Have you seen the owl house pilot leaks?

Yeah I saw it.

Personally I think it was better than the actual show's pilot. I've mentioned before that when I watched the first episode I thought it was kinda meh.

A big part of that was that the whole theme revolved around being rejected for being weird but the examples they gave where just kind of typical media "quirky". But as the show went on it became more obvious that "weirdos" was meant to to represent neurodivergent, disabled, and gay people.

With the pilot, I think Luz was more obviously coded neurodivergent right away. That whole scene of Luz giving Amity a drawing of them (oh yeah Amity and Lilith are in the pilot) because she thought they were friends now, and didn't pick up that Amity was just weirded out and annoyed with her. Gives off major neurodivergent trying to befriend a neurotypical vibes.

Ngl I was more devastated at the scene where Amity crumbled up Luz's drawing and was laughing at Luz thinking they were friends, than anything in the actual first episode.

And was so touched when near the end when Eda found the drawing and not knowing it was Luz's said "This beautiful. Why would anyone throw this away?". Really sold that weirdos stick together.

But it make sense that the original pilot was better since if you're pitching a show you're gonna want to put all the best ideas into the pilot. While with the actual show they probably wanted to space out those ideas and characters.

However, I like the actual show concept we got in the end better (I did NOT like the twist at the end that Eda was working for Belos)

Also it felt strange to hear Lilith have Warden Warden Wrath's lines but I noticed the slight change of line that reflects the character. In the actual first episode, Eda says she's hiding from guards and ex boyfriends. Foreshadowing Wrath. In the pilot Eda instead says "No guards or family to bother me". Foreshadowing Lilith.

“Easy Fish.” Urged Ben as Frankie returned to consciousness with a start “Take it, easy man… you had a cardiac episode.” Ben stated as he watched Frankie blink a few times.

“What happened!” Frank groaned, scrunching his eyes tightly in the hope they’d be clearer when he opened them again.

“You collapsed.” Ben started, his hand giving Frank’s a friendly squeeze “Your heart rate when berserk. They had to shock you to get it back to a regular rhythm.”

“He awake?” Came a new voice and Ben glanced over his shoulder to see Mary walk in with two take-out cups of coffee.

“Yeah,” Ben replied plainly, nodding his thanks when Mary handed him one of the cups.

“Hey, baby.” She cooed as she leaned over to kiss his brow “How ya feeling?”

Frankie’s head turned to look at Mary, his brow furrowing at the realisation that it wasn’t her he’d wanted to see when he woke up.

Where’s Titch?

Then he remembered what happened. His daughter's birth. He Titch had started bleeding and how he’s been dragged from the room and forced into the waiting room where he’d collapsed after telling the boys what had happened.

“Titch.” He choked out and Mary’s expression dropped.

“Really? You wake up to your girlfriend and the first person you ask about of your friend?” She scoffed as she folded her arms over her chest like a grumpy toddler.

“She had the baby. she was bleeding. Please… Ben, how's Titch?!” He managed to choke out as he turned his head and pleaded with Ben.

The younger Miller’s expression was easily read. He looked a mixture of worried and devastated and Frank’s stomach dropped.

“She’s holding on Fish.” Was all he could tell him right now “She’s holding on.”

“I wanna see her!” Franky sobbed and Ben nodded.

“Franky, you should really be resting.”

“Take me to her or I’ll take myself.” He snapped with finality. Leaving no room to argue.

…

You were smothered in wires and tubes. Frank couldn’t be sure what all of them did but the thick one down your throat was an obvious one.

“What’s the doctor saying?” He asked Will, who had been watching over you whilst Ben had done the same for Frankie.

“She lost a lot of blood but they were able to repair the damage without having to resort to a hysterectomy.” He stated as he scrapped a hand over his tired face “The blood loss led to the coma though. It’s touch and go, Fish, I’m gonna be honest with you.”

Frankie nodded numbly, his eyes never leaving you as he clutched to your hand like a lifeline.

“She’s gonna make it.” He stated surely after a few minutes “She just needs to get her strength up for Esme is all.”

Ben gave his friend a sympathetic look. He knew Frankie was experiencing a myriad of emotions right now and he needed some semblance of hope to hold onto. Something to keep him from falling to pieces completely.

"This is, Dad, I presume?" An older nurse with a kind smile asked as she entered the room "You gave us all quite a scare."

Frankie could only give her a sheepish look before returning his attention to you. All he cared about right now was how you were and whether you were going to get better. He knew the boys were holding back the whole story from him and he understood why. He was a literal ticking time bomb.

"How's the baby?" Asked Ben, his question grabbing the pilot's attention.

"Oh, she's just perfect!" The older woman gushed "My colleagues up in NICU are smoothing her with cuddles and attention."

"Thank you." Frank said softly as he smiled up at her.

"Oh, that's quite alright sweetie." She said kindly as she grabbed his shoulder and gave it a squeeze "She'll be ready to go home with you when they discharge you tomorrow."

"She what?" Fish asked, shocked that he wouldn't be leaving the hospital alone tomorrow.

He had assumed that Esme would stay with you but in hindsight, he knew really that that wouldn't make sense. You were in a coma and they weren't sure when you would wake up. Esme couldn't wait forever.

"Oh, sweetie." The nurse cooed as she cupped his cheek affectionately "I know this is a scary situation but you are going to be just fine."

"What if I can't… What if I can't do this without her?" He choked and Ben felt his heart, break for the man.

"You won't be alone Fish!" Will stated, "You got all of us here to help in whatever way we can!"

"Emse is gonna be so fucking loved man." Ben exclaimed, "She's gonna have a literal army behind her and when Titch is better, she'll have the best mum to look up to!"

Frankie nodded, giving his friends a small smile before looking back at you again. You had to get better. You needed to, because the truth is…

He didn't want to do this without you.

"Why won't she stop crying." Frankie sighed as he bounced Emserelda in his arms "What's the matter querido?"

"Here, give her to me!" Mary stated as she held her arms open, ready to receive the screaming infant.

Frankie hesitated for a moment before handing Esme over to her, eyes widening when she started to settle. His heart broke that he couldn't settle her the way Mary had. What was he doing wrong?

"See… She just needed some step mummy time." She gushed as she kissed the tip of Esme's nose.

Frank's stomach turned at her statement. The truth was that he had been meaning to break up with Mary before this had all happened. He liked her. He liked her a lot but he didn't love her. He didn't feel for her the way he did for Titch.

"You know, I think we could do this." Mary piped up, grabbing Frank's attention.

"Do what?"

"This!" She stated, motioning her head at the baby in her arms "Raise her together. I'm sure Titch would want Esme to have a mother figure in her life."

"She will." Frankie growled "She'll have Titch… Her mother."

"Well hopefully but if Titch doesn't pull through. I'm sure she'll be able to rest knowing that this little princess is loved."

Frankie stared at her with his mouth practically hanging open. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Mary practically called dibs on the baby that he shared with you. Not her.

"Mary-"

"Where's my favourite goddaughter!" Benny entering the kitchen stopped Frank in his tracks "There she is!" He cooed as he scooped Esme from Mary's arms and gave her a big soppy kiss on her little cheek.

"You ready to go?" He asked as he looked up from the baby in his arms to Frank who was watching his friend fondly from where he was standing.

"Ready to go where?" Mary asked, her brows pulling together as she looked between Frank and Ben expectantly.

"We're gonna take lil' Esme here to see mummy," Ben stated as he pulled silly faces at the baby in his arms.

"Why? Not like she knows that she's there." Mary seemed perplexed by why either of them thought this was necessary.

"We're hoping that taking to her and having Esme there will help Titch come out of this. Doc said that coma patients can hear things going on around them so hopefully, she'll know we're there for her and will wake up."

"Seems ambitious," Mary mumbled under her breath but Frankie still caught it.

"Well, we need to do something." He growled at her "I'm not just writing her off. She's the mother of my child and the lo-" He stopped himself before he could say the next statement but judging by Mary's expression, she knew what he was about to say "I need to do something, Mary." He said softly as he let out a long sigh "I can't just give up on her."

Mary didn't answer. She simply nodded before pulling out Esme's bottles and formula and throwing it into her bag before roughly shoving it into Frank's arms.

"I'll see you later." He said as he kissed her cheek and she simply hummed and nodded, not returning the gesture.

Frankie sighed, shrugging the back onto his shoulder and following Ben as he headed to the door, grabbing her carrier on his way out. Ben drove to the hospital whilst Frank sat in the back with his daughter, chatting away to his friend whilst he doted on Esme's every movement.

"So how are things with you and Mary?" Ben asked as he carried Esme through the clinical hallways towards your room.

"They're okay." Frankie replied "She's been really great with the baby. Taken it head-on and hasn't complained once about the fact that she's losing sleep.

"That's good." Ben gave his friend a small smile as they rounded the corner and were greeted by the large ICU sign "Do you think… Do you want…" Ben didn't know how to work his next question but Frankie knew what he was getting at.

He stopped just shy of the swinging doors and let out a sigh as he scraped a hand over his tired face.

"I don't know Ben." He replied honestly "I really care for Mary. She's done a lot for me. Put up with a lot and she's really taken care of me since my health has gotten worse. I owe her a lot and she deserves better than what she's got at the moment but I just don't know if I see us being forever."

"Because you love Titch?" Ben asked, although he already knew the answer.

"Because I love Titch!" Frank confirmed, lifting his hat to scrape his hair back before replacing it again.

"Speaking of." Ben pipped up a little more enthusiastically "Let's go see mummy hmmm?" He said as he looked down at Emse who was gazing up at him with her big eyes.

The two of them then made their way to your cubical. Greeting the medical staff that they had come to know on a personal basis in the two weeks since Esme had been born. You were the same as every other day. Laying there deathly still as the ventilator pumped air in and out of you and the heart monitor played its usual tune.

"We brought someone to see you today Titch!" Stated Ben as he cupped the back of Esme's head and held her securely so he could bend down and kiss your brow "Lil' Titch is here."

He said as he turned the baby around in his arms so she could see her mum.

"Say, hi mummy."

Frankie grinned at Ben's antics before shuffling past him so he could say his own hellos, kissing you on the cheek rather than the forehead before whispering in your ear.

