Phantom Park

Look, Danny hated clowns, he really hated them, but theme parks? He loved them, when one of the tours came to Amity his Rogues agreed with the feeling after having fun for hours.

And they offered a truce in exchange of forming their own thematic park for a while, and go over the world, wich sounded bad at first, he didn't want to leave Amity, but some vacations...

So, they created a lot of attractions, give Ember her own concerts, Skulker had a place showing how to hunt, Johnny and Kitty had fun with their motorcycles, Technus was administrating some cool games, Lunch lady was making some food for everyone and he had his own ice rollercoaster, they were having so much fun ¡they even made some money!

Now, if only the heroes stayed out of their business would be wonderful, this was the six time he was being "interrogated", they were traveling for god sake, they have a schedule, Batman didn't appreciate it

But Danny didn't care what Batman thought, they weren't metas, they weren't invading anything and everything was legal, the lord of vengeance could go sulk elsewhere, and he let him know, the six times he couldn't find anything

Really, it was not his problem if Harley, Ivy and Klarion liked the park, villains have free time too, his own rogues were having fun and Red Hood, Arsenal, Kid Flash and Nightwing were eating ice cream with them!

Is not his problem if they were too "bright" for the "heroes" or whatever, Flash was the only one with some respect at the end of the day when they passed his city

Seriously, most of the heroes were treating them like criminals, dealers or simple villains, which was starting to frustrate him a lot, his rogues tried to comfort him, but the brilliant and dumb heroes didn't understand, ¡This is a truce! his own "villains" (he never saw them as such) were laughing, playing, and completely peaceful without causing anything harmful

At some point in the interviews, Danny got fed up, did the heroes want to play this game? Fine, there's a reason people say don't treat someone like a villain or they'll see themselves as one, and even though Danny wasn't bad, none denied that he was petty, so at his next stop he decided, it was time to prove how haunted the park was and teach these guys a lesson

ALRIGHT, SO-

World Tour, where (please excuse my language) shit hits the fan, for real. My notes on this saga is hectic and convoluted, so I'll try to make some sense of it for this post. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the askbox or my DM's, whichever you prefer.

I wanted to do bullet points for this, but maybe most Tumblr users prefer to read long paragraphs than bullet points, since my posts not having bullet points do better? IDK, I've only been on Tumblr for like, a year at best so forgive this soul for her cluelessness lol.

And also, depending on how much I've typed, I might have to split this saga into three parts, 'cause I know y'all don't actually want to read a really long post that took up three scrolls wide lol.

Anyway--let's start this crazy train.

So, the story begins the same way as it is in the movie--opening shot with Cloud Guy giving a quick recap about the first movie, and then the next shot panning towards the Techno Trolls (ay, Branch's tribe, let's go!). Unfortunately, the amount of screentime (or appearance in this case) they got here minimal, since we're focusing on Branch and co.

But anyway, same thing happened, King Trollex hosting the rave, Barb barges in demanding his string and destroyed Techno Reef to get him to comply, same old. Poor guy, honestly, he just wanted to vibe.

Next shot pans to Pop Village, same thing there. Everyone is smiling and singing and dancing (with Techno!Branch joining in, look at that! Since he can't extend his hair like everyone else, he relies on acrobatics and just generally hang onto someone ((mostly Poppy)) whenever they swing on the trees with their hair). Branch tries to confess his love to Poppy, but got friendzoned unintentionally by her (ouch). Then Barb's bat pet thing comes in, and King Peppy's history lesson.

They're not the only ones here in this world. There are other trolls out there; Pop, Hard Rock, Classical, Country, Funk, and Techno.

This is where it gets interesting. At this point in time, Branch has all but accepted that he's possibly the only Troll in the village that looks the way he does. That he's the only one that ever existed in the world. It's why he and Cooper has a sort of closer bond with eachother in this AU : different Troll (tribe, but not that they knew this yet) solidarity. Sure, he was curious once, like how come is egg was in the Troll Tree, why does he look different, ect. But now he's more than content with his current predicament. He has friends now, something to look foward to; he was happy, after so long.

But now with the news that there are other Trolls out there, different from the rest, his past yearning came back to life. And while King Peppy hadn't said it outright, his lack of words all but confirmed Branch's suspicions. That he's not the only one out there. And from what he saw in the scrapbook, he can pinpoint which one of the tribes he supposedly belongs to; Techno.

Then we cut to when Poppy packs up to leave and got caught by Branch. The same argument happens, with the addition of Poppy saying that because there are different Trolls out there, then shouldn't Branch be curious about them? Who knows, maybe there's a tribe that looks exactly like him! Branch refuted by saying that, even if there was a tribe just for him, how would he connect to them? He's been living as a "Pop Troll" his whole life, what connection can he form with these hypothetical Trolls (identity issues go brrr)? What if they found out that he's gone Grey for almost all his life? If the Pop Trolls, who has known him since he was born, didn't react well to his whole Grey-ness; what are the chances his own kind would react badly to the news? Or worse, reject him outright.

