Ahh, wouldn't it be nice if I didn't have a panic attack every time I need to make a phone call? Wouldn't it be nice if I had enough backbone to stand up to the dentist who royally screwed me over and left just barely enough tooth to fool my crown into sticking but inevitably comes loose after a few days? Wouldn't it be nice if I didn't have a giant hole in my smile? Wouldn't it be nice if this didn't happen the week before I go on vacation to meet my girlfriend's entire friend and family network for her sister's wedding???

Feeling a bit extra today. 40 seconds of animation (though it’s mostly just pointless delays between frames). I even made a simple walking animation just because.

Based on my own random headcanon. I should stop giving myself prompts. 

I’m... a bit frustrated with Photoshop CS6′s animation... For some reason invisible layers sometimes gets stuck in place and not move even though I’ve selected the layer to drag and move it together with the visible layers. 

Oh well, maybe I’m doing something wrong. I'm way more comfortable with CS3, but CS6 allows me to do stuff CS3 can’t so arrrrggghh >__<

Ranking Star Wars movies

Its almost May the fourth, and this was inspired by Ben Shapiro’s terrible version so, I thought I might give it a go. Its ok if you disagree with me, since this is purely opinion based (mostly) almost all versions of this ranking can be correct. (you know subjective... in the eyes of the audience... etc) 

plz no hate... I’m fragile lol. 

Ok so 2 quick things

1, I’m sorry, it starts out pretty angry and critical but then steadily gets more happy and praise filled, I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings but I have been very passionate.

2. I will not insult the actors. The actors all did a good job. I do mention if something is particularly great. but they were doing what they were told and doing it well. It’s not my place to diss actors, I’m here to criticise the movies. 

Starting from worst moving up to best: 

1 The Force Awakens. 

what. even. was. this. I actually get so angry thinking about it. 

2 The Last Jedi. 

why. Luke was so great. why did they substitute him for Jake Skywalker and then just. ugh. so bad. 

3 The Rise of Skywalker 

the only reason that this is higher than the others. and the only reason I am not dancing around its corpse’s bonfire screaming was the acting. The actors were really good. At moments I even liked Rey because of how hard Daisy Ridley worked to make her character compelling. that’s as far as the praise goes I’m afraid. It nullified Vader and Luke’s sacrifice and I cannot stand for that. At all. I’m getting angry even thinking about Palatine and the cloning thing and arrrrggghh. I’m going to stop before I cry. 

Also, identity theft is not Ok, Rey. 

4 The Phantom Menace. 

I did not dislike this as a film... I actually liked Jar Jar Binks, buuutt... it wasn’t quite as good as the others. I also really didn’t love the neimiodians. But it did introduce Darth Maul and Duel of the Fates, so kudos. (also I love Liam Neeson as Qui Gon) and I didn’t really dislike little Ani’s introduction into the franchise.

I think some of it was catered towards children, and although many people have said children would like it better if it wasn’t or that it was a poor decision, my 7 year old sister said it was her favourite Star Wars out of the originals and the two prequels she could watch... so I guess that Lucas was right to include cute stuff kids would like... (she’s not old enough for the battle of heroes final bit yet, we’ll see if she changes her mind later!)

5 Attack of the Clones

SO I actually loved Hayden Christiansen’s acting. He did a really good job. All of them did, but I felt obliged to say that to rebuff the honest trailers’ cruelty about this particular film. I thought mildly creepy teenage dork Padawan Anakin (or Padawanakin as my family has dubbed him) worked pretty well. Ok, so a lot of the dialogue was not great, but mullet Kenobi was awesome, I found the romance compelling... (although, I’m not sure if that’s just cause I identified with Anakin’s social blundering) and I really loved the introduction of Kamino. Also. Clones! Count Dooku was great too, anything with Christopher Lee is a big win ... Also I loved Padme’s costume design so much. That lovely pastel gradient one by the lake was just -chef kiss- awesome... ok I’m done now sorry... 

“I don’t like sand” is a good line and you can fight me.

