Rantaro and Kaede’s final part of her plan went into motion.
The shot put ball’s sudden appearance startled him into forgetting about the hidden room and running out of the library..
And up the stairs as the obnoxious music stops and one of the girls yelled for everyone to come into the bathroom--where Tsumugi’s body was.
At that point, the game should’ve ended since you actually killed the mastermind.
But of course, Team Danganronpa had backup plans and thus the game kept going.
You had rearranged the crime scene to make it look like a suicide, leading everyone to assume the time limit’s pressures are what killed the cosplayer.
But eventually your crime was unraveled and Rantaro was utterly devastated.
You’re the first Blackened in yet another killing game he was forced to participate in.
You only killed Tsumugi because you found it suspicious she suddenly ran off on her own near the time limit’s end.
In doing so you unknowingly saved Rantaro’s life in exchange for your own.
He was upset you did something so rash when he clearly told everyone not to, but...at the same time he’s grateful to be alive because of you.
He swears your death won’t be in vain. He’s gonna escape this game with everyone else.

Danganronpa V3 characters Most to Least likely:
to take their S/O’s side during a scrum debate, knowing their S/O is lying
Sort of an imagine + most to least likely list due to my explanation of each scenario. Warning: spoilers for the entire game throughout.
-Mod Kokichi
Kokichi Ouma - Once he’s in love with you, he’s ride or die to the point that he doesn’t care if he or the others die for you. Plus, lying at the scrum debate and winning doesn’t technically mean the trial goes poorly or that his S/O is the culprit, it’s just a step to find more evidence and weed out traitors, and that’s just how he would justify it to himself. Plus, it’s just waaaaay more fun to spice up the trial with your lies~
Kaito Momota - He chose to love you, right? So he has to believe in you. You must have a good reason for lying, he thinks, but even if you don’t, some people are just worth dying for.
Tenko Chabashira - A similar mindset to Kaito. She will trust her S/O, believing that there’s no way you could be malicious, and wanting to believe your true heart is pure to the very end. Even if she’s not confident with her decision to support you, she’s gonna yell and fight like she is.
Kaede Akamatsu - She wouldn’t choose an S/O who would lie to save themselves and let everyone else die, so if you’re lying, it must be for a good reason.
Shuichi Saihara - A mix of Kaede and Kaito’s reasoning, he believes that he chose a good person to love, and believes in your intellect. You must be lying to twist the trial in a positive way. He did point out Kaede’s lie in the first trial reluctantly, but he just had a mild crush on her...he LOVES you, and whereas Kaede asked him to expose her lie, you were clearly wanting him on your side. He just couldn’t turn against you.
Ryoma Hoshi - He wouldn’t lie for a friend or aquaintence in a trial, being a very blunt and honest guy, but if the only person in this world who gave him a reason to live and loves him needs him on their side, you’re damn right he’s going to lie for them.
Rantarou Amami - Amami isn’t a selfish guy. He’s loved many people in his life: siblings, parents, friends, previous lovers. He knows what it means to sacrifice and even though he is the Ultimate Survivor, it was because he’s good at it, not necessarily for selfish reasons. If his little sister had been throw in this killing game or the previous one he was in, he would die for her in an instant, an he would die for you. So...he trusts you. And after a bit of a shocked expression and wondering what you’re up to, he would join in and lie with you, and he’s so confident and smooth that he might just fool the majority of your classmates.
Korekiyo Shinguji - Make no mistake, Kiyo has no trouble lying on his own behalf...but for others, no. He would be very conflcited at first, even trying, subtly and gracefully, to get you to tell the truth and sweating over your lies in the trial, because deep down, he can be a very selfish person. No one has ever wanted him in their lives and he’s a loner, so self-preservation always came first. Why stick his neck out or care about people who bully/ostracize/judge him? Why see other humans as anything other than objects of beauty, precious but ultimately not as valuable as his own life, just as an artifact would be. But...you didn’t look at him like that, like he was a creep or inquire about his mask and habits. He had fallen in love with you, realizing his relationship with his sister growing up was something traumatic and not normal, very much forced on his young mind. He had to...he had to lie for you.