"Hey, Hermosa." He muttered affectionately as he pulled back to look at you "Think you might wake up for me today?"

You didn't respond. You never did.

Frankie sighed before kissing the corner of your mouth and then standing straight, glancing at Ben who was grinning at him.

"What?" He asked, rolling his eyes at the younger man.

"Oh, nothing…" Benny chuckled to himself as he bounced on his toes.

"Shut up."

Later that Day Frankie found himself watching his daughter fondly as she slept in his arms, Mary's head resting on his shoulder. The room was deathly silent except for Esme's soft snores and the faint tick of the clock on the mantle.

"I got to give it to you Frank." Mary piped up after a while "You make cute babies."

Frankie turned his head to look at her, grinning like a loon before returning his attention to his daughter. She was perfect. Cute chubby cheeks with soft brown locks. Her little legs reminded him of little croissants, something he had mentioned to the guys every time he'd changed her when they were around.

"I've been thinking." Mary said again after a short pause, turning her head so that her chin now rested on Fish's shoulder.

"Don't strain yourself." Frankie joked and Mary scoffed at him, leaning back to playfully swat him on the arm.

"I'm being serious Franky." She whined and he grinned at her muttering his apologies.

"What have you been thinking about?"

"Maybe if… If Titch doesn't… you know." She started and already Frankie didn't like the direction this conversation was going "Maybe I could adopt her."

"What?"

"I mean… We're together and it's looking like we're going to be raising her together." She stated, shrugging her shoulders slightly as she leaned back and picked at the hem of her shirt.

"Does it?"

"I mean, it's been what two, almost three weeks and Titch hasn't gotten any better." She fumbled out "If she dies, then it would make sense for me to adopt her."

Frankie stood abruptly, taking Mary by surprise.

"Where are you going?"

"To put Esme down." He growled.

She nodded nervously then watched as he disappeared upstairs, returning a few minutes later with a baby monitor in hand and an expression on his face that made her shiver.

He sat down on the chair across from the couch, his elbows resting on his knees as he stared at the monitor that he'd placed on the coffee table a few moments ago.

"Frankie I know this is a lot to take in but we're really good together and I think that we'll be really great parents-"

"I cheated on you." He stopped Mary dead in her tracks.

"What?"

"The night Titch went into labour." He started, his eyes still firmly glued to the baby monitor "We kissed."

"Well, if you only kissed then that's okay." Mary all but squeaked out "Emotions were high with the baby and all."

"We didn't just kiss." He continued, his eyes finally drifting to her "I got her off and then we were headed to the bedroom when her waters broke."

"So you were planning on having sex with her?" Mary asked and Frankie nodded "Do you feel guilting?" She asked, her eyes brimming with tears.

Frankie shook his head in reply.

"Why?"

"Because I am in love with her!" He exclaimed, closing his eyes and sighing when Mary flinched at his tone "I am in love with her and I think she feels the same way for me."

"Frankie she doesn't." Mary sighed "She used you remember? She humped you then dumped you."

"It was different." Frankie argued, feeling his blood boil when Mary rolled her eyes at him.

"Different how?"

"She kissed me."

"So?"

"I don't have to explain myself to you." Frank snapped, his eyes burning into the coffee table as he glared at it.

"Well, actually you do!" She snapped "Because you cheated on me and I deserve an explanation. I think we can work past this but-"

"I don't want to."

"Frankie don't be ridiculous ."

"I'm not being ridiculous Mary!" He shouted "I don't love you. I loved the idea of you but the truth is that I need to be with Titch. Whether that's romantically or not." Frankie started to pant and he knew he needed to calm down. He was treading on dangerous ground here.

"Frankie please!"

"I think it's best you leave Mary."

"You don't mean that." She pleaded, clawing at his arm as she dropped to her knees and sobbed into his denim-clad thigh.

"I do." He stated simply "I'm sorry but it's over."

…

Frankie was woken by his phone shrilling loudly by his ear. He quickly glanced at the baby and was relieved to see she was still asleep, quickly answering it with a croaking hello.

"Hi, this is Doctor Martins." The voice down the other end stated "Am I speaking with Francisco Morales?"

"This is he." He replied, his heart pounding in his chest.

"Mr Morales I'm sorry to be calling so late but I'm afraid I have some…" He trailed off, a soft sigh floating down the phone before your name fell from his lips "I'm afraid she passed away around 10 minutes ago."

"No."

"We did everything we could but unfortunately we were unable to revive her." The doctor continued.

"No this… this can't be happening." Frankie sobbed, a shaky hand slapping over his lips as she cried.

"I'm so sorry for your loss Mr Morsales." The doctor sighed down the phone "Someone will be in contact with you to arrange what you want to do with her body, or rather where it needs to be sent."

Frankie hung up. His hand fell limply to his side as he sobbed silently in the bed. This couldn't be happening. This wasn't real. Surely?

You were gone… and he was now truly alone.

2.04 Children Shouldn’t Play with Dead Things

-“Yeah right—stuck with those people making awkward small talk until you show up? No thanks”

Clingy Dean is my favorite. He’s going through a hard time and he only wants to be around his Emotional Support Sammy

-At the hotel, Sam does that thing he does where he tells Dean he can see through him and he knows that he’s feeling some type of way about their dad’s death. This is a common romance trope. He knows Dean so so well.

-Every single episode now Sam has pushed Dean to talk to him. I wonder if he suspects that there is more to it than grief for Dean.

-It’s so interesting how their different ways of caring for each other come out—in s1 Dean was always worried about Sam because he’d just lost Jessica. He was patient with Sam and didn’t push him, but it was clear he was noting how much he ate and slept, and he did things like letting Sam sleep while he researched or offering food or letting him drive or putting on music he likes to doze to. Sam needs that respectful caregiving. Sam, however, is relentless when he sees that Dean is suffering and won’t let Dean ignore it. Dean needs that so that he can’t lie or turn away.

-Dean finally looks at Sam head-on after evading him the whole conversation, and Sam kind of draws back. Not fearfully, more like when the person you’re walking with suddenly stops so you do too.

-Sam says “you wanna take another swing? Go ahead, if it’ll make you feel better.” He sounds a little bratty, almost condescending. Like, You wanna do it again since you loved it so much? Since you felt so good after? (Dean didn’t.)

Underneath that, though…there’s softness, like Sam really would let Dean hit him again. He needs Dean to give him something. That punch in the face just didn’t last and he’s desperate.

Dean leaves and I think he’s feeling pretty exposed right now. He’s a liar and his lies don’t work on Sam.

-Sam is a kicked puppy when Dean leaves him. He looks much more devastated here than he did after Dean punched him and walked away. At least when he punched him he didn’t ask to be alone after.

Sam is so worried about Dean. His expression is pleading.

-When Dean comes back, Sam is watching something called “casa erotica 4.” He’s watching it with what looks like scholarly interest, or like he’s trying to figure out the plot from the first three movies he missed. Did he think maybe erotica would make him feel less sad about Dean? Evidently it’s pay per view so Sam had to have actually sought this out. He hasn’t done more than kiss anyone since Jessica died, so maybe this is meant to remind the viewer that he’s horny. So to recount, this episode he’s horny and he’s pleading desperately with Dean for something. I’m just contextualizing.

-Sam says “where the hell were you?” which is something an angry girlfriend would say.

-Dean is very indignant that Sam thought he was wrong about the case. Dean was right, and tells Sam he does actually know how to do his job. Sam used to openly look up to him so of course this is important to him, that Sam still thinks he’s capable.

-Their fights are just SO good. Sam is yelling at Dean that he’s scary and erratic and if this hadn’t been a case “you would’ve just found something else to kill” which gets Dean’s attention. Last episode he basically told Sam that he needs him to keep him from his violent impulses, from just being a killer. Dean walks away again until Sam says “Please—Dean—it’s killing you. Please.” I wonder if Sam says “please” to Dean like this only when he really, really needs him to listen because he knows that it works. Dean finally stops and looks at him, almost reproachfully. His kryptonite.

The fact that Dean feeling unhappy is such an issue for Sam that he’s fighting and begging and asking to be punched makes me want to hurl myself into the sun. He REALLY needs Dean to be okay. If Dean ever tried to pull away from him when they were kids, or ever seemed like he was refusing to talk about something bothering him, Sam must have lost his damn mind. And that’s exactly how Dean would’ve coped with feelings for Sam.

-Sam says they’ve already lost their parents. He says “I’ve lost Jessica. And now I’m gonna lose you too?”

If someone said to you “I’ve already lost my girlfriend. And now I’m going to lose you too?” It would probably feel like you were in a similar role to their girlfriend.

It’s also wild that Sam is comparing their parents’ and his girlfriend’s horrific and violent deaths with Dean just simply not talking about his pain. Like, Jessica burned to a crisp on my ceiling and now this? Emotional distance when I’m sad?

-The way Sam nods when Dean says “I’m being an ass and I’m sorry” is very baby brother. It’s similar to the way he nods when Dean asks him if he’s hungry when he comes back from the dead, just more cross.

-Dean tells him “I hear you” but right now they have a zombie to catch, and he starts walking, leaving Sam crestfallen.

-Dean thinks that Angela’s description of Neal being a shoulder to cry on and understanding what she’s going through sounds like Neal is in “unrequited ducky love” with her and your honor that’s exactly how Sam is treating Dean in this very episode, if only Dean would accept his shoulder.

-Dean says the following while making uninterrupted eye contact with Sam:

Okay!

-Sam tells Dean his plan was “pretty sharp” so now Dean can stop worrying that Sam doesn’t think he’s good at hunting

-Episode theme is “what’s dead should stay dead.”

Dean eventually pulls over and gets out of the car to tell Sam they both know John traded his life for Dean’s. Dean thinks he should be dead and that Sam thinks so too.

This conversation is heartbreaking because Dean asks what Sam could possibly say to make it alright, and when Sam struggles with something but doesn’t speak, Dean seems to take this as him agreeing.

Sam clearly doesn’t agree that Dean should be dead or blaming himself. Sam looks frustrated and worried and upset that Dean could even think that. For one thing Sam just sees things differently and probably hasn’t bothered questioning John’s death very much, and for another Sam chose Dean over John so many times that we can safely assume he’s at peace with this exchange. But he couldn’t possibly say anything right now to make Dean understand, so he just listens.

