Deathsaurus was at first uninterested in someone who seemed insignificant. Soon enough, he was enthralled by your odd mannerisms.The way you looked around, avoiding eye contact, to the way you gently flapped your hands when nervous.

Of course, because of his mild interest, he decided to make let you join his crew. He trusted his crew not to harm you under his orders, and he even gave you a personal room. Yes, it was an old closet, but it’s the perfect size for a tiny being such as yourself.

As much as you wanted to, there wasn’t really a good way to contact your exploration company. Anytime you thought of a good way to get a message out or even escape while on another planet, you’d get caught.

Eventually Deathsaurus’ patience wore thin, and he had no choice but to lock you in your room. It wasn’t until the lights went out that he learned your fear.

Since you’re an artist, you’ll have nothing but the best supplies. It doesn’t matter how much, he has plenty of money to spend on your hobbies. Any art you make will be pinned up for everyone to see- how could he not when you made it?

Anything you want-clothes, precious gems, books, a whole planet? It’s all yours. It doesn’t matter if it’s “unobtainable”, he’ll find a way.

Just…don’t try and run. He hates it when you do. He can be very forgiving, but if you push him too far he knows your fears. You don’t want to be locked in your room again, do you? He’d hate to have to turn out the lights again.

One day, he took you to a lovely planet that had a pretty star system. He had you on his thigh, letting you eat from a basket you’d brought. Deathsaurus dropped a necklace into your lap. . She visits the cannon timeline, but only time to time (and only to cause chaos cas she a gremlin fr)

. In her universe, they're missing a couple of people (who are in my basement), but they're only a few 'KIA' Spartan's that ppl tend to forget abt... and maybe 3 or 4 or 10 very alive ones. (Spartèmon, gotta catch em all...)

. Kalmaya is technically a demigod (on the premise that I am a God)

. Kalmaya owns a gravemind (awolololo gang for life yo)

. Kalmaya is also a bi les

. Kalmaya yoinked Umbra and a few other warframes outta their universes when she- actually, this will be hard to explain without writing a story on it (hint hint future me)

. Kalmaya is lovingly nicknamed 'Brutedundee'

. Kalmaya bonked Ballas (because I couldn't 😤)

. Kalmaya beat the living shit out of Chak Lok's corpse (because that's what real heroes do when their bestie gets hurt)

This took a while but it’s finally done!

I’m quite proud of how this turned out. Took me all week to design and draw the character, and took me all day to photoshop this Strife template (I don’t believe in downloading fonts)

Anyway, this is my Usersona for Cloutchase! Think of it as my new online presence (at least until I recolor it for future use)

I’ve put the full drawing, as well as further elaboration on the process, below the cut, and I recommend checking that out too!

I did trace the og template a bit, but that’s cause I suck at drawing poses. The arms are entirely my own design though, so I’m kind of proud of that. The colors were color-picked from previous usersonas so I had a palette to work with

I struggled a lot with the outfit design, and that was mostly due to the limited colors at my disposal. I think it turned out alright, though, even if it didn’t all go according to my initial sketch. For example, I wanted a small ponytail but ended up with two long pigtails. They’re absolutely fabulous though, so I’m very happy with the end result. You can’t make something grand without scratching a few drafts first, after all. I plan to maybe use this design in the future for other things after I think of a new color scheme. My placeholder colors were magenta, purple, and teal!

I actually based the design off of several references from characters I like, or more specifically characters I want to cosplay some day. Those characters were Uzura from Princess Tutu, Sophia from Persona 5 Strikers, Strelitzia from Kingdom Hearts Union X, and Saki from Romantic Killer. All four of these characters also happen to be previous profile pictures of mine from Discord, so I guess that’s why I felt drawn to their designs when creating this new online persona, or “usersona” lol

I named her Muffy (she/her) cause that’s the nickname I’m trying to push for on Tumblr, especially after being called “Kitkat” or “Kat” for about 6 years now. It’s time for a change I suppose. The “McQueen” part is in relation to my blog title as a self proclaimed “shipping queen” but also I wanted to make a Cars joke. The Strife Specibus was a last minute decision, though. I was gonna go with yoyokind but then realized I ALWAYS use yoyokind as my default weapon and I don’t even know how to use yo-yos irl. So instead I decided to give my little chaos child the most dangerous weapon in America that isn’t a gun: pepper spray.

