She closes her eyes as she presses her forehead to yours “breathe honey..” she coos, trying to soothe you. “I-i ca-can’t breathe,” you stumble out, your breathing quickening. Her thumb gently caresses your cheek as you cry. “Shh… it’s okay” she shushes you as she presses a kiss to your forehead “breathe..” she whispers. “It’s alright.. I’m right here darling…” you try to match your breaths to hers as she holds you close, comforting you. “I’m right here…”

- “whats the matter with you?” you hear Annie call from the doorway. Your trembling figure turns around to face her, tears in your eyes as your breaths become gasps for air. Annie’s eyes widen in surprise, “hey.. hey!” She calls as you collapse down onto your knees. Annie races down to you, pulling you to face her. “Hey what’s going on? Y/n!” her worried voice says. She pulls your figure closer to her, your eyes gazing in hers. “Shit, hey..uh it’s okay..i uhm..” Annie tries to help through her shock. “Baby breathe.” She says, grabbing your shaking hands. “can you do that? can you take a breath for me?” She questions as she looks diligently at you for your response. - “Pieck i- I need you..” you say, feeling your panic attack build up. She gazes up at you, her face falling from her usual cheerful expression to concern. . “What’s wrong dear?” she asks, standing up to come towards you. “I.. I…” you stutter out but to no avail. “love?” Pieck questions as she sees your body shake. Your heart is practically beating out your chest as the overwhelming darkness comes over you, causing your body to panic. “Hey, can I touch you?” she whispers softly as you nod, granting her access. Pieck softly pulls you into her embrace, pecking little kisses on your face to calm you down. “I know it’s scary y/n, but I’m right here.” She says. “I’m not gonna leave you dovey,”

Annie didn’t know how she ended up in this situation. Well, she did, because it was her job to protect the princess, to stay near her at all hours. She knew what to expect with this job. The thousands of hours of training they put her through prepared her for the tasks that were expected of her as the princess’s knight. She was prepared to take action if the princess was targeted or if there was an invasion of the castle.

What she wasn’t prepared for was falling in love. When you spend as many hours with the princess as Annie does, it’s almost impossible not to fall in love with her. You’ve grown close over the years. It’s hard not to. She learned about your passion for your kingdom and your knowledge of the arts. Annie hangs onto every word you say, and she doesn’t make it subtle. The other knights have teased her about her infatuation with the princess. She wonders how they don’t get it, how they don’t get why she looks at you like you hung the moon.

“Annie?” She heard your voice from behind your bedroom door and it startled her out of her thoughts. She straightened her posture before answering like you could see her through the door.

“Yes, princess?” she questions. It’s silent for a second, like the princess is deciding what she wants to say.

“Can you come in here and help me tie my nightgown?” she asks. “The maids have already gone to sleep and I don’t want to bother them for something so small.”

Annie can feel a lump forming in her throat just thinking about what. she might be walking into. You, the woman she loves, half-dressed and needing her help. Annie might just explode. She cleared her throat to get rid of the knot blocking her words before she spoke.

“Of course, princess.”

She pauses for a second to compose herself before opening the door. The sight that greets her almost makes her stumble. Your nightgown is hanging off your shoulder, allowing her to see your smooth skin.

“Hello,” you say with a small smile on your face.

It takes Annie a second to compose herself again before she speaks again.

“Hello, Princess.” She greets back.

“Thank you for agreeing to help me, Annie. I appreciate it.” You say as you turn around. Your back now facing Annie so she can tie your nightgown. Annie walks up to stand behind you. She is so close you can feel her breathing on the back of your neck.

“No need to thank me.” she says as she reaches to grab the strap hanging off your shoulder. Her fingers brush over your skin, sending goosebumps down your back.

You let out a shaky breath before responding, “I must. You helped me. I should thank you.”

“There is really no need, princess” Annie says as she finishes tying up your gown. You turn around slowly to look at her. She hasn’t backed up yet, so your feet are practically touching. You stare at her for a moment longer, then whisper,

“Maybe you can sleep in my chambers tonight. It can’t possibly be comfortable sleeping in a room with three other people.”

