Why Do The Catholic And Christian Parishioners Look The Other Way When T... All Praises to the Highest!! Haya Haya!! I am that I am!! Selah!! and May Peace be with you Family!! 2 Ne 2:2 "...he shall consecrate thine afflictions for thy gain". Most members of the church are all too familiar with this principle. It seems if there is one concept that is well appreciated it is this one-that the trials and tribulations of mortality serve God's purpose because they become the refining fire which purifies the soul and gives us experience. Some of the better quotes on this subject are included, Therefore, he giveth this promise unto you, with an immutable covenant that they shall be fulfilled; and all things wherewith you have been afflicted shall work together for your good, and to my name's glory, saith the Lord." (DC 98:3)."If thou art called to pass through tribulation...if the heavens gather blackness, and all the elements combine to hedge up the way; and above all, if the very jaws of hell shall gape open the mouth wide after thee, know thou, my son, that all these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good." (DC 122:5-7)My son, peace be unto thy soul; thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment; And then, if thou endure it well, God shall exalt thee on high; thou shalt triumph over all thy foes. Mormon 8:38, "O ye pollutions, ye hypocrites, ye teachers, who sell yourselves for that which will canker, why have ye polluted the holy church of God (Anokeseed)? Why are ye ashamed to take upon you the name of Christ (Yahawashi)? Why do ye not think that greater is the value of the endless happiness than the misery which never dies-because of the praise of the world?"   Wisdom OF Solomon 2: 22-24 "They didn’t know of God’s secret plan. Those who belong to the devil’s party experience death.""I saw among the nations of the Gentiles the formation of a great church. And the angel said unto me, “Behold the formation of a church which is most abominable above all other churches, which slayed the saints of God, yea, and tortured them and bindeth them down, and yoked them with a yoke of iron, and bringeth them down into captivity.” What is the Great and Abominable Church? www.whatdomormonsbelieve.com/18/03/2012/what-is-the-great-and-abominable-church/ www.whatdomormonsbelieve.com/18/03/20…Jeremiah 16:12 "And ye have done worse than your fathers Not only committed the same sins, but greater, or, however, attended with more aggravating circumstances; they were wilfully and impudently done, and obstinately persisted in; and therefore deserving of the great evil of punishment pronounced against them."  All Praises to the Most High!! Tafsir Ibn Kathir: Surah Al-A’raf Ayah 199-200
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
7:199 Show forgiveness, enjoin Al-'Urf (the good), and turn away from the foolish (don't punish them).
7:200 And if an evil whisper comes to you from Shaytan, then seek refuge with Allah. Verily, He is All-Hearer, All-Knower.
Showing Forgiveness
Allah says;
Show forgiveness, enjoin Al-'Urf (the good), and turn away from the foolish (don't punish them).
Abdur-Rahman bin Zayd bin Aslam commented on Allah's statement (Showforgiveness),
"Allah commanded (Prophet Muhammad) to show forgiveness and turn away from the idolators for ten years. Afterwards Allah ordered him to be harsh with them.''
And more than one narration from Mujahid says,
"From the (bad) behavior and actions of the people, of those who have not committed espionage.''
And Hashim bin Urwah said that his father said,
"Allah ordered Allah's Messenger to pardon the people for their behavior.''
And in one narration,
"pardon what I have allowed you of their behavior."
In Sahih Al-Bukhari it is recorded that Hisham reported from his father Urwah from his brother Abdullah bin Az- Zubayr who said;
"(The Ayah);(Show forgiveness)wasonly revealed about the peoples (bad) character.''
There is a narration from Mughirah from Hisham from his father from Ibn Umar; and another from Hisham from his father from A'ishah, both of whom said similarly. And Allah knows best.
Ibn Jarir and Ibn Abi Hatim recorded that Yunus said that Sufyan bin Uyaynah narrated that Umay said,
"When Allah, the Exalted and Most Honored, revealed this Ayah Show forgiveness, enjoin Al-`Urf (what is good), and turn away from the foolish), to His
Prophet, the Messenger of Allah asked,
`What does it mean, O Jibril!
Jibril said, `Allah commands you to forgive those who wronged you, give to those who deprived you, and keep relations with those who cut theirs with you.'''
Al-Bukhari said , " Allah said Show forgiveness, enjoin Al-`Urf and turn away(from the ignorant).
`Al-`Urf', means, righteousness.'' Al-Bukhari next recorded from Ibn Abbas that he said,
"Uyaynah bin Hisn bin Hudhayfah stayed with his nephew Al-Hur bin Qays, who was among the people whom Umar used to have near him, for Umar used to like to have the reciters of the Qur'an (who memorized it) near him and would listen to their opinion, regardless of whether they were old or young men.
Uyaynah said to his nephew, `O my nephew! You are close to this chief (Umar), so ask for permission for me to see him.'
Al-Hur said `I will ask him for you,' and he asked Umar for permission for Uyaynah to meet him, and Umar gave him permission. When Uyaynah entered on Umar, he said, `O Ibn Al-Khattab! You neither give to us sufficiently nor rule with justice between us.'
Umar became so angry that he almost punished Uyaynah. However, Al-Hur said, `O Chief of he Faithful! Allah, the Exalted, said to His Prophet,Show (forgiveness, enjoin Al-`Urf, and turn away from the foolish), Verily this man (Uyaynah) is one of the fools!' By Allah, Umar did not do anything after he heard that Ayah being recited, and indeed, he was one who adhered to the Book of Allah, the Exalted and Most Honored.''
Al-Bukhari recorded this Hadith. Some scholars said that people are of two kinds,
·       a good-doer, so accept his good doing and neither ask him more than he can bear nor what causes him hardship.
·       The other kind is the one who falls in shortcomings, so enjoin righteousness on him. If he still insists on evil, becomes difficult and continues in his ignorance, then turn away from him, so that your ignoring him might avert his evilness.
Allah said in other instances,
Repel evil with that which is better. We are best- acquainted with the things they utter. And say: "My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the Shayatin (devils). And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they should come near me.'' (23:96-98)
and,
The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil) with one which is better, then verily he, between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend. But none is granted it (the above quality) except those who are patient -- and none is granted it except the owner of the great portion in this world. (41:34-35)
in reference to the advice contained in these Ayat,
And if an evil whisper from Shaytan tries to turn you away (from doing good), then seek refuge in Allah. Verily, He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower) )41:36(
Allah said in this honorable Surah,
And if an evil whisper comes to you from Shaytan, then seek refuge with Allah. Verily, He is All-Hearer, All- Knower.
These three instances in the Qur'an, in Surahs Al-A`raf, Al-Mu'minun and As-Sajdah, are unique in the Qur'an. Allah encourages lenient treatment of evil doers, for this might deter them from persistence in their evil, Allah willing, (then verily he, between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend). (41:34)
Allah also encourages seeking refuge with Him from the devils of the Jinns. The devil will not be deterred if one is lenient with him, because he seeks your destruction and total demise. The devil to you, O mankind, is an open enemy, just as he was for your father before you.
Ibn Jarir said, while explaining Allah's statement (And if an evil whisper comes to you from Shaytan),
"If the devil lures you to get angry, thus directing you away from forgiving the ignorant and towards punishing him (then seek refuge with Allah.) Allah commands here to seek refuge with Him from the devil's whispers,
(Verily, He is All-Hearer, All-Knower.) Allah hears the ignorance that the fools subject you to, your seeking refuge with Him from the devil's whispers, and the rest of the speech of His creation; none of it escapes His knowledge. He knows what drives the lures of the devil away from you, as well as, the rest of what His creatures do.''
We mentioned the Hadiths concerning Isti`adhah (seeking refuge with Allah) in the beginning of this Tafsir, so we do not need to repeat them here.

A table of D&D town/village/hamlet quirks:
1-8: The town is slowly rising up out of the earth; right now, the village ground hovers a few feet above the crater it left behind.
9-12: The town’s punishment for all crimes, big and small, is the Silent Treatment.
