TOTK Ending Spoiler
It warms my heart how the first thing Link touches with his restored hand, the one with which he failed to grab Zelda at the start of the game, is Zelda’s hand.

Thoughts on the parallels (and perhaps a missing parallel) between ep. 1 and ep. 6
AKA COFFEE or DEATH
So in episode 1 we see Crowley drink his 6 shots of espresso (big cup, nothing else). This is the coffee. Later he hears the Book of Life threat via Beelzebub. This is the death. This sparks his return to Aziraphale where he apologizes and they come up with a plan together.
In episode 6 we get the Metatron asking Nina if anyone ever chooses death while he’s getting the coffee. He pressures Aziraphale into taking it, which he drinks. This is the coffee again. When we see Aziraphale with the Metatron he doesn’t seem excited. He says he doesn’t want to go back to Heaven. And right before he goes back into the bookshop he seems tense. Then we see Aziraphale bursting to share his exciting “news”. So why the big emotional switch?
My theory is that we are missing the death part of his conversation with the Metatron. I think the Metatron told him that either Crowley comes with him to Heaven, or he stays out of Heaven’s way. And if he doesn’t stay out of Heaven’s way then…. either the Metatron implies death or explicitly says he could be erased from the Book of Life. Remember, Crowley never told Aziraphale about the Book of Life threat. So are we getting a parallel where Aziraphale doesn’t tell Crowley about a similar threat?
This makes the “I forgive you” line make so much more sense! In ep. 1, Crowley comes back! He does the apology dance! They make a plan! But in ep. 6, Aziraphale is now leaving (opposite outcome), they’re not together, there’s no plan, so we close the parallel with “I forgive you”, creating a thematic circle with episode 1. Not only could “I forgive you” mean “I forgive you for not helping me in the way I want” it also reflects the apology in episode 1!