“Okay,” she whispers back. Annie thinks she might be dreaming when you smile so brightly it almost blinds her.

“Oh wonderful,” you say, grabbing her hand and pulling her towards your bed. “You can sleep right next to me.”

You climb onto the right side of the bed and get comfortable before patting the left side and smiling up at Annie. She slowly crawls onto the left side of the bed. You’re now facing each other, just staring into the eyes of the other.

“Annie?” you whisper in the darkness.

“Yes, princess?” she whispers back.

“I didn’t really need help with my nightgown, I just said that so I could see you.” You whisper shyly.

It catches Annie off guard, that you thought you had to come up with a plan just so you could see her. You interrupt her thoughts when you speak again.

“You know, Annie,” you pause for a second, just staring at her, “I like you. More than a princess should like a knight.”

Annie never expected this, for her love to be requited. She thought she was destined to live her life as merely, your knight, to watch you get married to some prince from another kingdom. All the while, she watched from the sidelines.

Annie lets out a breath and says, “I like you too. More than a knight should like a princess.”

You inch closer to her face and let out a small "Really?"

“Yes,” she whispers back. Your lips are inches apart now.

Annie finally moves to connect your lips to hers and it’s more magical than she ever imagined.

a/n: i love reading fluff like this so this is maybe self-indulgent.. also ill maybe make a part 2 with other characters!!

i think that he would get tired really easy so good luck, he probably wants to go to bed at like 9:30 😭

if you agree to go to bed with him, he's okay if you don't actually go to sleep but he will eventually just beg you to cuddle with him :(

if you don't go to bed with him, he'll probably try to stay up with you but will definitely fall asleep and let you wake him up for a second to brush both of your teeth and finally get into bed

i think he gets cold quickly so once he's in bed, he's in bed. he won't get up for anything because he doesn't want to ruin the nice little picket of warmth he created (good luck if he falls asleep on your side of the bed)

because he gets so cold easily he would rather cuddle with you to fall asleep, and he doesn't move off you when he falls asleep either

i think he would rather sleep facing you, so he knows you're there, but he also likes when you spoon him, because he just likes having your comforting weight on him (you will wake up with him clinging onto you no matter what) <3

i think she's the type to lose track of time watching videos or tv.. so she probably goes to bed at around 1-3am

BUT don't lose hope!! she will go to bed whenever you do because she gets too bored on her own

if she isn't tired when you guys go to bed, she probably reads or watches yt on her phone (she likes when you sleep on her while she does that)

once she is finally ready for bed, she slips out from under the covers and goes to brush her teeth, coming back and carefully getting back in bed as to not disturb you

she always sleeps on her back, so she would prefer to have you snuggled up to her side or her chest, so she would wrap an arm around you and pet your head

if you beg enough she will spoon you (tries to hide the fact that she likes it), she'll still keep you close to her chest, with both of her arms around you <3

mikasa is more like a cat in the sense that she'll sleep wherever, and whenever.

so her sleep schedule changes around her naps throughout the day

but she tries to not take naps too close to when you would want to fall asleep <3 but if she does, she'll just cuddle you in bed while she watches something or reads

on the surprising occasion that you both actually want to go to bed at the same time, she would rather be curled up in your arms than the other way around, she likes the way that it makes her feel protected

loves when you play with her hair while she falls asleep, she will fall asleep very fast if you do, and she'll grab your hand and place it back on her head if you stop