Tsumugi Shirogane - As the mastermind, she can easily tell where the trial is headed and can probably make Monokuma say some stupid reason or new rule for getting you out of your lies later on, so she’s willing to lie for you in the debate, putting on her innocent and naive facade, just with a new layer of lovesick.
Miu Iruma - This would go one of two ways. 1. She genuinely doesn’t know you’re lying and sides with you, barking at your opponents in your defense, or 2. She knows you’re lying and the anger behind her words thrown at your opponents is half for them for accusing you, and half for you for being a dumbass, lying little bitch who now has dragged her into this. If you both survived this trial, she would chew you out later.
Himiko Yumeno - She doesn’t want to die, but as seen in-game, she quickly loses heart when it comes to losing people she loves or being pressured. She would hesitantly tell you to stop lying and that she trusted you, so how could you act like this, but would slowly lose the will to fight and want to take your side because she loves you, even going as far as to say something like: “Nyeh...I know S/O is lying, b-but, but I’m gonna take their side until the very end, and I’m not gonna vote for them. I...I just can’t,” while trembling softly. And shame on you for making her feel that way.
Maki Harukawa - She wouldn’t associate herself with, much less date someone who lies for the wrong reasons. She would lie for you if she felt it was necessary or for the greater good or moving the trial in the right direction, but would avoid voicing her opinion in the trial altogether unless her hand is forced. Maki is more likely to call out your bullshit bluntly and in a monotone voice, before forcing you to tell the truth to the others and own up to what you did. If you were only lying to find evidence or save face, she wouldn’t even bring it up after the trial, but if your lie was to cover for you killing someone, she would close her eyes during your execution and silently pretend it didn’t hurt as much as it did, crying later when absolutely no one could see her. They would be tears of grief over losing her one true love, and tears of anger at your selfishness and her stupidity in choosing to love you.
Angie Yonaga - “Atua says it’s alwaaaays better to speak the truth!” She says while posing her hands in a praying position. You saw how she threw Himiko under the bus in the second trial, there was no way she was lying for you or dying for your stupid lie. If it was a lie to keep the trail moving, oh well, she exposed you. If you lied and died as the culprit, oh well, it is better to be with Atua anyway, and she can find other people to be around easily. Additionally, I really see Angie as aromantic or averse to real romantic relationships. I think she would see her S/O as someone who cares about her and Atua, and is easy to manipulate, but who she admits she likes spending time with more than others. Still not lying or dying for you though.
Gonta Gokuhara - the key word here is knowing his S/O is lying. If he is convinced you’re not lying even when you are, he will take your side until convinced otherwise by his friends. He loves you so very much, but gentleman don’t lie, and he believes that his S/O should always tell the truth. “S-S/O, telling lies only hurt yourself and others. Gonta knows you are good person. Only bad people lie!” He would be heartbroken that you want him to take your side and expect him to lie, and has a very the-truth-shall-set-you-free mindset. Plus, I don’t think Gonta would think so far ahead as to see that the truth may get his beloved killed. He’s thinking of the here and now, this particular conversation. And you shouldn’t be lying to your friends.
Kirumi Tojo - If Kirumi ever let herself get close enough to you to fall in love, she would still set strict boundaries for herself, and have a very professional/master and maid type relationship with you. She would comfort you more and maybe blush at your contact or flirty advances but not reciprocate too much becasue there is a part of her that keeps every relationship in her life at a arm’s length. She won’t let herself truly love. No one can break down her wall, for that’s what makes her perfect to serve unconditionally. When realizing you’re lying, because oh, she definitely would, she would close her eyes, a small frown on her face. She’s disappointed in you, but reminds herself again why she doesn’t get close to people. She sighs, exposing your lies calmly to the others with phrases a little less cold than usual, such as: “I’m sorry, S/O, but that’s not the complete truth and I can’t allow it.”
Kiibo - Simply put, no matter his feelings toward you, Kiibo knows that in this trial, lying could lead to everyone dying. A handful of friends and himself dying for a liar is just not fair. He wouldn’t lie with or for you. In the best case scenario inside his careful and analytical mind, you are exposed for lying and it was a petty lie or doesn’t mean you’re the culprit. I the worst case scenario, it leads to your death. And while he feels the closest feeling to human love he has ever felt for you, he can’t let a bunch of innocent friends die for your lie. He would miss you, and be very depressed about losing you and maybe never try to have a relationship like this again, but his decision is what was ethically and morally right.

