There's several moments of silence.
The unicorn studies his fellow, pink eyes careful and suspicious. It's been... Certainly a while since he'd heard Twilight's name. But then again, he was certain he'd never heard of an Opaline, so it's about fair.
Finally, he snuffs a bit and allows his horn to wink out. The book he'd been holding in his magic lowers towards the floor before he catches it in his hoof. She seemed harmless enough. He could indulge this question.
"I'm older than Twilight, actually. But yes. I'm a mage."
He closes the book and slides it into his saddlebag, looking from the mares horn to her face finally. He'd never gotten around to asking why unicorns had developed those markings on their horns, had he? Breeze should ask some time. Pony morphology had gotten very interesting over the centuries.

Jacqui is, at the end of the day, a nihilist. They don’t believe anything matters in the world. But rather than being cynical and viewing this as something to be depressed about, she views it as a good thing. The paragraph from the TV Tropes page for anti-nihilism that is the most relevant is “"Don't cling to pain. Don't expect happiness. Don't fear loss. Accept reality as it is. Enjoy the good. Endure the bad. Don't make a big deal out of anything. Be selfless, and unconditionally kind and just, without ever expecting a reward. We're all going to end up as piles of dust, so why not be nice to each other?"”
That truly is Jacqui’s mindset and way of looking at the world. They do their best to be compassionate, and kind, and caring. They don’t see being soft as a bad thing, and it certainly doesn’t make them naive, or weak, or overly innocent. They see their compassion as a strength, and the fact that they want to help people and care about others as one of their powers, to be honest. Nothing matters - but that’s freeing to Jacqui.
But because of this being their belief, Jacqui is always just slightly veering towards unhinged. They figure that if nothing really matters, and everything is going to be what it’s going to be....why not go big or go home? They figure things will happen when they’re “meant” to, regardless of their actions, so their actions are going to be whatever they want them to be. They’ll try anything once, they’ll do it for the story, they’re always there to have a good time. Because everyone’s time is short...so you may as well have fun with it.

BIOGRAPHY:
jacqui grew up a relatively under-supervised, overaccomodated only child with happily married parents
up until their high school years, when their mother got sick, and ultimately ended up passing away during their junior year of high school
while jacqui was always free-spirited, the loss of her mother at a young age ultimately sent her into more nihilistic territory, with an overwhelming belief that life is short motivating most of her decisions
but also, she knows what it likes to be in pain and what it's like to have things going on you can't talk about, so she always wants to bring lightness and kindness to other people's lives
even if they seem kinda ditzy and unfocused at times, they're decently smart - not like, got a full ride to ogden smart, but they got accepted on their own merit
they were debating going to somewhere like ucla or nyu, but ultimately wanted to branch out and do something different, see somewhere different - they grew up in la, they'd move back there eventually bc they want to be in music, and ogden is an elite college

This only further emboldens Death Watch to step up their attempts to disrupt the peace talks and could ruin any hope of Mandalore stepping further onto the galactic stage.
Set against this political nightmare is the continued relationship between the Mand'alor and his secret Jedi lover. But secrets are prone to be revealed at inopportune times.

Summary: Making the conscious decision to desert from the Empire was perhaps the most terrifying choice he’d ever made in his entire life. But Cody finds life on the run harder than he ever expected. When he's at his lowest, a helping hand is offered to him, but it's not one he is willing to accept so readily. Can two clones who hate each other's guts find their way to common ground and maybe even a place of healing, or will they kill one another first?

I. PLOT
It’s been 100 years since the last class left Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. The once thriving institute for people born with a unique genetic mutation giving them extraordinary powers, otherwise known as mutants, had to close it’s doors for good because of a shortage of mutant students following the events of House of M. Soon, the world all but forgot that mutants ever existed, and stories told by the older generations were often viewed as nothing more than tall tales. But there’s a little truth to every tale, isn’t there? Over the past couple years, a new crop of mutants have discovered their powers and after being cryogenically frozen for 100 years, Scott Sommers gathered some of them together to reopen Xavier’s for a new class of students. This is the new generation of mutants. Welcome to Xavier’s, G E N E R A T I O N X .
II. BASICS
Generation X is a group verse set in the Marvel’s X-MEN universe. Since all characters attend Xavier’s, they should all be mutants but if you have a storyline that makes sense and you really want a non-mutant, human character, we can discuss. When choosing your character’s super power, you should keep their canon in mind and choose a power that fits their personality. Get creative so we don’t have duplicate powers in the verse. No all powerful characters will be accepted. On a scale of 1-5, no character should be above a 3 controlling their power, and they should all still be learning how to control them. Older characters could have a better handle on their powers but younger characters will probably still be novices. Though this takes place 100+ years after X-MEN canon, no canon X-MEN or next gen X-MEN characters will be accepted unless you have a valid reason for their return, (ex. Scott Summers was cryogenically frozen for 100 years.
III. RULES
There’s bound to be mature content including but not limited to sex and violence in a group like this, so we ask that all muns and characters be 18+, no exceptions.
While in characters drama is encouraged, OOC drama will not be tolerated.
Major plots should always be run by an admin. (ex. major injuries or NPC deaths) Pregnancy and in verse children plots will not be allowed because they don’t really have a place in an environment like this.
Activity will be required either on the group discord or on the dash, but preferably both. If we don’t feel like you’re contributing to the group, you will be asked to leave.
Characters from all fandoms will be accepted as well as original characters.
Each member is allowed up to THREE characters, but we might allow more in the future. If you have at least ONE teacher, you can have a FOURTH character.
Duplicate face claims will not be allowed so if a canon face claim has been taken you will have to use an alternate face.
Duplicate powers will not be allowed so get creative.

Everyone knows about the war in Britannia and the oppression of immigrants in the kingdom, what happens when Britannia starts to expand in Japan and tries to take over as well with war, even after the third princess disappears from the castle (the strangest part being nobody outside the castle has ever seen her face).
Izuku sees this happening and is more determined to become a hero to save people with a smile, just like his own hero All Might. While training to go to UA and even at the entrance exams, strange things happen around him and his future classmates.
What does Britannia want with Japan? Why has no one from outside the castle seen the face of the third princess? Are there secrets being held? Will they be revealed? How will things work out with love, family, friends and enemies?
