In the middle of a THUNDERSTORM. #36 hrs later and I'm like aight this isn't great #After posting notices online etc I was sitting around and thought to myself something kinda dumb #See he likes listening to me play on their grand piano. They never use it but I do and the cat always lays at my feet while I jam #So I thought... what if I pied piper the cat home. I just wake up, and my mind come with and idea.

What if Steve had the amount of cats i have? Eleven of them. And, the cats help his crave for touch. Every night, since he can remember, he left his room, and goes to her mother’s one (His mom and dad “sleep” in different rooms.), an how her mother isn’t there (both parents left again) he sleep there, with all the cats around him.

The biggest one, a siamés, is sleeping on the pillow above steve head. Two in his chest, A black cat is just a common one, the other an “american” one. Another cat is sleeping across him, shoulder to shoulder, is black and white and he stretched until he can touch with the tip of his tail Steve right shoulder and with his paws his left. Two more are between steve legs, he makes a strange of “O” shape with them and in there two cats sleep. Against his right thighs, he have the second biggest cat, who is in a croissant shape and is always in watched of any move outside the room. Cuddling with another siamés in his right arm, Steve protect the small female there. On his left, he cuddle with two more cats, that they snuggle between both, stripes and orange fused, you can’t say where cat start and where the other ends. The last cat is on his feet, the older of all of them, sleeping in a loaf shape and watch for all of them.

A little representation of the position of the cats and his colors/races.

The Brown and Blue one are both Siameses. The first one is the bigger of all cats, the second, is female and the smaller of all. Bicho & Candy.

The three shade of Yellow, are the typical “American Cat”, the ones who have the “M” in the forehead. In order of position, from lighter to darker yellow: Gato Chico, Llorona and Allura.

The one in the shoulders, is black and white, the “stretchy” and “elastic one”. Felipe.

The purple one, is the minor of them all, a black cat with big green eyes, Tanjiro.

The red one is an orange cat, don’t treat yourself, is the sweetest cat of all of them. A little gentleman. Thor.

The pinky one, the light pink, is the older of the cats, a black kind of gray old cat, with yellow eyes, Violeta.

The green one, is a persa, a black fluffy and beautiful persa cat, with a yellowish and green eyes. Mota

And the last pink, the darker in the thigh’s, is a gray cat, the mean one, who hates everyone except Steve. Lady.

#really struggling today #my vet suspects my cat has FIP and I’m crushed since that’s basically a death sentence and he only just turned 5 :( #I know GS-441524 is somewhat available in Canada now but since it’s not FDA approved it’s like 8k #what’s worse is my family and I have a 2 week vacation scheduled on May 11 #so even though there’s this drug with a 90% success rate it’s just so incredibly expensive I doubt we could afford it #even if we did manage to get our hands on it we wouldn’t be able to administer it to him for those 2 weeks #and even though he’s doing somewhat ok at the moment who knows what his condition will be like during those 2 weeks :( #ultimately we’re trying to decide whether or not to put him down before our trip #like if he does have it and died alone and in pain while we were out of the country I would be crushed #but I’d also be crushed if we put him down when there’s the chance he doesn’t have it since FIP is so hard to diagnose #it’s the not knowing what’s going on that makes it worse #it’s so hard because he’s still so sweet and curious and has really been my rock since we got him I’m just absolutely beside myself #like the whole day yesterday he’s done nothing but cuddle me and my mom like he knows we’re upset but doesn’t know why #I just feel like I’m abandoning and failing him in his time of need #I desperately don’t want to go on this trip so I can spend more time with him and maybe scrounge up enough money to buy the drugs #and give him a fighting chance #but I can’t and I feel sick and trapped about it

If relationships like Onestar x Whitetail, Thornclaw x Blossomfal, Ferncloud x Dustpelt, stormtail x moonflower, and Pinestar x Leopardfoot ((and god knows what others im forgetting)) were one-off occurrances they wouldnt be so bad. But, especially after the Erin's piss poor writing/handling of the themes in Spottedleaf's heart, the decision to continue to write these kinds of relationships is UNQUESTIONABLY weird. The Erin's are no strangers to retcons. They had an unlimited amount of opprotunities to change Whitetail to a.) Not get together with Onestar b.) Not make her his apprentice or c.) Not have such a massive timeskip that we don't learn about Whitetail being Onestars apprentice and Onestar having the hots for her *in the same line* They could have done anything. The fact that they framed the relationship that way was a choice. I dont think the Erin's are trying, on purpose, to make Onestar's relalationship creepy. I don't think they are trying to make "Spottedleaf 2".

