It's been two days and I still can't believe how well the whole drama in Singapore fits into the silly little story I'm writing right now...
The whole 'they're going to sacrifice Leclerc' thanks George for that quote and his engine issues.
Max starting P11, getting overtaken by a bunch of cars on track, Liam being the one who kicked him out of Q3...
Max and Charles fighting for P4 in the end...
Charles disappointed look in the post race interview, Max 'we don't expect much' Verstappen

Hi!! I absolutely love yo he fics talk about carrying the Jamie tartt fic community 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
could you please write something about like the Richmond team being out at a bar and someone kissing Jamie and reader seeing and the chaos that ensues, hopefully with a happy ending but I trust whatever you want to do 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Haha hey, thanks! I write because I have a lot of things in my head, so thanks for enjoying it and for requesting!
Also I literally hate looking for gifs because I can never find the ones I want
Tumblr media
wrote all your lines in the script in my mind
“Why did I let you drag me here?” you ask your absolute best friend the whole world, “I hate bars so much!”
Colin grins. “It’s good for you to get out of your flat and into the real world for a change. You’re getting all pasty.”
“I am not!”
You can’t help but catch onto his infectious mood. He’s still happy after scoring a winning goal, so he and Michael convinced you to go out with them even though it was almost a whole week ago.
You and Colin had grown up together, kicking the football around his backyard until age ten, when you declared you were never playing with him again because he was “unbeatable.”
You hate losing.
You two had been inseparable, even at university. Colin was more outgoing, what with football and all. You were too, in your own way, but you hated bars. And going to the club. You said it was too many drunk, sweaty people but both Michael and Colin promised that it would be fun this time.
“If I have to go, you have to go,” Michael had said to you.
You had groaned, but acquiesced. You’re not too sure of your decision anymore, especially because of how many footballers are present.
The last time you were out with them, one of Colin’s teammates had taken it upon himself to flirt with you the entire night. And he flirted very well. Like, so well that you went home that night incredibly flustered. So well that it now occupied a permanent place in your brain. You played the moment he tucked a strand of hair behind your ear on repeat in your mind, like a tab on your laptop that you couldn’t bring yourself to close.
And you told fucking Michael, who told fucking Colin, who then teased you about it mercilessly until you swore you’d tell the press about the Incident when you two were ten.
Colin shut up after that.
Actually, that’s not entirely true. You’d go out to coffee and he’d say, “Saw your footballer today,” and you’d say, “He’s not MY footballer,” and Michael would ask, “Then why are you blushing?” so you’d respond, “I’m not blushing, it’s just hot in here, alright?”
Anyway, you’re at this fucking bar filled with fucking footballers and you catch yourself looking around the room for one in particular, and Michael catches you too. He doesn’t say anything, just winks at you and pulls Colin over to an open booth.
You tell Colin all the time that you like Michael better than him. It’s because Michael knows the meaning of the word discretion.
“I can be discreet,” Colin says.
“And I can play football,” you reply.
Michael says you two bicker like a pair of siblings. He’s not wrong.
Right now, though, you’re not bickering. A few of Colin’s friends are filling in the booth. Sam slides in first, then Isaac, and then finally Jamie.
Michael is sitting opposite Sam, then Colin, then you.
You’re all squished in, ordering drinks and food, swapping stories and laughing like you’ve known each other for ages.
You suppose you sort of have.
You’ve known Colin the longest, obviously, but the next one is Isaac. You met him shortly after university because he was always around Colin. You met Sam once he signed for Richmond, and Jamie when he domineered the little triad of him, Isaac, and Colin.
You really didn’t like Jamie.
You told Colin all the time that he was a prick and a bully, but Colin wouldn’t listen.
It actually was the cause for one of your biggest fights. You two didn’t speak for three months.
Then Roy head-butted Colin and Jamie was gone, and you’re sure there are other details in between but whatever the case, Colin was at your doorstep with takeout and an apology. You watched Look Both Ways and argued about which was was the best. And that was that.
When Jamie showed back up, you were less than thrilled.
“If you fucking act like that prick again, I’ll fucking sabotage this date,” you had said. You were setting up Colin with a friend of yours named Michael. You didn’t know him incredibly well, but you had a lot of mutual friends who absolutely adored him. You were pretty sure he and Colin would click but you didn’t want Colin to act like a douche again.
He didn’t. It worked out for him.
Jamie knew who you were to a certain extent, which you suppose is why he was flirting with you that night at the club. Your distaste for him was evident, but you felt so uncomfortable in that environment. You were sitting alone, trying to make yourself invisible, when a tipsy Jamie found you and began to make it his mission to get you to a) smile and b) not hate him. He succeeded at both, as well as secret mission c) make you blush and fall madly in love with him. (Not that he knew that option existed.)
But he did that with all the girls, so you tried not to let it go to your head.
It did anyway, which is why you’re sitting in this booth in this bar trying not to look at his perfect face for to long and pretending you don’t notice that his foot is resting next to yours under the table.
“I’m gonna go get another drink,” he says, pushing himself up. You can’t help but notice the glint of his thin gold chain and the way his shirt hugs his bicep. Colin pokes you under the table.
You look back to the group and try to immerse yourself in the conversation, but you are far too distracted. Your eyes keep flicking to Jamie.
Jamie, as he orders a drink. Jamie, as he laughs to the bartender, Jamie as he… kisses a fit blonde girl in a tight skirt?
You look back to your table, eyes fixated on the chips in front of you. Oh. You suppose that settles things then.
You close the tab in your mind and try to muster up some of the old dislike you had for Jamie. It’s not really working, because all you can think about is how he drunkenly waxed poetic about your eyes and told you he had liked them even when they were angry.
This is the first time you’ve seen him since that night, so it’s not like it’s that big of a deal. What were you expecting, for him to soberly declare his love? Maybe Colin had over-hyped the way he said Jamie had asked about you the next day. Maybe he was exaggerating when he said he caught Jamie looking at the picture of you and Colin from uni that Colin had taped to his locker.
Maybe you were looking for something real in someone who was just looking for the next good time.
It doesn’t matter though, because it was just a crush. That’s what you tell yourself as you get up and tell the table you’re going to get some fresh air. “Too many sweaty boys,” you say with a nose wrinkle, and a squeeze to Colin’s hand that means I’m feeling anxious and need cold air.
You’re breezing out the door by the time Jamie returns, hair slightly tousled and frazzled expression. Michael and Colin exchange a look.
Meanwhile, you’re outside freezing just a little bit. The cold air is a welcome shock to your system, so you don’t mind the way you’re shivering. You take a deep breath, envisioning your lungs expanding to the point of popping. Your breath comes out in a whoosh, and you feel the anxiety beginning to dissipate. You stand, back against the bar wall, puffing cold air into the sky for a long time, tears welling in your eyes but refusing to fall.
You’re outside so long, that when the door opens and you hear footsteps coming toward you, you’re sure it’s Colin or Michael coming to make sure you haven’t been murdered.
“You plannin’ on freezing to death?” asks a voice that is neither Colin nor Michael. The owner of said voice leans against the wall next to you, mirroring your position. He’s so close you can feel heat radiating off his body, but you’re not quite touching.
You shake your head. “No, I’m not,” you hear yourself saying, “I just got a little anxious and the cold air is good for me, so… here I am.”
Jamie makes a concerned hm and nothing else. He just stands there next to you, not touching but still too close.
“Why are you out here?” you ask, breaking the silence. “Thought you’d be inside. Looks like you met someone interesting. She might be missing you.”
There’s no malice in your tone. You’re just stating facts as an observer. As a friend, maybe. The only thing that colors your words is just a hint of sadness. You’re sure Jamie won’t register it.
He grimaces and shakes his head. “Ain’t my friend. Some fan who thinks it’s fucking cool to kiss a footballer. Weren’t paying attention, otherwise I could’ve blocked it. I fucking hate it when that happens. It’s like, they don’t even see me as a real person. Just a sexy lad they can do whatever with.”
You chuckle at the way he says “sexy lad.” It reminds you of the way he had told you he had been a “wee sexy baby.”
“That fucking sucks,” you say. “I’m sorry. I didn’t realize, otherwise I wouldn’t have said it like that.” You’re taking deep, calming breaths, still trying to get rid of that anxious feeling.
Jamie just shrugs. He makes no indication that he’s going to continue speaking so you ask, “So, is that why are you out here, then? Is it to get away from her? Because if anyone should have to leave, it’s her. Pretty sure we could talk to someone and get her kicked out.”
You shiver, cold air beginning to seep through your coat. Jamie closes the gap between you, his bicep pressing against yours. You stifle another shiver, this one not from cold.
“Nah,” he replies, “that’s not why I’m here. Wanted to make sure you were alright.”
Oh. That’s weird. “Why didn’t Colin or Michael come?”
Jamie shrugs again. “Colin said some shit about fuckin whatever and Michael said the same fuckin shit, so…” he trails off.
You look up at him. “Jamie. You’re not making any fucking sense. I don’t know if it’s the cortisol flowing through my body or if you’ve had too much to drink, but you have got to be a whole lot clearer.”
That seems to get his attention, and bring him back to the reality that you two are outside, in the fucking cold, and he’s chatting with you as if nothing is wrong.
Jamie puffs out a breath, watching it coil into the air. He opens and closes his mouth a few times, then settles on: “I ain’t drunk.”
You’re still looking at him. He’s right. He’s stone-cold sober.
“I wanted to make sure you were alright. Colin said that you’d probably rather see me than him so… I dunno, I fucking came out here. I’ve been thinking about you ever since the last time we talked.”
Your cheeks flush bright red, and you’re grateful for the night sky. You keep taking your deep breaths.
Jamie continues, “You flirted with me for fucking five seconds, and it’s like- I forgot you hated me. Didn’t care about anything anymore, you just smiled at me fucking one time and I felt like I was floating.” He stares at the sky. “I fucking hate talking about feelings and shit, and you’re basically Colin’s sister, so I figured I didn’t have a chance. But I’ve been fucking head-over-heels since the first time you glared at me.”
You’re pretty sure this is an anxiety hallucination. That’s a thing, right?
Jamie is no longer staring at the sky, but looking at you. He breathes out a laugh. “Sorry. Didn’t mean to make it weird.” He moves to go back inside but you grab his arm.
“Jamie,” you say. The look on his face when you say his name is so hopeful, that you feel your heart shatter and reform almost instantaneously. “Jamie, you- you like me? You came out here because you like me? And that’s why you were drunkenly flirting with me last month?”
“Yeah, yeah it is.”
Your hand is still on his arm, and you’re standing face to face. You’re still breathing heavily, but so is he. You slowly run your hand up his arm and cup his face. He’s staring at you, mere inches apart, as you stand on tiptoe to reach his lips.
He kisses you back with the hunger of a starving man, arms wrapped around your waist the moment your lips make contact. You’re pulling each other closer, forgetting the freezing cold, when you hear an, “Oi, boyo.”
It’s Colin and Michael, walking out from the bar, headed home.
You and Jamie break apart and Colin points to him. “Break her heart, Michael and I will break your fucking legs.”
Jamie grins and nods, and you just roll your eyes. You’re going to have to tell them everything, but right now they’re walking away and it’s fucking cold, so Jamie’s pulling you back to him again to pick up where you left off.

