Echoes of the Past.

To The Ghost In My Dreams.

My old friend from the past, usually I would apologize for something I did to you, however as I contemplated on the secrets you held from me for the entire 7 years of our more than friendship, I find it hard to even come close to an apology. Yes I did bad things and took it a little bit too far but Im not a bad person and did everything I could to redeem myself. Yes you gave me a few chances as I did, and yes the fights got ugly, and yes I pushed you away at times. But I never took what I thought was a private friendship between just us, to the public, specifically the police. A lot of the things you said and wrote down you know are not true. Before recently, I thought someone had persuaded you or your partner at the time influenced you to betray me in such a devilish way. But now...I can totally see those words come from your thoughts. I think you planned for me to not find out at all about anything you kept from me but my old friend your as gullible as always....you underestimated me once again. See I planned for when you would strike me when Im down and execute the set up as you said you would. I planned for the worst case scenario in fact. The difference between you and I is that I have patience. See I could never trust myself with you. I knew I could not control myself when it counted so I made sure I manipulated the world around me so as the pain I suffered I can heal with time. Rest assured my old friend unlike your lies, I will never hurt anyone that I care for by my own hand. You, Fanni, and myself know who the real abuser is. Unlike you we did not take you to court did we? I told you before I know your weaknesses from our long friendship. And old friend Im not dumb to the anonymous messages you have sent to try and still meet with me for sex, I do have the nudes and....lets say the forensics to know its definitely you. Quite frankly the nerve of it all for you to still attempt such a thing whilst sending me to jail is absolutely insane! Lastly, since your obvious weakness is the secrets you try to keep, rest assured if I can get away with it, I will layout as much of those secrets the day you have scheduled for me to be condemned to hell, including the ones around you who may not wish to have this happen. I dont know if its enough to do anything but I know that to any common sense jury, it should be enough to label you a deceitful liar and entrapper in their minds. You wish me away yet force me to face this waste of time with you over and over again. You were a dream old friend but now you are a ghost I pray away every night.

I seek to delve into the history of air raid sirens across various cities during global conflicts. These figures are not mere statistics but harbingers of nights filled with fear, days cloaked in uncertainty, and the relentless echo of human resilience.

Here is a small statistic about Air Raid Sirens:

London (World War II): The city was engulfed in a loud chorus of air raid sirens, their shrill wails piercing through the night sky, sending shivers down the spines of those who heard them for 246 days. Berlin (World War II): For 1704 days, the city lived under the shadow of bombardments, the air filled with the ominous drone of incoming threats. Paris (World War II): The city experienced 1533 days marked by the wail of sirens and the anxiety of war, each alert a stark reminder of the fragility of life. First look at Echoes Of The Past

A new trailer has been released for Echoes Of The Past. No release date was specified.

Told through a series of flashbacks, an acclaimed writer, Nikolaos Andreou (Von Sydow) poignantly recounts his personal experience as a young child during the Nazi invasion of Greece. Caroline Martin, an experienced and successful lawyer is assigned to handle a modern day reparations case and to gather evidence on behalf of the German Government. As she listens to his devastating story, both she and Andreou harbor their own sets of motives, beliefs and perspectives, but are brought together by a historical tragedy that was meant to keep them apart. Their fateful meeting in the Greek town of Kalavryta, a place still marked with scars of the tragedy, opens a path through a dark chapter in human history and promises to have a profound effect on both. They struggle together and individually to understand and come to terms with history’s enduring lessons, ultimately beginning to realize the long-sought closure which will allow them to embrace a new hope for the future.
