a/n : finding a red carpet florence pugh gif was pure nightmare fuel there was some really weird ones💀 anyways thank you so much for the request and i hope you enjoy!!💓

florence was going on a red carpet today for the premiere of her new movie, but this time you were her plus one. from hearing other celebrities talk about red carpets it made you feel like you were going to be ate alive. you did some finishing touches on your look and left to go find florence some where around the house.

she was found in the kitchen rummaging around in the fridge which you see more often than expected when you start living together. ‘hey flo, are you ready to go?’ you asked as she spun around to see you. ‘oh my god.’ she started, ‘you look absolutely gorgeous!’ florence started showering you in compliments and in return you did the same.

as soon as the both of you were finished gushing over the other you went downstairs to be picked up for the ride to the premiere. the second you sat down in the overly expensive car everything suddenly started to suffocate you. your leg started bouncing around and you were fidgeting with your hands.

florence noticed your behaviour and put on a soothing hand on your thigh. ‘it’s going to be alright darling, you’ll be with me the entire time’ she began whispering into your ear. ‘if the cameras or the screaming get too much for you then we will just go to interviewers as soon as we can, fuck the pr’ she said making you giggle at the end of her sentence.

a soft smile was set on her face as the car slowly came to a stop. you could hear the crowd, the cameras, the interviewers speaking over the enthusiastic fans. you looked at florence with anxious, tensed eyes. just the sound alone was intimidating, the thought of you having to walk in front of everyone in this slightly uncomfortable outfit and awkward shoes was horrifying.

‘are you sure i’m even going to be liked?’ you asked, ‘of course you are! you are the most likeable person in the entire world, how could they not like you.’ florence started. ‘y/n, you look absolutely stunning and if someone asks you something breathe and then answer honestly. your gonna win everyone’s heart just like you did with me. you got this.’ florence finished with before leaving the car waiting for you outside.

the second you left the car everyone went ballistic, cameras flashed and people started screaming, talking to each other, some even started cheering. florence squeezed your hand reassuringly as you walked down, she stopped every now and then to bring you in close for a picture and then continue foward.

the interviews flew past with you only being asked a very small amount of questions to your relief. the second you got into the cinema was like a fresh breath of air. ‘you did so well, you also looked incredibly hot i have no idea how i didn’t trip over when staring at you’ causing you to let out a laugh. the movie began with you and your girlfriend having soft smiles at the new milestone in your relationship.

All-time great new Will Wright quote just dropped

This comes from a super rare magazine we just acquired for the Video Game History Foundation: The First Decade of Computer Games, a supplement for Game Player's PC Entertainment from 1992 that tries to tell the early history of the game industry. It has a ton of unscanned interviews with big names in the early computer game scene, including Dani Bunten, Trip Hawkins, and Sid Meier.

This quote in particular was about the computer platform wars between Commodore and IBM. The point Wright was trying to make is that, in his view, in any format war, the cheaper, lower-tech standard will win, and I guess he was unhappy we went with DOS instead of Amiga.
