The Other Side of Our Peaceful Lives
Obtainability: Limited to purchase through the Agent Magica Event Shop.
MLB Effect: Blast Damage Up [30%] & Charged Attack Damage Up [10%] & Accele MP Gain Up [15%]
Effect Definitions:
Blast Damage Up is a straightforward buff that means Blast Discs will deal more damage. Blast Damage Up has a capped percentage at 100%.
Charged Attack Damage Up will cause the target to cause more damage from their Accele or Blast discs if used after a charge disc. You’ll want to use this memoria on the character who is using the charged attack, not the character(s) setting up the charge discs.
Accele MP Gain Up will increase the amount of MP gained by using Accele discs.
TLDR: It's bad.
Review: I could go into endless detail on why this memoria isn't great, but you could also just read the review on a memoria that is this one's exact copy:
(Limited 4*) “The Eve of Awakening” Blast Damage Up [30%] & Accele MP Gain Up [15%] & Charged Attack Damage Up [10%]
Basically none of the effects really synergize all that well (besides maybe charged attack damage up and blast damage up) and the percentage offered by each is poor. You could use this memoria if you're missing good memos to equip but that shouldn't be too necessary unless you're super new to the game or someone took hold of your account and deleted everything, in which case you have bigger problems than memoria selection.
Use this as Enhancement Fodder or something. You can do better.

like yea I've had DMPCs before but Liadra was my first one in Pathfinder so she's got a special place in my heart.
All her wildshapes have little cheek feathers and scarring for matchies.

Level-up post: Bells Hells L13
girl help usually I draft these well in advance but I forgot about this one so it's going to be a little shorter and probably less pithy. Anyway as always: corrections on errors appreciated, but if I didn't list every single possible spell or feat someone could take then that's because I don't care. And, because we do the level-ups like this rather than at the end of a session, this will include L14 speculation. Without further ado:
Everyone's proficiency bonus goes up to +5, and the non-multiclassed full spellcasters (Imogen and FCG) get access to 7th level spells.
Chetney: Chetney took another level in Blood Hunter, granting him an ASI/Feat. On the one hand, his wisdom score is odd and so an ASI to that makes sense. On the other hand fuck WIS forever and ever amen; CON, STR, and INT are all way more important for him and for this party. Orym can perceive enough for everyone. L13 Blood Hunter is a nice one that grants him an additional use of blood maledict, as well as the Brand of Tethering which is both thematically appropriate for the campaign and could REALLY ruin Ludinus's day.
Laudna: Another sorcerer level, which grants her more metamagic, and Marisha said in the video she'd be taking Empowered Spell. She also learns another spell up to 5th level, and another cantrip. Frankly I have no idea for cantrips since between two casting classes with cantrips, her subclasses, and spell sniper, she is Cantrips Georg, but Seeming and Teleportation Circle are both pragmatic options that would help the party; Creation and Insect Plague are both aesthetically apt; and Dominate Person, while coming from her sorcery, does have that touch of Delilah. Looking forward I must admit that warlock is infinitely more useful and interesting but it's probably wiser to get 6th level spells.
FCG: FCG's main improvement here is access to 7th level spells; these are pretty great for clerics. I am personally a fan of Divine Word, and Plane Shift seems likely quite useful, but Regenerate and Resurrection are good to have available. L14 for clerics is quiet and simply improves their ability to destroy undead, as is 15, which grants them 8th level spells.
Fearne: Fearne took a 10th level in Druid, granting her another cantrip and another 5th level spell. She gets Cauterizing Flames, which is a little like Wither and Bloom or some of the Circle of the Shepherd features: when a small or larger creature dies within 30 feet of her or Little Mister, she can use a reaction to either heal a creature within 30 feet of the dead creature, or deal fire damage to it. This may become immediately useful if we're fighting Liliana or Otohan. I am hoping she levels up to 11 in Druid at the next level up, which would give her Transport via Plants and Wind Walk access, making the party a little less reliant on Keyleth. As for her cantrip, I'm thinking Druidcraft would be fun since she doesn't have it and it's been so useful on Ruidus.
Imogen: Imogen gets 7th level spells, of which Teleport is a clear winner, particularly since FCG can take Plane Shift, but there are some of my favorite damage/fuckery spells in there (Prismatic Spray, Reverse Gravity, and Delayed Blast Fireball). Level 14 gives her Revelation in Flesh. I must admit I'd be more psyched about this if she'd leaned into the slime aspects of the subclass, but I am interested in seeing how it gets modified because I don't think she should get the swim speed if she won't grow weird cilia and gills; the other features can stay though.
Orym: In addition to having the stupidest passive perception score on the moon, he also gains another use of indomitable. Level 14 gives him an ASI/Feat and really he can't go wrong here; because he got feats from his pact I'm thinking an ASI to CON to make him even more of a tank would be fun, but fighters get so many feats that he can really go nuts.
Ashton: Base barbarian ability of Brutal Critical goes up to 2 dice from 1, giving them the ability to do more damage when they crit. Eyes peeled for his next level-up, when he gets his final Path of Fundamental Chaos feature!

