Wholesome moments
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Formula one grid & female!driver!reader
Summary - 5 wholesome moments
Warning - none tbh, happy crying?? Being drunk??
Reader drives for RedBull
-
One - Late to post race press
I was in my drivers room, relaxing after a race. Strolling through tiktok when my manager, Emma, rushs in looking annoyed. "Oh hi Emma" I offer her a small smile which seems to only annoy her more.
"What are you doing?!" Her tone angry, by now I was confused. Pointing down to my phone which had a random tiktok playing on repeat. "You have the post race press, it was meant to start ten minutes ago but their waiting on you!" It was only then when I finally looked at the time, she was right.
Jumping up from the leather sofa, rushing out of my room toward the conference room with Emma close behind. Walking in, I could see everyones eyes on me. "Hey...so sorry for my tardiness" Laughing at myself awkwardly whilst everyone soon joined in with laughter.
Sit down in my seat between Fernando and Carlos. "So tell us Y/n what was so important that time fell away from you?" Turning my head to Daniel who had a smug smile on his face.
"Well if you must know Danny, tiktok has become very addictive recently" I wore a sheepish smile on my face as the room once again erupted in laughter.
"See kids these days, hooked to their phone" Daniel replied, shaking his head knowingly. It wsm't long before the laughter died down and we started press with myself in attendance.
Two - Prankster
If there was one thing on the paddock that I was known for it would be my notorious prank on anyone and everyone. LIke one time, I posted a instagram announcing 'my retirement'. This meant that I had my phone blowing up, texts, comments, missed calls and etc. I remember about two minute after I posted the instagram, I could a call from Christian. "Hey Chris!"
"What the hell Y/n?! What is going on with your instagram post?" I had to surpress my laughter and acted somewhat sad. He sounded upset, this made me feel almost sad for him.
"Oh yeah I know that its the middle of the season but I found some thing better for myself.." It was going great, I loved it. After a few seconds of silence, he came back to his sense.
"What could you have possible found that is better than not only driving for Redbull but for formula one?!" His voice was soon becoming more and more annoyed, and what I was about to say would set him off.
It was really hard to surpress myself from laughing when I told him the 'better thing'. "Have you ever heard of dog food tasters?" One could only imagine what his head was going through.
Yet again there was a few seconds of an awakward silence, a silence to sit through and not laugh. "Y/n... you're kidding me, you're the fussiest person I have ever met! And you're going to from fucking formula one and redbull to a dog food taster... you won't even drink coffee, let alone dog food!"
I could no longer hold in my laughter, doubling over I could hear Chris questioning my laugh. "Oh my god! You actually believed me, Christian I'm not leave redbull or formula one. I just pranked you" Dead silence until I heard Christian chuckle.
“I should of known, you little prankster” Let’s just say for the rest of the day, my phone would not turn off. Nearly every other driver on the grid calling, anxiety coursing through their heads.
Three - the little weight
It was the yearly FIA prize giving ceremony, everyone swapped out of their uniforms for gowns and suits. Hair and makeup done.
Sat in the buzzing venue, the night of celebrations meant I had not kept track of the amount of alcohol I was downing. Until I was announced as rookie of the year.
Raising from my seat, I made my way to stage. The crowd were clapping and cheering, I could see the other drivers sporting proud smiles.
Arriving to the mic which sat in the middle of the stage, I was handed my trophy. “Oh wow, thank you! I would like to say that I love you all and I’m that I want to thank Alex Turner for this because he is hot!” All it was rambling, I continued to ramble until Lando stood up from his seat.
“Quick question! Y/n how many drinks have you had?” His voice contained both concerns and amusement.
Holding up my free hand with two fingers, almost proudly. This small gesture made everyone burst into a light laughter. “Oh god! You are so drunk..” Lando trailed off whilst climbing up the stairs before walking me off stage.
“Come on, I think it’s time we start getting some water down you and maybe getting you home” He continued to walk me over to the grand reception where we waited for a taxi and drank some water.
-
Waking up the next morning, I was in my bed. Looking over at my phone, I could see a text from Lando along with other notifications probably regarding last night.
‘Hey kiddo, I managed to get you back to your apartment last night. Maybe next time don’t drink as much
Lots of love your big brother’
Checking social media, I immediately got embarrassment as my drunken ramble went viral.
Four - First F1 podium
“Okay Leclerc and Hamilton have a hot 7 seconds gap between you and them, keep pushing” It was the Austrian race and I had somehow settled myself into p2.
My anxiety was on an all time high when I was racing but currently being in p2 made that anxiety worsen. “Copy..” I was focused on getting that podium.
It would be my first podium, and even if I didn’t stand in pole position I would be happy. “How many laps left?” I asked my race engineer through the radio, I wanted to finish the race as soon as possible.
“Only two laps left, you can do it!” Only two that was reassuring to say the least. I could hear crowd cheering but I didn’t let that next my focus from the p2 spot.
“One lap left! Keep pushing!” One lap. One more lap until could stand on that podium for the first time. I accelerated the car, there was no chance I would catch Max but I had to keep that distance from the Ferrari and Mercedes behind me.
“There’s the checkered flag! You can do!” I could see the line and flag waving in the distance, it was only when I crossed the line that I really let my focus go and come to the realisation that I was on the podium.
“I did it! I fucking did it! P2 baby! That’s what I like to hear!” I could my race engineer laugh at my antics of the radio, whilst also tell me that they were incredibly proud.
-
Standing on the podium, I looked over at the crowd. A large smile was planted on my face. “Kiddo you did it! You’re on the podium!” I heard Max who was of course in p1 exclaim beside me.
I was soon soaked in sweet champagne, I didn’t care if it ruined my hair. All I cared about was the position I finished today’s race with.
Five - P1…oh how I like this view
Once again I was sat in the redbull car, awaiting for my the race to begin. I was very lucky to be granted pole position in Monaco of all places. It was tense as we all waited for the five lights to flash out.
And when the did, I was off leaving the wait line in no time. Tackling every tight curve, accelerating when ever I saw someone even get close to me.
I could feel the blazing sun down on my race suit. I could smell the scent of burning rubber. I could hear crowds who had lined the tracks. I could taste the exhaust filled air. But I felt like I had gone blind, just focusing on the track and maintaining my car from any possible damage.
Whilst in pit stop, my anxiety ran through the heavens. Just wanting to get back on the track and end with my win.
I was up against some of the best of the best. And I had to hold onto the pole position, hold onto that winning position.
“Verstappen is just over 5 seconds behind you so not much of a gap, keep pushing when you can” My race engineer was aware of anxiety when it came to racing, but she was also aware of my hunger for that winning position.
“Copy, how many laps?” Once again I was twisting around the narrow corners.
“Three, if you push the gap bigger you’ll probably win!” That’s was all I needed to give me motivation to push as hard as I can.
Pressing down on the accelerator, I heard the rumbling of my car increase in sound.
-
After three agonising laps, I could see the checkered flag being waved. Tears were welling up on my waterline. It was only when I cross that finish line when I then let them fall down my cheeks.
“I did… I’m first” I whispered, so only myself and my face engineer could hear. It was barely audible over the loud crowds who were cheering me on for my first win.
-
Finally standing above the number felt great. I felt tall, empowered, unstoppable and proud. Everyone was cheering as I was handed the trophy. Off to the side were the rest of the drivers who hadn’t won podium stood smiling up at me.
I felt that familiar family love once again. I always did whether I didn’t place top ten or if I had gotten to that first place position. I would be lying if I didn’t feel that love to them in return.