But I do think that this is reflective of the problem Wc's has had since the first series, these writers do not check their work and neither does their publishing company. Little mistakes like Greystripe claiming Mistyfoot and Stonefur as his own and Heavystep dying 3x over are funny but also exemplify this series biggest problem. Nobody on the team is paying attention to what theyre writing. Warrior Cats books seem to be written quickly and for series books they seem to be written 3 in advance. I assume this is the reason why the books are littered with so many errors and mistakes, the authors have tunnel vision and are writing the books to get to the conclusion as fast as possible without taking the time to really disect what theyre doing.

And just as the authors miss small mistakes like namedropping Mistlekit and never mentioning them again, they make big ones. I remember awhile ago an author responded to the criticism of Bramblestar being an abusive partner that she had literally no idea, and had always imagined him as being strong and noble. This is a very common theme in the Erins' response to criticism. They had no idea that Spottedleaf's heart sends the wrong message to groomed kids, they had no idea that the tribe cats were racist. They still have utterly no idea that Frecklewish going to the darkforest was wrong, and think that Onestar going to Starclan is right. They have no idea how sexist their writing is. They have no idea how abelist their writing is.

I think the writers are completely ignorant, to be honest. And honestly? After the way Vicky responded in her followup post on Spottedleaf's Heart? I dont think that they care. I dont think theyll change as long as fans still buy their books and their merch and promote their name. They dont seem to think it matters. The Erin's dont look at their biases and try to fix their writing because they dont think its important. They say they listen to criticism and change their actions but they dont. They never have. And if you are writing a book series for children, YOU CANT DO THAT!! Because kids are smart! And they will absorb the lessons you teach to them!! Can you imagine this criticism in another fandom?? How completely rancid it would be for just ONE of those kinds of plotlines to show up?? Were so desensitized to it! These books are in elementary school libraries!

As much as I love the worldbuilding of this series and its been a special interest of mine for a lot of years, i would never in my life recommend this book for children. The writers are just too irresponsible. They dont care at all.

there’s so much i wanna do this week/month/etc but i’m just too sick, i have no energy, i can’t sleep, i’m constantly nauseous and headachey and on the verge of a migraine, i’m stressed and irritable and impatient and panicky…….how tf did i survive nearly 5 years of high school untreated if i can’t even manage this when i don’t have any major obligations rn

#at least i finally got my meds so hopefully i feel a little better soon #although i’m now on 20 pills per day which is Just Great #whenever i’m in remission it’s nice to just. forget sometimes that this can happen at any time #kinda wish i had the typical kinda chronic illness that people talk about with ‘flares’ #or at least triggers that i can plan around #the other times have all had an easily identifiable stressor tho tbf. idk what caused this one #the first time was whooping cough and the next few were all very major life stressors like my cat dying right after i started uni #and i think also towards the end of my honours thesis? #but this…….there’s no major stress right now. nothing wildly beyond normal #i’m a little concerned about my joints tho. they’ve been so much worse than normal the last few months #so i’m kinda worried i’m developing rheumatoid arthritis (also an autoimmune disease and it runs in the family specifically) #so if that’s happening then it could set my thyroid off? probably should get to the doctor at some point #obv i’m seeing my endo for thyroid stuff. but i should see my gp and get her to run all the autoimmune blood tests again #i’ve done that before but it’s been a few years and my ankles and knees are so painful i can’t even walk properly a lot of the time #BUT I JUST WANNA DO THINGS I ENJOY AND I CANT AND I WILL CONTINUE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT IT #‘oh you’re so lucky you don’t have as many obligations because you’re chronically ill’ ha ha ha please swap lives with me immediately #personal #but seriously. i wasn’t diagnosed until i was nearly 17 and we can trace it back to whooping cough when i was 12 #so it was the last half of year 6 and then all of years 7-10 and the start of year 11 of just being. uh. ‘very lazy and complaining a lot’ #and TEACHERS joking about me and my sister (who was dealing with an arguably more severe undiagnosed disease) missing so many classes #wow so funny pdhpe teacher who’s supposed to be teaching is about health #and the thing with being a mentally ill teenager is that hyperthyroidism can just look like a very severe anxiety disorder #so i didn’t go to the dr until i was too sick to go to school at all. and luckily had a good dr who did a blood test #i’m just rambling now because i can’t sleep and i don’t wanna lie here doing nothing #might go play pvz or something. that’s been keeping me entertained