Before he could go on, boom! Cooper appears from the shadows and said something like, "That's not how you really think, ain't it Branch?". They were surprised he's there, and then they exchange some more dialouge sort of expressing Branch's concern about not fitting in with his hypothetical tribe out there, and shed some light on Coopers concern as well about wanting to find you who you really, and even if you don't fit in atleast you know the truth now, that sort of stuff. IDK, I'm not great at writing angst, lol.

Anyway, after some convincing from Poppy, Branch relented and decides to accompany her (even if he denies it, he wants to know if his people is out there). Cooper also wants to come along, and while Branch refuses for his own safety, Poppy allows it in the condition that he sticks with them at all times. So, the three sets of to explore the entire Troll Kingdom, to "reunite" all the tribes and make one big party at Queen Barb's World Tour.

Little did they know just what kinds of trouble they'll encounter on their journey.

Woah, plot twist, Cooper actually comes along instead of going on a solo journey this time around! He replaces Biggie in this! What a shocker! Shocked emoji!

Admitedly, while it's funny the first time, Cooper's solo adventure is... I don't wanna be too rude about it, but it's sort of unnecessary in the big run? I mean, not entirely unnecessary, but like, if you remove that and just have him go along with Poppy and co., nothing major would change. He'd still be reunited with his family in Vibe City, except this time he'll have a first time reaction to the history of the Strings and see the truth of it, y'know what I mean?

But anyway, Poppy, Branch and Cooper's gonna explore the world of other genres. I don't think much will change with his inclusion, but the reactions will be far more varied, me thinks. Stay tuned for the next part, 'cause wow did not expect this part of the series to be so convoluted lol.

Also I had wanted to include some scene redraws from the movie with new implemented elements for this AU, but artblock is gripping me tight and college is starting soon, so I won't have much time to draw than I do write. So, yeah, hope y'all don't mind lol. I'll definitely do some artwork for this AU in the future though, believe it!

An intro to SHOPAHOLIX (+ The trio)

SHOPAHOLIX takes place in a pocket dimension somewhere in between this world and the next - a liminal space that stretches onward into forever, trapping mall patrons in an inescapable series of hallways and stores. whether they succumb to natural causes, die by someone else's hand, or fatigue themselves trying to evade one of the abstractly incomprehensible monsters that roam the shops, they eventually fall...

... and find themselves waking up as something entirely different. Still themselves, but with no knowledge of their name, and spotty memory of their past life... And a few extra limbs, here and there. Maybe computer chips, or maybe fiberfill. It really all depends on the store your human self last stepped into. Whatever it may be, you'll be surprised to see that the twisted, hostile labyrinth of the mall has become the roots for a neo-society. Those monsters you were running from? Those were previous humans - you just didn't have the proper eyes to see what they were yet. The decades of humanity imprisoned in this mall have started from scratch, rebuilding a facsimile of the world they remember - one so familiar, yet so different.

Nobody ages. Nobody's ever left this place alive. None of them are even human anymore. But here they are, thriving anyway.

Satin Grimoire is the Mall's most recent arrival - a young adult who really just wanted to get his holiday shopping over and done with. He's understandably upset and confused when he wakes up from a fainting spell with horns and wings, being looked down on by an actual angel. Like it or not, he's gotta learn all the rules and social standards of this wildly isolated eldritch-purgatory culture... As if that wasn't hard enough back home.

Cotton Principality is one of the Mall's longest-standing residents at this point in time. Not that there aren't "older" Employees - just that most of them died on account of civil society not being fully formed yet. Utterly emotionless and intimidatingly level-headed, Cotton is greatly respected for their work in studying and documenting the history of the Mall and its humanoid inhabitants. Some of their storemates claim they weren't always that way...

Corduroy Keystroke is the only surviving Employee from RadioShack. Why? Well... It turns out it's pretty hard to breathe or eat when your head becomes a laptop. They aren't very compatible with human organs. If anything, she's a medical miracle - a testament to how far the Mall has come in innovating on previous human medical knowledge. It's inspired her onto her new career path - studying mechanical anatomy and physiology, so that one day she can save lives the same way hers was!

Their little social pocket is the lens through which the Mall is explored... Which is to say they're mostly conduits for worldbuilding. I've written guides to xeno physiology and cultural holidays for this Infinite Ikea homage. Send help.

