This is so funny to see you go from a post saying "he didn't get to pick his apartment, let him do something for himself" to a post saying "let's give him a baby he wasn't expecting" 😂😂

The thing I need you to know is I have 5 (I think I'm at 5 right now) main speculations for the season going around in my head at all times, they all lead to different minor speculations, and they all contradict each other kapakapkapakapa. And to be honest I don't want Buck to get the baby. I hate the idea of him getting that baby. BUT looking at the baby for storytelling possibilities, that baby can absolutely be a roundabout way to give Buck a child who's biologically his without giving him a partner, and it is something that the show has ready to go and could happen at any time. I don't think it will happen, at least not in season 7, because Hen is already getting a baby and dealing with babies and filming is complicated and it could be repetitive to have that happen to Hen and Buck at the same time, and also because I think it would make more sense to give Buck a toddler not a newborn, so that would be something for the show to pick back up in season 9 or whatever. And I want Buck to do something for himself more than I want him to get a baby lol. But if I'm thinking about the show and picking up loose ends, Buck could absolutely accidentally acquire a baby from now on at any time, killing Connor and Kameron is always gonna be a possibility, so that's a speculation that randomly goes through my head lol. Like, sometimes I go too deep thinking about something that would lead Buck to change in some way or just create a random conflict and I'm completely ignoring the donor plot and then my brain goes "Buck has a child out in the world" and I need to bring it into the conversation with my kitchen utensils.

ive watched 3 seasons of 911 in a week. and yeah i also watched the last two s7 eps that came out. yes ive seen spoilers for like the whole show and im still having fun. and hey, the next ep doesnt come out till may so i have time to catch up! (i dont think itll take me three weeks to watch three more seasons)

doing two in one bc it's technically wednesday already idc lol - started a new wip I mentioned before (inspired by this video lol) and rn I'm rewriting what I wrote yesterday bc the past two days words were not wording and I hated everything I wrote, but I think I'm happy with it now haha I hope I'll manage to write it like I want to bc it's sooo good in my head istg haha

It started as a random idea, more like a throwaway thought, really. Tommy was just checking the weather for the next few days – his hot pilot boyfriend always likes to be prepared – while they were hanging out, and he casually mentioned that “it’s gonna be nice on Saturday, perfect barbecue weather,” which got Buck to mention how they often have family barbecues at Bobby and Athena’s. Somehow, the conversation spiraled, and Buck’s not sure who threw out a more concrete idea, but here they are now, standing side by side in Tommy’s kitchen, preparing food – Buck’s currently slicing veggies for a salad, while Tommy takes care of the meat – for the barbecue where they invited way too many people than Tommy’s backyard can probably fit. It really is nice weather, the sliding door leading from the kitchen to the backyard open and letting in warm sunshine and a soft breeze that makes the air feel cooler. They work in pleasant silence, the only sound is quiet music playing from the speaker, and Buck can’t help a fond smile when he hears his boyfriend hum along, so off-key Buck’s not sure he even knows the song, but it’s still adorable.

The silence is disrupted by the doorbell ringing, and before Tommy can even move, Buck is dropping the knife on the cutting board, wiping his hands, and sprinting towards the door, shouting an “I got it!” over his shoulder. He’s followed by an echo of Tommy’s fondly amused chuckles. So he’s a little excited, sue him – they haven’t had a family day like this in a while, and there was only one he brought Tommy to, all of their schedules not so easy to align. And today his whole family will be here, including their spouses and children, and Tommy invited a couple of his friends and their families, too, and it’ll be just a big, loud, chaotic get-together that he’s hosting with his boyfriend. Buck never hosted one of these before, and he’s really enjoying it so far, and he just wants everyone to have fun.

“Can I confess something to you?” Shannon asks. They’re in the back of his truck. After Shannon’s meeting with Christopher’s school, what turned out to be one kiss ended up being two. Then three. Then before they knew it, they were headed towards Eddie’s truck trying to find a deserted road just like when they were horny teenagers back in high school. Now, they both have Eddie’s old blanket his abuela made for them wrapped around them. Clothes haphazardly put back on as they’re basking in the afterglow.

“Am I going to like this confession?”

“Maybe. I’m not sure. Still want to hear it?”

Eddie looks down at Shannon. Her eyes have a mischievous glint to them he’s missed seeing so much. Smirking back at her, he pretends to sigh in exasperation as he gives her the go ahead.

“I’ve listened to your audiobooks.” The confession makes Eddie tense up in surprise. He doesn’t know why it surprises him that Shannon has listened to his work. He does use his real name instead of a pseudonym after all. If Shannon wanted to look him up, his audiobook narration would be the first thing that would pop up. Maybe that is why he chose to use his real name. To make her curious about him. “Not all of them, of course. There’s too many. But a good chunk of them. I always did tell you how good you were at it.”

When they first got together back in high school, Shannon stole one of her mom’s romance books and made Eddie read one of them to her. At first Eddie couldn’t take it seriously, exaggerating the prose to his own amusement. It took Shannon’s repeated insistence for him to stop fucking off and try again. Eddie – being the immature teenager he was – still made fun of the novel until he read aloud a sex scene involving the male lead rubbing his lover’s clit. When Eddie asked Shannon what – and where – that was, Shannon became all too happy to show him. 

After that, Eddie didn’t mind reading those romance novels aloud for Shannon. 

“Please tell me you didn’t listen to the omegverse mafia one I had to do?” Eddie asks her. 

That book was one of his earlier recordings. A book that blew up on Booktok and then somehow later blew up even more by becoming a movie on Netflix. Eddie doesn’t have any grudges against either tropes, per say. However he does have grudges against bad writing. Which this book had in abundance.

Shannon’s voice drops an octave in a complete replica of Eddie’s. “‘Baby, you’re gonna take my fucking knot. Prove to the entire mafia that you’re mine.’” Shannon snorts as Eddie groans. “It was my favorite! They should’ve casted you in the movie.”

“I hate you.”

another one on my previous account called sour times. i just got some comments on it that i hated and i lost interest in it. i still had fun writing it but yeah it just does not feel like i want to finish it at all and i've honestly been debating deleting it but then i don't bc what if some readers like it enough to reread? so i just leave it like that.

i'm not too sure. i think maybe dialogue??? not sure though, i try not to think too hard about that.

its hard for me to figure out pacing. and smut is so hard for me it always takes me ages to write one smut scene compared to other stuff.

Schitt’s Creek

I’d Swing With You for the Fences by @nontoxic-writes - this is the first AU I read, and the one that made me truly fall in love with AUs and SC fic. It is iconic and rightly features on so many people’s rec lists. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve read this wonderful baseball AU! It’s fun, it’s used social media posts very cleverly, and ther version of David and Patrick that we get here is chef’s kiss. I’m pretty sure I read this, read everything else nontoxic had posted for SC and then went back and read every other baseball and hockey au that exists in the fandom!

Red, White & Royal Blue

the poem you make of me by cmere - again, this is one of the first fics I remember reading for the fandom. Poet!Henry and model!Alex in a beautifully written enemies to friends to lovers slow burn filled with pining, sexy poetry and lots of love.

911 Lone Star

I’m gonna stick with the theme of the first AU I can remember reading for the fandom and that is to live for the hope of it all by @strandnreyes - I remember being in awe of the world that Jen created in this one. It’s so vivid and I’ve come to realise that’s something that she just consistently does so well in her writing. This fic though, it’s angsty in a delicious way and full of tension between TK and Carlos with excellent pay off.

3 Ships I Love:

Ian x Mickey - As gay ghetto white trash, it will always come back to these two for me. Add in Ian being bipolar (same girl!) and the fact that Mickey Milkovich has one of the greatest character arcs I've ever seen (which is wild cause the writers never cared about Mickey, which is probably why his arc was so good)? Yeah. It'll always be them.

Matt x Elektra - "It is true that somewhere a woman named Elektra is still alive and a man named Matthew Murdock is happy." - What If? Elektra Had Lived (Vol. 1, No. 35). I love every single version of this ship and every single version of this ship will never not break my heart.