Dreamtale + Fran Bow au I made forever ago and decided to finally draw. I know they look iffy but I haven’t drawn these guys since 2017 😅
Dreamtale belongs to @jokublog
Fresh belongs to @loverofpiggies
More info below the cut! Also, will either update this post or just make another one if I ever add onto this au I know a lot of this makes no sense but pretend it does
•Dream was taken to the asylum after waking up from stone
•The pills are dark apple seeds, the damage around Dreams eye worsens each time he takes them. He can’t feel the breaking due to the negativity from the seeds
•Fresh isn’t a childhood imaginary friend like Itward, he instead spoke to Dream while he was stone
•Passive!Nightmare’s spirit escaped his corrupted body into the cat the Corruption killed(don’t know how this works yet, I’ll figure it out)
•Fresh always has the chorus of Funkytown by Lipps, Inc. playing faintly around him, you can’t hear it unless it’s really quiet but it really does ruin the creepy vibes quite often—adding on to this, he can control the volume but can’t turn it off. He just blasts Funkytown sometimes
•Corruption sounds like Passive!Nightmare but distorted, echoed, and jittery. He also does owl noises when hiding in the dark
•You can constantly hear cracking and a very faint lullaby from Corruption
•Dreams vision from the damaged eye is all purple
•Fresh’s glasses text are always yellow, except for when he’s talking to the twins, (don’t know who they are yet), then they’re blue
•The fan on Fresh’s hat is constantly spinning slowly, but gets faster when Corruption is around. Corruption hates the hat.

Another possible part “Security Guard Himbo”
Let’s say M/n’s flower shop gets broken into and wrecked. Levi of course figured out what happened and helps the reader out. Possible angst and fluff ✨
(Also love your fics! Hope your having a good day/night depending on when you read this <3)
Yesyesyes
Fuck yes
God I loved this mini series
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
(Name) let Levi buy him a flower, the model wanting his boyfriend to have the absolute best he can provide and seeing (name) in his true element... Was hot to Levi.
(Name) was completely different than when he did security, smiling and helpful to customers and helping elderly people get their flowers to their cars and small children pick out a good plant to start with.
Then there were the people Levi wanted to strangle, the Model having come in with lunch and his new security guard when he saw his puppy boyfriend oblivious to the young woman flirting with him as he dutifully put an arrangement together for her "and your total is 62.95" (name) said politely, actively looking away when the girl bent over a bit to show off her chest and perked up when he saw Levi "baby!" (Name) chirped out and went from behind the counter to greet him with a gentle kiss.
The girl looked floored at the interaction, Levi glancing to give her a warning glare as (name) chatted about the shop "so many people came today! I think my sign really worked!" (Name) said but Levi knew it was because it was run by a buff hottie that was his boyfriend.
"It is a good sign" Levi commented passively and watched as (name) completed the transaction and the girl scurried off "let me make you some tea, would you like some?" (Name) asked the new security guard who looked startled at the florist, slightly entranced by the buff man but looked away when he felt Levi's stare on him.
"A-ah no thank you" he said shyly and (name) nodded before going to the back to get his boyfriend some tea "so what's your name?" (Name) asked the new security curiously "Marco, sir" the brunet was kind of in awe at the man before him, the person who had his position.
The lunch was spent relatively relaxed though Marco could tell (name) was hesitant about him and he couldn't blame him as Levi was not only one of the top models globally but the florists boyfriend.
"I have a shoot to go to but I'll see you after, yeah?" Levi said to his boyfriend who nodded obediently before kissing him gently.
"I'll miss you" (name) said softly as they parted,(name) nodding to Marco to silently tell him to keep his boyfriend safe.
(Name) was at ease as he closed down shop, Levi sent him pictures of the shoot and (name) was swooning at how cool he looked.
Though he did avoid any news articles because Levi didn't want (name) to have to think about that.
(Name) snuggled Levi, the black haired man resting against his chest without a care, the room dark from the night sky when his phone blasted.
"Shit--" (name) quickly checked his phone to see it's an alert for the shop, a break in.
(Name) and Levi rushed to the shop, the police already there as they took in the damage, completely vandalized and torn apart as glass and dirt was thrown everywhere.
Levi hated how heartbroken (name) looked, talking to the police and getting a statement and the likes before checking the footage and his heart sank at the carnage the perpetrators raised.
The shop was closed off as it was now a crime scene and (name) was silent as they drove home "I'm sorry baby" Levi was soft with his boyfriend, unused to seeing him so distressed as night streets had minimal traffic "I just... Why?"
"People are pieces of shit... I'm sorry" Levi said taking his boyfriends hand and kissing it "I'll call a guy I know to fix the damages and we will get the best security we can get" Levi said earnestly to (name) as they parked in the garage, the buff man melting a bit under the others soft touch "let's go to bed yeah?" Levi led the other to their room and snuggled him on the bed, letting the buff man be little spoon as his face was hidden in Levi's chest.
When the police did their investigation, Levi already had people on to fix the shop and everything as he forced his boyfriend to look pretty for him and accompany him to a shoot, letting him hang out in the dressing room and work on a few promotions.
(Name) was still on edge but Levi made sure to kiss those fears away and when the people who vandalized the shop were found, Levi wasn't surprised that they were... Fans of his.
Less than 24 hours later Levi's official twitter issued a statement about how appalled he was at this and how real fans should be happy for him and not attack his partner or his business.
Six months later the shop was thriving better than ever, the buff man always bringing home beautiful bouquets for Levi who usually didn't care for flowers but... They were from his boyfriend so he was swooning a bit.
But (name) didn't need to know that.