13-17: The town hosts a “farmer’s market” where black market goods are exchanged, and all the members of the town council turn a blind eye.
18-20: The town is under a perpetual bubble of silence, and the population communicates in a dialect of Sign Language.
21-24: The town was involved in a deal with a devil many centuries ago, which has resulted in the last 2 generations of children being born as tieflings.
25-27: The town’s biggest industry is a dragon “conservation rangeland;” most of their “dragons” are just big normal lizards.
28-31: The local inn is a singles’ resort; local tourism reflects the matchmaking atmosphere, and they are enthusiastic with single adventurers.
32-38: The town was cursed to be perpetually blanketed by snow, but that was millennia ago; thanks to climate change, it has become a tropical paradise.
39-41: The town started off as a queer commune for exploring sexuality, but has since become just super gay. These days it has a yearly festival send-off for all the young adults who come out as straight.
42-43: The town is led by a newt. Not even a magic newt, just a newt. Someone is appointed to interpret the will of the newt. Newt election years are extremely divisive.
44-50: The town has an intense rivalry with a neighboring village, caused by duelling claims to being the birthplace of a goddess of trickery. The prank war has been going on for 300 years.
51-54: The town is home to a reclusive clown monastery.
55-57: The town is built over a portal to the Nine Hells, and is trying to build a reputation for its hot springs and bathhouses.
58-63: The town runs a municipal rune network; spells that normally cost huge fees are now covered by local tax dollars.
64-67: The town’s fishing hole is infested with aboleths. Everyone wears tinfoil hats to prevent psychic intrusions.
68-72: The town’s only nice restaurant is run by a mage who enchants the food to taste good but is a terrible host.
73-74: The town is completely deserted. There are no signs of where everyone went or why. Repeat visitors notice that it seems like people do live here--just not when strangers come to town.
75-78: The town has regular 5am marching band practice--in the town square. The general store sells noise-cancelling headphones and earplugs at a premium.
79-83: The mayor has an ongoing vendetta against the local healer because they seem a little too “new age-y,” and won’t allow anyone to go there or give directions to strangers on how to find her.
84-86: The town guard is made up of psionic warriors who have never actually thrown a punch or held a weapon in their lives.
87-90: Everyone in town works for a local factory, lives in company housing, and gets paid in scrip. Absolutely no one questions the ethics or legality of this.
91-93: The townsfolk are constantly bickering and airing each others’ dirty laundry and gossiping to newcomers.
94-98: The town has been overrun by a multi-level-marketing scam selling an anti-fungal cream.
99-100: The population of the town has grown so quickly that the only solution has been to dig underground catacombs to make room for new residents and businesses, but they’re trapped in a legal battle with someone who was living there first.

Matt Murdock NSFW alphabet
Tumblr media
Not my GIF
A/N: heyyyy, I’m just going to say right off that these are completely different ideas to the majority. But I mean we all have different ideas right? Saying that, I do hope you enjoy it anyway. But let me know what you think about Matt!! Sorry for any mistakes.
Genre: smut
Warnings: fem!reader, just smutty things, no actual sex though, religious imagery
Summary: An A-Z of Matt Murdock’s bedroom antics…
Tumblr media
A = Aftercare (What they’re like after sex)
Matt is so sweet and so good at aftercare. He always makes sure to overload you with cuddles and soft touches. He’ll always make sure you’re okay and ask you if you need anything.
B = Body part (Their favourite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)
He loves your neck. He loves how delicate and soft it is. He loves to lick, suck and bite at it. And he loves to wrap his hand around it to….
He doesn’t really have a favourite part of himself because he doesn’t really know if there is anything to like about himself. But he’d go with whatever you liked to use most. (His thighs and chest for me….0_0)
C = Cum (Anything to do with cum basically… I’m a disgusting person)
Wants nothing more than to come inside you. He loves the feeling of coming inside you, to feel you milk his dick.
D = Dirty Secret (Pretty self-explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs)
Before you were together he would stand on a tall building near your place and listen to you pleasure yourself. He could hear and smell you and it turned him on so much that sometimes he couldn’t help but touch himself too. It was wrong and weird but it became a nightly occurrence before you were a couple.
E = Experience (How experienced are they? Do they know what they’re doing?)
Matt is experienced enough for his own needs and your needs as well. You both enjoy learning about what makes each other excited and also learning about yourselves too.
F = Favourite Position (This goes without saying. Will probably include a visual)
Missionary and when you ride him. This are his go to’s but he will do others if that is the mood.
G = Goofy (Are they more serious in the moment, or are they humorous, etc)
Matt is serious 98% of the time. He will make the odd joke but thats only if you’re having a bad day. Other than that, he is always serious.
H = Hair (How well groomed are they, does the carpet match the drapes, etc.)
He’s probably an in-between of messy and neat. He’s neither but somewhere in the middle.
I = Intimacy (How are they during the moment, romantic aspect…)
He is always soft, gentle and loving. He’s always romantic, even when you ask him to wreck your insides.
J = Jack Off (Masturbation headcanon)
He does this far too often to relieve his stress because he would never take it out on you. (Unless you asked him too)
K = Kink (One or more of their kinks)
Choking - he loves choking you and he loves when you choke him. Just the feeling of your hand around his neck sends him to another layer of heaven.
Role play - there are a variety of roles he likes to play. His favourite (is one he’s very self conscious about) is where he can bring in his religion. When you are the angle and he is the devil.
Punishment - linking in with his religion, he likes when you punish him. He likes when you make him beg for forgiveness, but you know he’s only begging to you and not his god.
L = Location (Favourite places to do the do)
The shower/bath is his favourite just because of the extra feeling of the water and the heat.
But he’s a big lover of the bedroom, all depends on how you’re both feeling
M = Motivation (What turns them on, gets them going)
Above all else, your smell gets him going. His can smell your arousal and it drives him mad.
N = NO (Something they wouldn’t do, turn-offs)
Anything that involves blood. He smells and feels enough of it and he doesn’t ever want to smell to feel yours, especially if it comes from something he has done to you
O = Oral (Preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc)
He loves the stimulation you give him when you give him head so he would have to say he prefers receiving but he will always eat you out.
P = Pace (Are they fast and rough? Slow and sensual? etc.)
I think Matt is always a slow and sensual lover. I don’t think he would ever be rough with you unless you asked him to. You are precious to him and he wanted you to know that, he wants to take good care of you. He’s always gentle with you.
Q = Quickie (Their opinions on quickies rather than proper sex, how often, etc.)
He would much rather have proper sex. He isn’t really a fan of them.
R = Risk (Are they game to experiment, do they take risks, etc.)
Matt will do whatever it is you ask of him so yes. He is willing to experiment with you.
S = Stamina (How many rounds can they go for, how long do they last…)
Matt can go for a few rounds depending on his day and the amount of effort he puts in.
T = Toy (Do they own toys? Do they use them? On a partner or themselves?)
He doesn’t use any himself but he wouldn’t mind it. He’s heard how much pleasure they give you so he would like to try it out. But he doesn’t want to fall into competition with an inanimate object for who can pleasure you the best.
U = Unfair (how much they like to tease)
Matt is such a tease outside the bedroom. At dinner he’ll be constantly touching you under the table. Feeling up your thigh and moving his hand away just as it reaches your crotch. He’ll also be whispering things to you that he knows turns you on.
He is still a tease in the bedroom. He’ll get a little cocky with you when you tell him how much you want him.
V = Volume (How loud they are, what sounds they make)
I think he is quite loud. Louder than you expect. He’s holding back a lot so his noises end up coming out a lot louder than perhaps he would like.
They’re sort of breathless moans but then grown into grunts and whimpers. It’s kind of cute.
W = Wild Card (Get a random headcanon for the character of your choice)
I think he’s much more of a sub than most people. Of course he can be dominant but I think he just wants to be taken care of by you and he will fully submit himself into giving you pleasure and letting you have your way with him.