6 A New Hope. 

This is where the ranking gets complicated because I love all of them. (I loved TPM and AOTC too but yeah) 

the gap between the caliber of the films gets less and less vast as we go but now it gets tricky. so if you disagree from here on in, fine. 

I loved a new hope, but the reason its only 6 is because I didn’t get that invested in the characters first movie in. (that I think is where TPM gets it right) as a little girl I would frequently dress up as princess leia’s iconic look. I love this movie. great climax, great pay off, great characters. Great acting. Just a really solid movie with good world building and interesting characters. 

Also, its nice to see a less macho dude as the hero, right? Rather than blundering about and aggressively quipping on his friends, Luke is kind and genuine and I liked seeing that in a male lead. 

7 Empire Strikes Back. 

See. I told you ranking was getting tricky. 

This movie was phenomenal and break through when it came out. I think I had heard the ‘I am your father’ trope before I watched the movie, unlike people who watched it for the first time, so that may be why its not higher on my list. But Yoda and Luke and Vader were awesome. Princess Leia was both feminine and badass, which as a little girl watching it, inspired me. and Han Solo is just really really really awesome. 

8. AAaahhh. I don’t know. I love both of these films like tonnes. but. 

Revenge of the Sith. 

Ok. beautiful Shakespearean style tragedy climax. Padme’s tragic wonderfulness. Obi Wan freaking Kenobi. Palpetine’s subtle awful cruelness. The tragic hero war veteran trying so hard but ultimately failing in the end, Anakin Skywalker. Hello there. General Grievous was really cool. Hayden’s acting was incredible. I believed that Anakin was deeply conflicted and  wrapped around Palpetine’s finger the whole time, I genuinely could feel his every sadness and fear, his sorrow and his hate. It was beautifully acted. that Window scene with Padme and Anakin. the battle of Heroes. Such a wonderfully done film. I understand if there where some qualms about dialogue and pacing, but I genuinely loved it. this movie was a dark awful look at war and the people it scars and the tragic fall of an emotionally vulnerable and hurt young man. It is one of my favourite movies. 

9 Return of the Jedi. 

the only reason this is higher up on the list than ROTS is because it felt a little more...? nicely... something... polished maybe? I don’t know. 

This was a childhood favourite. Leia, again, badass. Han, again, badass. Luke and Leia being twins? As a little twin myself this was so cool to me! Ewoks... even they worked! not sure about troopers vs ewoks bit, but when you don’t think about it too hard its still badass. and I genuinely almost cried when unnamed Ewok 1 crouched over dead unnamed Ewok 2. I don’t cry at films. it is impressive that the lest compelling bit of the film compelled me enough to drive me almost to tears. 

Luke vs emperor vs Vader. I don't have enough room to fan girl here. I loved it. The more I learn of Vader and Luke, the better it gets. Luke almost turning to the dark side but not because he saw what it did to his father, Vader struggling with that inner conflict until finally, his pure love for his son overcame the twisted sad love for his abuser. That beautiful, beautiful moment where Vader is forgiven by Luke. Forgiven for everything that he did... he was redeemed with his last breath. thinking about this almost makes me cry even now. he was accepted into the force and joined Obi Wan and Yoda, even after everything he had done. Luke’s grace and love and hope are just beautiful. I love Luke Skywalker because of how hopeful and wonderful he is. and it’s not naive hope, it’s just hope. True. Genuine hope that he carries with him to the end. 

And that moment between Leia and Han and the end when the Death Star blows up, it summed up their relationship beautifully and was a lovely thing to watch. They worked so well together and it was wonderfully brought together by that moment. The quiet joy of Vader’s funeral and the loud hearty joy across the galaxy. 

This move was so beautiful. 

There we go. I’m done now. 

ooh, wait I forgot some, I liked the clone wars but it wasn’t perfect, like rebels, loved Rogue one, meh about the clone wars movie (what was that art style?), didn’t love but didn’t hate Solo. I think that's all of them. :)

There’s that moment, when you’re intrigued by a show for all the right reasons. For its place in the history of a genre, for its interesting art style, for its ~ambiance~ and then one character shows up and you go “welp, pretense is over, I am utter trash and this is my jam”? 

