All Plans Fly Out the Window
There’ve been quite a few long lost twins Damian and Danny meeting at galas, right? All very cute, happy, relaxed, etc.. Well what if we add a little twist?
——————————————————
Vlad Masters.
A very suspicious figure that only in the last few years rose to wealth and power from almost thin air. Companies that were doing decent simply handing over the keys. No court has ever been able to prove foul play, all judges siding with Masters even when counter mind control measures were in place.
Any evidence or stories implicating Masters were either retracted or removed with great speed.
Bruce did not want another Lex Luther to deal with, and yet he first needs evidence. All of his computers were tightly secured with little connection to the Internet, and the ones that were refusing to be hacked. (“It’s almost as if it’s… alive, B.”)
Therefore, while risky, a more hands-on approach was needed.
Tim and Bruce were to stay in the spotlight, keep Masters eyes on them. While Damian would sneak away and snoop under the pretense of, “being bored”.
However, all of this went out the window when Masters introduced his godson, Daniel Fenton who when shaking their hands said in the League of Assassins dialect in a pleasant tone,
“What the **** are you doing here?”

So, Ghost Prince Danny. Except that he also, ALSO, is Damian's younger twin brother who was sent to keep an eye on the Fentons because of their discovery of a substance that looked like Lazarus Water yet isn't Lazarus water.
In truth, it was really just Talia's way of getting Danny out of the way because he lost against Damian in the battle of heirs (No Danny did not hold back, Damian was just better than him) and she didn't want him dead so that was the next best thing.
Danny does pop up in the League at odd times, mostly to report about the research done by the Fentons. When he became half dead he's around a lot more, mostly to be monitored for his unique condition (somehow someway they don't know about Vlad) and because Danny can just come and go as he pleases cause ghost powers.
So, Danny gives Damian a flute that he handcrafted himself as a birthday present because really, what can he buy that Damian himself couldn't? Also, because he didn't actually want to spend money on his older brother.
They're brothers, but they don't have the most cordial relationship. They don't hate each other, but they don't like each other either.
So, Damian takes this flute and is like: "Fuck you gimmie this for I don't need this shit."
And then Danny is like: "Just take the gift you stupid ahh fruitloop."
So, Damian takes it while berating that Danny would give him something as stupid as this, but then does a full one 180 by keeping the thing on his person at all times.
Not that Danny knows that, really.
So, cut forth to Damian being known by Batman and taken in. Trying to kill Tim and being an overall little shit, I can see one of the Batfam coming across this flute just, randomly really, and then Damian is fucking pissed that they dared to touch it and then takes it back.
Leaving basically everyone stumped over the significance this random ahh wooden flute has but decides not to touch that landmine.
So then the Batfam don't know that Damian has a half sibling (Danny came from Jack and Talia, so he isn't blood related to Bruce but is to Damian) running around out there and Damian isn't gonna say anything and you already know Talia isn't since Danny AIN'T his kid.
Plus, he got a job to do that being with Bruce Wayne would make harder.
So then Damian becomes robin an allat, then the entire Batfam pull up to the Justice League for some big threat and then both Constantine and Zatanna are like: Yo why do you kid carry round an item drenched heavily in death energy to the extreme
Batman is obviously like: Excuse me?
Damian, meanwhile, just does not give a fuck about the flute given to him by his half-brother on his birthday is apparently drenched in death energy to the extreme because that is his and he isn't going to just give it up.
So then one way or another Damian ends up playing it, maybe he was told to play it by both Batman and Constantine just to make sure it isn't actually anything dangerous or whatever and also because Damian wouldn't let anyone else hold it, let alone play it.
Which Damian smirks at because he's played it before and literally nothing happened aside from very good music, but Damian hasn't played it since he came to the Wayne household and has missed it. So he reminisces over how he got it, thinking of his half-brother and their relationship.
He plays it, but this time, since he genuinely thought about Danny death energy just condenses in waves. Damian couldn't see it since he was too focused on playing and reminiscing, everyone isn't really that calm and tries to get him to stop but the death energy blocks them.
Then a summoning circle appears in front of Damian and Constantine recognizes it as being from the Infinite Realms category and it seemed to be a high-level summon circle too so he's like: Well fuck.
Then, contrary to their expectations of some eldritch abomination, it's just Danny. Who, fun fact, was in the middle of his coronation as prince and such, dripped out in royal wear.
Safe to say, Constatine goes: Well double fuck.
The tension is just broken, as all Danny does is cry. Like, genuinely, he just cries because Damian still kept his flute that he made, he genuinely thought the guy just threw it away since he hated it so much.
Danny: Ancients, my big brother actually liked what I made this is making me emotional.
Damian: Why the hell are you crying this thing is still trash btw.
Danny: Yea whatever you say big bro, you love it.
Batman: What do you mean big brother?
Danny: Who in the hell is that-
Damian: Right, I never told him about you.

Danny is Bruce Wayne
Lots of bad things had happened to Danny. He’d been turned into a half ghost, been cloned, been hunted for sport because of his new species, and had the government turn against him and his parents when they tried to support him. Needless to say, he wasn’t having a good time.
He had been in the Infinite Realm, trying to find a solution to their problems. Supposedly, out of all the dimensions in the Infinite Realm, none of them had ever declared war against them and declared them as a nonsentient species. It had angered a lot of ghosts, with good reason.
When the Fenton portal suddenly disappeared along with Vlad’s portal, he didn’t know what to think. He thought maybe the locations had changed, and searched all around the area, coming up empty. It wasn’t until Clockwork told the ghosts that the dimension had been destroyed did it really set in.
He was alone. The sole survivor. Maybe it was for the best. He just hoped it was quick for his family, and that they didn’t suffer.
What was he supposed to do now? Clockwork took him under his wing and showed him how to have inter-dimensional traveling adventures. The two would pose as father and son (not that it was an untrue statement at this point) and they explored the multiverse together. They’d fought demons, aliens, humans, and anything or anyone who threatened the timeline of that dimension.
Danny eventually got older. It took him a while, now that he wasn’t bound to his own timeline. He was around sixteen now, but he had seen and done so much that he didn’t even flinch at the scariest of threats.
“It’s time.” Clockwork told him.
“For what?” He tilted his head, looking at Clockwork.
