Not in my AU she's not! For 2 reasons-

For 1, my AU is built from Mario games and media I personally know/am familiar with. I know a little bit about Mario sunshine and saw a comic where Delfino island was Daisy's vacation island. So I took that info and crafted it into my AU lore! My Daisy's kingdom is populated by Delfino's, and it sits along the coast nearby the Mushroom Kingdom.

The other reason is I only heard of what Sarasaland was like two days ago. I've never played any of the games its from and had no idea it existed. So I didn't add it to my AU and I definitely cant add it now-

But even if I did, I'd have the same problem. Why is Daisy the ruler of these little.. dancing.. skeleton.. guys..?? If she isn't one of them?

AAA THANK YOU SO MUCH!! :DD And yeah, that was Wendy and Roy! Though her exact reasoning for crying hasn't been fully thought out yet. I was thinking that she was having trouble putting on her make-up and ribbons.. maybe that was something the Koopalings mom would help her with before she.. well.. :( (Also, I do intend to finish/expand on that comic/idea very soon! :}} )

As for Iggy and Lemmy, they're not twins in my AU! Though they are close, they are very apart in age. I don't know what "older lore" you're talking about.. if you're referring to a game or a show, I have never seen it. :( All the Koopalings personalities and dynamics are just going to be made up/decided by me :)

As for their closeness, what brings them together is their eyes and their love for magic/Kamek.

I had this idea that Iggy was born blind, and Lemmy was born with a lazy eye/cross eyed. Kamek was able to use his magic to restore a fair bit of Iggy's sight and reposition Lemmy's eye. The result is their eyes and faces have unusual colors and patterns.. but they can see! And they are very thankful to Kamek for that.

Also that exposure to magic at such a young age has really drawn them into it.. they're both supposed to be really interested in magic and learning how to use it. Thus their closeness with each other and Kamek!

As for Luigi and the Poltergust, he doesn't ever get that. Since Mario is never captured by the Boos, why would he need it? And I haven't decided what to do with E.Gadd yet, if anything at all..

As for Mario and Bowser.. I was thinking that Mario kind'a just said that in the heat of the moment. But he would be willing to take him down permamntly if he ever showed his face again.. but right now Bowser is definitely not causing any more problems for a while.

Mario and Luigi scared the daylights outa him. The hero's of Legend are real, and they're here. Bowser is probably scrambling for means of defense atm and wouldn't dare send anyone over there to cause trouble.

As for the Chain Chomp.. even if Bowser wanted to release it and wreak havoc on the bros/the mushroom kingdom.. I don't think he could. Kamek was unable to control Petey Piranha and rein him back in when he escaped. What make's him think they'll have any control over the Chain Chomp if they release it? It'll probably just turn around and eat Bowser's castle instead- and once its out, how will they trap it again?

And oh yeah, they could beat it. All they'd need is 1 super star and the Chain Chomp would be flattened in a matter of seconds. ⭐💪

barb is one of my FAV trolls characters, and just right away i could see the sort of parallels between her and jd where they both honesty believe what they’re doing will end up being a net good for the people they’re trying to help, it’s just that barb cares less about what she has to destroy on her way to do it, because it’ll all be fine in the end when trollkind unites under rock- jd meanwhile is less aware he’s pushing his brothers but he also only sees one way ahead, much like barb’s strings plan

AND THE LONER KID + ELDEST SIBLING THING DOES HIT DIFFERENT i’ve been writing barb and jd with this sort of adopted sister-brother dynamic because there are a lot of barb scenes where she kinda drops her hard rocker facade (like the scene where thrash can’t remember the plan or the scene where barb talks about the pressure of being a queen) and like. she’s very clearly someone navigating adulthood all on her own and deep down she still feels like a scared little girl who wants to lash out at the other kingdoms before they can lash out at her first. she’s someone who could REALLY use a friend, and for jd, who clearly loves his brothers but went solo after the pressure of having to raise 4 little brothers by himself, clearly still has that brotherly love and instinct in him but like. with an adopted sister who’s in her early 20s there’s SO much less stress there. including the fact that she’s technically his boss!

it’s like. AUGH. they make such a fun duo and really care for each other but also they’re being absolutely enablers towards each other where they both nod and are like “everyone who’s raising criticism to us will simply stop raising criticism once i hit the benchmark i need to hit. once i achieve this specific thing, everything will be Perfect and nothing will be wrong anymore”

