💼 Inventory check! What items does your OC typically carry around with them? What do they carry them in?

Fleuris is a clothier, and takes great pride in having new and original pieces! As someone who doesn't fit the binary themself, he likes to make clothing for unique bodies, and was hired to make several pieces for Sectonia (or moreso threatened into it...)

She always has her trusty sketchbook and pencil in case she comes across something that inspires an outfit, as well as a measuring tape and clothing shears, just in case. I suppose he'd carry them in something like a tote bag... I think they'd have one of those bags that seem to be never ending and is full of all sorta of things for any conceivable situation, and somehow knows exactly where every object is at all times.

Rating: E Pairing: Female Shepard/Urdnot Wrex Summary: Still an ongoing WIP. This was supposed to be a very self-indulgent oneshot smut fic, and then it became three chapters and 20k words, and then I added more worldbuilding and leadup, and now I'm-- idk. Here? This is my first fanfic work in probably 15 years, and Mass Effect has me by the metaphorical balls as a diehard krogan simp. Basic premise is Shepard's life post-destroy ending is one of endless political posturing. Everyone wants a piece of her and it's shredding her already tattered soul. So she ends up seeking advice from an unlikely source, and decides to make a major life change. Spoiler alert: I don't see Wrex and Shepard as star-crossed lovers or anything like that (no love-at-first-sight stuff from me) and their friendship is very important to me; I think you should be friends with the people you love, personally. There will be nsfw stuff but them being friends is The Good Shit.

Rating: M Pairing: Karin Chawkas & Jeff “Joker” Moreau, Jeff “Joker” Moreau & Female Shepard Summary: It was supposed to be a simple patrol run, but life is never that simple. Follow Joker as he deals with the consequences of the Collectors attack on the Normandy SR1, and eventually finds a new beginning.

❝ How d'you think? ❞ he counters, voice low and matter-of-fact. When she reaches out to touch the skin on his cheekbone, he gently catches Rhiannon's wrist and lowers it ; his head shakes. The flowering purple reaches up to touch underneath his left eye. Above that, the white of his eye has become bright red. ( Perhaps he held a more hardened look in his eyes in the moment, where the pain originated, but ... not anymore. ) It's far from the first time she's seen him like this ( or worse ) in the span of their short lives — and far from the last. But he notices scratches and healing skin on her chin and jaw as well ( like they were bonded by blood ) .

John sighs and releases her wrist, stepping past her and away from the window so that he can sit down on her bed. For a second, his back remains curved, almost hunched, while he holds the edge of her bed and blinks the injured eye, wincing at the pain in his cheek ( payment for crimes not yet committed ) . He looks up at Rhiannon, hair falling across his forehead. ❝ Are your parents home? ❞ he asks, knowing it's a toss-up whether the answer is a ' yes ' or a ' no ' ( and he'll silently prepare himself to be stashed back into her closet if her father does, in fact, march up the stairs ) . ❝ I could use some ice. ❞ The words come out rough and he straightens his back lightly to sit up ; then he simply never stops going until his back is flat against her mattress. His eyes close, while his brows remain tense, and he rests a hand on his abdomen. ( Here ... maybe he can feel safe. )

Broke: Acknowledging that a character who is an objectively terrible person is also a complex and intentionally well thought out individual with different levels of nuance you can empathize with in some ways while not in others is immediately “woobifying” or “poor little meow meowifying” them.

Woke: “This character is a bad person” and “this character is still a person” are two statements that can, should and do coexist and admitting that they exhibit nuance and depth and are more than just their bad actions doesn’t immediately excuse or condone their bad actions or mean that you’re ignoring or trying to soften the canonical version of the character.

Bespoke: That’s the whole point, that’s always been the point, to be made to empathize with horrible people so you can understand that they can be anyone, that bad people can be likeable, can be interesting, can be human, are human, and it’s scary to think about all the ways they’re just like you and all the ways they’re just like everything you hate, forcing the use of critical skills in media analysis, forcing a confrontation of the duality of man.
