As a result of its dark magic capabilities, Encatress is feared and shunned, but it still has a kind heart and will do anything to help those it cares for.

Introduction

Alexis "Lexi" Ward is the leader of the Arakawa Division rap battle team, Sounds of Silence. She is known far and wide by her moniker, Agent 355. An operative from America, and one of the best members to don their uniform, Alexis takes her position as an agent for the Agency very seriously. And with the influence and threat of Chuohku steadily growing larger and larger by the day, she was personally chosen by the director of her team to stem their threat before it grows too large to control.

Alexis is a beautiful American woman with short red hair that goes past her neck and bangs that sometimes fall into her light-brown eyes. She stands at six feet and weighs 147 lb. She has a C-sized chest, long hips, and a somewhat slim waist.

When she isn't working, Alexis dresses casually wearing a sleeveless black crop top, blue jeans with star prints, an oversized brown leather belt, and low-heeled brown sandals. She has a pair of blue sunglasses, either on top of her head or on her face. Lastly, she has a black collar around her neck.

When she is on the job, Alexis wears a uniform typical of the Agency. It consists of a white buttoned dress shirt, a pair of black slacks, some black dress socks and shoes, a matching-colored tie, and a suit jacket. She's discarded her sunglasses for a pair of reading glasses, giving her a more professional look. She's also tied up her hair in the back, giving her a bun. She also has a pair of dog tags around her neck. Lastly, an emblem is implanted on her dress shirt, which shows her affiliation to the U.S. and her organization.

Alexis's Microphone takes the form of a black earpiece headset, which goes into her ears. It is similar to what security guards wear while on the job.

Her Speaker takes the form of three American flags on poles, blowing in the wind. Instead of the aluminum balls usually displayed atop each pole, they are replaced with speakers. Atop the pole in the middle sits a bald eagle.

Her rap ability, Build Me Up, allows Alexis to increase her attack, defense, and stamina the more that her team or her opponents use their abilities. Unlike her teammates, her ability is always active.

Alexis's rap themes center on her love for her job, her family and her country. She speaks about how America has prevailed and persevered throughout its 200+ year-old history and how it will continue to do so. On serious topics, she raps about her hatred for enemies of America, and her wish to find the man behind her father and brother's murders. She will also sometimes rap about her love for the outdoors, knowledge and taking pictures.

Personality

Despite how she appears, Alexis is a nice, friendly woman outside of her uniform who is kind to everyone. When she is not working, she enjoys spending her time outside in nature, taking photos with her Sony a7 IV. She dislikes being cooped up in one place, which is why she loves her cover job as a photographer, as it allows her to go to new places and see new sights. She loves the pictures she takes, considering them priceless treasures.

Alexis is also a lover of fine clothes, enjoying going shopping with her friends. She also enjoys reading in her spare time and is an avid fan of women's magazines and fashion blogs. She also enjoys engaging in idle talk with her friends at times. However, she has stated that she doesn't like gossip, and will not participate in it no matter who it is about, as she finds the thought and idea of talking about someone behind their back to be disgusting. However, once it is time for her to get to work, Alexis becomes an entirely different person, dedicated solely to the perfection of her job, and the absolute completion of her mission, whatever it may be. And though she has been reprimanded for disobeying orders on occasion, her work and accomplishments are always enough to keep her from being punished.

She is firmly loyal to her country, even if she doesn't always agree with the policies put in place by those in charge. She has stated that if she has to give her life to defend it, then she gladly will. She believes that this is the ultimate show of loyalty she can give to the U.S. The real reason for this is due to the fact that both her father and older brother gave their lives to protect the former president. She now strives to live as well and as best as she can to honor their memories.

Introduction

Ted Bridges is the second member of the Hakodate Division rap battle team, Kuma no ie. He is known by his MC name, Teddy. A former veteran in the Canadian army, Ted retired from military service after WWIII ended and vowed to give up violence. After the death of his beloved wife, he fled to Hakodate and now lives a quiet life in the mountains with his son. But what will happen when unfortunate circumstances force him to give up his life of peace and take up arms again?

A heavily-built man in his late 30s with a rugged mountain-man appearance, Ted is a lot heavier and taller than most men. He has very noticeable muscles on his arms and chest due to his time serving in the army, and his current life as a mountain man. He has brown eyes and bright red hair that is cut short. His hair color is not natural, as he dyed it, along with his eyebrows, a different color when he escaped to Hakodate. He also has some peach fuzz growing on his chin. His body is riddled with faded scars, most of which he got while wrestling with bears up in the mountains. A few are from his time serving in the military. The most noticeable one is the one on his face across the bridge of his nose.