“Peprsprykind” is an actual modus from canon too, I saw it on the wiki hahah. Muffy only has one can but it’s full of GLITTER so she can ruin people’s lives and make them sparkle all at once! However, she does have some restraint of course, it’s only for when she’s feeling evil of vengeful heheheheh. I had a whole conversation with a friend about how choosing pepper spray seemed kind of boring to me at first, but maybe I can do something unique with it. Maybe use it on Amino and watch them swallow it like the ungodly demon they are, who knows?

Anyway, might post the progress video later if I feel like it. For now ima relax tho since this is my first actual drawing in a while that I’m actually proud of, and I’m tired from dedicating a week to it

I hope the @cloutchase team enjoys Muffy’s presence as much as I do

I'm honestly really hyped for the party being split in TLOVM? (Better tag for spoilers cause ima get into it)

Not so much for the half-elves + Percy in the Feywild (though good god so many of my favorite moments are in that arc in canon) but because of the B Team. We all know the two main ships are the more popular of the party, but they're gone. There's no one to take attention away from these guys.

It's Grog, Scanlan and Pike.

Grog, who just stabbed his best friend through the gut after going toe to toe with an ancient black dragon. Pike who was worried about him, who had warned him, and now this. And they'll be in or near Westrunn, where it all started, their home, where Kevdak is. The guilt, the fear, things we see so rarely in Grog, that are going to be at the forefront.

Pike, who just got run through, teetering on the brink of death. Her grandpappy is in danger. Her home is in danger. Her other friends are without a healer - can she even heal herself?

And Scanlan, who just got raised up by a friend, given importance and value, only for both that new friendship and that gift to be stolen away in a flash. With the woman he loves bleeding out before his eyes. Is he the defacto leader, here, now? After all that?

(Plus we might meet A Certain Someone in Westrunn, who I'm eager to meet >:3)

I'm very excited - we have a solid idea of what team half-elf + Percy are going to do, but this is a lot more up in the air and really gives this half of the party a great opportunity to step up to the plate and shine.

YESSS all of this!

I'm so excited for this trio to be front and center in the next batch and get more and more people to appreciate them <3

Adult Precure Ep12 (Finale)

man I only have one word for this: disapponting I know it's my fault for getting my hopes up with toei but still

the story was pretty bare bones basically just "humans are destroying the world with climate change and we have to change our ways to stop that but can only do it if we work together which is hard" the animation was also the bare minimum, with them turning the girls back into their kid forms when transforming into precures as an excuse to reuse the old stock footage from the shows the music and voice performances were good but that certainly doesn't make up for the rest let's not even get me started on shipping stuff, like them giving saki and mai pointless boyfriends that may as well not even have existed in the story

still it wasn't terrible really, I've seen much worse, and it was cool seeing the girls grown up, it just lacked ambition at the end of the day next year we're getting a sequel to mahoutsukai precure (takarie, hocchan and hayamin main cast!!!!) and it's on a late night slot so I'll hope and pray they actually do something with it unlike otona

Imas Million Live Ep12 (Finale)

honestly just the fact that it's CG would knock it down to an 8 at the most, but.... at the end of the day my ratings are for enjoyment and I sure as hell Am Not Immune to Idols and it would be dishonest for me to give it anything else

it's a real shame it's CG, and that the SC anime will be too, especially after U149 had such beautiful art direction, it just made the inadequacy of CG stand out even more. Unfortunately this seems to be the norm going forward, with even Toei's upcoming girl band anime being revealed to be CG as well...

