I'm bored, so I'm going to list the differences between the orv webnovel and webtoon that I remember (only up to chapter 71 (webnovel)/episode 64 (webtoon), because that's how far I've gotten).

1. The most obvious, the name changes! The webtoon doesn't use honorifics, the webtoons names are first name last name instead of last name first name, and some of the names are spelled differently (Example: Yoo Joonghyuk vs Junghyeok Yu).

2. In the webnovel, when Lee Jihye is asking about Yoo Jonghyuk and Kim Dokja's relationship, she asks, "Wait! How did you give birth to a child?" In the webtoon, she asks if they adopted a child.

3. Dokja brings up this joke later when the constellation 'King Heungmu the Great' (Kim Yushin) is possessing him and trying to force Dokja to be his incarnation by threatening to use his body to kill Yoo Sangah. Dokja tells the constellation that "If I give birth to a child, I will surely tell them what happened today." The webtoon does not do this. (For those who don't understand what Dokja is doing, he's saying that he will pass on the constellations story to his future kid. This is an attempt to appease the constellation).

4. After this, the Fourth Wall kicks the constellation out. In the webnovel, we learn that the Fourth Wall was killing the constellation and would have done so if he didn't flee. We do not learn this in the webtoon.

5. Sangah tied Dokja up with her threads when this was happening (I haven't been told what they're called yet, but they are the golden strings shown in the webtoon). He compliments her for it while she apologizes for doing it. In the webtoon, this is played as a joke. In the webnovel, this gives us a small look into how Dokja sees her (he had thought Sangah was frozen in surprise. When he realizes she wasn't, he thinks, "It was my mistake when I thought of her as an ordinary office worker").

6. Sometime in the webnovel, Dokja thinks about how he isn't worried about his mom (a small but arguably important hint about their relationship). In the webtoon, he thinks about how he is worried for her.

7. Both the webtoon and webnovel explain words. The webtoon explains more words than the webnovel does and also gives some background on things that the reader probably wouldn't know. (Also, I don't know if this is just my problem, but the links in the webnovel don't work for me).

8. This is an obvious one, but the webtoon tends to make more jokes than the webnovel (or they turn scenes into jokes when they weren't jokes before. Example: number 5 on this list).

9. In the webnovel, Dokja finds out that "[The character Min Jiwon shows a weak liking towards you]." He immediately understands that this means she is attracted to him and heavily denies that this is the case (in his head, not out loud). In the webtoon, it outright says, "[Character, Jiwon Min, is slightly attracted to you]."

10. In the story, we learn that Min Jiwon was also attracted to Yoo Jonghyuk in previous regression(s). In the webnovel, she slapped him when they first met and proceeded to help him on the rest of his journey. In the webtoon, Joonghyuk grabbed her by the collar, and she immediately fell for him.

11. In the webnovel, Min Jiwon's attraction to Dokja is mostly implied. The only reason we know for sure that she likes him is because Dokja recognizes that she does (because he's read the novel and knows the signs). In the webtoon, it is very obvious, and she is very tsundere about it (a smaller example for easy comparison: in the webtoon, she glares at Sangah when she's untying Dokja. In the same scene in the webnovel, she looks between them "with curious eyes").

And that's it! Well, I'm sure there's more, but I'm mostly working off of a not so good memory (don't worry, I double-checked to make sure I got everything right ;] ).

#I might be remembering incorrectly but I'm pretty sure Jung Heewon jokes more in the webtoon than in the webnovel #and it's also less obvious that she doesn't quite trust Dokja #someone tell me if I'm wrong or not #I did double check to make sure I got the differences right #but there's no way I'm going to scour 70 chapters to figure out if Heewon makes more jokes in the webtoon #that would be so hard to search for #this might just be a me thing but Dokja doesn't come across as cold-blooded in the webtoon #that's worded poorly #he does come across as cold-blooded #but not as much as he does in the webnovel #and I feel like the webtoon makes it more obvious that he cares #but that could just be me #orv #orv spoilers #my post #I wrote this because I saw a post where people were angry at Yoo Jonghyuk's mischaracterization #Apparently he smiles when Dokja dies #I haven't gotten to this part but #well #the webtoon already annoys me a little bit #I've mostly been brushing it off but that mischaracterization is huge #anyways #I'm probably going to make more of these as I get further into the story #only until I catch up to the end of the webtoon #I am not going to wait for years to finish this story #my motivation would die so fast #It's already not that great #but I'm commited! #I'm going to finish orv #I've heard the epilogue is rather soul crushing :]

if you're wondering what the big deal is about the louis-philippe sentence in les misérables, it is, in the original french, 760 words long. the subject of the sentence doesn't appear until 95% of the way through, at word #711; the main verb is word #712. the sentence contains 91 commas and 49 semicolons and is almost entirely a list of laudatory adjectival phrases describing the erstwhile king of france. this is perhaps especially notable because les mis is, shall we say, not known for being particularly gung-ho about the monarchy.

this sentence copied and pasted into Word takes up more than one page single-spaced. in the 1800-page folio classique edition, it is fully two and a half of those 1800 pages. that means that les mis is 0.14% this single sentence. more of les mis is made up of this sentence than earth's atmosphere is made up of carbon dioxide (0.04%). if the page count of les mis stayed the same but every sentence was the length of this one, les mis would consist of only 720 sentences total.

I absolutely LOVE the Squirtle/Wartortle illustrations by kantaro in Pokemon 151!

The Squirtle jumping so joyfully from the rock into the ocean, the colors are STUNNING! I love the contrast of the Squirtle's aqua blue framed in the vivid orange sky, the soft bit of blue reflecting in its shell and its tail just catching the sun, how little and squishy its body looks as it launches itself towards the water with such tremendous excitement!

The lineless style of the background gives me the feel of a travel poster and I sense the tropical environment around it from the rocks and trees framing the corners, the waterfall splashing with as much energy as the Squirtle!

The layered blues on the surface of the water and the bubbles rising at the corner make me FEEL the liquid rising to meet the Squirtle--I can just feel how the next moment it's going to break through and be immersed in a cool island swim!

And the Wartortle running along the sunset beach, this is somehow everything I always imagined for Wartortle! I adore the way the rich purple melts into the warm red/orange sky, the matching purple clouds and shadows in the foreground, and how the dimming sunlight glows red on Wartortle's deep blues!

I love how the yellow and orange of the sky illuminate the lapping waves, I can just feel the gentle motion of the sea at dusk. The aqua color of the ocean matches Wartortle's ears and tail and sets off the red-orange sand, I just love how the colors are here!

Wartortle looks so round and squishy, I love its happiness as it goes frolicking through the shallows, chasing the bubbles caught in the setting sun! The shine and deep shadow on its shell give it an almost jewel texture like real tortoise shell; I love the silhouetted splash Wartortle leaves as it goes running across the shore. It's so full of energy and delight at the end of a gorgeous day! The colors in these are SO vivid and harmonized and the style is so cute and bursting with energy and joy. I just LOVE it (also Squirtle is my starter)

He’s the best option.” “What do you mean the best option? God, Reggie, he’s literally the fucking worst—” “Stop it! I’ve had enough! And I won’t have you talking shit about my boyf—” “Don’t say it,” James spits, getting up from his seat with a threatening finger pointing at Regulus.