For his attire, he wears a tight black muscle shirt that outlines the muscles on his chest. Over it, he wears a brown leather military jacket that is unbuttoned. On his bottom, he wears a pair of black jeans and a pair of brown boots with matching-colored socks. Around his neck, he wears a dog tag that is also from his time in the military. And around his head is a black bandana. In one of the pockets of his jacket is a gold locket, which is a memento from his wife.

Bridges - 'variant of Bridge. In some cases, this name denoted someone from the Flemish city of Bruges (Brugge) in Belgium meaning ‘bridges’ which had extensive trading links with England in the Middle Ages.'

Hypnosis Microphone

Ted's Microphone is a gold condenser microphone on a silver stand. The mic, itself, takes the form of a labrys, a double-bladed axe, and the mic appears in the middle of the blades.

His Speaker takes the form of a gold heart-shaped locket, similar to the one he keeps in his coat pocket. When he begins rapping, it opens up, revealing a speaker inside.

His rap ability, Heart of the Mountains, drastically increases Ted's defense, protecting him from minor blows from his opponents. He can keep this ability active for as long as he wants, but the longer it's active, the more stamina and energy he uses up.

Ted's rap themes are centered around his life, and his desire to keep it as peaceful as he can. He often raps about incidents from his past that have shaped him into the man that he is. He also mentions the love he has for his life, his family, Hakodate, and Japan, as a whole.

Personality

To say that Ted is an intimidating figure would be putting it lightly. He is quite scary when angered and his large stature doesn't exactly help matters. He doesn't make attempts to hide his disliking for people strangers or people who he feels are attempting to ruin the peaceful life he has made with his son. An excellent judge of character, he can easily discern what kind of character a person is just from their look or stance alone. It has caused him to chase more than a few people off the mountains where he lives.

Once a decorated war hero who made a name for himself during the Third World War, Ted was known as a remorseless and cold soldier. His fury in battle, as well as his appearance, gave him the moniker, "The Bear". However, he was also known to be very cautious, often taking precautions in battle. It was this behavior that caused the death of one of his closest war buddies, whom Ted feels he could have saved if he had been more aggressive. After witnessing the horrors brought on by conflict, the gruff man eventually resigned and went on to start a family. From then on, he was known for his kind, yet firm demeanor and humbleness.

Knowing what it's like to go into battle and have to kill, Ted strongly dislikes senseless violence and has an extreme disliking for killing. That's not to say that he doesn't enjoy a good brawl now and then. In his spare time when he is not working as a woodsman, he'll often be found wrestling with some of the bears found in the mountains, considering it a good sport. Also, whenever he comes across poachers or people who seek to do him or his son harm, he always hurts them to the point where they get the message to not return to the mountains again. Usually, one well-placed punch is enough for most people to get the message.

Underneath his rough demeanor, Ted is a loving father who only cares for the well-being of his son. Though it takes a while to earn his trust, he is known to be a good friend to many. He automatically befriended the Ainu people living in the valley below the mountains when he saved a bear cub from a bunch of poachers. This caused the Ainu people to see the foreign lumberjack as one of them. And though he didn't have to, he saved Kokomi when she was injured, nursing her back to health, which earned him her friendship and admiration.

Another aspect of Ted is his hatred for anything involving Chuohku. He dislikes the matriarchal government due to the fact that he blames them for the death of his wife. Though Chuohku insists that her death was a "workplace accident", Ted firmly believes that she was killed for less-than-honorable reasons. He now dislikes anything to do with them. Despite that, he hasn't done anything to directly oppose them, not caring at all what they do so long as they leave him and his son alone.

Trivia

Though he owns a chalet to sleep in, he often chooses to sleep outside, feeling more at peace on the ground.

He ferments and creates his own type of beer, which is a hit for the people of Hakodate and the surrounding cities. He refuses to give up the recipe or market it.

His birthday is the same day as 'World Bear Day'.

As stated, he often spends his free time wrestling bears. Out of 200 matches, 199 of them have been won in his favor. The only one that wasn't was declared a 'draw'.

Though he has no solid proof, Ted believes that his wife was approached by Chuohku because she had the ability to "speak" to animals, as if able to understand what they were saying. He often worries that his son has the same ability, which was one of the reasons he moved to Hakodate from Okinawa.

Introduction

Oki Teagan is the third and final member of the Ginza Division rap battle team, Last Judgment. He is known far and wide by his rap moniker, ATLAS. A former rap star that was once part of the rap supergroup known as C H A R O N, it is unknown what became of Oki after the group sadly broke up. The rest of the members moved on with their lives, but he was the only one whose status was unknown. Now, two years after the group's dissolution, he has suddenly appeared out of nowhere and has joined Ginza Division. Many questions abound, with the main one being: what happened to him these past two years?

