I meant to mention I had to make an ao3 and wattpad bc of the plagiarism getting out of hand, and I just…..really dislike posting on there🫤 its so much easier here. the whole stealing/reposting/editing my stories for non-nct sucks to see too. its tiring to deal with.

its calm, I take my breaks when I need to, and I am very disconnected from the nct writing community sans a couple of friends I made who I keep contact with off of here. I don’t read nct fics and I have no idea whats going on over here, its nice lmao.

I do think I should address that I’m down to maybe 3-4 nct members I even have interest in writing for still😅 not bc I have started to dislike any, I’m just not as attached to too many of them anymore. So Secret is finally over, let me just go cry in the corner real quick 😫😭🤧 but nevertheless, I really loved reading about these friends and couples 🥰 I’m going to miss this chaotic group 🥹 I still remember when I first read this and was left with the cliffhanger of MC and Chim having that fallout, I was so devastated but was so hopeful for it to only get better since you promised us a happy ending for them. I was always so excited when you update it and remember how amazed I was with how well you make the social media chapters. And now we’re here 🥺 I love how the gang is finally reunited 🥳 Tae being sulky for not being picked as best man and going through Jk’s legs to join the group hug was just so him 😂 And Jk being such an excited bunny and the OG cheerleader of MCxJimin is so heartwarming to see 🥹 This was such a great ending to their story, I’m so gonna miss this group 🤧 Hoping to see glimpses of their future thru future drabbles🤞but only if you feel like it of course, it’s completely fine if you just want to end it this way 😊 Thank you for this amazing story and I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us soon 😌 I’m especially excited for the TLC continuation, I still remember how you made me feel with its ending 🙃 lol

2020 Creator Wrap: Favorite Works

I was tagged by the oh so talented @irolltwenties!

Rules: it’s time to love yourselves! choose your 5 (or so) favorite works you created in the past year (fics, art, edits, etc.) and link them below to reflect on the amazing things you brought to the world in 2020. tag as many writers/artists/etc. as you want (fan or original) so we can spread the love and link each other to awesome works!

I’m not a particularly prolific writer (WIPs for days, but completed projects? Not so much). Somehow in this hell year though, I did manage to complete more fics than in any previous year for a total of seven new works (~49k words, all on ao3), plus a chunky chap of a long running WIP (~20k words) so I’m actually pretty damn proud of myself! I also made some new fandom friends in 2020 which has easily been one of the biggest delights of the year & has definitely helped my creative momentum, so ty all for that. <3

Counting down from 5, here are my favs:

5. Downtime

I have endless love for JayRoy and it felt so good to finally finish something for them for once this year! All of my past WIPs primarily focused on them ended up firmly in my graveyard folder, including the fic that this one shot was originally meant to be connected to. I liked the way this turned out well enough to clean it up and post it on its own though, so at least now I can say that I have something published for them at last.

(Also it got me back into the JayRoy headspace enough to outline a whole YJ/Earth16 JayRoy fic that I’m excited to start drafting in 2021, so we’ll see where that goes...)

2.3k NSFW; A mix of playful sweet and roughness, just like them.

4. Mirror Image

Bluepulse Week really saved me this year in terms of forcing me to just write, damn it! Did I finish all the prompts this year? Nope. Did it get me to complete a handful of fics that I ended up really loving? Yes. This was one of them.

This fic zoomed into existence entirely out of necessity as an alt idea to a prompt that I had a much longer idea for, but didn’t have time to complete. It then got a positive enough reception that I decided to turn it from a crack-adjacent, passable one-shot to a slightly more developed two-shot by request of one of my commenters. Really, it was writing that second chapter that ended up endearing the fic to me.

6.3k Humor, time travel shenanigans & accidental dating. This fic is the sweetness of teenage crushes, the confusing mess of discovering your sexuality, & laughter with your best friend.

3. Soft Wesper One Shots

Would you look at that, another nsfw piece. Could it be that I’m starting to get to the point where I can look back at completed nsfw fics without cringing terribly? Love that for me.