Team x Win - I watched Until We Meet Again three days after my last time making a Real Bad Decision, so I was doing really bad and couldn't even leave my bedroom (the scene of the crime), but then these two came out of fucking nowhere with their 30 minutes of screentime and I fell completely in love. They were a short and sweet break from the heaviness of my mind and from the heaviness of the show. They still have my whole heart.

First Ship Ever:

Most likely Eric/Jack from Boy Meets World. You couldn't and still can't tell me shit about them. But if they don't count since I didn't know about the concept of shipping back then, it would probably be Pacey/Joey from Dawson's Creek.

As a wee one, it was probably a Magic Tree House book. But the first book I remember loving was The Long Walk by Stephen King (well, Richard Bachman). I read it for the first time at like 15 and it just broke my heart. It's still my favorite to this day. And 15 is still a child, so I think it counts!

Currently Reading:

Assorted fics. I don't really read books unless I can read it all in one sitting, so that's hard sometimes cause I don't always have five hours to sit uninterrupted. And then sometimes when I do, I just don't wanna read.

Currently Watching:

23.5, Unknown, and 911. And I just found out today Two Worlds already started so I'm gonna start that soon too.

Submerging myself into the ocean, but I just pierced my right industrial on Monday at like 1:30AM, so no fully submerging myself in water, even salt water, for a while. :( :( :(

I lost track of how many iterations of the let's drown buck in season 7 I have written out here, and I only just started considering the cruise as a location, but I have another idea to still get the elements of the shooting to have that have the same effect for Eddie as the shooting has for Buck but you can read the Buck drowning saving a random person in the cruise here, (please keep in mind that the cruise thing was not confirmed when I wrote this one so in that one I'm speculation the cruise too, I also touch base on the possibility of it happening with them saving Bobby, but I don't elaborate on that one) and Buck drowning saving Bobby here (I feel like this vision could easily be about saving Athena too, but for the sake of drama I like the idea of it being Bobby) but i think at the core they are very similar, it's just about the circumstances around it.

Okay, so, for the past few months, I have been discussing the possibility of the show drowning Buck, but it is something that I've been thinking about for a WHILE (buck drowning tag here). Because most of Buck's traumas involve water or trouble breathing, from the emergency tracheotomy on the date with Abby, to the blood clot in his lung, to the tsunami, to the way he gives his mask to the dude who's trapped and says he will hold his breath and that whole dramatic shot of him screaming with the sprinklers turning on in Buck begins, to getting struck by lightning and getting lung damage from it. Also, the first time we see him he's doing cpr on a kid who drowned, the next call is about a baby who has a blocked airway, the next one is about a woman who was being strangled and he also saves Athena from the robber by hosing him down, so pilot Buck is about breathing and water. There's also the way that water keeps trying to kill people he cares about, Bobby in the plane, Chris in the tsunami, Eddie in the well, Maddie walking into the ocean. So Buck's arcs involve water and breathing. The natural progression here is to have him drown.

Also, I've been discussing the possibility of drowning Buck while creating a moment that would work for Eddie the same way the shooting exists for Buck. That one has various iterations, I go back and forth with how that could happen. But the thing is that basically, the shooting has a few key elements that make it that intense: it happens by chance, Eddie is just in the wrong place at the wrong time, they get called there specifically since Charlie calls Eddie not 911, they're working with another house so they don't have anyone else they trust, being shot brings up a past trauma for Eddie with the army, Buck does the saving alone, Buck faces a past trauma to get to Eddie, by rolling under the truck. And what they went there to do is already done once Eddie gets shot, I keep forgetting this one.

So most of my visions involve Eddie saving Buck in a way that hits as many of those items as possible. At first, I was thinking about the trigger for the situation being Buck trying to save someone who would serve as a surrogate for someone Buck loves, a stranger who gets an extreme reaction from Buck that makes him do something stupid that gets him trapped, then with the cruise possibly being bathena's honeymoon cruise, him saving Bobby or Athena also became plausible.