But anyway, the story was good as usual, following the same formula from the other imas anime of having one episode to introduce each girl and then big group episodes, ofc with the much larger cast ML has, instead they did episodes for units instead of individuals but it was still good I already said what I thought about the animation, tho I will say despite all my complaints the CG is actually great, but that doesn't change the fact that this shouldn't be the norm. if it was only during the concert scenes like love live then it'd be fine but not like this. At least it made me not dread the SC anime so much cause I saw it could be serviceable in this Finally, obviously the music and voice acting are top notch, it's imas after all it was just banger after banger and a cast full of talented queens

like it’s canon that baljeet isn’t great at building things (portal to mars episode) and phineas and ferb often go to baljeet for proofs

but they have a HIGH amount of respect for each other

phineas sometimes has a hard time with precision in his math (haha adhd brain move fast teehee) and baljeet is the PERFECT person to help with that

and baljeet has a hard time applying his knowledge on anything but a theoretical basis, so it works out for both of them!

and them plus ferb? yeah they. they could destroy the world in an instant (kinda canon, given the brain smart machine boo the world sucks and ima steal all the oxygen thing)

but anyway, one thing i like to think abt them: phineas is GREAT at history (he likes learning abt people in general and knowing that the ppl of the past were, in some ways, just like us!) and baljeet HATES it

like baljeet does well in history class but that’s only through copious amounts of studying while phineas probably already knew what they’re going over in class

baljeet kinda sorta hates this. but then he sees phineas get hella points off in math class cause he skipped most steps of whatever technique they’re using (<- based off me i’m SO bad abt that) and then he feels better

so like. they’re the epitome of “some people r good at some things and others r good at others”

to the point where when ppl find out that phineas doesn’t know something, they go to baljeet and vice versa

all the while not letting this affect their relationship in any way possible :)

IM CRYING, IM GLAD YOUR OPEN TO MY SHIKANARU CAUSE EVERYBODY I TRY AND TALK TO ABOUT THIS SHIP DOESNT CARE I actually am making a story i just got to get it all together. IMA SHARE IT WITH YOU WHEN I GOT IT TOGETHER it's really just me changing some events in the story and making it where Naruto and Shikamaru end up together. My plans are to have Naruto end up with Shikamaru, I love Sai/Sakura but Ino loves Sakura and i don't understand the Ino/Sai i'm still watching the anime it's just i never finished my run so i started reading the manga back to the part im at and im at ep 145 of shippuden i think? I'm not allowing myself to finish watching it until my story is caught up to where i am. Back to what i was saying I'm thinking of making it Ino/Sakura/Sai but it's more of "This is my girlfriend Sakura and her boyfriend Sai" my reasoning for this is when Ino witnessed Sasuke pull that guys arms out the socket as a kid it traumatized her, made her scared of him and Sai apparently looks like Sasuke, they were saying he looked like Sasuke a little bit in the anime if i remember correctly. it just creeps her out. I don't think Ino really ever liked Sasuke she just liked him cause that's what was cool when she was a kid so the whole rivalry with Sakura was just built on that idea. I was rewatching some scenes and i think, ok i gotta back track a little bit. I headcanon Ino's famliy is the most chill with same-sex stuff, so like if their daughter was gay they wouldn't mind. Ino puts this thinking in Sakura's head but Sakura's not as understanding as a kid and thinking it's weird cause different households (Not saying her parents were homophobic, it's just never been brought up to her before) Ino finally realizes she's in love with Sakura after she comes to her rescue when he hair gets cut that's the whole of what i wanted to say. So from that point on Ino likes Sakura, Sakura still has her feelings for Sasuke and Naruto's crush on Sakura has gone. I noticed he still asked her on dates but ultimately before and after Sasuke leaves it really hits Naruto that Sakura holds something special to Sasuke. Tsunade even notices it when she watches him leave the room to give them a moment after she heals him, Naruto walks out the room and says he wants her to look at Lee but his body language said "Oh im not needed here" and his feelings looked a little hurt. Another thing Neji developing a crush on Shikamaru before and during the timeskip because those two are the smartest in the group meaning they must work together alot even if they weren't in the same squad, Chunin Neji and Chunin Shikamaru being paired up alot is something i look at with shining eyes. But Neji, he notices Shikamaru's crush on Naruto so backs off, this leads him to back to Lee cause i'm a huge Neji/Lee shipper as well. Now, i've been reading this fic i'll include it here (Love Is A Battlefield by MadamZenobia on AO3) my endgame ships are