This fic took me by surprise, tbh. I wouldn’t consider myself a part of the grisaverse fandom (I’m utterly ambivalent toward the OG trilogy & have no plans to read them), but I did fall deeply in love with the whole Six of Crows gang earlier this year to the point of having quite the book hangover afterward, unable to pick up anything else except related fanfic for a couple weeks straight. These fluffy, nsfw scenes were born out of that, and I was pleasantly surprised to see such a positive response to them in the comments. The whole SoC gang has my heart, but the dynamic between Jesper and Wylan in particular got my writing fingers itching.

3.7k Domestic, post-canon fluff & tender sex with flirty Jesper & blushing Wylan abound.

2. Stick With Me

Ohh, I still get warm fuzzies thinking about this fic! If I’m only low-key proud of the first three on this list, this is one I’m legitimately very proud of. I had this idea on the docket already from a convo with @ivyxwrites early this year (or maybe last year? who knows, time means nothing anymore) but used Bluepulse Week as the excuse to finally get started, and I ended up adoring the process of writing it far more than I anticipated.

As much as I love planning out meticulously crafted, plotty stories, sometimes all you want to do is pick some well-loved tropes out of a hat instead and run with them (in this case: stuck in a cabin, only one bed, & heated argument leading to confession). It was freeing to just mess around and have fun with this fic, knowing pretty much right from the get-go how I wanted it to unfold and seeing it so vividly in my mind. It also probably helped that I was writing it for Ivy; it’s much easier for me to stay motivated when creating directly for my friends.

Finishing this was also such a serotonin-filled burst of pure victory for me since, as previously stated, I’m terrible at finishing projects--particularly multi-chap fics, particularly within a decent timeframe.

25.5k A showcase of the essence of what I love about the best friends-to-lovers dynamic. Part character study, part wires getting crossed & uncrossed, and whole idiots to lovers. This fic is the warmth in the pit of your stomach from a yearning made real & the sudden clarity of realizing what you were looking for had already been there all along.

1. The Rest Pt 1: Delicate (Remember Me Chap 4)

Oh, Remember Me. Of everything I’ve ever written, this story remains the one I’m most proud of and certainly the closest to my heart (not to mention the longest running, whoops). The first iteration of the beginning of this story was actually drafted back in 2017, but I walked away from it for a couple of years before deciding to dust it off and try again. It has spiraled into something far bigger in scope than I originally planned for, but I’ve come to love the path it’s led me down so far, and finishing this whopping 20k chunkster of a chapter was like breathing a huge (if temporary) sigh of relief.

This chap was particularly cathartic to write because it allowed for a number of convos between the boys that had really needed to happen, and was finally the ‘getting together’ moment the fic had been building toward for a while. It’s also so sappy I could die, but I will not be apologizing for that, lol. I was really hoping to get Chap 5 up this year as well, but y’know. Sometimes things just don’t work out like you plan for and that’s okay. 

Chap 5 does have 17k done already (with prob another 5-8k still to go) & I’m itching to share it, but no sense in rushing if the end result would suffer for it. Luckily, everyone in comments has been kind enough to beat me over the head with ‘take your time, we don’t mind/we’ll still be here!!!’ which I’m immensely grateful for. So, at least the pressure to hurry up and get it done is purely self-inflicted.

Of all my works, this fic has not only gotten the most passionate responses, but has also been the main gateway for me to interact with other bluepulse creators, which has been a real joy. Nothing brightens my day like the essays people leave me over there from time to time after discovering the fic. That kind of engagement is the highest praise, & responding is very self indulgent fun for me (bc, clearly, I could go on and on about this fic & YJ in general forever).

54.8k total so far (WIP). Bart & Jaime’s relationship journey from beginning to ‘current day’ (aka the moment the fic begins), using amnesia/memory restoration as a framing device. The high highs and low lows of first love, navigating a 3 yr age difference, and the long, winding road from best friends to lovers as the years roll on. Slow-burn-adjacent (in terms of both the boys’ relationship to each other and reader’s relationship to the fic bc of how long I take between goddamn updates).