Meroooo you really aren't being fair tho.
Like make it easier dammit. I love the childhood friend trope so much but then the prince sounds adorable as hell... and then the stubborn part of my brain wants to romance the grumpy cat 😒 not gonna even mention captain flirtsalot
It's very hard to choose a first playthrough 😭
Well, isn't it fortunate that IF makes for multiple playthroughs? 💙 Haha!
Alright, to make you forgive me, here's what I'm going to do! Let me add an extra something, so to help you decide who might become your first love.
Riel has been taught how to ballroom dance, and has always found it void of all meaning. A series of steps, a set of rules, enough etiquette to drown in. That is, until the both of you find yourselves alone in the ballroom of the ship. It's quaint compared to the baroque of the royal grounds, but it's perfect. As they guide you and twirl you around, they can't look away from your face, illuminated by the crystals hanging down from the ceiling. They know then, they'll ask you to dance again, and again, and again...
Being with Khael means getting welcomed into their rowdy, mischievous, loyal to the death found family, the crew of the ship. They will interrupt, they will snitch, they will supply you with many, many embarrassing stories regarding their captain. They will also care for you, and make you laugh when you're sad. They will knock some sense into the both of you when you get into a fight. They will be the unstoppable force they know themselves to be. And, if you and Khael ever decide to get married, they will celebrate like this side of the universe has never seen before.
Nat writes all their annotations in a script that no one seems to know anything of, almost like it's theirs and theirs alone. At first, they won't even let you glimpse at it, but once they decide you're it for them, they'll teach you how to read it, and how to write it. Nat is a very patient teacher, and once you've more or less learnt the basics, they won't hesitate to leave you syrupy sweet notes that only you can decipher where they know you'll find them. If anyone else asks, they'll deny everything.
When Aeli was a kid, they were torn between giving your name to their favorite flowers, and not, simply because they couldn't bare to then harvest them, or see them wilt. Part of them was afraid for you, when that happened, like your name would carry over the same fate. But they couldn't help themselves, as that one was your favorite color, that one would look so pretty in your hair, that one had petals as soft as the back of your hand. So they wouldn't say it, but they would think it, greeting the flowers good morning and good night, hoping that at least that much, your name would carry over to you.
Hope that helps 🌷

Charlie Cox: ‘I love being a superhero — I thought that ship had sailed’
Charlie Cox on the return of Daredevil, the joys of sea swimming in Dalkey and his rewarding character-driven work in RTÉ’s Kin
Tumblr media
Kirsty Blake Knox   April 27, 2023 (X)
Charlie Cox is a busy man; he smiles widely from the back of a car as it ferries him from a physical therapy session to the set of Disney’s Daredevil.
“We’ve just kind of started, it’s really great. Pretty intense, hence the physical therapy,” he says.
Cox has returned to play Matt Murdock, the blind lawyer-slash-superhero.
The show started life on Netflix and ran for three seasons before it was cancelled in 2018.This resulted in an online #SaveDaredevil campaign which resulted in 400,000 signatures begging Marvel to bring him back.
It took a little time; a contractual clause prevented any characters from the Marvel-Netflix shows from appearing in any non-Netflix projects for two years after cancellation.
And now Cox is suiting up again in his Spandex costume, running around punching people in the face and fighting for justice. It’s a demanding shoot — the series is 18 episodes long. And he is a fan of doing as many of his stunts as possible.
“I kind of get involved as much as I’m allowed to and is appropriate. Obviously, the stunt team are professionals and there are things they can do that I can’t even get close to,” he says. “I feel like the name of the game is to get as involved as you can… it makes the scenes more realistic.”
Cox took on the role, which had once been played by Ben Affleck in 2015. At the time, landing the role came as a shock.
“I never thought of myself as being appropriate casting for an American superhero. That never really occurred to me,” he says. “And in my 20s, a lot of my friends, and a lot of British actors, had gone and done that already. So when I got to 30 I was pretty confident that ship had sailed. I was very fortunate to get a character that I’ve now been playing for almost 10 years. It’s unbelievable.”
Cox is a father to two young children (seven and three) but they are a little young to fully grasp the role their dad plays in the Marvel Universe.
“I’m not sure they quite understand… One of the books we read him (his three-year-old) is called Superbat. A bat who is a superhero. But that’s his only real understanding. And so he thinks that I’m Superbat,” he laughs.
Cox realised he wanted to be an actor while in school and studied at Bristol Old Vic drama school. His first big break came in 2007 when he starred in Stardust alongside Robert De Niro and Michele Pfeiffer.
He has performed on the West End and Donmar Warehouse, in dramas like Treason and took on the role of Owen Sleater in Martin Scorsese’s Boardwalk Empire. For Irish viewers, we can see Cox on our screens every Sunday night, as Michael Kinsella in gangland drama Kin.
It’s pretty unusual for Marvel Universe actors to appear in a homegrown Irish drama. But Cox’s wife is executive producing the series. When another project he was attached to fell through, he read the scripts and felt compelled to be part of it.
“I’ve been working probably 20-plus years, and there’s a handful of times where I’ve read a script and felt like I’m reading something written by a truly brilliant writer,” he says. “And that quality of scripts never ceased. Sometimes you can get a really good pilot episode. But then as you get deeper into the season, some of the writing starts to disintegrate a little bit, but with Peter (McKenna) that was never the case.”
Obviously, the scale of production is a lot smaller on Kin than other productions, but he says these productions can be just as, if not more, rewarding to work on.
“If you have a limited budget, the way you handle that is you write long character-driven scenes… So weirdly, the lower budget stuff often is more appealing. Because you get to really get deep into the character and the relationships and the dynamics… it’s sort of like theatre. So, from my point of view, sometimes that stuff is more appealing.”
He continues; “I’ve learned I’m not precious about my character’s involvement. I don’t care much if my character does cool stuff … what I care about is, ‘are they moving?’”
Tumblr media
He says this is some of the appeal of playing Michael.
“This life that he’d come from…and now he’s trying to rekindle a relationship with his daughter. [The] vulnerability, and the desire, and the need to fundamentally change his nature. That was really exciting to me.”
Cox perfected his Irish accent by listening to the voice of former Dublin goalkeeper, Shane Supple. He got up to speed with Ireland’s gangland scene by listening to podcasts featuring award winning crime journalist Nicola Tallant.
“I was kind of blissfully ignorant of the whole thing,” he says. “When I actually read the first two scripts, I just thought it was all fiction and then I agreed to do the part and I started doing my research. I was like, ‘oh, shit, this stuff is happening. It’s current and it’s happening right now.’”
Despite the violent nature of the series, he found filming and living in Ireland to be idyllic.
He and his family were based in the seaside village of Dalkey — where Matt Damon was holed up during lockdown. Cox became a sea swimming fanatic while residing there.
“I absolutely loved being there… I had conversations with my wife about moving to Dublin because I loved it so much. It’s not really viable with my job… Season one, we’re in lockdown. We lived in Hanover Quay, which was delightful…
“Season two, we moved to Dalkey. I felt like it was one of the best kept secrets in Europe… I was swimming in Vico every day… I found it to be like a haven. And I would love an opportunity to go back at any stage.”
Tumblr media
Cox is extremely polite and amenable. And modest — despite his success, Cox says he still suffers professional insecurities.
“I never think I’m going to be hired,” he laughs. “I read years ago that Christopher Walken always thinks his job he’s doing is going to be the last time he is hired. I don’t quite have that, but I certainly identify with it. I’ve never felt like ‘Oh, I’m always going to be hired.’”
He says this comes with some advantages, as it makes him more present.
“I’m filming in New York and I’m lucky enough that I’m still able to play a kind of a lead in a TV show,” he says. “You know, the time is ticking on that in a big way. And so I certainly don’t want to wish that away.
“It would be easy to kind of bemoan the amount of hours you have to work, and missing the family, but there’ll come a time where I would kill to be able to be the lead in the TV show. I think the trick is to really enjoy it while it lasts.”
As he makes his way out of his car and towards his makeup chair, I ask if he has any projects outside of Daredevil coming down the tracks.
“I’m going to be doing this until the end of the year. And then I’ll be back on the panic station wondering if I am ever going to work again,” he laughs.