The revolving door of Red Bull drivers within the past decade has always been a topic of discussion.
Webber retires and Ricciardo's in. Vettel leaves for Ferrari and in comes Kyvat. Oops, no Kyvat out, and Verstappen takes his place. Ricciardo leaves and Gasly is promoted to the main team. But Gasly isn't it, and in comes Albon. Nevermind, Albon out and Perez is the man. Or is he?
It's a neverending cycle of one driver in and another replacing him only for rumors about replacements to swirl.
Hundreds of years earlier, similar patterns existed with Henry VIII and his six wives.
This brings forth the question: which wife's narrative suits the most for some of the former and current Red Bull drivers.
Based on the song Ex-Wives from Six: The Musical.
________________________________________________
My name's Catherine Of Aragon
Was married 24 years, I'm a paragon
Of royalty, my loyalty is to the Vatican
So if you try to dump me
You won't try that again
The initial thought for Catherine of Aragon, based solely on being the first wife would be Sebastian Vettel. He's the first Red Bull junior to make it to the main team, take the first win for both Toro Rosso and Red Bull, and win the first championship with the team.
However, Catherine of Aragon is Max Verstappen. Lyrically and based on the narrative, Max Verstappen is most like Catherine.
Paragon of royalty:
This could be translated into a racing lineage. Both of Max's parents were in motorsport. Jos is a former Formula 1 driver, though undeniably nowhere as good as his son. Sophie is a karting and race car driver who competed against Jenson Button, Giancarlo Fisichella, Jarno Trulli, and Nick Heidfeld. Christian Horner in a recent interview on Dax Shepard's podcast eff won with DRS said that he used to kart against Sophie and she beat him.
My loyalty is to the Vatican:
In this situation, the Vatican would be Red Bull. Max's current contract ends in 2028 and he has mentioned many times that he could possibly retire when that contract ends. Max has never talked about a desire to race for another team.
Also, Max is rarely spotted not wearing the team kit. The man is dedicated to the team.
I'm that Boleyn girl
And I'm up next
See, I broke England from the Church
Yeah, I'm that sexy
Why did I lose my head?
Well, my sleeves may be green
But my lipstick's red!
Anne Boleyn is undeniably Sebastian Vettel.
Lyrically and based on the colors mentioned in the song, Sebastian has the makings of the Boleyn girl.
See, I broke England from the Church:
Breaking England from the Church for Sebastian is ending the Red Bull/Sebastian Vettel partnership that had won the team four drivers' championships and four constructors' championships.
Red Bull back then was Sebastian Vettel, they were one and the same. Sebastian got them their first everything and it seemed like a solid partnership until Sebastian signed with Ferrari. Thus, breaking England from the Church, or in this case leaving the team he won with.
Why did I lose my head?:
This is 2020.
Nothing is going right, Sebastian's dropped by Ferrari for Carlos Sainz Jr. Commentators are talking about how he isn't the same Sebastian Vettel and he doesn't have that same level of skill as before, especially in comparison to his younger teammate, Charles Leclerc.
Well, my sleeves may be green but my lipstick's red:
Sebastian retired in Aston Martin green, but he's not going to be remembered as the Aston Martin driver, he'll always be a core piece of Red Bull's history in Formula One.
Another way that this can be interpreted is Christian Horner telling Sebastian that he could always take a year off and come back home (Red Bull) if he wanted after Sebastian was dropped by Ferrari.
Jane Seymour, the only one he truly loved
Rude
When my son was newly born, I died
But I'm not what I seem
Or am I?
Stick around, and you'll suddenly see more
Now, Jane was a difficult one because she could be connected to three different drivers (Sebastian, Daniel, and Checo) at different points in their respective careers. But, in my opinion, based on how the 2023 season has played out, Checo is most like Jane Seymour.
the one he truly loved (rude):
While Checo is probably not the most loved of the drivers for Christian (see: Max, Sebastian, Daniel), the lyric does fit him when put into comparison with Pierre and Alex. Of Checo, Pierre, and Alex, he is the one that was truly loved.
Checo, when not performing to the level that Red Bull wants, has gotten a lot more support than Pierre and Alex. He's also lasted much longer than the other two.
When my son was newly born, I died:
This is Checo's championship aspirations earlier this year.
Just when it looked like Checo could be a legitimate challenger for Max in the drivers' championship, he had a fall in form. After two race wins and only a few points separating them, there was hope that maybe, just maybe Checo could beat Max. But following Miami, Max went on to have a record-breaking amount of consecutive wins. Thus, killing the newly born championship dreams for 2023.
Ich bin Anna of Cleves
Ja
When he saw my portrait he was like
Ja!
But I didn't look as good as I did in my pic
Funny how we all discuss that, but never Henry's little
One thing Anna of Cleves and Pierre Gasly had in common was that they both only had a short union with Henry VIII and Red Bull. However, after the breakup, they continued to be tied to their ex.
Anna of Cleves stayed in England and was a present figure in Henry VIII's life after their divorce, sometimes called his sister. Pierre Gasly was demoted to the junior team, AlphaTauri, and stayed there for a few years.
When he saw my portrait he was like, Ja!:
When Daniel left Red Bull, they needed to bring someone in to replace him, and out of the two drivers on the junior team, they picked Pierre. They saw his portrait (his record with the junior team) and thought it good enough to be promoted.
But I didn't look as good as I did in my pic:
Pierre's time with Red Bull is short-lived, just like Anna of Cleves' marriage to Henry VIII. He wasn't performing like Red Bull wanted, therefore, didn't look as good as he did when they signed him. Which led to a premature end and quick replacement just halfway through the 2019 season.
Prick up your ears, I'm the Katherine who lost her head
For my promiscuity outside of wed
Lock up your husbands, lock up your sons
K Howard is here, and the fun's begun
If Pierre is Anna of Cleves, then Alex Albon is Katherine Howard. Much like in the song when Katherine Howard begins singing halfway through Anna of Cleves' verse, Alex Albon began his time with Red Bull halfway through Pierre's contract.
Prick up your ears, I'm the Katherine who lost her head:
Alex's version of losing his head is not getting a contract for 2021 and becoming a test driver for the team. He spent the year without a race seat and it could have been a forever thing.
Katherine was young and married early, Alex was promoted before his time in his rookie year. Both of them were punished for something that was beyond their ability.
K Howard is here, and the fun's begun:
This is Alex with Williams, but still going to Red Bull events like Wings for Life and hanging out with drivers in the Red Bull "family." He's having fun, showing off his ability as a driver, and just making them think about offering him a contract when his contract with Williams ends.
Five down, I'm the final wife
I saw him to the end of his life
I'm the survivor, Catherine Parr
I bet you wanna know how I got this far
I said, I bet you wanna know how I got this far
Now, Catherine Parr, most would think is Sergio Perez. It would make sense, he's still with the team and he was a factor in winning the 2021 drivers' championship and has scored points for the 2022 and 2023 constructors' championship wins.
But Catherine Parr fits with Daniel Ricciardo. He is, in the sense of Red Bull, the survivor.
I saw him to the end of his life:
Daniel coming into Red Bull in 2014 saw Red Bull at the end of the team's first block of domination and the end of Sebastian's career with Red Bull.
This was the Red Bull downfall era as Mercedes was emerging as the top team. Daniel was the only Red Bull driver to get wins for the team. Daniel was there at the end.
I'm the survivor:
Daniel, unlike Pierre, Alex, and now Checo, was able to leave Red Bull with his head held high and a highly regarded driver. When he left, there weren't rumors of him losing his seat. It was on his own terms. He is, to this day, the only one of Max's teammates at Red Bull to beat him and challenge him over the course of a season.
Additionally, even after a downfall after the McLaren stint, Daniel's come back to Red Bull and is considered to be in contention for the second Red Bull seat. He is the survivor of the six Red Bull drivers. When his career seemed like it was going to end, he came back. In Mexico, he was in the top 10 in all sessions during the weekend and gave AlphaTauri their highest Grand Prix finishing of the season. In Brazil, despite rear wing damage that led him to be a lap down and spending most of the race behind Yuki, he was the third-fastest driver.