10. How would you describe your writing process?

In one word? Disorganized. I come up with a LOT of ideas. A lot of my day, I’m doing something else but I come up with stories to keep my brain going, keep focused, y’know? Most of them I end up just talking about with friends or making little headcanon/idea posts for here, but the ones I actually write, I add to a list I have in my phone’s notes app and when I want to start a new wip cause I finished one or I’m stuck on the ones I’m working with, I’ll pick the most dynamic one. Whichever feels like I can write the most out of, right then and there. Then I just create a doc and hop between active wips as I feel inspired to do them, generally on my phone bc I tend to write more when it’s not showing me an active page/word count. Some of my AO3 fics took a single afternoon, two days, a week, and then I have ones that took like five or nine months. But when I finish them, I rarely do a lot of edits, just a quick sweep if at all—when I get lucky and someone agrees to beta read, I do more—then I drop it to AO3, edit the italics for here(they format differently) and then post. All in all, not counting actual writing time, I spend probably a month on the shortest ideas because I rarely focus on one at a time enough to just do them, so the process for me is a mess. It’s fun tho!

19. Is there something you always find yourself repeating in your writing? (favorite verb, something you describe ‘too often’, trope you can’t get enough of?)

Trope-wise, I almost always do fluff or hurt-comfort. I write what I need to read and 9/10 times it’s happy endings or soft stuff. And found family, but that’s a given. I tend to not like to repeat words as much, though? I tend to find it kind of annoying to myself when I write a word that I’ve just used or if I use too many like, pronouns in a scene rather than names, and while I don’t have that problem reading, when I write I try to vary the way I word stuff or use like, nicknames and descriptors when I can rather than “he did this, he said that.”

I tend to describe the same scenarios a lot too, also because it’s what I want to see more of. One of the big ones is physical closeness without any sort of like, expectations? A lot of times there’s this sense in media where hugs, kisses, cuddles, that comes with this idea that nsfw content’s gonna be attached. And as an ace person I think we should maybe not do that so much? I like to show that love can be just as strong in tender moments as it can in intimate ones.

Another thing I like to do a lot is part of my love of hurt/comfort, but specifically trauma or abuse recovery? Part of it is because I’m personally on that journey of sorts but I like to write Drake recovering from years of isolation(og-verse especially) or transphobia-based conflict, and Lena’s arc with leaving Magica and learning to be, like, a whole person, just as she is. I did it with Gos before LGD too, a sort of AU-origin about her going from her loving grandpa to having nothing, nobody, to finding home with Drake and LP. I still stand by the concept that she was for SURE homeless for a while between the first Ramrod incident and her running into DW, because she & Lena? The same exact self-reliant, “I always do it myself” kind of attitude. Not like I’d know the feeling or anything. I like giving characters that second chance, that space to grow and become better than their past and to learn what love feels like, because everyone deserves at least a little more love than they have.

fdfjkkskdkslalsljdjdkl SO, three years ago, my depressed adhd ass started writing my OWN chapter two for your Jade fic bc I liked it so much and wanted more of it. and since then, I've been adding onto/editing/deleting small parts of it at a time at random intervals. for THREE WHOLE ASS YEARS. i have this issue when writing omo where my brain short circuits from secondhand embarrassment, and then I lose the ability to words 😳 so i didn't even really get into the h/c part (the best part), and the part i do have isn't fleshed out at all lolol it's really NOT my best writing, but that is something that's sitting in my notes currently jsyk 😂😂

ALSO from one adhd ass to another, there's no shame in three years ajfkfljl (Confession: I have some unfinished S/upergirl omo drafts from about that same time still in my files that I poke at occassionally lmao). Writing should be fun for you, so please don't let it turn into a chore or pressure yourself!

Oof I feel you on the secondhand embarrassment 😳 If it helps, what I try to do at times like that is just write absolutely ridiculous bullet notes of how the scene should go/what happens. Like tumblr shitpost levels of silly! That helps get some of the initial embarrassment out because whatever I write after that is at least marginally less weird/awkward lol. Then I can very slowly chip away at that with actual sentences around it whenever I can function for a few minutes at a time, and delete the notes once I've filled it out enough.

But if you don't quite get past it then hey, that's okay! At least that wonderful scene is still in your beautiful brain 😉

Please don't put yourself down though, I'm sure your writing is lovely!!! 💛💛💛 And you should be proud of what you've already written uvu

I'd definitely love to see it sometime, whether that's a WIP sent through tumblr's submission function or the finished thing in another few years lol. But if you'd rather keep it for you/not post it that's also perfectly fine! No pressure of course! 💛 I'm just thrilled you're enjoying yourself and were kind enough to tell me about it!