X = X-Ray (Let’s see what’s going on in those pants, picture or words)
We all know Matt is big. He definitely has more length than thickness but it’s still perfect.
Y = Yearning (How high is their sex drive?)
It is very high but he has very good self control. He could easily have sex at any point in the day but he always waits for you. Unless it becomes too much for him.
Z = ZZZ (… how quickly they fall asleep afterward)
Matt doesn’t really sleep in general but after sex he finds it a lot easier to get to sleep. He feels more relaxed.

Your infamous customer hadn’t arrived even as the restaurant closed. You watched close enough, fidgety in your movements and often bumping into other servers, all because your gaze kept darting back to the front door, awaiting his presence.
There’s no actual reason why you want to see him. Maybe it’s because he left an impression? The guy didn’t even budge after finding out someone had snuck into the kitchen to poison him, leaving you to wonder why anyone wanted to kill him. Not that it was any of your business, but you figured it was only common between powerful people who are equally greedy. Still, you’re unfocussed in your work, apologizing every now and then when your boss shook their head at you.
Thankfully, you managed to get back to your old pace. Thoughts of the white-haired tall man left the room at the same time everyone did, leaving only you and your boss in the locker room. You ended up working two shifts again on this weekend, your co-worker asking you to cover for them due to sudden family issues.
It’s tiring, that much is for sure, but you won’t complain when it’s more money down in your pocket. You’re dazzled, however, as you leave the locker room and see that your main chefs are still there.
Upon seeing you, they immediately usher you into a lone table, table 98 that remained untouched the whole night, a two lit candles illuminating the otherwise darkness of the isolated restaurant. Only this time, it’s occupied by him no less, his azure eyes flittering up to yours at the sound of your hesitant footsteps.
You’ve been looking for him the whole night, yet now that he’s in front of you, you don’t have any words to say. Instead, you bow down deep, the hands clasped in your lap shaking.
“S-Sir.”
“No need to be so nervous. I only wish to discuss something with you,” his laugh is so carefree, lighthearted as he gestures to the empty spot across him. “Take a seat,” Wordlessly, you foolow his orders and dash down to the seat, spine straight and head held high. There’s a hint of amusement in his small smile, but he doesn’t tease you, save for the lilting tone he held. “So you’re in sophomore year of university?”
“Yes, Sir. How’d you know?” You furrowed your brows, unsure of whether you’re supposed to expensive meal served in two.
Gosh, and this was on page three too, a single meal cost at least six months’ worth of rent.
“I pulled a string or two,” he lifts one shoulder lazily, waving his knife in the air. “And please, call me Satoru. Assuming we come to an understanding, things will go well for the both of us. You are in need of financial aid, yes?” You nod, utterly clueless in where this is leading, but Satoru’s already made up his mind long before he came here that he found no need in beating around the bush.
“Good. Then what do you say about being my sugar baby?”
“S-sugar baby?” you repeat the word first in confusion, then with distaste. He simply hums around the meat he’s eating, as if it’s a normal occurrence for him to inquire such things, and you scoff, crossing your arms on your chest.
You don’t care that this guy is your precious customer – he was just the same as everyone else.
“Is that the reason why you asked me to stay behind? Do you think you can just pay people to sleep with you? It may have worked on others, but not to me. I would rather keep my dignity than be with you,” you breathe hard after your rant, slapping your palms down on the table. The impact of it makes the table shake, his hand reflexively reaching to steady his wine glass. “As for what happened yesterday, you don’t have to thank me about it. I did what any right-minded person would.”
“And if I said I never wanted to be saved?” he asks, his tone still so calm that it further infuriates you. You stare at him, stunned and mouth gaping. “Sit down. I didn’t mean it that way.”
“Thank you for graciousness, Sir, but I really don’t—”
“Angel,” You freeze at the nickname. He chuckles with his forehead pressed to his clasped hands, “Do you really think I need to pay people to sleep with me? I could have anyone I want,” his voice falls an octave or two, the sonorous warning rumbling something…alien inside your body. You stand there, unable to move, and he easily sees through this as he hides a smirk behind his drink. “Sit down. I’m not done talking to you.”
You don’t know what snapped in you to actually follow, but his words weren’t just that. They were always laced with eased dominance, the words leaving his lips coming out as a command. No, it was more like a hypnotizing order, and you’re nothing but a puppet enslaved by it.
His smile only grows bigger, and you hate that he looks ridiculously handsome under the dim lights of the room. Life would’ve been much easier if this man had been ugly.
“As I was saying, this relationship should be casual, no strings attached. I’d prefer if you’re exclusive to me, and in return, I’ll cover all your school fees and everything else. As for the sex,” he cuts his eyes straight to yours, an intense burning heat in them. You squirm in your seat, a little intimidated, albeit excited, by this proposition too, though you’d rather die than let him know that, “I don’t need that from you. I just want someone to talk to.”
“You’re paying me to talk to you?”
“No,” he chuckles, “I’m saying you form a relationship with me in exchange of financial aid. You’d be similar to a lover, nothing less of a friend,” he stares at his drink so hard like he was having a debate with it. A few seconds later, he found his answer, the gleam in his eyes surreptitious as he says, “Someone I can trust.”
You huff. Surely it wasn’t easy as that. “Why me?”
“No reason,” he shrugged, “I just find you endearing, that is all,” You lean back on your seat, trying to process all this. The hesitance must be written all over your face because he adjusts his tie, sliding a white business card your way before sliding his chair back in. At least he’s well-mannered enough to do that. “You can take your time to think about it. There’s no need to rush.”
Somehow, seeing his figure retreat triggers something within you. You watch as silhouettes emerge from the darkness trail after him; must be his security team, serving as an additional note that what you so struggled to achieve was likely nothing for him.
Was it fear? Desperation? Shame?
You don’t know, you won’t ever really know, but you run up to him anyway, brave enough to tug at his sleeve. The guards surrounding him tense up at the contact, stepping away only when he raises a finger that spoke a thousand words.
“You-you’ll pay for everything?”
With his back turned to you, you failed to see that victorious grin he wore. “And everything more,” he reassured. He turns around to confirm your submission, but you’re quivering under his towering frame, poor hands clutched around the card so tightly he won’t be surprised if you break it. He chuckles, coaxing the worries out of you as he caresses your cheek, his breath evident of expensive liquor hitting your cheeks. “Relax, angel. It’s not like you’re selling your soul to the devil.”
Your pupils blow wide at the close proximity. If he was attractive before, it’s nothing compared to the clarity of his sharp, angular features that are softened by his playful smile. Oddly enough, his thumb caressing your cheeks is tender yet calloused.
There’s no telling when who put who under a spell, because you’re clutching helplessly at his suit jacket, whispering, “Am I not?”
You are, he wants to say, but you’re so innocent, so vulnerable – such an angel, he can’t help but hum in his head – that he doesn’t have the heart to let you know. He already knew things were bound to fall out of place one another, but until that hasn’t happened yet, he’ll have to keep you close. He’ll make you his.
“I’ll take good care of you,” he declares so confidently that you couldn’t even question his capability to do so you, and for a moment, just a moment, your knees weaken under his stare. “Now that, I can promise.”
Should you have pulled away then? When he leaned down to seal the contract with a kiss, should you have pulled away then? Or better yet, could you even pull away then?
You’ve been so alone your whole life that each moment with him is awakening, soul-crushing, mind-shattering and so damn weakening that you should’ve pulled away then. If anyone were to tell you you’d share your first kiss after work hours with a man whose name you don’t even know of, you’d tell them they were crazy, crazier if they claimed you would enjoy it.
But you did. Oh, you did, you were addicted to him – his taste, his scent, his touch, everything about him – that when he pulled away, taking away every last breath in your lung that formerly remained taint-free by him, you’re left wanting. Craving.
And he knows this. How could he not? Your eyes are hazy with lust, chest pressed against his firm ones that would soon be the same body you found home over and over again.  You’re not the only left intoxicated from this sudden agreement. Whatever you feel, he feels it twice as much after years of watching you from the sidelines, asking himself a million times over what it is about you that pulled him in so much in the first place.