little splatoon 3 salmon run observations/tips? I have made in my time playing (and also splatoon 2 I guess for applicable bosses) - if you fully ink over a flipper-flopper’s ring, no salmonid attacks/passive abilities will be able to re-ink the area until the flopper either is killed or recovers from stun, this includes missiles, steelhead bombs, steel eel trails, and the ink trails lesser salmonids leave behind from moving around. meaning it creates a temporary small area where you can swim freely without having to worry about rogue ink trails slowing you down
- at least in my own experience, drizzlers will typically aim their weather-bomb for the player that’s closest to them when they begin to take aim, meaning that if you are right up against a drizzler when it begins to take aim, you can use this to your advantage to CHOOSE where it aims its bomb, which also means you can just make it shoot it off into the ocean or another unoccupied area of the map where it will do minimal harm to other players
- a stinger will (usually) aim for the furthest player away from itself, meaning if you’re on low tide and want to give your teammates a break from rogue stinger fire, head to the back and for high ground as a way to draw their fire to you in an area where it’s less crowded and easier to dodge (and off of your pals)
- steel eels, for obvious reasons, cannot follow you up fish stick posts. steelheads also have difficulty aiming their bombs at you if you’re on top of a post and will usually just stand there staring at you instead of trying to attack you (UNLESS they’re on equally or near-equally high ground to you). that’s it. that’s the tip.
Some additional weapon tips:
- e-liter can one-shot steelhead bombs, steel eels, slammin’ lids, scrappers (only from behind), and unmasked flipper-floppers. it can also INSTANTLY pop a griller into its stun animation with a direct hit
- dynamo roller is able to run over cohocks without them needing to take chip damage first, prioritize rolling over flicks if you find yourself cornered by lesser salmonids if you get this weapon
- most blasters are able to one-shot stingers by aiming at the middle of their stack, as the explosion will take out the pots both above and below where you aimed. inkjet shots can also take down a stinger in one hit due to the blast radius when the shot connects
- every kind of roller EXCEPT the carbon roller can one-shot chum by just rolling over them, if you have a roller during a glowfly round, just stand in one place with the roller DOWN (preferably in an area the salmonids running at you can be bottlenecked easily) and gently nudge forward to clear out the chum while waiting for goldies
- the tenta-brella chute does enough contact-damage to one-shot both smallfry AND chum. if you’re cornered with this weapon by lesser salmonids, keep the chute open as much as you can until you can get to safety (this, like rollers, can also be used to protect your team during glowfly rounds)
- a fully charged shot from the grizzco bow will do as much damage to cohozuna as a shot from the egg cannon does, so if you’re able to, save power eggs for taking out other bosses rather than using them on cohozuna if you’re given this weapon and just hit him with charged shots instead
- common knowledge I know but explosher is able to take out flyfish bins without the use of a bomb, in addition, the crab tank’s cannonball and a shot from the inkjet gun can also do the same thing in a pinch

Amidst the current Yuu hype (which is only natural considering we´ve been teased for like 4 years now) I want to return to a new mechanic that was released not too long ago: Brand new personal memoria given to us in the Alinas Atelier event.
You´ve probably seen them around before: Ren can burn her HP down to 20% and gain enough MP for an instant Magia, Shizuku carries 50% chance to crit and Natsuki gets permanent MP regen and so on.
Now this opens up a lot of opportunites for older units to gain new power (that and the possibility to go beyond 100 SE). As I was thinking about which units could be next for this treatment I started thinking about possibly the most deserving squad there is: Mikazuki villa.
Aside from maybe Yachiyo who is a beginner friendly mirrors unit they serve very little to no purpose beyond very early play. (For example Tsurunos magia spam evade cheese is outdone by Oriko). So I think those girlies should get the next set of powerful memoria.
Before I get into my ideas of new tools for them girlies I want to talk about Iroha first. Iroha was promoted to a faction leader in arc 2 and all of the faction leaders have aura buffs which provide them and their teammates passive buffs for up to 5 turns. (e.g. Himena providing aqua attack up or Rabi providing damage up and damage cut etc.). Iroha as we all know does not carry an aura buff (the only non 4* unit to actually carry said buffs is Mayabu with damage cut to all).
So I think her new personal memoria should actually be an aura buff for the entire team that works similiar to the SE nodes from other leaders. I was thinking about something like Ailment res up + MP/HP Regen to all as nod to her protective and inspiring personality (plus having a unit provide passive mp to her team will give Iroha some usage for people with limited or no mp batteries). Now as far as the other girls I´m not sure if they should get selfish effects or be given aura buffs too in an attempt to breath some life into them.
Tsuruno could play into the luck idea. She could give her team something like attack/damage up or damage increase while also giving them chances (like chance to crit or to evade, maybe some anti-evade) for some fun rng. Otherwise I could see her pull up with attack up at full HP and a generous chance to evade similiar to Vampire Nagisa and Chisato.
As for Felicia I could see her gaining a generous amount of damage against witches up since she used to get super focused on witches and going on rampages. Other than that I have no clue what to give her so hit me up with any ideas.
Idk what to with Sana. Should we repeat the Sasara treatment and give her access to a turn of taunt and endor adept (MP when hit)? Honestly I´m just gonna skip this one tho it would be funny if she got some super agressive memoria in homage to her doppel.
Yachiyo is super basic but whether selfish or team wide - give her blast MP. Actually her granting blast mp to her teammates would be funny since all of Mikazuki villa have at least two blast discs. But that would be lowkey busted since it would also stack with pre-existing blast mp.
So yeah that was my unstructed ramble rant about the potential of the new personal memoria for our beloved Mikazuki Squad.
Also please give Hazuki and Ryo permanent MP regen too thankz bye