“Your next task. This one will be solo.” Clockwork opened a portal and gestured for him to step into it.
“Will you come and get me when it’s done?” He asked, hesitating. Why did this feel like goodbye?
“I will. But I’m afraid it will be a while.” Clockwork smiled sadly at him.
He hugged Clockwork, partially surprised when the god of time hugged him back. “You’re sending me there to live, aren’t you?”
“I am.” Clockwork let him go, for once not being cryptic. “You’re ready.”
“Thank you for everything, Clockwork.” He smiled, then walked through the portal.
As he stepped into the cold autumn night, a glowing green sticky note appeared into the palm of his hand.
Do not let them see your ghost form.
He burned the note and shifted back to his human form. It had been a while since he had been in it, and he noticed that it was as tall as his ghost form was. He was still growing, of course. He was 5”11, and seemed like he was going to inherit his dad’s 6”7 stature, if he was lucky.
The first thing he noticed about the city was that it reeked. He wanted to pinch his nose, but he held back. He wasn’t going to let some stinky city make him gag. He’d literally gone to the stinkiest planet in the universe once! Now that he thought about it, was that training for living in… wherever he was? He looked around and saw a sign. Gotham. This should be fun.

So I got this random ass DCxDP Idea out of nowhere, so just hear me out for a second.
Vlad steals the infimap again, tells it to take him to his future, he ends up on this random ass mountainside in what seems to be the middle of the Himalayas. Danny gets sent by Clockwork to go retrieve the infimap. By this time, Vlad has discovered an odd pool of ectoplasm just through one of the caves in the mountain he'd landed on. It seems different from usual, but doesn't have enough time to inspect it before Danny shows up and re-claims the infimap and leaves Vlad there, he'd been oddly more violent, especially after seen Vlad with the pool of ecto.
Noting the location of the odd pool of ectoplasm, Vlad attempts to return to Illinois, only to find that he's several hundred years in the past, rather than just somewhere in the Himalayas in current time like he'd thought. He's now stranded here with no way of getting back to his own time, as the technology to even attempt to do so wouldn't exist until at least the 1980s. So, he returns to the pool of ecto to try and figure out what to do.
Eventually, he decides to gain power for himself in this time, he changed his name, starts a cult surrounding himself and the pool, gathers resources using his powers, and has his new subordinates build a tenple for him around the pool. His subordinates need to be able to defend him, so he hires a master swordsman to teach them how to weild weapons, he ends up following alongside the lessons either from afar, invisibly, or both, so he can claim to have known this skill all along. Slowly, the group expands, and someone attempts to kill Vlad. He sicks his now assassin level subordinates on the attacker, and thus, the League of Assassins is born.
All is well as Vlad waits patiently to catch up with Time. He'd found out early on that the pool he'd dubbed the Lazarus Pit could heal the sick and kill the healthy, so he used this as an excuse for his ghostly immortality. He ends up having a couple of paramors and a couple of children, which makes his core sing. Then, oddly enough, a young man shows up to request training from the group, he almost looked enough like Danny that Vlad had to take a second to realize that it was several years to early for the boy to have even been born; let alone a young adult.
Turns out, the young man was Bruce Wayne. This was certainly an odd turn of events, as it turned out Brucie Wayne was Batman. This revilation didn't bother him for long, and Talia had taken a liking to the man, so he instructed her to keep an eye on him.
Things were going well, Talia had been doing well keeping track of the fine detective. And had even coerced him into a relationship with herself, that might prove rathar useful down the line. Danny was due to be born the upcoming year. And Vlad was making preparations. While he couldn't take the boy just after his birth, that would mean he'd never become a halfa, he could bide his time and become a part of the boy's life earlier on, and take him under his wing after the accident.
He wasn't expecting Talia to come to him and tell him she was pregnant. He tried not to think too much on it. He knew of Damian Wayne's existence, and this child was likely that same boy. However, what he couldn't get put of his head was the sudden revalation to how similar the youngest Wayne and Daniel looked. They were even the same age. He decided to put it out of his mind, but the thoughts were wrenched back to the forefront of his mind when he found out Talia was pregnant with twins. He didn't like this, Damian had been an only child as far as he knew, so why had things changed?
He became further concerned when he tracked down Maddie and Jack to attempt to re-insert himself in their lives, only to find Maddie wasn't pregnant. Something had changed, and Vlad was panicked. Somehow, Damian Wayne would now be a part of a set of twins, and Danny would either be born later than last time or not at all.
Vlad tried to look into when and where the change had occurred, but without complete knowledge of how the timeline had occurred before his presence changed it, he had no idea what could have happened.
That was until the birth of twin boys, Damian came out perfectly healthy. The second boy had been very sick, but Vlad would recognize those blue eyes anywhere. It was Danny. He immediately ordered for the infant to be placed into the pits to heal and promptly secluded himself to his chambers to have a mental breakdown.
This didn't make any sense! Daniel was Jack and Maddie's son! Not Bruce Wayne's! But this made all too much sense: why there hadn't been any photos of Daniel before age 8 in the Fenton household, how Danny looked just slightly different than his parents, but in a way that could have feasibly been explained by latent genes. But it wasn't latent genes, Daniel Fenton wasn't Jack and Maddie's biological son, was he? Then, the final nail in the coffin, Vlad was reminded of his and Danny's first meeting, the boy had immediately tensed uppon seeing him, and had muttered something under his breath, something Vlad had brushed off as an insult. But now he thought about it, his tone had been questioning, almost scared. Danial had called him Grandfather.

Dp x DC crossover
Ok so deaged danny plus bad parents jack and maddie. In Gotham. Here is my take. So sam invited danny and tucker to tag along to a gala with her because while the Fenton parents didnt try and hurt danny when he came out of the ghost closet, she didnt want to leave him with them for 3 weeks alone. So they go and guess who is also there, vlad.
Vlad cornered danny and used a relec he took from the ghost zone. He was told it would make danny more susceptible to suggestion. But instead it deaged him to a 8 years old.
Vlad thought he could work with this and tryed to grab danny. But danny bit him and bolted, Vlad chased after him. Danny ended up running into one Richard 'dick' grayson, known to the public as dear ol richie.