You weren’t sure if you could call Jimin your friend. He was one of the few people you talked to in your graduate program, but he was impossible to pin down. Even meeting up to practice your thesis presentations had been an incredible feat. After he canceled plans so many times you started to wonder if he even wanted to be your friend.
“Run-on sentence.” Jimin reached over your shoulder to point at a spot on your laptop screen. He stood behind you, hunched over your small frame where you sat at the table in one of the university library’s study rooms.
After muttering a breathy “thanks”, you quickly edited your script. You told yourself you shivered from the AC blasting through the university’s vents, but deep down you knew Jimin’s proximity was putting your nerves into overdrive. You were already regretting inviting the hottest guy in your program to help you practice and you hadn’t even gotten to the practicing part yet.
Jimin wasn’t doing you any favors, either. He placed his hands on your shoulders, gently kneading them. The heat of his hands warmed you through the thin material of your t-shirt, coaxing goosebumps to appear down your arms. You leaned into his touch and let out a quiet hum of satisfaction before you could control yourself.
“You’re so tight,” he murmured.
You couldn’t stop your eyes from fluttering closed as you attempted to chase away the dirty thoughts that immediately crept into your mind at his innocent statement. What was wrong with you?
“Yeah… I carry stress in my shoulders,” you said with a controlled exhale. Turning in your seat, you disconnected yourself from Jimin to look at him face-to-face. “I think I should get started now.”
“Probably.” The friendly smile he wore didn’t quite fit the heavy, lidded expression of his eyes. You told yourself not to make anything of it as you walked past him to the front of the room, even when you had to brush against his chest as you got up because he didn’t give you enough space to move.
Jimin sat on top of the table, his legs hanging off the edge. You tried to present using the script, but you found that reading while still trying to make eye contact was too hard. You kept getting thrown off by the way Jimin was swinging his legs.
Shit. You’d completely stopped talking. How many tries had it been? At least two?
“Can I restart?” You rubbed your clammy palms against your shorts and looked over at your laptop sitting on the podium.
“Again? Shouldn’t you just try to power all the way through at least once?” Jimin leaned forward. “How are you going to do this in front of, what, at least a hundred people? When you can’t even do it in front of me?”
His harsh words felt like a slap to the face. “If that was supposed to be a pep talk, I do not respond well to meanness.”
Jimin leaned back on his palms, head cocked to the side as he looked you over. The feeling of being some type of specimen on display burned into your cheeks hotter than it had before; he wasn’t looking at you the way an audience looked at a presenter. “You should take your pants off.”
You nearly choked. “Excuse me?”
“Think about it.” Jimin hopped down from the table. “If you do something to make yourself even more nervous while you practice, the real thing is going to feel even easier.”
Nothing coming out of his mouth made any sense, but that was the thing with Jimin. He was the king of bullshit. He could talk himself into and out of anything he wanted. He circled you like a shark, sharp eyes roaming your rigid body. He paused behind you and you felt the heat of his chest against your back.
“Just trust me,” he whispered in your ear, resting his chin on your shoulder.
You let out a shaky breath as you felt his hands move towards your front. He unbuttoned your shorts and the sound of your zipper coming undone was almost louder than your heartbeat flooding your ears. Jimin pushed your shorts down, his palms gliding over your bare thighs. The only thing hotter than your cheeks was the fire burning between your thighs as you watched Jimin watch you from the table again. At the corner of his mouth his tongue poked out to run along his bottom lip and he quirked his eyebrows at you, gesturing for you to continue.
“Now try it without stopping.”
You were standing in your fucking underwear. Sure, the t-shirt you wore was long enough to cover you, but still.
Maybe it would actually work. Jimin was so good at everything; he had to have good tricks for success, right? Hesitantly, you restarted your presentation, the ceiling suddenly becoming very interesting to look at. Jimin wasn’t entertained.
“No, no, you still haven’t relaxed. I guess you have to take off your shirt now.” He was fucking ridiculous.
“T-This is making me more nervous.”
“Do you want me to do it for you?”
You opened your mouth, but air, rather than any sound, puffed out. Jimin reached out to grab the hem of your t-shirt, pulling you to where he sat on the table so you stood in between his legs. He twisted the fabric between his fingers and gave you the same friendly smile as before.
“Can I tell you a little secret, Y/N?” Jimin cooed. Using his free hand, he hooked his finger into the waistband of your underwear and slowly pulled it away from you until he couldn’t any longer. You winched as the band snapped back to place against your skin, but the damp feeling between your thighs overpowered the sting. “I don’t really feel like watching you stutter through your presentation a hundred times. I want to watch you take off your clothes.”
“Oh,” you gasped stupidly. You were being attacked at both ends; arousal pooled in the pit of your stomach while your heart was clambering out of your chest.
“Can you give me what I want?” His smile fell into a pout and he let go of you.
“Y-yes,” you whispered, your desperation for his approval now extending beyond wanting to impress him with your research. Your fingers trembled as you lifted your t-shirt over your head; you tossed it down with your pants, goosebumps prickling across your skin.
“Good girl,” Jimin said with a sweet smile and you felt like your legs were going to give out. “I hope you locked the door.”
He leaned back on one of his hands; the other found its way into his lap. He gripped his cock through his pants, giving it a squeeze. You followed his fingers path down his erection, the outline growing more prominent as he stroked it. When had he gotten like that? The realization that you were having this effect on him made you shake even more.
“I want you to touch yourself.”
“Standing here?”
“Would you prefer to go into the hallway?”
Your breath got caught in your throat as you slowly stepped out of your underwear, dropping it to the floor. You now stood in front of him in only a black lace bralette. Your hands immediately moved to shield yourself, but Jimin tutted his tongue against the roof of his mouth in disapproval.
“Now, you can’t do a presentation with such a lack of confidence, can you? Stand up straight.”
You opened your mouth to protest, but Jimin shook his head. The stern look he gave you was enough to shut you up without him having to say anything at all. He watched you dip your middle finger into your folds, gathering up your arousal before you lightly pressed your fingertip against your clit. You rubbed it in a slow, tight circle. The humiliation of doing this in front of your classmate should have stopped you from following through, but you were too far gone under his spell.
“Eye contact, Y/N. They’re going to evaluate your eye contact.”
When you looked up you were met with those dark, lidded eyes once again. Holding his gaze only made your pussy throb more, and you found yourself quickening the pace until you moved down to slide a finger inside yourself.
“Good girl.”
Your breathing came out hard and deep, mouth hanging open as your thigh muscles began to clench. In that moment, you realized you’d never had an orgasm standing up, and you were pretty sure you were going to fall over as your abdomen twisted with pleasure.
“What’s scarier? Standing in front of a hundred people to give a presentation or standing in front of one person to finger yourself?”
“They’re… they’re both,” you took a shaky breath, “they’re both scary.”
With a roll of his eyes, Jimin let go of himself and beckoned to you. “Come here.”
Your legs felt wobbly as you hesitantly stepped forward. Jimin hooked his finger underneath the band of your bralette in between your cleavage and used it to drag you forward so you stood between his legs once more. You tried not to look down at his lap or touch him, too nervous to actually acknowledge what was happening.
“As smart as you are, you’re a slow learner, aren’t you?”
You winced at his words. “I already told you, I-” Jimin grabbed both your wrists and rested your hands on his shoulders. Then he brought his hand down to cup your pussy, wiggling and pressing his thumb against your clit with enough pressure that your body jolted at the unexpected stimulation. “Jimin,” you gasped, gripping onto his shoulders as he rubbed you with even more pressure.
With his free hand he took a hard grip of your chin and forced you to look into his eyes. “Do you want me to stop?”
You shook your head too fast, more embarrassment washing over your body, only for Jimin’s finger plunging inside of you to distract you once again. The fact that he so easily slid inside of you made that sweet smile bloom across his face, though his lips morphed into a sharp smirk that narrowed his eyes.
“Use your words,” he commanded, his finger curling and searching for the spot to make you shatter in his hand. Before you could speak, he’d found what he was looking for, and a loud moan took the place of whatever words you wanted to say. You had to lean against the edge of the table to hold yourself up the faster Jimin pumped into you.
“N-no. I don’t w-want you to stop.”
“Of course not.”
The arrogant chuckle that followed made you dig your nails into his shirt. You couldn’t even be mad about it; at this point, you were barely making one coherent thought in your head. He focused his movements on hitting that sweet spot again and again until you were a shaking, moaning mess between his legs. You’d completely forgotten about whatever lesson he was trying to teach you, if that’s what he was doing at all. Instead you spent your energy on not biting your tongue off as you felt your climax build inside you, the pressure of pleasure stacking on top of you and weighing you down so deeply you felt you were going to catch fire.
“Jimin,” you whimpered. He’d let your chin go by now and you found yourself leaneding your forehead against his collarbone as he rocked you into him. Feeling you clench around him, Jimin slipped another finger inside of you. The stretch sent hot ripples down your legs.
“Are you going to cum for me like a good girl?” he murmured in your ear.
He adjusted how he sat and inadvertently pressed his now fully hard cock against your thigh. You were already tilting on the edge, and his question and the feel of his warmth against you was enough to completely tip you over. It was searing, white hot, almost painful, the way your entire body locked up on you. You could barely breathe as he guided you through your explosion of pleasure, only removing his hand from you once you’d started to squirm in his embrace.
“See, that wasn’t too bad, was it?” Jimin’s voice lured your hazy gaze up to look at him, stars still spotting your vision. You still weren’t sure you’d be able to handle giving your thesis presentation, especially since Jimin would be there. You might have actually made things worse for yourself.
“I think I need to sit down,” you confessed, coaxing another laugh from Jimin. He hopped down from the table and held your hand to steady you as you sat down. While you recovered yourself, he scooped up your clothing. Squatting down, he gently lifted your leg with a grip on your calf, easing you into your underwear and helping you slide it up your thighs. Then he did the same with your shorts, and eventually pulled your t-shirt on, as well. You blinked repeatedly as you watched him help you into your clothes, allowing him to take control of your limbs. Once his work was done, he stood up. That was when you noticed the bulge still prominent in his sweatpants, and his eyes followed your gaze to his crotch.
“Y’know, we still haven’t gone over my presentation yet,” Jimin mused, tapping his chin in mock thought. “I’m feeling pretty nervous, actually. I wonder what we could do to help me with that?” You bit your lip as Jimin reached behind his head to pull his t-shirt off, tossing it where your clothes had been. “Maybe this is a good start?”
And who were you to deny him the opportunity to practice, too?

