“Ye look very comfortable.” Soap smiles, his arm wrapped around you, his fingertips running along your back. That damned accent of his making you feel butterflies as always.

You giggle. “I was cold, and you were hot... plus, you're squishy. And your arms make a good pillow... So what can I say?” You shrug and plant a kiss on his cheek.

"Lass, please. I can't breathe." The big guy wheezes.

"Don't be silly. You're my pillow now." You yawn. "You're so warm."

"Mhm. If I die like this, I'll die a happy lad, aye?"

"Oh please, don't be dramatic, Johnny-"

Your voice was cut off by him theatrically wheezing and pretending to pass out (im talkin hand on the forehead tounge out kinda dramatic)

"Johnny!"

"Okay okay, I'll stop lassie."

Im still thinking about the fact that bad didnt die yesterday. he didnt expect to live. he was wearing slime armour, which is awful against explosions. he was on one heart while elq was trying to kill him and it didnt work. my mom loves to lie and like she always swears she was NEVER homophobic or anything to me as a child “i even have a gay work friend” but a really funny memory resurfaced recently where i asked if i could use birthday money i had to buy a rainbow flag when i was like ??? 7?? because i LOVED rainbows. and she said no that means something Evil and god will hate you . so what did i do. but ask my grandmom for a rainbow sweater for christmas and proceed to only wear that sweater for three years when it got cold because i didnt like the idea that god hated colors and i wanted to challenge him

ever think about how Edwin was bringing that lantern over to a dying Charles without knowing he could see him. he'd just recently escaped hell and yet he saw a boy bullied and shivering, and his first response was to try and help even with zero recognition. to try and stop what happened to him in that very same place from happening all over again. and then when Charles does see him, that realisation that it was already too late. that Edwin had been through hell and back, gone for decades and returned to the very thing he'd left to. how hopeless that must have felt and yet he kept it a secret, read Charles stories, kept him company until Charles did die because he didn't want to scare him.