An imposing man, Oki hasn't changed much in the last two years since he disappeared. He is a man in his early 30s, though he looks to be in his mid-to-late 20s, much like Masa. He is tall and has noticeable muscles on his chest. His hair is brown and goes down to his lower neck, which has a tattoo of a skull on the back of it. His most noticeable feature is the scar on his right eye, which he obtained years ago during a bar brawl. Personality

To say that Oki was a bully and a ruffian would be a complete and gross underestimate. Since his childhood, he has always had a very hard time controlling his temper and emotions, which often got him into trouble. Even as an adult, he still had a penchant for starting fights and getting into trouble. When he was part of C H A R O N, he reveled in the spotlight and the publicity that his role as a rapper gave him, and he didn't hesitate to show it off against those who were less fortunate than him.

Chinami Chinen, one of the lyricists for the group, believed that his personality was a result of Oki's frail psychology, as he often based his self-worth on his and C H A R O N's accomplishments. Whenever C H A R O N was congratulated or complimented, it made Oki proud. However, when the group had setbacks, he became desolate and upset, often blaming the other members of the group rather than realizing that everyone, as a whole, was equally responsible. Also, when giving his opinion about C H A R O N's bad reputation and the malicious rumors on anonymous discussion boards, he reveled in their envy, laughing at them for being weak and mentioning how he frequented those boards just to see how mad they were.

He had no qualms about using his size, stature, and demeanor to get people to do what he wanted. It was for this reason that he was the least popular member of the group, both inside and outside of it. Even though he disliked every member of C H A R O N aside from his best friend, Haru, Haru, himself, often stated that Oki never acted that way when they were both younger.

Despite his friendship with Haru, there were, as stated, some disagreements between the two. One of which was Haru's relationship with Chinami, whom Oki never liked and disapproved of since their initial meeting. Though Chinami helped to push the group to stardom with her lyrics and rhymes, Oki still never approved of her. And after Haru died, his disliking for her turned into hatred, as he blamed her for the death of his best friend, though his death wasn't anyone's fault. His hatred then turned into a vendetta as he blamed her for the ending of C H A R O N, since her departure broke the group up.

After Haru's death and C H A R O N's disbandment, Oki became a shell of himself. Though he tried to keep the group from splintering, he failed to do so. The other members agreed to disband, not only due to the fact that Haru and Chinami, two of their strongest people, had both left, but because his previous actions had made him unlikable to the rest of the group. Afterward, he suffered a severe mental breakdown and began blaming everyone but himself for his own problems.

His personality now, after disappearing for a few years, is relatively the same, though there are some major differences. For one, he is a lot colder and more distant, preferring to keep people at arm's length, including his teammates. And two, aside from his relationship with his grandmother, he cannot recall the previous interactions he had with people in his past, including his teammates. However, there is one thing that remains true to his persona. And that's his hatred for the woman known as Chinami Chinen is still as strong as ever.

Kira, despite being the middle child, is perhaps the most disciplined and orderly one of the three sisters. In her words, 'Being an investigator is all about dealing with a crime after it happened. At least as a cop, I had the means to stop it.' Her coworkers often tell her that her work is important to prevent the crime from happening again, and though she knows they are right, she still doesn't like it.

Still, Kira takes her job seriously and does all she can to be good at it. It was her hard work ethic and determination that caused her to be approached by the Deputy Prime Minister, Ichijiku Kadenkoji, who offered her the position of Vice Chief of Chuohku's Administrative Inspection Bureau, after the former head (Hitaki Tsumabira) was arrested. Though she has no liking for Chuohku, Kira, nonetheless, accepted the position and has proved to be far better at her job than Hitaki ever was.

She is the only one of the Chinen sisters that smokes. It's a habit she picked up while in the army. Her favorite brand of cigarettes is Marlboro Black 100s.

Her MC name is the nickname her friends at the police force gave her because even after others had given up on a case, she stayed diligent and continued hunting for clues and suspects, even when there were none to be found. Her friend mentioned she resembled something of a 'hunter' in the forest.

Due to her work as an investigator, she is, more or less, acquainted with a large number of people throughout Japan.

Despite being female and using the pronouns, 'She/Her', she doesn't mind if people refer to her as, 'They/Theirs', so long as they aren't being insulting or mean about it.

Joey Kurusu, also known as Joker in Rap Battles, is a Homicide Detective for the Kanazawa Police Department that’s known for solving the most gruesome cases despite his young age. He joined the DRB after making the connection that the serial killer(s) might be related to his sister’s murder and convinced his co-worker and colleague, Wataru Sasaki, to let him join his team.

