Character of your choice has an S/O with a really strong gift (also your choice) that can easily get out of hand. During an intense fight S/O is forced to use their gift, but it goes haywire and becomes a threat to everyone in the area.

Let's casually ignore the fact that it took me 3 years to write one scenario (I don't even know if this is written well)

A/N: This blog is still on semi-hiatus because I have nearly 100 requests in the askbox and I don't know how regularly I can actually post, but I will also be taking requests at my personal blog here where it is hopefully a little less cluttered. I appreciate any of you that actually interact with this post! <3

Chuuya knew better than anyone what having an overpowered ability was like. He could no longer remember the amount of times that he had lost control when he activated Corruption, and the amount of times that the ability was canceled out by that bandaged asshole the moment before he was consumed by his ability entirely.

However, Dazai wasn't here now. There was no one to stop either of you if your abilities ran out of control.

"_____!" Chuuya yelled out as he watched you get thrown across the field.

You cursed to yourself as you oriented yourself after skidding across the ground and slamming into one of the trees surrounding the field. This was supposed to be an easy mission. The ability users in this enemy organization had nothing on you. There were no extraordinarily powerful abilities and they had small numbers.

Yet both you and the mafia executive were struggling to stand your ground.

You slowly stood back up, stumbling as you struggled to regain some sense of stability. You looked down at your body and a dark look fell upon your face as you saw your body start to slightly glow.

Your ability was not one that could be consciously activated. While it could decide the outcome of a battle in an instant, the threat of it running amok always kept you from letting yourself fall into a state of being forced to use it - and the few times that you were forced to use it, you could not stop it.

Similar to how Chuuya had to rely on Dazai to stop him from being consumed by Corruption, you once had to rely on the former executive to avoid completely wreaking havoc on the environment around you.

The wind picked up around you as you stood up with an empty look in your eyes.

This isn't an enemy I can just brute force my way through. Whatever consequences there, I have no choice but to accept them.

You shot into the air at supersonic speeds, with winds resembling a tornado following your path. When you came back down, there was an immense explosion that centered at where the enemy was positioned.

The battle didn't last for very long after that.

However, the defeat of these enemy ability users didn't mean that it was the end. An eerie glow could be seen through the dust with a vague figure showing from the center of the blast.

The trees slowly began to be ripped apart by the wind that was ravaging through the field. Your subordinates that had abilities were able to keep themselves grounded with their own abilities. Your subordinates that did not have abilities were not so lucky.

"Shit," Chuuya said to himself, his coat and hat falling off of him as he used his ability to leap towards you. "_____!"

You heard him, but you also didn't. Some part of you was able to process that he was there and approaching, but you didn't have enough control to be able to respond.

The terrain immediately surrounding you began to get levitated into the air and launched itself towards him. You vaguely glanced at him as he dodged, blocked, and punched through the debris with his own ability.

When he finally broke through, you raised your hand to prepare to throw him across the field that would kill any normal person from the impact.

However, your hand stopped right before striking him as he placed his hand on your shoulders.

"The enemy's defeated," he said quietly, despite the roaring wind. "You can rest now."

His words shouldn't have been able to reach you. They weren't even audible. Yet, you simply looked straight into his eyes without moving a muscle.

"Come home to me, _____."

He looked straight into your eyes with a determined look on his face that was softening the longer you two locked eyes.

"I know how hard it is to control. I know how good it feels to fall into it and let it consume you, but you are, and always will be, more than just your power."

Your lips slightly parted, as if you were trying to respond.

"Come home."

With those decisive words, a final strong gust of wind blew across the field centering at you before completely dying down. You collapsed forward into his arms, barely able to keep yourself standing. Your breath was hot and shaky and you felt like every cell in your body was threatening to fall apart.

"Y-You're a dumbass," you said quietly, gripping at his shoulders.

It shouldn't have been possible. There was no Dazai to cancel out your ability. Every single possibility involved your body tearing itself apart from your ability. Yet here you were, falling into Chuuya's embrace, having grounded yourself and finding yourself within the chaos that was the special ability that you didn't ask for.

"If we're being honest with each other," he said, pulling back a little so he could see your face, "I think it was worth being a dumbass if it meant bringing you back."

Chuuya knew better than anyone what it was like to have an overpowered ability that was impossible to control. Because of that, he was determined to bring you back if you ever lost control. He didn't know if he would succeed, but he knew that he was willing to throw everything away for even the miniscule chance of bringing you back to him.

Is there a specific time that you will be accepting?