november: imi reads tony fics
a bunch of tony x steve, some tony x stephen, and a few tony x bruce. favorites are marked with ✌
STONY
Of things lost in time by erde (orphan_account) | Words:16,082 | The Time Stone beckons Steve with the promise of home. He ends up in Clint's farm, reliving the same day again and again
✌ Drawn to You by jellybeanforest | Words:15,988 | In a world where what one writes on one’s own skin appears on their soulmate’s body in exactly the same place until it’s washed off or fades, no one has ever responded to Twenty-five years later, Tony Stark is born with a single phrase on his left forearm written in messy old-fashioned script. And as he grows up, the words never change:
Safe Haven by gottalovev, zappedbysnow | words: 20,686 | It's been three months since the Battle of New York. Four since Steve woke up in the future. Everything is still too fast, too bright, too glib. And then, as if it wasn't enough, Steve is dragged through a portal into an alternate universe. Other Him is happy, though, and that feels like hope.
✌ to find a secret (behind the ruins) by dapperyklutz | Words:19,555 | As is the case in Tony’s life, it starts with an accident.“This… is not the coffee pot,” he says dumbly. “Astute observation as always, sir,” JARVIS replies dryly, though there’s no mistaking the hint of astonishment in his voice. Tony blinks once more before he gapes at the hammer in his hand. Specifically, he’s holding Thor’s hammer. He has Mjölnir in his hand. Like, what even.
✌ You Can Never Get Enough (Enough Of This Stuff) by Carsonian | Words:3,554 | (A.K.A. Steve gets drunk off Asgardian liquor and broadcasts his feelings towards Tony in the most ridiculous manner. This is incredibly confusing for Tony.)
No Return, No Return by Carsonian | Words:18,231 | In many ways, Tony Stark has spent his whole life waiting to meet something real enough to test himself against. He hadn't planned on it being Steve Rogers. (A re-imagining of Steve and Tony pre-/post-Avengers (2012) with a spotlight on their relationship.)
✌ Since We've Been Together by Carsonian | Words:1,788 | "Marry me." On his life, he couldn't tell how the words came out. Whether they were loving or demanding or whispered. He only knew that once they left his lips, the following breath came as easy as his first one right after receiving the serum. (Steve proposes to Tony, right after a battle.)
The Five Stages of a Time Loop by AirlocksandAviaries | Words:40,517 | Tony Stark looks Thanos in the eye. He raises his gauntlet in defiance and states his iconic phrase. He snaps, expecting death. But death doesn't come. Instead, he's back in his basement, completed time travel model in front of him. He builds the time machine. He snaps again. Again, and again, and again. Tony can't for the life of him seem to change the outcome of this story. What does change, though, is his feelings around it.

Want to be my something new for the night?” “If you think you can keep up with me.” “Cocky. I like that in a man.” “Really? The version I heard is that you like it in you.” Tony arched a brow. “Planning to join that list?” Stephen gave him a long, considering look before sliding a hand over Tony’s free one. “Mister Stark . . . you’re going to beg me to join it."

Hear me out:
All solo leveling characters as singers and songwriters
What genre would everyone be? Would there be bands and groups? Would they play an instrument or just sing?
Oh this is fun! @manawari and @stormdragon23 already have so much content about the boyband SL arise!
As for my takes, they are a bit shifted here and there but I'll do my best to make it fun!
Jinwoo: Freelance Singer
A freelance singer (who plays bass) that had a lot of trouble getting into the spotlight depsite working his ass off everyday to the point where he would have a sore throat and his fingers would go numb, one day caught the attention of Ashborn and his manager Kandiru. He made the guy go extremly viral and, a few days after meeting him again as a waiter (a side job that Jinwoo had bc singing wouldnt pay the bills) he asked if he wanted some help to get himself into the spotlight and presented him to a lesser known, but insanely rich, songwriter: Yoo Jinho. Kandiru didnt understand why Ashborn liked the boy, but after hearing some original music that Jinwoo and Jinho made, it all began to make sense. I think his genre would be a range of Indie rock, Pop rock, R&B soul and Hip Hop Rap. I think his low voice would be good for those kinds of genres, kinda like a mix of Ado or NF.
Haein: Anonymous K pop Artist
Her voice could fill quite a lot roles within the music industry so she never had a genre that defined her. With her connections during her time as sports icon, she managed to make a name for herself as "that annonymous Kpop artist". Her dances always tended to go viral despite no one knowing how she looks like (she puts on a mask bc she likes her privacy and even if she was a sport star no one areally makes the link connections since she had ended that career a long time ago to pursue her own music dreams) and some of her songs have been on the best anime seasons so far. Her hidding her face (and also her body by wearing extravagant metal cosplays) was also something unusual in the Kpop industry famous for showing one's appearacne to earn more fans. And though many placed rumors that she was ugly, it didnt stop people from liking her songs at all.
Juhee: Country Girl
She is not that well known but her songs do go popular with a lot of elderly people nowadays, especially since her folklore and country music brings a sense of familiarity and warmth that not many songs in the manistream tend to have nowadays. She writes her own scripts and was the one to teach Jinwoo about music and bass when she was starting out. They still keep in contact afterwards even as Jinwoo keeps getting more and more busy with all the tours he has to make. Cottage core lesbians always place her songs on their playlists.
Jongin and Yoonho: Musical Rivals
Two men who grew up in very different livelyhoods but had a fascination with broadway musicals all the way until university. Yoonho likes the more traditional approach and is usually more known through his theater and opera acts while Jongin's fame grew by doing musical covers on Youtube and voicing characters on shows that often included singing (think of it like Hazbin hotel, disney movies, pich perfect, glee). They both respect each other but absolutely trie to throw as much shade and salt towards each other on twitter as possible.
The fans dont know degration and isnults is what each other are into, which is how more often than not they end up in fandom wars as well.
Somewhere out there, a producer is thinking whenevr or not her should make a live action movie and have them both kiss at the end.
Thomas Andre: Country Rock
This man own whatever his weird but amazing genre it is. Man does not know the limits of what decency is. Hes gotten canceled so many times, is a troll with his songs, once made a song with a bunny suit on knowing no one could talk shit about it or else they would get folded like a tortilla. His career as a singer over rides the criminal and boxer careers he had when he was young. He makes like, two songs per year, goes into hideout, and then comes back with two banger songs before going back into hideout again. The drums are his thing, which Laura tends to buy a lot of since he keeps breaking them a lot of the times due to his excitement.
He also wrote some gospel music for his mom.
No one knows this but he has fallen in love with opera.
Esil Radiru: Universal Idol
No one knows how this girl came to be but her rock and electronic music always light up bars and discos around the world, she has a way with her music and has managed to become so popular in such a short ammount of time that many have thought she might have made a deal with the devil himself. The reality is that she just has really good marketing and her parents are rich.
Liu Zhigang: China's Most Famous Actor and Singer
From a young age he's wanted to become a singer and put all of his effort into being one. He cares a lot about his looks, especially his hair, most of the fanbase adores him for being so unique in that sense as well. His extroverted attitude, his unapologetic way of talking and singing in as many donhuas as possible is what draws so many fangirls to him.