~ hiya meet Marcy the magic space cotton candy chinchilla 🌟💫🍭she’s the twin sister of Elfilin. Have some lore info about her She escape the labs of the forgotten land thanks to Elfilin. Unlike Elfilin she has goodness all in her, also can create portals but doesn’t feel drained out in anyway. But Elfilin doesn’t due to his other half. When the people wanted to do experiments plan on Marcy, Elfilin overheard this and decided to plan an escape. The escape plan went awry unfortunately, Elfilin’s evil other half attacked Marcy and tried to fuse to Elfilin to become one again but that didn’t happen. The chinchilla siblings ran flew away as far they possibly can. Elfilin uses some of his power to created a portal to escape to another dimension right before Marcy went in, Elfilin got captured by the people again and said to his sister “ Marcy I want you to escape here and have a better life, I don’t want you to spend it in a lab! don’t worry about me I’ll be fine and find my way out. I don’t want those awful scientists to hurt you please go!!” Marcy shed into tears went through the portal it took her to Chiffon Star. She was asleep when Princess Marona found her. Marona nurse her back to health and decided to adopt her. Marcy was so happy to make a new friend she was so shy at the start but she isn’t now. During her first week at Chiffon Star, Marcy still thinks about Elfilin and how he’s been doing, has he escape yet? Why he has a other half that’s evil and got split separated? Elfilin and Marcy don’t know much about the other half and why it’s evil. There’s so many unanswered questions. The siblings will overcome them :0 okie that’s enough lore for now I think I might write in my A03 about how they ended up in the labs in the first place. Oh yeah they do reunite in the future after the events of Kirby and the Forgotten Land :,D have a few facts before I go I don’t know how my head is full of headcanons and stuff so late at 1 am ;w; like I said before Marcy can make portals anytime and not lose any energy power within her. She sometimes visits other dimensions just for fun. Marcy met Meta Knight before Kirby cuz Marona knew him, sometimes Meta Knight visits Chiffon Star to get desserts sweets. With a teasing smile after the small usual banter, you got an idea that you were sure Sigma would agree to…

“Are you crazy?”

“WHY IS IT SO COLD?!”

A laugh could be heard nearby. You just stared and didn't dare to say anything but encourage the bi-colored-haired man as he reached out to touch the snow-covered rocks. It's always way more fun to see him acting like the complete opposite of what people know as the owner of the casino, you would even say that it's kind of a privilege to see that side of him being shown so easily around you.

“Don't laugh! Why did you tell me to touch it?!”

“I didn't tell you to do anything, I only lightly encouraged you.”

“You're the reason why I'm even outside!”

“Your point?”

Sigma could only sigh before getting lost in thought. Why did you even want to go out? It was so damn cold, everywhere he looked he could see mostly white, the fact that the two of you went to a place with no people was the only thing he was grateful for. He should try to get an answer someway soon-

“WHA THE-”

Sigma got forcefully snapped out of his thoughts upon feeling something softly, his mind supplied hitting his back *twice* if he counted the time that he got hit when turning around, just to see you with something in your hand. 

Wait is that-

He had no time to think when he tried to dodge yet another snowball that, he now realized, was being thrown by you.

Sigma had to literally hide behind anything in the vicinity soon enough as he realized that fighting back with his own snowballs was useless when you had a literal army of them and he was also slow at making them. 

He had no idea when and how did you even made all of them. Was he out of it for so long or were you someone that makes snowballs really fast? He had no idea nor time to wonder as you moved closer to him again and he had to run, Sigma was already covered in snow from all the hits he took. He really should stop laughing to himself and making it easier to find him again and again, shouldn't he?

That was one word to describe the bi-colored-haired man when looking at him. Sigma was covered in snow, now trying to shake it off with a small grin as he couldn’t stop smiling after all the laughing for the past 20 or so minutes, as you finally stopped attacking him with a million snowballs, he swore it felt personal for some reason but even though you stopped, he still decided to keep an eye on you.

At the moment, you seemed to be just having a little bit of fun while waiting for him by scooping up snow and letting it fall back to the ground. He deemed it safe enough to look away for now since you seemed to be occupied with your own thing and not planning anything.

Little did he know that it was a grave mistake.

Should he try getting back at you? But how would he do it when he would obviously lose in another snowball fight? Maybe he should try and beat you in making the thing called ‘a snowman’, if he remembers the name correctly, but wouldn't you be better at it due to experience? What if he-

Due to his racing thoughts, Sigma failed to notice that you were getting closer and closer to him.

His train of thought was broken upon feeling something incredibly cold sliding down his back, worse, he realized in a second that it was under his goddamn clothes.

You wished you had recorded the situation as the shriek that the casino owner let out before trying to get the snow out from under his clothes was something you wished to show to Nikolai. Another thing to tease Sigma over was going onto the list.

“Why?”

“I mean why, like why don't want to?”

“You're unbelievable.”

“I'm trying, thank you.”

Looking at the fact that Sigma didn't seem too mad about it, you decided you are definitely doing it again.