Some Danganronpa spoilers ahead for the entire franchise so please don't read if you don't want spoilers, serious topics will be discussed
Ok so a while back me and a discord friend had this au-ish idea where the entirety of danganronpa is just Tsumugi's trauma fanfiction based off of people she knows irl and online as a way to cope because she was abused and neglected at home
These are the main details of the au under the cut, there will be no in depth details about the abuse but it is mentioned, I sincerely apologize if I inaccurately portray these issues just in case I did
Tsumugi cosplays at home and that's why she calls herself the ultimate cosplayer, and she makes herself the mastermind because she likes being the villain to cope with her trauma
All the characters from dr1 and sdr2 and the dr3 anime are all based off of people online that she looks up to (or despises in some cases), and characters with alternate versions of themselves are the combinations of their siblings (ex. Toko and Syo are twins and Izuru, Hajime, and super saiyan Hajime are triplets), with the exception of Junko who is an actress who mainly plays villains but irl is really sweet
Monokuma is Tsumugi's homeroom teacher who occasionally lets his sister substitute and the monokubs are his young children that Tsumugi really hates, he's also Junko and Mukuro's uncle and he and Tsumugi have a father-daughter relationship
Junko helps Tsumugi with her cosplays and makeup which is why Tsumugi idolizes her so much and wants to be like her
A lot of the poor writing in dr is due to Tsumugi not having the proper writing experience or knowledge on certain subjects which is why they come off so poorly
The Love Hotel scenes are Tsumugi trying to work through her own sexuality crisis alone (albeit poorly), and her own LH scene is her projecting what she believes is the only relationship she'd ever be loved in even if it's really messed up
All of the blackened and antagonistic characters in dr are people Tsumugi either hates or fears, and those with redeeming motives are the ones Tsumugi fears but recognizes that they are good people
Most characters in dr are cosplayers irl, streamers/youtubers, or social media influencers, aside from in v3 where everyone is a classmate of hers
The survivors of v3 are Tsumugi's irl friends, and the survivors of the prior games just came down to process of elimination mixed with who she liked
Her insistence of being "plain" in the games is because her parents always called her useless, and a part of the reason she hates Monokuma's kids is because she envies them for having the happy childhood she never had
She made monokuma the mascot because he’s known for his brutal punishments to kids who severely break school rules
All of the backstories for the dr1 and sdr2 characters are based off of one of the following: their main cosplay, their favorite game that they’ve played, or their aesthetic on their main social media account
Tsumugi works a lot of part time jobs to pay for her cosplays and her clothes and food
At some point Tsumugi posted her trauma/vent fanfics online under a different pen name and renaming all of the characters so they couldn’t be tracked (each of the games and the anime were posted as their separate fanfics and each chapter in the games is a chapter in the fanfic) and the fanfic blew up super fast, which she didn’t expect, and then people started cosplaying it for the irony and when she’s asked about if she’ll cosplay from it she says she’s not in it for the irony, she also got jaw-dropped when the cosplayers she turned into some of the characters from dr1 and sdr2 started cosplaying from it
One time Kokichi found her fanfic for v3 and commented about how his character seemed super familiar and she responded “no reason :)” and blocked him because his username was super obvious, he soon makes confused posts about it on tiktok
Eventually during Tsumugi’s 3rd year she reposted all of the fanfics but with much better writing and character arcs because she took online writing classes and the internet BLEW UP EVEN HARDER and so many people geeked out over it
Eventually Tsumugi tells her close friends about how she wrote the fics but it accidentally gets out to the whole class and when anyone tries to bully her about it all of her friends fight the bullies
The Love Hotel scenes were completely separate fanfics she impulsively wrote and posted at 3am when her sexuality crisis hit too hard, even she hates them and deleted them a year after they were posted because she just can’t believe she wrote them, let alone post them, and never rewrote them
The following are her relationships with the characters in V3 since she has no real relationships with the characters in dr1 and sdr2
All of the character’s ultimates are in fact based on actual skills they each have, and if they don’t have a distinct skill Tsumugi deep dives and tries to think of one, Junko was mostly inspired by her ability to analyze super well, which helped with her makeup ability, and because she played villain characters who caused despair
Edit: forgot to mention, but when Tsumugi kills her self insert at the end of v3, it's her essentially venting out how if all the important people in her life leave her she has nothing to live for anymore