My Experience With Lily Orchard + Fuck Her
Now, if those of you who know me or have been following me for a while will know that I used to be a massive Lily Orchard fan. I used to support her, I defended her, and I was once a member of her patron even.
I’ve heard stories from people, former friends, former fans, about how much of a manipulating and nasty bitch she is. At best, she’s lashed out at fans for drawing innocuous fanart and for bringing up topics in stream that she doesn’t approve of (I’ve been there, I’ve seen it), and at worst she’s a lying abusive cunt who can’t help but make people around her miserable.
And while I’ve not been the subject of Lily’s abuse, I have been witness and bore the blunt of her passive aggressive horseshit, her manipulating situations to make me appear like a cunt for daring to correct her on an opinion of a book she never fucking read, her shamelessly putting me on blast in one of her videos where she insinuated I was stupid for asking a question about LGBT+ rep, for telling me and other fans to stop talking when we tried to defend our positions in chat.
I’ve had to walk on eggshells around her because I feel like every word I say or anything I do will be seen as an attack on her despite me being a fan of hers for literally fucking years and she knows this. I’ve been a fan of hers since I was 15-16 and I’m 22 now. With no other content creator have I felt the need to be so fucking careful of what I say.
And when I sent her an ask telling her that her yelling at others on stream for seemingly no reason was actively triggering me (mind you, in the nicest way possible because I couldn’t hurt Ms. Orchard’s feewings oh nuuuu) she ignored my ask. Do I have proof she saw it? No. Is she a large enough content creator that she receives so much interaction/asks on her tumblr that my ask got swallowed? Also No.
If you’re a Lily Orchard fan, I am not a needless hater, I am not a stalker or a troll or a bigot. I’m a transgender and biromantic/asexual person myself who is Native and actively participates in activities regarding my tribe and culture. I’m white passing like Lily is. I used to be a fan of hers for fuck’s sake and an active one too.
But here’s the thing - she’ll suck you in with her bold commentary and criticisms and some of it is genuinely really thought provoking and interesting. On the outset she has a “no tolerance for abusers” policy and she’s charismatic to an audience of teenagers who were being abused. Fuck, she helped me realise I was being abused and when the Toonkritic shit came out, that slowly started to help me realise I was being groomed by my exe (TheHauntedReader)
I convinced myself for the longest time that just because Lily wrote “Stockholm” that it didn’t mean anything. That all of her weird takes and opinions were just a quirky “haha i did this in my youth and i regret it” moment. But this isn’t 13-year-old me writing weird fanfiction between an adult and a child when I didn’t fucking know any better and was being actively groomed and abused, this was an adult who wrote CP and romanticised it and tried to get away with it and who should have known better!
And once you are a fan of hers, it’s hard not to become emotionally invested, especially if you’ve always seen her behaviour as normal, which I did. A lot of her fans are abuse/trauma survivors and she knows that. So many of us have confided to her that she helped us realise we could be happier and that we could escape. That we were more than our abuse. These are powerful things to talk about.
But she doesn’t care about us. Never has. Never will. She convinced me and has convinced others that us asking her stupid/silly questions is damaging to her. That it’s caused her so much emotional damage and stress that she can justify lashing out and verbally abusing her audience, y’know - the people who gave her a career. By her own admission, she hates us, but expects our support when she’s being harassed??
Girl, fuck off.
But that is just my own experience. I’ve seen some shit in the past couple of days that I can’t unsee and I encourage you all to look into it because it’s such a dark hole that the phrase “stare into the abyss for too long and it stares back” is what I feel like right now.
And I know why I feel like this - I invested energy and money and emotions into this woman and her channel. I’ve supported her. And no, Lily, this is not about me wanting to be your friend. It’s about me asking for some fucking decency as someone you at least know of and at most you know supported you? To not lie and misrepresent what I’ve said and then vaguepost about me?
Have I made mistakes? Yes. But that’s no excuse to berate and yell at people who have only asked stupid questions or fuck, even made goddamn harmless jokes??
Also, if fans/friends of Lily’s are harassing @asunnycoffee you guys are the fucking worst. Don’t fucking attack my friend you raging cunts. I have a couple ideas of who you might be, but I know you won’t air out your dirty laundry with me, Ginger.
You guys are pathetic.
Lily doesn’t care about her fans, she doesn’t care about her friends, and she’s certainly not going to start anytime soon.

Skeleton steps on a Lego
It deals exactly 1 damage.
My Sans don't have 1 HP :')
Undertale Sans - He keeps it all inside, simply tensing up. It's a good day and he doesn't want to ruin it. This is just a stupid toy Frisk let on the ground not on purpose, this is fine. He takes a deep breath then throws the lego through the open window at full force.
Undertale Papyrus - If you didn't know Papyrus could swear, you're about to find out as he is insulting his ancestors, the creators of Lego and their ancestors. He's in a bad mood all morning.
Underswap Sans - He stomps the floor angrily, but it's only hurt his foot more. He's so mad! How dare you! He will mumble to himself all morning, angry.
Underswap Papyrus - He's dead. He flops dramatically on the floor, lays on his back and stays here. That's clearly a sign he shouldn't be up this morning. Two hours later, he's still sleeping there.
Underfell Sans - That drama queen starts to limp like the Lego hurt him seriously. You say he's overeacting, he screams that he is not before limping away... On his non-injured foot... You sigh.
Underfell Papyrus - He stays dead silent, takes a deep breath, then lets out a high pitched scream that can be heard several miles around. He's going to sue the company so bad!
Horrortale Sans - :( He sits on the floor sadly. You ask if he's ok, he just... points his foot at you. Kiss the booboo :( You sigh and kiss his cheek instead. Aw. He smiles again. Wait why was he sitting on the floor again? Oh well. He steps back on the Lego.
Horrortale Papyrus - He slips and hurts his back badly. Now stuck on the floor, he's insulting the entire world while trying to grab his phone to call his damn brother who's never there when something like that happens. He's so mad!
Swapfell Sans - "ruuuuUUUUUUSSSSSS!!!!" Rus locks his room. Nox blasts his door open. "THAT'S 20 TIMES TODAY I'M ASKING YOU TO PICK UP YOUR DUMB TOYS I SWEAR TO TORIEL IF YOU'RE NOT OBEYING I'M BLASTING YOUR FACE." Rus hides behind his bed.
Swapfell Papyrus - He looks at the Lego, shrugs and keeps going. It's happening to him all the time, he doesn't even feel them anymore. That's quite concerning actually.
Fellswap Gold Sans - He apologies to Coffee, goes outside, then screams and blasts the garden. He then takes a deep breath, goes back home, perfectly calm, and ask Coffee to pick up his lego in a passive-agressive tone.
Fellswap Gold Papyrus - He cries in pain, then falls on his but on other legos, hurting himself even more. He then proceeds to make a temper tantrum on the floor, angry he's hurt. Wine simply says that it wouldn't happened if he was cleaning his room. Coffee refuses to talk to him all afternoon, pouting.