i’m trying to write a s15 fix it fic and i’m kinda stuck on what the ending for heaven should be. along with other smaller details i have figured out, i know jack’s not gonna be god, and neither will amara, but that means heaven can’t keep functioning as it has been, smth needs to change. i do have a few ideas, but i’m interested in what someone like you, who has a much more comprehensive knowledge of spn than i do, thinks. like how you wish the ending happened (other than dean living ofc), how you wish they handled the cosmic consequences of taking out chuck?
and ofc i won’t like steal your ideas! i’m just looking for inspiration and another perspective in order to flesh out my basic ideas
Well... to be honest, when I read fix it fics I often skip the world building aspects surrounding "new heaven structure". Honestly I'm more the kind of person to feel that part of the fun of fic is not having to do complicated world building and getting right into the character-oriented portions of the story. 😂
As far as my own wishes: I am a HUGE proponent of an open ending for Supernatural. Because Supernatural is about a battle between the concepts of Free Will and Destiny, and the final season, in particular, is about an evil author/god writing the characters lives, I feel the only narratively satisfying conclusion is one where even the irl author sets the characters free from their vision (after a certain point—obviously we want to have our fun and set the characters up for success). This is a HUGE issue with the actual series finale in my mind—that it attempts to write out the entirety of the characters lives even into eternity, entombing them in the author's vision with absolutely nothing left to the imagination when this show was MADE for a "ride off into the sunset" style ending because it's about free will. 15.20 simply was not that—it was far FAR too intrusive.
I mean to be totally honest because of its negative narrative significance, I kind of think heaven should simply implode. I think it would be very cathartic for everyone involved. The Winchester's provided (imo) an excellent landing pad for a fully canon-compliant fix-it fic where Dean once again tears apart the script. And yes—to me heaven is still someone else's script in 15.20, whether that was the authorial intent or not. Even if one isn't "Chuck won" truthing, one still has the line, "Cas helped" in 15.20—meaning that at the very least, Cas and Jack are trying to write paradise. They are trying to write The Future. (I discuss my criticisms of that here). This is also why the summary for my own WIP fix-it... looks like this:
Castiel abruptly drops the cassettes onto the kitchen table in a clatter, barely avoiding Mary’s morning coffee. “I need help understanding your son.”  Much to Castiel’s consternation, Dean… isn’t happy with the heaven Cas and Jack have designed and built for him. If that wasn’t clear enough from his preference for universe-hopping to alternate worlds over spending time in the heaven literally designed to be his personal peaceful paradise, or his in turns defiant and despondent attitude when grounded (read: when he hasn’t quite figured out how to chew through the plastic of his “cage” yet again)… it would be impossible for Cas to miss the fact that Dean will barely speak to him. Instead, he afflicts Castiel with one-track cassette tapes.
On a symbolic level, to me, heaven in SPN represents false paradise. It represents Free Will losing to Destiny. It’s a hopeless, helpless, ultimate: “No matter what you do, you will always end up here”. Even if you succeed at defying The Man in life, you will ultimately be forced back into a heaven where someone else’s vision for your life plays out for the rest of eternity, sold as "paradise". You will always end up back in The Beautiful Room. The afterlife doesn't have to be conceptualized that way, but I think the "new" heaven in 15.20 still heavily misses the mark for me in this regard, especially given the surrounding context.
All of that said, in a more general sense, I think what you do with heaven in a fix-it fic really depends heavily on what relational/emotional themes you're exploring in the fic. For example, say I want to write a fic where Dean reflects on his life being full of responsibilities that were too big and how this deeply warped his sense of self-worth. Say though that I largely explore Dean's feelings and reflections on this through Jack, in the present, cracking under the pressure of being expected to be God. A narratively satisfying ending to that fix-it might intentionally leave the question of what exactly becomes of heaven an open question, because the catharsis in the end is that it isn't Jack's (or anyone else in TFW's) responsibility to figure that out. To have Jack say "I'm trying so hard to make everyone happy everyone wants me to make paradise and I don't know how and I'm drowning", and for Dean to say "You don't have to make paradise. You don't have to do any of this. It isn't your job." Could be a very emotionally poignant conclusion to a fic that focuses on that theme.
I wonder if taking even a further step back would also help? By which I mean: the concept of a heaven as a whole, or hell, or purgatory... they're all assumedly of Chuck's design, and while that doesn't make having four afterlife locations (including The Empty) inherently bad, it also doesn't make make for inherently good design either—practically or ethically. The angels were having trouble keeping the lights on upstairs as their numbers dwindled, Purgatory is an absolute mess (think about where Garth and Bess and their kids will end up...) The only place possibly doing okay in the end is Hell, under Rowena's rule. Death had lots of concerns about balance between the various afterlife areas and I actually think it would be hilarious to give Death... 4.0? a heart attack by just being like "Well... what if we just got rid of some of these places? What if we were trying to stay upright and balance on a seesaw instead of on a ball that can turn in any direction? Do we really need a separate afterlife for monsters? Can heaven and hell just both be in the same place and Rowena and a few other people run it?" Though the need for a new Death could also mean... a new one comes in with a new idea about how to structure the afterlife, but then you also have to ask yourself how intricately you want to detail any of this. If your primary goal is to build the most comprehensive possible fix-it fic that addresses any conceivable question a reader might have about the new reason of the world, then you might finely detail the new concept of the afterlife. On the other hand, if you're more interested in exploring an emotional theme, it might make sense to have whatever happens or doesn't happen with heaven symbolize or relate to an emotional/relational theme within in your story.
Idk that was very rambly sorry I hope it helps a little with brainstorming!

This is potentially a very loaded question so feel free to not answer if you don't feel like it, but how do you as a woman feel about the handling of female characters in Digimon (anime of course, but also games, manga and even the Digimon themselves)? I've seen takes of all kinds from women over the years so I'm curious how you feel. But again, no pressure to answer if you feel uncomfortable with the subject or too daunted by all the material on the table.
Oh man, I don't mind talking about the subject in itself, but what makes it hard for me is just that the Digimon franchise just has so many things at once with so many different writers and different writing philosophies that I can't really treat the entire thing like a monolith. Especially when you have things running the spectrum from Cyber Sleuth (where female characters arguably drive the narrative far more than the male characters) to Next (which has gotten me angrily ranting about the absolutely awful way it treats its girls, a rant which I would prefer to not subject my followers to).
So before I go ahead, I do want to make sure anyone reading this understands that I'm just talking about my own personal experience and feelings regarding the situation, and I'm very sure that other people will feel differently. I definitely don't feel qualified to comment on what's the ideal way to write female charaters in media or whatever (as if there's even one right answer to that!); I can only truly comment on myself and my own stances on it. (And of course, the OP graciously asked specifically about that, but I just want to make sure nobody reading this post misunderstands!)
Well, I will say that if there's one thing that does seem to be consistent (and I say consistent, because Next absolutely violates this one and Frontier does kind of dangerously toe the line), it's that I haven't really seen Digimon fall victim to the problem of what I call making its female characters the Designated Girl Characters™. Explaining what that is is kind of tricky, but a lot of shounen series will have this very strong "consciousness" of its female characters like they're there to fill a quota, and thus treat them in a way that's kind of alienating. Or in other words, "they section off this character very weirdly in a way they would never do for the male characters." (Note that while Ruki's character arc is made with strong consciousness of her being a girl, the whole point is about condemning the idea she should be treated like some novelty just because she's a girl, so I don't count it as this.)
It was really refreshing to see a 1999 anime portray the girls as mingling with the boys like it was no big deal, and I do wonder if Adventure setting this precedent is a big reason later series have followed in this regard. Adventure through Frontier were made with heavy female creator influence, something that the fandom really tends to downplay (especially because a lot of people suspiciously avoid acknowledging their importance, like how everyone will talk about Hosoda but nobody will talk about the fact Yoshida Reiko wrote the scripts for everything he did, or how people virtually ignored Seki's existence compared to Kakudou until very recently). I think a lot of that shows in its writing; of course, that's not to say there aren't things that really could have used improvement (I think Izumi's treatment in Frontier is the one pretty much everyone universally agrees really left much to be desired, and Tomita even outright admitted he's not very good at writing girls, although that frankly kind of surprises me given how much of his other work has involved writing girls really well), but at the very least it does show a bit more conscientiousness about its female characters than you would see in other shows where female creators were either nonexistent or clearly had no influence in the staff room.
On the flip side, there's also things that were more tasteful in execution than may have even been intended; Sora's character arc isn't that much about her femininity in practice, and Juri does come off as better than your average damsel in distress character, but that doesn't change the fact that the nuance is still there (and that in the latter case a certain writer has outright indulged in that), so all I can do is just be grateful that it didn't get worse.
I guess in the end, my stance is "give or take". I like a lot of other kids' shows (including shounen) that have been better or worse than Digimon's average level, and Digimon itself is so varied that I think it just kind of mingles in there. There are things I like, things I don't like, but at the very least there haven't been too many things that crossed my personal boundary of "absolutely not" (there are, there just aren't many). I think Adventure and 02 in particular are often accused of being more malicious towards its female characters and "screwing them over" than they were intended to be, since a lot of it seems to be a combination of wanting to portray its characters a little too realistically and simply just accidental bad circumstances of how it presented (the fact Hikari's two most famous episodes are by two non-regulars on the series who seemed to be huge fans of portraying her with a brother complex really did not help here), and things like "the same things that feel personally relatable to me are also things that read badly to others, so I understand why people don't like it but I also feel kind of weird when they imply that this kind of concept is inherently Bad" (a lot of things related to Sora and Miyako fall into this category for me). And I mean, part of the reason Miyako became my central character back when I wrote fanfic more often was that I just found her to be an incredibly complex character for the kind you'd usually see in shounen works; I honestly don't know of many other things that would portray someone like her sympathetically instead of cramming her into a "hysterical woman" trope box.
There's also the fact that there's a lot more adult-oriented Digimon media coming up nowadays, so there's that awkward situation where "female character representation" starts having a blurred boundary with "waifu character". Which is not to say that I mind the idea of male fans also liking the female characters I like, but more so that when you get into this territory, I start getting conscious about whether the female characters are more obviously being written in a way to "please the male fans and make them into fanservice material" than it respects them as characters. And I mean, I say it's a blurred boundary for good reason; the aforementioned Cyber Sleuth characters do kind of have that (especially in their character designs), but they are actually written as good characters with agency, whereas you have things like the Adventure girls in tri. who are ostensibly written to follow up on their Adventure character arcs but came off to me as being uncomfortably shoved into the Waifu Character Fanservice troping boxes, especially Mimi and Hikari. (Hooters outfit Mimi and brother complex Hikari are among the few things that I would say have crossed a serious line with me.) So again...give or take.
I will say that the American English dub had a somewhat more misogynistic nuance in the way it treated Mimi, Miyako, and Hikari (it had a lot more condescending tone in the way it portrayed Mimi's airheadedness/materialism and Yolei's penchant for fangirling while also expecting Kari to just put up with Davis harassing her, and it exacerbated the already-kind-of-uncomfortable feelings I had about the unsympathetic way Sora is portrayed in Our War Game!), but it's not to the extent I felt it derailed the entire narrative.
As for the Digimon themselves, the feminine Digimon design sexualization didn't bother me much when I was younger (I remember I really wasn't bothered by Angewomon's design at all), but it does bother me a little more now, especially since you have more designs like Venusmon these days (really? really?). But then there are also really good designs like LovelyAngemon and Mastemon that are just plain cool! And then even designs aside, there's a difference in the way each work portrays them; for instance, you can tell certain anime had more fun with the chest jiggles on the same Digimon that other series were not weird about at all. Maybe the fact Adventure and 02 weren't really weird about Angewomon's design was exactly why I didn't notice it very much back then?
Well, that got long and very rambling, but I hope that answered your question to some extent!

