I know you have been asking questions that I will now pick randomly and reply.
How was padel with Max?
Padel was nice, I organized a tournament on last Sunday and we found ourselves in the final. We were both in different groups. We won all of our matches. [...] But, I did win. 😈 So it was really fun. It was an amazing day because we regrouped with many other athletes from different sports, and it was an amazing day. And I was happy to win.
One is interested in the idea of Iruma slowly adapting to the demon world in mind and body. The language comes easier on his tongue and the environment is no longer menacing. His teeth get sharper, his magic flows more naturally and one day he spies the beginning of small wings and tail sprouting from his back. He assimilates and embraces his newfound demonhood.
The other is intrigued by the idea of Iruma settling in the demon, eventually ruling it while remaining unabashedly human. Its customs, while familiar, always feel strange. He uses his human traits, both those advantageous and not, to force his way to the very top. The reason no one ascended the throne of the demon king in hundreds of years in none of them had that inate human grit to overcome hardship.
just watched the 2023 vegas gp and holy shit it might be one of my fave races ever?
like charles staying in the top 3 essentially the whole time, being race leader for like 20 laps AND stealing p2 at the last minute - also doing it as a one stop like the tyre whispering legend he is.
max serving a 5 second penalty being stuck below podium places for so long, losing part of his car AND still coming first, absolutely legendary
also like shoutout to george who raced an amazing race (like he got fucked with his penalty but had that not happened he genuinely did amazing)
mostly joking toh theory: amity and emira are both trans girls, and the fact that they got to choose their names themselves is the only reason why neither of them ended up getting named "odalia jr."
if you're writing a charles fic, it must have some aspect of boyking. he must lean a little on the childgod side. he has to be revered a little bit, adored even. if people aren't talking about him like they wouldn't wash his feet and adorn it with perfume like mary magdalene washed and adorned jesus' feet, you're doing it wrong.
i will say again and again how DELIGHTED i am that priya won. but i am also delighted that she and bowie made it to the finale together. about halfway through my initial watch of the season i just kinda went “oh it has to be them in the final two. it HAS to be” and for once in my life total drama agreed!! because it couldn’t be anyone else it HAD to be them!! and it was!!
Alright, maybe even... good. He's a good boy and a good husband. I'll give him that. I'm glad he and Albina have each other, despite their ideological differences.
I imagine that Head Researcher/Doctor Brennan would have a very clinical approach when explaining reproduction, but it's funnier to imagine her getting flustered about trying to talk about where babies come from with little child soldier Henry.
Speaking of Brennan... She's having a rough day, enduring her second breakup of the playthrough. This one is worse than the first time, I think, because it was her wife who left her, and not just her lover like it was when Albina broke up with her.
Tamarind is Brennan's closest friend, so she'll probably end up being the shoulder to cry on for a little while.
I do love that "ate meat" is the straw that broke the camel's back, though.
At long last, we are embarking on a quest to acquire an AI Persona Core! It's the last piece we need to construct our ship, and we're sending four of our newest recruits to get it because I don't care if they don't make it back so that they can prove themselves!
Kelorul may be ugly and psychically dull, but without him, this mission would have failed for sure.
That megasloth was the real hero, though. It soaked up all the fire from the turrets so that Kelorul and Gracie could duck in to smash up the batteries and solar panels (which did result in a couple of explosions and burns, but they'll live). Then the way was clear for Grump and Hot Minute to charge in and take down the Yttakin!
Now they're slowly making their way back to Eureka with the last puzzle piece to complete our ship! The end of this playthrough is swiftly approaching, which is exciting and very sad at the same time.