Shuichi: They met after being some of the few kids in class who had nowhere to sit during lunch so they sat next to each other, after talking some more and realizing they had a lot in common, they became really close and he would sometimes cosplay with her, he also has a crush on Kaede even though it’s only from afar due to his social anxiety, Tsumugi however feels as though she’s a burden to him which is why she has him hate her in the last trial, when she told him she wrote the fanfic he constantly reassured her that she’s not a burden and was super embarrassed that he was made the protag after kaede, though he did find pregame him a bit odd
Himiko: Himiko is also an outsider due to her depression and general tired personality, she’s one of the few people who don’t judge Tsumugi for her cosplaying and anime interests and they’re both in anime club and will occasionally cosplay together, she was the one who accidentally let it slip about the fanfic thing but Tsumugi couldn’t bring herself to be mad
Maki: Another outsider but on purpose, she met Tsumugi after she found Tsumugi getting bullied and pushed around by some older kids, and afterwards she hung around Tsumugi to protect her and they eventually got pretty close even though Maki is generally socially dead, she also helps get Tsumugi food when Tsumugi’s parents are too neglectful to feed her, she also is the main protector of Tsumugi from her bullies, before and after the fic
Kiibo: An exchange student from being homeschooled, he and Tsumugi used to be pretty close, he was pretty famous on social media so sometimes they would go and do influencer stuff together and he’d cosplay with her, eventually he started dating Miu and they got a bit more distant due to Tsumugi not being a big fan of Miu, but they have no harsh feelings towards each other, even though Tsumugi thinks he hates her, he’s also a top student, he was a little weirded out by how both he and Miu were portrayed in the original fic but after talking it out with Tsumugi he let it slide and they talk more often because of that
Kaede: She met Kaede in secondary school and they got fairly close up until Kaede met Rantaro, after they met Kaede started hanging out with him more (romantic or platonic is up for interpretation) and Tsumugi was really hurt and jealous which is why she has Kaede kill Rantaro, she and Tsumugi reignited a relationship after the fanfic thing came out because she was super concerned about how Tsumugi was doing since you don’t just write that stuff without having some sort of trauma, they became closer afterwards and told Tsumugi she was flattered she was made into such a nice girl but also kinda freaked out that Tsumugi technically killed her but they also talked that out, she didn’t hold pregame Kaede against her because Kaede did in fact act like that when she was younger
Rantaro: Him and Tsumugi knew each other in middle school but didn’t like each other, she envied him because of how easy of a time he had making friends, and later on hated him for “stealing” Kaede from her, he is on ok terms with Tsumugi after the fanfic incident because Kaede and Tsumugi reignited a friendship and they tolerate each other
Kirumi: Tsumugi fears and looks up to Kirumi, as Kirumi is head of the student council and class rep but also very strict, one time Tsumugi got pushed down before school and was forced to come with a dirty uniform and Kirumi ripped into her for it and made her cry (although Kirumi quickly apologized and tried to comfort her but the trauma already set in), after she learned about the fic she talked to Tsumugi and gave her a singular pass for it because she did a fairly good job capturing Kirumi’s determination and sophistication
Ryoma: She’s never talked to Ryoma personally but she knows he has a criminal record for some minor crime and that scares her alongside how he one time suplexed a student three times his size after the student tried to pick on him for being short
Korekiyo: He freaks her out and she really hates his sister, and one time he psychoanalyzed her and it hit way too close to home so now she both doesn’t like him and respects him, which is why she just has his sister be the motive/his abuser because she full on just hates her cause she’s a “normie” who made fun of her one time in public, after he learned about the fic he tried to talk to her about the original version of the v3 fic to talk it through because he knew about her issues and now they’re on good terms
Angie: Funny enough she just is way too afraid to talk to Angie because she is a foreign exchange student and Tsumugi was really confused by her religion which is why it’s handled so poorly and why Angie is so focused on Atua, Angie also is super confident in herself and extroverted and that intimidated Tsumugi so much she just never talked to her, after the fic Angie sat her down and educated her on the details of her religion so Tsumugi could fix any accidental misconceptions about the religion and culture
