Do you think there could've been any way for Sero, Kirishima, Sato, Mina, and Kaminari to have passed their exams against the teachers?

I certainly think there are ways they could have won. While the odds were stacked against the students by targeting their weaknesses, there are potential plans they could have pulled off to get the win. For the sake of this, I'm throwing in Mineta as well and talk about how he and Sero could have won their match.

Sero and Mineta: While this fight was more to exploit the character flaws of the two, there are some strategic problems as well. Because they simply stood around, it allowed Midnight to pounce on them and establish a massive sphere of influence. If they wanted to win, the two should have done everything they could to avoid that situation by using their unique forms of mobility to work around her. Heck, they could have used their mobility in tandem with each other, like Tokoyami and Tsuyu did. Otherwise, one of Sero's better options would be to tie up Midnight with his tape. Because Midnight needs to tear away at her body suit in order to utilize her sleep gas, the tape could prevent her from spreading it any further given how hard it is to move.

Mina and Kaminari: I think that Mina had the right idea of trying to use her power in order to escape Nezu, not playing into his plans by making their own way out, but I'm not sure how well that'd work in the long term given Mina's issues with acid production. Ironically, beating one of the smartest characters in the series required one of the simplest solutions possible: going nuts with their powers. Nezu relied heavily on his equipment and used what was on the battlefield. By destroying the terrain that Nezu is utilizing and possibly disabling the crane that he had by either melting part of it or overloading it with electricity, it makes it far easier for the two to move around unimpeded. Though maybe both of these together would have been the key to victory.

Kirishima and Sato: The ways these two could have won are so obvious that it's honestly frustrating to think about. Kirishima and Sato could have easily gone around the main path. Even if you ignore all the other ways that it wasn't a straight line towards Cementoss, they could have scaled the buildings or jumped around the barriers. The two have shown before that they are capable of some great jumping. They could have tried throwing something, as they had plenty of debris and a clear shot at Cementoss. Barring all of that, Sato should have just thrown Kirishima at Cementoss. It may sound silly, but it works around Cementoss' poor close-quarters abilities by taking the fight to him and smashing through whatever defenses he brings up.

I love bnha because the superpowers are so intricate and unique every time. Even repeated quirks like Kirishima and TetsuTetsu are different (Kiri has to flex to use his quirk, TetsuTetsu has to eat a lot of iron to use his) and the quirks that don't have their exact mechanics listed are still fun because we can theorize on what they are (ex: Aizawa. Does he have an antigravity field around him when he uses his quirk? Static electricity? Does his hair physical stand up?) and, frankly, I wish more superhero shows would take this approach

So you’ve done a lot of quirks about what quirks would all for one want from various groups, so I was wondering assuming he successfully managed to get all of them what kind of combinations do you think he could use along side the other quirks he has. (To save you some trouble, here are the ones I found: Anivoice, Hardening, Explosion, Twin Impact, Black, Poltergeist, Gyrate, Clones, Cement, Barrier, Sloshed, Incite, Compress, Magnetism, Telepath, Lock Down, Earthflow)

Thank you, that was very considerate of your to do. Obviously, this is a lot of Quirks and combinations to consider. I'm going to try and cover what I believe are the most interesting combinations.

Impact Recoil+Twin Impact: Probably the simplest combination here, but arguably the most affective one, massively increasing the power and control they have of any kinetic impact that hits them.

Warping+Clones: Combing the two goos, he could have the clones at as allies for their warping affect, either using it teleport the clones or around himself around each other for a tactical advantage.

Rivet Stab+Barrier: Rather then something to improve the power of "Rivet Stab", he could combine these to extend the range of the barriers, either in sheer scope or using the rivets to apply it to specific targets.

Air Cannon+Compress: Instead of using it to compress and store objects, he could have these two work together to compress the air itself, leading to far more dangerous and varied explosive air attacks.

Radio Waves+Telepath: This could combine together to have him be able to directly communicate through electronics, using it to confuse people with false information and talk to people with electronics.

Lock Down+Earth Flow: These two are good control options in their own right would be greater together, turning the battlefield into a bizarre mess of earth that becomes an impenetrable wall, becoming a total labyrinth of harden walls and traps.

Gyrate+Magnetism: Instead of merely spinning, his body could act as a giant magnet, either violently pushing or pulling himself or various metals around depending on what parts are spinning, how they are spinning, and how much they spin.

Sloshed+Poltergeist: I would be interesting to have the control of objects mixed with the disorientation effect to have it affect the objects around it, working to dismantle and take apart things to make a chaotic mess of enemies and the battlefield.

Incite+Anivoice: While I could see someone trying to spin this as controlling people, I believe that more likely result would be enhancing the animals under his control, turning random animals into dangerous, mutated minions under his control.

Black+Cement: I like the idea of this combining into an ability that lets the user merging into concrete, becoming capable of moving, and controlling concrete, having much greater scope of movement. Think something like Pica from One Piece.

I hate seeing people romanticize hardening, especially when it comes to women. There is value and beauty to be found there, but it’s ultimately a survival skill, and it does more harm than good in the long run. Hardness is not something to valorize or aspire towards. People become hard through pain and extreme repression.

A hardened person is someone who turns away from and shuts down parts of herself—empathy, vulnerability, unrefinement, “softness”—that other people have exploited and used against her. This makes connecting with other, less hardened people much more difficult. Someone will inevitably poke a sore spot or remind her of something she’s chosen to ignore, and she will hate that. If she’s less mature and self-aware, she’ll bully that person for their lack of hardening—out of jealousy that they haven’t had to develop the survival skills she has; care for their safety, of which she believes hardening to be a crucial component; anger at seeing her shame reflected in another person; etc.

