Now for the Marvel Cinematic Universe Verse!

How Lambo meet the Avengers when the Battle of New York happened. (2.5/3) Interlude - Vongola’s Reaction...aka they finally took notice.

Note: Mentions of Future-that-never-happened, mostly Tsuna’s reaction. This is happening when Lambo is 15 years old and in New York

Note 2: Bad Grammar because this is a draft. And the end is confusing.

Taking the mantle of Vongola Tenth, aka Neo Vongola Primo, wasn’t a easy task and the paperwork is something he wishes to weaponized against his enemies. (Maybe it will make them stop and think twice that taking the title of ‘Mafia Godfather’ isn’t worth it). Blood, tears, and death is sadly becoming normal in his life. It isn’t avoidable and it something he knew every since he passed the Vongola Trial in the future where images of people dying, begging for their lives, and wars were show in his mind's eye just to test him to gain a higher Dying Will Flame.

Time passed by quickly that the only way he knows it does is because of the dates in the documents and his phone with a calendar to have his weekly call to his mother about how she’s doing and as well concerning about Lambo. Sadly he skipped those days to focus on more time sensitive matters.

Tsuna sighs as he felt his gut turned as his mind drifted to Lambo.

Before he would’ve justify on his decision that he didn’t bring Lambo to Italy since the boy can be in a safer place and the mafia world won’t touch him. Yet its these thoughts that he can’t help feel like a hypocrite since he’s doing the same thing his father did to him when he was young.

Though he did told Lambo once he’s older, more responsible, and graduated from high school, he will bring the boy to Italy. He won’t admit it to anybody but he will never forget the hurtful look the young boy of ten gave him before looking away with a scoff ‘whatever’ under his breath before dashing out of the room. He’s grateful that it was just two of them in his old room when he told Lambo. (Though he has a feeling that Reborn does know)

Another sighs escapes Tsuna but then his Hyper Intuition gave him another spike in his brain that caused him to let out sharp hissing noise while an urge to itch around his ring finger started.

He’s been having them for a few months. The first thought that came to mind about how similar the feeling is when the Future-that-never-was fiasco happened or when a big change happens. It didn’t help that when it first happened his ring glowed in a radical pattern as if giving off a distress signal. He tried to find the issue that’s causing it but its the same result, nothing. This worries not only him but also the rest of the Famiglia. He made all other Guardian and members of the inner family to call anybody they know if they knew something is off.

Nothing.

Tsuna takes the recommended medicine to lessen the pain. Maybe he should take a break and finally call his mother. Just when he was just about to, Gokudera burst into the room, startling him. Before he can say anything Gokudera in a panic voice with a dreaded look said the words that made his mind go once again in a pain frenzy.

“Ahoshi is missing!”

Everyone gathered in one of the largest meeting room to find everyone that’s available in the mansion.

Tsuna and his half of guardians are sitting close to him close the head of the table. Half of the Arcobaleno (Reborn, Lal Mirch, and Collonello) are siting close to windows. Byakuran with his guardians and members from Yuni’s family are clustered together behind Yuni whom is sitting on one of the chairs of the table. Kokuyo Gang behind Mukuro. Dino’s and Enma’s Famiglia are following Yuni’s example. The Varia are clustered in a corner with Xanxus in a large armchair as he’s drinking his usual alcohol. The girls, Fuuta, and Bianchi, and the engineer trio are in another corner that’s closest to Tsuna. Shoichi had to sit on the floor as big stomach ache affected him greatly, Spanner next to him to help through the pain.

All of them are varies degrees of emotions depending on how close they are to the Bovino but there’s no denying that in the items in middle of the table is causing the silence in the room to be deafening.

The Lighting Ring in its closed off form (the gray ring without the green gem), the one before it’s true form, is laying among black dust and pieces of once used to be the Vongola X Helmet. Next to the ring among the remains is also the Lightning Bull Ring.

Tsuna felt his throat tightening and tried to keep his voice calm. He turned to Kusakabe since he’s the one to find the remains of the Helmet in his old room, it became Lambo’s room after the move to Italy.

“What did the Foundation found out about Lambo?”

The second hand after Hibari told on what they found.