(thankfully) she doesn't snore at all, she's a very light sleeper as well, i also think she likes to listen to white noise or rain noises on while she sleeps <3

okay honestly she probably goes to sleep at like 3am every night </3

she just loves to stay up with you and watch shows while eating yummy snacks

sometimes you wake up in bed and she isn't there, so you go to the kitchen and ofc! there she is, eating pretzels dipped in peanut butter while she giggles at stupid videos on her phone

of course you have to drag her back to bed (not before you eat a little of her snack), and promise her you'll make her pancakes in the morning

once you both are finally in bed, sasha will literally just flop on top of you, spreading out her limbs like a starfish

also a semi-quiet sleeper, she snores a little bit sometimes but we all make sacrifices <3

i think he would want to go to bed with you no matter what time you actually go to bed

but if you go to bed too late he would want you to start going to bed at a reasonable hour because he doesn't want it to start affecting you :(

if you're just too tired to even get up from the couch he'll carry you to the bathroom n' brush your teeth for you <3 and ofc he'll tuck you into bed as well

CUDDLER. i can't imagine him being anything else. he's just to big n' warm n' comfy omgg

annie leonhardt drinks like a 6’6 man when the opportunity arises. she can hold her liquor better than anyone else. she just shrugs her shoulders when you ask her about it.

you can tell when she’s drunk because her cheeks have gone all pink and she looks adorable.

despite her tolerance, there have been nights that you two have spent together in the bathroom. one minute she’s fine, next she’s disappeared to go throw up.

she laughs a little louder.

annie becomes a lot more comfortable with pda after a few drinks. she’ll have a loving hand on your thigh or your pinkies will be intertwined.

she really isn’t into partying or clubbing but she’ll go if shes invited. she prefers to have a few drinks at home with her loved one (that’s u btw.)

surprisingly not an angry drunk and can blow most things off with out starting a fight, at least not that you’ve seen.

she likes to bring up old memories with you. she gets this sparkle in her eyes when she says “hey do you remember when we…”

1. Erwin

I knew opposite attraction is always the strongest. Since y/n is sweet, friendly, funny and a wholesome person who can heal anyone with her words.... I thought maybe she'll be able to heal Levi's wounded mind too? After all she's a doctor... So I placed her in Levi's squad and ordered him to protect her. I took a bet and it seems like I have won again. I'm happy for both of them.... At least Levi isn't using too much slang or curse words like before. (Chuckle)

2. Hange

Y/n is a clumsy girl... But Levi is an organised one.... I love it that Levi's taking a good care of my bestie. And that y/n is healing both Levi's physical and mental wounds too! I didn't find it shocking at all.... I mean my bestie can make any guy fall in love with her sweet personality. Anyway.... (Psycho smile) I'm just curious about how Levi is in bed.....

Oh that short doctor and Levi? I don't know what to say..... I guess it's their own business that they're in a relationship.... And it wasn't shocking at all.... I'm glad they're together.... It was obvious kind of... The captain was always so protective and kind towards y/n.... And y/n Sensei is a the sweetest doctor I've ever seen... Ngl but I've shared some of my miseries with her and she consoled me in the best way possible..... She probably did the same with Levi heichou too.... I can understand why heichou loves her so much.

6. Eld

I'm happy for them... I mean the captain seems more like a human when she's with him. And she always cheers us all up with her wholesome and sweet and energetic mental energy. She's a peace in the Levi's squad... Maybe in the whole scouts.... I'm glad heichou had finally find peace in her and that they're together now.

7. Petra

Y/n Sensei in the best person for heichou.... I'm glad for them. Y/n Sensei even knew that I had a crush on him.... And that I sometimes felt sad that he loves Sensei, not me.... But she consoled me, healed me telling maybe someone better is waiting for me? (Chuckle) She's really a sweet person.... No wonder why heichou is so protective of her.... I even noticed heichou smiling softly at her when she's not noticing.... Or always the peace in his face when she's with him.... She even cured his insomnia.... I'm so happy for heichou.... I'm so glad that he's happy.

Well... (nervous smile) What should I say? I'm happy for them? I mean I don't wanna say anything inappropriate and get kicked by heichou again.... But I'm glad they're in a relationship.... Sometimes we are saved from heichou's wrath for y/n Sensei... Maybe that's a good thing....