-Dean’s guilt over John dying for him weighs heavily, and keeping things from Sam is slowly ripping him apart. It will be important in later episodes that Dean struggles so much to keep anything from Sam.

-The way Sam looks at Dean here. He loves him so much. He looks resolute, and I wonder if he’s thinking that he’s going to show Dean he wants him and doesn’t blame him.

"Dean doesn't reciprocate" MY ASS

I'm just kinda gonna write down my thoughts about this. I'm in season 7 now, I know what happens in the very last episode, but nothing else so I don't read any posts about the show here yet :) (just so yk and don't accidentally spoiler me) Oh and I do this mostly out of memory and some notes that I took, so this might be a little chaotic :,)

Okay, so the whole season 6 fight was crazy to me. The way Cas was watching while Dean kept on defending him. And he knew how much Dean trusted him. ("The worst part was Dean. He was trying so hard to be loyal, with every instinct telling him otherwise.") It hurt him, but the whole time he was, again, protecting Dean. And yes, he hurt Dean, but I think it was as worse for Cas to hurt Dean, as for Dean to be hurt.

Then, Dean apologizing for the others? They (thought they) were wrong and Dean had kept on trusting Cas, so why was it him who apologized? Because he knew it meant more to Cas when he did it? Idk.

Cas wasn't able to lie when he looked in Dean's eyes.. come on? Also, the fact Dean wasn't actually mad when he found out was really interesting. He was just extremely sad. Yes, his trust got broken and maybe he was just tired of it all, but it didn't seem like that to me, I felt like he usually got madder.

I love how they always share those sad looks when they go apart after the fights btw, such a best buddys thing to do.

It was really hard for both of them. We can see that Dean can't sleep that night and that Cas comes back to talk to him alone, because it only matters to him that Dean understands.

Oh and the "I'm doing this for you, Dean." I don't even need to explain his motives, because he reveals them himself.

Then the scene from my edit. (at the top) (it's kinda laggy, bc it's slow-motion, but anyways) They both have teary eyes a lot, but this is different. Dean turns aways because he knows he's gonna cry and Cas disappears before he really starts crying, but they are both fuckin crying about this. They're both just sad and want this to end. Even when Dean said he's gonna stop him and so on, it was way less threatening then usually. And Cas kept coming back when Dean was in danger.

But Dean still cared as well. In the first episode of season 7, when Cas asks for help, he pretends he doesn't care about him anymore for a bit, but you can clearly see that he still does. You at least can see it when he thinks Cas is dead. He's devastated.

It's kinda funny how Bobby's there but Cas very obviously only cares to make up to Dean. Like he always says "they're my friends" but in reality he means Dean.

AND THEN.. Cas tries to protect everyone else again and sends them away but DEAN STAYS. I think he knew that there wouldn't be anything he could do, but it didn't matter.

Cas dies again. (give my man a break, please) Dean keeps the god damn coat? I think he might've done it, because he was hoping that Cas would come back again. Anyways, scene was devastating.

In the judge/court episode about Dean's guilt, I immediately hoped Dean didn't feel guilty about Cas too, but was pretty sure he did. My worries were confirmed in episode 5.

So yeah, I suppose that's the part where I am, I guess I have to wait 'till Cas comes back now :,)

I don't think anyone read all this, but I hope I didn't make any grammar mistakes, bc English isn't my first language, so I sometimes get stuff mixed up (I definitely made the tenses confusing). Anyways, rant end.

ATLA NETFLIX, some of the thoughts I wrote down while watching:

The costumes!!!!!!

Fire. Bending.

The bending in general but FIRE bending and the way it left the victims.

Gasp! Oh, oh, oh! Help was sent to the earth kingdoms, maybe not the best fighters but still a lot of them, that's why the air nomads were wiped out and the southern water was devastated while the Earth kingdom stood the strongest. I like the way they set this up.

Kinda bummed that Katara didn't break the ice by getting angry but I'm gonna be optimistic.

Hoooooo Sokka and Zuko exceed my expectations! "His destiny". "Repeating it doesn't help".

Although, the face burn is a bit underwhelming especially with what we just saw of the previous fire victims.

Sooooo excited for all the bending!!!

THE COSTUMES! THE TATTOO, ESPECIALLY THE WAY IT'S PLACED AROUND HIS ARMS!!!

Idk why maybe bcs Katara is my favourite so I'm watching her but she feels so.... Hmmm. Quiet. What happened to her lines at the beginning, for someone who's words are the first we hear in the OG.

When Sokka said "Before you kill someone", I expected at least a "Sokka!".

I do love the actress with the lines she's been given tho. With the rant to Sokka on the Air Temple. Gets that hopeful glint Katara has.

Zuko flipping out yes! He's so... Spazzy, does that make sense?

Suki and Sokka are sooooooooo awkward I LOVE IT!!! Also that Mulan make-up remover. Asians are just built different I guess.

Did I mention I love how Zuko is visibly falling apart, barely able to keep himself together, because I do, I really do!

Okay I'm gonna say it, Katara feels like she's just being dragged around everywhere. No- no initiative.

Feels like she's not getting riled up enough by Sokka maybe.

They did Jet's intro good!

Ooooh! Oh I do adore the secret tunnel scene in this!!!!

The Bumi actor is so good.

A friend. A friend! The direct Aang/Zuko and Gyatso/Iroh parallels.

The Zuko redemption storyline is living up to itself so far.

As for Azula, I really wished they left the breaking down era a little bit later. Like yeah, Azula wasn't right in the head from the beginning but that was shown more in how terrifyingly aloof and unstoppable she was in the earlier episode I believe but, well.

There's already a bond between Aang and Zuko but I've yet to see anything half like OG Katara and Aang!

Hmmm, actually, regarding Azula..... Ozai is, weirdly, invested in Zuko in a way we could've said OG Ozai would never say that. Which explains Azula here.

I love the avatar state glowy effects!

The sexism against Katara doubled and coated with genuine concern and real-life reasons that makes it hard to counter argue is making me lean in, in anticipation of how it will make my Katara blow up.

...... So no plan?..... I'm working on it, Uncle.

Sokka rushing towards Katara to 'convince her'.

Azula and Katara in the same episode is foreshadowing parallels.

Excited to have Katara's bending to visibly improve, like in the OG. And by that I meant how organically her water whip evolved smoother and faster in the animation. Like, you could see it.

........ Pakku vs Katara. Love the action, the effects. It could've been so good in regards to catharsis if Katara had just raged...... I'm just. Not going to.

Getting rid of their machine controls renders the fire army sitting ducks in the middle of ocean. Which makes me think of that reverse AU where the water tribe conquers the world.

If the water benders all work together, they can just have a giant tsunami turn them all over.

Master? Master Katara?...... That's so.... It's surprising rather than something you'd anticipate and cheer when we finally gain it.

Not a single waterbending training montage with Pakku. I'm still not sure if Pakku trained her or just gave her the title.

I like that I can tell that they know what they want to do with Sokka.

Not so much with Katara.

I gasped when all the Northern Tribe female waterbenders stepped forward like that.

So. There's a lot of stuff that they removed and added that I didn't like- less 'added', and more 'rushed'. Things that should've built up gradually, that could've been revealed in little bits were just immediately shown to us- my example here is Azula. When I first saw Azula, she was terrifying, her and her group were both my dream group and incited fear and awe in younger me, I didn't think she was insecure, I didn't think she was scared, she was practically the damn terminator with that epic episode of tracking the gaang slowly but steadily and driving them to exhaustion.

Is she actually insecure and batshit insane and scared? Yes. Was that what you were supposed to be able to tell with a single glance? No.

At first I thought maybe I was just biased with Katara, but I also feel like a lot of stuff they did with Azula was just.....

They did Sokka good, which was actually who I was concerned about the most. Zuko- I really love his portrayal. My moments of doubt with Aang are actually closely tied with Katara, which makes sense because hello, their friendship and bond was very important to the whole thing. Would've been a wonderful contrast to his Past bond with Gyatso and his Future bond with Katara.

I do think it's good.

Hi Steph, lots of love from Germany! 🩵💙🧡 In your reply to the switch theory you wrote that you think switching will come up later in s3 (instead of having happened at the end of s2. and I totally agree with that, the seasons theme was love, pining and miscommunication, that had to culminate in something 😂)

But yeah, my theory is that Aziraphale and Crowley will join/celestial-marry/ "merge/fuse"(??) in some way and become very powerful that way. (Although if they fuse probably not permanently) Because

a) they're crazy strong together

b)when discorporated in s1e5 Aziraphale says sth like "I wish I could inhabit your body, but we'd probably burst into flames" and I don't think that was a set-up for the switch in s1e6, because I think they didnt actually swap bodies just made theyre own body look like the other (I think?) Azzi's physical body couldn't withstand hellfire, right? So that's not happened yet.

c) didn't you write they started out as one character in the book writing process? And in an interview for s2 David Tennant said that usually Michael Sheen and him would compete for the same part and now they're playing the same character split into two.

I'm having a blast being in this fandom, feels like the heyday of BBC Sherlock, hahahh. I'm hoping this blog turns into another "light" success and people just come here to feel "at home" you know? Secondly, yeah, having another think on the Switch Theory, now that it's been a couple months and more of my own theories have formed about S2, I lean more on the "not a fan" side of it. For me it's the erasure of the emotional impact and the IMPORTANCE of their miscommunication that The Final Fifteen gave us, and honestly, there's too many loose threads that just... can't work with that theory. After sitting on it for some time, the big one for me is that Crowley-in-the-car-getting-upset-at-the-music at the end makes NO SENSE if it was A-As-C; No one would be watching him, why continue the act? And Aziraphale's gentle touch-and-cry reaction to the kiss makes NO SENSE if it was C-As-A. I dunno. I can totally see why people support the Theory, but it's not for me. I'm a creature of "I need things to make sense" and too much DOESN'T make sense with it, is all.

And you're right, S2's theme WAS about showing us the development of their relationship, how important they are together, so that the end of E6 would DEVASTATE US, having us wanting more than ever for them to get back together. It was meant to show how truly made for each other they are, just they're two idiots sharing a single braincell and that braincell is emotionally dumb lol.