Since the boy is enrolled in Namimori High, the Foundation has records of the ins and outs of students as well of the staff. This is because Hibari is the principal of the school and uses this method to know which student have been skipping class. (To track them down and "Bite them to death") The attendance of Lambo Sawada (the fake name that the boy is listed in the system) shows that he's still attending and shows that he's turning in his work. It's until a closer look that the boy has been doing all this from "home". A Foundation member found it odd since the boy isn't in the hospital but there's a signed formed from Sawada Nana that the boy is to be okayed to take online classes with the okay from the Vice-Principle.

["Kusakabe, fire the vice-priciple," Hibari says flatly but it's clear to anyone in the room that the Skylark is ticked.]

When the Foundation member look where the location of the sign in came from, there's a wall that it hard to track the real location. This notice that there's oddities with the Bovino that was brought up to Kusakabe. When visiting the Sawada residence, Kusakabe notice oddities right away, even more so with speaking with Sawada Nana. When Kusakabe asked Nana Sawada on what happened to Lambo, she happily informed him that he’s with a friend but when asked for further info, she had a confused look before admitting that she didn’t know. Given permission to enter his room, turns out that the room where the broken Helmet is found hasn’t been used for months.

Meanwhile, the Foundation tried to find info on all people whom interacted the boy. Turns out the boy had varies hobby classes outside of school, nearly perfect scores, popular, and that there’s barely any items of personal significance in the room. There’s no evidence of the boy leaving Namimori until they a surveillance video of the boy boarding a plane. This is where Kasukabe took out various photos of Lambo of just leaving with a backpack.

Instead of the usual boy they used to know as ‘Ahoshi’, they see a ‘normal’ boy with glasses, normal clothes under a hoodie, and no mark of a hashtag under his eye. The only way they know it’s him is because a special program identify his facial features. If it weren’t for that they wouldn’t even pick him out of the people in the photos.

Kusakabe continued on what they found. “There’s no digital records of Lambo contacting anybody outside of Japan but he’s boarding a plane to the United States. He’s using a different name for his fake documents. Since it been months that he left, there’s no digital traces left to look for him. We even ran over his fake name and the origins of the documents but even that comes to a dead end...."

There are no words. Really what can they say since majority of the room aren't close to the Bovino, they never had a "civilian life", nor they can't see the bad in this other than the boy has left without word.

"Th-that Ahoshi! What is he thinking?! He disobey Tenth's order! A simple one at that!" Of course he's one that yells the obvious and meaningless fact, though his outburst start the (one-sided) arguments between the Rain, Sun, and the girls while the others are quiet among themselves not caring or waiting for the steam to leave to have a serious discussion.

Tsunayoshi takes the pics of Lambo and the statements. This, this isn't what his mother tell him about Lambo. She told him that he's barely passing his grades, no friends, and he doesn't have a good reputation. Yet this report shows the opposite of everything. Though, to his shame, he hasn't personally talk with the boy often since the only time he has free time to call home is during the boy's school time and those times are short to the point Lambo gives him one word or short sentence answer.

Before Tsunayoshi can calm down his friends, a ring goes that it silences the room. The ring comes from Kusakabe's phone. The tall man quickly answer his phone, a few exchange words happened, and it ends shortly. "Lambo is at your residence, Sawada-san."

"WHAT?!" Now that caught half of the room off guard.

Sawada quickly pulls out his phone and contacts his mother. He puts it in speaker since his hands are shaking too much and places it on the coffee table. It didn't take long for his mother to pick up. "Hello?"

"Mom! Is Lambo there?!" His bubbly mother not catching his panic tone simply just giggled. "Hello, Tsu-kun~ Of course Lambo is here. He just got back from a sleep-over from his friend. Do you want to speak with him?" "Yes!" Tsuna is so confused, his intuition isn't picking up a lie from his mother. He heard his mother calling Lambo over and heard the landline phone be picked up. He didn't know he was holding his breath until he heard the deep drone voice of the person he looks to as a little brother.

"Hello Tsunayoshi-san. How's Italy?"

...His intuition confirms that this is indeed Lambo.

