Okay add to my list of "This better be in the new seasons or I'll riot" episodes:

I need a Linda-centric episode where she either almost discovers or DOES discover Perry's identity and then some shenanigans make her forget

Every other member of the Flynn-Fletcher family has discovered Perry's secret at one point or another. Hell, we've had scares with Jeremy and Buford as well, and OBVIOUSLY we've got Stacy under the belt.

The closest Linda has come is the scene where they pull up next to each other at a red light and Perry throws a fake mustache and glasses on.

And Linda has the BEST opportunity to discover him outside of the kids (who hang out with him more and ALSO hang out with Vanessa semi-regularly)

Picture please: she and Charlene have a girls day of some kind, but before they start Charlene has to swing by Doofs for some reason or another and one of two things happens - either she and Doof recognize each other and awkward shenanigans ensue, or they DONT recognize each other but she and Charlene get roped into whatever scheme he's doing

Perry is of course over it all.

Fantastic plot is RIGHT THERE and if they don't give us at least one Linda-centric episode I'm gonna lose it

it’s wild to me that Irving is just like, and accepted friend of the group and goes on several of phineas and ferb’s adventures when he literally came into the picture by stalking them and just coming into their house with a full ass scrapbook of phineas and ferb’s inventions

One of my favorite things about Phineas and Ferb is how Perry somehow comes off as a more talkative character than Ferb, even though Ferb talks once or twice an episode and Perry talks never. Perry is so visually expressive you can almost forget that the secret agent subplot in each show pretty much consists of Dan Povenmire as Doofenshmirtz monologuing to himself; every one of those scenes reads visually as a complicated back-and-forth conversation between two very different characters with strong, stubborn personalties. At any given moment, you can tell exactly what Perry the Platypus is thinking and what he would say if he could, which not only makes him the ideal figure to react to the endless ranting of his nemesis but also gives Doofenshmirtz something solid to react to (when he says a line like “Perry the Platypus, you’re making this harder than it needs to be,” we know he has good reason to say it). 

Ferb is “quieter” than Perry because of his near-total lack of expression. His occasional verbal asides are funny because they’re our only way to glimpse his thoughts, which frequently take us by surprise (it turns out he’s in the inventing game “for the ladies”; after deadpanning his way through an entire episode in which his partner in crime breaks down beside him from summer-scheme withdrawal, he declares, “If we hadn’t been able to invent something soon, I was going to scream.”)

The surefooted way that this show uses writing and visual cues to achieve comedy on multiple levels is really something else.

A Phineas and Ferb Family Christmas

Summary: The boys decide to put on a traditional family Christmas special featuring their family, friends and a few very special guests, including Kelly Clarkson. Meanwhile, Doofenshmirtz is confused by the sudden onset of Christmas and rushes to get ready for the holiday.

Personal highlights: Isabella's rendition of Let It Snow is my favorite of all time

The Inator Method

Summary: Phineas and Ferb create their own model solar system and have a planet race while Candace tries to multitask by doing her chores and playing a Ducky Momo game at the same time. Meanwhile, Doofenshmirtz leads a motivational seminar for inventors.

Personal highlights: Buford sells their invention for 5 bucks

Perry Lays an Egg vs. What a Croc!

Perry Lays an Egg

Summary: Phineas and Ferb find an egg and believe it's Perry's, and they take care of it until Candace decides to teach them how to properly take care of an egg. Meanwhile, Heinz Doofenshmirtz plans to get revenge on whales for stealing his old girlfriend.

Personal highlights: Doofenshmirtz holding a bucket, "I just insulte the macaroni and cheese recipe of a whale!"

What a Croc!

Summary: When the boys learn that the famous Crikey the Crocodile has gone missing, they set out to find and return him to his home at the Danville Nature Preserve. Meanwhile, to Candace's amazement, Irving reveals his digital scrapbook compilation of all of Phineas and Ferb's wild creations. Dr. Doofenshmirtz plans to embarrass his brother by using his 'Chicken-Replace-inator' to replace Roger's mayoral award with the nearest chicken.

Candace Gets Busted vs. The Belly of the Beast

Candace Gets Busted

Summary: When Linda and Lawrence take a trip, they entrust Candace to be in charge of the house. Candace calls some of her friends over for a small get-together, but when throngs of uninvited guests start to participate, it isn't long before it swells into a wild party. Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz intends to get rid of the condominiums blocking his view from the local drive-in.

Personal highlights: Candace Party, one of the episodes that makes me feel the most bad for Candace.

The Belly of the Beast

Summary: For Harbor Days Festival, Phineas and Ferb celebrate by creating a mechanical version of the historical elusive shark of Danville Harbor. Seeing what the boys are up to, Candace enlists some help to capture the mysterious shark. Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz invents the 'Salt Water Taffy-inator' to give cavities to every kid in the Tri-State Area.

Personal highlights: Candace throughout the entire episode is amazing, "Curse you Perry the Pla - typus!"

Operation Crumb Cake

Summary: Isabella sends a letter to Phineas admitting her true feelings, but instantly regrets her decision and desperately tries to get it back. Meanwhile, Doof invents an Unretrograde-inator to reverse his bad luck.

Personal highlights: I Need My Letter Back, Phineas unbuilding everything

Great Balls of Water

Summary: When Candace thinks Jeremy is bored with their usual hangouts, she sets out to find something unique to do with him. Meanwhile, Phineas and Ferb power through town surfing on a giant ball of water and Doofenshmirtz plans to use his Double-Negative-inator to confuse his local eatery into giving him a wintery drink that is usually not served during summer.

Personal highlights: Standing in a wheat field