Yeah I'm happy for them.... But sometimes it feels so weird when captain asks me with his jealous tone why she's so happy when she's bragging about some shitty books with me.... A/n: readers personality will be based off of futaba sakura from persona 5 also probably will be ooc since it's been months since I played persona 5 also this is really lazy LMFAOO

Annie and Mikasa had been planning a special surprise for Y/n for weeks. They wanted to take her on a memorable and exciting date, but there was one small problem—they remembered that Y/n had a fear of public places. They didn't want her to feel uncomfortable or anxious, so they decided to come up with an alternative plan.

On the day of the surprise, Annie and Mikasa arrived at Y/n's house with smiles on their faces. Y/n opened the door, slightly confused but intrigued by their excitement. "Hey guys! What's going on?"

Annie stepped forward, grinning slightly. "We have a surprise for you, Y/n. But first, we need you to trust us and let us handle everything."

Y/n's curiosity piqued, and she nodded hesitantly. "Alright! I trust you both. What's the surprise?"

Mikasa chimed in, her voice gentle and reassuring. "Since we know you're not comfortable with public places, we've planned an indoor date, right here at your house. We'll take care of all the details, and all you have to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy."

Y/n's eyes widened in surprise, her heart warming at their thoughtfulness. "You guys really thought of everything, didn't you?"

Annie smirked. "Of course, we did. We want this to be a memorable day for you."

As Y/n followed Annie and Mikasa inside, she was greeted by a beautifully decorated living room. Soft candlelight flickered, casting a warm glow, and a table was set with delicious food and drinks. It was like stepping into a cozy, intimate haven.

They sat down together, and Mikasa poured some soda into their glasses. "To an unforgettable indoor date," she said, raising her glass.

"For our dear beloved." Annie added, clinking her glass against Mikasa's.

Y/n couldn't help but smile, feeling grateful for the amazing girlfriends she had. They spent the evening sharing stories, laughing, and enjoying each other's company. The room was filled with warmth and joy, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Annie had brought countless games for everyone to play, It was 12-10 Annie beating Mikasa.

"Thus food is so good, Mika and Annie!" I shove down the delicate meat, The sauce getting on my fingers

"Slow down eating, Y/n.."

Before I could reply to Annie I start choking, My eyes watering as I immediately grab my drink

As the night came to a close, Mikasa brought out a homemade dessert, a sweet treat that she had spent hours perfecting. Y/n's eyes sparkled with delight as she savored each bite, feeling the sweetness "Yummy! So much delicious food..!"

As they said their goodbyes, Y/n couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the love and thoughtfulness of her girlfriends, She hugged Annie and Mikasa tightly. "Thank you both so much.. This was truly an incredible date! Can you guys stop by tomorrow and play games with me!?"

Annie smirked, her eyes softening. "Anytime, Y/n. We're always here for you, We'll be here tomorrow 12 pm sharp."

Mikasa nodded, her voice filled with sincerity. "Remember, you don't have to face your fears alone. We'll always find a way to make things special for you, This was really fun to do." Mikasa then planted a kiss on my forehead

With that, Y/n bid them farewell, Walking back Inside to finish the delicious meals

- you felt your heart bang with every word that came out of your wife’s mouth. her voice riddled with irritation at your lack of understanding, as you continued to go back and fourth. “I don’t like the idea of you out there for that long!” You shouted, desperately trying to explain. “You’re being dramatic,” she said, “it’s apart of my job, y/n. Theres nothing I can do about it!” It felt like you two had been saying the same thing over and over again. “6 months? Halfway across the world?! And you’re okay with that?!” You shouted angrily. “I have orders, y/n. I don’t have a choice.” She said sternly. “And there is nothing I can do or you can do to change that!” her aggressive words hit you in the heart as you felt your eyes start to water. the air was finally quiet for a few moments as you processed everything. ‘she has to. It’s her job. i need to understand that…’ you thought. But you just couldn’t. you just couldn’t stand the thought of mikasa being gone that long. the silence finally broke in the air as your voice choked up “I just don’t want you to leave me..!” your voice broke, as the tears you’d been holding in did aswell. You choked out sobs, deep, heavy, sobs, as your voice shattered sentences of incoherent. Mikasa froze for a moment, before her gaze went soft as it lied on you. her warm embrace laced hands around your figure as it held you tightly, her eyes filling with sadness. “Oh..don’t cry love..” she whispered as your cries continued, her arms wrapping lovingly around you. “I know darling, I know this is hard.” Mikasa said, as her hand raised your face from your palms to look you in the eyes. her fingers caressed tears off your face as she helped you calm down. “I promise you, I’ll never leave you.. no matter what distance lays between us.”

“You never listen to me! Ever! I mean fuck y/n why do I even bother at this point?!” Annie shouted angrily, her tone filled with more rage than usual. It started off as a dumb couples fight to now a full on argument spurring out angered insults with mindless thinking. “Oh really? You’re one to talk! That’s all you ever do is blame everything on me!” You spat back. Annie’s figure swiftly turned around to face you, “you’re the one that starts shit y/n, not me.” she sternly said. “I put up with your shit every day for the past 5 years. 5 YEARS Y/N! I’ve had to mother you! I’ve had to care for you! IM BASICALLY A GODDAMN BABYSITTER!” Her screams rang in your ears as you closed your eyes, her aggressively packing her bags.“Seriously?” You mutter out, “I’ve sacrificed friendships, I’ve sacrificed LIVES for you! I’ve sacrificed everything just to be with a warrior! I’ve done so much for you!” you screamed back. Annie looked at you, her eyes as stern as ever. “ All you’ve ever done for me is cause me problems,” her voice was serious, her voice was real. i think that’s the part that hurt the most, the fact that her voice said what her mind wanted to. and she was being honest. The anger you once had in your eyes faded to a soft gaze as you felt your heart shatter. Your eyes filled with tears as you stayed silent, trying not to cry. “That’s all you ever do.” Annie sternly said, failing to realize your soft whimpers would soon break into sobs. as you felt your world crashing down on you as tears streamed down your cheeks, your palms held your face in your hands as you cried. Annie turned back around from stuffing a shirt in her suitcase, her eyes landing on you. she stayed silent as you cried, not knowing what to do. But what she did know, that she really fucked up. Annie glanced at your figure, feeling that out of regret and guilt arise in her stomach. She softly came towards you, her arms carefully wrapping around your body as you dug your head into her shoulder, sobbing. “I’m sorry..” she whispered into your hair. “I’m sorry..” she said a bit louder. But you could tell from the tone in her voice, that she was being honest.

“Please y/n, I’m not in the mood.” Your girlfriend said, tiredness on her face. “But you said you’d stay tonight..” you disappointedly breathed out. “I barley see you enough as it is. You can’t just stay a few hours?” the woman turned around swiftly to look at you, “I don’t know how many times I have to repeat myself. I said no y/n, what part of that do you not understand?!” Her aggressive response caught you off guard, your air feeling more heavy around you. “..you don’t have to yell at me pieck..” you softly muttered out before she cut you off. “Well sometimes you just don’t fucking listen!” She shouted aggressively, taking out her anger on you. “Pieck stop! I don’t want to fight with you!” You called back, trying to calm her down. “Then stop being so needy all the time and let me rest!” She replied. Her words made you feel like a burden as you felt your chest get tighter, confused and saddened as to what you did wrong. “..fine…” you sighed out, turning away to walk upstairs. You heard pieck mutter a “finally” under her breath as your vision became blurred, tears swelling up in your eyes. You turned back around in the doorway to look at pieck. “..I’m sorry If i did something wrong..” your voice wobbled out, catching her attention. Pieck starred at you, tears flowing down your face as you slightly hummed soft cries. She was token aback by your state, clearly now realizing how she acted towards you. “Oh.. dove..” pieck softly said, “no..no no sweetie” the messy haired woman came over to you, her eyes fixated on your own watery orbs. Guilt plastered on her face as she hugged you tightly, making you take in a deep breath to stop your sobs from getting worse. “Honey, I’m so sorry dear.. I don’t know what gotten into me lately.. I’ve just been so stressed.. I shouldn’t of token it out on you love… I’m so sorry sweetheart please don’t cry..” she said, drying your tears with tissues. “I..know you’ve been… stressed.. and I’m sorry I just miss you…” you managed to get out in between breaths. “Im sorry darling..”

The one night that you rarely have with you and hange alone, cancelled all because of some stupid paperwork they could get to in the morning? “Seriously Han?! Do you know how long we’ve been planning this?” You hear hange sigh from their desk as they touch the bridge of their nose. “I’ve told you y/n I have too many things to do! Why do I have to keep repeating myself like a skipping record?!” Hange scolded at you. Apparently this date meant more to you then it did to her. Way more. To the point they’d rather do paperwork than go on it. “You can do that shit in the morning! This is the one night we finally can go out and you’re telling me no?!” You angrily shouted at her. “Fuck hange! I’ve barley seen you in weeks! I wake up and your not there! I go to sleep and your not there! Why is everything about your fucking work?! Why is it never about me?!” You shouted at them, their face filling with more irritation than before. “I’m not saying it again.” They said, picking back up their pen and scribbling down on their paperwork. “Really? You’re really gonna do this to me?” You said, trying to not flip out on them. Hange didn’t reply, but just ignore you. “Gonna ignore me like you always do, huh?” You scoffed. A rage burning up inside you as you ranted. “You know why the hell are you even in a relationship if you’re commander?! You leave me out in the fucking dust! You act like I’m not even there! Is all I am just a fuck to you when you’re too stressed to function?! Huh?! Is that paperwork more important than me-“ “YES! FUCK ANYTHING TO SHUT YOU UP!” they yelled, cutting you off. You felt your heart sink as they screamed, going on about how you never listen, always complain, how they’re always too busy and stressed. Too focused on their rant to notice the tears falling down your eyes and your small shaky breaths. “AND I DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH ENERGY TO DEAL WITH Y-“ they cutt themself as they saw your shattered figure, your eyes filled with tears as they kept streaming like a river down your face, dripping onto the floor. ‘At least now they were quiet, huh hange?’ they thought, realizing how badly they hurt you. You just started at the floor avoiding eye contact as they breathed out a sigh, fixing their glasses. “I..c-come here love.” They said, their hand gesturing for you to come closer as they walked towards you. Hange sighed as they felt you collapse into their arms, not knowing when the last time they held you like this was. She let you sob, rubbing circles onto your back as she occasionally pressed kisses into your hair, relaxing into you. “I know I haven’t been the best partner, y/n. I’m not a good partner at all. I’m sorry.”

“I am doneee!!! Donee!! No more arguing i cant hear you!!” Sasha plugged her ears as you continued to pour out everything that was in you. From the late nights out, to the not knowing where she was. It was too much. You’d never get a serious answer, all you’d get is your concerns blown off with a ‘ehh you’re dramatic babe’ it was like she took nothing seriously. Not your emotions. Not your concerns. Not even your relationship. “Sasha fucking stop!” You yelled. “I’m trying to talk to you about something that concerns me and all you do is plug your ears and ignore me!” You cry out. “Do you even care about us at all?!” You say, to be greeted with a nonchalant “oh wow and now you think I don’t care?” Sasha scoffed, hopping off the counter. “You’re frustrating me! Maybe you’d know what it is if you’d actually listen!!” You yelled out. “Oh trust me, I listen.” She bit into her Apple. “I have to listen to your insecurities all the time. And I have to deal with ‘em. I’ve gotta put up with ‘em!” She remarked back, making you even more frustrated. “Then why don’t you do anything about it?! Why don’t you care?!” “Damn it y/n I do!” “Then shut up and listen!” She laughed at your remark, confusing you. “Gosh you really don’t quit do you?” Sasha chuckled, making your blood boil. You had enough, you were so filled with rage and hurt. You felt tears start spurring out your eyes as you yelled and cried and sobbed, catching Sasha off guard. “Y/n?” She looked around, lost. “Hey-uh..” Sasha just starred at you and your broken figure, sobbing and crying. “D-did I really make you that upset..?” She questioned, taking in the state you’re in. “Babe..” they came closer to you as you muttered a “go away..” in between sobs. “Hey no nooo babe.. ah gosh..” Sasha said, trying to comfort you. “Ah..please don’t cry pretty, I’m sorry darlin’..” she hugged you tightly, pressing your figure up agaisnt hers. “I’m gonna do better honey, I promise.”