So here’s the thing: I’m not sure if Lisa Ambjörn and the YR Powers That Be intended for us as viewers to understand and interrogate August from a safe position of moral certainty about his ultimate fate.
Of course, authorial intent only matters so much, and the author can’t tell you how to engage with their story. This we know from many years of being in fandom and doing whatever we please with canon.
That said, when analyzing the show, I can’t ignore the choices that Lisa et al made when constructing the Young Royals world, and how that plays out in everything from the craft elements involved in writing the scripts to the camera angles to the set design. The YR creative team has done everything they can to present a universe with a complex moral framework, where characters are nuanced and influenced by the systems they live in, where some characters may do more harm than others but everyone is capable of both good deeds and bad ones. Young Royals is constructed very differently than something like Disney’s Snow White or Sleeping Beauty, and deliberately so. It is meant to make us ask larger questions about justice and morality.
I think August is meant to be uncomfortable for us, in a way where we can’t just easily divide into binary teams of “Lock August in a dungeon for a thousand years and never mention him again” and “Malte is pretty so I guess August isn’t that bad and should get away with everything.” (Does the latter team exist? I have heard of such things existing in an uncharted-by-me corner of the internet, but I have never encountered them with my own eyes.)
I think August is meant to make us ask complicated questions. Questions like:
If someone has harmed other people, do they still deserve to heal from their own trauma once separated from those they harmed? If so, who is responsible for that healing? Is it the state? Someone else?
To what extent does the age of the perpetrator of a crime impact the legal process around that crime? (Sweden and my own country have different answers to that question. It’s likely that neither answer is perfect.)
What makes meaningful consequences for someone who has committed harm? Who gets to decide what those consequences are?
How do we reconcile the positives a person has brought to our life with the negative things a person has done? How do we sit in that place of emotional dissonance? A question for Sara, and for anyone else with a loved one who has done harmful or abusive things.
To what extent is it worth interrogating the widespread culture of voyeurism that enabled the spread of the video after August released it? (This is not to draw a false moral equivalence between releasing the video and watching the video, because those things aren’t morally equivalent. But I do think the show is asking is to think about this culture of voyeurism and the ways in which we are complicit. Think about the internet comments we see flashing on the screen after the video is released, and the fact that we get the curtains closing so decisively in 2.5. August is an engaging character in part because he plays upon our own voyeurism as viewers—in season 1 he’s constantly leading Wille into new secret layers of the Hillerska world, and we follow Wille into that, wanting to know more.)
Do we trust a legal system that would take down August, knowing those in that legal system could use the same tools to prosecute Simon and Wilhelm?
To what extent can a person’s actions also be an indictment of the system? Even if August faces consequences for his actions, can we really rest easy knowing the systems that created his worst traits are continuing to operate as usual?
And the thing about asking these questions is that I think they are more likely to yield additional questions than grant us simple answers. That can be a valuable thing, and fiction that encourages us to ask these questions is worth engaging with. I also think that you can condemn August’s actions and advocate for him facing consequences while still asking yourself these questions and not always coming to a place where everything feels resolved. August is written that way on purpose. He is meant to make us feel conflicting emotions.
(And if you don’t feel conflict and have a set opinion of him, that’s good and valid too. See what I said before about the author’s intentions only going so far. We all engage with characters in the way that’s right for us.)
I also want to make it clear that engaging in these questions around a work of fiction and a fictional character does not mean that we are condoning revenge porn and blackmail in real life and letting perpetrators of such get away with it. In real life, these things should be condemned and prosecuted. And in real life, sometimes the people who do these things are people close to us or in our general circle. Sometimes people end up thinking through these questions anyway as a result of just being a human on this earth.
Anyway, I’m hitting a crucial part of August’s arc right now in the fic I’m writing, and I find myself bumping up against these questions constantly. It’s an emotionally meaningful part of the process for me, being able to sit in that and write about it and dramatize it. And I want to offer discussion space for those in fandom who want to have that conversation—I feel like I’m always creating space for people to have that conversation in smaller group settings, but it can be harder to have a conversation like that on my public dash, because of the way discussion plays out on tumblr.
I also reserve the right to change my mind after season 3 drops. Developments could happen there that make me feel differently, but for now I just wanted to state my piece.
As much as we long for the sword of justice to cut cleanly, it almost never does. Sometimes it’s good to have stories that wrestle with that. I’m really glad that YR does.

It will forever irk me how some people blame Laena for Daemon’s “unhappiness” in Pentos. Let’s be for real here, it was COMPLETELY his fault why they were still in Pentos. I doubt Laena would have denied Daemon the idea of returning to Westeros; she was the one who wanted to go back to driftmark in the first place. Any unhappiness Daemon had was his own fault and no one but him can be blamed (maybe viserys too but that’s another thing). Everyone who is like “poor baby, he was just longing for Rhaenyra…” blah, blah, blah - just makes me sooo heated!! Laena was right there, they need to stop acting as if she was just this means to an end. I know she’s a fictional character but it still angers me to see how minimalized she is by the fandom (especially when they race-bent her and changed the important relationships in her life - that’s one of the reasons why I say that the book is the only canon canon universe, not the show). The racism this fandom has is so crystal clear, but then everyone is all “stop making it about race”, like that’s exactly what you are doing 😭 why can’t I be upset about it?? I doubt anyone would act the way they do if Laena was white and it hurts to even admit that!
No one should sympathize with daemon in ep6, he was being a shitty person and incredibly selfish, in my opinion. (I know you love him and I’m sorry to bash him, but I know you also see his faults unlike a lot of other Daemon stans, so I hope you can understand me on this). Laena was more patient and forgiving than she should have been, I would’ve liked her to call him out instead of whatever bullshit the writers decided on. Laena was not a shy or docile person, she was brave and fierce, that’s literally canon, and the writers shouldn’t have excluded that.
And don’t even get me started on how icky this deleted script makes me feel: https://www.tumblr.com/darksvster/744315340102762496/excerpts-from-the-house-of-the-dragon . “I loved him well.” But then when Rhaenyra asks Daemon if he loved Laena, THE NIGHT OF HER FUNERAL, he says “we were happy enough.” Shut the fuck up, Daemon! 🙄
I don’t personally think Laena and Daemon’s entire marriage (in the show) was an unhappy one, but it was in such poor taste that they made their scenes the way they did in show ‘canon.’ Laena did not deserve to be shown as unhappy, certainly not right before she died. I’ll never stop saying that she deserved better because she really really did. And that’s another reason why I’m writing my fix-it fanfic for her. I just want her to be happy in the end 🫠
Thank you for reading this incredibly messy rant. I hope you don’t hate me for this lmao.
That’s nothing, but cope cause these walking napkins once again forgot about chokegate.
By their own logic Daemon must have been on the verge of jumping off a cliff with Rhaenyra cause no matter how miserable he was with Laena he never laid a hand on her or abandoned her when she was giving birth to their children🙃
He’s literally always 0.2 seconds from sending Missy Anne to join Gollum. If he truly was longing for her like that he wouldn’t even think of laying a hand on her.
Lol, jokes aside, no way he was completely miserable with Laena and she definitely didn’t make him miserable. If anything she calmed his psycho ass down. The man wasn’t miserable because of her(he was just missing the walking corpse he called a brother). That was the most stable time in his life. Which isn’t saying much, but it is what is even if they don’t want to admit that.
You know what he would’ve done if he was actually miserable, wanted Missy Anne, or wanted out of his marriage? He would’ve broken out the good old divorce rock🪨
We are talking about a man who does what he wants with no impunity. He has no qualms about killing family or abusing/murdering his wives.
He could’ve easily killed Laena(especially while she was in labor), but he didn’t do that. He wanted to be with Laena(which is why he married her even though Miss Maegor was begging him to choose her back in episode 5). For all intents and purposes he was content with the means to an end.
Yeah they are all fictional, but these are people are blending real life with fiction cause it’s clear that the main reason why they keep saying this crap is because Laena was made Blackish. These Karen’s refuse to relate to Black(ish) woman on any level so they now are hyping up their titanic ship because Missy Anne is white and blonde.
Real talk, I don’t even think most of them actually care about Missy Anne as a character. She’s just a mascot cause they want to ride Daemon’s dick(no judgements cause Miss Maegor is lame, and Daemon is hot, but they need to be honest about it. I’d never ship something where my fave is being beaten upside her head by her man).
Now Daemon and Laena’s marriage was far far far from perfect in the show. He was not the best husband to her. She definitely deserved better than what he gave her, but they really are trying it when he keeps going Ike Turner on their self insert.
Yes, Laena dies and she’s a minor character, but she does have an impact on the story and on Daemon’s arc. They won’t admit that though because they actively trying to limit her impact.
(See how they keep trying to associate her girls with Daemon as Miss Maegor’s daughters cause the queen of flops gave birth to a lizard instead of a daughter “who looks like” Daemon to replace the half-breeds).
And even though they took away her fire in the show and made her into some poor helpless unloved woman(aka a stereotype), she still made an impact because if she was truly a bump in the road they would’ve stopped talking about her as soon as she offed herself.
The bar is in hell yes, but they need to recognize where they stand.
Honestly this whole discourse is once again pathetic and riddled with Casper the unfriendly ghost sociopaths being butthurt that their ship is pathetic.
They have to use headcanons to prop it up cause the books make it clear Laena was Daemon’s most beloved wife and Valyrian Karen was abandoned for Nettles(let’s not get into that cause she sends the methheads into a rage) while the show has him beating their self insert black and blue.
No one is trying to make this about race, but when you have people calling fictional characters the n-word, comparing them to monkeys, saying it’s okay to cut a Black character because there are too many Black people on the show, saying that it’s a shame Daemon doesn’t have any daughters he can relate to cause the ones he has aren’t white, and saying that it’s a determintal character trait to have Daemon sleep with Black women, well how else are we supposed to view it?
This doesn’t even cover half the demented crap they’ve said and we aren’t even getting into how they start gang stalking you, and trying to gaslight you into believing their lies, when you call them out on the bullshit.
Someone who isn’t racist would say those things. You can dislike a character or characters, but when you base your hate on racism, well congratulations! You’re a racist!
It’s so frustrating dealing with this fandom because any time you point out the obvious misogynoir you become the bad guy, the hater, the bitch, whatever. People only like you when you don’t rock the boat(aka don’t say anything about this because you’re bringing down the vibes), but how are you supposed to turn the other cheek when you see that?
The moment Laena became Black she became worthless to this fandom and the showrunners, to the point where they are only comfortable with her fitting into a stereotype.
Well now we are both ranting so I think we are even 🤣 I do love Daemon, but I love to drag him when he does wrong(I love my girls more than him so he’s in the doghouse. Book!Daemon would be ashamed of show!Daemon). Thank God fanfiction exists(and the books). Can’t wait to read yours. I’ll be updating mines this weekend)🙌🏽

