Eddie and Max as Neighbors

I feel like Eddie and Max being neighbors had so much potential.

Imagine watching them grow closer like siblings :(

- Eddie purposely cooking too much so that he could have leftovers to give her in case she hadn’t eaten anything (but being nonchalant/cool about it, like “I cooked too many noodles and if you don’t eat them they’re going in the garbage”)

- They could easily walk across the street but they almost consistently just call each other’s house phones (”It’s gonna be 102 outside today. I have popsicles if you want any.” “for the love of GOD turn off whatever the hell it is you’re playing”...the sheer amount of prank calls this poor boy would receive on a weekly basis, too)

- Max asking Eddie if he wants to see any new skateboard tricks she taught herself (he always acts annoyed by it but he secretly he thinks its sweet)

- Eddie being the first person Max calls when she gets into trouble or needs help (especially if it is something she knows Steve will stress about)

- Eddie checking to make sure Max is home before going to sleep

- Eddie being bummed/jealous that Steve is the “older brother/babysitter” figure, so he is always overly eager to help when the kids ask him for anything

- Eddie being absolutely determined for Max to listen to metal (and Max switching out his cassettes for girly pop and absolutely crying with laughter when he goes to turn on his stereo/van and “Like A Virgin” is blasting from the speakers).

- They give each other christmas and birthday gifts but they are purposely really shitty gifts because it’s kind of an inside joke (”here’s a 25 cent mug I found at the thrift store that says Groovy Grandma”, “here’s an opened pack of little trees air fresheners and pair of sunglasses from CVS”) Eddie always gets her a better gift, too, but he gives it to her mom and tells her to say it’s from her so that Max won’t feel pressured to get Eddie anything nice in return

- Max plays it cool but she really looks up to Eddie and values his opinion (she is constantly seeking validation from him, even if she pretends she’s not. “not that I care what you think, but....”)

- Max puts Eddie as her emergency contact for her first job

- Eddie and Max referring to each other as “brother” and “sister” around everyone except each other (”sorry about the skateboard in the middle of the driveway, that’s my sister’s”, “my brother can come pick us up if it starts raining”)

- Eddie overhearing Max refer to him as her brother and he’s stupidly happy about it and even brags to Steve.

Imagining Eddie stepping up and being the brother / parental figure Max needed in S4 literally just kills me.

If someone were to ask Percy what his mental picture of a big sister figure was, he would answer with one name.

Cassidy Mercury.

He didn't meet her officially until he was in his second year, when Bill and Charlie introduced him to their friend. She was a new prefect, like Charlie, and she was probably the prettiest girl he had ever seen.

Her hair was styled in a short haircut with parted bangs and golden like sunshine. The eyes were green as ripe pears and her skin was fair, decorated with a calm yet reassuring smile.

There was just something about her that kept his nerves calm, as if she was telling him "everything will be alright because I am here" in a non-verbal way. And the first thing she had said when he told his name and his life ambitions in one go was...

"Sounds like you have your whole life planned out."

No teasing or mocking, like his brothers tended to do. No laughing at his extremely high standards of a successful life. No, she listened and respected him. That was the first thing that won him over.

Secondly, she proved to be an excellent and talented student. Cassidy was really good at academics and as he later found out, one of the best Chasers on the Gryffindor Quidditch team.

He had originally come to see Charlie, and his dorm mate Oliver Wood, play on the first Quidditch match of the year. He had already known that Charlie was a great Seeker and Oliver was a raw talent as a Keeper, but Cassidy...

She was magnificent in the air, flying on her Comet and stealing the Quaffle with ease, evading her opponents like how a fly avoids being hit by a slipper and making goals with a strong left arm. And how the stands filled with Gryffindors screamed in loud cheers for her.

Charlie may be the Quidditch Captain, but Cassidy Mercury was their star! Even when Oliver was down, getting hit in the head by a Bludger (and nearly gave him a heart attack!), Cassidy became their savior by making so many goals and with Charlie catching the Snitch, earning them 150 points more...they had saved the match.

It has been a long time since Percy believed in heroes. Yes, he knew there were war heroes from the War, but he didn't know them and in his simple opinion, heroes was something that belonged in fairy tales or fictional stories.

But when the school was in danger by the Cursed Vaults...when students and even school staff were being attack by these curses...when Rakepick proved to be a Dark witch and especially, when his life was at mortal danger...

Cassidy Mercury was there to save the day.

She was his hero.

for context ( and actually because i got an anon once who wanted to know whether i drink energy drinks ), i don't really know that much about energy drinks/flavors because i don't really drink energy drinks.

i mean okay, i'm not really sure if it counts as an energy drink, but i will chug a guayaki yerba mate like it is the elixir of life. ( also i fully maintain that pep stan drinks the enlightenment flavor and ravenstan drinks the raspberry one -- crunchy eco kings ) my favorite one is the passion terrere one. it's like the only one that doesn't come in a can and only comes in a glass bottle...that ice cold passion terrere mate in the glass...it hits so different than the can...oh my god. so good.

and as far as monsters go, i pretty much only drink pipeline punch bc i'm a pretty pink princess and that's what hot girls drink <3 but other than that i drink black coffee because i am an exhausted teacher girlie, but that's purely for fuel. to be honest, i rarely drink energy drinks just for fun, i only have caffeine to stay upright.

which isn't a great idea...but...i am not a role model....