That all said, I have a similar thought as yours that I've been hemming-and-hawing about for a couple weeks after rereading my own theories to possibly clean them up a bit. While I DON'T think they will "merge" into one being, I DO think that they will combine their powers together in the penultimate episode to "win" (I say penultimate because I have hopes that the final ep will be them moving in together, but I know realistically, a climax can't happen an hour before the end in a story LOL).

BUT I also like your theory as well, because story-wise, the hints have ALREADY been dropped for it since S1, as you mentioned in your points A and B. There was no need for a switch, and I DON'T think it will happen again. BUT the purpose of the switch was to show that Crowley and Azzie's powers are COMPATIBLE. THAT is what's important here, and it sets up their Together Miracle in S2. And if we're going on the idea that in S3 they'll finally be in-sync and that they only get MORE powerful the more comfortable and "on-the-same-page" they get, well, yeah, I think Heaven and Hell will be wise to leave them be.

As for your point C, yes I did mention that, I BELIEVE in my BIG roundup meta for S4, but it might also be in my 'Crowley’s Past: Was Crowley Archangel Camael?' meta, since I recall doing a LOT of research for that, including trawling through Neil's blog for quotes. But yes, I actually recently saw the gifset with that interview, I think it's in my queue LOL. Neil did confirm ages ago, way back in S1 that early drafts of the book did have them as one character, which is why I think it's MORE likely that their powers are going to be combined instead.

Either way, I think the ONLY theory I absolutely am 100% against is the "they're going to become human" one, because I hate that the condition to their love must be "to love like a human they must be human" and that's just... UGH not on for me. I remain hopeful that that's not the route that their gonna go, since Gabe and Beez didn't become human, and it was a CLEAR mirror for the AziraCrow relationship (a foreshadowing of sorts).

And because I'm thinking of it right now and don't want to forget to write it somewhere, another thing that CONSTANTLY brought up is Alpha Centauri; I hope that they honeymoon there at the end of S3, it'll be a nice payoff for its constant referencing, LOL. And they can't do that if they're human LOL. I want them to spend the next 6000 years and beyond together <3

Thats fair it's a Lakers show, but they needed to focus their attention. Like you said there's too many threads. If they wanted to focus on the westhead stuff, I think they should have spread it out, cause it really went from 0 to 100 with him becoming this paranoid controller of the team. It should have been a gradual build of tension, make him the central villain for that period, hold off on Larry, instead using him as a catalyst for Magics frustrations, and in doing so set him up as the villain for the next time.

And you need to build up Larry as this big force story wise, other wise you don't get that same understanding of why the 84 loss is so devastating to Magic, and would have made the later win against them even more of a triumph and driving force for him. Also if you don't develop him you won't get that understanding of why the Celtics could win besides it being how real events went. With the championship in season 1 you don't have to build up the sixers as much because it's an old established trope. You set up the older more experienced player and the new one overcomes the challenge and beats him, showing he is just as capable.

I think if they had a approached the show from a more even portrayal of everyone on the Lakers in the beginning, instead of focusing on just a few people I'd be thinking about the story differently, but they really did set it up so Buss and Magic are the main characters. And if Buss is taking half the focus to talk about family issues, you do have to pick one major thing to talk about on the players side, and when you don't it turns out the way it did.

So what I'm saying is, HBO, hire me as a story consultant, I can do way better than Adam Mckay.

Completely agree on all points, and that's what I meant when I said that they either should've paid more or less attention to the Westhead drama. Either he's the big bad main villain or Larry is, you're at a disadvantage if you split the two in the wrong way. There's a lot of good tension with Westhead. He leads to an implosion in a different but still volatile way than the previous conflicts had before. They somehow messed that up.

Also yeah, one of my big things w/ how the showed Larry in this show is that they didn't like...I dunno, elevate him enough to the point that you understood why the Lakers were scared of him. They worked on making him an asshole and villain, but they didn't really work on making him look like an actual threat of a basketball player--it's untouched enough that sometimes it feels like the attention that he's getting is undeserved. They're trying, but it doesn't hit hard enough. You're more scared of the Celtics fans than the actual Celtics themselves.

(...to be fair, that's how it is in real life, probably, bc Boston Fans be Crazy BUT YOU KNOW...)

It frustrates me bc they did try w/ the Larry episode. Like, it's like they're acknowledging that you might feel like his reverence is undeserved bc of the point of view of the series has made it seem that way, so here's an episode showing that he comes from a really rough place, had to work really hard, that he respects and is respected by black players back home, that his arrogance is founded and underpinned by this need to prove himself.

But you only get one episode of that, and we kind of forget about Larry for a bit as we go through the Westhead and New Girlfriend drama. And we're not even touching on the rest of the celtics.

I dunno, maybe I should rewatch it. I just remember being frustrated. And yet here I am, still kind of wishing they had been able to make a season 3 ahahaha

i definitely read this somewhere a year ago and im regurgitating it but 

i absolutely HATE the way that spike slowly becomes a chill dude, albeit slightly unhinged, but stands up for his friends and is chill around women to a raging misogynistic asshole by the fourth season. we get four spike appearances and they literally just show the decline in his alter ego throughout the whole show. first season, spike literally puts together a football team (and counts bree in as an equal which he would NEVER do by the fourth season since women are so delicate omg). and they work as a team! he’s not trying to impress anyone and is just kinda vibing. season two things go downhill slightly but not by much. he really only fights perry and tries to make a few unsuspecting students eat it. again, he’s regarding perry as his equal (even though the show may say she doesn’t count because she’s not what most people would consider a women). third season really ruins the whole character and gimmick. like it’s already devastating enough that chase is stressed out enough on his date with sabrina for spike to pop out and then spike’s actions just make it ten times worse. like he’s never shown any inclination of needing to “woo” the lady or stupid gender norms in general. like it’s actually so disgusting watching him “flirt” with over the top pet names and trying to impress her by beating up adam. his motivation is to take care of the threat which is infringing on him (in this case, adam) NOT complete the side mission of ogling women. fourth season is the absolute worst spike episode, and not just because i literally stopped watching the show for 5 years solely because of it LMAO. here, spike is a full blown misogynist and there’s no beating around the bush anymore. like after being set on kate or spikette to turn her back, he merely starts flirting with her and then proclaims that he doesn’t fight girls. AND THEN when spikette and bree or now spikerella are ready to duel, he’s like “this should be good. everyone knows girls can’t fight.” and it’s meant to be this offhand remark that eventually gets shot down at the end, but the way they went through with it pisses me off so much. AND EVEN CHASE AT THE END IS LIKE “I guess girls can fight, who knew?” LIKE DOES HE STILL HAVE A TRACE OF SPIKE IN HIM OR????? he would literally never say that???? so yeah, that is how the evolution of spike has gone from chaotic to pure sexism throughout the span of lab rats.

i personally believe everything in 73 was either a lie or a kevin from a non-primary timeline

you start with 70A. the way the episode is framed is meant to make it seem like carlos is going to leave cecil for kevin, and based on kevin's encouragement and later devastation, we can assume that's what kevin thought too. back when kevin just thought cecil was coming to live in the dow he was willing to try to get along (offering to share dbtcr), but then carlos leaves and.....

and then 3 episodes later kevin, for the first and only time, just accidentally taps into nvcr? and tells us a sob story?

which then gets followed up with an arc about how ex-desert bluffs citizens are discriminated against in night vale and cecil slowly turning around to trust smiling god worshipers and see them as full citizens

only for the joycon "from the future" to send kasper to try to take over the town again?

from the future like how dbt's time moves ten times faster?

i think the whole thing was a plot by kevin to get cecil and the town to lower their guard so he could attack them again.

in my opinion there is far more evidence that kevin has been running the show while trying to put up a mask of innocence.

yes there are loose ends in my theory, im ok admitting that. like in the patreon q&a kevin alludes to being depressed over how he was treated by strex. but even so, he also said that in strex you could get promoted by killing your manager. so it's entirely possible that kevin, who cannot die, just killed his way to the top, even if he had previously been a victim. he may have been forced to join but that doesn't mean he cant play to win.

i think theories that say kevin was 100% a victim the entire time and didnt gain freedom or autonomy until dbt don't take into consideration things like pastor munn saying kevin founded the joycon or kevin saying he and lauren ran "a company" together and dont explain why the joycon would attack night vale again if there wasnt beef. maybe those theories do exist! i just havent seen them.

and! i also fully believe strex was a joycon-owned proxy company like quality cryogenics was. it explains to me how the joycon can be 40+ years old while strex was still buying db, even tho it only took strex a year to buy all of nv. and it explains how strex uses the logo of the centipedes hunting trail (centipede worship > joycon formation > strex founding).

so yeah. i think kevin just lies to divert attention so he can be the puppet master, much like how in dbt he's just a radio host and lauren's mayor, but kevin's the one telling lauren what to do. i think that's his mo, i think that's how it's always been

Thoughts: The Innkeeper

Ahhhhh here we go, part 3 of 3. I'll do the new episodes next week once I've had time to digest. Ugh, I can't believe I have to wait until I get home from work tomorrow to watch, what the actual fuck? Anyway!

That little lick of flame to open is kind of elegant, I like it

"Soul Reaper" makes me laugh because I can just imagine that guy being like, "Yeah, I'm a reaper of souls but also...I've got soul" and it's doubly terrible.

Just watching Zheng in action and thinking about "Every pirate captain captains pirates differently"

I really love Stede's crew lined up and watching as they approach the Revenge, I think they all look suitably shellshocked and I think they're all at least a little bit thinking of it like Jim was when they were talking to Archie, a place where their lives meant something

Stede scaling the side of the ship, not wasting a thought on something as trivial as a rope ladder

One moment to survey the devastation and then back to action

"Guys, hi!" Like there's nothing amiss about the scene he just walked in on. Never change.

"I thought you'd be taller" is such a great callback

"He retired" belongs in the Treacherous Liars Hall of Fame. And "If you don't want to work anymore, you can just give up, I guess," is another early favorite for best line delivery of the Season

Love Zheng's face when she says "Leather. And B.O."

When I watched the trailer and I saw the bits that had this blue saturation to them I called a dream/vision situation and I guess I wasn't far off. Everything about the way this is shot is gorgeous.

