I’m thinking about how from the beginning of the season, I saw posts analyzing the intro in slow-motion and people found the hard cuts where Wally would be

So as the season went on, I’ve had it in the back of my head that “if/when he shows up close to the finale, whatever episodes are left, he’ll be in the full intro”

So 4x25 has aired and no news yet, but I have theories for 4x26:

What if they just didn’t play the intro, they just started the episode, and the intro played near the end? It would feel like a complete bookend, and if they bring him back, it will feel that much stronger

Unless they just bring him in in the cold open, lol. I wouldn’t think they would do that, but it’s the finale, and a LOT of stuff just happened in 4x25, so who knows, it could just start off with Rocket in the timestream, she finds him, he says a line, cut to intro and he’s included~

Aside from—this is the Season 4 finale, they’ve been building this up for so long, they have the perfect reason to switch things up for the sake of presentation/emotional impact—I’ve also seen a lot of theories about time travel in this episode, and guys, wouldn’t it be funny and cool if they did the main theme at the *end* of the episode in the huge time travel season finale?

^ or a variation of that: start with the cold open, regular intro theme, then later in the episode after time travel stuff has happened, it plays the same scene from the cold open but Changed, and then into the intro theme but it’s complete now