Hardening gives the illusion of protecting oneself from further damage, but hardening itself is damaging. When a person chooses to harden, she chooses not to let anyone touch—or even acknowledge—her wounds, her shame. This choice stunts her. She defends herself better against a curious, well-intentioned friend or lover than someone looking to exploit or harm her. Her fear of people hurting her when they get too close is reinforced when the only people to touch her wounds are those who ignore her boundaries and those she’s too afraid to tell “no.”

What’s truly beautiful is watching a hardened person relax. Not just for a moment during sex, as is often romanticized, but as a person, gradually over time. When someone learns to lean into healthy love, put her trust in those who’ve earned it, allows her loved ones to see the parts of herself she normally keeps hidden, cultivates self respect, and maintains her dignity by using her strong boundary-setting skills with exploitative and unkind people… that’s what we should celebrate.

Cracking a Window; I Feel Better

Why did my mom have to be right on so much more than I thought? Sure she was, decisively-wrong on more things than I can count, but the wisdom was right. Sunlight does make me feel better. I should listen to the people with the same blood as me as to what would relieve anxiety.

It was hard to, for a while. I wrote them off. They’re gambling-addicts, smokers and former-alcoholics. I thought that there wasn’t any value to be gleaned, culturally, from that. It was within those flawed habits that sprung necessary nuggets of both need, and clarity, into something that I would eventually disregard.

That’s okay, though, because I’m listening now, and they still like me. It’s important to cinch life by that chance if you have supportive parents that you’ve somehow pushed away. I had to let my mom see me in a not-so-great light in order to get the respect that I have from her, now.

Of course it took a lot of apologizing because when you have emotional people in your family, telling them the truth can and will usually upset them. Typical ‘do no wrong’ parenting, where they think that the best of intentions means that they did perfectly.

You forget things, as a parent. They definitely forgot to check to see if their kid was enjoying his life until he learned what the word “depression” was, and could communicate aptly for the first time, what lived inside his head. They definitely forgot to make sure that the depression didn’t turn into apathy and hierarchal misanthropy.

It is what it is, right? We put walls up to defend ourselves but we wish we didn’t have to. The hardest of men would be the softest if society allowed.

Society does not allow, because it manipulates, and tells these people that they would be better off defending a country, joining the military, or just doing some otherwise-candidly-tough-dude-stuff. I’m not a candidly-tough-dude, but I am a nontraditionally-tough-dude.

I’ve realized that I cycle out emotions as they come in. As someone makes me feel something, I feel it in front of them, or reverse it and try to return-to-sender, so that I don’t carry it home with me. If it’s unacceptably-bad and I need to take it with me, that’s when I leave it here, among other pieces of crumpled-up bar napkins and loose-leaf sheets of 3-holed paper. What a bullshit industry.

I feel better, though. This feels like a start to something great, an opportunity, hidden in the betrayal of a friend, to go back to my roots and start healthier, and happier, and to see if I can’t get a grip on my own life with the help of the only people whom I actually believe have the best of intentions, for once.

As for the parents, themselves? Well, I don’t blame them, that’s the most vanity-ridden mindset I think I could possibly achieve, but I want to say it’s a good stepping stone to finding out why I am the way that I am. Why do I feel so different to other people? Why do I feel so out of place everywhere I go? Why do I feel like an alien?

It doesn’t matter, just go to work and toughen up and don’t think about it until you’re dead. That’s the way. It’s the way of my father, and the way of my father’s father. 

Until the day we die, crystalize.

 Induction Hardening VS Case Hardening

Comparing the two methods of quenching steel workpieces, the first significant difference is part handling. Surface hardening can process a large number of workpieces at the same time, while induction hardening focuses on a single workpiece. Through induction hardening, the parts are quenched one by one.

 Case hardening relies on parts logistics to transport parts between the production line and hardening. Induction hardening can be directly integrated into the production line as part of the cycle with a suitable hardening machine.

 Case hardening in detail

 As mentioned above, surface hardening is carried out in batches. As with induction hardening, the goal is to harden the outer layer of the workpiece.

 In the case of quenching, the workpiece is hardened by carburizing. The steel is heated above 880°C to become austenite. The coal is then transferred from the CO emission medium to the part through the surface of the part. Diffusion causes the edges of the workpiece to receive more carbon, while the carbon density in the center remains the same.

 There are two ways to influence the depth of hardening in surface hardening: one is to manipulate the heating of the workpiece, for example, by using a special paste to prevent certain places from being heated. The other is by influencing the quenching process, for example by immersing only certain parts of the workpiece.

 Using these two methods, the results are not particularly accurate, and can only be reproduced within a relatively wide tolerance range. This is very different from induction hardening.

 Induction hardening in detail

 As mentioned above, each part is individually quenched using induction hardening technology. Each part is heat treated, quenched and annealed separately. In addition to being integrated into the production line, the great advantage of induction hardening is the precise control and reproducibility of the quenching results. In order to achieve this, the entire hardening process from the inductor and the applied energy and frequency to quenching and annealing has been specifically adjusted for the relevant workpiece. Even for workpieces with complex geometries, this can produce excellent quenching results.

 Which Hardening Method is Better?

Which hardening process is suitable for the application depends on many factors. Both case hardening and induction hardening methods have their own advantages and disadvantages. However, for the mass production of medium or high-volume parts, induction hardening provides a series of benefits:
