💨 Air Signs: Chakra Reading 💨
Tumblr media
gemini, libra, and aquarius (sun, moon, rising, and venus). Please take what resonates ✨
The cards that came up for you this week are Confusion and Release.
They’re in your highest chakra- the crown. It appears that you are experiencing an issue that has come up for you recently. It doesn’t have to be a large issue; it can be something small that has puzzled you, something you don’t have an answer for. Either way, an issue has arisen and it’s placed in an area that needs healing. It appears that this is within your childhood/adolescent self, or within the area of relationships (especially family). You’re feeling like someone holds the blame, whether that be yourself or the other people involved, but what’s needed most, right now, is forgiveness. This can be difficult because our feelings may be overwhelming. Even if they’re just slightly uncomfortable, they’re still not nice to sit in. Yet, this is the chakra of detachment. Usually, this is seen as a bad thing but here, it’s what’s needed. We need to make space in our mind that is untouched by our reactionary thoughts or feelings, so that we can start to feel enough peace and calm to make decisions. Often, we are spurred by how we feel, by our automatic thoughts, but by practicing mindfulness and meditation, we can begin to detach enough to start making decisions beyond our reactions. Know that feelings of anger, frustration, or hurt are valid, yet, as valid as they are, it’s important to ask yourself if you want to live a life driven by those feelings. You deserve more! Even if nobody is giving you more, give it to yourself.
It’s hard to be in a position of unclarity right now, of not knowing what the right answer is, but you’re on a divine journey. You’ve been brought to this point for a reason. Often, the best lessons we learn are the hardest. It doesn’t feel nice in the moment but they’re necessary. Allow yourself to learn from them so that you can start to move on to a happier, more peaceful time, into a time where your life is more aligned with your values and beliefs, and you’re surrounded by others who also align with what you want/need. When you allow yourself some stillness, some quiet, but also some joy, you make space for these feelings to settle, to come to rest. And then you can start exploring what’s right for you, where you want to go from here. You don’t need to know everything right now; that’s not the point, but sitting with any negative feelings, pouring understanding and compassion on them, perhaps coming to a sense of forgiveness, will help you to begin to move on. Stillness is progression. You’re dealing with the situation; don’t think everything has to be met with action. Sometimes, coming home to yourself is enough. You have the power to move forward, to progress, to forgive but not always forget, and to live a more fulfilled and aligned life. Just know that power is there to tap into whenever you’re ready. Embrace yourself as you meet your shadow self, as well as the events in the past that wounded you, but know by bringing it to the surface, you release yourself. You release yourself from reactivity, from all of those repressed thoughts and feelings. By making that space, you allow your inner wisdom to come forth. Then, you will find what you’re looking for.
Before I leave, here are two quotes you may want to contemplate:
No matter how the wind howls, the mountain will not bow to it. Chinese Proverb.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present. Bil Keane.
Journal Prompts
Are there any spiritual or mindfulness practices I can come back to that will help me relax and start to detach from my worry or hurt? If I don’t have many practices, are there ways I can find any? Are there any that are calling to me right now? Have I allowed any of my thoughts or feelings to arise surrounding a past event, person, or wound? Is there a way I can carve space for myself in order for this to happen? Is there a way you can forgive yourself for the mistakes you made, knowing you did the best you could at the time? Is there a way you can forgive the situation or the people involved? (Know that forgiving others doesn’t have to mean letting them back into your life or forgetting it happened, but allowing yourself to accept that’s how they were, feel compassion for their own suffering, and move on. But, if you can bring yourself to forgive them in other ways, know that human beings are flawed- are you being too harsh on this person? Does the good outweigh the bad? Explore this situation and what feels right for you). Are you ready to move on? Do you even want to? What is in your past that you’re ready to release? How do I feel about unclarity? Am I able to find ways to be present so that I’m not fixated so much on the past or the present? Is the outcome the most important thing or is it the journey we experience on the way? Am I allowing myself to experience my own journey or am I focused too much on what lies ahead? Why do I feel the need to push? How can I work on any feelings of frustration or impatience so that I can learn to be with this sense of slowness?