THURSDAY HERO: Princess Alice
Amazing story! Princess Alice was an unconventional royal who prioritized helping others over wealth and privilege. She devoted her life to good deeds and spiritual growth, and was notable among European royalty for taking Jews into her home during the Holocaust.
Princess Alice stood out for another reason: she was deaf from birth.
Born in 1885 at Windsor Castle, Alice was the great-granddaughter of Queen Victoria. She learned to lip read at a young age, and could speak several languages. Alice was widely regarded as the most beautiful princess in Europe.
At age 17, Alice fell in love with dashing Prince Andrew of Greece and they were married in 1903. Alice and Andrew had four daughters and a son. Their son Philip would later be married to Queen Elizabeth II. Alice communicated with her children mainly in sign language.
Political turmoil in Greece forced the royal family into exile. They settled in a sleepy suburb of Paris, where Alice threw herself into charitable work helping Greek refugees. Her husband left her for a life of gambling and debauchery in Monte Carlo.
Relying on the charity of wealthy relatives, Alice found strength in her Greek Orthodox faith. She became increasingly religious, and believed that she was receiving divine messages and had healing powers. She yearned to share her faith and mystical experiences with others, but instead was dismissed as mentally unhinged.
Alice had a nervous breakdown in 1930. She was committed against her will to a mental institution in Switzerland, with a dubious diagnosis of schizophrenia. Alice did not even get a chance to say goodbye to her children. Her youngest, 9 year old Philip, returned from a picnic to find his mother gone.
Alice tried desperately to leave the asylum, but was kept prisoner in Switzerland for 2 1/2 years. During that time, her beloved son Philip was sent to live with relatives, and her four daughters married German princes. Alice was not allowed to attend any of their weddings.
Finally, in 1932, Alice was released. She became a wanderer, traveling through Europe by herself, staying with relatives or at bed & breakfast inns. In 1935, Alice returned to Greece, where she lived alone in a modest two bedroom apartment and worked with the poor.
The Germans occupied Athens in April 1941. Alice devoted herself to relieving the tremendous suffering in her country. She worked for the Red Cross, organizing soup kitchens and creating shelters for orphaned children. Alice also started a nursing service to provide health care to the poorest Athenians.
In 1943, the Germans started deporting the Jews of Athens to concentration camps. Alice hid a Jewish widow, Rachel Cohen, and her children in her own apartment for over a year. Rachel’s late husband, Haimaki Cohen, was an advisor to King George I of Greece, and Alice considered it her solemn duty to save the remaining Cohen family.
Alice lived yards from Gestapo headquarters. When the Germans became suspicious of her and started asking questions, she used her deafness as an excuse not to answer them. Alice kept the Cohen family safe until Greece was liberated in 1944.
After the war, Alice founded her own religious order, the Christian Sisterhood of Martha and Mary, and became a nun. She built a convent and orphanage in a poverty-stricken part of Athens. Alice dressed in a nun’s habit consisting of a drab gray robe, white wimple, cord and rosary beads – but still enjoyed smoking and playing cards.
In 1967, after a Greek military coup, Alice finally returned to Great Britain. She lived at Buckingham Palace with her son Philip and daughter-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II.
Alice died in 1969. She owned no possessions, having given everything to the poor. Before she died, Alice expressed a desire to be buried at the Convent of Saint Mary Magdalene on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, but instead was laid to rest in the Royal Crypt in Windsor Castle.
In 1988, almost 20 years after she died, Alice’s dying wish was finally granted. Her remains were sent to Jerusalem, where she was buried on the Mount of Olives.
In 1994, Alice was honored by the Holocaust Memorial in Jerusalem (Yad Vashem) as Righteous Among The Nations. Her son Prince Philip said of his mother’s wartime heroism, “I suspect that it never occurred to her that her action was in any way special. She was a person with a deep religious faith, and she would have considered it to be a perfectly natural human reaction to fellow beings in distress.”