The innocence? The dedication? The youthful naivety?
Gojo wants to laugh at himself. It was never any of those – he simply wanted to fool himself that maybe he’s worthy of this, of your love, of your purity. He’s selfish, manipulative, heartless, and he wants nothing more than someone like you to make him feel like he’s everything he’s not.
He steps forward to brush his nose against yours; breathing in the tiny gasps you reward him with. And he’s barely even touched you.
“I look forward to our next meeting,” he rasps, butterfly touches all the way down your back to hold you flush against him, letting you feel that he’s all muscle and hardness, while you’re the complete opposite, composed of softness and little ghosting kisses. Perhaps when he gives you by a name, he was right to call you –  “My Angel.”

The loud blaring of your alarm cuts through the silence of the room, its shrill sound piercing your ears. You groan, blindly patting the bedside table to swipe snooze. The spot next to you has been cold for a while now, but it’s normal for Satoru to leave early for work that you burrow yourself deeper in the covers. Five more minutes of sleep shouldn’t be so bad; it’s the weekend, anyway. You’ve got nothing else to do.
Waking up after that, on the other hand, now that is an impending task on itself.
You’re beyond sore, your inner thighs littered with handprints and your shoulder covered in love bites. “Jeez,” you mutter to yourself, stepping out of the bathroom. Tying your robe around you, you go out your shared bedroom, rubbing your eyes to get the sleep out.
It’s past noon already – Satoru really wore you out. And fuck, you could barely walk. You had to grip the counters just to sit on the stools, and even then, you’re wincing from the pain.
He should be doing paperwork in his office right now or something; he never really told you what to do. You don’t feel like asking either since he’s made it clear he prefers to keep his personal life, well…personal. But nevertheless, you swing your legs back and forth on the stool, texting him a quick I love you baby :)
Satoru doesn’t reply.
Usually, he’d respond in a few minutes, always supplied with a wink and an eggplant emoji. It was so him to act this way, that when those few minutes turned into a few hours and you’re met with radio silence, you can’t help but worry.
You try to brush it off, ignoring the deafening silence that rings all over his penthouse. He’s busy, he’s working, he’s got things to do – that’s all it is.
You convince yourself hard enough that you’ve cleaned the place until it’s sparkling, your reflection bouncing off the black marble floors. Every minute, though, your mind would race back to him. Not thinking about him proved to be a really daunting task because you think of him when you’re eating, reminiscing the way he’d always surprise you with a back hug, muttering morning angel all over your skin just to distract you from your meal. You think of him as you’re killing time with boring dramas; if he was here, he’d nudge your leg with his foot, pushing your shorts until it exposes your panties. He’d make sure you don’t get to focus at all, riling you up and kissing you hard that the show playing becomes nothing but background noise. You think of him, you dream of him, you remember him – and yet, you can’t feel him.
Nails bitten down to the skin, you scramble for your phone, swiping call over his contact. It doesn’t go through. Now that’s another odd thing; Satoru never fails to pick up your calls.
“He’s just busy,” you lie to yourself, telling the same thing over and over again even as night falls and you’re staring at the empty left side of the bed, hands smoothing over where the curve of his body would’ve been. “He’s just busy,” you say once more, giving into the exhaustion brought on by your worries. “He’ll come home soon. He always will.”
Except he didn’t.
And that was two weeks ago.
Tumblr media
“Angel, I got you—” Satoru immediately clamps his shut, his footsteps muted as he walks closer to you. You’ve been dating for a few months now, and you’re still very wary of the nature of your relationship so you refuse to move in with him. He doesn’t mind, he respects your space and decisions, but now he’s starting to regret letting you have your way. You’re hunched over your swiveling chair, cheek pressed against the opened textbook and glasses perched on your hair. The lamp desk illuminates the dark circles lining your eyes, his heart breaking at the sight.
Thanks to his help, you’ve been able to spend more time focusing on your studies. It should be comforting, but Satoru’s heart aches as he thinks of what you’ve been like prior to meeting him.
How long have you stayed up all night just to pass your exams? How long have you cried yourself to sleep, unable to handle the burden placed by the world on your shoulders at such a young age? How long have you had to turn down friends’ invites to parties with a forced smile because you had to go to work? How many times have you stared at a failing mark, teeth clenched because you studied well for it; your exhaustion just got the best of you and muddled your brain?
Satoru places the beer and dinner he’s got you on his way back home on top of your one-man dining table, pressing a kiss at the top of your head. You look so beautiful this way – unaware, unknowing, and focused in nothing but the future ahead of you that you don’t bother yourself with his past.
Perhaps…it was comforting, after all.
He’d rather have you worry over your own studies than worry about him. Satoru can’t stomach the idea of you – his precious angel – being involved in his own shit, possibly get caught between the crossfire. It pains him to say it, but he doesn’t want you getting too close for comfort.
So he stays there by your side, simply because it would expel all ideas of you wanting to be beside him. He’ll be right where you’re safe, and the sigh that leaves your lips when he moves you to your bed, fitting in his long, lanky bed on your cramped mattress an immense struggle. As if feeling that you’re finally home, you snuggle closer to his chest, murmuring sweet nothings that tug at his heartstrings.
Satoru rubs circles at your back, staring so hard at the chipped paint on your wall that he’s sure he’s got it burned in his memory.
Now that he thinks about it, he should’ve been satisfied with that. He should’ve held back in his desire to have more of you. He should’ve just tucked you in and left, but he was never really in control of himself. Before he knew it, he’s pulled in by you too much, encouraging him to move in with you under the lie it’s easier to keep an eye on you.
Had he just left you earlier…would things have been different then?
He’s asked himself this question too many times. Satoru always came to one conclusion. He loved you way too much that it consumed him, and soon the love he held for you slowly burned you inch by inch. The only way to save you was to pull away – but he wasn’t ready for that yet, not now – but he’s too scared, too deep in love that he ignores the warning signals and holds you close instead, finding comfort in the warmth of your arms.
Tumblr media
Fuck. Satoru downs his second drink, glaring at everyone beneath his shades. Geto snickers beside him, sending side eyes to his boss every now and then just to check. Of course, Satoru’s not actually going to pass out, he was no lightweight, but he’d been uneasy every since that pretentious gold envelope landed on his desk.
One of the downsides of being a mafia leader meant you had to mingle with other clan shit, including him of all people. There were always new leaders popping out of nowhere, Satoru quote unquoting, criminals be spawning like maniacs.
For fourteen years – fourteen fucking years – his clan had been in bad blood with the Zen’ins. They were pretty new in the illegal side of business, starting off as a powerful name in the trade industry before they got interested in oil. One thing led to another, the family began to realize they could have so much more if they turned a blind eye to a law or to, soon shifting into illegal weaponry trade, human trafficking, then drug manufacturing.
These bastards had the audacity to insult the Gojo Clan when Satoru’s family dropped by to strike a contract out of curiosity to their goods, only to be turned down because they’re barbaric’ and ‘informal.’
Satoru still remembers that humiliating moment of being escorted out by bodyguards, but he held his head high, vowing to show that bastard Zen’in guy that the Gojo’s were one of the powerhouses for a reason. He doesn’t even know where the elderly guy got his confidence from. Mafia business was not the same as their former expertise, yet they acted all high and mighty with their rules and standard of being sophisticated even in a life or death situation.
Gojo doesn’t know whether he should be happy or sad that the old man died, his son taking over just as soon as his father perished. He would’ve celebrated with a whiskey or two, except the new clan leader was quite adamant in cleaning up their name to prove he would not create the same mistake his father did.
The new leader threw a large cruise party, inviting pretty much everyone they were chummy with, and Satoru has never felt more out of place. He recognized a face or two, but he couldn’t really give a fuck. He hated events like this – it was all about establishing power and face.
Satoru groaned under his breath, swiping at another flute as a waiter passed by. He felt the bubbles fizzle down his throat, the slight burning sensation somewhat easing his nerves.