Dick would look at him and be like "you ok kiddo did you loose your parents?" Snd before 8 y/o Danny could reply vlad would show up and put his hand on Danny's shoulder to keep him in place like "sorry young wayne this boy is mine, he is quite the truble maker. Now Daniel and I must be heading home, come Daniel".
Danny looks up to dick with tears welling up in his big ice blue eyes and wails "please help this creepy man wont leave me alone". Dick looks at masters with a blank face "mister masters, I dont belive you have a child" he says in a cold polite voice.
Danny shrugs off vlads grip and runs over to dick and hides behind him. "L..look I assure you he is mine, he just wants attention" vlad trys to say but dick is having none of it, vlad is rubbing him the wrong way. "Please dont belive him he isnt my dad, hes really creepy and a frootloop" danny cried clutching onto the back of dicks shirt.
"Mister master I'm gonna have to ask you to leave" dick says coldly standing protectively in front of danny when vlad takes a step closer. Danny sticks his head out from behind dick "you heard him be gone frootloop" he says sticking out his toung. Vlad takes his leave all huffy.
Dick turns and kneels down to Danny's level "you ok kid?" He asks and danny wiles away his (crocodile) tears "yeah thanks for scareing off the frootloop" he says smiling. Dick looks down at the black haird blue eyed child "sooooo where are your parents" he asks. "Um at home" danny says "and who are you here with?" Dick asks "my freinds" danny says happily.
"And your freinds parents?" He asks "at home" danny says. Dick thinks there are more small children running around the gala unattended now. "And your parents are ok with you being here?" Dick asks "they probably havent even noticed I left" danny says. Dick sighs in concerned big brother. He feels the need to pull a bat and get the kids parents.
Jeez if dick ends up pulling a bruce his siblings would never live it down. "Come on kid let's find your freinds yeah".

My wife's dad is more scary then Batman and my grandfather Ra's al Ghul
Estelle as name for Dani or Estrella
4 Baby Talons (clones of dick Grayson)
It had already been a few months since Damian got married to his friend Ellie, and he was very happy. I'm not sure how to explain it to his family or, worse, her family, but that can wait. It happened while he was traveling with her together on vacation through the countries. And he chated and wrote her like four times a day.
While Damian hid it from his family, Dani didn't, as she first told Sam. Jazz and Maddie are working on how to tell Danny. And then Danny learned about it, and he left to meet that boy in Gotham. It had been a long time since he had been in Gotham. And the observers wanted that one person called Doctor Simon Hurt; too many souls died thanks to him.
He was joined by Skulker on this mission. Skulker was just happy to hunt something new, as he didn't try to hunt Danny anymore. The pain that Danny did to his Robot Body he felt on his real boy!
Well, Dani kind of followed Danny; she wanted to make sure he didn't turn her into a widow! She didn't even tell him about her being a meta!
There was something not many people knew about Danny that he himself never noticed, as Amity Park had known him since he was a baby. And being pretty carefree in your demeanor doesn't help. But once outside of Gotham or at Gala with Vlad, people notice it, like Lex Luthor that very short moment in the Gala.
Here in Gotham,
Danny met his son-in-law, and he found the boy interesting. Sam had told him about the child of Bruce Wayne, the playboy billionaire. But he wasn't sure why the boy was so jumpy. I mean, Skulker isn't even near them; already, with few of his duplicates had found Dr. Hurt and captured him already. And Danny others looked if that Owl group still existed since the last time he cleaned them up.
Danny is too powerful for most normal people to fear. Only with good instinct will he notice how formidable he truly is.
So poor Damian's whole body was in horror at this moment. His instinct made him able to notice it fully.
Damian twitched as he was just near Dani's Father, no matter how he tried to hide or stop it. This man made him think of his grandfather, General Zod or similiar. He wanted to draw his Sword, but he didn't have it near him.
Damian smiled at Dani as he tried to play it cool. But when you notice your father-in-law's shadow moving, HE HAS SEEN WORSE! He can do this!
And after a good dinner and talk he got the support of Danny; Ellie smiled; she wouldn't be a widow; and Damian was happy he was accepted and didn't have to fight this villain, maybe? or in the future. Damian didn't get to sigh in relief as Danny left and whispered something about collecting something.
No! Damian, doesn't care!
He wants alone time with his wife. Only to be told "he was to come with his family to Amity Park to meet the Fenton. Damian's family should meet theirs."
Dani told him they would come, and she would Call them 1 or 2 days bore that first before Damian could say anything.
+++++
As Danny was outside of Gotham, Skulker came to him with his few duplicates, holding four tiny blue-gold mixed-eyed children. "Skulker, you destroyed how they were created and so they can't do it again?" Skulker:"Yup, destroyed both Dionesium and Electrum and let few pets out to eat them, it wasn't Lazarus Pit which is needed after all and has nothing to do with us in the Zone. Also I sent copies of the Court members, very damning evidence of their crimes to many newspapers and reporters all around the US. Did you know they blackmailed a few Senators? It will be a comedy in a few days; you can tell that goth girl to tell her family." Danny nodded his head at that. " The cover-ups for this one?" Skulker:" Yes, Mr. Freeze will do it, as last thanks for helping to heal his wife." Danny:" Good, we can leave then. I am hungry."
Skulker:" Didn't you just eat?"
++++
At Amity Park, it didn't take long for Jazz to just accept the new 4 Owlet babies and raise them, she really is wanting to raise them. True, Danny had no plan for them, but that works too. And now they just have to wait for Damian to visit with his family.
++++
At Gotham, after the chaos was fixed by Mr. Freeze and the new chaos started by the news and police forces and even villains attacking the higher class… Bruce meets and learns about his son's wife, and he is told to meet her family in Amity Park. Damian warned his father, his new father-in-law, that this is very scary and not normal.

Oooh, good point! I think I’d prefer to go for a mix of two and three. An experienced Danny who’s super sick of the hero life, but he’s still pretty experience and maybe even harbors resent for the league since they never helped him out. I kinda have a thing for stories about Danny having issues with the league, lol. What do you think?
This is in continuation to this post.
From what I've seen you're not alone with that preference/niche! lol I've even read some Miraculous Ladybug x DC crossover with a similar concept, back when I used to read fics for MLB (it's been a while since I last read fanfic for MLB though). I know I did play around with the concept for down the rabbit hole (goes the throne). However, something that's very tricky to balance is making sure Danny doesn't come off as... self-centered, I guess the right word would be?
