Winter Wonderland Awaits at Mayudia Pass in Eastern Arunachal Pradesh
Mayudia Pass, a slice of heaven tucked away in Eastern Arunachal Pradesh's Lower Dibang Valley. The name "Mayudia" is a blend of two Idu-Mishmi words: "Mayu," the name of the mountain, and "Dia," which means "peak of the mountain.” . If you're the kind who dreams of snowball fights and snow angels, plan your trip between December and January. That's when the pass is at its snowy best, transforming into a winter wonderland. . Mayudia is about 56 km from Roing and can be reached by road from all major cities of Assam. The journey itself is an adventure, with hilly roads full of twists and turns. Just make sure you're prepared for the ride! . DM us to connect with our travel experts to plan your trip now to Mayudia pass for this winter! . . . . The Timeless Beauty of Living Root Bridges: Nature's Masterpiece.
The living root bridge—a marvel that's not built in a day, or even a year, but over many, many decades!
The process of building a living root bridge starts with planting Ficus Elastica on either side of the stream. Like most things in nature, time plays a huge role for the roots to be long and strong enough to be guided across the river.
Once the roots get long enough, they are twisted together and guided across the stream with the help of a bamboo or a wooden bridge, one that needs to be repaired and fixed multiple times over the decades that it takes for the roots to reach the other side.
Once the roots are strong enough, to take the weight of people walking on them, these bridges can finally be called a living root bridge!
Check out this incredible sketch of the double decker living root bridge by @divin_div

Shillong's Enchanting Cherry Blossom Season | ChaloHoppo
The Sakura 🌸
The streets of Shillong come alive with the vibrant hues of cherry blossoms, between November and December and bring a palpable joy to the air.
The town transforms, with every corner lit up by the blazing pinks of the blossoms set against the clear blue sky. As you walk around, you'll find young lovers capturing moments under these trees, schoolgirls giggling and taking selfies, and tourists from all over, mesmerized by the petalled explosions.
But what truly makes this season special is the shared appreciation. These trees, standing tall and proud, are for everyone to enjoy.
They serve as a reminder of the beauty of nature and the importance of community.