Hopes, it's me again with the need for your fabulous mind to think something over with me about the Arcobaleno. Or to be exact, about a "slight" issue I just thought of with the Arcobaleno. So, in the current Arco generation, we have :

Luce : Completely and totally mafia

Fon : We don't canonically know much about him except for his martial arts but it is strongly implied that he is part of the Triads so here too, underground

Viper : Mafia informant, underground here too

Lal (& Collonello) : Army (COMBUSIN) i.e. civils

Reborn : Mafioso also (as hitman), but he is also fairly integrated into the civilian world (master's degree in mathematics, world-renowned interpreter in both insect and animal languages, member of the Italian bird society)

Verde : Scientist, i.e. civil but we can imagine that he may be involved in Underground-related cases due to questionable experiences

Skull : Stuntman, i.e. civil

Now, here I don't teach you much new, but here's the problem: Skull is a Stuntman, yes? And a good one on top of that, for doing shows and having nicknames means he's pretty popular. And Verde too, da Vinci's second coming, it wouldn't be really surprising if he was a world-renowned scientist.

Just how the fuck could the whole (civilian) world ignore what happened with the setting up of the Arcobaleno curse ? I mean, okay people disappear all the time but like I just said, we're technically dealing with two minor celebrities here. Between the Skull shows and the colloquiums that Verde was probably to attend as part of his research…

How did no one ask questions about what they became when they "disappeared" from the civilian world ?

okay so, my headcanon has always been that it's actually inherent to the curse to make it so no one questions it worldwide, no matter how strange or how obvious a "trail" it leaves in its wake. like, that's just one of its technicalities.

so for me the process of them being cursed always involved having their lives as adult simply being erased from everyone's memories, while attributing their achievements to their baby forms. that, or rewriting their adult lives in everyone's memories to make it so they’ve always been babies all along. and of course in both cases, or a third one you might go with or whatever, the curse also makes it so no one finds it strange that babies can claim and are undoubtedly the strongest in the world, and also they stay babies for decades/forever, and also are obviously "babies" only in shape lol.

and i get it's the easy option, but tbh it always seemed to me as the most logical one too, and not to be pretentious here or anything i swear lol, but i think it's pretty much canon too. like, hear me out: exhibit a) kawahira says himself he has the power to erase memories, so it's not a stretch at all to think he might be able to do that on a world scale, either by his own power or by using the trinisette/pacifiers, and exhibit b) the arco literally erased and reset ten years worth of an entire timeline by using the pacifiers, which also cancelled and reset all the other timelines, so it has to be a breeze to alter the timeline of just eight people.

so yeah, that's what i've always gone with, but i'm super curious about anyone else's take on this!

oh, also! not really relevant, but personally i think fon and viper could have been civilians too before the whole arco thing. like, they've all become mafia after the curse at the very least for sure, but for having been chosen for his martial arts skills and their esper powers respectively, it doesn't necessarily scream mafia to me, though definitely (and very likely) they might have gotten involved in it before the whole arco thing. i'm thinking mainly the mafia trying to scout/recruit them because they’ve caught its eye or something.

also not to bring down the ire of the fandom upon me lol, because i know it's super common and well established to make fon part of the triads and viper an informant in fanon, but like. i think that's just what it is, fanon? like, someone correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think... it's actually canon? fon especially who's always struck me more like a freelance hitman tbh. i mean in the manga he's kind of a loner lol, and much like skull he couldn't think of anyone to ask to represent him for the representative battle until he fell back on hibari.

i'm less certain about viper, who does demand to be paid for anything anyone asks them to do for them, and has the skills to be an informant, but i don't think it's ever said they do that for the mafia at large? if nothing else they actually say it's just because they believe in reincarnation and want to be loaded when it'll happen to them, so they take every opportunity to get paid lol. and now i say that i do see how you can make them an informant from there, but i'm just saying it's not canon as far as i remember.

anyway, that was just to give you some food for thought, to broaden your options or whatever lol. but of course feel free to go with whatever will fit your needs best.

Well two more headcanons in my askbox~ The rest are scanrios, which will take quite some time…so …please be patient with me owo

Arcobaleno

Reborn

You would instatly know when he’s jealous. He gets kinda possesive over his s/o, appearing beside them - way to close to for any bystander. His arms would sneek around your waist, closing the last distance between you two.

He would just stare at the person who was with his s/o, hoping for them to get the hint that they aren’t welcomed there anymore, that he wouldn’t want them there, but because of his s/o sake he wouldn’t say anything to that person…he knew it would just get rude.

Colonello

He would be pretty open with his jealousy, Walking straight up to his s/o’s said and telling his opponent that you were his and his alone. Even thought he could feel his cheeks heating up after saying that. He isn’t going to give this person have a chance on his s/o.