annie's roof was your safe place, you liked to come there often whenever you were stressed, laying on the slanted roof for hours with annie by your side. you had known annie since you were a kid, your personalities meshing together perfectly. she was there for you for every heartbreak, rubbing your back and giving you soft hugs, and every lovesick ramble, watching you talk about your crush with eyes turned to the ground, finding it hard to listen to you talking about someone who wasn't her this way. annie was always looking at you, admiring whenever the sun kissed your flesh, every smile, and every beautiful mark on your face. but you weren't clueless, you would glance over at her, meeting her glassy gaze before she looked away, a light blush dusting her cheeks. but neither of you ever said anything, letting your feelings bubble up, but soon enough, you knew they would overflow.

you had a hard week, your professors had assigned you so much work, and you had gotten hardly any sleep all week. texting annie about his problem, she immediately texted you back with a quick "come over. im on the roof :)". you smiled at her response, sending her a simple "thank u" as you collected your things and headed over to her house. once you arrived, you went directly to the roof, smiling when you saw annie already sitting there, with a blanket and a bag of chips, wearing a hoodie that you gave her a while ago. "hi annie" you said, plopping down next to her and immediately grabbing a handful of chips. annie wrapped an arm around you, "hey, so what's been going on? you seem tired". you nodded, leaning into her touch. "yeah, just school has been overwhelming me you know, and of course that's impacting my sleep so overall i sort of feel like shit" you said, sighing deeply. annie hummed, reaching over you to grab another chip. "im sorry you feel like that, you know you can always come over and sleep at my place if you need help sleeping" she said, laying down and stretching out on the blanket. you nodded, laying down next to her. you noticed that annie seemed quieter today, almost as if she was thinking about something. you turned over, laying on your side to face her. you poked her gently on the side, giggling when you saw her pout. "what's on your mind annie? you're quiet tonight" you remarked, sweeping some of her loose hair out of her face. her cheeks reddened slightly at your touch, looking away to distract herself. "mm a few things, if im being honest." she said, eyes flicking back to yours to see your reaction. you laughed softly, slightly moving your body closer to annie's. "so? tell me what's up annie! you know you can tell me anything" you said, smiling at her. annie promptly got butterflies, the sight of your smile making her heart lift. she nodded, "yeah i know, i just.. i don't want to ruin what we have." your eyes widened, partially catching on to what she meant. you took a chance and reached for her hand, taking it in yours gently, squeezing it a couple times. "trust me annie, there's nothing you could say that would ruin what we have." you said softly, now rubbing her hand to calm her. "well i- i know you're not dumb, i know you've seen me looking at you a few times.. uh well the reason why is that um.." she stuttered, unable to meet your curious gaze. you let go of her hand and cupped her face, causing her eyes to meet yours. you giggled at her unusually pink face, "i know what you wanna say annie" you said, finally leaning forward and pressing a gentle kiss on her lips. and as you expected, she reciprocated, shifting her body closer to you to deepen the kiss. you broke off the kiss first, taking a breath to calm your heart. annie smiled, relief flooding her features at the reciprocation of her feelings. "c'mere." she said, opening her arms and letting you slide into them, taking a deep breath and savoring the feeling of finally having you in her arms. she reached for your hand again, kissing your knuckles gently. "can we just stay like this forever?" she sighed, relaxing under you. "there's no reason that we can't stay like this forever, and i have absolutely no problem with that" you said gently, pressing you lips to hers once again, and annie decided she would definitely like to stay like this, with you, forever.