Tenko: With Tsumugi’s constant sexuality crisis, she also has internalized homophobia which is why Tenko, an open women lover, scares her so much, Tsumugi can’t comprehend it so she made Tenko really creepy and oddly violent towards men even though the actual Tenko only beats up men who harass her or other women and not just every single man, she’s also really nice to Himiko and because Tsumugi fears Tenko she warped it
Miu: Miu is also a woman confident in her sexuality, she just comes off a lot more strongly than Tenko and is even more intimidating to Tsumugi, Tsumugi also thinks she’s gross because she’s open about her kinks and her gross ways of making sure she’s healthy, after she and Kiibo started dating she started to resent Miu, but regardless of this she still acknowledges that Miu is a top student, she only really likes Miu because she and Kokichi hate each other, but after it got out that Tsumugi wrote the fic Miu tried to pick on her but Maki scared her off
Gonta: She really loves Gonta and at some point had a crush on him, but he turned her down after Kokichi spread rumors that she was afraid of bugs and Gonta didn’t want to freak her out due to the fact he lives in an area full of bugs and has a few pet bugs, she has no harsh feelings towards him however and still likes him, though not as a crush, Gonta was still super nice to her after the fic thing and doesn’t think any less of her
Kokichi: She absolutely despises him and everything he does, they’ve known each other since they were kids and he’s always picked on her, though to him he’s only friendly teasing and thinks they have a friendly rivalry, he does everything out of childish amusement and doesn’t actually think he’s doing any harm to her even though she actively hates him and has gotten punched on several occasions by Maki for teasing Tsumugi too much, he also is purposely controversial online and has tried to be cancelled way too many times but somehow finds a way to find dirt on the people cancelling him and now everyone is too scared to cancel him, he also “bullies” cosplayers on tiktok by dueting them and mocking them but to him it’s ironic but to everyone else it isn’t, he has done this to Tsumugi on multiple occasions and she hates it, he tried to tease her about writing the fic and blocking him but Maki punches him in the throat, he makes a tiktok about that as well but keeps her identity a secret
Kaito: He became Maki’s boyfriend sometime after she met Maki and, in his stupidity, accidentally insulted Tsumugi’s comfort cosplay and she hated him after that, his death and illness was inspired by the one time he got the flu and gave it to everyone and it ruined one of her wigs, after a while they began talking more and she began to realize he wasn’t a jerk, just really stupid, so she made him a nicer character, after it got out that she wrote the fanfics she asked if he was mad he died but instead he was like “nah man that was a super cool way to go”, he was confused on pregame Kaito until Tsumugi explained that that’s how she used to see him

Please, anymore thoughts on Kokichi?? I'd love to hear you infodump :) love your content btw
aaa omg :0 it’s a little embarrassing infodumping publicly aaaa but i’ll do it, here’s some thoughts abt him.
for starters! i think kokichi is locked into position of antagonist very early on and doesn’t really have a chance to fight it. this is partly his fault of course, i believe the reason he’s so rude and hostile is so he keep his distance from people as he doesn’t trust any of them. he reiterates many times that this is a game of suspicion and he will not let himself fall victim to someone by trusting them. he doesn’t want to appear vulnerable either so he doesn’t allow anyone even a glimpse of his true feelings most of the time, he lies so much so even when he does express true feelings, you’ll never know if he’s being serious or not.
Tumblr media
but this also means that no matter what he does during the game, even if it’s an action that has good intentions or is for the better of the group, it will be met with hostility because everyone assumes from a very early point that he does not have their best interests in mind. this means he would literally be unable to redeem himself in their eyes because they’ve already decided that he’s a bad person no matter what. even if he started acting nice and doing everything right, people would continue to think hes scheming and is up to no good.
Tumblr media
for example, kokichi reveals to everyone that maki is the ultimate assassin, but the others kind of treat him like an asshole for it. kokichi was doing the right thing here! everyone deserved to know that there was a professional killer among them, someone who was guarding an entire room full of weapons!! but he’s vilified for doing this. also, something big that always makes me upset, is the fact that people routinely disregard kokichi’s safety and well-being. someone he just outed as a murderer is standing there strangling him and nobody does anything to help him. then of course there’s the scene where he’s busted his head and is covered in blood and very obviously woozy and not okay, but everyone is just annoyed with him and nobody helps him. he doesn’t deserve that. everyone hates him so much.