Word of advice if you haven't already though: for the love of all that is holy if you just have it in a notes app save a copy to google docs or smth else secure that covers multiple devices lol. That's how my og ch2 draft died so please Learn From My Arrogance 😵

hello cindy! i'm working on setting up a writeblr and your account is one of my favorites. i want to come up with a tagging system that's easy to follow and it seems like yours is pretty organized, do you mind explaining how you tag posts? thank you, i hope you have a great day or night!

hi!! omg :pleading: is it really? that means so much to me and i’m glad you like my blog !! <3 sure! so i’m used to being pretty organized bc on my main i like to keep everything tagged so i can locate things after, so i sort of adapted that into my writeblr when i made one:

“o: [insert url]” - the o for me stands for original (author)! i do this so i can track by blogs, sometimes i do o: [name] if i’m close with someone so its easier for me to just locate if they change urls or something, but i’ve seen a lot of ppl do similar things like og, u., or just the url by it’s own tag. pretty much, i’d advise tagging the writeblr url just bc it makes it easier to organize bc this is original work! so its nice to acknowledge who the creator is

“wip: [wip name]” - similar to the above, i tag the wip because it keeps things organized so if someone is passing through my blog and likes the look of a wip (that isn’t mine), they can click the tag and peruse all the things i’ve reblogged from that wip! and then maybe go through the actual writer’s blog :) (the same would go for tagging the writer themselves).

“not mine” - i’ve seen ppl do like “others work” that probs works better bc my search bar actually searches by words, so my *mine tag gets mixed up unless you click the tag itself ahaha. but usually ppl tag what’s reblogged work vs original work of their own to again, sort between. you don’t have to tho! obv this is all subjective.

so all that is what i tag for other ppl + other tags usually are just my general comments, me gushing about their writing, and other things. just thoughts! but those are the ones i def put on a reblog. below will be how i tag my own work:

“[wip full name]” + “[wip acronym]” (if applicable) - i like to tag both in case someone is only familiar with the full name and wants to search my blog, these would show up. for example: #the phoenix mark vs #tpm i do both because this way if ppl are more familiar with the wip they can just search tpm, or if they’re not, can use the full name to see what i have.

“[character name]” - this is a habit i brought over from my litblr tbh, i tag character names so that anything relevant (i.e. character intros, asks i answer about them, excerpts that only pertain to them) can be tagged and so if you only want to look through about one character, you can.

“[wip name] excerpt” - this is for when i post excerpts, so that you can find all the excerpts in one place vs seeing clutter like my textposts, my asks, or other nonsense that don’t always have the actual writing in it.

“cindy writes” + “*mine” - these two are just extra like “oh that’s my original stuff!” tags to gather everything that is mine under one tag (another practice i brought over from tagging my edits on litblr ahaha, but i think most ppl do this too on writeblr)

and then for asks i just do a really generic “answered” + “[url]” when i answer asks! obviously, these are all really subjective, you can pick and choose what you like and how you do it, but those are really general umbrella tags i think you can use/mirror to be able to group a lot of things you want together. if you look around other writeblrs, a lot of them do the same format but with their own quirk or tagging format! i do something super general bc i’m used to just tagging series straight without like wip: the phoenix mark for my own stuff, but i do so for others to keep it separate from my commentary tags!

I’m currently posting Here We Go Again, which is the sequel to There From The Start where Blaine is the 12th member of the OG New Directions in season one! It’s actually a fic I didn’t realize would end up being so close to my heart but like I finished it the other day and big oof I was a sad girl.

2. Where is your favorite place to write?

Since covid? My room lol

3. What is your favorite/least favorite part about writing?

My favorite part is coming up with the emotional scenes which usually just come to me in the form of dialogue! I’m a total slut for drama or the result of emotional buildup

Change of Heart by Jodi Picoult. I think this is one of my favorite books of all time. It’s so fucking beautiful and heartbreaking and I think I need to give it a re read tbh

Oof this is so fucking hard. I’m not gonna say change of heart just bc I already used that one, so... Sing You Home also by Jodi Picoult just... fucks me right up man. And it’s gay. AND ITS GAY WITH A HAPPY ENDING. AND ITS NOT FIC CAN U BELIEVE?

