A very specific idea/scenario I have about Alastor's sleeping habits

He barely even sleeps in the first place. He sleeps like only a few hours a week, in one go. He locks himself up in his room once a week, sleeps for 4 hours straight and that's it. And since he doesn't sleep much, each time he does he falls into a deep slumber and it's absolutely impossible to wake him up he's straight up passed out until he gets fully recharged.

He does this because the idea of being in a vulnerable position where anyone could do anything to him while he's completely defenseless is too unsettling for him, so he sleeps as little as he can and always makes sure he's locked up first, away from everyone else's eyes.

HOWEVER, one time he's playing cards with the rest of the hotel, and because he got unconsciously so comfortable around them, he accidently falls asleep on the couch during the game. Everyone is shocked because they didn't even know he actually needed to sleep (they always hear him walk around the hotel humming at night like an absolute creep so they just all collectively assumed he didn't need to sleep).

Charlie panicks a little because nothing seems to wake him up, but he's still breathing and seems fine, eventually they all just let him sleep there and keep on going with their card games since the noise doesn't seem to bother him. Charlie even put a blanket on him, and Angel initially wants to draw something on his face as a prank but in the end everyone agrees not to try anything like this, because who knows how the radio demon would react,,, could be dangerous.

A few hours later Alastor finally wakes up, immediately understands what happened and plays it cool like "Oh dear, looks like I passed out, too bad I couldn't finish the game :) oopsie" but internally he's SCREAMING

I'm just gonna post some unfinished art here, I was gonna do some Halloween art but it's kind of late, so here was some costume ideas I was doing!

I was editing the cardboard cutout first to brainstorm, and I didn't finish Freddy's but! I always imagined the Fazbear company would go with simple designs since they're safe.

So Freddy is of course a vampire, its one of the most iconic Halloween costumes for their main mascot. Then Roxy I made a werewolf, she's got the jean shorts and the flannel crop, and is just more fluffier. Monty is a zombie because the company is lazy and he's already green! Just slap some cartoony brain stickers on him and change a few article of clothing. Then Chica is a candy witch, still pink and cute but she's got the Cupcake with her costume now. Plus the candy corn earrings are cute to me.

Another thing I wanted to do, that I still want to do is a Halloween countdown that I'll probably save for next year! Here's two of them, while the others were Monty and the kids watching a horror movie in the Daycare theater, then Chica handing out candy.

Then these were gonna be for Halloween day, but UH it's too late now. Still like the idea though, so another year!

Honestly I’d really like to make some kind of MLP AU or redesign/rewrite or whatever else of the sort because MLP was essentially my first fandom and it’s extremely nostalgic to me, but I’ve seen so many people do it already and have found myself physically incapable of producing something that isn’t blatantly copying what other people have done :/

#and yeah yeah I know that nothing in the world is truly original and everyone’s inspired by something #but I want to make smth that isn’t rehashing what I’ve already seen #and it’s hard bc redesigns and aus are kinda all the rage right now #and no I’m not talking about those infection aus bc while those are really cool and I’m not interested in making my own #I’m a really squeamish person. to the point I even avoid sick fics most of the time #so while I enjoy seeing a lot of those aus because I too had a creepypasta phase and it reminds me of cupcakes and rainbow factory vibe-wise #I’d probably throw up if I had to draw smth like that myself 😅 #anyway. what I meant is some kind of rewrite where I’d get to explore themes that interest me more #maybe dig a little deeper than the earlier seasons of the show could afford in certain places #like coming up with a clearer reason for aj’s parents’ deaths. for instance #and also making next gens is basically my modus operandi at this point so while I’m not really interested in making kids for the mane 6 #I’d like to redesign them + their families to get to play with genetics a little. #but again. I've been debating actually attempting to make an LMK AU, Which I think would be fun but I'm not too sure as making AUs are scary. (Especially when you think you'll make them too ooc) and your alone (and anti social + out of touch with talking to people) with no one to bounce ideas off of. Heh..... Anyway.

dispite my fear here's an idea I just came up with.

So instead of things starting like they did in the actual series MK runs into Macaque first, the staff not being pulled out for quite some time as these events happen prior to the show's first season.

So MK, Mei, and Tang go to see a play in the theater, this play happens to be Mac's Shadow Play only it's about an actual Adventure that Mac and Wukong had together (the story of the Warrior and Hero not happening till later). The story is done in a way that you'd have to know the both of them to realize it was about them.

After the show MK would loose his keychain and only realize on the way out. He would then proceed to tell the others to go ahead that he'd catch up with them in a little bit, he forgot to do something.

He goes back and frantically looks for his keychain only to find a small painted picture of a young snow colored, six eared Monkey and what looked like a young version of the Monkey King. Hearing a throat being cleared behind him he panics hiding the photo without thinking and turns around to Mac in a human form waring his hood. Mac would ask if this is what he was looking for and reveal he had found MK's keychain after thanking the man MK would ask about what inspired him to make the story, how it sounded like something the great Monkey King would partake in. Mac would humor MK by telling him another story about a chaotic hero and a loyal warrior who would of done anything for the hero. Implying that the hero might indeed be the Monkey King.

Before MK can ask any more questions he gets a call from Mei asking where he was and if he wanted to hit the arcade to which was enough to distract him. After saying goodbye and quickly leaving MK would later at the arcade realize he had the picture in his pocket.

MK starts going to the theatre alot and the mysterious man that says to call him "Mac" becomes a friend and mentor of sorts as MK(in this AU) takes an interest in the theater. Each time he goes to the theatre he has every intention on asking if the picture belongs to Mac but he always gets distracted until he just straight up forgets he had the picture to begin with.

I will definitely at some point, don't know when, think more about this, for now I'm just mustering the courage to unleash my silly AU idea thingy to the world. I wouldn't be surprised if somone else also thought of this.