Tumblr media
and it comes to a point where kokichi weaponizes everyone’s hatred and mistrust of him against the mastermind, by trying to convince everyone that he Is the mastermind in his plans to hopefully end the killing game. and everyone eagerly believes it because they’ve already all got huge hate boners for him, it seems obvious to them. everyone is willing to believe he orchestrated the whole situation they’re trapped in and that he’s a remnant if despair, despite the fact that there’s actually very little evidence for it. everyone except shuichi, who later goes out of his way to prove his suspicions that kokichi isn’t the mastermind nor a remnant of despair to clear his name. which brings me to! why kokichi hates kaito and why he feels that he can trust shuichi.
Tumblr media
kokichi is a very logic over feelings type of guy, and feels that blindly trusting people just because you think they’re your friend is a very dangerous mindset to have, in this situation at least. this is why he butts heads with kaito a lot. kaito is someone who even got mad at shuichi for accusing gonta in his trial, even though gonta Was the culprit and everyone else would be executed if they voted incorrectly, all because kaito’s belief in trusting others was so strong. kaito is very feelings over logic. kaito has a very firm stance on what he believes is right and wrong and he’s Stubborn as fuck about it. that’s part of the reason i don’t really care for kaito, he can get very preachy at times and let’s his feelings get in the way of finding the truth. he seems to feel morally superior to people in a game where morals are simply not black and white in the way he thinks they should be.
which brings me to why kokichi feels he can trust shuichi and only shuichi!
Tumblr media
kaede was shuichi’s closest friend in the game and he did not let his feelings get in the way of naming her as the culprit. if he had blindly believed in her and refused to name her as the culprit despite all the evidence pointing towards her, everyone would have died. it completely tore shuichi up inside to send kaede to her death, it absolutely devastated him, but he did it for the sake of the group. it’s this moment where i think kokichi started taking an interest in shuichi. this is someone who understands the game and understands what has to be done to protect everyone. you can’t get everyone there killed just to protect one person, no matter how close with them you are. i think it’s from here that kokichi slowly started gaining a crush on him as well. i headcanon that kokichi didn’t have much interest in him before he actually saw him in action during the trial, when he entered “detective mode” and got all serious.
Tumblr media
i don’t think this is a complete lie! i don’t think he’s saying he’s in love with him or anything, but i do think it’s true he likes shuichi most out of everyone there. he thinks shuichi is the most interesting and trustworthy and probably does think about him a lot. he does a lot of thinking, the gears in his head are always turning, i get the feeling he doesn’t get a lot of sleep with how much he’s always thinking. it honestly makes me pretty sad thinking about him staying up all night thinking about his situation and trying to plan how he’s going to end the game, all while being super isolated from everyone else and not having any true friends.
which takes me to another point!
Tumblr media
kokichi ouma is a super tragic character. i don’t care what anyone says, i don’t believe having this interpretation of him is “woobifying” him or anything similar. this right here? he’s telling the truth. nobody would care if he died, and nobody Did care when he died. everyone was sad about kaito, there was hardly any talk about kokichi. kokichi died a sad, lonely, unceremonious death. nobody cared when he had blood oozing from his head, nobody cared when maki was strangling him, nobody cares about him.
Tumblr media
he was right. kokichi was always alone, through the whole game. he died alone. and i do think that this coming from shuichi probably hurt. shuichi was the only person there who he thought he could maybe trust. and kokichi did get what he wanted, he needed Everyone to hate him so they’d all believe he was the mastermind if he wanted his plan to work, including shuichi. but i don’t think he was prepared to hear shuichi say this specifically, i think it really hit close to home which is why it shut him up the way it did. and remember, kokichi Did try to ask shuichi to be in on the plan!! during chapter 4, as they were exiting miu’s vr world, he did attempt to ask shuichi to be his accomplice in a very roundabout way, but shuichi ignored him and exited the program. there could have been a world where kokichi and shuichi worked in tandem to try to end the killing game.