Let's just assume that v5.2 is giving us a highly desirable 5★ Pyro character who is at least Raiden levels of versatile, and maybe Furina or Nahida levels of "changes what teams are viable". (I'll be using female pronouns but let's also assume it's not a Himeko expy. Expectation management etc.) Let's also assume no new reactions / buffs, etc. Worst of all, let's assume the "Pyro is passion damage" truism holds.
4 potential Pyro kits that I hope we don't get (and 2 I'm okay with)
1: On-field Pyro DPS
(Why I don't like it: power creep.)
You know the drill. Big numbers, Pyro infusion, low enough ICD (or fast enough attacks) for reasonable XQ+YL reverse vape setups.
Less shield-dependent than HT+Arle, less poise-dependent than Yoimiya and Lyney, faster than Yanfei and Diluc, and, idk, stupidly high multipliers. ATK buff that scales on ATK because why not.
Example:
Press E to enter the Fiery Fire state, gaining a Pyro infusion increasing ATK by 50% of her current ATK.
Talent: after dealing a certain amount of DMG, deal a blast of AoE DMG.
Talent: when in the party in the overworld, if playing on mobile, all enemies move at 50% speed
2: Off-field Pyro DPS
(Why I don't like it: power creep.)
Example:
Press E to summon a Pyronado (20s duration 10s cooldown).
Press Q for a few hits of burst damage (Miko but 2× speed and homing), which simultaneously count as NA CA Skill and Burst DMG.
Talent: Elegy of the End
Talent: Alley Hunter
No ICD on anything.
When crafting Character Talent Materials, 50% chance to receive double the
3: fast weak off-field Pyro application
(Why I don't like it:) Burgeon is a niche, Thoma. I love and respect you but it's a very specific niche.
Example:
Press E to summon the Salon Des Dragons[...], which deals frequent Pyro damage and also coordinated attacks.
Talent: Burning can stack up to 3× damage and remains even after the Pyro or Dendro aura leaves. The Salon's attacks do not deplete Hydro aura. Overloaded pulls enemies in.
When crafting Character Ascension Gemstones, 50% chance to refund a portion of the materials used.
4: ATK buffer
(I.e. power creep)
You know, Pyro!Bennett. Less circle impact and more Navia's deal (or a Nahida sized circle). Swap the healing for damage prevention, perhaps, or follow Furina's footsteps and throw in some all-Element DMG% or Crit DMG% buff.
Green eyes optional.
5: Debuff (Pyro!Mona, Pyro!Lisa)
If Pyro is the "more damage" element and we don't want a Bennett 2.0, how about shredding RES better that Zhongli, or a less front-loaded Mona, or... all of the above?
Apply a debuff however we see fit. Nahida (E), Arlecchino (E), Mona (Q), Hu Tao (Q or E+CA), all have reasonable debuff triggers, as is a passive off-field effect. For wave clearing specifically(*), Yoimiya's target-jumping burst aura would also be pretty reasonable.
(*) after 4.1 (Peaks and Troughs) and 4.4 (Triumphant Frenzy) I think an endurance wave-clearing mode might be a viable endgame mode direction, RIP Nahida.
As for the debuffs, RES shred and/or DEF shred seem fine (the former being a nice boon for transformative reactions). Status curse that lowers enemy level if you want to be fancy :P
6: Off-field chip damage support
Consider our favourite leyline disorders, Smoldering Flames and Tracking Fire Ball, I guess this would... work? Arle+HT already do a little bit in the "DoT" niche but that's not their main deal.
E: Grant party a Curtain of Smolder. While under this effect, gain a Morning Star every 0.8s. If there are 4+ Morning Stars, consume them and launch a fireball at a nearby enemy (prioritising high HP) for stupid amounts of AoE damage. Whenever a party member under the Curtain of Smolder uses a Burst, gain a Morning Star. Whenever a party member deals DMG (max once per character per 1s), gain a Morning Star.
Q: oh yeah also all the enemies are taking ATK scaling Pyro DoT. Yeah it ignores defence. Yeah not removable.
Talent: While in the Curtain of Smolder state, the active character's attacks deal additional poise damage if they're not a Claymore user, additional fixed DMG if they're not a Bow/Catalyst User, and have increased ATK SPD if they're not a Sword/Polearm user.
When forging Mystic Enhancement Ore, 50% chance to receive 1 Primogem