It could have been the 90s stupid script. It could have been the carnival aesthetics. It could have been the main lead getting lit on fire in the 5th episode. 

But no. 2.06 minutes in, and these jerks show up. 

Evil Robots. With feelings. And green and orange morality and stupid costumes and fricken Pantalone with his nose and flight abilities and existential questioning of his programming and arrrrggghh. 

I’m going to be Karakuri Circus trash until the show wraps up. Stupid sexy robots. Even the name is on brand for me.

Arrrrggghh so there’s some new TCG tins coming out that I really, really want to buy. There are some special Tag Team tins (featuring Eevee and Snorlax, Celebi and Venusaur, and Pikachu and Zekrom respectively) and also five of what are call ‘Kanto Friends Mini Tins (Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander, Pikachu, and Eevee-which all together form one big image), and I want all of them. But they aren’t out until the 17th, and while there’s other TCG stuff I still need to catch up one, something mentally is stopping me.

This would be a lot easier if I were able to go to League right now...

Chapter 3

Midoriya groggily made his way out of his room with a good 7 minutes to spare. Slowly but surely, he walked down the hallway to the elevator. He pushed the button and waited for the elevator to arrive. He waited for, what seemed like 3 minutes, and the elevator still hadn’t arrived. He pushed the button again and decided to wait for another minute.

“Tch. Stupid fucking Deku.” He heard Bakugou say from behind him. Wait. When did Kacchan get there? Izuku thought to himself.

“You fucking idiot. How long have you been standing here? Can’t you see the fucking sign right in front of your eyes that says, ‘Out of Order’ you fucking idiot. You really are that fucking useless, huh?” He scoffed. Izuku looked back to the elevator and saw a sign that said, ‘Out of Order’. He groaned You gotta be kidding me. I just wasted 4 minutes waiting for this stupid elevator.

“WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU CALLING STUPID, FUCKING DEKU?? HUH??” Bakugou screamed. Shit I must’ve said that out loud Izuku thought.

“YOU LITTLE SHIT IM GONNA FUCKING KILL YOU!” Bakugou continued screaming as he aimed an explosion at Izuku. Crap! What is wrong with me today!? I dodged that but just barely! Oh well, I don’t wanna deal with this right now! I’ll just have to run for it! Midoriya turned around and made a run for it. He down the corridor and down the stairs, with Bakugou close behind screaming bloody murder Well this is going to be a wonderful day isn’t it. Izuku thought to himself.

He ran as fast as he could to the common room, not even daring to look back to see if Bakugou was behind him. As he turned the corner into the common room he managed to muster the slightest bit of courage to look back. That was a mistake. A terrible mistake. As he turned his head to look behind him, he felt his feet catch on each other causing him to trip and fall. He closed his eyes readying himself for the impact. But it never came. All that he felt was a pair of muscly arms clasped tightly to his and a rapidly quickening heartbeat under his hands. Slowly, he opened his eyes and looked up only to see a pair of beautiful heterochromatic eyes looking down at him. He could feel his pulse starting to match the one under his fingertips and his face slowly heating up. Those eyes, those beautiful heterochromatic eyes that he loves so much, are peering into his, like the world would end if they looked away. His hands feel so rough and calloused, but so warm and protective. I just wanna stay like this forever. Wait! No, no! What am I talking about! Todoroki doesn’t feel that way about me! Why would he! What am I doing still in his arms! Arrrrggghh! I can’t believe I let myself fall for that, again, but this time literally!!