My sis: "Why is there a pig?" I think since it's a dream (-ish) it's one of those things where the brain just tries to plug in something, I don't think Ruthie has any real significance but I would love to hear thoughts if anyone has any. It did remind me a little of the bit in "Cold Mountain" where Inman meets the goat woman who cares for him for a time. Like, some mysterious hermits have goats, some have pigs. *shrug*

I think i want to start a band and call it the Coolin' Bevvies

Jim and Olu forever, even if not as a capital-c Couple, even if only as best friends they tell stuff to

The way Con's voice trembles when says "I dared to mention your fuckin' name" - masterful

Stede seems to be realizing that for everything he's coming to understand about Ed and about pirating there's still a whole world of stuff he needs to learn.

Okay, dumb question, is Ed's shirt black or is it purple? Or is it legit changing from shot to shot? Or is it just the...the filter or whatever they used here? (Sorry, I don't know the lingo) whatever, I love it, sometimes his hair even has a purple cast to it, so cool.

When Ed starts flashing back in reaction to Hornigold going at him and there's that one tiny burst of Izzy laughing at him - oh god, that's such a gut punch

In all seriousness, Taika is so good in this whole scene

I really like Olu defining a friend as "someone I'd like to see grow old"

Lol every time at "This one has a smell" because yes, chamomile has a smell and it is weird

"I never said that"/"You say that all the time" - another hilarious callback/inversion

Between multiple viewings of both this episode and the trailer, I've seen this bit with Black Pete and the crossbow probably dozens of times and I still laugh out loud every time

I think...Izzy's trying. That's all I'm gonna say for right now. I think he's trying.

"I hate you. I've always hated your guts." Oh, all my insides clenched. Oh Ed.

And then...and then. I don't even know where to start about this whole sequence. I loved it the first time I watched it, and I sobbed (always a good indicator in my book, I think Stede saying "I messed all of this up" is what really touches me off) and I think I've loved it more every time I've watched it. It's beautiful and perfect and sweet and just the right amount of dramatic and just the right amount of...silly, which doesn't mean I'm selling it short or diminishing it in any way, I mean silly in the best possible way. And the way they smile at each other when they're finally face to face? And the way Ed leans in? That's it, going to watch again....

I was too young (and too American, probably) to have really gotten into Kate Bush in her heyday, I knew "Running Up that Hill," and her album "The Red Shoes" got played a little on the radio around here when it was out, but I honestly don't think I knew "This Woman's Work" until recently. I now love it just by virtue of it being so perfect in this scene. The ethereal-ness of it and the way it builds with the action, or the action builds with the song - I can't think of something that would have been better.

Still traveling? I'm a bit worried bc I want to see Venice but so far no one mention anything about Kan's many love affairs 😩

I've arrived! Hmm about Venice, I think we won't get to see a lot of him, I'm thinking when Kan shows up in ep 12 probably they may hint at him saying something about her being pregnant? Because I think no one else knows that Kan has a mistress and maybe that's something Pete will find out as he enters places no one else has. I think they're making Vegas seem hidden and on the surface evil but only Pete will get to see the bts and the truth of it, like he'll get to see hopefully in 11 or 12 Vegas and Macau relationship with their father, and maybe she'll be there, if not yeah I think they're only focused on the war and the mutiny that the show is leading to, the chess game as we call it, and she may not be part of that, they may not mention Venice if they're changing the end of the book and having it end with when Pete runs after Vegas as a cliff hanger which we're dreading they'll do. I hope they do add hints about Venice though even if they mean to implement him in the season 2, I just hate when shows or companies focus on the season 2 things and ruin their stories because they're so sure it'll get season 2, and then we never get it and we're stuck with shitty endings and unfinished plots but since Venice shows up in side stories only I think yeah we won't see him since I believe season 1 is from Porsche's pov like the book and how he processes the information he comes pass, we'll get VP and we'll see them together but how it'll end will probably be the mutiny and we won't actually see the rebirth and other parts of their story. Which is devastating. I hope they prove me wrong and she shows up so we can breath and scream and know they will add a hint to it. But for now I think Vegas is meant to be seen from Porsche's pov as a shallow villain, so until we enter Pete's pov which I think we will for three episodes, then hopefully we'll see everything we're missing and we'll see Vegas.

But it's unlikely for Venice :(

Thanks! I really trust this company and I think they have time to do a lot for VP but I hate and can't stand sequels so the idea the show was made with a sequel in mind makes me scared VP has been compromised for that. That irritates me but there's nothing we can do about it for now unfortunately.

1899, 1.03- "The Fog"

I have... so many thoughts and feelings about this episode. Another nightmare with another triangle in the eye- this time, it's in the eye of Ying Li, who I really came to care about a lot through seeing her history before she came to be on this ship. The fact that she accidentally killed Mei Mei was quite sad, though of course she still meant to do the identity theft, but that's still quite a far cry from murder. I really enjoyed seeing the resulting relationship between her and Olek. He's been so sweet in helping hide her, and when she turned to him for comfort over the things she'd done, I loved how he held her despite not knowing a word she was saying. Their desire to connect even across the language barrier is so sweet, and I really want to see them find that path.

Which, it surprised me that it seems she's not going down that path with Lucien. Or rather, that he isn't going down that path with her. I definitely thought when he went to meet with her that he was going for the purpose of sleeping with her, but it seems instead that he's hiding his illness from his wife? He keeps trying to take medication for it without her knowing, so it's either that he's sick, or it's a drug he's addicted to and the shaking/seizure is some form of withdrawal? I'm really interested to see where this goes, and to find out what it is that he's trying to hide from Clémence.

Onto another surprise- Krester and Ángel? First of all, I've just got to say that Ramiro and Krester both deserve better- Ángel can't even understand what Krester is saying, and yet just assumes that he's going to be alright with being grabbed like that? And he's doing that behind Ramiro's back? Sorry, one of the things I CANNOT stand is a cheater, so Ángel, I officially don't like you <3 I'm not even entirely certain what Krester was feeling in that scene, but he didn't seem wholly comfortable with Ángel grabbing him, regardless of whether or not he returned the action. Krester deserves someone who can actually ask what he's interested in, what he wants, and then work toward that with him, not someone who seems to fetishize his scar and then do all that with no way of asking for consent while cheating on his actual partner.

And speaking of said partner- my heart broke for Ramiro when he found that sketch of Krester (which was a lovely sketch by the way, I'll give Ángel that much). I know that sinking feeling when you realize your partner's cheated on you all too well, but add to that everything he's done for him and Ángel to be where they are? Even down to murder? I can't express enough how much Ramiro deserves better. He deserves someone who won't ask him to kill someone, someone who won't clearly fantasize about another man, and someone who won't then act on those fantasies. Not to mention the way Ángel spoke to him in the last episode- I'd initially thought that maybe that was sort of a thing between them? Like something Ramiro knew he didn't really mean? But now it's clearly just Ángel being verbally abusive. Yeah, Ramiro deserves so much better.

So I am going to switch topics before I get angry about all of that again, and return briefly to Krester to talk about Ada now. His reaction is so heartbreaking and devastating to watch, the way he was trying to bust that window out even at risk of busting up his own hand, just so Ada's soul would be able to go... oh, that hurt. The way he fell apart in Tove's arms too? It hurts so much. Huge props to Lucas Lynggard Tønnesen for how well he played this. The desperation from Ada's disappearance into the way he sees her and just... immediately walks away to put the window out, almost calm despite the tears, before finally breaking down with Tove is just done with so much nuance and emotion there. Someone please just give him a hug.

And finally... we come back to the overarching mystery. So, the Prometheus just entirely disappeared, and I am more and more thinking this is some sort of simulation, not unlike WandaVision. Daniel is definitely in on it, if not controlling it outright, and I'm so curious about the fact Eyk said the Kerberus has the same device the Prometheus had that Daniel used either to get rid of it or to hide it. Was the Prometheus a simulation as well? I don't know yet what to make of Maura herself having been a passenger on the Prometheus, along with the hairband Eyk found on it from his daughter... I'm just so interested to see if I'm right about it being a simulation, and what else may be going on here- especially the why they're stuck here.

Dahyun x Reader - “Soulmate Forever”

1 HOUR LATER (RIGHT AFTER THE EVENTS OF TTT: SOULMATE - EPISODE 4)

Kim Star arrives at her house after going to the filming of the upcoming season of Soulmate where she took part of.

After she parked the car to the garage, she went to the front door and knocked, waiting for someone to open it for her.

Seconds later, her sister Jisoo volunteered to open it from the inside. She greeted her older sister, who was now standing in front of her, with a colorless and blank expression on her face.

Jisoo: "Dahyun- unnie!!! What's the news? Did you... have...one...", she began to slow down her next words as she noticed that Kim Star, or should I say... Dahyun in her true name; began to lower her head in tandem with Jisoo's pronounciation speed.

She put it into a glass and handed it to her sister, who appears to be drowning her serious thoughts. Jisoo cleared her throat to reawaken her sister to reality.

She followed her sister down the home via the living room area, plumping herself lazily on the couch after gently setting her guitar to the side. Jisoo opened the refrigerator and took a pitchel of water.

She poured it down to a glass and offered it to her sister who looks like drowning herself deep thoughts. Jisoo cleared her throat to wake her sister back up to the reality.

Jisoo: "Would you like to share it still, unnie? I'm listening." Jisoo questioned Dahyun gently.

Dahyun: "I was the only the only one who never got an actual soulmate.", her older sister promptly said. The manner in which she uttered it revealed no emotion.

She took the glass and mouthed a thank you to Jisoo before drinking it, calming herself down with the coldness of the water. Jisoo: "Really? They're too harsh. I'm so sorry, unnie.", Jisoo shared her sympathy for her devastated sister.

Dahyun: "It's fine, Jisoo. I get it. They're all young people anyways, so it was just appropriate for them not to get interested in me who's old enough to join them," Dahyun explained, explaining why she shouldn't want to make her younger sister worry about her any more, but Jisoo isn't buying it.

Jisoo: "Unnie, don't say it like that. Just because you're much older doesn't mean you don't have the rights to get along with young people like them," Jisoo retorted to Dahyun's justification. "You're just curious."