WHERE is the AD18 post you liar 🤕 jk ilysm pls take your time I'm just curious
sorRY I FORGOT OKAY
let me preface this by saying that there really wasn't anything notable about AD18 (Fernando was "retiring" but we knew that for months in advance, Charles was replacing Kimi at Ferrari but we knew that for months in advance, it was Daniel's last race at RB but we also knew that for months in advance etc) most of what I feel about that weekend is probably nostalgia but. It was the ✨️vibe✨️ the vibe was so immaculate. Drivers used to say that the last race of the season feels like the last day of school but 2018 really just captured that sentiment, no one wanted to be there but in the best way possible you know?
Formative event for me personally was Sebastian and Lewis trading helmets. I think what makes #sewis compelling now is how far they've come. But how far they've come also has the added disadvantage of neutering and sanitising what Seb and Lewis were back in the day. I mean 2018 literally started in Aus with Lewis telling Seb he wanted to wipe the smile off his face. At the beginning of 2018 Lewis was a 4 time champion, tied with Seb. Seb said again and again and again that he had a vested interest in Lewis not winning anymore championships, for his sake and for the sake of protecting Michael Schumacher's record. Anyway it was like. WILD and heart-warming and a very big deal
Tumblr media
Re: Fernando retiring. So like. At that point, his last race of his career*, Fernando had already shat on McLaren in literally every fucking conceivable way, calling the engine an f2 engine (gp2), when asked about the very expensive updates on his car he replied "feels good. Much slower than before. Amazing". And ofc in AD18 he couldn't leave without one last jab, his race engineer was trying to gas him up to fight for p10 and he's like "you can fight for that 1 point ☝️ Fernando🔥🔥 1 point is on the table💯" to which he replied "👹I HAVE 1 THOUSAND AND 8 HUNDRED POINTS⁉️👹"
Re: re Alonso retiring, they painted him an ugly ass mural (support artists pls but it looked funny) in the driver's meeting room and during the important drivers debrief while Carlos was giving a lecture about safety or something Daniel lost it and Fernando filmed him losing it
Tumblr media Tumblr media
nothing will ever go harder than this im afraid + obvi it was the champions sending Fernando off with 🍩 but fate is a fan of aesthetics so Kimi who was supposed to do donuts with them retired from the race (I think it would have thrown off the composition of the photo with 2 red cars so I'm glad)
Tumblr media
Lewis offering Seb a Monster and Seb replying "I prefer Red Bull" (<-I Died that day)
During the last Team Principal conference of the year, of course they sat Christian and Cyril next to eachother. And of course they asked him about losing Daniel and the renault engine, to which Christian decided the best way to answer that question is to remind Cyril that while they're both basically the same age, when Christian was the youngest TP in F1, Cyril was working in the kitchen 😭
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In conclusion it was chaos and I loved it so much and it will forever hold a v special place in my heart

Opera on YouTube
I've shared links to complete opera performances before, but I love to share them, so I thought I'd make a few masterposts.
These list are by no means the only complete filmed performances of these operas on YouTube, but I decided that ten links for each opera was enough for now.
By the way, some of the subtitles are just a part of the video, while others require you to click CC to see them.
Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute)
Hamburg Philharmonic State Opera, 1971 (Nicolai Gedda, Edith Mathis, William Workman, Christina Deutekom, Hans Sotin; conducted by Horst Stein; English subtitles)
Ingmar Bergman film, 1975 (Josef Köstlinger, Irma Urrila, Håkan Hagegård, Birgit Nordin, Ulrik Cold; conducted by Eric Ericson; sung in Swedish; English subtitles)
Salzburg Festival, 1982 (Peter Schreier, Ileana Cotrubas, Christian Bösch, Edita Gruberova, Martti Talvela; conducted by James Levine; Japanese subtitles)