Because yes, it's understandable that Danny would be upset that no one tried to help him if they did reach out. At the same time, you have to consider the possibility of censorship thanks to the GIW (which is a popular headcanon) or that Vlad used Desiree to make a wish that would shield the town for his machinations and schemes (which is another headcanon I've seen used before). Danny can be upset at first but if he finds out that their attempts for contact literally could not connect, then it would be unreasonable for Danny to keep harboring that resentment when they're here now because they found out. That implies that had they known back then they would have tried something too, but they are not meant to be omniscient, no matter how hard Bruce might try to be.
Plus... the JL already have a lot of responsibilities. Most if not all these heroes have a base of operations- an entire city to take care of. And yes, so does Danny, but they can't just drop everything and come to his rescue, especially if the problem is much more extensive than just closing the portal. (Which Danny could technically do at any given time, but chooses not to.) But let's not talk about that. And there's also all the off-world missions they're in charge of or participate in. And many heroes have their day jobs and civilian lives to maintain, and plenty of these heroes have kids! Things are complicated!
But complex situations make things all the more interesting, do they not? ;3
Let's play around with that, shall we?
---
"Are you really a ghost?" Bart asks Phantom in curiosity. Is it just 'Phantom' or is it 'The Phantom' because the latter sounds much more mysterious, but is that trade-marked by-
"You think too fast," Phantom grumbles under his breath as he zips around a burning piece of rubble. He hardly bats an eye at it, just watches it fly past and then freezes it, effectively putting out the flames. The rubble slides innocently across the blacktop, falling alongside all the other pieces he's already frozen over.
Phantom's hardly even trying. It's so not crash.
"You're not like any ghost I've ever seen before," Secret agrees with a small frown. She doesn't distrust Phantom necessarily, but her own curiosity is hard to fight down.
Phantom's lips twist with amusement. "I could say the same to you actually." The group collectively watch as Phantom's legs twist and disappear into a wispy tail, the ghost curling it around as if to hug himself.
"What kind of Casper..." Kon overhears Tim mutter to himself. It's a good thing he doesn't have a piece of paper, else he'd be taking rapid fire notes. A computer would've done in a jiffy, of course, but it's not like they had access to one of those in a blown out city street like this.
"I've never heard about you before," Cassie comments with pinched brows. She doesn't look happy about it.
And for what it's worth, Phantom doesn't either.
"You wouldn't," Phantom drawls. There's no mirth in his voice. He turns back to the villain of the day, hands sparking as he zaps the machine so thoroughly that sparks fly and the metal audibly creaks.
Kon shivers at the display. He's not afraid, not really, but he's still uneasy... He knows that Captain Marvel is one of those heroes on par with Superman, and right now, watching Phantom wield his lightning, Kon's starting to see why.
The group shuffle around uncomfortably as Phantom sucks up the villain into a soup thermos? Now that's not something you see every day.
"What's that do?" Tim, ever perceptive, prods Phantom for answers.
"It contains ghosts, spectral entities, the works," Phantom replies curtly, capping the thermos with practiced ease. Ease that spoke of experience. "You kids alright?"
"Dude, you're barely four years older than some of us," Anita deadpans with an unimpressed look. "You don't get to call us 'kids'."
Phantom lifts his shoulders in a shrug. "Sorry, y'all are still babies to me." He points at Kon. "You've gotta be, what, not even six months old?"
Kon prickles at the remark. "That's none of your business." He knows he's not that old chronologically, but that doesn't make him an infant. He'd appreciate some respect about it.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you," Danny replies and it sounds sincere? But most of them don't take too kindly to him anyways. He just gives bad vibes is all. "Where are your mentors? I feel like there should be at least one of them around to supervise."
"We can take care of ourselves," Tim insists, crossing his arms over his chest. Uh oh, he's hurt Timmy's feelings. That's never a good sign.
"You're kids, you shouldn't have to," Phantom sneers slightly, snidely more like.
"Like you did?" Secret asks tentatively. Phantom's hair visibly floats up, picked up by an inexplicable wind. His eyes glow a shade brighter. It's eerie. It's uncomfortable.
Phantom's face might be impassive, but he still remains an open book.
"Yeah, something like that," Phantom murmurs, his tone unreadable. "I hope you can take care of yourselves. One day you might be the only ones that do."
With that ominous warning, Phantom disappears. Here one minute, gone the next. Like a true ghost.
"I vote we call him 'Casper the Unfriendly Ghost'," Bart announces out of the blue. "Raise your hand if you agree?"
At once, every single member raises their hand.
"Motion passed."

Making Friends
Tucker makes a hacking friend Babs (or Tim). Maybe they met on an online forum or accidentally hacking into a company (Dalv Co. for funsies). When their schedule allows it, they create false programs that their friend has to get in and out of, with "necessary information", the other then advise them on what was missed or how to do something better.
Unknown to Tucker or Babs (or Tim), they start slipping away from false programs and start hacking real companies again. Each thinks that the other doesn't know of the plan, to get help from an unlikely ally. Like Tucker believes he gets them to hack Vlad's personal files. While Babs (or Tim) believes they get Tucker to hack into Lex's files.
Both know that the other is skilled enough to get in and out without notice. Just harmless fun.
Both realize too late that they let something slip about their other life constantly. They think, they easily get away with a lie, but both take note of it and move on.
At some point, things take a nosedive when, Babs (or Tim), finds a shady government that has detailed records of the horrors of Amity Park through underhanded funding by the town’s mayor.
Tucker finds the cloning technology through Lex's files that is so very familiar to Vlad's.
Now both are questioning the very likely suspicions that their friend isn't exactly who they say they are.
+
Sam also makes a friend reluctantly, through an animal activist group. This kid she couldn't see herself ever getting along with, she finds him annoying, kind of on the shallow end, and sometimes unpleasant. Only because of their shared interests does she at least try to get along.
Damian finds this girl completely rude but at the same time understands when he hears an argument with her folks about a gala.
(Her parents followed her and is completely against this particular group. Telling her that this organization is underhanded.)