Quickly, Izuku jumped out of Todoroki’s arms and quickly stuttered out an apology “S-sorry Todoroki! I-I wasn’t l-looking w-where I was g-going! A-and K-Kacchan was ch-chasing after m-me and I-I w-wasn’t paying a-attention t-to where I w-was g-going! A-and I-- s-sor- “

“Midoriya.” Todoroki said in that honey-sweet voice of his hat just made Izuku melt. “It’s all right. It was an accident, there’s no need to worry I understand.” Izuku looked up to see Todoroki almost as red as Kirishima’s hair. An accident, yep, what was I expecting? Him to just walk up to me and declare his undying love? Heh. I don’t think so. But a guy can hope right? Midoriya let out a dejected sigh.

“Aww!!” Kaminari cooed “look at the cute lovebirds staring at one another as if the other held their life in his hands! You guys are in looooov-“

“Deku you fucking bastard get back here!” Bakugou yelled.

 (time skip to after Todoroki’s POV)

Kirishima Eijirou P.O.V

Kirishima led Bakugou over to the couch by the shoulder, the whole time whispering calming and soothing words in Bakugou’s ear to keep him from exploding (heh. See what I did there). They sat down next to each other on the couch.

“Dude, what was that all about?” Kirishima asked

“What does it fucking matter to you?” Bakugou mumble-yelled.

“Seriously man, what happened.”

“It’s fucking nothing!” Bakugou said a bit louder.

“Alright, alright! I’m sorry man! I’m just worried.” Kirishima said.

“Worried about what shitty-hair? I’m fine! Deku’s just bein’ a little shit.”

“Aww, come on bro, Midoriya’s like that. He’s ju-“

“He called me fucking stupid!” Bakugou said.

Oh. Well, I mean, Bakugou probably misheard him, right? Midoriya wouldn’t say something like that knowing what the possible consequences could be, no matter how harmless it sounded. Midoriya isn’t dull enough to call Bakugou stupid. Especially if Bakugou could hear him. Kirishima thought to himself.

“Well, whatever it was that happened, we can sort it out later, ok? Let’s just talk about something else right now.” Kirishima offered.

“What is there to sort out?! That little piece of shit called me stupid!” Bakugou said with a growl.

“Okay, whatever man. Let’s just talk about something else.”

“Like fucking what hair-for-brains?” Bakugou asked.

“Well, I don’t know… I mean…” Kirishima paused to think about subjects they could talk about. He moved a bit on the couch to make himself more comfortable and accidentally touched Bakugou’s leg. A small chill travelled up his arm and down his spine at the contact. He couldn’t help but notice how warm Bakugou was. Even with the slightest brush or the hand, Kirishima’s hand got considerably warmer. Weather that be because Bakugou was just a generally warm person or because it was Bakugou he was touching, he didn’t know. But he guessed it was both. Aaaarrgghhh!! I’m so gay for him! What happened to me! I used to me so much more chill about containing my feelings towards my crush!! But when I’m around him, everything just goes berserk! I can’t even breath normally anymore!! What is wrong with me!! Kirishima mentally berated himself, throwing his head in his hands and groaning.

“What the fuck Shitty-Hair? You don’t have to think about it too hard!” Bakugou said.

“Yeah, yeah, I know, I know. It’s just I don’t get it!” Kirishima complained.

“What the fuck don’t you get?!” Bakugou asked rather confused.

“No-nothing. S-sorry, I just- I just was thinking ‘bout something.” Kirishima lied.

“What the fuck were thinking about that made you so agitated?”

“Nothing. It’s fi-“

“Stop lying, Hair-for-brains.” Bakugou scolded him ”What the hell were you thinking about?”

Well shit. I’m busted. What do I say? What do I say? Ahhh, shit. Hhhhmmmmmmm. What. Should. I. Say?? God damn it.

“Umm…. Trigonometry...?” Kirishima said, ya know, like a liar.

“Fucking Trigonometry Hair-for-Brains? We just fucking went over that shit 2 days ago!” Bakugou complained “Tch. Fucking fine. We’ll go over it again tonight after we come back from wherever it is we’re going.”

“Yeah, ok. Thanks, Bakugou, I appreciate it.” Kirishima thanked him.

“No fucking problem. But you better remember it this time, you fucking idiot.” Bakugou snapped. At that, Kirishima gave a small laugh. “Alright.”