He leans back at the wall and checks his watch for what seemed like the hundredth time that night. It’s been two fucking hours since they arrived, and the host still hadn’t arrived. If they planned on being ‘fashionably late’ Satoru won’t hesitate to slice someone’s neck tonight. He hates his time being wasted the most, and his eyes slid over to his friend’s still posture, looking like he just saw a ghost.
“Suguru,” he sighs through his mouth, “Don’t be so tense. This is a formal event – no blood will be shed tonight.” Suguru had a weird skill of being able to read Satoru’s thoughts that he raised his hands in surrender, silently promising that he’s not going to kill anyone.
“You’re not sure of that.”
“I won’t lose my composure, if that’s what you’re worried about,” he rolls his eyes, not looking back as he effortlessly places the empty glass back to another waiter. Satoru stands next to his friend, sucking his teeth out of boredom. Suguru, on the other hand, is tenser than ever, his eyes locked onto something in the middle of the crowd that began to cheer.
Faintly, somewhere at the back of his mind, Satoru hears someone whistle in signal. A few seconds later, the fireworks are lit and decorate the night sky, bursts of gold and beauty accompanying the entrance of the woman who’s so effortlessly caught everyone’s eye tonight.
Satoru is rooted to his spot, taking off his glasses the same time the crowd parts. Then, his breath is knocked away from his body, his heart pumping so hard he actually struggled to breathe.
Because you’re there, smiling and waving at the crowd as if it’s second nature to you. Seven years of being apart from one another and Satoru is still bewitched each time he lays his eyes on you. You’re the same…from your face down to the angelic feeling you always carried, but at the same time, you’re different. Gone was his precious angel who shied away from too much attention, his precious angel who would’ve never worn such a bodacious ring embedded on her left ring finger. Your smile is more charismatic, confident, and even fierce compared to the small, private ones you always shared with him – he almost couldn’t recognize you.
As if feeling someone’s eyes on you, you spot him leaning languidly against the walls, those lips you used to kiss turned downwards.
Seven years ago, you would’ve kissed him until he smiles again, singing to your pouty and clingy boyfriend who never voiced out the reason of his troubles. Seven years ago, he would’ve carried you and swung you around, showering you with affection as he reminds you how lucky he is to have you.
But this was no longer the past – that much is clear from when he left you without another word.
Still, you smile at him, an empty one that showed nothing but concealed anger. He was sure though, so fucking sure, that for a split second, he saw you light up. That may have been seven years ago, but you loved each other to the point of insanity – surely you still held some sort of fondness of him.
Satoru takes long, self-assured stride towards you, his gaze never leaving yours with his hands tucked into his pockets. There’s no telling what he’ll do, but in his mind, it’s clear.
You still love him, he still loves you. He’ll do something about it. It doesn’t matter what, he just will. That was until a young man closer to your age with blond hair and pierced earrings, narrow feline eyes lined with eyeliner hobbles beside you, his weight supported by a cane that Satoru stops in his movements.
He’d recognize that face anywhere.
The youngest and perhaps most mischievous leader of them all, Naoya Zen’in. Albeit not as hard-headed as his father in comparison with his rather laid-back and welcoming nature, Satoru knows a monster when he sees it. It takes one to know one, after all, and despite the heir being crippled from a former accident, his intelligence and power was not to be overlooked through his appearance and coy smiles.
In fact, he might even be more dangerous than his old man, this theory only proven when his arms snake around your waist. The matching rings gleam from under the light, and you press yourself closer to him to whisper in his ear, your attention very much still on Satoru.
Satoru’s entire body burns.
“Still there, Sir?” Suguru asks, gripping his boss’ bicep to hold him back. Smart of him, Satoru exhales through his nose, unable to stop his glare from darting to your husband’s.
He’s heard of you, of him, of how his most annoying rival had a phenomenal trophy wife who looked harmless at first look, but was actually the brains of most of his operations. Satoru forgets how to breathe normally because he’s heard of you, and the rumors he’s gotten wind of about Naoya’s trophy wife are nothing less of how dedicated and perfect the two of you are.
Slapping Suguru’s arm away from him, Satoru grits his teeth. “Get me a drink.”
His precious angel was gone. No, this woman that stood before him…you were an entirely different entity, something darker, something along the lines that were more like him.
What exactly happened the day he left you?

OnS Theories (17S). Third Theory - Shikama’s punishment, and the reason behind the corpse (Long Theory)
Hello everyone, it’s been few days since I’ve updated, I’ve been a little busy along studies coming over but nevertheless, let’s keep going with these theories, I hope you guys are doing alright!
This theory is special, it isn’t centered on what it’s mostly known or rather, it is the doubt of veracity towards Shikama Doji’s statements.
Before starting, I must say that there’s this lingering feeling that Shikama is actually lying about having a son but rather, he’s seeking something entirely out of such thing, therefore, let’s talk about it.
P.S: Theories exclude ships and remain within a neutral view.
To begin with, something that has been causing quite the surprise is to see Shikama Doji stating his life was ruined or rather was affected due to others along the cost of his “son”.
Tumblr media

Back in chapter 94, Shikama stated he’d create a dark sun; due to how he was blamed and he lost his child due to certain incident that is left unknown for the meantime; but, within this, there’s something that doesn’t make sense, what do I mean?
It is well known that Kagami Takaya takes inspiration of religion in order to bring forward this story, furthermore, it cannot be denied that Shikama Doji or Sika Madu takes inspiration of the devil, the fallen angel Lucifer; the angel that was punished for trying to be superior to God; of course such statement might differ depending on the religion.
But then, how can I state that Shikama is inspired by such figure?
Back then, at the beginning it felt that most things were fantasy until they mentioned the name of an angel, said angel was Michael and it wasn’t mentioned once but twice; the first one being Ferid Bathory and the second being the Hyakuya Sect:
Tumblr media
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 85
This only lead to the fact that some names within the Bible or other religious texts might come in, but then again, how can I state Shikama is heavily based on Lucifer?
It is known that the name Lucifer has different meanings such as: “Morning star”, “Light Bringer”, “Bringer of Dawn”, etc. And one of the biggest details the manga has given as an insight of this is displayed within this panel:
Tumblr media
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 57
In chapter 57, Kureto Hiragi faced Tenri Hiragi until he achieved victory, but, before Tenri died, he told Kureto that “a cursed god” would appear to him; after such thing was stated, Tenri died, Kureto said: “father?” to check if he was alive or not, but something rather fascinating is the fact that there was a light before the appearance of such cursed god; something similar to what the real name stands “morning star”.
Tumblr media

Within Tenri’s corpse, his shadow slowly allowed to make Shikama appear after being using Tenri as his host until he could wait and eventually lead to the events of Shinoa’s possession.
But then, does this mean this is the only proof?
Actually, the second proof within this is according some passages which were focused on how Lucifer, before falling from heaven, he was able to walk down through rivers of fire, anywhere to impart wisdom to humanity; but among this, it is well known that Lucifer was one of God’s most beautiful creation and that’s something Shikama does share with said inspiration:
Tumblr media

Within the LNs, after Shinoa got Shikama Doji back, she was finally able to remember who he was along the fact she stated he/she was beautiful; furthermore:
Tumblr media

Shikama Doji stated that God’s personality was more twisted than him, implying he does have knowledge of God.
To even expand this, back in the World Resurrection LNs, specially in Vol. 2; Guren had a conversation with Rigr Stafford; Rigr stated that the First Progenitor was a being that played the role of a God; he decided which empires would come and fall along religions, ideas, etc.
Ironically, within this, it is often heard that the devil or formerly Lucifer, became prideful and arrogant which pretty much matches Shikama’s personality.
It could be said that Shikama Doji is heavily based on Lucifer or rather, there’s a chance that might be his real name at the very end.
Now, focusing again to the main point of the theory, Shikama mentions he broke a taboo:
Tumblr media
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 81
But what exactly was his taboo? Was it that he had a child or he betrayed God’s will?