Both Sam and Damien then find exactly how bad this funded group is and where the money raised is actually going. They spread the word to other people who don't listen or don't truly care. Instead, they take it on alone.
Damien just wants to stab people, but Sam gets through to him about a way to take down the company without causing too much of a fall out that puts them in a scandal. (It wouldn't stop Sam, but Damien knows that Bruce wouldn't be too happy with a scandal).
Sam just needs Tucker's help with hacking.
+
Danny also makes a friend, more accidentally. With his friends being busy and not telling him why, and Jazz being busy with college thesis stuff. He goes online to find help with his book assignment of your choice (I'm a sucker for Jason and Danny interactions). He gets help by someone with a username that he relates too. He calls it a mood. That's literally how everything starts. It's thanks to Jason that Danny is passing English again.
However, one day, while online gaming, Technus takes over the game. Danny with quick information on what happened and spilling something about dead coming back to haunt the living and leaves to take care of something.
Jason now concerned, gets a hold of Babs (or Tim) to get information on whoever Technus is and everything about Amity Park.
Tucker has gotten to know Damien through Sam.
Now Danny needs help from Tucker to isolate Technus in a singular device for easier capture with the thermos.
Tucker amateurly keeps his program open for his friend to see the situation with Technus (they don’t need the repeated danger of him getting into satellites). His friend recognizes the danger and helps out sealing Technus and removing him from servers.
Jason, Babs (or Tim), and Damien are now aware that Amity Park where their friends Danny, Tucker, and Sam live isn’t exactly a safe environment and wants answers.
Could include:
Fenton's C+ parenting
One of the Batfam is Danny's twin or sibling
One in 7 people just look like him
Bruce attempts to adopt the 3 much to the chagrin of the parents
Each of the befriended Batfam's alter ego is Team Phantom's favorite
A lot of shenanigans with information and/or identities
Many WTF moments
Danger of Technus getting into the Batcomputer?
Not sure on how or if/when they meet. Writer’s choice.

To Hands That Hold And Sometimes Let Go
The sky darkens as the smoke rises from the section of Gotham City that still burns from the latest rogue attack. Emergency sirens blare in the distance and people frantically make their way home in case the destruction starts heading in their direction.
Tim only takes a second to breathe in the sudden chaos across the city before he’s bounding down to Bruce’s study and pacing anxiously in the elevator on the way down. Tim startles when he realizes that Danny is already there just getting into his suit before yanking on his own Red Robin uniform.
“Stay here for this one, i heard on the comms that this is a planned attack by several rogues in an alliance. It’s too dangerous for you to be out and trying to help right now.” Tim throws over his shoulder as he strides over to one of the batbikes.
“And leave people out there to die? Are you insane?! You need all the help you can get.” Danny practically shouts at him.
“We don’t need you out there, you’ll only get in the way with your level of training.” Tim whips around to growl at him. There’s not enough time to argue right now with Gotham in flames and who-knows-who on the loose.
Nobody gets the chance to say another word before the bike starts, and in the next second he’s already barreling through the cave’s hidden entrance into the night to fight with the rest of the bats.
Alfred sighs as he watches him go, and Danny startles and turns around to look at him. The young masters all seem to have the same issues with communication as Bruce, and it always seems to cause problems for them. There doesn’t seem to be a day that goes by without one or another of them getting in a tiff.
Danny sniffles and drops into one of the chairs. He slides a hand down his face and it’s a minute before he says anything, but Alfred waited until he was ready to say what needed to be said.
“Why did they want to keep me if they aren’t going to let me help them. Obviously i’m not exactly useful for anything else, and there’s no reason to keep me here other than Vlad asking him to.” Danny mumbled dejectedly from his spot.
“Master Danny, you don’t need to be worried about whether you will get to stay in the manor if you’re not useful. It’s not required that you go out on their night jobs with them, and we would be perfectly happy even if you stayed in the manor most of the time.” Alfred soothed.
“But that’s not what i want. I want to be so useful they have to acknowledge me, can’t leave me behind. I wasn’t helping with their inventions so my parents left me behind to work on them, and i wasn’t helpful and dragged Jazz with me. If i’m not good then i’m bad, and then even he doesn’t want me and i end up alone again.” He sobs quietly.
“Master Danny…”
“Please just let me help. I need to.” Danny asks quietly.
Alfred sighs and sets down the medi-pack he was restocking. If he lets him go he could get hurt. Making him stay could hurt him more. The boy is rough around the edges and clearly doesn’t trust adults, barely trusting people his own age. In fact, the only one he seemed to open up to was Master Richard.
“Will you promise to at least attempt to stay safe? And if things get too out of hand, come back here immediately?” Alfred asks.
“Of course!” Danny says “As long as I can help!”
Alfred simply nods and watches Danny pull on his Ghost Bat uniform and hop on a batbike of his own, only pausing to wave at Alfred as he zips out of the cave.
Perhaps it’s time to do some digging.
He sighs as he settles down in front of the bat computer to wait for news about his grandchildren.

You ever consider how Dick Grayson and Dan Phantom are similar?
Like. Dick watched his parents die. He got taken away from his remaining family and placed in an unfamiliar city under questionable guardianship (juvie) where his focus was fully on finding his parents' murderer and getting justice for them until Bruce/Batman came along and mentored him into a better (if not always the healthiest) mindset. Setting him up to be a Hero.
While Danny. He watched his family, his friends, and the only teacher who kinda maybe cared for him die. He was placed under the questionable guardianship of Vlad. Who had no idea how to help a grieving boy. And instead...made things worse. Trying to separate the human from the ghost and setting Dan up to become the villain when Plasimus overtakes Phantom and turns him evil.
So like.
Why not have Danny meet Dick. Why not have Dick become the mentor that Danny desperately needs. The one who shows him that he can dig himself out of his grief. He can channel his anger. He can continue to help people despite failing the ones he cares about most.
After all Dick has been through a similar thing himself. He understands. He knows the feelings. Knows how the pain, how the anger never really fully goes away about what was taken from him. Knows how hard it is to accept that one can have a new family without forgoing your first family.
Or.
What if Dick comes across Dan after the fact. Whether it's by accidentally getting into the ghost zone and encountering the thermos holding him. Or Dan getting loose in his universe. Or maybe the obsesrvants attempting to put Dan on trial for all his Crimes.