My Main DRs (ACTIVE)
I was debating posting this for a while, but, I think it will help if I write it down in multiple places.
So I should start off by saying that my current understanding fallows The LOA explanation of shifting. I have deep dived in to many theories but this is my favorite.
Of course I admit that I don't have all the answers, and if you believe something else that is totally cool. DO what works for YOU! It's your reality. I am not here to judge anyone or tell you how to shift. The only thing I plan on doing here is logging my adventures.
To that effect, I believe in quantum immortality, that the 3d is the least real physical plane, and that I AM everything in my multiverse. (Which honestly equates to a "God Complex" , so no hard feelings if you don't want to interact with me. I'd appreciate you blocking me over sending nasty anons though. TY in advance.)
-Vivi
My Main DR is actually an amalgamation of DRs.
I call my Multiverse "Kiss Me Again".
It all started with a love for both various fictional characters, and wanting the emotional commitment of monogamy. Then I thought: Well what if I can love the same soul in every DR I go to?
We could spend eternity together like this.
But I didn't want them to have the memories of being with them previously when we meet in the DR. I adore the idea of getting to fall in love over and over again.
That way I can set up any number of my favorite tropes, backgrounds, settings, and appearances in the future and still have it be the same person. In the infinity of the wider universe there is no reason this could not be possible if I assume it is plausible.
IDK if I want them to remember all of there memories after I kiss them, or after I tell them I'm a shifter, or even at all. What I do know is that in my WRs they will have the collective memories of us together.
I plan of exploring this concept for the foreseeable future. So there will be many more DRs added to this list later. For now, there are only two.
My MV Lifetime starts off by mashing my CRDR "Masked Man" and my ACOTAR DR "ACO Storms and Sanctuary".
Masked Man This DR is based off my OR. In fact, I'm already living it. That's right. You heard me. I am IN my first DR right now. This is my CRDR. The Physical Reality (3D) around me has already started to reflect my script, so I know everything is going just as planned. By LOA, I am here. I am who my consciousness was born as and will remain that person until my natural passing.
In A Court of Storms and Sanctuary I am Azriel's mate and one of Eris' spies. My name is Lakely there, and I'm a storm conjuror that can talk to a select group of animals. The first "Shift" into this DR will be far more obvious to pick up on, thankfully. I'll be there for a long while before reaching my first milestone with Azriel in our slow burn. When I do eventually get there I'll shift back here for a while.
As far my my scripted timeline of events go, here is a "short" list of highlights:
- In April I will being manifesting by LOA and Reya's Re-programing method that I have shifted completely into my Masked Man DR. - I'll go through the next few months exactly as I would before I discovered shifting. I overnight at the airport, walk my dog and cat in the morning once I'm home. Take my Zoloft, and go to bed ready to do it all again the next day. --EDIT: I quit my toxic job. May get a part time job in the mean time and start visiting the paint shop more. - I have planes to move after that and receive my lasting love into my life. - At some point during the above I'll make my first shift to meet Azriel. I don't know how long I'll spend in ACOSAS, but I'll know it's time to shift back to my CRDR. There is a significant mile stone in our slow burn I'm waiting for. -Occasionally during my aging life here in my CRDR I will shift ACOSAS. It won't be too long before - I have several WRs that I will visit as well, but for now, the above is my main focus.
I can't wait to fall in love with my eternal mate over and over again.

ARE YOU AN ASPIRING ACTOR AND INTERESTED IN HORROR? IF SO, PLEASE READ:
Hey all!! I'm Tim, the creator of the in progress Slenderverse series Anniversary Log. Anniversary Log is a free volunteer project my crew and I are creating for fun. It takes place in the Slenderman Universe and follows protagonist Sam Moreno's search for his missing girlfriend Emilia Hall.
I wanted to tell yall that auditions are open again. Now that my break is over, (I was going through some self doubt and missing motivation for my project and made a brash decision to drastically change it which has now been revoked) we'll be resuming the auditions for Marina Collie (koh-lee) and James Haddonfield!! If you're interested, here are the requirements below:
-must be 18 or older
-follow our YouTube channel
-must be okay with showing your face/using images + videos of yourself (basically like you would be a real actor)
-must have a flexible schedule (or at least be free weekends)
(Your information will not be shared with anybody, but your full name will appear in the credits)
This role is not local!! Any footage we will need of Marina or James will not have them interacting one on one with the main characters. They will be interacting only over phone calls and maybe (emphasis on maybe) over video call. We will also need to use pictures of you (your best ones!!) to use to create convincing social media posts and other intriguing things my crew and I have in mind for the series!!
AUDITION PROCESS:
Once you sign up (with the link I will provide on this post) you will receive your audition script once I have completed it. This will give you a few days (up to a week) to memorize your lines (if you would like) and practice by yourself and with the others in our Discord (pm me for the Discord invite or I will send you an email with the link when you sign up)
From there we will begin PRIMARY AUDITIONS where you and the others on the Discord will wait in the waiting room while the casting directors (myself, Emilia and Sam) are on the call. Once we call you in, you will perform with either Sam or Emilia (depending on which role you're going out for) and once you finish you may leave or stick around to offer the rest of the auditioners support!!
It will take a couple of days for us to release the CALLBACK LIST, but you will either receive an email with the new script linked or an email with a polite let down explaining other roles you have an opportunity for or crew member positions.
Callbacks are usually held no later than a week after primary auditions.
Callbacks work just the same as the primaries. The role is usually announced right after the performances, but if we can't decide it may take up to a day or two after.
BEING AN ACTOR IN OUR SERIES
Marina and James are minor characters in our series, so you will appear occasionally in a few entries as well as referenced in others. (Whether that be your character name is mentioned or you're shown in a picture). You will have opportunities to work one on one with our acting coaches (me as well as a few others) as well as have the opportunity to join the BTS Anniversary Log Discord chat as a CAST MEMBER. This is where all crew discussion as well as plot explanations, costuming choices, props and etc are kept. You will also be able to have VIP access to the script writing processes as well as the editing processes.
If you receive the role, you will be shouted out on our social medias (here and Twitter) as well as thanked and listed in the series' credits. If you could also support us by posting about the project and spreading awareness so we can grow our audience (regardless if you're casted) that would be wonderful!! (But ofc making sure you keep all the plot and scripts and things a secret 🤫)
If you choose to audition, you have the chance to meet a bunch of other auditioners (some from previous auditions) and learn more about the process. (I promise this isn't a scam, we have held auditions before :)))
Thank you so much !! (Links are below)

I am not pretending this is good or even coherent, I just wanted to write Vaati reading Dark for filth and I made myself laugh so hard I almost spilled my tea.
Context: Vaati has been sealed in the Four Sword. Four is on the Linked Universe quest. Vaati has figured out how to possess Four, and none of them are at all aware of this since Four has odd mood swings anyway. Dark has just finished his “join the dark side, you already worked for us once before, once a traitor always a traitor” offer/blackmail, in full view of the rest of the Chain.
Let’s see how Vaati handles that.
~🌪️🐁🔮🐁🌪️~
“Are you done.”
Four’s grip on the sword was loose, expression flat even as the rest of the Chain flicked glances between him and the shadow coiling under the branches of a tree at the edge of camp, all bloody eyes and inviting hand. Dark’s little offer had been… damning, to say the least. Wars at the very least would have strong opinions about working for the enemy, and Hyrule always twitched violently at the mention of Ganon.
The longer Dark’s hand remained open, waiting, the higher Four’s brow arched, until he finally planted a hand on his hip with a scoff. “What, did I ruin your little script? I asked if you’re done. Did you get your little spiel over, your soliloquy done, fully dig your claws into the cracks of my character, or do you need a minute?” He smiled thinly, and gave a little mocking bow. “I’m the generous sort, I’ll even let you try again.”
“Four,” someone warned, but he didn’t bother glancing back to see who. Dark was starting to frown.
Tilting his head, the villain lowered his hand slowly and gave Four another once-over, slow and thoughtful. “Did they know?”
“Of course not, they’re knights.” As if that explained everything, and maybe it did. Four gestured loosely with his sword at the rest of the Chain, slowly beginning to pace. “They live by codes, laws, pretty sociological lies that make this bloody business seem… charming. Noble.” His eyes lingered on the Hero of Legend for a long moment, before turning to level Dark with a critical look, ears flicking curiously. “You came for me assuming I feel shame, which was your first mistake. I have made choices, and I will continue to make choices. Your second mistake was failing to provide a reason for me to care what you want.”
Somewhere, someone that sounded a lot like Legend started discretely calling for bets. Hyrule flashed him a thirty.
“They will reject you,” Dark murmured, wind in the trees and a chill on the conscience. “You will outlive your welcome, if you haven’t already, and the Goddess will chain you to them by the shackles of prophecy. I am your out, your only out.”
Something in Four’s face twisted, a poorly muffled cough covering some kind of honest-to-god retching noise as he tilted his head and bent a little, like if he peered closely enough he could see what Dark’s problem was. “Out of the goodness of your heart, I’m sure.” He said it like infestation of maggots, drawn-out and sickening. “This little savior complex is very cute, but you still neglect the basic tenets of villainous seduction. Should I be insulted? Are you insulting me. We’ve run over hill and dale to take your head, and you have the nerve to half ass throwing a schism between me and my allies. Put some effort into it, you idiot man, do you want me or not?”
It was hard to get a proper read on Dark, but whatever he’d been expecting, apparently it wasn’t criticism. Before he could properly get his wind back, though, Four was already pacing again, agitated and restless.
“At least Ganon knew how to treat a man. Farore’s wings, Dark, wine and dine me if you have to. I was offered power, territory, women, armies. The heads of my enemies on a platter.” He whirled, pointed his sword at the shadow more like a lecturing tool than a weapon. “Do you offer me a single magical artifact? A handful of devoted imps? Some… marginally nicer boots? No, you offer me your friendship like some kind of pathetic amateur. I have eight of those with me right now, theoretically. You did not make me a better offer- you made me a worse one after complicating my current position, and expected me to be charitable.” He stepped closer, took an audible sniff, and immediately leaned back. “For someone who reeks of water you’re a disgrace to the name of Nayru.”
Dark actually took a step back, eyes widening, before narrowing to bloody slits. The shadows seethed at the edges of the clearing, and the man they’d been hunting through time and space drew himself up. “I’m very sorry you feel that way. All you had to do was say no, you realize.”
“And miss my chance to be educational?” Four smiled, all teeth, and went so far as to sheathe his sword in the face of Dark’s rising magic. “I thought you did your research, Dark Link. I’m a hero of courage now, don’t you know- I do so enjoy being helpful.”
The shadows swelled, something creaking in their depths like the shift of scales, of armor, of invasion, but Four whipped up a hand in a commanding halt and Dark once again froze, off-kilter. Four tsked, sighing, and watched him with something like pity.
“There is no recovering from this,” he said gently. “Not right now. Please stop wasting my time, before I have to demonstrate exactly what you wanted to ally yourself with. It would be… unfortunate.” A small, sympathetic little smile, while magic sparked between his fingers. “And costly. I do want to see you try again, you know?”
The villain actually took that moment to laugh, short and unamused. “Again? You had your chance, Vaati. You can crawl to me when you’re ready to make real changes to this world.”
“Mm, six out of ten. Better, but not by much.” A snap, and the crackle between his fingers swelled, blooming with filaments of light that danced like jagged cracks in the air, static rising on the backs of everyone’s necks. Four made a lazy sort of wave, fingers twisting, and the orb lightning tracked the motion like a loyal and affectionate dog. Four peered around it, open and curious, the light drowning out his expression.
Dark got a perfect view of golden eyes on bloody sclera, as innocent as a child. “Water is vulnerable to lightning, isn’t it?”
The shadows vanished.
The day brightened, the birdsong returned, and where Dark had been he simply wasn’t. The orb lightning fizzled out into sparks, and Four took the moment to laugh to himself, since he deserved it.
Dark may have complicated things, but it would all be fixed with a clever lie or two. Vaati was well and truly dead, after all- that had to be true, if no one knew of him but the tragic heroes of the Four Sword. Dark had simply miscalculated. Their little Vio could take the fall, as he’d been expecting to for months.
Vaati took a breath, cleared his expression, and turned back to his “allies” with the hero Link’s clear grey eyes. No one had to know.