He would stick close to you even after that. And you would have to convince that there is no need for him to feel jealous - well after hearing you say it he denys that he was even jealous. Like he would get jealous, however a visivle blush would sneak onto his cheeks.

Lal Mirch

She would glare at that person who was beside you. Probably snorting here and there or letting a hearable sigh escpe her lips. Anything that would let her s/o now that she isn’t fond of this situation.

It simply annoys her that someone was getting more of your attention than she would. However she wouldn’t say anything - it’s your thing with who you would spend your time after all. However as soon as you were alone she wouldn’t let go of you - wanting your attention, that you were giving someone else before, cuddling you.

Viper

You wouldn’t get to know if they were jealous or not. The only thing that would give them away would be that they are aften signing heavily, but staying silent even when their s/o was talking to them. They are basically sulking.

They would simply lay their head onto their s/o’s lap without any comment - because they still want to be near you - and keep on ignoring them. It would have to be their s/o who has to figure out that they were jealous. Not that they wouldn’t give away that they were jealous when their s/o points it out - but they would know from their behavier as they were asked.

Skull

Skull would be a paniced mess. What if they decided to leave him for that other person who is with you right know. What should he do. He would have endless conversation inside his head that would get him even more anxious.

He would stay away from the scene with his thoughts, however once his s/o would come to him he would practically jump at you, hiding his face in their neck as he would press you to his body. Not wanting to let go off you. He gets pretty clingy.

Verde

Verde would stare at you in silence. Trying to make out in what relationship you would stand with that person, He could feel the tension inside rise as he saw comfortable you seemed to be with that person he doesn’t know.

He would join your conversation. Asking some dubious ly mquestions with a smirk. Trying to make that person you were talking to uncomfortable, probably even suggesting they could help him with one of his experiments. You would have to cut him off or drag him away, as he gets to into it.

Fon

There is just a very small chance he would ever get jealous since he is quite calm and don’t think he has a reason to get jealous. Its pretty hard to get him jealous. There must be someone actually trying to ‘steal away’ his s/o, Oblivious to the fact that you are already taken.

He wouldn’t stay anything big, just walking beside you with his usual smile on his face and politely talk to his s/o, probably calling you 'honey’, 'darling’ or any other petnames. Making sure the other person would get that you are his, before asking if you wanted to eat/ drink something. Wanting to lead you away.

Yuni

Yuni is quite and also one who wouldn’t want to get jealous. it just doesn’t feel right. However she can’t help it whenever she sees her s/o beeing happy and cheerful with someone for a long time.

She would instatly feel bad, because Yuni wouldn’t want her s/o to think that she wouldn’t trust them or anything like that. So she would get even quiter as she is normally, silently withdraw to some quite place and kinda blaming herself for getting jealous.

Meeting a fan

One day In the beautiful city of Venice, a group of highly dangerous people were walking along its streets.

“SENPAI!!!~” whined Skull

No! YOU CAN’T GET A SQUID!!” Shouted Reborn.

“But why not?” Skull asked

“Because you already have Oodako” explained Reborn.

“Can’t I get her a friend?” Skull asked Reborn.

Once Reborn denied him again, Skull decided to pull out his ultimate move…..puppy eyes.

It came as a shock to anyone who knew of the relationship between the sun and cloud, but Reborn could be awfully pliant at the use of the clouds puppy dog eyes.

“Reborn said NO! Kora!” Collonello said, well more like yelled.

“What my dumb students said Skull, Reborn said no.” Lal Mirch added.

And just like that Skull started to walk faster while sulking.

Fon, Verde and Viper just followed behind watching the interaction with what most people would think disinterest, but to anyone who knew them they would be able to see the massive amounts of I use meant in their eyes, or in Vipers case the slight twitch of their mouth.

All of a sudden

BAM!

Skull groaned in pain when his back met the Italian streets. It appeared that he ran into someone as a lump on top of him had produced a soft ow. Skull got up then helped the small figure rise. Skull looked over the kid he bumped into in case he had any bruises, luckily he didn’t. As the kid looked up at Skull, he gasped and started vibrating in joy and stars in his eyes.

“YOU’RE THE IMMORTAL SKULL-SAMA!” The child shouted.

The arcobaleno (minus the Sky because she a hoe) glanced at Skull, curious to see how the lackey of the group would respond.