While it is mostly seen in the manga that he mentions and is wishful to have Mikaela’s soul; there’s a huge issue that dismisses Shikama’s real intentions, what do I mean?
If many might recall, at the beginning of the LNs of Vampire Mikaela, the story dwells or rather states that it’s about revenge, revenge towards God. And so far, the one carrying such revenge is Shikama instead of Mikaela; therefore, what does this have to do with Shikama’s real intentions?
For this, let’s recall some events from the current story:
Back then, Shikama started to perform experiments until he found Ashera Tepes; him being the first human that became a vampire after drinking Yu’s blood in the Dark Ages of Greece, it seemed that he was seeking something within kids and of course, such thing was stated by Noya:
Tumblr media
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 85
Indeed, Shikama seeked to find a kidt that could become Mikaela but all the vampires failed; but why?
It is well known that most of the vampires were sired by Shikama with the sole exception of Ashera; it is unknown if the other demons also drank Yu’s blood or the First’s; but within this, there’s something revealing, what could it be?
Correct. Within this, Shikama was seeking to find beings that held down certain traits until he stopped and seeked to reach the Land of the Rising Sun; but only one of the Vampire Progenitors kept with this and that was Rigr Stafford.
Rigr Stafford found two subjects that held down the Michaela trait, those being Ferid Bathory and Mikaela Shindo; but among this, Ferid found another one on his own, which was Crowley Eusford.
But, between those three, only one held two traits which was Mika, he kept the Seraph trait and the Michaela trait from the very moment he was born and Rigr only made sure he was the perfect result of what he seeked.
But then, now that the past was brought, why does Shikama need Mika’s soul if he’s his supposed son?
The reason is that he is lying. Shikama doesn’t want to recover his son, but rather, he wants to recover his real power, what he was once long ago, but, is there a proof to this?
There is actually proof towards this; and the proof relies within Ashera, Krul and Rigr.
Therefore, let’s proceed:
1. Krul Tepes
Despite that she hasn’t talked that much in relation of the First, she has never seen the First Progenitor as a father, but as a monster or someone who took her happiness away:
Tumblr media
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 49
At that time, Krul Tepes was begging the First to not take her brother away, to not take Ashera and make him a demon, but, within this, there was something interesting; what could it be?
Correct. The fear Ashera once felt or rather, the fearful presence the First gave towards them was so different, it was as if Ashera didn’t recall how the First was truly:
Tumblr media
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 49
Ashera didn’t doubt the First nor had fear towards him, it was as if he knew everything he’d do would lead to a better future which has been quite the opposite.
Along this, after the First possessed Shinoa and after the events of his sealing along Mika’s death as a vampire; Krul didn’t want to go where the First was but Ashera told her it would be fine; but among this, it wouldn’t take long until he appeared again and one of the things that has been displayed by her is this:
Tumblr media
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 98
Krul displayed despair and fear of what it was about to come, same thing could be seen in the latest chapter:
Tumblr media
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 99
It means she’s very aware of the nature of the First Progenitor, not the fact that she met him back when he was just slowly taking steps of his own goals but rather, she’s aware about his real nature and power to the point he’d endanger the whole world to its collapse.
2. Ashera Tepes
While it’s true that Ashera was fearful of him but grateful due to him giving him the freedom to save his sister, after he became a demon, he lost his memories about everything, and when the battle between him and the First came and Yu headed off to his rescue, there was rather something interesting that he mentioned:
Tumblr media
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 74
Ashera states he has the power to mesmerize others along the level of danger he gives; this only gives an idea of what Shikama has always been, a real monster, but then, chapter 98 and 99 come into scene since it’s pretty much how the Black Demons gather and follow up the First’s original plan, but why?
This is due to the fact that the First might have brainwash them or rather mesmerize them to the point they’re obeying him without doubting his words; they’re still believing the stories about a greater future along his child
3. Rigr Stafford
As for Rigr, there really isn’t much to say since he’s pretty much opposed to the ideals of the FIrst; he’s even aware about something:
Tumblr media
Image taken from Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign - Chapter 84
The First Progenitor never awoke completely, as time passed when he was possessing Shinoa, his awakening became louder to the point all the Progenitors of the World felt his presence, but for Rigr, that was the ideal spot on which he could restrain him, keep him at bay and capture him for whoever knows what purposes.
Therefore, what could it be said about Shikama’s intentions?
His intentions aren’t focused on merely making the world better towards what he views “better” but rather, everything he’s doing, the fact he developed artifitial life, the fact he created artifitial seraphs or rather he was capable of developing the technique for that only implies a rebellion; a massive rebellion but for that, he needs more strength than what he currently has; but if that were the case, then what’d happen with the corpse, what is the corpse to him?
There’s a possibility said corpse wasn’t actually his son but rather his former body; but how can I state such thing when his powers are towards what his former body looked like?
Shikama Doji is well known for being a liar, he might promise everything, but it must be within his interests that the other party must accept, which is a deal; Shikama Doji once stated that thanks to the sins of x beings, they converted him into an inmortal that would wander around forever, this alone reflects that his current appearance might have not been the same, but rather, the one that was the corpse
And this lead us to the biggest question, what was his punishment besides wandering forever on Earth?
Correct. What he was or rather, the almighty power he once had was sparced, removed or taken from him. He lost all what he once had except his wings; all the divinity he once had was removed from him entirely which ended up giving him a body that would suffer the strains of the sun.
The fact he started seeking boys with traits was just the beginning but the real purpose for this wasn’t something vague or simple, but rather, he aimed to finally recover what he lost via them, he aimed to find a human that could harbor both traits in a natural way which is why this leads us to the present, this would explain why he’d need Mika’s soul since his body or rather his physical is long gone but his soul, his soul keeps all the information he once had, all what he was once...only to fill in the void he once lost.
NOTE: I must say this is a theory mostly based on doubts that linger within my head, of course, I hope you get to enjoy the theory, by this it doesn’t mean it’ll happen but it’s a possibility nevertheless.
What do you think?
Let me know!

Hello Everyone!
A day like today 20 years ago the first novel of our beloved series was published in November 2000. This is an incredible anniversary and that’s why we’ll celebrate the whole month with events!
I hope you can join this special occasion and contribute a little bit by sharing your posts and art here in tumblr.
This is not the first event run by this blog, if you want to see what we did in previous years you can visit my tags MA Event,  MA Event 2017 and MA Event 2018.
The dynamic of the events is to have some deliver themes and inspiration divided in different sections. This event will run weekly, except for the last week of the month when we’ll have daily content shared to inspire you even more.
Please save the date around the last weekend of November for our Live Chat! I’ll post more information about the exact date and time along the next weekly posts.

hi, ariana! if the losers were a superhero group what would their powers be and how would they have gotten together? would they be popular as heroes or would they be considered vigilantes/menaces?
Hi!!! I had a lot of fun with this, thank you for sending it in Jack! 🤗
Powers - I honestly kinda struggled here and couldn't choose just one for some (also warning, some are about to be very unoriginal :')
Bill - Super strength (imo it's very useful but also... kinda basic??? it just feels right 😂) + force field generation
Ben - Invisibility
Bev - Pyrokinesis + telepathy
Eddie - Super speed
Mike - Memory manipulation + Panmnesia
Stan - Zoolingualism (?? basically just the ability to communicate with animals bec!! imagine him with an army of loyal crows! he would always have a friend, this reddit thread is literally Stan living his best life :')
on top of that, just mind reading in general. He'd probably have a never again rule set in place after making the mistake of reading Richie's once. the material for that is endless 👌
ALSO, I'm being greedy but I'd love for him to have serenity inducement (here's to hoping that I'm getting all these powers/words right 😂)
Richie - Telekinesis + Teleportation (he would have so much fun with it)
Popular as heros or as vigilantes / menaces?
I think out of all of them Bill would definitely be a popular hero. I can see him actively and constantly seeking out situations where he can help people.