Just wanted to pop in and say that your art is so cool!! It's so-- SHAPES!! And I especially like how you draw McCoy, he's a favorite of mine and he has such a specific set of facial features that seems so hard to simplify, and yet you manage so well! I also saw your last ask, and as someone who was also intimidated by the sheer amount of content there is like you, just know that if you get invested you kinda just forget about it. I got into TNG first and that series alone looked like an enormous task to finish. Before I knew it I finished it and went on to watch DS9, and I already can't wait to see more. In general my tip is to go with the flow and see it as a hobby rather than something to achieve, because nobody is forcing you to watch EVERYTHING there is. You get there when you'll get there, y'know! It's a show about silly space people, have fun with it! (but with all the fan art you're drawing, I'm sure you already are hehe)

I don't know if i can say anything specific about the dynamic in my art, since I don't follow a one and only method of drawing cool and funny poses, but they do all have some things in common so I'll try to describe them as best I can!

basically what i do is focus on the silhouette of the pose and its shapes rather that the anatomy and "right" stuff. and i use liquify tool! like, A LOT this is the best thing that ever happened to me

here is a thingy that i made a while ago that describes one of my processes, hopefully it helps to understand what i mean ahaha

and uhh if its an old artwork of mine i like to liquify it before i start drawing a new and better and cooler version, like here!

and i also like to look at other artists art and get inspiration from theit artworks! sometimes i take poses from them and trying to adapt them my artstyle or to do smth with them rather then just mindlessly copying it

its kinda hard to describe the drawing process when you do stuff on a subconscious level but i hope it was a little bit useful for you!

i want to continue improving my gojo characterization, which is something that takes time... i'm okay with how it is right now, but i hope to add more nuance. i feel that some of the plot developments in gg will let me play around with that. the moral stance the MC has is rather idealistic at the start of the story, so we'll get to see how that holds up against gojo and geto's viewpoints (especially geto post star plasma arc).

gojo is going to help MC's expectations be more in line with reality and MC is going to challenge his ego some. unfortunately, MC's idealism won't be helping geto much. i want to flesh out why exactly geto underwent such a drastic shift a little more in-depth.

and i don't play on the story being poly, but it isn't much of a love triangle either?? gojo and geto are weird like that. if it was anyone else pining for MC, they'd be little fiends. the mutual respect they share in high school prevents this from being a point of contention. there isn't much jealousy. they're both kinda like "you've got nice taste."

this will change a liiiiiitttle bit for geto's villain arc. however, it's more so geto has some regrets about not being able to convince MC once he's an adult and y'know. has a fully developed prefrontal cortex going on. he feels bittersweet about the development of gojo and MC's romantic relationship.

They're my favorite ship in tekken aaa ! I rooting for them since I was 9 year old 😭 I was so curious about their 'mystery' connection , loving their dynamic and now in 2024 all of my question just been answer! ( not quite ? ) but I love their relationship so much , I would write a romance novel just for them! 😭

My thoughts about Kazujun in Tekken 8

Hear me out , I love the characters ending! The way kazuya talks about jun in his interview! They way they smile at each other . GAHHHH They're so cute!

However , I was dissapointed about the story mode a litttle bit eventhough I was screaming and Crying when 'walkthrough' the story mode .

I am a literature student so the story foundation and tekken lore are important to me .

But here's my opinion , I hate the way they only show Jin's struggle where we ALL know that Kazuya also trapped in his trauma eventhough he's like 50 year old man . That man still trapped in Heihachi shadow , He only see 'power' as his saviour and he's totally a slave for power because of his past trauma .

I want to see Kazuya's thoughts , Like bamco deep dive into his mind! Show his past , show his past with jun! This is where you can bring the element of contrats of the relationship between the 3 of them .

Don't get me wrong . I love Jin ! He's my top husbando in tekken but bro litsen , Kazuya also has his own struggle . Tekken 8 should show both of their struggles , They potray Kazuya as "HAHAHA EVIL , KILL ALL OF THEM" Yes I love when he act goofy but I also want to bamco shows his thoughts about his own struggle . Tiger & Bunny Week (Day 1)

Technically I'm late but uhhhhhhhhhhhhh

April 2: Favorite Character, Episode, Movie, and/or Song

Most people seem to be doing them all, but I'll be skipping movie since there's only 2 of them.

Favourite Character:

MY CRINGEFAIL SON IVAN!!!! I relate to him immensely, even his dynamic with Edward I'd say I can somewhat relate to with someone in my life. It's uncanny. He tries his best to be outgoing but anxiety and self esteem issues sure are fucking bitches, so he can only really do it behind a mask. Even in S2 whilst his whole outlook may have taken a bit of a rollback, that's honestly realistic, not everyone can just keep marching and continuously improving themselves, there are setbacks and holes you can fall into at times. I wish we knew more about his personal life beyond his backstory of getting bullied as a child + what vague stuff we have of his hero academy days, a lot of heroes suffer from this, however. His passion for his hobbies is also just like me. He's cringe but he is free, just like many of us wish to be. Runner up is Keith I love the Autistic dog man