“Yeah its me! Who else could manage to get to this level of awesomeness!” Skull replied.

The child got really exited again, but calmed down enough to ask for an autograph.

“Sure kid what’s your name?” Skull asked.

The little child timidly replied “ Izuku…”

“Well Izuku….” Skull started while taking his pen out of his shoe and a pad of paper from his hair.”…keep rocking” Skull gave Izuku the signed piece of paper. Then all of a sudden a woman with green hair rushed up to them.

“Zuku! Where have you been? I’ve been looking for you everywhere, you don’t just run off! You gave me a heart attack!” The woman scolded.

“Sorry mama.” Izuku said apologetically while looking at the floor.

“Come on Zuku time to go home.” Izuku’s mother told her son.

Walking away Izuku waved bye to Skull and the arcobaleno.

Skull waved bye back while having his signature smile.

LATER…..

The arcobaleno are seen lounging around in one of their front rooms. Then something hit them. They jumped up as if they were in a trap…

“WE FORGOT THE GROCERIES!” They shouted in unison…

And so the day ended with the strongest seven having takeout, whilst arguing about anything and everything they could think of.

Okay but headcanons for each of the Acrobaleno as Tsuna's grandparent on Nana's side? I loved your reply about Reborn as.

ALL:

--In all of these, in varying ways, Iemitsu might have Tsuna with Nana, but he sure as hell doesn’t get away with his bullshit. None of them will have it, and all of them have different Consequences™ for him trying it.

All are painful. All are effective.

--Nana? Nana was taught to act a certain way but she’s a Boss Ass Bitch™ and the world is never ready for it, it’s great

--Tsuna will be taught to ALSO be a Bad Ass and no one can tell me he won’t. That’s a baby Sky with a grandparent that is the strongest Flame of that kind’s user, and all the instincts that come with that especially when the kid if actually of their blood. He’s gonna be a tiny little bad ass in one form or the other.

yes, even Skull. Fite me.

FON:

--This means that Tsuna has Hibari blood in him, as does Nana. DO YOU KNOW HOW FUNNY THAT IS TO ME.

--He grows up around Kyouya. Kyouya claims him as a tiny little toddler looking at tiny bby in his Aunt’s arms, and he will literally fight anybody over him, that’s his tiny sky fuck off.

--Tsuna does in fact have the Hibari FITE ME instinct, it’s just so unexpected, because he’s a Hibari that picks his battles and it shows. That his Grandfather taught him to fight??

--Tsuna is very very good at hand to hand, is an absolute mismatched mess of fighting that flows so well together it looks like a single style. Fon is very proud. Tsuna is having fun. Kyouya thinks this is amazing cause it makes him unpredictable in a conventional sense and he loves it.

--He has Fon’s ever present calm. It gives Reborn the jitters cause he recognizes it but can’t place where, and he has a feeling he’s fucked up somewhere but can’t place how.

VERDE:

--Verde is kinda distant, but he pays a hell of a lot of attention. Just because he’s not there often doesn’t mean he isn’t watching.

--He makes it a mission to FUCK UP Vongola Ninth for trying to seal his baby grandson. He succeeds.

--Okay, but Genius! Tsuna???? I’m living.

-- Spanner and Shoichi losing their entire minds over him. ALSO BONDED ELEMENTS IN THIS AU?????? P L S.

--Tsuna has this bad habit of pulling things apart and putting them back together to see how they work, but he accidentally charges them with Sky Flames and it has wild effects that everyone (himself, Spanner, Shoichi, and Verde and later on maybe Gokudera) are INTERESTED IN.

COLLONELLO

--this immediately makes Lal Grandmother, and she’ll argue it, but she loves Tsuna dearly, and absolutely melts when he calls her it, not that it shows.

--this means Tsuna grows up going to Mafia Land, and running into Skull and I love that immensely.

---Collonello is teaching him firearms and army survival shit and living his best life. (Lal is 100% helping and calling it ‘making sure you dont fuck it up and get him killed’)

---Tsuna loves Skull, and her motorcycle and wants to learn i m m e n s e l y. Collonello is kinda jealous and retaliates by teaching Tsuna to drive a tank.

--His childhood is adventurous and rough and tumble and he loves it.

