virgil was constantly looking at logan throughout the whole thing, just waiting for logan to finally notice what he actually made for him, and when he does, virgil looks like he’s holding back so much excitement.

mary loves “borrowing” james’ clothes and wearing them around him — usually his t-shirts or quidditch jerseys

james does that thing where you pick up your partner, spin them around, and kiss them when he sees mary

james loves hearing whatever new gossip mary has for him

they don’t have to be separated during the holidays because they live in the same town, so obviously they would sneak out (out the window) their homes to see the other (mary’s father is not particularly delighted by that)

she sits in his lap whenever she has the chance

he looks over the stands to find her during quidditch matches, and he always dedicates his goals to her

they ramble about their interests and relationships to the other all the time

mary practices makeup on james and she listens to him tell her all about the quidditch tactics he has prepared for the next match

study together in the library

go on hogsmeade dates whenever they have the occasion. mary’s favourite spot is madam puddifut’s, and james absolutely loves it, too (he loves the three broomsticks, too, but that’s not a date place in both of theirs’ opinions)

Dean swallows around the knot in his throat. What did he have to lose? If it didn’t work, he was gonna die anyway. If it did and Cas never wanted to speak to him again, at least he would be free of Naomi. He steels himself and huffs all the air out of his lungs before looking directly up into Cas’ eyes. The blue is clouded with something foreign, and Dean hates it. There was one card left in his hand to play. Anything for his angel.

There’s something beautifully tangible about the way that Kit and Jade cuddle in that little scene on the shattered sea. How well they communicate how good it feels to them. How they fit together, how close they feel, cuddled together like that, the way it’s Kit holding Jade, her knight, and how Jade looks, how relaxed, how blissful, just being held, eyes closed. Close enough for Kit to feel Jade’s breaths rumbling through her, deep and rhythmic. Jade’s head tucked under Kit’s chin. Her weight a reassuring comfort. Just enjoying the simple closeness