But all Dick can see when he looks at this ghost is the 14 year old boy crying out for help. A mimicry of Dick's own 9 year old self. Crying out. For help.
So Dick steps forward. Points out the flaws. Points out all the ways that the Observants, that Amity Park, failed Dan.
You don't save a person by leaving them alone to figure it out by themselves after all. You save them by being there for them.
And the Observants....Observed. They did NOTHING. Of course Dan went down a dark path. He had no one else to show him otherwise.
Perhaps Clockwork gets invovled. Perhaps the Observants don't believe that Dan can be good and offer to let Dick 'test' his claims with the expectation that Dan will prove them right and Dick wrong in being 100% evil.
But Dick. Dick knows. Heroes can fall. Heroes can become Villains. But Villains can also become Heroes. And he's not going to give up on Dan. Not when he knows just how it feels to fall. Not when he knows just how much help it is to have someone in your corner.
He's not going to give up on Dan.
And Dick isn't going to let Dan give up on himself either.

Prompt idea: Danny is Damian twin but he doesn't want to meet his biological family.
In this AU Jack and Maddie are really good parents. They know about phantom and are proud but more guilty about half killing Danny.
Let's say they were the day of the accident.
They spend a lot more time with their kids, only making things in their lab that could help phantom. Learn more about ghost lore. And adopt Dani if exist.
I don't know what Maddie and Jack will do when learn all about Vlads shit.
Anyway let's say Danny developed pstd about billionaires and pushy people because of Vlads.
For whatever reason Bruce learn about Danny and send a letter about meeting IRL. He didnt expect to get rejected.
You can start a plot about Bruce forcedly inserting in Danny life. Danny treating Bruce the same way as Vlads. I know they are nothing alike but Danny has his trauma about billionaires.
Of this is going to be so much worse for Danny if the entirety of the batfam get involved. That's a lot of people to be pestering/stalking you even without the ptsd.
I imagine the Fentons become super protective of thier youngest because if this. Things heat up when Bruce finds out about the portal and then Phantom because Danny doesn't wear a mask and isn't exactly subtle. This leads to an investigation that might lead to Jack and Maddie (and eventually the GIW) being arrested and facing serious charges.
Maybe Jazz adopts him? Maybe Danny flees into the GZ? Either way the batfam are surprised Danny wants nothing to do with them. They might starts claiming stalkholm syndrome or something since Danny isn't holding anything his parents have done against them. Either way they're trying to "recue thier baby brother" and ignore any attempts he makes to get them to leave him alone.
I love the angst potential

Batman grappled onto the building as soon as the door closed, firing his hook at around where the shadow of buildings turned to the light of the stars. The cable shot out, retracted for a moment, then yanked Batman into the air.
Batman couldn't fly. It was, technically speaking, only falling with prescion, aided by artifical gliding wings. But sometimes, when he caught the full moon behind him, and his leaps reached their peak, and his cape filled with wind behind him, he couldn't tell the difference.
He landed on the roof of Vladco with a silent roll.
"Oracle. I need to know where Vlad would hide his secrets."
Batman skulked across the rooftop as his earbud filled with the crackling of keyboards.
"Vlad Masters," Barbera said, "try to get inside while I do some research."
One roof access staircase. A camera with one blinking light stood above it's door. Batman danced around the edges of light, sneaking under the camera and gingerly pulling the cable. Then he pressed his ear to the door and worked to try and jimmy open the lock.
It creaked loudly as the lock sprung open. Dust covered every step down inside.
"A-ha! Vlad's hiding a floor. Get to the basement."
He opened the door and walked to the edge of stairs, firing his grapple gun into the ceiling. He stepped over the iron barrier and dropped into the mesmeric dark and endless concrete staircases swirling into the depths of Vlad's Facility.
"He's hiding a floor?"
"Town Hall's blueprints say he only has 127 floors plus a basement, but by digging into his contractor's history, I know he paid for permissions, equipment and zoning for up to three additional sub-basments."
"Vlad Masters isn't the kind of person who would risk that expense without using it."
Oracle hummed in agreement.
"His stock portfolio rates an average 145% return rate."
Batman grunted.
A moment later his boots found the floor, clicking slightly on the metal surface. He kneeled down, letting his grapple gun hang as he dragged a fingertip across the floor.
No dust.
Batman clicked on a flashlight and looked along the floor, his gaze trailing along a seam in the floor. Idily, he dug his fingers into slight fault and pulled.
"I think I found a door, but I can't open it."
"What is the door made of?"
Batman paused in confusion, but acquiesced after a moment. He crouched again, shaving a small portion from the door using a diamond and kryptonite tipped scalpel from his belt.
"Titanium?" He wagered after a moment of closing inspecting his shaving.
"Lets see... Vlad recieved a bulk order of titanium to his international shipping company 8 months ago, but it was reported stolen 2 months after that."
"Who stole it?"
"Plasmius. He seems to a ghost. Flight, ectomanipulation, super strength, form flexibility, IQ of 205, body multiplication..."
"His name has come up before. I believe they may be working together. How do I open the door?"
"... Even if he used all three floors of ventilation equipment he bought, he still wouldn't have the space to manufacture his own security system from raw titanium. That probably means he bought the internal workings somewhere, but I can't find..."
"Check Plasmius' criminal history, Vlad doesn't want this assiociated with his public image."
Oracle's microphone jostled in a way that sounded like a nod.
"Bruce." She said, "Are you sure these guys are something you want to take on alone? I'm sure Damian would be on the next flight back if you asked him, Kasandra is on patrol tonight. Even Jason."
Bruce paused his pacing investigation.
"Plasmius and Vlad are using Danny in their game. Family by convience, Vlad exploits his adoptive son for his schemes. It would make me a hypocrite, worse than them even, to involve the adoptive family I love."
Batman flickes off the flashlight, plunging the stairwell into darkness. In the blackness, he blushed.
"How do I open the door?"
Oracle sighed in defeat.
"Plasmius stole an audio activated security system two months after the titanium from a security firm in Kentucky. It's likely a simple word or sound, not able to distinguish voices."
Bruce nodded, his heart dropping.
"Thank you Barbera. I'll be on touch when I patrol next."