Favourite Episode:

I gotta go with Sky's The Limit. The title is a very OH GEE WHOS FOCUS EPISODE IS THIS kind but genuinely it doesn't prepare you for the content. There's a wholeass lore drop, an intense fight scene with a robot, and of course Keith being Keith. It also puts into focus just how much pressure heroes are put under when it comes to the rankings, and second place apparently not being enough for Poseidon Line is a very corporate reality. It's go big or go home. The ending is also like OH MY GOD IM CRYING???? Like, we know Cis isn't very capable of behaving like a human, but Keith doesn't realise she's not human at all, he treats her as any other person and falls harder than an anvil for her despite their short time in contact. It makes me think that Cis had a potential to be something, someone more than she was initially made for. And these two are a bit of a guilty pleasure ship that me and like 2 other people in the west side seem to ship and yes I will be taking those "Keith is still lowkey in love with her even in S2 era" crumbs thank you-

Oh shit this is where it gets tricky. I have so many, so I'll split it into categories:

OP: Earth Diver ED: Pilot Character Song: GHHHAAAAAA DONT MAKE ME CHOOOOOSE Other supplementary Song: Orion Wo Nazoru Hero Cover

I can't really put to words for Earth Diver, but I really like how it starts and kinda soothes you into the song before it really kicks. The lyrics are also very passionately sung.

I really like the calmer tone of Pilot and even though the explicitness of the shippyness isn't as heavy as Aida, the subtlety honestly fits them more. The credits themselves are also just beautiful; the visual aspect of them hits immensely hard in ep 14 especially since you saw what could happen to their suits in the fight the episode prior, and they're both no longer in their prime. Closing it out as they stare at the sunset makes me emotional and Proud Fiesta I love you but goddamn why did you return for Episode 25 that was a fucking mood killer I stg.

I love a lot of the character songs, with the ones from Best Of Hero very enjoyable romps, especially Mikirezakura and Thanks and Thanks Again, the energy these two songs have makes you wanna coreograph something. Some other highlights are POWER OF JUSTICE and Aaa Hero Suit. (Also Hidden Heroism actually kinda sucks it tries to be Mikirezakura 2 and thus loses out on an identity of its own which is very disappointing).

I love the harmony of the heroes cover of Orion, I can really picture them all in recording booths singing next to each other...who's the cheering guy, though? I've listened to this cover so many times and the line the cheering guy seemingly sings just sounds like Hirata's Kotetsu, I don't get it. I get wanting to balance the lyrics between groups and characters evenly but that was an awkward way to do it.

And I felt like he really deserved some kind of salvation after everything I put him through.. Also it'll make for some interesting dynamics in the group! Looking at Seam and Jevil.. 👀👀

And yes! I always saw the other koopa kids- especially Ludwig- to be older than JR. Maybe its the bib-- and who knows! I tend to loop back around to old fandoms from time to time so I can see myself drawing the koopa kids again XDD

As for the Mario Movie,, shockingly enough I still haven't seen it. What can I say? I have some kind of problem upstairs I'm sure of it--

Its actually the 3rd option. Usually when I'm in some kind of fandom I prefer my own AUs as opposed to others AUs or even canon. :00

Yeah, both canon Jevil and Spamton would be pretty dangerous to have around XDD But out of the two I think original Spamton would be interesting.. 👀

Not really for the personality, because my Spamton's personality is actually a bit similar.. but more for the visual aspect. I headcannon that canon Spamton's body shrunk when he fell into an acid pool. My Spamton fell into an acid pool as well, but it didn't shrink him. It destroyed the structure of his body and elongated him. Making him much taller and extremely deformed..

Imagine the two of them standing side by side. Original Spam would be up to my Spams knee! <XD

As for what kind of monsters they'd face,, I'm actually unsure- I haven't played either game and I don't know any of the lore or characters.. so I'm not sure what kinds of dangers the real cookie run pirates face.. :( But what I DO know is that Blue Beauty is their main form of protection.

She's not exactly threatening to a lot of creatures I'd imagine.. She is just a Mer-whale. No teeth or stingers to make her more intimidating.. But what she is, is huge. And incredibly strong. She's a real power house and uses tools and weapons the crew taught her how to use to defend herself. And I imagine with her thick blubber, it takes a really deep wound to actually hurt her. So she doesn't fear getting a couple scratches here and there.

When it comes to the other cookies, most everyone stands up and fights. Only a select few retreat to the lower decks to protect their goods or hide. Those likely being Ellie, she's too old for this crap- and Coco and Red, though don't be fooled! Coco can fight! She's just retreating with Red in order to protect him. Everyone else though is up there duking it out with who ever dares cross their ship! ⚔⚔