Hello! The admins have all been chatting and have decided that the offical acceptance date and time is now SUNDAY 19TH MARCH at 8PM GMT. The applications box will be closing at 5PM GMT the same day, giving the admins time to look over each application to decide who will get which character and write up our acceptance posts. This date has changed from Saturday as the admins want to enjoy the process of reading all of the beautiful apps over together and it was the only date/time we were all free - as our lovely anon said before, we do have out of the wizarding world commitments as well. The opening date will remain the same which is MONDAY MARCH 20TH - when we expect to see people posting on the dash. There is no strict time for this. We hope you are all understanding and we are excited to get going.

Appearance

Jas is a 5'3" (1.6 m) young woman. She takes after her mother, so she has light brown skin (with warm undertones encouraged by lots of time in the sunshine), curling (shoulder-length) dark brown hair, even darker eyes, and curvy hips*. Even as she becomes famous, her go-to is t-shirts with cardigans, jeans & boots. When she's forced to look more professional, she wears blouses with nice pants, bracelets & wedge-heeled boots (dresses are rare). Her makeup is pretty limited to black eyeliner & the occasional watermelon-colored lipstick.

She's loved reading her entire life. Reading has always meant going on adventures & daydreaming in a more solid, respectable fashion. Jas has also always loved the concept of love: finding things that make people happy, having friends who inspire laughter & eventually meeting someone even more beautiful, loyal & wonderful than the sunrise. Yeah, well, it took her a while to find some of that. Her parents have always had a loving marriage. They also pushed her to succeed in academia, to the point where she nurtured her perfectionist temperament & graduated with honors after skipping 2 grades. She also wasn't partying or dating, because it didn't come naturally to her. So when she met Eric Faulkner through a coworker, she thought she was lucky. He was handsome, intelligent, sexually adventurous & he really liked her. He even supported her when she decided to take time off from her wedding planning career, to write a steamy urban fantasy novel instead. Or so she thought. She's currently in the middle of a divorce, because he cheated on her with the aforementioned coworker. (Jas found out 7 months after their wedding, but it had been going on since they were dating, apparently.) Oh, & he's got her in a legal battle, claiming he basically wrote half of her book--the one that just became a bestseller (Blood Ties: Seductive Enchantment).

Personality

Jas is an introvert. She spends lots of time with just a handful of people at once, disliking crowds due to her anxiety. Oddly enough, she loves modern rock music. Her favorite activities include reading, swimming, tai chi, rock climbing, watching action movies, collecting art prints & running her historical misconceptions/queer representations blog, The World Was Conquered by a Bisexual. Basically, she's very introspective, weirdly funny & admiring of the small things. On the flip side, she gets deeply frustrated when a seemingly easy task is hard for her and she equates taking a break with failure. Because of this, she is a hard worker, which helps with her career(s). She's also incredibly loyal and protective when it comes to her friends. Unfortunately, she has trouble valuing herself & in a relationship, she might never believe that her significant other loves her unconditionally.

Her new apartment rent (2 beds) is $5534 (so $2767 for her). It has 2 baths, it's middle-class & cats are allowed.

Eric gets paid about $150000 as a UX Developer.

Jayn's sold over 200000 books in the 7 months since Blood Ties was released. Total, she's earned about $163000, as each costs $16 after production costs & she receives royalties of 10%. Her job is her publisher.

Her wedding had around 50 people (about half were hers) & it cost her parents about $65000.

Hello hello! Not long left to go now guys! For those who have applied or are working on their apps or studying up for their apps, we have gone through each and every bio and updated them all with links to other bios.

We have also created this handy year of birth list which can be accessed through the navigation page, and shows the year each character is born in. 

We did notice some errors here due to changes we’ve made throughout the time we’ve been planning up until open so some characters year of births will have changed. 

The one listed on their bio now is the correct one and should match up with who is in their bio for their time at school, which should also be shown in the same tag. Sorry for any inconvenience, but if you wondered why the year on your app might be different to the character, it’s our fault (mainly my fault). 

Hope this helps clear any confusion up with years/ages and school years! We can’t wait to read your apps!

I'd be looking for a crackship gifset of Kat Graham (w/curly dark hair, doesn't have to be from The Vampire Diaries) & Jamie Campbell Bower (as Jace from the movie City of Bones)...so if those people are on their banned FC list, that's a nope I guess.

I'm an early 20s person who lives w/their family & doesn't have a job. I appreciate people who do edits & fic requests for free. I know (from that 1 time I made some icons) that that kind of stuff can be tedious & people are busy. But I don't have money to spend.

I'm not demanding that this be done in any time frame (I don't know why anyone would, but I just wanna put that out there).