Into, Across and Beyond! Scripting: MtOU Ending Scene
Tumblr media
After the whole ordeal in More than One Universe and My Last Trauma, OMT!Tails landed by a street looking over the city, watching out over it.
"Okay. Let's do this one last time. For real, though. This is it! My name is Tails. I was given the mantle of the hero of Mobius by my best buddy, Sonic, and I've been protecting my home for about a year and a bit. I think you know the rest."
Tumblr media
"I met a whole bunch of interdimensional friends, I cured beings with their own problems, got caught in a lot of trouble, did some singing with my girlfriend, Mina, graduated for science class with her, Cream and Max…"
"Likewise, I finished my essay in full, saved some more people, got hit by some drones, did a custom mural for Sonic and Sally with Knuckles and Amy, fully bonded with my roommate, Danny... and I even slapped a sticker at a place the SIGU are never gonna find it, haha!"
Tumblr media
"And when I feel alone, like nobody understands me, I remember my friends, near AND far, who get it."
A montage is shown of the other multiversal characters back at their homes;
Mini Sonic (and his Tails) admiring the Rubik's Cube together,
Mr. NM eating a chilli dog while on the move (this time with no villain to interrupt),
EX!Alice working on some new tech with her new Chao companion,
Nitro admiring a photo he took of his friends,
D-Sides Mighty and Hefty looking out over the view of their world,
Black Knight Amy enjoying tea with Merlina,
CU!Sonic and CU!Sonia playing together,
CR!Sonic reuniting with his kids in his Super form,
Nine reminiscing on the community he made in the Blur Gang,
Antho looking out over his home (whilst using anti-gravity shoes to stick to a ledged ceiling),
Ex-Prince Brian doing some writing to pass the time,
Devy preparing his engagement ring for his Vanilla with Smol Devy by his side,
MFF!Sonic hanging with the cured/redeemed Sonath on a beach,
Hog looking out over the city himself with a smile,
and finally Wacky looking back at the closing portal, eager to go back to the adventures again.
Tumblr media
"I never thought I'd be able to do any of this stuff. But I can! Anyone can wear the shoes of a hero! YOU could wear those shoes, too. If you didn't know that before, I hope you do now. 'Cause I'm Miles 'Tails' Prower! And I'm not the only hero out there, not by a long shot!"
Tumblr media
"And if I need help from any friends I made during my last mission, I can easily go between dimensions now, or it could even work to interact with them more and enjoy time with them as people. It's all at the tip of my fingers."
"For now, though..."
Tumblr media
"It's time to go save the world once more!"
And so, Tails leapt forth, fully at peace with himself and truly ready to be the hero his world needed.
At another ledge with OMT!Mina...
"As for me... I've never been able to find the right band... So I started my own!"
She looked forward with the Blur Gang next to her.
"With a few friends I made along the way!"
She looked to the screen as she prepared to take the leap.
"You want in?"
Finally, after one more exciting day, OMT!Tails returned to his school dorm, just as a portal opened with a familiar silhouette on the other side.
MV!Tails: Hey, young me! You got a minute or two?

Do you have a recap of the panel from the earlier day that you posted pics from as well? Or only the last day? (No rush to post it if you do, just want to know whether it’ll be coming).
The Saturday VIP panel was awkwardly run, and not as good as the Monday Panels. I did take some notes after I left just for myself so I would remember what they talked about. They aren’t as comprehensive because I hadn’t yet realised people would be as interested in knowing.
I have had a few people ask about the first panel so I’ll put my notes below for those who are interested. I haven’t edited these so if there’s any spelling or grammar mistakes forgive me. And just to note, a lot of what was said was repeated again in the Monday panels because people asked similar questions.
Michelle
My favourite Michelle story was her saying when she pinned Peter to the wall and kissed him and she held her other hand back behind her and Jenna just took her hand and held it in her own and she turned to Jenna and said you’re weird.
She auditioned for a different role got it had to turn it down because she was working on something else at the time, wouldn’t say what, but told Moffatt that if anything else came up to give her a call because she really wanted to do Doctor Who. Then she got a call from her agent they asked if she was sitting, so she sat down, and they told her that Moffatt wanted her to play the master and she asked her agent is Moffatt new she was a woman, her agent said yes and the rest is history. Also a number of answer were similar to the main panels because people asked similar questions between the panels.
It was Moffatt’s idea for Mary Poppins to be the most terrible villain in the universe, which she thinks is great. And she gave props to the costume designer for bringing the outfit to life.
In SVU her first scene was with Mariska Hargitay with 4 pages of dialogue and at the end of it she walked off and in character shoulder tapped her, that wasn’t in the script or directing, and she walked around the corner and freaked out because she realised she just shoulder checked her boss, and she heard Mariska go… who is that? And she thought oh no I just got myself fired but Mariska loved it.
She had a crush on Peter back in the day… long before Doctor Who. She remembers him like a Scottish David Bowie when she was up and coming as an actress
Her first job out of school was playing David Bowies girlfriend in a movie.
She talked about if wanting to pursue acting be ready for rejection and understand what parts you’ll be able to play. That she found success later in life because she couldn’t really pull off the girl next door but once she got older and grew into her face and could play villains and witches she was able to get more parts, but that can take time and lots of rejection and you need you push through and not let it get you down.
One of Michelle Favourite episodes is when she turned up to set with her 8 year old son and there were daleks everywhere and she put her son in one and stayed in all day he was so excited (she wasn’t sure the episode name but maybe it’s The Magician's Apprentice/The Witch's Familiar?)
She didn’t adlib much in doctor who because Moffatt was very good at writing in her voice so when doing the scripts nothing ever felt off.
When asked about where is like in NZ she said she had only gotten in the morning before so she’d have to come back to that but she was planning on doing some sight seeing after the con.
Sacha
My favourite Sacha story was saying he had to send in an audition tape to Chibs of his interpretation of the Master and Chibs was like, great but could you take it down a notch, because the Master isn’t on drugs. Could you imagine a more unhinged Master? That could have been epic! 5 episodes was not enough of my little SpyMaster.
Sacha said it’s easy to get caught up in acting and getting jobs but make sure you make time for life because all those lives experiences go into your acting and if you’re so caught up in acting and finding work you’ll miss out on that. Michelle agreed.
Sacha talked about how when he was in Sherlock he was doing a fight scene with Ben and it ended in a pool so there kept having to go to a heat unit between takes and strip down out off the wet clothes and while they were in there talking he told Ben he had audition for the marvel show iron fist and Ben made a phone call and told someone there to make sure they took a look at his tape and he got the job. Then at a convention he saw Ben there so went up and said hi, and they had a quick chat and as he left he say I love you, and Ben said it back but he has no idea why he said it. But obviously they love each other.
Name dropped Ray Holman asking if that was who design Michelle’s costume too, but Michelle just looked at him like ‘I don’t know’ so he didn’t say any more. Lol.
Mentioned that lots of people talk about who came first him or Missy, and this was new information to Michelle’s and she was like ‘really’, and he explained because her arc was a redemption arc some people wanted her incarnation to be the last master.