speaking of:

so i told riley this story the other day, bc i needed to get her brilliant genius girl insight on energy drink flavors because she is the sugar free energy queen ( riley's answer was kyle x ultra strawberry dreams and stan x ultra mango fiesta, which, everyone say thank u riley <3 )

but!! BUUUUTTT! just for You, baby. i deep dived a lot of forums and read a lot about the flavor profiles and think...i made a pretty accurate assertion of what my kid's energy drink preferences are <3

stan the man with the plan: okay, so i think that pep stan is definitely that ultra paradise monster energy. it just seems really crisp, clean, earthy. stan also doesn't really care for sweets or sugar, so it makes sense to me that he would be drinking a zero sugar monster ( kyle is disgusted ) idk the kiwi, lime, cucumber flavor profile just feels like pep stan. please tell me you can see the vision, help.

kyle pile: hmmm...so what i've concluded with my research is that kyle pile probably likes that pacific pipeline monster that seems to taste like fruit punch <3 it has to be the full sugar ones because of his blood sugar and stan does kind of scold kyle for drinking them bc he's not really supposed to and he gets really cracked out ahdslkshd like he's really cute but stan is like oh my god bro you gotta lay down but yeah i think that one or the orange dreamsicle one, which is hilarious because the only foods stmwtp canonically does not like are pickles and artifical orange flavoring...he really loves kp.

raven: soooooo i know that i said pep stan was the mango loco monster energy, BUT RAVENSTAN IS LITERALLY THE MANGO LOCO MONSTER ENERGY LIKE HELLO??? also i feel like he is like those mexican dads that put a little tajin in whatever they're eating and act like they've invented fire heeeeeelp ravenstan is so the dad that cuts u up fruit into little shapes and pus tajin on them and feeds u them when ur sad <333 luv u raven ;-; <3 but yeah i feel like he full on turns it into a raspado its so unserious sometimes theres a shot in there, it's usually the spicy tamarind smirnoff vodka,

jersey: oooookaaaaay. so...sigh. for Obvious Reasons, pre and during rm, because of kyle's ed, he only drinks the sugar free monsters. for energy because he's exhausted ( my baby </3 ) but i also do think he thinks they taste good. i think he fucks with that ultra watermelon flavor that just tastes like the most beautiful, delectable, mouth watering liquid watermelon candy ever. i also think he could rock with the strawberry or the peach one sounds dank.

if the watermelon one isn't there it does stress him out, but he has a mental list of what one is next on the tier list, and acts accordingly. its kind of a nice change of pace but...his brain does not think that. however, when kyle is healing, weirdly enough, i think he ACTUALLY LIKES???? those coffee flavored ones??? which is Insane and everyone including tweek points and laughs at him

i hope...that suffices? you're totally welcome to offer me what you think is the right answer: you're the monster expert, after all. but this is what i feel in my heart! i think it feels accurate but, lmk! :')

and also...speaking of my job. UUUUUUGH. thank you baby. :((( i am actually criminally depressed because my fucking HOE-WORKER fucking extended his vacation ONE MORE WEEK! so i have to cover all his shifts for an extra week while he's on vacation. so that means i don't get to watch my testing accommodation kids who i miss very much, i still don't get his kinder reccess shift and literally??? spring break is next week like he couldn't WAIT???? holy fuck i'm Sad. :(

I woke up today and my dad was alive and well. Perfectly healthy. At work. Helping me prep for my wedding and enjoying the Nintendo switch we got him for his birthday last month.

How do you think Sceptile would react if Trip's Serperior suddenly got attracted to Ash's Serperior?

I can see trip's serperior being an issue long before ash's serperior is even a Servine. after Snivy beats him in "A Rival Battle for Club Champ" (I think that's the episode? I'm not too sure?), Trip's Servine is taken with her.

now, trip's servine doesn't really love love her-when he makes passes at her, it's like a "ditch those losers and hang with me and my trainer. you can do s0000o much better" type situation, where he doesn't really care about what's best for Snivy- he mostly just thinks they'll look good together.

Snivy is just glad to be rid of him when ash drops her off at the lab.

if trip should stop by oak's lab (maybe he finds the abundance of Pokémon there to be a really great photo op, you know how he can be). Snivy will immediately be wary of him being there. she'll hang around Sceptile a lot more than usual, which is saying a lot since they're already together frequently throughout the day. Sceptile doesn't understand why at first (not that he's complaining, really.) but then Snivy gestures towards Trip and he's like "oh."

snivy had told Sceptile all about trip's serperior when she had first started getting close with him.

Sceptile definitely detests him from the start and he's sympathetic towards Snivy regarding him. mostly, he's just glad she doesn't have to deal with him anymore.. until she does.

once Snivy undergoes the displeasure of reuniting with trip's serperior, though, he looks her over all lascivious-like and makes lots of backhanded comments to the tune of "wow, even after all this time you're still so small and fragile." (alternatively, if she's a serperior by the time they see each other again, he’d either be all “my goodness, how you’ve changed. and here I thought you’d stay small and pathetic forever.” OR he’d probably be a little more respectful, but not abundantly so.)

Sceptile of course is immediately not a fan. he had heard a lot of not-so-good things about trip's serperior regarding his behavior towards Snivy and he's always quick to keep Snivy far from him to avoid conflict. trip admittedly isn’t fully conscious of why ash’s Sceptile and his serperior have so much tension, but it makes great photo fodder.

trip’s serperior is haughty and incorrigible but that doesn’t really stop Sceptile from giving him a piece of his mind— and he uses a lot of choice words when doing it. serperior is appalled, mostly because few Pokémon have ever taken that tone with him, but he simply shrugs it off and he’s all “I could have any Pokémon I wanted anyway. Snivy should feel lucky I ever took an interest in her. Hmph. Women.” After that exchange with Sceptile, though, he surprisingly chooses to buzz off.

on a lighter not, if ash had been present for this he might have just misinterpreted it as Sceptile and trip’s serperior recognizing each other’s strength and then immediately challenging trip to a battle for old time’s sake!!!
