Just over 6 hours today!! Super good day. I got really motivated to keep going, and just kept on until my brain stopped being able to process things (it’s 1am 😵‍💫).

The software says im only 45% through unit 5, but they weight the different categories (lectures, MCQs, simulations) really weirdly, I think im closer to 75% through it. Tomorrow I’ll finish it, do review questions, and move on to F6!

Test is in 11 days, and i don’t know if ill be fully ready but i know im gonna give it my all, and im way more prepared than the last time!!!

Well it’s been a pleasure watching peak villainess with yall on a weekly basis. I’m gonna miss Rishe and Arnold so much, but onto the LN we go

Awesome finale, everything that makes this series great rolled into one. Rishe using Michel’s own logic against him and showing him that poison can indeed bring happiness in the form of fireworks was beautiful. The teacher becomes the student. Even though Michel had bad intentions these last couple eps, it’s a testament to how close he and Rishe were in that previous life that she still had nothing but love and adoration for him.

They really played with our expectations last week by making it look like Arnold completely rejected the tech sharing agreement with Coyolles. Turns out all of our fears were unfounded and Kyle’s got himself an ally. Thanks in no small part to Rishe’s negotiations. Little by little the future is definitely changing.

Rishe in her previous lives would’ve jumped at the chance to study under Michel, but right now her priority is learning more about Arnold and of course preventing the war. What’s crazy to think is that after 12 eps, we still don’t know much about him! Definitely a set up for reading the LN if I’ve ever seen one. So much about his motivations and backstory remains a secret.

Omg the ring scene was EVERYTHING. Rishe begging Arnold to put the ring on her finger, him getting down on one knee and asking for permission, raaaaah we won 😭. “I’m not holding my breath, I’ve simply forgotten how to breathe is all” 😩 she damn near turned as red as a tomato there. Without a doubt cutest girl of the season. Don’t think I’ve seen Arnold smile like that yet, and I don’t blame him. I would’ve folded and done anything she asked in that moment too.

VERY cute that the one thing Rishe asks for is to go on a trip with Arnold and see the things that he thinks are beautiful. If only she knew all she has to do is look in the mirror lol. Awesome finale I’m going to miss the two of them so much on Sundays, but thankfully the story is far from finished in the books.

So... It seems I'm at the last reading update... I actually didn't plan to cram so much into one post, but I got really into reading for a day or two, and then managed to get to the last 50ish pages and said fuck it. I'm not gonna say much except that I didn't expect for it to be that bloody, then at the end got so used to it that I had no other choice to just close the book and think to myself "Well. This happened." I will be writing a concise review as I do with each book I read, but I'm just gonna say I loved it very much. (This is, of course, a big understatement, but yeah... I'll gush about it in my review.) SPOILER WARNING! (Like always.)

Without further ado, my thoughts:

I might have been unbothered by the first two deaths, but I sure as hell am not ok after the end of Act 3. Was all that really necessary?? 😭😭

Yooo that scene when Gideon forces Harrow to siphon from her again is??? Hhhhhh... Made me feel a few things. Here's a graphic rendition:

I'm glad Harrow is banning Gideon from seeing Dulcinea. And the thing she mentions about the keys - she's right, it really doesn't make sense. It stuck out to me before, but I just forgot to comment on it. In any case, it's extremely suspicious. Protesilaus is also probably missing because of a distinct reason, related to his adept. Wouldn't be surprised if the Seventh is the one going around killing people.

Of course Silas turned out to be a little weasel. But at least Colum has some dignity.

Oh yeah, Corona is definitely not a necromancer.

Ok, but why am I not surprised that Harrow is the one who had her fingers in Protesilaus's disappearance? Honestly, she's the second most suspicious person in the mansion, but I love her, so I don't care.

HELLOOOOOOOO???? HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO????

First plot twist I have not expected. At all. I'm shooketh, as one might say.

Aww man. False alarm. >:( (This was about Gideon't claim that she murdered Harrow's parents.)

Oooh, but the big revelation was good! It was just a matter of time, so my reaction was more like "Ah! Finally!", than :O (Future me talking here: I'm not entirely sure what this is referring to? I'd guess it was about the Locked Tomb.)

Stuff just kept happening and people just kept dying. Didn't even get the chance to write it all out, and another one was on the floor. Anyway... WHAT THE FUCK.

Honestly, I thought stuff would get all tangled up and I would lose my footing, as I heard most people do. (Or will, in the next book.) So I'm just glad I could follow along quite nicely. It all made sense in the end, even the stuff about Dulcinea. I wasn't too surprised she's the culprit, I'm just surprised how she's the culprit.

PALAMEDES!!!! NOOOOOO!!!!!!

"I can't conceive of a universe without you in it." Again, Muir going straight for the jugular. I know she likes to kill off her characters, but she doesn't need to kill of her readers as well.

Ok, you know what. I knew there would be no happy ending. We all knew Harrow couldn't become Lyctor without Gideon dying. So, I am not surprised it happened. But I am also NOT OKAY.

Man, I love Harrow. I love her in the epilogue. I love her in the last chapter. I love how much she cares, how much she always cared. And I love how her relationship with Gideon evolved over time. Ugh. Uuughhh!

Ok, yeah... This was an experience. I'll be ordering Harrow soon and.... Yeah. I'm (not) prepared for more heartbreak.

just got home after the family celebrated father's day happy father's day to ur hubby and every father of ur followers and to all fathers in the world 🤣 i now finally have time to write this probably-going-to-be-incohesive-incoherent-review for lone blue egg.

AURKAY SO FIRST OF ALL. I love rana! we love rana! everybody loves rana!! everyones parents love rana! (in my delusional head, i think even jks mom would actually love her..) she's such a fresh character out of all the fics ive read. she's so quirky and sweet and kind in a way that it's not stuffy or annoying. she never seems like she's overdoing it for some kind of a front, but she's just that 😭 out of all ur ocs, i personally think she is the best one (except my favorite is still and will always be bella. always top 1. that's MOTHER!) idk she just brings so much happiness. i absolutely love how you wrote her 😭 meanwhile jk ... he is such a mess in this story 😭 i notice that's like an ongoing theme with your jks HAHAHAHAHA BUT! i think that's what made their pairing so good and why it worked. i love how jk is this someone who's afraid of spontaneity/go outside of the box but rana is this someone who just goes for everything that feels right. still a little afraid (we see that at how nervous she is with her art), but never too afraid to not try anything. i could go on about how perfect they are for each other but this would be too unnecessarily long 💀

Annnnddd that ending was Adorable with a capital A. i think it was the most perfect ending you could give the two 😖 i love how you made us see how they are as a couple and the seokjin thing was hilarious 🤣 (probably not so much for jk..) but one thing i love about it the most is that you left it for us to imagine how it's gonna be for them after jk's mom knew about their relationship. I LOVE LOVEEEEEEE how we can know exactly that jk is done seeking for his mom's approval and I love how there's no actual reconciliation? bcs his mother gave him so much issues and pain and just a lot of stepbacks growing up. id like to think jk talks to her after like 2 years or something just so they can each think of what the other really means to them. what it's like to actually Love each other. what went wrong. and what they could do right for future relationship.

ill miss this couple very much 😖😖😖 also, im really glad you gave me the opportunity to make the banner for a story that i love very much 😖

I'll miss them too but I'm very glad they'll still show up in some of the other stories, so we'll still get peeks into how they're doing 😉 . Probably especially Seokjin's story when I get to it. There's some uh stuff to resolve there lol.