11. What are you planning to work on next?

I’m kind of nervous about my next project actually, because it’s not a type of story I’ve ever tackled before and idek how to summarize it without making it seem like it’s about something it’s not??? Idek I know I’m not making sense lmaooooo

Basically, it’s Kurt and Blaine adjusting to life after being reunited after 7 years. I actually finished the first chapter today! It’s going to be called Amidst the Chaos :) I’m very excited but also kind of nervous bc I also don’t have all of it entirely fleshed out but we’ll see what happens!

13. Describe your writing process

Bro. I have no process.

Jk, recently, I’ve been going to my room, turning off my lights, and turning on my instrumental music playlist (Schubert, my dude, you got me through the last few chapters of HWGA) other than that... I guess I make a rough outline and then sort of figure things out as I go???

17. What things (scenes/topics/character types) are you most comfortable writing?

Scenes: I love awkward/uncomfortable/funny situations. They are my CRACK

Topics: characters discussing their family and friends

Character: I could be wrong but I feel like I’m pretty good at writing Finn?

19. How do you cope with writer’s block?

Take a break. Go for a walk. Read something new. Read something old of mine that I liked. Work on one shots that I forgot about like they’re a pallet cleanser. Go back and try to write and nothing comes to me AGAIN. Force my self to take a break for REAL this time. Wash, rinse, repeat.

23. Most anticipated upcoming books?

I don’t think I read enough books anymore to answer this, but some of my friends are working on things that I am very VERY excited to read! (Yes Brit and Adri this is about y’all)

29. Is writing more of a hobby or do you write with the intention of getting published?

100% a hobby. Cheaper than therapy!

37. Do you ever write long handed or do you prefer to type everything?

Sometimes I do write on pen and paper! I feel like your brain works differently when that happens. Some of my best things have come from writing on pen and paper, I think.

41. Are there any books you feel have shaped you as a writer?

This is gonna sound stupid, but I think the Captain Underpants series had a huge impact on me... HEAR ME OUT: I love comedy, I love to laugh, I love to make other people laugh, and those books were some of the first books that had me CACKLING as a child and I was like “OH WORM?” So I make sure to keep most of my stories light with humor!

43. How do you deal with rejection?

Usually I just bitch about it in private with my friends 😂😂 but I like to think I take *constructive* criticism pretty well!

47. Single or dual/multi POV?

I think it really depends on the story, but overall dual/multi. It’s something I still struggle with on some scenes because I’m like I WANT EVERYBODY TO KNOW THIS CHARACTERS EXACT REACTION AND THOUGHTS but like it just ain’t their time to shine 😔

okay so the working titles have v different energies to me lol one is Oslasil and the other is Vanilla Pines/Paranormal Kids

💛: what is the title based on?

Oslasil is the name of the empire that the main characters are from in the trilogy!!! and i honestly have absolutely no idea what it’ll develop into bc its sort of about Oslasil but its mostly about Veridis and the royal family and politics and then i GAVE IT A SEQUEL LIKE A MADMAN and the sequel is even more convoluted and DOESNT EVEN TAKE PLACE IN OSLASIL but yeah it’s the empire lol

Vanilla Pines was my original working title bc i was listening to the song Vanilla Pines by Tow’rs while plotting and the aesthetic was just too good to pass up y’know??? bc this whole story is based on an extremely vivid and disturbing dream i once had (literally when i woke up i could feel my teeth and i thought there was blood on my hands and it was TERRIFYING) and the whole dream was like misty and foggy and dark and in all these natural areas and the trees were just so spooky!! and ponderosa pines smell like vanilla and grow in northern california where i’ve set the story so its just real good for the aesthetic!! the alternate title, Paranormal Kids, comes from bouncing ideas off @tennisxiu and her genius brain latching onto the phrase paranormal kids bc the mcs are ~16-18 yrs old and they get mixed up in some ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT that is entirely paranormal. and like. it just fits the plot really well whereas Vanilla Pines fits the aesthetic and i really enjoy hearing them together tbh

💖: are you planning on publishing it? if so, how?

hhhhhhhhh i would die if either of these got published but yes!!! i think both will end up as self-published books bc i have no clue how to work with agencies and i’m also real terrible at writing/editing on deadlines so i’m not sure i could handle the rigidity of set dates??? but i’d be ecstatic if either got picked up by an agency, esp Oslasil bc it’s a trilogy with a sequel series