--He’s so well versed in Mafia at this point, and the island loves him. Reborn can’t pull his thing in this au, cause the guards would laugh and wave him in and Tsuna would rock it anyway, including the cannon event Reborn made Tsuna attempt.

VIPER

--OKAY BUT PLS VIPER TEACHING TINY TSUNA TO COUNT WITH MONEY --cries in oh no thats cute fuck---

--Tsuna growing up with very eccentric assassins cause Varia family is very important and they CANT not check out their Mist’s grandson okay-

--oh shit that’s a tiny primo what the fuck

--what the fuck kinda protections are THESE, fuck off that’s NOT quality

--Varia brawls drop to zero when Tsuna is sleeping or Xanxus will get PISSED, as will Viper and Tsuna will cry and everyone hates that even if they dont say it.

--Xanxus loves him very much, he’s an OLDER BROTHER NOW thats HIS Tiny Idiot, who reaching for his flames and gave him a heart attack by grabbing them with tiny pudgy toddler fingers and then didnt get burned okay,

Skull

--wanna see Skull actually truly rage?? Touch his family. Go ahead. Sign that death warrant.

--Tsuna is a tiny little grease monkey mechanic having the time of his life

How about Harry x Reborn's wedding from your Collonello's no good very bad day story?

Ever since Harry had learned about the mafia, it seemed to solve around eighty percent of their miscommunication issues.

Which was a good thing, because she was falling slowly and steadily for the completely ridiculous man.

He cooked for her when he woke up first, he cuddled her when she was sick and he tended to ask for her lap when he had a bad day at work. Such a sweet man, and Harry loved him for it.

So when he asked, she said yes.

Their wedding was held at a bright summer day, flowers everywhere and some of Harry’s neighbors attending because she just couldn’t help herself and had to ask them.

Reborn indulged her and just gave her a budget.

Money had been one of the things they used to argue about, but Harry had realized that when Reborn said he could handle it, he meant it.

The church was awash with flowers and her dress was a lovely combination of white with blue lace. Harry smiled the entire day, her chest light and her feet dancing.

Then, Reborn’s friends came and even if they’d done it without invitations, Harry was too blindingly happy to care and hugged them.

Reborn gritted his teeth and seemed to be on the verge of pulling his gun, which would not do, because what if he hit the cake?

Harry petted his hand, which seemed to do wonders in calming him down.

“We brought gifts,” the smiling lady, Aria, said. She was visibly pregnant and very unflappable.

“Oh, how lovely,” Harry cooed.

“Yes, lovely,” Reborn said flatly. His eyes were shining yellow, which made at least three of his friends flinch, but they were all grinning wickedly.

Harry missed the joke, probably, but she didn’t mind. Close friends always had inside jokes.

“It’s so nice to see you during our wedding,” she said. “Reborn never brings co-workers home.”

Someone choked on champagne and she thoughtfully slid a napkin closer.

Reborn knew that Harry knew about the mafia.

He knew that!

Just sometimes, he forgot that she knew, because she spoke double entendre so well. A secret society she’d spent a lifetime hiding, she’d said. Which really hammered the point.

“What are you fuckers doing here?” he hissed at them.

Colonnello’s smile was fucking annoying him just for existing, as was Skull’s. Fon annoyed him on a daily basis so he didn’t count.

“We just wanted to meet your bride,” Mammon said. “We didn’t realize she was so…civilian.”

Reborn distinctly remembered pointing a gun at said civilian, and having her stare him down.

Civilian. Yeah right.

“You’re all annoying, there’s a reason I didn’t invite you,” he sighed. “Don’t do anything to ruin this wedding. It’ll be on your own fucking head. Harriet has…a temper.”

Their garden was very well fertilized. Harriet hated people who ruined her house, even if she could fix it with a word.

“We’ll behave,” Fon said calmly. That did not reassure him.

Ah, that was no longer his problem.

Aria stopped whatever mischief Skull was planning with Mammon and Colonnello.

She’d dreamed of it last night and winced. Reborn’s bride did indeed have a temper. Civilian, feh.

“This is a very special moment for Ms. Harry,” Aria scolded them, grown-ups who were her uncles and aunt and needed the reminder. “If you ruin this for her, she will be very upset. I will be very upset.”

Faced with that threat, the three of them behaved. And everything went off without a hitch. Even if Harriet had turned to look at them with a speculative look that haunted Aria.