The Chivalrous Thief Who Believes in Bonds
Obtainability: Limited to completing missions for the Puella Historia Campaign.
MLB Effect: Flame Attribute Attack Up [10%] & Blast Damage Up [20%]
Effect Definitions:
Flame Attribute Attack Up will increase a unit’s base attack stats when they use a Flame-attribute attack. It functions similarly to Attack Up and even stacks with it, but it won’t contribute to Attack Up’s Percentage Ceiling.
Blast Damage Up is a straightforward buff that means Blast Discs will deal more damage. Blast Damage Up has a capped percentage at 100%.
TLDR: “The Chivalrous Thief Who Believes in Bonds” is a decent free-to-play friendly memoria with a scary amount of ATK stats. However its two effects are low for their percentages, so it’s not overpowered. You can equip this on Flame Blast-type supports.
Review: Before saying anything else, “The Chivalrous Thief Who Believes in Bonds” has a truly terrifying amount of passive ATK. In fact...
Tumblr media
As of writing this review, it has the most passive ATK in the entire game! That’s including a bunch of limited gacha memoria! Impressive.
Less impressive are the effects’ percentages for “The Chivalrous Thief Who Believes in Bonds”. Flame Attribute Attack Up and Blast Damage Up are both good effects, but at 10% and 20% respectively, this memoria might feel a bit lacking.
However, this isn’t absolutely terrible either. For a Free-to-Play player, this memoria is going to be extremely helpful on Flame blasters-- so its best to use this on units like Chizuru, Kyoko Sakura, Swimsuit Kyoko, Doppel Kyoko, Juri Ooba, and Ranka Chizu.
It’s questionable how useful this memoria will be for Whales. Attack Up has a 100% cap ceiling, so many players will use Attribute Attack Up to stack a similar effect without contributing to said ceiling. However, “The Chivalrous Thief Who Believes in Bonds” means sacrificing a LOT of potential buffs for only a small 10% in Flame Attribute Attack Up. It’s also entirely possible that if the player is capped on Attack Up, they also might be capped on Blast Damage Up, meaning that all this memoria can offer is a pitiful 10% Flame Attribute Attack Up and some truly menacing ATK stats.
Other things to consider for players would be if other (semi) free-to-play friendly memoria are better or worse to use than this one, such as:
(Limited Welfare 4*) “An Entrance Backed by a Column of Clouds” Blast Damage Up [35%] & Anti-Burn [100%]
(Limited Mirrors 4*) “I'll Continue to Shoulder the Burden” Blast Damage Up [30%] & Damage Increase [25%]
(Limited Welfare 4*) “Never Forget” Blast Damage Up [30%] Blast Damage Cut [10%]
(Limited Welfare 4*) “Being Myself, With Pride” Blast Damage Up [25%] & Attack Up While At Max Health [25%] & Defense Down (Self) [15%]
Obviously on non-flame units the answer is that all of the above are better to use. On Flame units the answer is more tricky. Personally, memoria like “I'll Continue to Shoulder the Burden” and “Being Myself, With Pride” are superior to use thanks to their secondary effects. However, memoria like “An Entrance Backed by a Column of Clouds” or “Never Forget” are trickier-- my gut feeling is that “The Chivalrous Thief Who Believes in Bonds” is better to use, but I don’t feel like doing the legwork to check that out.
Overall, this is a good free-to-play friendly memoria. You can use it on support as long as that support is a Flame type with three blast discs.

Trick or treat!
You get a… trick?
This is a snippet from a fic concept I’m exploring but still hesitant to actually write! It started out as a silly ‘Barry and Jay are in a passive-aggressive argument and Alan and Hal do not understand how is it the speedsters are fighting instead of them’. And then it got... sad.
Background AlanJay and Halbarry.
Jay is aware he and Barry are arguing over two barely distinguishable shades of beige paint for the guest room, but their fight isn’t really about the paint color anyways. Alan and Hal made themselves scarce a few hours ago, the moment Jay commented he didn’t want his guest room to be the same shade as Barry’s sweater vests, and Barry immediately retorted it was a good thing Jay wouldn’t actually be the one sleeping in the room then.
This was after a long debate over paint swatches, where both Alan and Hal’s inputs that the room should have a nice non-beige color, had gone entirely unheard. The lanterns had realized they were standing in the blast zone and been unwilling to risk becoming collateral damage. Jay is glad to see that after all these long years with them, the GLs are finally starting to be smart about the whole fearless thing.
It’s a good thing they left when they did too, because paint started flying quickly after. The walls of the guest room are absolutely atrocious right now, randomly sploshed with paint and primer, a whole gallon wasted and spilled all over the floor, but Barry and Jay have retreated to the kitchen to wash up and calm down. Jay is leaning against the counter, waiting for the water to boil for his tea. He’s got paint in his hair, but hasn’t bothered to try and get it off, only rolled up his sleeves and washed his hands. Barry is very quiet as he scrubs his arms and forehead free of the paint, his annoyance is palpable in the air, and Jay doesn’t know why he’s so irritated when he insisted on helping out with repainting the room.
Barry won’t leave him alone these days, it’s annoying.
“Did you go get that extra gallon from the garage, yet?” Jay asks him, gruffly.
Something flashes in Barry’s eyes: sad, scared, quickly buried, and Jay realises it’s not the first time he’s asked.
“Yes,” says Barry.
For the first time all day, his tone is light and neutral, instead of passive aggressive, and the patience behind it annoys Jay even more, a flush of rage crawling up his throat. The phone is deadly quiet on the countertop between them, and Jay vacillates between grateful and irritated that Barry is handling him with kid gloves.
They both know what diagnostic is coming: it’s why Jay hasn’t actually kicked Barry out of his house yet, even if he’s still mad at him for confronting him about this and convincing him to go get tested. Jay didn’t want to be alone when he got the call. Jay didn’t want to get the call at all, doesn’t want to have to break the news to Alan and have Barry, Wally, Bart and the others worry. He wants to stay in denial, wants more time. At 90, Jay hasn’t been bitter about slowing down until this very moment: when it gives his own damned mind the chance to fall apart at the seams.
Barry is saying something about the quality of the wall primer when he’s interrupted by the shrill ringtone of the phone. They both fall quiet and stare at it, their fight entirely forgotten. Barry practically falls in the seat in front of Jay, but doesn’t press: they’re both stretching the seconds of this moment, remain on the cusp of change before it becomes irreversible.
Jay’s first instinct is to run the phone to the Atlantic Ocean and chuck it, but he focuses on Barry and catches his own reflection in the oven door behind him. They both look ridiculous, the first two Flashes, covered in paint, and childishly arguing. He laughs, slightly hysterical, but also absolutely delighted. He looks at Barry and thinks: this man is my legacy, I would not choose any other and it gives him the courage he needs. He stays standing up, picks up the phone and places it down on speaker between them.
“Mr. Garrick, this is Dr. Brady. I have your test results in front of me and I’m sorry but I have some bad news.”
---
The idea would be to explore speedster physiology as they age/effects of the speed force long term/what that healing factor can handle, but also how chosen family can rally around you when you’re dealing with something like Alzheimer.
Apart from some stray notes and drafts, this snippet is all I have to show for it for now.
Thank you for the ask, I hope you enjoyed! Happy Halloween!