Dahyun: "Yeah, I said it earlier in the interview that I just wanted to know what do they do for fun these days.", she sighed. "So that I could prepare for that someone who'll chose me and use it as an impression. But... I guess I never got one for me.", she got flinched when she felt that one teardrop started to flow down in her cheek.

Jisoo noticed and sat next to Dahyun, pulling her into a close side hug. As a form of comfort, she rested her sisters' heads on her arms and pushed her lower chin to her forehead.

Jisoo: "It's okay, unnie. I don't know what happened, but hearing what you meant, that must've truly hurt on your part," Jisoo murmured, rocking Dahyun's body. "Especially because you're the only one who hasn't had the same ending as them," she continued.

Dahyun: "It does made me realized how unworthy I am to be loved.", she said her thoughts while wiping off the tears staining her face.

Jisoo: "You're not, okay! And we'll show you that you're wrong! You just inserted yourself into a wrong situation not really meant for you, that's why the result didn't go through well.", Jisoo said, spreading positivity to fight back and to vanish away the negatives around Dahyun's head.

"Don't worry, unnie. We'll find another way, okay?" she says as she looks her sister in the eyes. Dahyun saw the motivation and encouragement beaming through the depths of her younger sister's gaze, and all she could do to demonstrate that she saw and felt what Jisoo was attempting to do with her was to react with a nod.

Someone just entered their residence and shut the door, interrupting the two sisters' time. After taking off his shoes and placing his bag on the rack, his brother Taehyung, who had just returned home from work, noticed the drama taking place between her siblings right now.

Taehyung: "Heyyy, good even- Dahyun-noona?! Omo, what happened? Did she got..." Taehyung walked to their front and kneeled to Dahyun, swaying the disordered strands of hair that had been hiding off her eyes and face.

Jisoo: "Sadly, she didn't Tae," Jisoo remarked quietly, showing how much it hurt her to see her sister acting like this again. A woman who can't stop chasing something in this world in order to finally acquire love attention from anyone she's typing with.

Taehyung: "Oh shoot. I'm sorry, noona." Taehyung reacts surprisingly and apologizes in pity for her sister. "At least you tried," he remarked, a bittersweet smile on his face.

Dahyun: "You're right.", when Taehyung held her older sister's hand and comfortably massaged her palm with his thumb, Dahyun nodded and smiled faintly like his too.

Jisoo: "And that's why we'll keep trying till we succeed, you know! Don't give up, unnie!" Jisoo exclaimed, trying to make it contagious for Dahyun to take it as well.

Taehyung: "Jisoo is right, noona! You'll find the destined someone for you to be with one day!", Taehyung joins Jisoo's encouragement plan, smiling happily for Dahyun despite everything she had gone through, she still resolves to keep going and regaining hopes every time.

Dahyun: "I truly hope so.... but how? I don't have anything in mind honestly, I don't want to embarrass myself again by joining reali-," Dahyun was about to conclude when Jisoo cut her off and corrected her.

Jisoo: "No, we don't gonna do that anymore if you aren't comfortable doing it noona don't worry.", Jisoo said as she waved it off away by her hands.

Dahyun:"Okay... then what should we-" she was interrupted once more, but this time by her brother.

Taehyung: "I HAVE AN IDEA!", Taehyung exclaimed, raising up his index finger to the air as a gesture that his brilliant mind shined bright to come up with an idea.

Jisoo: "Oh okay, what is it oppa?", Jisoo questioned him.

Taehyung: "We should try setting you up to a blind date, noona!", he said, snapping his fingers loudly. Jisoo had her eyebrows raised in amaze while Dahyun's just furrowed in confusion.

Dahyun: "Blind date- wait what is that? A date with who?", she looked at Jisoo and Taehyung back and forth.

Jisoo: "Exactly. That's the point, unnie.", her grin started to grew wider.

Dahyun: "Huh?"

Jisoo: "You won't know who this is, unnie." Jisoo sought to explain the definition and purpose of the "blind date" to her in a straightforward way. "You have to get to know that unknown person instead once you meet, to test if you two can link together, thus a blind date," she remarked, spreading her arms in triumph that she had succeeded to enlighten her sister about the subject Taehyung had inserted.

Dahyun: "Ahh okay. Isn't that a little creepy?" remarked Dahyun, anxiously stroking her nape. "I mean... what if that person could do-"

Taehyung: "No worries, unnie," Taehyung said, patting the top of Dahyun's hand to relieve her tension. "I know what I'm going to pick; all you have to do is believe me," he said with a smile.

Jisoo: "Wait, you already someone in mind?", she asked Taehyung.

Taehyung: "Yup, all I have to do is to contact him and get his confirmation if he'll participate with this.", he said as he made a gesture of taking a "phone call" while having the image of the man he already planning to choose for her older sister.

Dahyun: "He? Oh, so I'm going to date a man this time?" Dahyun asked, surprised. Being on a date with a man isn't really a big deal to her... since she is bisexual, but she was just getting used to it because it was her first time doing something like this. She reasoned that at her age, this was no longer appropriate for her.

Taehyung: "Yup.", he nodded.

"But first, let us know yours unnie. Are you in with this?", he asked Dahyun, aiming for the jackpot answer he wants to hear.

Dahyun stared at her siblings again, then remembered every single failed attempt at impressing and getting other people fall in love with her.

She was nearly at this close of giving up, but thanks to the never say die spirit of her siblings that they possess, she had no other choice but to be like them too.

When they do that, it's as if all they want for her is to be ultimately happy, to be in love with someone else who she can stay by and live with till the end.

She knows that her siblings also has their own personal life now with their own family, and all they're just trying to do is for her to be same as them. It was heart fluttering for her to feel that she really was not alone at this fight and her siblings will never gonna let her be like that forever. They don't want Dahyun to be left behind out of them three.

Dahyun: "You two are the only loved ones I have in my life, and we all sticked together for how many years already. Yes, Taehyung. I trust you two for this one. I guess... I should take another try while it's not too late.", she chuckled as she finally shared her decision after a few minutes of making up her mind.

Jisoo: "Yes! I can't wait for this, it's your chance again, unnie!" said Jisoo, pleased that her sister had made the right decision.

Dahyun: "What if I.... fail again though?", she wondered, overthinking the potential consequences of accepting the blind date.

Taehyung: "In my perspective, the possibility might be low for that to occur, unnie.", he shook his head to deny.

Dahyun: "And why's that?", Dahyun curiously asked.

Taehyung: "You'll see.", he slowly stood up and gave a pat to Dahyun's crown before saying his appreciation for having his suggestion get approved by her older sister. It was a relief that he and Jisoo still somehow managed to keep the hopes up for their sister on finally getting a lovelife.

Taehyung then instructed his sisters that he bought a dinner for them three and they can start to eat already if they are already hungry as he made his way first upstairs to dial a number and start a call with the man he has on his mind to pick as his sister's date.

-2 DAYS LATER-

Dahyun spent most of her time yesterday going shopping with her sister Jisoo.

They bought some new clothes and chose one for Dahyun to wear today to make herself appealing and certainly pleasing to the eyes of others.

They also proceeded to a salon, where Dahyun had her hair bleached black, concealing the white strands that showed her age.

Jisoo then also suggested for them to buy some make-up as she will try something to her sister to make her really look gorgeous at tonight's date.

Right now, she went true to it and thanks to her Dahyun is looking just like her younger self back from the days again.

The car stopped in front of a fancy looking restaurant down the streets of Seoul where most buildings are standing in place all around it.

Jisoo: "Here's your spot, unnie.", she said, looking at her older sister. She saw Dahyun isn't answering and is simply staring at her hands on top of her lap.

Jisoo: "Unnie, is there something wrong?", she said in a concerning tone.

Dahyun shaked her head in denial. "Nothing, it's just... I- I'm nervous.", she sighed, her hands are quite trembling. "This is my first time doing this. I don't even know if I'll do great..."

Jisoo then took the opportunity to hold her sister's hands and calm her down. "Hey, unnie. Look and listen at me.", Dahyun followed, interconnecting her own pair of eyes to Jisoo's. "You will be fine okay? Just follow what me and Taehyung oppa adviced to you. Try to have a good time with him. Make up some nice topics to talk with and if you got something that will make you both drown in interest with it then continue the flow.", she adviced.

" Remember, you got some more freedom to be yourself with this one... because that man you'll be spending a dinner with isn't in young days anymore too. So, don't be nervous unnie okay? He has some good humor too, like what Taehyung oppa said right?", she added.

Dahyun: "Y-yeah.", she nodded her head as she got Jisoo's point. "O-okay, thanks with this Jisoo. I really do hope this is the right moment for me to find my soulmate.", she smiled, a bit bigger than the one she showed earlier.

Jisoo: "Same as I, unnie. Me and Tae are here always to support you.", she patted Dahyun's shoulder. " We will do everything just for you not to be left out from us anymore. You needed someone to love too, unnie just like us.", she paused for a while before continuing to her last words, which made Dahyun's heart melt the exact same feeling as what her thought came up to her mind just like this.

"You can't be alone forever, unnie."

Dahyun: "Aigoo, stop you're going to make my heart explode, Jisoo," Dahyun said as she smacked Jisoo's arm and laughed. Jisoo also chuckled at that action. "I still need to limit myself because what if the man I'll see there later does the same?" she finally said as she gazed out the car window, where the restaurant could be seen from the outside.

Jisoo: "HAHAHAH okay sorry. Looks like someone is ready now, huh.", she smirked.

Dahyun: "And thanks to you, again.", she smiled. "Wait, how do I look?", she asked then moved her hands as if she's presenting herself wearing the outfit they picked on their shopping yesterday, which was a peony printed red and white mini dress that perfectly encapsulates her hourglass curvy body.

Jisoo: "How many times have I said this, unnie? You look like a star tonight, Kim Star." She spit out the last syllables humorously, mocking her older sister on the way she pronounces her nickname every time she mentions it.

Dahyun: "Wow, I really like that you know?", she laughed hard.

Jisoo: "Aish, what are you waiting for, Dubu? Get out and have a great night with him!", she forcefully pushed Dahyun, making the older open the door while Jisoo escorts her.

She finally steps out of the car and before finally closing the door, she gave one last hug to Jisoo again as her show of respect and gratitude to her help.