Yeong was born as the only heir to the prestigious and well-known Cain family in Korea. Ever since he could remember, he was always taught by his parents how he should act. He was taught what words to say, how to sit and walk properly, how to conduct himself in public, and much more. As a child, he didn't mind it, believing that this was just the way of things. But as he got older and saw how free most of the other kids in Korea were compared to him, he began to find his parents' rules and way of doing things stifling.

At the age of eight, he asked his parents could he take up martial arts as a hobby. Not surprisingly, his parents refused, not only because this wasn't how a child of nobility should act, but also because they were afraid he'd hurt himself. Four years later, at the age of 12, he again asked permission from his parents to learn Taekwondo, but again his parents refused. Upset at this, he argued that an heir should be strong, as well as smart. But still, his parents refused to relent. At wit's end, Yeong stated that he would leave the family if his parents wouldn't grant him his request. Seeing how serious he was, his parents had no choice but to acquiesce their wayward son.

Over the span of two years, Yeong prodigiously excelled in Taekwondo at 14, and even earned high marks by his grandmaster, Dong Hajoon, after going face to face with him in battle. Though he was stern, his master often showed Yeong moments of kindness and clarity. He also introduced the game of Go to the young teen, which Yeong would come to love. Growing older, the grandmaster also regarded the young Cain heir as a worthy successor of the school, even though as that was not even possible for him and the ecstatic Yeong, as the prestigious Cain family name was the very obstacle.

At the age of 16, he graduated high school early, earning himself a doctorate, pleasing his parents' greatly, who knew that Yeong would make a good successor to the family. However, to everyone's surprise there, Yeong stated that he renounced his family name and was going to live his life as he wanted. He then changed his last name from 'Cain' to 'Hajoon', honoring his old master.

Four years later, at 20, Yeong made the decision to █████████, wanting to experience something fun for once in his life. Every chance he got, he rebuked his family name, stating that, 'I'm not that person anymore.' Though he was a good fighter and listener, his penchant for disobeying rules and orders gave his senior officials more than a few headaches.

When they had been dating for over a year, major problems arose. Cybele became very clingy and didn't like Adalet going anywhere without telling her first. Cybele needed to know where Adalet was and what her girlfriend was doing at all times, and it got to an obsessive point.

Magnus and Aurora convinced Adalet to break up with Cybele. The Hybrid didn't want to at first, but after being separated from Cybele for a while, she realized how possessive her girlfriend had been. She cut Cybele out of her life and refused to take the woman back, no matter what Cybele said or did to try and get her back.

Eventually, Cybele moved on from her obsession with Adalet. She dated numerous people over the following years until she met Evangelos Kontos. To some, it seemed like Cybele had finally found someone to settle down with.

Oh, how wrong those people were!

Cybele regularly cheated on Evangelos behind his back. She was even planning on breaking up with him once they returned to Olympus after their vacation to Earth. The only reason she had even agreed to go to Earth was because Evangelos convinced her to see Greece and learn about the human interpretation of Greek Mythology.

While on the flight to Earth, Evangelos got talking to Aurora Toivonen. While Aurora didn't know that Cybele was on the flight, she did know that the hundred-eyed man was dating her. Not wanting the man to get hurt and to find someone better for himself, Aurora confessed to having heard rumours about Cybele cheating on him.

With rage brewing inside, Evangelos thanked Aurora for her honesty and silently vowed to confront Cybele when they landed. A part of him refused to believe she would cheat, so he needed to hear it from her to be sure.

Cybele was confronted about her commitment issues when they reached Turkey. To Evangelos's shock, Cybele laughed at him as she confessed to having cheated. She told him all about her affairs and how she couldn't wait to break up with him after the trip.

Evangelos, who had planned to propose to his girlfriend in Greece, took the engagement ring out to show her how much he loved her. Cybele turned the ring to stone and threw it on the ground, shattering it to pieces while continuing to mock her boyfriend.

Now blinded by shame and anger, Evangelos took out his new energy sword and decapitated Cybele before she could even blink. He will never forget the look of fear permanently frozen on Cybele's face as her head rolls on the ground away from her body. While killing her brought him some sick satisfaction, Evangelos still loves Cybele and regrets murdering her.

If Cybele had actual hair, it would have been dark brown

While her snakes had their own minds, Cybele could control them. The snakes mostly moved around aimlessly when not controlled

Hated the cold. Back when they dated, if Adalet wanted Cybele to leave her alone, the only guaranteed method was to lower her body temperature. This forced Cybele to let Adalet go and seek out warmth

Loved Greek mythology. If anyone bad-mouthed it or claimed another mythology was superior, they would soon find themselves turned into a statue and would stay that way until Cybele decided to un-stone them

Cybele could reverse the petrification at any time by looking into the statue's eyes. Or by dousing them in water from Medusa's Cove: an underground lake located below the Temple of Medusa on Olympus