"Bruce there is one more thing bothering me."
"What is it?"
"Vlad went to lengths to ensure the building and installation of these secret floors stayed secret."
"Yes?"
"What happened to the people who built those floors? Fabricated and installed the door? Linked the ventilation and power grid?"
Batman swallowed.
"I don't know, but I intend to find out."
He hung up on her, tapping his ear piece.
He took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. Most of the time it was guessing a villain's password to defuse a bomb, but somehow this felt more sick. He ignored his hypothesis, instead trying the common options.
"Vlad Masters."
Nothing.
"Open."
Nothing.
"Open Sesame."
Nothing.
Batman sighed, and tried to remember the name he'd read on Danny's birth certificate.
He said Danny's deadname aloud, and the titanium doors started to rumble open.
Batman scoffed and grabbed onto his grapple gun, descending into the hidden subbasement of Vladco.
"What a transphobic shitheel."

The one in which Danny gets de-aged by Clockwork for some riddle-filled reason he hasn't bothered to decode the meaning of and finds himself on the streets of Gotham as an eleven year old facing an annoyed and Pit Rage filled Jason Todd, alone, homeless adjacent, and oh shit, he has dark hair and blue eyes.
It's not Jason's fault he decided to one up Bruce and become the father he never got!
And it's not Danny's fault his ghost core took one look at this sorta maybe halfa that hasn't formed properly and decided he needed protection!
Aka: That one fic where both Jason and Danny adopt each other and only chaos can ensue from there.

I find the idea of Jazz being an overprotective sibling when they were young so adorable. Like imagine a young Jazz holding young Danny's hand everywhere and helping him up on his chair. Imagine this in the au where Bruce figures out Jack is a relative but Jazz and Danny are children when they meet. Imagine the Batfam just cooing over this sweet shy little boy and his overprotective sister who's like 'No. My little brother >:('.
my mind went dark because i've seen my share of fics and analysis of jazz, where that protectiveness stems from living in an unstable home. like her parents are loving but also awful a lot of the time. and jazz was facing that alone for the first three years of life and then she had a baby brother and she had that moment of i'm going to do anything for him. that pure love you sometimes just feel for infants. and then as time went on she became more and more aware of how dangerous everything in their house is. like overprotective people have a habit of catastrophizing. like you're not allowed near anything. i can't believe we're even in the same house as knives. but in this case, jazz is absolutely right. their house is a death trap. the fenton parents don't practice lab safety. that is canon. and i highly doubt their house was child proofed in anyway so you just have this also a child just fully embracing her role as a psuedo parent to protect her baby brother. (which is in fact a pattern in abusive and neglectful families.) also plays into her interest in psychology and childhood development. she noticed a problem and started researching it.
kinda takes the cuteness out of it. but the psychologist in me can't let jack and maddie off, especially when the show plays into these roles fairly realistically.
but yeah, i'm currently remembering the Christmas episode where jazz fought a turkey away from toddler danny with a broom. she's always been there for him even if they annoy each other. also makes it feel more significant to me that jazz was the first in the family to find out danny's secret. she reacted how you want a parent to react. she was supportive, and she gave danny the space to talk in his own time. she didn't confront him or force him to talk about his accident or being a ghost. she respected his boundaries and let him come to her. while also keeping an eye out on his general safety and health. jazz is a safe person to talk to.
the parents while are shown as being supportive when the reveal, leading up to those situations it's genuinely hard to tell. like you try to convince them that ghosts aren't evil with the presented evidence and they just plow over you with their ghosts are evil and we want to tear them apart rhetoric. it's hard to trust that they'll be safe. that they'll look past their beliefs for their kids or turn against them.
so naturally throwing batman into the mix. well he has an adoption problem. and lets be real, cps would be on this household if someone made the call. i could see it playing out as a temporary situation. where the fenton parents are confronted with their bad behavior and are told to clean up their act and meanwhile danny and jazz would stay with uncle bruce. (vlad offered as someone the family knows better but jazz and danny vehemently refused.) and that has the potential of antics because danny fits the type and could just accidentally phase into the bat cave at any time. cassandra, barbera, and jazz being friends is also everything to me. danny learning proper martial arts instead of his messy self taught fighting style.
and just there's a certain dichotomy because the siblings in the bat family are kinda weirdly antagonistic. like you sense the love but they aren't close in a family way exactly. they're close in a we fight together way. they're brothers in arms. but theirs bitterness and jealousy that we see a lot. they love each other but they fight a lot.
but jazz and danny are close. protective. yes we see jazz protect and look after danny a lot. we see her worry about his safety and mental health. but you know danny is just as protective of her. he'd fight anyone. he notices when she's in danger even when she doesn't. see the johny situation. sure they tease and argue but it's a lot more innocent. i don't see them getting in fist fights with each other. their fights are nothing serious.
so i could see having jazz and danny in the mansion calling attention to the fact that the bat bros aren't as close or normal as jazz and danny seem to be. and initially it might be written off, well of course they're more normal. they're not vigilantes. but then the reveal that, no danny is also a vigilante and jazz has been in fights in the past. that excuse kinda goes out the window. so it becomes a thing.
jazz enters family therapist mode. it's what they deserve. - Hestia

BatFam Snippets
"Mr. Wayne, are you alright?"
"Detective, I am on many levels not alright." Bruce said candidly. "A man I was working with broke into my house to abduct one of my children, a child he'd apparently been abusing before he came into my custody and probably planned to continue doing so. And he was stopped by my butler with a shotgun. I don't like guns. I don't like that one was in my house without my knowledge. And I certainly don't like the idea of people being killed with guns for reasons you and all of Gotham know."
The Detective flinched and the unusual level of seriousness in Gotham's most vapid playboy's voice. It was so easy to forget the cheerful, if sometimes vapid, man in front of him had watched his parents get shot to death as a child.
"But it he hadn't...Masters might have gotten Danny. Maybe even have taken Tim too. He and Danny look enough alike. And I can't...I couldn't deal with that." Bruce took a deep breath. "This is a nightmare and the only worse nightmare would have been if Alfred hadn't stopped him so no, I am not alright." Bruce ran a hand over his face.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bruce Wayne did not use foul language.