Jisoo smiled before nodding and mouthing her a "good luck" message before driving away, leaving her all along to face this situation she's about to have tonight.

She entered the restaurant and went forward to the receptionist booth to ask her concern.

Receptionist: "Hello and good evening, ma'am! Welcome to Feel Special restaurant! How may we assist you?"

Dahyun: "A-ahh... good evening. I'm here for the reservation named to Mr. Kim Taehyung."

Receptionist: "Okay, maam. Wait a second and we will search it.", she then proceeded to type something on her computer. A result showed up that made her face enlargened in realization. "Oh, I see. You're good to go maam. Follow me and I'll lead you to your table maam."

Dahyun: "T-Thank you, young lady.", they both bowed at each other. The receptionist left her booth for a second and led Dahyun to her table that's been already taken for her by her brother Taehyung.

Dahyun sat at the chair and wondered where could be her date now since she was quite surprised that he isn't here yet.

After 10 minutes of patiently waiting, while she's drinking a glass of water; a man suddenly approached in front of her that effectively grabbed her attention.

???: "Excuse me miss, uhm do you have someone with you on this table?", he shyly asked Dahyun.

Dahyun's gaze wandered all over the man's body, as his appearance is quite compelling and breathtaking. His gray colored vest with a white polo inside, gray colored pants underneath, and black gleaming shoes are enough to make the man look even more elegant than before.

Not to mention that the man is quite attractive. Well-shaved beard and nearly neatly styled hair. If his goal was to impress women tonight, he would have easily won already.

Dahyun: "N-no, only me.", she said, her awe at the man's look made her stutter more.

???: "Oh... so, are you perhaps Kim Dahyun?", he said and the mention of her name made Dahyun gape his mouth in shock.

In a quick second, it made her confirm already that this man was actually the one she supposed to meet and have a date for tonight, which was very unexpected to her that she'll have to eat alone with a very great-looking man in one table.

Dahyun:" Y-yes, i- it's me. Wait, you're for this table too?"

???: "Yeah, my reserved table is also here.", he said, chuckling sheepishly. "Oh, I should introduce myself too. I am Baek Whansoo. Nice to meet you, Dahyun.", you smiled at her and offered your hand for a handshake as a friendly gesture.

In truth, you were growing nervous as well, because you were exactly like Dahyun tonight. You were awestruck by her beauty, and it was incredible that you had earned the opportunity to meet a woman like Dahyun.

You made a mental note to thank Taehyung for placing him in this situation.

Dahyun: "Nice to meet you too.", she smiled brightly. You can't help but reciprocate since how could you ignore that kind of smile she offered her, especially when it came from such a wonderful woman as her?

"Here, have a seat."

Whansoo: "Oh, thank you.", you laughed shyly, finally taking the chair with you now facing Dahyun. "So I suppose you are the one who got set up by Taehyung for a date with me then.", you said, allowing each other to finally start a conversation together.

Dahyun: "Yeah, I thought so too," Dahyun remarked, "My brother really kept it unpredictable and clueless for me, respecting the objective of the blind date."

Whansoo: "Oh, so you are Taehyung's sister huh.", you pointed at her, shocked at the reveal that she is very related to Taehyung since they share the same blood.

Possessing an ethereal beauty really runs to their family's genes, you thought.

"Younger or older?"

Dahyun: "Older. First child. Tae was second. We are three actually, her name is Jisoo.", she said, introducing also her third sibling to you which was familiar to you since the name she mentioned was really famous as a singer and actress.

Whansoo: "Wait, the Kim Jisoo? The famous singer from YG and a former member of BLACKPINK?", you said, gasping in surprise.

Dahyun: "Yep. They sure really are famous.", she said, referring to her siblings Taehyung and Jisoo's idol careers.

Whansoo: "Well, I do worked for their company some times before.", you said. "I participated once for their group's album."

Dahyun: "Oh? Really? What's your job?"

Whansoo: "I'm a composer and lyricist. Currently working mostly for your brother.", you said, starting to share some bits of information about yourself.

Dahyun: "Jinjja? Wow, now that explains why you are just one call away from my brother.", she muttered.

Whansoo: "He said that?", you asked. You then laughed after as it was just hilarious to you how it made you get mentioned once by Taehyung while he talks with his family.

"HAHAHAHA well it's true anyways.", you laughed which she joined you too. It got interrupted for a while when the waiter started to take you and Dahyun's order.

After giving each other's preferred food for tonight's dinner, the waiter walks back to his respective spot; leaving you two to let each other's conversation be continued.

"Oh what's yours? Do you have one?"

Dahyun: "Yes, I'm actually working as a trainer in a musical workshop.", she nodded; now sharing some additional backgrounds to her personal life. "I mostly teach instruments like guitar and piano but I do sing as well."

Whansoo: "Wow, so both of us do have interests in music then.", you said after taking a sip from your glass of water.

Dahyun: "Yeah, that makes this a date between two fellow musicians huh?", she chuckled.

Whansoo: "You're right.", you pursed your lower lip, nodded, and hummed in delight. "Oh by the way, are you the Kim Star who participated in the variety show called Soulmates? You do remind me of her so much.", you asked her, because actually you were asking this to yourself just a while ago right after you glanced at her face.

She was recognizable already to your eyes, you just can't figure it out if what's on your minda was true; so you had to finally asked it by yourself to her.

Dahyun: "That's me.", she said awkwardly. "Kim Star was my... you know, the name mostly everyone I know was calling me because they know I do am an aspiring celebrity.", she said shyly while pointing at herself, finally confirming your guess that she really is the Kim Star you saw from the TV.

"God, I feel embarassed by saying this."

Whansoo:"Oh wow, yeah, I heard that from you on one of the episodes," you said. "And please, don't be; I can relate to you, Dahyun; in fact, I have my own moniker as well... but it was made by my supporters from Taehyung's fandom," you explained.

"They call me "Baek Once" or simply "Once" since my name and that word kind of sounds the same plus because of my work of music for Taehyung being famous for its "already catchy at one time listen" magic of greatness I contribute to it. ", Dahyun lets out an amazed reaction.

"Sorry, I didn't intend to brag about it that much. I continue to believe that I am not as good as everyone claims I am. "I'm just doing what I'm supposed to do," you chuckled softly.

Dahyun: "No, it's fine. Don't worry about it, Whansoo.", she lets it aside and smiled at you in ensurance along with her likeness of your humble personality.

Whansoo: "Wow, seriously you look a little less recognizable compared to your appearance at the show. You seemed to look more... beautiful tonight, if I may say.", you said your opinion.

Dahyun: "T-thank you.", she smiled cheekily. Your compliment made her heart bloom.

Whansoo: "You're welcome.", you smiled back, proudly. You have to since what you said was very true anyways.

The waiter arrives with your orders. Both you and Dahyun thanked him before proceeding to eat.

Whansoo: "Let's enjoy our food!" you exclaimed, lowering your heads in admiration. "So, going back, uhm, I know the outcome you received there was painful and disappointing, even though you're trying to mask it in a funny way," you stated sympathetically. You were also trying to be cautious because you didn't want to hurt her feelings, but all you wanted to do was cheer her up about it, which is why you were prepared with what you would say next if she reacted coldly.

"But hey, do you know that I was really rooting for you there?", you said. Her smile was ready to start shrinking but it got quickly prevented when she heard it.

Dahyun: "You do?"

Whansoo: "Yeah, I don't know, but there's something about you that made me sincerely interested in you for me to manifest for you that you'll obtain the soulmate you desire to have in the end... but unfortunately, it didn't happen," you clucked your tongue in disappointment with the result. "I gotta be honest, that part when you just acknowledged your guitar as your own "soulmate" was cute, but cmon you deserved better than that."

"Well, I mean it's also kind of relief that you didn't ended up on any of them, especially that Nature Son and Myoree.", you rolled your eyes while sighing in relief.

Dahyun: "Eh? How could you say that? Do you hate them?", she asked in confusion, furrowing her eyebrows.

Whansoo: "Uhh kinda? I just think they act red flaggy throughout the episodes," you laughed shyly. Dahyun simply exclaims "oh" before laughing at your assessment of them.

"It's better that they ended up together; they get along well," you continued to laugh.

Dahyun: "I mean... I ain't gonna lie but you're right about that.", she said between her laughter. "I had my slight thoughts about it too when I was with them.", she nodded her head.

Whansoo: "But do you know that there's another reason why I'm happy that you didn't got picked there?"

Dahyun: "Why?"

Whansoo: "It's because if it wasn't for that, I would never get the chance to be here, having a date with you.", you said genuinely, making Dahyun stare at you, secretly growing to respect you even more, not just your looks but the way your personality matches them wonderfully.

"To be honest, Dahyun... I really want to get to know you more, and I guess it's easier to do so now that I've gotten close to you for me to say this.", you finally found the guts to tell her about this. "Do you think the same way I do?" you cautiously asked.

Dahyun: "Y-yes, of course, I truly want to be closer with you more, Whansoo," Dahyun said, making you grin. "I honestly think you're such a good person, and my first impressions of you have all been great so far, so yes, I really want to see how you'll be acting more attractingly as time goes by," she shyly stated, her heartfelt words just adding to her beauty and admirability in your eyes.

"Mind if I ask, since you know my reason why I want to find my soulmate... what about yours?", she curiously asked you.

Whansoo: "I simply don't want to be lonely, that's all," you stated flatly, oblivious to the fact that both of you have the same reason, only it's she that hasn't mentioned it to you.

"Everyone special in my life now has their own lives with their own loved ones, and even though I fail multiple times because I just don't meet that standard that every woman I've met before, there's still some light I'm seeing... and that is a hope that someday, I'll finally succeed and I'll finally get the right one for me to live with for the rest of my remaining time in this world."

"Now that I have another one again for me to try, and that's you Ms. Kim Dahyun... Dahyun was just speechless at everything you said, but there's one thing very clear for her... and that is she has to repay you the same thing you want to give her too because in simple words, she wants it too.

Your date with her has come to an end. You offered her a ride home, which she gladly accepted. You didn't force her, but you wanted to persuade her to accept it since you only wanted to secure her safety, and that was enough for her to trust you enough to join you.

Whansoo: "We're at your place, Dahyun.", you said as you stopped in front of her house. She looked outside a gave a nod to you, confirming that this is really her place where she lives in.