But after I created this whole thing based around Bobby, my brain wouldn't stop chanting "what if it was Eddie?" because Eddie had the whole "I'm gonna die alone" and "we have time" arc at the end of season 6, and sure, he was trapped in the van alone, but his radio still worked, he had no reason to believe Buck wouldn't get to him, so like many things in season 6 that's not really closed. So I started to think about how Eddie could be the reason Eddie has to save Buck, and all the ways this could be fun for the rest of the season and a possible recovery arc for Buck. Because it's an established fact that Buck goes ballistic when Eddie is in danger and the consequences there could be fun, even more considering the way even though we are supposed to believe Buck is this daredevil type firefighter, none of his brushes with death are because he's being irresponsible, it all happens because of bad luck, so to have something happen to him because he's actively putting himself in danger for someone he loves could be really interesting for his character.

But, the thing is, Eddie is the reckless one, classically when kids are involved, climbing up to the roof of a burning house, cutting his own line, so an element that could go into play here, is Eddie doing something reckless to get to a kid while alone. Fun things that can up the stakes here is the way that considering it's a call on a massive body of water, any equipment that has electric/electronic components could malfunction, so we can get radios out of commission, different pieces of equipment too. So we can have Eddie doing something stupid, ending up trapped with a kid in some sort of room or piece of the wreckage, Buck going ballistic as usual, forcing Eddie to get out first, or maybe shoving Eddie and the kid out of the way, and something going wrong, another explosion, the ship shifting, I like the idea of equipment malfunctioning because it is also something that happens with Buck, equipment not working for him, the ladder breaking under him, the truck trapping him, with this thing that goes wrong blocking the entrance they used, so Buck would be trapped in a space filling with water he can't get out of, it takes a minute for Eddie to notice Buck didn't come out (that bit is mostly over the way Eddie is always last to know, last to look up after the lightning, the last to see Shannon, etc), since I want Eddie to have a clawing at the dirt moment, I think that having Eddie being unable to get to Buck at first would be fun, have him banging at whatever is blocking the entrance trying to break his way in and at the same time let Buck know he's coming (also I think Ryan would have fun punching things lol), then the fun aspects of a drowning scene, Eddie finally breaks back in (maybe even with some hesitation considering Eddie almost died in a small space filling with water before), Buck is submerged, he pulls Buck out, cpr, if we're lucky mouth to mouth, you're not doing this to me again, Buck dropping back into Eddie once he wakes up, I got you, all the cool things of letting Ryan and Oliver's emotional power out for a spin.

I like this vision mostly because I'm lowkey obsessed with the possible consequences of Buck almost dying because of Eddie. Buck wouldn't handle almost dying again well, Eddie wouldn't handle saving Buck again well, this could lead to some fun fights between the two of them, even more with the space they are putting between the two since the cemetery. This could be the mother of all triggers, give Eddie some recovery isn't linear moment, give Buck a full breakdown, make them fight and no one being sure why they're fighting.

And having it happen that way you hit both well and shooting elements, the same way the lightning does. And Buck getting trapped by the ship moving for example creates the happening by chance aspect, them being alone is easy because a situation like this will definitely have multiple houses responding, the nearest one not being the 118 is expected, by consequence Eddie doing the saving alone, water and being pinned under something brings up a previous trauma for Buck, a small space filling with water brings a previous trauma up for Eddie, so we can make it a very nice mirror of the shooting.

You can even have some moments while Buck is alone and the water is rising that could make it clear that Buck is not in the best mental state.

Obviously, everything about this works with them saving literally anyone, from Bobby or Athena to a random child with brown hair and red glasses, so I think I'm set in the general idea here, I think Buck getting trapped somewhere in the ship is the easiest way to make it happen, but how it would happen would depend on the consequences they want to pull from it.