Do the casts’ abilities generally apply in the comic? Are inigo and Malachi significantly Better at assaulting men than assaulting women? Is everyone terrified of the child that memorized “the book of 1002 baby names?” Is yohann cursed to be eternally soggy?
// LMAO GODDD the serious answer is that I think gender specific moves/abilities simply don't have to apply to specific genders, and abilities could be switched on and off sort of like a passive move (which is why rune's snow warning isn't always blasting her teammates in the face). for something like rivalry I think malachi would feel a boost when facing off against anyone he'd consider a "rival" (like eilwyn), do normal damage to most other pokemon, and be discouraged when facing off against pokemon he respects. for damp I like to imagine yohann throwing a wet towel over an explosive trap LMAO and intimidate? i for one would be intimidated if a high schooler walked up to me and started infodumping, my ability to physically assault him would be drastically reduced

i'm thinking abt the differences between arcane warrior and knight-enchanter (definitely not bc im gonna redo my amell pt or anything hahahahahahahaha nope no way im doing HAWKE next remember) to try and understand the shift, if there is one...
so in origins, you've got the spec that can be learned directly from what seems to be an elven spirit trapped inside a phylactery. this allows you to use magic in place of strength for damage and also for equipping weapons and armour. there's other abilities that block most damage, provide bonuses to armour, resistance, atk, defense and damage as well as mana regen. you have one weapon specific for arcane warrior, which is spellweaver.
this same spec actually also comes up in dai in multiplayer. it's split into two trees, mentalism and elemental. in dao you could have the aw spec and then have additional spells so im assuming the elemental tree (which has a lot of overlap w the rift mage spec) is maybe something specific to cilian rather than a general arcane warrior thing. the mentalism tree includes combat clarity, spirit blade (w defending blade ug) and fade shield. interestingly, it also includes passives that increase armour, bring up protective barriers, filling the area with sympathetic magic, stun when hit, increases in magic, willpower and constitution, immunity to flanking, reduced % of stagger, phasing when hit, threat reduction, damage bonus for missing mana, damage bonus against panicked. there are also actives that cause panic, dispel magic (w upgrades that allow that dispel to fuel your own damage and barrier), mindblast (w similar upgrades).
then you've got KE in dai, which also has spirit blade, fade cloak and disruption field. and the focus ability, resurgence, which is traditionally a spirit healer ability so idk why it's now a KE ability but that's certainly. a thought. especially since the spirit blade uses an actual spirit or wisp i think? the passives in this spec mainly deal with supplementing barriers, returning damage and faster mana regen.
so in an effort to like... expand/solidify what any of this means:
arcane warrior:
spirit weapons - like a spirit blade. (i assume spellweaver would've been something like that if they'd been able to pull it off with those graphics in dao). but i think arcane warriors - esp in dao - would have asked spirits or wisps to become part of the weapon.
barriers that are. not like normal barriers we see mages cast. these barriers absorb and reflect damage, boost mana regen, defense and damage, presumably because of whatever the differences are between something like shimmering shield in dao and a barrier spell.
knight enchanter:
also uses spirit weapons & barriers but spirits or wisps are bound to these weapons. there's no asking about it; i just think that fits the circle & the chantry's viewpoints about mages, but also spirits, and the relationship between the two.
specifically in terms of barriers, i think KE's are casting regular barriers and then learning how to add all these additional things to the barriers they're casting to mimic shimmering shield and aura of might in dao, simply because that knowledge is lost.
similarly, the way fade shroud (in dao) is cast is different to how KE's are casting fade cloak. that's why one is passive and the other is an active that only lasts for a short amount of time.
KE's also don't have the sustained combat magic that dao has. to me, this implies that KE's strength comes from the mage directly as opposed to being able to convert their magical power to strength. (BUFF MAGES BUFF MAGES BUFF MAGES BUFF MAGES--)
more spirit-school aligned than arcane warrior is on its own (i get the vibes from dao and cilian's ability trees that arcane warriors work well with elemental schools but ive also done entropy arcane warriors that have also been fun in dao? so hmm), hence you get resurgence, mind blast, disruption field (which reminds me of some of the mage abilities in awakening?) & mostly dealing spirit damage