When he was a child it was because of the fear of getting his mouth washed out with soap. As an adult it was much the same as his vow against killing - the fear that once he'd start he'd never stop and he'd end up in Arkham himself, just shouting obscenities till the end of his days. That's not to say he wasn't tempted sorely at times. And now was one of those times.
During the investigation into the death of Vlad Master and why Vlad Masters was after the children it was almost impossible to keep who Danny truly was underwraps, He'd thought they'd managed, until he'd gotten a message from child services this morning.
They'd figured him out. Not from anything Danny or Bruce had said, but from Vlad posthumously flipping the table one last time, He wanted nothing more than to sit on it. To give Danny a chance to rest and heal. But that would be making Danny's decision for him and Bruce wouldn't take that away.
"Danny can we talk for a moment?"
Danny studied his face. "Alone?"
"That's up to you." Bruce said honestly. Any other child he would have said yes, but no other child he'd taken in was so frightened by the prospect of being alone with him.
"Can Tim stay?" Tim's smile brightened at the trust his foster brother was showing him and Danny rubbed the back if his neck nervously.
Bruce sighed. "They've started going through Vlad's will. You've been named as the main beneficiary."
"I don't want it." Danny said without hesitation.
"Understandable. But if you refuse, it will all go to the other beneficiary." Bruce explained.
"The other-?" Danny screwed up his face in thought. "Mom right? It had to be. He didn't care about anyone else."
Bruce nodded.
"Let her have it." Danny huffed, ready to go back to what he was doing.
Bruce wished so much they could leave it at that. But Danny's decision needed to be informed. "What would she do with it?"
Danny opened his mouth to answer, but the words caught in his throat. He'd known the answer without thinking, and as such hadn't thought about it. She'd make more weapons. Finance more experiments. Push more anti-ghost legislation. Ancients, with Vlads resources she could finance her own GIW. Not to mention all his notes on half ghosts...
"I'm going to guess retire to the Hamptons is out?" Tim asked dryly.
"I can't let that happen." Danny whispered.
"I say she and the Hapmtons deserve each other." Tim quipped.
"I've been trying to find a way out without revealing you. I haven't found one yet, but no matter what I promise you two things, Danny." Bruce said solemnly. "You won't have to go back with them and neither of them will ever lay a finger on you again."
I really been liking Danny Phantom and Batman crossovers lately ;w;
OK so here random Idea I had for how they meet after reading so many. Fentons go on an impromptu family camping trip at the start of summer because it was Jazz's last year as a "kid" Despite having just graduated. This impromptu trip was also started by Vlad, having given Jack the idea. Because of this they were attacked that night by Plasimus's minions. Not only separating Jazz and Danny from their parents but successfully shorting Danny of his powers for next 24 hrs. It also so happens, Batman on a mission ends up crashing in the area, probably due to ghosts in the area and ends up badly injured. Danny and Jazz find him and start trying to decide on what to do. Jazz wields the Fenton bat and forced to wear an upgraded specter deflector by Danny, leading the way. While Danny half carries batman, since he still has enhanced strength. Batman fading in and out of consciousness. Unable to really fight, just listening intently to the strange pair of siblings. Gathering information as he couldn't do much else. He was up against enemy he knew nothing of, but these children knew a vast amount about. What he managed to ask about didn't clear up much, except why they were also lost. They ended up setting up camp where they found tire tracks and supplies. Evidence where their parents were, realizing that they went after the ghost believing Danny and Jazz were kidnap. (As the siblings theorized) Danny and Jazz fought off remaining ghost, and hunt for supplies. Taking care of Batman's wound. Batman listening in and out to what the kids say. Clearly theorizing Danny must be a meta, and feels extremely guilty at not being able to do anything. Blaming himself for what transpire. Jazz despite turning recently into and adult, has experience in being one when other adults in Danny lives fail him. Constantly worried and devoting herself to helping her little brother. That the siblings don't agree with their parents and actively fighting ghost in their stead. Wanting to protect both ghost and human. Danny not having self-confidence despite having built/fixed their communication devices and a ghost shield to wait out til Batman's allies arrive. Jazz knowing how to tend to injury like his and able to do it mostly calm. And information about threats like Plasimus, who apparently wants their mom and wants Danny. The GIW and anti-ecto law. Different ghosts and their threat levels. Such at the ones they were fighting, were normally no threat at all but massive numbers and being controlled by Plasimus is what made situation deadly. Tidbits about town name AmityPark and how ghosts are common. Batman unable to properly interrogate info, ended up just having small conversations or listening to the kids. Making Danny and Jazz slip up more information than they normally would have. Or talk bits about their lives when they thought he was dozing. Immediately after their rescue, plan put into order to help the kids. Helping find this plasimus and check on amitypark. Danny and Jazz giving lessons on their parents gear. Not knowing the batfam after the communication device was repaired, were already searching and discovering who they were and specifically who phantom more n likely was. ........Also none of the brothers let Bruce live this down. Especially if he dramatically told them it was a mission for him alone. Making jokes about how alfred already setup their rooms or like so when we going to properly introduce ourselves to our new siblings? All the jokes. They were relived Bruce was ok so now they'll joke about it forever. Not sure if I explained my thoughts or anything well.. ITs really cute and sweet in my head. Jazz supporting her brother, also going to take online courses for first year of college. JUST SO, Danny could have more time focusing on school, since junior year in high school is so important for college. She was planning on getting better at ghost hunting so she could take some of the night or school time shift. Already making sleep schedules etc. She wanting to make sure Danny doesn't forget to live while focusing on
his ghost so much. Danny having all the weight and guilt on his shoulders. Overwhelmed and barely keeping his head above water. Not realizing he smarter than he gives himself credit for. Having an adult, other than Jazz, just listen without immediately judging does take some weight off his shoulders a bit. Even if said adult is injured : I. Danny and Jazz bickering or mostly teasing each other as they fight with weapons parents built. Danny teasing Jazz on her aim. Probably reminding Bruce about his own kids a bit, and guilt for having these two random kids fight to protect them. Danny clearly better aim, but Jazz really good at swinging the bat. heh =w=' idk just thought it was cute. Anyone can run with it by the way. I don't know the bat fam enough to write them. =w='b but i love them regardless. just little ideas. Vacation Crashers I made the fanfic LOL