While for the other losers, I can see them just trying to lead normal lives. I don't think they would be all that interested in being put on a pedestal or in a spotlight (of any kind). And it's not to say that they wouldn't use their powers to help someone out if need be, just that they wouldn't go out of their way with a purpose of finding something/someone to save.
But also!!! because of Bill, they would find themselves often tagging along to make sure his dumbass doesn't die 😂 like one week it could be bill, richie & bev, and another just bill & eddie or ben etc depending on whatever he's trying to accomplish
Apart from that I think they all could easily end up being seen as vigilantes/menaces at some point. They would 100% set out to change/fix a system that they see actively harming people instead of helping, and because of that it would be a toss up on who sees them as a hero or vigilante/menace.
How they came together:
This is where I both blanked and somehow ended up over complicating it 😭
my brain refused to imagine them ever being separate and unaware of each other, so I was going to stick with them being school/childhood friends
but then I thought of a sky high situation where powers (if any at all) come in randomly throughout teenage years
So for this version powers would come in from age 17-20. The losers would be completely unaware of each other & Georgie still would've died as a kid, but instead by getting hit by a car while out playing. Bill would have a constant need to try and save people and it would later on be a double edged sword because:
I thought it would be fun to bring Pennywise into this. The losers would each have a neibolt version of themselves that would come out once their powers came in. They'd mirror their abilities, but would only be as strong as the individual loser based on however much they'd use/practice their power.
(I would probably have to change Stan's power to shape shifting for this to justify the random spider head running around town 😂)
Every single loser would end up being viewed (/framed) as a vigilante/menace of varying extents at some point. And because of Bill's power usage, Neibolt Bill would end up on top- both with being the strongest and fucking up the most shit around town 😭
The neibolt crimes would start out extremely small, like barely even punishable or noticeable aside from those around to actually witness it due to the losers themselves newly having powers.
But as it would add up the losers would begin to receive more and more dirty looks from peers & strangers and rumors would eventually follow. The losers would get so used to being accused of shit at a certain point that it would just roll off their backs. They'd probably chalk it up to bullies targeting them.
For Richie maybe it would even result in a cop visit to his house- but with nothing more coming of it due to having a solid alibi.
It would be annoying but bearable up until the moment that the rumors got swapped out for video evidence as the crimes became more and more frequent + serious.
I feel like Ben, Mike, and Stan wouldn't surpass the rumor phase while Bill, Richie, Bev and Eddie's neibolt half would definitely land themselves on tape due to their excessive power usage in comparison.
I love Eddie, he's my favorite character but the idea of him being the first of them to end up on tape is sending me. And it wouldn't even necessarily be over anything crime related, but something extremely embarrassing. Like imagine his neibolt self being found casually lounging in a dumpster on trash day and making the news over it. Just a story along the lines of "halted trash collections earlier this morning due to grimy teenager (Derry news would be that shitty imo 😂) found asleep in a dumpster. We're told that workers had to forcibly remove him after twenty minutes of refusal to leave"
And with his powers, Neibolt Eddie would've zipped away as soon as he was set on the ground before anyone could've even done anything with him or offered to take him somewhere.
...I am once again making a disclaimer that I love Eddie dearly, because what if the night before that he had done a little act of rebellion against Sonia & dyed his hair blonde, which in turn just ended up making him look even more guilty 😭
Okay, now for how they actually end up meeting:
For everything to work Bill would probably have to be one of the last to get powers (otherwise he'd end up on the news within months due to his usage & it wouldn't work for how I want it to play out)
Bev and Richie would definitely be one of the first two to get their powers & meet. Richie would randomly teleport into the convenience store she was working at, all out of breath and crouching behind some shelves. Initially she'd be spooked by his random pop in but would take pity, whether it was out of boredom or curiosity, and offer him a hiding space behind the counter (which he'd immediately accept & hop over for some reason despite probably being able to teleport behind it). After some small talk and Richie telling her that he was being chased by Bowers over some shit he didn't do, they'd come to find the common ground of being the brunt end of recent Derry high rumors and from there they'd stick together.
They would later track down the others (minus bill & eddie) by following frequent rumors with the goal of seeing if the same shit was happening to them as well.
6/7 losers would only realize that everything probably wasn't exactly a rumor once the crimes start getting recorded/aired. They would have Eddie's experience on the news to support the "devil duplicate" theory they'd come to after seeing Bill Denbrough, Derry's beloved hero and now apparent villain make the news. From there they'd set out to track down Bill to find out wtf is happening.
_
my brain is absolutely f r i e d, but I'm jumping back to go over how they found Eddie as a treat for myself  :')
there are 2 versions, not all that different from each other, but one just really highlights Eddie's (knowingly or not) continuous pining over Richie. It 100% follows his neibolt dumpster news report & unfortunate hair-dying-timing.
Scenario #1 is Richie and Bev walking into the theater to see a (much cleaner!) blonde Eddie. Beverly would manage to keep Richie from immediately running up into his row, but would find her efforts useless five minutes into the previews when he teleports himself into a seat next to Eddie, nearly scaring him half to death. He'd playfully lean on the arm rest with a dopey smile like
"I personally favor the dumpsters up in Bangor but hey, I'm all for going local if you'd like to show me around sometime."
(??idk.idk.idk 😂 originally his opener was just "hey, weren't you on the news recently?" but eh). So anyways, Eddie would be a mess, nearly popping a blood vessel but would later find himself near tears of laughter due to Richie's commentary throughout the movie. Bonus if he tried holding in his laughter out of spite to the point that he broke with a full on snort and turned to see Richie staring straight ahead at the screen, red cheeked & beaming, already preparing his next joke.
Scenario #2 is that Richie works at the Aladdin for the concession stand and recognizes Eddie as he steps up to pay. Opening with "I dig the new look" (referring to his hair that's now growing brown at the roots) and Eddie's confused because he's 98% sure that he's never seen this person before but it clicks immediately as Eddie watches the shit eating grin grow on Richie's face. Eddie, wanting nothing more than to run away again, simply stays put and mumbles out that it wasn't him
And the last response he ever expects to hear is an "okay", sounding just genuine enough for him to look up and see a much softer smile.
It would catch him off guard, having someone finally believe him, or at least not openly fight him on it (even if he's sure that Richie is just humoring him) that he'd often find himself showing up to the theater thirty minutes before his movie, just hovering over the stands by Richie. Clinging to the excuse that it was just someone to talk to while he waited away from the harsh summer weather and the grips of his mother.
Panic wouldn't set in until the day that Richie asks him what movie he's waiting for and completely blanks, not having the slightest clue until peeking down at his ticket.

Tower of Tomorrow - Chapter 1
Tumblr media
Rating: Teen
Fandom: MCU
Characters: Bucky Barnes, Clint Barton, Natasha Romanoff, Sam Wilson, Tony Stark, Alpine, Lucky, Other Avengers & related characters
Summary: One year after TWS, Sam and Steve finally track Bucky down and bring him back to Avengers Tower.
Of course, there's still lots of HYDRA bases to be taken down, and Bucky finds himself actually enjoying the Avengers' company, and making friends.
They’d spent a year hunting Bucky down, with almost nothing to go on. They still didn’t have any proof that it was Bucky who was ruthlessly destroying HYDRA bases, leaving only a box of files or a USB drive of intel behind. But no one else would know the locations of the bases, and after what he’d seen, Sam was more than convinced that Bucky was capable of taking down a whole base on his own.
He’d read the files. Read about how it took them twenty years of torture to get Bucky to become the Winter Soldier, and how he’d still fought back. He’d read about the wipes, the missions (all 182 of them), the punishments for failing missions or disobeying, the training, the experimentation, and the arm.  It struck him as a bit odd, that Bucky was happy for them to read that in the files he left, but then he had spent seventy years being treated like a machine. It made Sam sick.
Sam didn’t think they’d ever find him. Bucky was far too skilled to be caught by accident, and he hadn’t shown any sign of wanting to be found. So they kept traipsing after him, following the trail of destroyed bases.