DND Class Ideas: Runeblade
A class all about using their strength and intelligence in tandem, to the point where rolls take away the difference between the two stats, Runeblades focus on multiple attacks of the mundane and magical each round. They use runes to get more attacks and damage in each round, but each subclass does so in a different way. Also, instead of adding their proficiency bonus to attack rolls, they add their strength AND intelligence modifiers, but take away the difference in the strength and intelligence stats (if you had 20 str and 10 int, your attack rolls would get +5 because of str, +0 because of int, and -10 because of the difference in stats. if you had 16 str and 16 int, you'd get +3 from str, +3 from int, then -0 because the stats are the same.). All subclasses will gain passive runes over an hour period, with the max passive runes being your proficiency bonus multiplied by your level.
Subclasses:
Runeblades have two categories of subclass: the Rune (which element one specialises in) and the Blade (which weapon one specialises in). I'll start by going over the Blades, and then the Runes.
Blades:
Sword: These runeblades focus on the duality and synchronicity between their strength and intelligence. When they make an attack, they gain runes equal to their proficiency bonus, and can expend runes to cast spells (in the same way other martial classes can attack twice with one action), with the spell costing 2^x runes, where x is the spell's level (cantrips cost 1, level 1s cost 2, etc.). At higher levels they also get an action surge (although it costs runes).
Dagger: These runeblades focus on the more magical side - they get runes by casting spells (half your proficiency bonus rounded up multiplied by the spell level, or just 1 rune for cantrips) and can expend them by gaining bonus actions (1 for the first bonus action, 2 for the second, 4 for the third, etc.) which can be used to attack, or whatever else. They are also full spellcasters (the other classes are half spellcasters).
Axe: These runeblades focus more on the physical side - They can't actively gain runes, relying solely on their passive pool. They can expend runes to coat their weapon with their specialised elemental energy, adding their proficiency bonus to attack rolls, and adding their strint modifier (str + int mods - difference in stats) to their damage. This lasts a number of turns equal to their proficiency bonus, and costs half their proficiency bonus. They can go into this state by casting a spell of their specialised element, but then it may cost their full action. At higher levels they gain the ability to spend runes to do extra attacks.
Runes:
Fire: These runeblades focus on higher damage with a higher cost. They get the level 1 spell Fire Blast, which does xd4 fire damage where x is your proficiency bonus in a 5ft cone. At level 5 it becomes a 10ft cone, at level 10 a 15ft cone, and at level 15 a 20ft cone. Upcasting it adds a d8 per level.
Ice: These runeblades focus on weaker magic that is easier to cast. They get the cantrip Ray of frost, but it costs half as many runes (round down), is worth double, and from level 5 can be upcast, doing 1d4 per level.
Lightning: These runeblades focus on additional weapon damage. Casting a lightning spell gives you a lightning charge (I just learnt they aren't in 5e, but these are slightly different to in bg3 anyway so shut up), making your attacks deal +x lightning damage where x is the number of lightning charges. Your lightning charges halve (round down) when you make an attack, or at the end of the turn (if you didn't make an attack). You gain the level 1 spell charge, which adds lightning charges to your weapon equal to your proficiency bonus and only uses a bonus action. The lightning bolt that hits your weapon also can do 1d6 damage for every lightning charge on your weapon (including the charges added by the spell). When upcast it adds two charges per level.
Anyway let me know whether this is overpowered or not. I tried to make each Rune have an obvious synergy with one Blade, while still being useful and interesting with the other two (i.e. sword works best with fire because it gains enough runes to cast it without using spell slots each turn, but ice lets it gain runes for free each turn and lightning will qucikly ramp up its damage while letting you cast two spells (because shut up I'll allow it); dagger works best with ice as dagger can't gain spell slots, but fire lets them crowd control and lightning lets them use all their stored charges in one turn doing disgusting damage; axe works best with lightning, as they can coat their weapon using a bonus action without spending runes, and they focus more on single attacks getting more use out of the lightning charges, but fire and ice have more utility with crowd control and range). If you have any ideas for more Runes and Blades, also let me know!

Illithid Euphoria When The Emperor Charms or Frightens a creature, it gains a 2 (1d4) bonus to attack rolls and saving throws for 1 minute.
Actions
Multiattack
The emperor makes two attacks with his staff.
Staff of The Emperor
Melee Weapon Attack:+13, Reach 5 ft., one target
Hit: 12 (1d8+8) bludgeoning damage plus 22 (4d10) psychic damage
Tentacles
Melee Weapon Attack:+11, Reach 5 ft., one target
Hit: 17 (2d10+6) psychic damage. If the target is Medium or smaller, it is grappled (escape DC 19) and must succeed on a DC 19 Intelligence saving throw or be stunned until this grapple ends.

Each creature in that area must succeed on a DC 19 Intelligence saving throw or take 24 (4d8+6) psychic damage and be stunned for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Spellcasting
The emperor is an 13th-level spellcaster. Its spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 20, +12 to hit with spell attacks). The emperor can cast and black tentacles and chain lightning once (recharges on a short or long rest) and has the following wizard spells prepared:
Cantrips (at will): dancing lights, mage hand, minor illusion, prestidigitation, shocking grasp
1st level (4 slots): detect magic, disguise self, shield, sleep
2nd level (3 slots): enhance ability, invisibility, mirror image, ray of enfeeblement
3rd level (3 slots): clairvoyance, counterspell, dispel magic, lightning bolt, sending
4th level (3 slots): confusion, hallucinatory terrain
5th level (2 slots): dominate person, telekinesis*, wall of force
6th level (1 slot): mass suggestion
7th level (1 slot): reverse gravity
*Telekinesis can be cast at will, without consuming a spell slot.
Author's Notes The Emperor is a statblock I decided to take creative liberties with, because while I totally understand the need for him to have a simple statblock in BG3, if he's making an appearance at the table I'd like him to live up to his appearance in game by copying over many of the abilities from the Mind Flayer Arcanist, and expanding the spell list to reach 13th level in wizard. Speaking of Mind Flayer statblocks I find it absolutely hilarious that The Emperor has 10 Charisma, while the rest of his peers sport a 17. Just goes to show you don't need Charisma to blow minds ;3