💝: who has your favorite character arch? give a brief summary

oof okay this one is hard bc i tend to fall in love with my own characters which is BAD bc i play favorites!!!!! that said, i don’t think its even my main boys in Oslasil that have my favorite arcs??? in the og trilogy i honestly think Purtham has my favorite arc. like. he’s got a history and has lived his life already by the time the trilogy takes place, and he’s complex and has a life and a story to tell even after the trilogy is over!! also for the sequel trilogy i should say Eidel bc he’s one of the main two and i adore him but hear me out: Yve. he’s the older in a set of twins that study magic but while his sister Aury develops magical abilities, Yve doesn’t. and its really hard for him bc he thinks its gonna take his sister away from him and he won’t be able to protect her but even as much as he adores Aury he hates himself bc he feels ‘less than’. what he doesn’t know is that the whole twin telepathy thing they have is actually his own magic!! Yve is a Wanderer, a very rare type of magic user that can teleport and telepathy is a sort of astral projection for them. so. Yve. y’know?? he’s got a whole thing going for him that involves self acceptance and complicated feelings and all

NOW FOR VANILLA PINES/PARANORMAL KIDS

right off the bat (holy shit hang on just realized i was supposed to give a brief summary and i don’t think i really actually did that??? whatever its my post i do what i want lol) RIGHT OFF THE BAT i think of Wesley bc he’s my mc and he’s.... oof. i love him so much. Wes was raised fairly isolated- his parents are v rich and snobby- and went to private schools, and after an incident when he and friends are 10ish and one of them DIES (is murdered by a nasty supernatural entity) his parents send him to a boarding school. now, Wes has had ‘imaginary’ friends his entire life and he feels guilty after Milo bc his invisible hands, as he calls them, are the same energy as the thing that kills Milo. but when he’s 16/17ish Wes says FUCK IT and refuses to go back to the boarding school and insists to go to public school where he reunites with Morgan and Dwight and then the three of them get involved with the fucked shit in the woods again and at one point Wes is posessed/in a trance and he paints an entire wall of his bedroom to look like the forest in his dreams without knowing he did it. also this is set in the 90s and Wes isn’t sure he believes the millennium is gonna happen

(i also like the background arc of Olive Stringfield, Milo’s big sister. she’s a v interesting character)

URL - montevena is pretty sounding and is relevant to your WIP, so there’s really no way you can go wrong here. I guess the only “criticism” is that I wouldn’t know what montevena means if I didn’t know about Grave Mercy. 9/10

Theme - maybe it’s obvious by now that i like dark minimalist blogs, but I DO and there is no changing that. there’s something about those rounded corners on ur posts that really bumps up the aesthetic, you feel? What I really appreciate about this theme is that there’s a search bar!! having to type /search/search-terms into the URL bar is the WORST especially on mobile, and search bars could end our plight. but also im nicking a point bc its infinite scroll and that’s my worst enemy. 9/10

Content - i love your edits, ok. the text is also so clear and snappy. love the combos of reds, deep blacks and off white.ofc all your grave mercy content is top tier catholic/gothic aesthetic, especially for gore-y dark fantasy 10/10

Overall? 9.5/10

I do not have a wip folder, I could never dream of being that organised but I do have a bunch of documents on my laptop, ipad and phone so lets go!!

Full Steam Ahead - I think this is the first scorbus fic I attempted writing? It’s a dead girl walking/heathers au that I started probably early 2017! It is also awful which is why it’s never seen the light of day 

now that you’re close (I feel like coming undone) - OMG ok this was my first scorbus fic idea, I never got around to writing it which still saddens me to this day, but I think it came to me like november 2016?? It’s an au where draco and astoria leave the wizarding world and raise scorpius without telling him he’s a wizard, though he grows suspicious over the years and then cut to him meeting albus in a coffee shop at age 17, and they’re falling in love while both trying to hide the fact that they have magic! It had a whole bunch of subpots etc and It’s not something I think I could pull off realistically but I still hold it so close to my heart :’)

Rose Excerpt - a scene between Rose and Scorpius from a fic I was working on which has been adapted and since added to WHEM!!