Let’s test your speed writing shall we? 😛
Hmm… my favourite number maybe? 38 🥺🧡
38. "Small Talk" by Katy Perry; pairing - lestappen (what a surprise!)
I just can't believe We went from strangers to lovers to strangers in a lifetime
So... Al, this one completely got away from me: it’s um... slightly longer than 5 sentences (2093 words apparently).
send me an ask with a number between 1 and 100 and I'll write a 5ish sentence fic inspired by that song on my 2022 wrapped playlist!
Title: One Day
Summary: The Monaco Grand Prix is cursed.
Day 37
Max always remembers. Charles always forgets.
Max remembers the address of Charles' apartment in Monte Carlo. (Charles told him on Day 5. Not too shabby, thought Max, for two people who were never friends and closer to enemies.) This time, he goes there first. The speech is well-rehearsed by now. It was a blabbering mess on Day 9, and Charles nearly tossed him off the balcony. (Day 10 was worse; Charles actually called Christian, fuck his life, and nearly called a sports psychologist before Max yeeted his phone off the balcony in desperation.) By Day 13, Max had a polished version of 'the speech'. By now, he could probably rhyme it off in his sleep. Not that it ever yielded any better results, so he abandoned this approach on Days 30 to 36. And that got him nowhere either. So back to square one.
He waits patiently for the five stages of grief to cycle past on speedrun; to give Charles some credit, despite the lack of memory retention, he did seem to get over it quicker and quicker each time. Perhaps something of each Day lingered, even if it wasn't remembrance per se.
"So it's always at Nouvelle Chicane or Le Portier?" questions Charles, hands rubbing at his temples.
Max nods, and then shakes his head. "At the Swimming Pool once," he amends. "On Day 12, I think... a crane fell on my head."
"Why was there even a crane?!" Charles groans, scandalized.
Max shrugs. He hasn't even told Charles about Day 31; a jewel thief literally ran across the race track and smashed a briefcase full of diamonds straight into Charles' helmet at 285 kph.
"So sometimes you die, and sometimes I die?" mumbles Charles with a frown.
"It doesn't matter who," confirms Max. "Then the Day restarts with my alarm going off at 7 am."
-
Day 38
"You've got to be kidding!"
Max is trying not to smile, but Charles looks absolutely petulant.
Charles glares at him. "I died at La Rascasse?" He throws both hands up in the air. "Like... how?! La Rascasse! At the hairpin?! I drive faster to the supermarket, mon dieu!"
"This time I think you took Lando with you -"
Panicked green eyes met his. "Oh, putain!" screeches Charles. "Did I kill Lando? Oh my God, oh my God. Max, please tell me I didn't -"
"Relax, mate." Max rubs both temples. Why is he always cursed to remember? "Everything resets. Lando will be fine."
"But are you sure?" insists Charles anxiously.
Max squeezes him gently on the shoulder. A little shiver runs up his arm, and he's not sure why. This wasn't exactly their first physical contact off the track. (Some Days he can remember more vividly than others; he's not quite ready to admit that the hug from Charles is the reason he remembers Day 9 more clearly than the 29 days that followed.)
"I promise," he says softly. "I got both George and Lance on Day 24, and they both came back just fine the next day."
-
Day 40
“Okay, what if we kill someone else first?”
Max is both impressed and mildly alarmed. It really didn’t take Charles all that long to make the leap from ‘wallow in despair about the unbreakable curse’ to ‘let’s move on to murder.’
“It won’t work.” He shakes his head. “Day 17. Toto and Helmut sort of decapitated each other mid-race, but the Day didn’t end until Carlos put me into the barrier.”
“Toto and Helmut did what?”
-
Day 43
"Tell me what happened yesterday."
Max freezes. The ache in his chest hasn't dulled at all.
Yesterday.
“It’s easier if I show you,” he murmurs, as he tries to ignore the sting in the corners of his eyes.
He steps closer to Charles. He hesitates.
The problem is that he has spent 42 Days with Charles, while Charles has spent none of those Days with him.
He laughs inwardly. But then again, Charles won’t remember this Day either, so what does he have to lose?
Boldness, grief, desire - seizes his chest all at once - and he gathers Charles’ face between his hands; for a fraction of a second, he realizes that Charles isn’t flinching, isn’t moving away. He kisses the soft lips, the very same ones he kissed for the first time yesterday.
Charles kisses him back. And it’s like it was yesterday again.
-
Day 61
It’s worse when he is the cause of death.
-
Day 87
No, it’s worse when Charles dies in his arms.
-
Day 90
He’s wrong again. Nothing is worse than seeing the grief in those green eyes as Max dies in his arms.
Max wants to rip at the gaping wound in his chest. Let him bleed out faster. Let it be tomorrow already.
-
Day 91
“Tell me what happened yesterday.”
Max laughs and sobs. (He sobs in joy.)
He thanks all the stars that Charles didn’t remember. That Charles never remembers.
-
Day 113
“I wish I could remember,” confesses Charles. “It doesn’t seem fair that you know so much about me, and I know almost nothing about you.” He traces his hand along Max’s exposed chest, nestling his face deeper into the crook of Max’s neck.
Max lets him explore. He selfishly loves it. There’s a certain awe in Charles’ expression that he adores, the way he “learns” (relearns) Max’s body each time.
“It’s better that you don’t,” he teases, going for levity this time. “It’s the only way I can guarantee you mind-blowing sex every time, like you’ve never experienced.”
Charles punches him lightly on the sternum. (Max smiles; it’s kinder than the mean little pinch Charles gave him on Day 99.)
“Let’s stay in bed today,” he suggests. “No racing today.”
Charles nods, pressing a feathery kiss to his collarbone. “Maybe that’s the trick.”
Max doesn’t have the heart to tell him that they already tried: Day 7, Day 21, Day 78, Days 103-109. If anything, they always died faster.
-
Day 188
“I love you,” Charles tells him.
Butterflies dance in his chest, and Max fights to maintain composure, just like he did all the previous times when Charles said those words. “You’ve only been with me for a few hours.”
“More than half a year,” corrects Charles.
Has it been that long? Max doesn’t say out loud.
He squeezes Max’s hand on their way out the door, on the way to the race track (on the way to their doom).
“Even if I don’t say it tomorrow, or the Day after that, or for a few Days,” insists Charles. “Just remember that I love you. Always. Even if I don’t remember it.”
-
Day 213
Charles dies for the fifteenth Day in a row.
Max prays to a deity that he doesn’t believe in.
-
Day 219
Charles dies for the twenty-first Day in a row.
Max curses the deity he doesn’t believe in. He vows to let the world break its fucking neck if it means he can keep Charles.
-
Day 220
He tries a different approach. He reaches for all the ugly parts of him that he once swore he would never become.
“- and that is why you will never win the Monaco Grand Prix,” he snarls at Charles, even as he feels his chest - his whole body - fracturing. He wants to bite until he bleeds and swallow his own tongue, but he ploughs on for Charles’ sake. “You will never live up to what you promised your father or Jules -”
Charles punches him. Hard.
It hurts.
He’s glad it hurts. Maybe if Charles hates him, like the universe did, maybe then - just maybe - he might live.
-
Day 224
“I didn’t mean it,” he swallows thickly. “I didn’t mean any of it -”
Charles kisses away whatever apology he was trying to form in his throat.
He can’t help but think: If Charles could remember, truly remember, he would never forgive me.
-
Day 330
Today, he doesn’t go to Charles at all.
Maybe he is the problem.
The poison that feeds this curse. He is the constant variable after all, the part of the equation that dooms them to this eternal purgatory.
-
Day 359
Charles tries to go to him.
He never accounted for that.
Max wants to open that door. Just one twist of the door knob, and Charles will be on the other side. Beautiful, kind, brave Charles. He wants -
It takes every might of his willpower to pull his hand away from the door.
-
Day 362
It’s raining. It never rains. This Day is always, unfailingly sunny.
Charles is in his arms once again, bleeding out on the pavement. The rain tries to wash the blood away. Tries to wash Charles away.
He’s crying, but Charles can’t see that, because the rain washes his tears away too.
“I should have been with you.”
All that wasted time. And for what?
He hasn’t seen Charles for twenty-two Days, but the green eyes that stare back at him are calm, even as the life behind them fades with every passing second.
“You’re with me now,” whispers Charles weakly.
“I love you,” he sobs. He doesn’t care if he’s practically a stranger to this Charles, the one dying in his arms. “I’m so sorry.”
When Charles’ eyes close at last, his face is peaceful, almost the hint of a smile tugging on his lips. A little bit of pain departs with the last breath that Max releases before his world fades to black.
-
Day 363
Charles launches a baguette at his head, and Max cannot believe the man still insists that he doesn’t possess a single iota of French ancestry.
“You abandoned me for how many days?” Charles’ accusation makes him flinch harder than the impact of the baguette on his forehead.
“Schat, I -”
Charles growls at him. “Don’t ‘schat’ me! First of all, I have no idea what that means -”
Max makes an offended noise. Charles loves his pet name, if only he could remember.
“Second of all,” continues Charles relentlessly, “I may not remember, but I felt it.”
That causes Max to fall silent.
“Oh.”
Charles sniffs, picking up the discarded baguette off the floor. “I don’t know how to explain it, but even when I don’t remember, I feel all of it. I can feel everything we went through.”
-
Day 365
Some Days are easier than others. He’s not sure which Day this one is yet. A quick, painless death after a long, beautiful day of laughter? They even made it past the actual race twice. (The first time, Charles drowned in the Monte Carlo harbour during the after party; it remains the one and only time he’s ever won the Monaco Grand Prix, which Max continues to tease him about. The second time, Daniel accidentally cracked Max’s skull with the podium champagne.) Or will it be a painful, drawn out death after a gloomy, joyless day? (Max is still embarrassed about that time he slipped on a bar of soap in the shower on Day 81, ending the Day about 15 minutes after it had started.)
Charles lays a bowl of tomato soup in front of him.
(Max once told him that he loved tomato soup. Maybe 150 Days ago. Maybe earlier than that. He mentioned it only once. Not that Charles ever remembers.)
Somehow Charles always remembers.
“So what’s the plan today?” asks Charles lightly.
The morning sun is streaming through the pearly white curtains, and a crown of light dances around Charles’ soft brown curls. A soft breeze through the open window wafts the tangy aroma of tomato soup towards him.
He takes Charles’ hand in his own and pulls him down so he can taste him on his lips.
“Just being with you,” he whispers, and his heart lightens when Charles rewards him with a dimpled smile. “If I have to live one Day over and over again, then I’m going to spend that Day with you.”
He understands now.
He thought the universe had cursed him. Had cursed them. But even a single Day with Charles was a gift. And he got to relive it over and over again. He won’t waste it again.
-
Day 366 Tomorrow
The alarm doesn’t go off at 7 am.
He only wakes up when the warm duvet is rudely snatched away from him, leaving him shivering in the crisp morning air. A pair of ice cold feet burrows their way into the warm space between his thighs, and a whiplash of messy brown hair makes his eyes sting after settling on his pillow.
-
Hope you enjoyed, @alestire
That kind of... spiralled.

