Okay so im crazy and love rambling so lets start this board as a sole place for the public to be exposed to all i have to say (and for posting my shitty poetry when i get possessed by a vintage man with a Laudanum dependency).

Lets start with what i will call Tangent #1:

The New Moon episode and my thoughts.

Stolas, though i do love that owl man, was way more at fault for the way the episode ended than blitz. Blitz was given no forewarning of the content of that meeting, he had not met with stolas in months, and with no warning of the topics of discussion of changing the relationship dynamic rather than fully scrapping it, what was he supposed to assume when 1. Stolas rejects his advances coldly, and 2. ASK FOR THE DAMN BOOK BACK. From the place of an imp, blitzø was always bound to be in an unfair dynamic of this relationship without the transactionary basis of it. While stolas’ approach was HORRIBLE he did intend well and i am not saying that makes Blitzø’s reaction right, but it makes it justified. Is it maybe my obsession with a self depricating twink that makes me choose his side? Whose to say. But i will say that stolas being off his antidepressants and his bag full of shitty communication skills via daddy issues doesnt help the fucking situation. Blitzø should’ve absolutely been entitled to time to properly process the request and how it would change the dynqmic. The whole way stolas framed the scenario screamed break up? And blitzo trying to play that off as a sexual request falls perfectly in line to the way blitz views their relationship as it stands, that he is the butt of the joke so to speak. As an imp, he was never going to be able to accept a spousal relationship with a prince of hell at a pin drop, and he knows stolas keeps imp servants, so it isnt even “stolas doesnt view imps as lesser than” cus UGH HE HASNT SHOWN US ANYTGING TO SAY OTHERWISE. While the social dynamics of the blitz and stolas situation REFLECT that or Fizz and Ozzie, we didnt see how their relationship formed, and we see that ozzie is about passion and love and , yes lust, but lust in a way that is that deep love and connection past just physical pleasures.