The Karl Thing/Tubthumping/Turning Tables - ahhh the OG names I was fiddling with for WHEM!! (that make me die of cringe) These are three separate documents containing potential ideas and timelines for WHEM and its really interesting to see how basic it was supposed to be originally aka before these characters really came to life and attached themselves so wholeheartedly to me!!

wild heart, envious moon - notes on my phone for whenever I’m attacked with an idea or piece of dialogue or information about my characters away from home

Big Fight - it is a Big Fight between albus and scorpius that was written during the very early stages of whem, I don’t think it will feature in the final edit bc all my characters have changed so much and it doesn’t really fit them anymore

say it with your hands - a fic that I may still write where Albus goes mute when he’s overwhelmed and Scorpius learns sign language with him to help cope? requires a lot of research I have yet to do

my one and only (my lifeline) - I’ve already posted a fic with this title, but this is a different yolly fic I was working on and may or may not ever finish!! the other working titles included say my name and everything just stops and deep blue (you painted me golden)

Fearless - my ideas folder for my Karl fic containing his entire backstory and life leading up to 6th year

WHEM - my pride and joy!!!! the fic I’ve worked the hardest and longest on everrrr and hopefully the first multi-chapter fic I post!! Seriously it means the absolute world to me and I can’t wait to share it :DDD

timeline - the official timeline for whem, which I am working my way through atm and occasionally adjusting !!

a lil update from ur local animator

(what semi hiatus? more like active? hdskl;dgz ok but i will use my browser blocking extension to make me more productive bc now my client is like WHERE DE LOGO AT 👀and i’ve been so unproductive :))) ;_;)

i’m starting my super slow blog revamp/big to do list - this is mostly for my own reference but you can also read this if you feel like killing more time

theme will change to another one that has an updates bar (bc i have no lyfe and like to update peeps on the internet re: what projects i’m working on shhhh it gives me a false sense of importance lemme have this) - TBD

tags (for non-creation stuffs) will get a revamp too; in the past i’ve always used normal tags (but bc i LOVE dedicating brainpower to things that are not important) im gonna use silly tags for basically 80% of what i’ll post/reblog (i.e. connie’s tag is corny springs) - WIP

tags for creations may not go through as drastic of a change but there’ll probs be some re-organization and a few new tags - TBD

i have no idea how frequently i’ll post original content (i looked back and found that i did 8-14 posts per month but it varies). if all goes to plan and i stop wasting time scrolling on tumblo then i suppose the number of OG content can increase yayy (i actually have a lot of ideas for animation stuffs im just real indecisive and have procrastination tendencies sakldjgks;jg) - also i’m slowly moving away from static stuff bc i love animation

requests: i have one request to do the old SC uniform meta by anon and to do a tutorial for transparent edits (which i keep putting off sahkl;dgkg) by iva - i have no idea when i can get to these either but hopefully before season 3 of snk airs (i want to believeeee™) - TBD; but if there’s other stuffs you want to request (i have the most free time now, before i go to uni, so feel free to request stuff if you want)

design resources: i have some ideas of icons/phone backgrounds/textures i wanna make but my goblin brain being indecisive and unproductive as usual, it’ll probs take a while - TBD

fave ships/chars list: i starting making a list of my faves (bc cello was curious and also it’s good to have it as a reference i feel) - so if there’s any characters or ships you don’t like, you can blacklist accordingly - WIP

most of my creations are snk but i hope that’ll change so i can also make content for other fandoms i like and am invested in (i.e. atla/lok, fmab, bnha, psycho-pass, and a few others i can’t remember)

i’m co-organizing/modding a few fandom events with some great peeps - there’ll be periodic updates from those blogs and i’ll spread the word in the next few months

i’ll also be changing my about page - i’ll have a short version (which will be like “what this blog contains/read before you follow” kinda thing and a long version for a proper bio) - TBD

i’m considering making a separate tumblo account for my portfolio for non fandom work (to help me get in the habit of posting my work online) but i have no idea if that’s a good idea (like what if i mix up accounts/forget the password) and whether i should stick to behance (think emoji)

now my posts for original content will probs include a short rationale/my thots when i made the thing and since that’ll make the post longer, i’ll put it under a read more as to not spam u with words