Hello I'm very new to F1, do you mind explaining the lore behind your chaos manifestation post please
of course!
nico hulkenberg is infamous for never achieving a podium. he's finished 4th on many occasions, and has had i think several pole positions (his first pole was actually very early in his career), fastest laps etc. he's even won le mans, but has somehow always managed to fall out of the podium places. i am a cruel and petty person who thinks it would very funny if he finally got a podium, especially with haas who are apparently still trying to learn how wheels work, and then had that ripped away from him
the enstone based f1 team currently known as alpine (formerly renault, lotus, renault, and benetton) was once run by a hilariously corrupt italian businessman by the name of flavio briatore with flavio's sugar baby fernando alonso and flop nepo baby nelson piquet jr as the drivers. fernando, who had returned to renault (where he won his world championships) after spending a year psychologically torturing ron dennis with a peach and attempting to blackmail him over mclaren's little habit of copying the ferrari car designs, was sad that the 2008 renault was a bit shit, and to cheer him up, flavio decided to fix a race for him so he could win again. back then the teams refuelled the cars during the race, and renault timed it so that fernando refuelled his car a couple of laps before piquet deliberately crashed bringing out the safety car. it ruined most teams' strategies and a number of drivers had their races ruined. although numerous officials knew that renault had fixed the race it did not become public knowledge until the following year
i personally would need a tranquilizer of some sort to work with someone as annoying and frequently incorrect as danica patrick, and judging by the faces jenson made when having to work alongside her at the las vegas gp he is getting quite close to snapping, which i would personally like to see
i believe that lando holds the record for most podiums without a win, and i think that he would be so happy to finally win a race that he would not let a depraved upper class english stag do (bachelor party) separate him from his trophy. once again, i am a terrible person who enjoys others suffering and i think him losing the trophy and all of his facial hair would be funny
king charles has cancer, and george is a known monarchy fucker. given what the teams/british drivers did when queen elizabeth died i think driving the car straight into the barrier is the logical next step to display respect
the monaco mouse is a serial monogamist who seems to exclusively date brunettes who look basically identical and were all friends with each other because monaco only has 30 people under the age of 30. he is also a bride of ferrari in the same way that nuns are considered the brides of christ so if he's going to write a heartbreak song about anyone, it's going to be the car
imo john elkann seems like the latest in a long line of men who are very, very desperate to map lewis' ballsack with their tongue. he also seems like he's never been told no in his life, and if i were lewis i would be giving the dog that i famously love more than any actual person a bodyguard
during the 2023 season there was a rumour that one of the drivers on the grid had got a woman who was not their girlfriend pregnant. idk if it was specifically linked to carlos or if tumblr just used the power of deduction and homosexuality a la HouseMD to conclude that it was him, but either way i thought it would be funny for a man who seems to have cheated on his girlfriend multiple times to claim that he can't be the father of a baby because he's a virgin
fernando alonso has the charisma and self-belief to lead a cult/and or convert a local branch of christianity to worship him as a deity
erotic literature is popular with women, and so is james vowles