Sorry, I'm gonna go off here since you agree with my tags, I'm an Abby hater, and I've been an Abby hater since the first time I watched season one (granted I did watch s1 in a haze in one weekend so everything happened back to back for me) because like, for starters, if a male dispatcher in his 40s used his position to get the number of the cute 26 yo female firefighter he saw on the news, no one would let that fly as a love story and that's makes me irrationally angry because they keep putting Buck through shit and never dealing with it because he's a man, but I digress, Abby abuses her position on dispatch to get his number, actively pursues him to make herself feel better, and I get it, she's in a shit situation, but Buck is a human with his own set of feeling that need to be validated here too, but she never does. She tells him not to sleep with other people before they're even dating, she doesn't believe him with the whole catfish thing, they get into a fight because of it and she just ups and leaves for a different continent with no warning, no nothing. And she leaves him leaving at her place and she decides she's not coming back and her reaction is to stop talking to him? She forces Buck to remove himself from the situation she dragged him into because she doesn't have the guts to break up with him and when she comes back all he gets is flimsy excuses, she never apologizes about the way that she left, stopped talking to him, and came back with a whole fiance, she keeps making it all about herself and her feelings as if Buck wasn't in the relationship as well. And she makes Buck promise he's gonna save her fiance and Buck puts himself in danger to do it. She makes me so angry because Buck is Abby's love interest, not the other way around, so the relationship is all about her, but since Buck is the one who stays, we keep seeing him trying to pick up the pieces when she ghosts him and that shit makes me want to start a fight so bad.

Anna, I'M SO AGREE WITH EVERY WORD WITH 1000000000%. I watched 911 1-4 in a wek before 5s, and when I was watching all 1s I was constantly feel sick with the way they treat Buck like it's ok to make him feel like trash to make Abby feel good. All their relationship from the start looked like old enough woman needed to have fun time and used young man for it. She always treated him like shit, but "oh poor Abby was going through a lot and it's Buck should change himself for her". SHE SHOULD TREAT HIM BETTER TOO. He's her partner, not a toy, but she never did ANYTHING FOR HIM. Not believes him when he was begging her, not even normally end things. No, but once I got a comment on the last chapter of a multi, saying that they 'liked it up until the smut' because I made them use spit as lube and apparently 'I was promoting unsafe sexual practices'........ love, this is fiction and not a sex ed class. The characters in question weren't even fully human, come on now.

I have been moderating my comments ever since, because I'm just not willing to give the time of day to idiots like that.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Funnily enough I wasn't big on smut for a really long time and though I felt that some stories needed it, I always just wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible (I also used to skim sex scenes when I was reading) because I just didn't really find them interesting... that kinda changed when I found some truly exquisite fics and realised that smut can be written just engagingly as the rest of the story and now I include explicit smut in most of the stuff I write. I just really enjoy getting into that part of the characters' minds and finding different scenarios and new nasty things for them to do 😊

What kind? Hmm. Not sure, I like to sprinkle in some sub/dom undertones and a little bit of a praisekink or edging even for the most vanilla stuff. I wouldn't say my stuff is that kinky?? Though I did write watersports, public settings and some degradation too, but who even knows what's considered kinky nowadays...

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

I don't write crossovers, I don't even read them... it's just not for me, I guess.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of, so hopefully not

It was the way I used to RP in high school... I'd write a paragraph and then my roommate would write the next and we'd pass the notebook back and forth until we finished... it was mostly smut though and I have no idea if I could actually co-write something publishable 💔

I have a few forever fandoms and forever ships... but I gotta say buddie is the most fun I ever had in fandom so far, so I think they deserve the title (hah)

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

fuck, so many 😭 but I have a long steddie fic (26k already written and it's about halfway done) that I regret not finishing, because it was the ultimate angst and character study and I just... yeah, it would've been great, but maybe I get into the mood when season 5 comes out (or it'll just make me wanna never touch the fandom ever again, who knows)

16. What are your writing strengths?

Not sure what counts as strength, but I love learning the speech patterns of the characters I'm writing for and I guess I've gotten kind of alright at it??

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Writing fluff is definitely something that doesn't come easy for me

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

Worth it if it makes sense in context and you can make sure that you translate correctly (or realistically incorrectly, if that's what you're going for). Overusing another language just to show that you can is not a good reading experience though, especially if you only put the translation in the end notes.

