Maybe I'm exaggerating but… I think DR is the best case of "next generation" done right. Every time I see a media trying to do this for some reason there is a recurrence of disrespecting the previous generation, or shitting on previous characters in terms of writing to make the next generation look better. DR has none of that, and the way it integrates both old and new characters so that they still feel like part of the same (but now bigger) family is what makes it work for me.

Jay from Ninjago has an eyebrow notch. He doesn't not have an eyebrow notch and has always had an eyebrow notch. Nothing against normal eyebrows, but he has had an eyebrow notch for 6+ years. We all grew up with Jay with an eyebrow notch and why would we let them change his character for absolutely zero reason? The new writer should just create a new character without an eyebrow notch, not rewrite one of the best Lego characters in history. Sign this petition if you agree Jay should keep his eyebrow notch. Once we reach a good amount of people who have signed, I will stop using this copypasta I'm sorry I just couldn't resist doing it again

Nya from Ninjago is not a ninja. She has never been a ninja, and should never become a ninja. Nothing against women, but she has been the Samurai X for 5+ years. We all grew up with Nya and why would we let them change her for absolutely zero reason? The new writer should just create a new character that is a ninja, not rewrite one of the best lego characters in history. Sign this petition if you agree that Nya should stay as the Samurai X. Jay from Ninjago is not an agent. He has never been an agent, and should never become an agent. Nothing against the administration, but he has been a ninja for 10+ years. We all grew up with Jay and why would we let them change him for absolutely zero reason? The new writer should just create a new character that is an agent, not rewrite one of the best lego characters in history. Sign this petition if you agree that Jay should stay a ninja.