It hasn't even been a week and I already have so many thoughts for what I'd like to see next season lol.
1. I think the search for Gabriel's killer should be left until the second half bc it would be way more satisfying to end the season with that.
2. I'd like to see Tarlos just being married. I'm not saying that there can't be some kind of drama but have them face it together. They've had so much growth this season I would like to see that continue rather than just more miscommunication now that they're actually married.
3. Have the first few episodes focus on Judd and the Ryders and how the 126 is affected by Judd not being there. Have some focus on Wyatt's recovery and how that affects his and Judd's relationship. Maybe have some scenes with TK and Judd. I think this would be a good opportunity for that.
4. This would also be a good opportunity to explore dual-certified TK more. Have him filling in for Judd on some cases.
5. Actually more of the usual rescues. I feel like we didn't get a lot of those this season.
6. More light-hearted episodes. This season was darker than any of the others and I think next season should return to having more light-hearted episodes.
7. Bring Iris back. We could see more of her friendship with Carlos. Also, have her and TK interact. Iris obviously sees a kinship with TK and I think it would be cool to explore that. Plus it would be great comedy to have two of them getting up to shenanigans and driving Carlos crazy.
7. Bring TK into the Robert storyline and see him and Owen interact. Along with that, see how it affects their relationship with Robert's family since Owen helped Robert die is likely going to be revealed. Explore Owen's grief and how it triggers his trauma over Tyler and have him and TK talk about that. And explore TK's feelings since he was so excited to get to know his cousins.
8. More of the other couples. I want to see more of Paul and Asha and learn more about Paul's background through that. And see Marjan and Yusef develop. And Nancy and Mateo. Maybe they have some conflict and we get to actually see them being a real couple beyond a few cute moments.
8. Maybe see TK thinking about his faith more. Maybe a rescue makes him think about it and he contemplates returning to temple. And with that, have Marjan exploring her faith more now that she's with a Muslim partner that she chose for herself. All respect but I think it's time that the non-Christian characters got a little more focus.
9. Have Carlos and Andrea talk about how Carlos’s relationship with Gabriel hurt him and have her actually listen instead of invalidating it. Have him tell her how much it hurts that Gabriel was so distant with him for most of his life and how he died before they could actually have a better relationship. Maybe have him talk to his sisters too. It's possible that they just don't get how hard it was for Carlos bc they have different memories of Gabriel and they weren't there when Carlos came out so they don't know just how bad it was.
10. Have the season end with them catching Gabriel's killer. Maybe Carlos decides to become a detective. He's obviously going to be involved in the search somehow but have him do it right instead of him getting obsessed and going off on his own which would also show the growth he had this season.
I know this is a lot lol. But these are just some thoughts I had. I just hope that the strike can end soon so we won't have to wait too long
Look at you with so many coherent thoughts!!!! I am still reeling and can’t even begin to have ideas like this yet but I would be into every one of these. Maybe Tim is lurking 👀👀👀

Max Verstappen goes missing on April 1st 2026. It is not an April Fool's joke. Still, it doesn't stop Charles checking his shower every evening, the undersides of hotel-brand soap bars, just in case. Maybe it's all a bad dream.
(It isn't.)
Tumblr media
On March 31st 2026, they have an argument. Charles hardly remembers how it started. He remembers Max though: smell sour, there in the apartment but not There. He remembers how it ends: grabbing his keys, the glow of Jimmy's eyes from the end of the hallway, the door slamming.
He remembers after:
Just come home, Max texted.
Charles didn't.
Tumblr media
No one questions the fact that Charles is the one who first reports him gone. Mainly because only a few people know he did: Christian Horner, the Kumpen-Verstappens, Pierre Gasly, Lando Norris.
Christian is unavoidable. He calls Victoria first. Pierre is his best friend. Lando dreams it.
Christian exercises 'ignorance is bliss' for the most part. How do you know? he asked.
He didn't come home, answered Charles.
He could've Died, offered Christian after another moment. Charles can just about hear his heartbeat over the line. It's too fast for the truth — besides, they both know April is not anywhere near September.
Tumblr media
They'd been fighting. The people who know: Charles Leclerc, Max Verstappen.
(The people who know: Charles Leclerc.)
It was over inconsequential things, mainly. His therapist, when he asked her a hypothetical — say two people kept getting annoyed over silly things — said, Often, it can be a deeper problem.
How would they know that? said Charles, worrying over his claws.
Usually by asking about it. By talking about it.
They don't though. Maybe that's the problem.

"If you still could, pizza or pasta?" Carlos asks him.
"Pasta," says Charles automatically. It must be the eighth time he has been asked this year.
"Monaco or Italy?"
"Monaco, of course."
"Sunset or sunrise?" Carlos asks him. That's a new one. For this year, anyway.
Charles says, "Neither."
"Neither," repeats Carlos, grinning. "Not even sunset?"
Charles shakes his head.
"Then what is your favorite time of day?"
Smiling, chest caving in on itself, Charles looks out at the docks at the bright blue sky. "Right now."
Tumblr media
Charles goes through motions:
Racing, because he loves it. (Supposedly if you go fast enough, you can travel through time.)
Hunting, because he has to feed. (There Earth is not limitless; the hiding places are not endless.)
Reading, because it is good to pass the time. (Mysterious Disappearances of the Nineteenth Century.)
Tumblr media
He finds multiple accounts of people disappearing on their Death day or within the few days prior.
Maybe it is far-fetched. April 1st is 182 days before Max's Birthday. 182 is not a significant number on any of the solar, lunar or beluar calendars.
Still. Before, he would stay up, kiss the skin over Max's blue eyes as they dreamt.
Then he would go for walks, think about kissing the skin over Max's blue eyes as they dreamt.
Now he collates excerpts, photocopied library documentation, Wikipedia articles. Soon he'll have enough to write his own dissertation probably. Why The Love Of Your Life Randomly Disappeared: The 143 Possibilities.

Do you think he's just pissy because he hasn't Changed yet? Pierre pondered.
Charles, pacing and unable to find the solace he'd hoped for, shook his head. Max would not be like that.
Have you asked him?
No, was the answer. He hadn't. I do not need to.
Pierre's nose wrinkles. Charles remembers that Fae hate being lied to.

Two days into Summer Break, he flies to Switzerland.
"Charles," says Sebastian when he opens the door. "Nice hat."
"Thank you," smiles Charles, touching the finishing sun hat to his shoulder-to-ankle dungarees. "I wanted to ask you a favor." And, before he has pried off his shoes, reaches into the bag on his back and pulls out the 2021 WDC trophy. The replica, anyway.
Sebastian takes it carefully. "Come on," he says. "This could take a while."
Tumblr media
They come up empty.
"Maybe," starts Sebastian, stops. "Go in with it."
Charles steps into the Ponogan immediately. He's beyond questioning things now. If Sebastian asks him to cut off a leg, he will. He sits, curling his legs around the trophy, fingers finding the row of MAX VERSTAPPEN, MAX VERSTAPPEN, MAX VERSTAPPEN.
Sebastian closes his eyes. The runes on his chest glow louder than before. A large beating fills Charles's ears.
It quietens down after a minute.
Sebastian blinks. He looks at Charles; he smells apologetic. "He is not Gone," he says.
Which is better than he had before, so. "Thank you," says Charles.

In Suzuka, Charles meets Victoria Verstappen. Meets again.
"He said he was having dreams," she says after she has ushered them back into Charles's Driver Room. "He just did not want to worry anyone."
"Dreams?" asks Charles. Of course he didn't.
Victoria nods. "Weird ones, every night. He never told me what they were about, but. He mentioned God one time."
"Max does not believe in God," says Charles, because he cannot think of much else.
"I know," says Victoria. "And he was still Human. I think he thought he was going crazy, Charles."
Why didn't he tell me?
Because it's Max. His brick-headed, independent Max who bulldozers through it all in bright spaces. Because it's Charles. Brick-headed, independent Charles who shoves it all down in dark corners. Because Pierre said have you asked and his therapist said have you asked and Charles said why would I.
Max had been worried about not Changing. Just not for any of the reasons Pierre considered.
Max, who had been having dreams.
Max, who had been having Dreams.