Tumblr media
which brings me to why i ship saiou. i love saiou a lot. it’s my comfort ship and it makes me very happy. part of it is that kokichi is my comfort character and i project very heavily onto him. as ive mentioned above, i think kokichi trusted shuichi, was interested in him and he was kokichi’s favorite. i think he had feelings for shuichi and it’s very comforting to imagine shuichi returning his feelings and kokichi getting to be happy. i love aus where kokichi has friends and people actually try to know him and see through his lies, don’t accept them for face value. that’s also why i think kokichi liked shuichi, everyone else took him at face value and didn’t try to look below the surface at all. shuichi was interested in kokichi, interested to know what made him tick and why he did the things he did. he cared enough to want to find out. towards the end of the game shuichi did get very tired and couldnt find any logic in his actions anymore, and ultimately did give up, but once kokichi was gone his conviction to know kokichi’s true intentions came back again.
Tumblr media
I think overall kokichi actually was lonely and wanted someone to care about him. i know the ftes aren’t technically canon but they Are canon compliant and are in character. kokichi’s feelings for shuichi are obvious. kokichi wants to spend time with shuichi and do silly things with him like playing yugioh and having tea parties. kokichi played Rock Paper Scissors against shuichi One Hundred times and shuichi kept playing. and at the end when kokichi got all giddy when shuichi was bandaging his cut, i think he was so excited because someone cared about him. someone cared about him enough to bandage his cut and just that little thing is enough to make him bashful and happy because he isn’t used to being cared for. that’s why i ship saiou, i just want kokichi to be happy and shuichi can make him happy. out of everyone shuichi tried the hardest.
anyway i think that’s all i got! please nobody @ my about my interpretations lol

I love your request with Kokichi with a insomniac! reader. Kokichi deserves more love! Can I request Kokichi having a s/o who hangs out with him most of the time dispute what the other characters say. They are always quick to target him as the bad guy when he makes harmless lies, I want him to have an s/o who can see the reasoning behind his lies and stay with him. He doesn’t deserve to be lonely.
kokichi ouma x reader - lies and tears
Tumblr media
thank you for requesting!💕 sorry for the wait, had some school stuff to take care of! this was really fun to write, hope you like it!💖
despite the messy killing game, you had gotten close to Kokichi. at first he didn’t really seem like he cared about you, but then you two started talking more and more. you hung out with him almost everyday, and he quickly became your best friend. sure, he lied quite a lot, but once you got to know him more you really didn’t mind anymore.
“(Y/N)!! hurry up! they’ll catch you!” you could hear the small leader whisper-yell at you, hiding behind a tree. you two decided to pull a prank on Keebo and Shuichi. the plan was that Kokichi would write something ominous on a stone plate in the garden, and when dickless robot and detective man (those were the code words for ‘Keebo’ and ‘Shuichi’) came to investigate, they’d trip on a fishing line set up by you, causing a bucket of cold water in the tree above them to tip over and douse them.
you snickered and got behind the tree with Kokichi. luckily, it was wide enough to cover you both. “nishishi! this’ll be so good!” the boy laughed, grabbing your arm and pulling you closer to himself, in fear of getting caught. you blushed at his action as you had developed a crush on him, but luckily Kokichi didn’t see because he was peeking.
“i can hear them! i tied that fishing line up real good so they’ll definitely set it off!” you whispered back with an excited tone. you peeked too, both of you waiting for the trap to be set off. your victims walked closer, and closer.. and as if on cue, Keebo took a step, accidentally nudging the wire with his foot, causing the bucket to tip over and the two boys stood there wet; all this happening in a second. you and Kokichi jumped out from behind the tree, clutching your stomachs from laughter.
“gotcha!!” you both shouted simultaneously and gasped for air. Kokichi was rolling on the ground at this point. the two boys seemed angry. Shuichi started to yell, causing your laughter to die down. “what’s wrong with you two?! if Keebo wouldn’t’ve been waterproof, he’d be-” “but he is waterproof, isn’t he? no harm done, you just got wet is all,” you interrupted the detective happily.
“that was a mean thing to do! unforgivable!,” said the robot. Kokichi stood up and fake-cried. “NO, YOU ARE MEAN! how DARE you shout at us!” by this time the others had gathered themselves outside, alarmed by the commotion.
