olivia listened to his question, choosing not to directly answer - did she cause chaos? sometimes. did she enjoy it? also sometimes. "an unusual night you say? why so?" the blonde asked, turning her attention to him.
"You... You're..." Elijah had to think about it for a moment before he answered. "Do you try to cause trouble for all those around you? I feel as though you'd be very good at it in an underhanded, get out of there without any scrapes kind of way." Still, it had made him chuckle. He'd seen plenty of people like that in his line of work who stirred up a situation and walked out scot free. It was impressive though definitely a talent that had to be used wisely. "Not normally. But this has been an unusual night."

"i don't know i feel like glitter sticks to everything - even 5 years later you're still finding glitter hidden in crevices." the blonde admitted, shrugging. "and it takes so long to break down and decompose - not great for the environment." olivia was honest, shaking her head in disappointment.
"No, I don't have a favourite colour. Just like milkshakes, kind of. Really, I can't pick. They're all beautiful," April explained, somehow back in a favourites conversation with the other, "However, glitter is a one constant. You can't go wrong with glitter," she added, laughing as he shifted the skirts of her dress.

"mhm maybe a strawberry daquiri?" the blonde replied. "their sweet enough and they kind of taste like lollie water, so i mean what more could you want in life?" olivia joked, a small laugh leaving her lips.
"Thanks– I think?" she considered with a laugh. "That's good," Ingrid smiled. "I was maybe going to get a martini? How about you?"

"i mean if you're offering i certainly won't say no." the blonde replied, shrugging. "what flavour is it?" olivia questioned, taking the fork from the other. "one bite i promise."
Jonah picked the pie apart and ate it. When he looked up, he saw someone looking, "What? Is that judgement or did you want some?" he asked, holding it up.

olivia waved off her apology. "it's all good - i get it not wanting to be caught by your siblings doing something not so saintly." she grinned widely, shrugging. "yeah i guess i could do that for you, i mean even if you were to point him out i doubt i'd recognise him."
"Shoot!" Alice whispered, stubbing out her cigarette when she thought she heard footsteps. When she saw that it wasn't Frank, she laughed, "Sorry, I thought you were my brother. He wasn't very happy to catch me smoking earlier," she replied in an amused tone, "Promise not to tell him?" she asked, smirking as if she even knew who her brother was.

she tilted her head to the side, contemplating his invitation before nodding. "no i imagine it's quite rude to keep you waiting." she teased, offering him her hand. "it's one for the memory books of course, when i'm old and grey i'll tell my grandkids of the suited up man who i danced with years ago."
"You're not going to make me dance all by myself, are you?" Tucker pouted at the other playfully after he'd invited them out on the floor. "I'm even wearing a suit and everything– this is a rare occasion, I wouldn't pass up on it if I were you."

"thats true, but i suppose you could just do every time you take offense - and if my calculations are correct you'll be passed out sooner rather than later." she smiled innocently. "you're very defensive, thats all i mean."
"These shoes are a wonderful choice. They are designer. I have good taste." He almost seemed to sound a little defensive of them from the way he immediately jumped to support his choice. "I may not be as big a drinker as I used to be but I'm capable of keeping up if the situation requires it." And tonight definitely felt like one such event if he wanted to survive it. "But 'weird looks' are subjective."

'i don't hate it." the blonde admitted, looking over the others outfit. "yeah i am actually, it hasn't been too bad overall." olivia was honest as she turned to look at the bar. "yeah i think i will actually, what are you thinking of getting?"
"Apparently my Halloween costume has inspired my personal wardrobe," she joked lightly as she smoothed down the fabric of her dress. "Are you enjoying yourself tonight? I was just on my way to grab another drink– would you like to join?""

she paused as her eyes scanned the crowd, thinking about his proposal. "yeah okay you're on." the blonde admitted, nodding eagerly at the bet. "kissing at new years is so overrated. - you're either kissing your partner or some stranger you'll probably regret later on."
"Okay, shall we start taking bets?" he asked, taking a seat next to the other, looking out at the crowd of people. "Who do you think is going to kiss tonight? I'd say this is for real, but I feel like wrong answers only would be more fun."

olivia let a laugh escape her lips as she glanced down at the others shoes before her attention returned to his face. "well i mean they certainly are a choice" she teased. "i mean i think if you keep throwing those drinks back you'll have no issue - maybe make a game out of it, for every weird look you do another shot?" the blonde suggested.
"Yes, these shoes are meant to look like this and no, this glass of wine is definitely not big enough to drown out all the stupid questions I'm being asked today by patrons who are slowly becoming more and more drunk the further the night progresses... and this is coming from someone who works in a school and is used to showing patience and understanding. Then again, children aren't this embarrassing. Merlin, save me or just get me inebriated enough that I don't care any more please." He cursed out to thin air afterwards.

"it tastes like chocolate mixed with toothpaste." the blonde deadpanned as she looked at the other. "you can't be serious - why would i want mint in with chocolate?" olivia screwed up her face.
"No, no, absolutely not!" Alastair exclaimed, "Mint chocolate chip all the way man. Every single time. If you haven't tried it, you haven't lived."

"it sounds like you're talking about children." the blonde admitted, swallowing her mouthful of drink. "you know they don't actually have emotions it's okay to choose one."
"I wasn't arguing. Only saying I don't have a favourite. I love all milkshakes equally because they're milkshakes."

"well no - but i'm pretty defensive." she admitted, shrugging. "don't you get defensive about things you love?" olive questioned.
"Why would I deny it?" Ronnie asked, "It's obviously the right answer. Have you heard me argue?"

"don't you find chocolate too over powering?" the blonde questioned, her eyebrows furrowing. "as a child sure it was the greatest thing on earth but as i get older my tastebuds have refined." she joked, a grin on her lips. "i just don't know about it anymore."
"You can say whatever you like," Ciara replied, "It's obviously chocolate milkshakes and I will die on this hill. Even better if it's double chocolate."

"honestly? no - i've eaten nuggets there but i've always just ordered coke." olivia was honest. "why are you going to tell me it's life changing?" the blonde questioned, arching her brow.
"No, it is obviously banana," Tristan argued, "Have you never tried the McDonalds milkshake?" he asked.

"plain jane." she responded, nodding. "respect - i like when people are able to be straight up and forward about what they like." olivia admitted, shrugging. "sounds like you know yourself pretty well."
"I've always been a vanilla girl myself," she admitted. "I think it's because they're so sweet to me to begin with. I like to go simple. I can understand why strawberry is popular though."

"salted caramel is pretty good." olivia admitted, nodding her head at the thought. "strawberry just reminds me of that cartoon character - strawberry shortcake?" the blonde added, shrugging. "did you ever watch it?"
"I like vanilla or even those salted caramel ones the most," Dominique admitted. "I'd never complain about strawberry though. They're always great, no matter where you order them from."