Bellisis was definitely out of place for accusing trent who gave her no reason to doubt hence he was so taken a back and a bit snappy himself ! She let insecurities that have nothing to do with Trent get to her & then yes Trent did get a touch controlling and he’s always had a little edge of that like in the early days when he was pressed about her not speaking to other men. He wants her to include him in plans she’s making and she’s not used to that. They definitely need to iron things out. Bellisis is an independent girl she’s not having that you can’t do what you want thing 😭

Denise and Bellisis definitely needed that heart to heart and now they can have some better mum and daughter time in Madrid!

Aurelien is just shooting his shot 😂 she is stunning and she’s also a sweet girl. hello! this isn't going to be (quite) as ranty as previous chapter reviews so put away your asprin I'm just gonna fan over some simple things real quick!

chapter 180

first of all WOO 180 chapters that's so cool. also I'm so greatful for the length of the last few chapters, it makes me love bards story even more honestly since my emotions don't have a month gap. of course I'm sure it's temporary, but I'm enjoying it none the less!

anyways, im here to say that-

I sure missed bassy's atrocious morbid comments. end it bard.

i dont know whether to laugh or cry for this child. both is good

this is just really heckin awesome

and while we don't have father material for finny yet- we could for ciel :V but, while I know for sure that yana's gonna pull that thing where bard is being serious and dramatic, only to find out Sebastian has it all covered... I'm just really hoping he gets to save the day for once here and that has nothing to do with logic just pure emotions because look at this dad😭

and who knows, maybe he will somehow save the day? Sebastian could let him as part of a test(not to mention it's not above him to jeopardize his master's safety only for a moment). it still won't be the father moment we're all hoping for... but close enough.

on a final note, I found this page very interesting for two reasons.

one- because it shows us more about bards past life, as vague as it is. no wonder he was picked. I wonder who hired bard as a private warrior, why bard continued to come back... now that I think of it, meyrin didn't return to face her old master either. will this be important later somehow?... probably not but who knows.

I suppose that bard being a private warrior could help explain why the attack on his family was so brutal and determined. possibly.

two- why was Sebastian looking for Americans specifically? it may be an insignificant detail but it still peaks my interest. surely there are capable folk in Britain, or any other part of the world since I'm certain this was wasn't the only war going on at the time. though i suppose I don't know enough about that to draw a conclusion.

just saying, as an America, who would want us.

Charmed ep 14 review

After almost two seasons can we finally admit that the showrunners suck at their job? Yes, there are some good eps throughout the 2 seasons and some writers are good. But, overall, the plot is a mess. There are no main storylines, the villains come and go like they're nothing. So many things don't make sense. I love this new sl with Mel from the future, but I already know that nothing will come from it.

A few afterthoughts

Scientist Macy. I always love Macy's scientific brain.

Celeste. She could actually be a mentor for the tco since she knows almost everything about magic (because she's been a witch for hundred of years unlike someone else)

Ruby. How adorable it was that she was outside Mel's door waiting for her clue to come in?

Rupert is such a good actor!

Harry and Ruby's friendship ❤️

Harry's love for Mel!

That one look between Harry and Macy! The hangst.

Mel and future Mel 😍

Macy using her powers! I swear I don't really remember what Mel's power is! They should use them more frequently.

Alright just watched episode twelve of sk8 and I gotta say... It's cute as hell and I love it! I don't really care if there's no official confirmation about renga or matchablossom because I think it's there and that's all that matters. Just because it wasn't explicitly stated doesn't mean it's less valid. Besides that's where fanfictions come in.

BUT

What I'm kinda disappointed at is what they did to Adam or not did. I mean all that build up and what? No cops? I was expecting some to stop the beef but apparently not. But hey maybe we'll be getting a movie or season 2!

Is it just me or is Childe and Shiki Taisho really really REALLY similar? When Traveller asked Shiki Taisho what he would do if his master is evil is kinda like Childe. Ya know both are essentially weapons used by their masters? Is this foreshadowing? Are we gonna get another Childe related quest in future updates?

Anyway aside that God those combination of hydro slime and cryo slime is pure evil don't even get me started on cryo and hydro abyss mages together with Abyss lector. That shit made me cry.