Unsurprisingly, Lando does not take kindly to Charles turning up at his hotel room after the race in the middle of the night.
"I need your help," he says. "Please."
Lando stares at him, nose buttoned up at his soggy clothes. He replies, at last, "Come grab a towel first."
Max does not believe in God; neither does Charles. Let this work, he prays as he steps across the doorway. Let this work.
Tumblr media
Lando finds him still at the hotel three days later, slightly wet with rain. Yuki's signature takes up the front of his hoodie. "I got a thing," he says. "Woke up with it in my hand."
He shoves a flimsy notebook tear-off into his hands. One edge is tentacled; it came off a ring-binder. Charles unfolds it, "Thank you, thank you—" please, please—
Tumblr media
On September 30th 2026, Charles has nothing more than dreams. Almost. Not quite though, not anymore.
Come Home, the note says.
The dining room light is on. He should have more on him than apartment keys and a phone, but that only occurs after he walks through the door. Max looks up from the far seat, a ring of light around his head.
Charles doesn't remember the distance from the entrance to the table being so long.
"I am home," he whispers into Max’s whitened hair. It is soft on his cheek. His nose bumps against the light stapled to Max's skull, his forehead. "You are home." Max clutches at his back.
He pulls away, points to his mouth. Opens it. A hoarse sound comes out. Charles thinks, okay, nods. And then Max points to his face, to the side of his nose-bridge. Charles blinks away his own surprise, leans down and Max's lashes flutter.
"We will figure it out," he promises. "Together."
He kisses the skin over Max's golden eyes.

OC Introductions
Alright here's some new OCs plus a bonus one that conceptualized as I was writing these out whoops (and I'm gonna tag @daughter-of-melpomene since Dolly knew about a little about Aimee and gave me literally all 4 FCs for the 911/911 Lone Star ocs)
OUAT
Aimee Grimard (Charithra Chandran FC), Gabriella Lang ship. Known as Elisabeth Barbot in the Enchanted Forest, her father was a merchant that angered the Evil Queen and her home was burned down and his ship was lost at seat. They had to move to the countryside and work on a farm, where she explored in the woods and found a deserted castle where she met Suzanna. In Storybrooke, she lives and works on the docks, helps out at Granny's and does storytime sometimes for Mary Margaret. When the curse is broken, she remembers Gabriella but Gabriella doesn't remember her

9-1-1
Rowan Buckley (Jake Borelli FC), Josh Russo ship. A cousin to Maddie born a year after Daniel, he also wasn't a bone marrow match. So when his parents died and his aunt and uncle took him in just after Daniel passed, he was also sworn to secrecy to never talk about him. He and Buck weren't very close when they were young as their parents focused more on Rowan as the replacement son for Daniel and Rowan was always very unsure how to be around his cousin, Maddie was pretty much their in between. When he was 18, he left home to go to college for pre-med (inspired by everything that happened with Daniel) and moved to Los Angeles, only really talking to his parents and occasionally Maddie until those talks stopped too. Then when he transfers hospitals, he meets Firefighter Buckley for the first time in years.
Tumblr media
Kaeden Duan (Harry Shum Jr. FC), Evan Buckley & Eddie Diaz ship. Born and raised in San Francisco, he spent most of his childhood raising his little sister since their parents weren't around like, at all. She lived with him as soon as he was 18 though he was training to be an EMT at the time. Then Alyssa got into college in LA and he moved with her, which leads to him meeting the 118
Tumblr media
9-1-1: Lone Star
Mariana Diaz (Jaina Lee Ortiz FC), Marjan Marwani ship. Though her brother Eddie was always her hero and she missed him while he was in Afghanistan, she knew he was having problems. Especially after Shannon left him and Christopher. So, she encouraged him to leave Texas. Screw their parents. And Mariana, she threw herself into her work after that. Fighting fires, that's what she was good at. And then Owen Strand calls her. Her captain knew him and when he was looking to rebuild the 126, he recommended her transfer. So she accepted.
Tumblr media
Melody Lau (Melissa O'Neil FC), Paul Strickland ship. Ever since she was young, Melody knew she wanted to help people. But her family couldn't afford to send her to college so, she looked to the police academy. She passed with flying colors, her only issue was getting employment. Melody started applying anywhere she could, and Austin was the only one that accepted with enough time for her to move. She quickly became friends with Carlos Reyes, and soon meets the 126

The Bright Sessions
Lucas Bramwell (Cody Christian FC), Caleb Michaels ship. A Class B, Level 6 Atypical, he has the ability to control plants. He's been with Dr. Bright for about six months now after being recommended by Agent Green, he does go to school with Caleb but neither have realized the other is an atypical or a patient of Dr. Bright's as he typically stays away from sports and they only share a couple of classes. After he meets Chloe when he's touring her college, he slowly gets more involved in what the AM is really doing and with Caleb
Tumblr media
Aurora Decker (Danielle Campbell FC), Samantha Barnes & Mark Bryant ship. A Class C, Level 8 Atypical, she has the ability to turn invisible. She's a recent patient of Dr. Bright's after she saw her ad, Aurora has always had a hard time controlling her ability which has caused her to have problems in her job. She meets Sam with Dr. Bright's plan to sneak into the AM and they grow closer while on the road trip to look for Mark.
Tumblr media
Billie Foster (Alexandra Daddario FC), Robert Gorham Damien ship. A Class A, Level 5 Atypical, she has the ability of clairvoyance. An older patient of Dr. Bright's, she's helped her get her level down a lot and while Billie probably could get away with stopping her sessions, she's almost afraid to for reasons she doesn't say. She meets Damien when he's waiting around after her session to see Dr. Bright and though Billie didn't like him at first, he kept finding her and talking to her
Tumblr media
Laurence Mercer (Tyler Hoechlin FC), Robert Gorham Damien ship. A non-atypical that works for the AM under the name Agent Poirot, he gets moved from DC to Boston to work with Agent Green and through that he unintentionally meets Dr. Bright. But it's through an accidental meeting with Chloe at a coffee shop that he ends up meeting Damien, who initially dislikes him and Laurence tries to keep a distance, but it doesn't quite work for the two of them