Also, making a character that rarely ever speaks that language speak it extensively without a good reason can take me out of the story real fucking quick... generally just use it when it makes sense and you can make sure that you're not butchering it.

I think the first one I ever posted online was a RyoDa fic (jpop rpf, respectively) and the first fandom I posted for on ao3 was Stranger Things

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

Hmmmm. It kinda changes as I move along. I always felt like Hunger at last was pretty under-appreciated compared to my other witcher fics, but It might walk like a duck was something I wrote in about 2 days because it came to me so smoothly and I really enjoyed writing it... The Companion is a big favourite for me because I think it was a pretty unique idea to work with... also it's not even posted yet but the mudslide fic already has such a special place in my heart, plus it has my favourite confession scene I've ever written so...

fuck it friday

it's technically friday here already and I'm trying to keep myself busy until 2am for the episode (and trying to stay awake, I've been up for over 20 hours now and there's 1.5h left lmao this is gonna be fun - but I am not missing the madney wedding live) so I figured I'd start fif off haha

today a lil more from my bucktommy smut that's slowly coming together (very slowly, it's gonna be so long, we're at 3k and they're still dressed, and I kinda want to spread it out over a few dates 🙈)

“Can I-” he starts, panting against Tommy’s lips. “I really need to touch you.” he gulps, his grip tightening just a little bit, a stifled sound escaping Tommy. Buck wants to hear him, wants to hear all the sounds he can elicit from him.

“You are touching me.” Tommy teases, and Buck kisses a smirk off his face, nipping at his bottom lip as he pulls away, Tommy chuckling in response. Buck is so enamored by this man, he can barely stop smiling.

“You know what I mean.” he shakes his head a bit.

“I do.” Tommy licks his lips. “But I kinda wanna hear it.” he adds with a smug grin, but then places his hands on Buck’s cheeks and makes him look into his eyes, smile turning into something softer. “I need you to tell me what you want.”

“I want you naked.” is what Buck blurts out, and as if involuntarily, Tommy’s hips thrust into his hand, a low groan escaping him.

“Alright, baby.” Tommy whispers, smiling softly, breathing heavy, and Buck thinks he’s going to melt, his heart speeding up.

tease tidbit tuesday

tagged by @disasterbuckdiaz and @daffi-990 finally putting in some progress on my tarlos pwp!

Luckily it doesn’t take long for Carlos to corner TK, dragging him into the bathroom and pushing him against the wall. Before TK can say anything or protest, Carlos is unzipping TK’s pants and spreading his cheeks to get a good look at what type of plug he put in.

Oh. Oh, TK is in so much trouble. He put in the new one they just bought. A late honeymoon present for them to use. It’s a vibrating one that has a remote control to it. In the past Carlos would have TK wear a normal anal plug for a couple hours in public. Their naughty little secret just for them. Sometimes made even better if Carlos came inside TK before putting in. Lately they’ve been talking about experimenting with a vibrating one. See how well TK could do with controlling his reactions as Carlos steadily increased the vibrations. It isn’t until now they bought one.

And looks like TK took it upon himself to put that idea into motion. 

“Sneaky.” He slaps the base of the plug, causing TK to jump and gasp. “Where’s the remote, baby?” Hands start wandering in TK’s pockets before finally finding it in his right jacket. “You gonna be a good boy for me tonight?” TK hasn’t moved his head from where Carlos pressed him against the wall, but his face breaks out in a wide grin. He’s still acting like a brat, but that’s okay. Carlos will fix that. 

Pushing himself abruptly off of TK, he slowly heads out the bathroom door. He makes a show of putting the remote in his right jacket pocket for TK to see as he does. Now the real fun begins.

LOL Thank you for saying it. Eddie, you've been knew. Buck, get that cowboy hat on! But you know what? Eddie could have easily called him 'Buckaroo.' It's a play on Buck's nickname, it's well established, it has been used by multiple members of the 118 platonically, and it IS less charged with sexual innuendo than 'cowboy.' But nope, Eddie "feral" Diaz saw Buckaroo and bypassed it and went straight for the one that was gonna make all the shippers scream. Yeah, 911 knows what it's doing.