As for Hinata i'm not throwing her away, just changing her motifs a little i guess? She has a crush on Naruto yes, after him being away for so long she has time to work on herself and find herself more. She does like him but it isn't what's going to make her happy. It isn't because i don't like Naruto/Hinata it's cute it's alright but it doesn't make sense even if i haven't seen the movies or episodes that show it. I feel like Hinata needs to do some self reflecting. Naruto is a huge inspiration to her, she's watched him train, become who he is but those two with a family together isn't something i can see happening even if it canonly happened, when i first got into this i didn't see it coming. So in my story Hinata is happy living her best life being single, watching her friends be happy together has brought her so much peace, even watching Naruto be happy with Shikamaru. (I wanna plan a talk she has with Shikamaru about his crush on Naruto and them discussing their feelings about Naruto so Shikamaru doesn't feel like he just took Naruto from her since from his point of view it looks like she liked him first but Shikamaru's had a crush on Naruto since he meet him, Shikamaru met Naruto first. ) I also have an idea of Hinata just wanting to be a single mother in Boruto, and Naruto/Shikamaru adopting and teaching a orphan both their Jutsu's turbsdfuvbhrsu IT'LL BE SO CUTE

I feel pretty neutral about Sai/Ino, not because I think they are madly in love or anything but in Boruto I like the dynamic I saw of them, plus inojin is my favorite kid so I'm biased here… But I'm also super down for a Sai/Sakura/Ino, with mostly Sakura being the bridge between them!!!

For me, Ino would be a lesbian who had to deal with a lot of compulsory heterosexuality, so she forced herself to have a crush on Sasuke when they were kids because that's just what girls are supposed to do, but after a small breakdown after a fight with sakura she talks to her parents and surprisingly it's them that tell her that she might have a crush on her and they tell her that it's okay if she feels that way and that there is nothing wrong with her.

I think it's pretty accurate that Sakura would be a little reluctant to accept that, but eventually, she does understand that she's bisexual and things become a little easier for her to figure out what she wants and who she wants to be! [Discovering non-monogamy/polyamory is a whole other can of worms so I'm not gonna get into that here unless you want me to!!]

I'M SO GLAD YOU BROUGHT UP NEJI AND SHIKAMARU. Okay I know they're not your main pairing but a few years ago I read a fic of them that to this day has a place in my brain, I will leave linked it here if you're interested

But yes, for our shikanaru endgame purpose, Neji is very perceptive so he kind of always knew he never really had a chance here, he backs off, and eventually, his feelings for someone else grow which is how we get to neji/lee!!

Also thank you for the fic rec, I'll try to give it a read soon <3 Sasuke and suigetsu is such an interesting ship, I never got into them fully but their dynamic is so fun!

I like your take on Hinata, for me, i ship her with Kiba, he was so in love with her it's crazy, I don't know if you noticed the signs but they would have so much potential, honestly a throuple with shino would work too. But I also really like your take on her talking it out with shikamaru and realizing that her feelings for Naruto lean more toward admiration than actual romantic love, would love for her to have a happy life, would also really adore seeing her become the head of the Hyuuga clan and start making the changes Naruto promised Neji he would do it (and he never actually did it)!!