He was surprised, then, when they found Bucky at a base just outside Bucharest. Bucky looked the same as he had a year ago, right down to the Winter Soldier outfit and mask, but instead of trying to shoot them, he sat on a chair near the partially collapsed entrance to the base, watching them approach.
They stopped about ten paces away.
“Bucky?” Steve asked, tentatively.
Bucky stood up, took a step forwards, and dropped to his knees, placing his hands on his head. “It’s okay,” he said, “I won’t fight back.”
“What?”
“I won’t fight back when you take me in. Or shoot me, or whatever.”
“We’re not going to shoot you!” Steve protested, “And we’re not here to ‘take you in’. We’re here to help you, to take you home, if you’d like.”
Bucky nodded, “Okay,” and rose smoothly to his feet, pulling a black roll-up duffel bag from a pocket, and began piling his weapons inside, which Sam just noticed had been sitting in a heap behind the chair. “Let’s go.” He passed the bag to Sam.
Steve led the way back to the quinjet, and Bucky followed silently behind. He stayed silent for the whole ride back to Avengers Tower, sitting right at the back and glaring at them. Steve kept glancing back at him from where he was piloting, but seemed to think better of talking to him.
“What now?” Sam asked.
“Help him get better. Get his memory back. Get him some therapy,” Steve said.
“And you think Fury’ll just let us? The governments will just let us? He’s wanted in 140 countries.”
“I know. I’ll fight them all if I have to. They have to see he’s innocent.”
“They will,” Sam said, trying to convince himself. “I’m sure Tony’s lawyers will sort it out.”
“If Tony agrees to help.”
“You can’t blame him for not liking the guy who killed his parents. We’re just lucky he’s been taking it out on HYDRA.”
“I guess.”
Steve radioed into the tower, warning of their arrival, then settled back in his chair to watch Bucky.
Four hours later, they landed in the hangar of Avengers Tower. They were greeted by at least fifty agents Fury and Hill had scraped together, to work for Not-SHIELD. As Bucky stepped off the quinjet, they formed a circle, pointing their guns at his chest.
“Hands up!” one of them yelled. Then he turned to Sam and Steve, “Get behind me. We’ll handle this.”
Bucky raised his hands, and a pair of agents rushed forwards, shoving him to his knee, grabbing his arms and cuffing them behind his back, then hobbling his feet.
“Let him go!” Steve yelled, trying to push them away.
“It’s necessary, Captain,” Fury said, stepping into the hangar. “He needs a psych evaluation, to make sure he’s not still with HYDRA. He’s dangerous. And he will stay with us until we are sure that it’s safe.”
“It’s fine, Steve,” Bucky said, “I’m sure they’ll be better than HYDRA.”
Sam stifled a laugh. Steve looked like he wanted to drag Bucky back onto the jet and fly away, but instead he gave a short nod, and the agents marched Bucky away.
“He’ll be fine,” Sam said. Neither he nor Steve quite believed it.
Avengers Tower had 98 storeys, plus a ground floor and rooftop. Right near the top each of them (Thor, Sam, Steve, Clint, Natasha, Bruce, Tony and Rhodey), each had their own floor, and there were several empty ones below – “For when we recruit more people,” Tony had said – and then there were several levels of lounge rooms and common kitchens and gyms and a range, and several floors dedicated to what Tony had christened ‘Not-SHIELD’, since Fury and Hill hadn’t decided on a new name yet. Then there was a massive pool, with a diving board, and then Tony had several floors of labs and workshops and who knows what else. And then right at the bottom, there were 20 storeys dedicated to Stark Industries, 2 storeys dedicated to the Avengers and their press image (or something like that, none of them ever had anything to do with it), and a hospital level.
Sam and Steve went straight to the kitchen, where they knew everyone would be, except for Thor, who only seemed to come for movie nights, and spent the rest of his time on Asgard. And they were right – Clint was drinking straight from the coffee pot while Natasha was looking on in horror, Bruce was curled up on the lounge, reading a book, his breakfast sitting forgotten beside him, and Rhodey was trying to persuade Tony that coffee didn’t count as a meal.
Natasha looked up the moment the lift doors dinged open. “Did you find him?” Her eyes flickered over the lift behind them.
Steve nodded. “Yeah. He was waiting for us outside a base. Seemed to want to come back. Only Fury’s got hold of him now, wants to run some psych tests.”
“That’ll be fun for him,” Clint snorted, “He had me for two weeks after New York was over.”
“Two weeks!” Steve exclaimed. “He can’t have Bucky that long.”
“Better keep him too long than let him out early and have him murder us when we look away.” Natasha pointed out.
“I’m going to go and see him,” Steve decided.
Sam looked longingly at the fried bacon and eggs sitting on the countertop. When was the last time he’d eaten? “I’ll come too.”
They headed back into the lift. “Hey JARVIS, can you take us to wherever Bucky is, please.”
“Of course, sir. Sergeant Barnes is on level 74, however Director Fury has asked me to make sure you check in with him before visiting.”
“Okay, thanks, JARVIS.”
They exited the lift and after a short conversation with Fury that was basically just Steve threatening him if he took longer than a day to clear Bucky, and Fury saying that it would take at least a month to do the full tests, but adding that they could do enough today so that Bucky could at least come out of the cell if he stayed in the tower, and then giving them strict guidelines for interaction.
When they entered the cell, Bucky was sitting docile on a metal bench, no longer in his Winter Soldier get-up, but in a thin black cotton shirt and matching tracksuit pants. He glanced up as they entered and locked the door behind them, shifting slightly. Sam noticed that the restraints hadn’t been removed.
“Are you okay? Did they hurt you?” Steve asked, rushing over. He stopped short when Bucky flinched away.
“No. I’m fine.” Bucky stared at the floor, unable to meet their eyes.
“Do you need anything?”
“No. I’m fine, really.”
Steve hesitated, then, “D-do you remember me?”
“Yes. You’re Steve Rogers.”
“Is that all?”
Bucky finally looked up. “No. I remember before the war. And I remember during the war…with the Howling Commandos.”
“You remember the Commandos?”
Bucky nodded. “I remember Azzano. And after. With HYDRA.”
“No one blames you, Buck.”
“’Cept for me.”
“They can’t hold you responsible. Tony Stark’s got his best lawyers on it.”
“The man whose parents I murdered. I wouldn’t blame him if he killed me himself, instead of waiting for the government to do it.”
“No one’s gonna kill you, Buck. I won’t let them.”
“And Stark doesn’t blame you,” Sam added, “He may not have been brainwashed into killing people for seventy years, but he knows what it’s like to have to do things under duress.”
Bucky didn’t look convinced, but he didn’t keep arguing. Instead, he turned to Sam. “Sorry about your car. And pulling you out of the sky and kicking you off the helicarrier. And, Steve, sorry for almost killing you.”
Sam raised an eyebrow. “I expect a replacement for the car.”
Bucky’s mouth quirked to one side. “I’ll go pinch you one just as soon as they let me out of here.”
Speak of the devil, the door opened, and Fury stepped in. “Time for the scans.”
Bucky stood up immediately, and followed him out, moving easily despite the restraints.
“That went surprisingly well,” Sam said.
“How much do you think he remembers?” Steve asked.
“Enough to not murder us. And remember, even if he didn’t remember a single thing, he’d still deserve a second chance after all he’s been through.”
“He was still wearing what he wore as the Winter Soldier. What if never stops being…that?”
“Bucky spent seventy years as the Winter Soldier,” Sam reminded him. “And even if it wasn’t his choice, it was still him. He’s probably going to keep a lot of his behaviour, mannerisms, muscle memory. It’s part of him now.”
Steve sighed. “I hate it.”
“Me too. But it is what it is, and we need to help him cope with it. Now come on. Let’s stop hanging out in his cell, and go have a massive breakfast. And then I’m going to sleep all day.”
Steve laughed. “That’s one way to make the day go quickly.”