“what’s happening, you shitheads?” Miu asked, taking in the scene. “Shuichi, what are you so goddamn wet for? did you piss yourself or something?”  “no, Miu, Kokichi and (Y/N) pranked us, that’s all,” Shuichi replied with a passive-aggressive tone. he really seemed unhappy. Tenko stepped forward.
“(Y/N), you’re not a part of this, are you? why are you even hanging out with a liar like him? Kokichi’s absolutely insane, (Y/N), have you heard him in the class trials!?” she shouted. you stood there, along with Kokichi. you took a look at him, and you didn’t expect to see what you saw. he was still crying, but it didn’t seem.. fake anymore. atleast not to you. he avoided your eye contact and mumbled something.
before you got the chance to do anything, you heard Kaede. “what’s that, Kokichi? speak up, we can’t hear you.” she said harshly, making her way towards Shuichi, who was still dripping wet. she had a jacket on and took it off, putting it around Shuichi’s shoulders. you noticed Kokichi’s arm twitch. it was the tiniest movement, almost unnoticable. his hands were.. trembling? Kokichi’s voice interrupted your thinking.
“i’m sorry..” he repeated, this time louder. ‘i’m sorry’? what’s that supposed to- Kokichi dashed forward, running past your so-called ‘classmates’ without even looking back. you tried grabbing his wrist but he was too far away by the time you reacted. that’s it, you snapped.
“excuse me.” you said. everyone was now looking at you. “what the FUCK? HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT? first of all, yes. it was partly my idea to prank you two,” you glanced at Shuichi and Keebo, “you can handle a prank, can’t you? everyone’s been pranked before. it’s not like we do this every week. it was just a harmless joke. you didn’t get hurt. and second of all,” you continue, shifting your gaze to Tenko, “what the fuck is wrong with you? why are you all talking about Kokichi like he’s not there? HE HAS FEELINGS TOO YOU KNOW. yes, he may lie a lot but THEY’RE JUST SMALL, HARMLESS LIES. oh, how do i know? because unlike you, i’ve actually made an effort to try to understand him. and either way, you can handle them, can’t you? they don’t hurt you, do they? NO! EXACTLY.” you took a break from your rant to let everything set in.
Tsumugi broke the silence. “(Y/N).. could it be that.. you fancy Kokichi? is that why you are defending him?”
“why, can’t i defend him without having a crush on him? which, for your information, i do, but come on. i defend him because i think you all are overreacting. consider his feelings. he’s not emotionless.” you were really fed up now. they are always attacking him, without even putting themselves in his situation. you finally walked past them, making sure to bump into Tenko and giving her a death stare. you wanted to find Kokichi and comfort him, and maybe even confess to him.
you searched all around the school for Kokichi and after about half an hour, you finally found him in an empty classroom. as you opened the door, he turned around with a small gasp, wiping at his eyes. you leaned against the doorframe, trying to catch your breath. “found.. you..”, you muttered between pants.
“(Y/N)?” he asked, “why are you here?” you were still suprised. for someone like Kokichi to break character, you thought. you felt really bad for him.
“just so you know, Kokichi, after you left i really spoke my mind. i’m sick and tired of them commenting about you and your personality and i think i really got my point across, but i wanna tell you too. i’m on your side. and..”
your voice trailed off as he stood up and closed the door behind you. he locked it aswell, but you didn’t question it. he finally turned to you and smirked, like he always does. “and?~” he asked teasingly.
“i.. like you, Kokichi. it’s the like-like type of like. i like you for who you are. in my eyes you’re perfect and don’t ever change because of what others say about you. you don’t deserve to be lonely. i’m here for you, and i always will be.”
just as you finished your small speech you felt soft lips collide with your own. you melted into the kiss almost instantly, but your face heated up real quick. you could tell that he has been wanting to do this for a long time, it seemed so.. perfectly desperate. when you pulled apart from eachother, he just stood there, grinning to himself.
“nishishi, you’re cute when you’re blushing,” he comments, to which you blush even more. “also, wearing (F/C) today huh?” he teases, as you realize that he somehow noticed the color of your underwear. “just kidding, i didn’t really see, but the look on your face confirmed it!” he laughs.
“damn you, grape boy!” you shout, but then you start laughing because no matter what he did, he would always be your grape boy.