You went out first so that you can escort opening the door yourself for Dahyun. She stepped out after and now both of you facing together.

"I suppose this is a goodbye for now." Thank you so much for such a wonderful evening to have with you.", you said.

Dahyun: "Same as you, Whansoo. It's really nice to meet you.", she smiled back at you.

Whansoo: "Send Taehyung my greetings okay?", you pointed your thumb towards her house.

Dahyun: "Okay.", she nodded. "Wait! Before you go, I have to tell you something.", she said while grasping her bag nervously.

Whansoo: "Hmm what is it?"

Dahyun: "What you said a while ago, I just want to say that I deeply felt it all.", she said, talking about your fluttering message you gave to her during your date with her few minutes ago. "The sincerity and the dedication of it. It made me really be sure that I... will be very glad to be on your side, Whansoo."

"So... since I am actually seeing you as my s-soulmate too because of the same interest we share, it won't be a bother for me to have you trying to impress me more and make me allow us to uhh... try stepping onto the next level of our fondness.", she said it as her other way to tell you that she's letting you finally start every slick moves you got to capture and own her heart.

Whansoo: "That certainly made me incredibly happy to hear that, Dahyun," you added, your broad grin indicating how true you are.

Without wasting more time, you pulled her close to you and enwrap her into a comfortable hug, you shut your eyes at how it feels so good to have her in your arms. The thought of having a chance that you might get more of this from her when you succeed at your mission makes you even more motivated and energized to accomplish this.

"Thank you so much. I'll do my best for you!"

Dahyun: "I know.", she chuckled heartwarmingly. "Good night, Whansoo!", she said after you let go from her.

Whansoo: "Good night to you too, Dahyun!", you bid your goodbye and wished her on this end of the day you had with her. You gave one last farewell wave at her before entering your car and drive away to your own place.

She just followed your car slowly vanishing from her eyes the more it goes farther from her direction. After having an unconscious wide smile and a racing heartbeat on her chest, she got taken aback when Jisoo hastily opened the door and ran to her.

Jisoo: Unnie? What was that?! What did I just saw?!", she shouted aggressively in excitement.

Dahyun just nodded back at her while still keeping the large smile in her face. Her cheek gone beet red even more as she blushed intensely at her sister's teasing when Jisoo showed her phone to her, containing a captured picture of you and Dahyun hugging together while Jisoo was witnessing that sweet moment in her eyes from the window.

Jisoo: "OMOOOO!!! CMON UNNIE, TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED QUICKKK!!!", she said as she pulled Dahyun with her on the way inside the house for them to talk about the date.

- 4 MONTHS LATER -

Dahyun: "Where are we, Whansoo?", she asked you very confusedly while continuing to just keeping following you from her hold onto your hand. You just chuckled at how she's so clueless at what's happening around her and what are you trying to do with her tonight.

Whansoo: "All right, Dub, you can take off the blindfold now," you said, finally letting her to see.

Dahyun then takes out the blindfold wrapped around her head that's been covering her eyes and blocking her entire sight. She blinks her eyes a couple times before regaining het gision as she realizes that you two are in park of the side of Han River, which is where you two officially became a couple.

After weeks of spending with doing your usual daily life, which was added with the task of courting her every time you and her meet; you finally had been able to reach the goal you've been aiming for... and that is by her informing you that you successfully made her yours and become your girlfriend.

She did that at the exact same place where both of you are standing right now. You and her took a visit here 2 months ago where she made both of you officially be a couple together.

Dahyun: "Oh, we are really in Han River.", she said while taking a look around the park, where quite a lot of people still doing their own way of having fun and relaxation in this place. "The sound of the waves and this familiar sense of touch i'm getting with how the fresh wind here strikes my skin.", she said while caressing her arm.

Whansoo: "I didn't expected it to be quite stronger and louder tonight.", you said, agreeing to her. "But anyways, yes we are here!"

Dahyun: "So what is your plan and why did you bring us here?", she asked you.

Whansoo: "Something about... changes.", you said, smiling at her while you two started to take a walk together; with your arm curled around her waist. "Well do you remember what's our very special memory we made here?"

Dahyun: "Yes. This is where I... gladly accepted your offer to become your girlfriend, right?", she told you, smiling at that most glorious memory you've ever made with her so far. "One of the reasons why I turned to love going to this place.", she grinned, showing off her shining white perfect set of teeth.

Whansoo: "Same, but I don't want to go here alone... I much prefer to be with the one I shared that moment with.", you looked at her with your loving eyes and that soft smile she always love to see through you. "Especially that's what am I really planning for tonight is something really intended for you to be here."

Dahyun: "Aishhh you're increasing my curiousity, Whansoo!", she said, gripping your arm tightly and playfully tugging it. "My heart is beating fast at many feelings. Cmon, tell me what is it?"

Whansoo: "Okay, here I reveal it to you.", you stopped at your tracks, making her to do the same too as she faced you. "I'm actually more nervous than you do but I guess I have no other choice but to do this now that we are finally here.", you shrugged.

"So uhm, Dahyun. You do know how I cherish you the most out of everything.", you said, making her plant her hand on her chest getting thumped by the fast speed of her heartbeats as she felt butterflies all over her stomach again as you do this same thing that makes her adore you more.

"Ever since we started our story together back at our blind date months ago, I couldn't help but to let myself fall in love with you even more after seeing you in personal and not from the TV where you first caught my eyes on you."

"That's why when I said some of those words to you back then on what I wanted to do was very sincere, and I'm glad that I do had an opportunity to use it on making you mine... which successfully I did.", you said it proudly. You grabbed her soft little smooth hands and looked at her who's smiling sweetly at your speech and your action.

"But, thinking about the future where possibilities are also occuring... I just have this one question where I really wanting to find out if you'll do still do the same as what you did that made us start becoming as a couple...", you started to pull out something from your back pocket of your pants, and what you pulled out made her hands cover her mouth in shock as tears started to flow out from her eyes.

You kneeled in front of her which attracted many people's attention around you, now they're all watching you as a random stranger and a man who's about to do something very magical and spectacular for her lover tonight.

"Kim Dahyun, my love... my life... my lady is the shining light , you do know that you're the only one I want to share the rest of my life with.", you started to sniff, as your emotions are starting to take over too as you look at Dahyun who's crying anticipatingly at what this will lead to. "Whenever I look at you, all I could see was the reflections and hints of what life we could be having together... and all I could say was it will be maintained strong and joyful as long as we have each other.", your trembling lips smiled softly for her.

"To make it happen, I need to ask you this one question that will serve as the key for all of it. I've been dying to know what would be your answer.", you opened the box and it revealed a sparkling diamond wedding ring laid on a cotton layer inside.

Dahyun: "Whansoo...", she whispered your name, still in disbelief that you're doing this unexpectedly where she once thought to herself before she met you that she'll never get a chance to experience this kind of moment you two are having right now.

Whansoo: "Kim Dahyun, will you marry me and be my soulmate forever?", you finally asked the most important question of them all which Dahyun has been waiting for you to end all your heart fluttering speech and say it right front of her.

Dahyun: "Y- yes! YES I DO WANT TO MARRY YOU, ONCE!", she exclaimed her answer to you with pure energy as she made it clear already that she's ready to make herself be your wife and start a family with you in the near future.

With overflowing amount of joy filling in your body, you quickly hugged Dahyun very tightly and slowly raised her up where her feet is just inches away from the ground now. You started spinning around while carrying her as you shouted in joy, enough to make the audience around you hear it loud and clear.

Whansoo: "YESSSS!!!! SHE SAID YES EVERYONEEEE!!! ", you shouted and it made the people watching you both cheer in happiness. Some were giving their congratulations and best wishes, some were clapping their hands and some are recording this wonderful moment you're having with Dahyun.

- 1 YEAR LATER-

Jisoo: "Wait, unnie I'll take this.", Jisoo said as she excused herself for a second after hearing some knocks from the door that made her pause from helping the other stylists prepare her sister for today's special event.

Jisoo opens the door, revealing 8 girls with Taehyung standing with them on the side.

Jisoo: "Uhh hello, who are these, oppa?", she said while pointing them as she looked to her brother who's obvious that he knows what's going on.

Taehyung: "Some acquaintances noona had before.", he simply replied. Dahyun then turned her head to the door after being free from the stylist's busy fixing of her hair. Her eyes enlargened when she recognized the girls very quickly when she saw them along with you, Jisoo and Taehyung.

Dahyun: "W-wait... is that really you girls?", she blurted in surprise.

All eight females reacted to her in unison. "HIIIII KIM STARRRRRRRR!!!"

It was so loud that their voice echoed throughout the entire make-up area and could definitely be heard from outside.

Dahyun: "Aish, it is really them.", she said while shaking head as a wide smile grew on her red lipstick covered lips.

Sha Rich: "AAAAAHHHH Congrats on the wedding!!!", one of the girls who participated with Dahyun last year on another season of Soulmate: the daddy's girl and richest among them all named Sha Rich, as she went quickly towards her and gave her a back hug.

Yoo Beep Beep: "I knew it that you'll get your own happy ending too.", said Yoo Beep Beep. She's the idol who made her debut on the show before. She stood behind Sha Rich and clapped few times for the bride. "We are so happy for you, Dahyun- unnie."

Dr. Jyo: "We won't gonna lie, it surely does feels so good to have our reunion today.", said Dr. Jyo, the woman who has a doctor occupation based from her introduction about herself on the show before.

"Not to mention, it's also happening at your special event, unnie.", she smiled smugly.

Dahyun: "Yes and really I'm glad to see all of you young beautiful ladies again.", she said as she patted Sha Rich's head and turned her chair around to face the rest of the girls to give them all a warm appreciating smile. "It's been a year has it? Well, even though it was a bittersweet for me on what happened to me at our last meeting, I must say that I still did missed all of you.", she sighed after she admits the truth about it.

"I hope, with you girls... can help me still relive back and feel once again the young energy."

Teacher Tzu: "Don't worry, unnie. We are all here for you from now on!", said Teacher Tzu who's the one that works as a pet shop owner, trainer and a volunteer who takes care of animals. Tzu gave Dahyun both thumbs up while she said it.

Lim Sailor: "Oh by the way, since we now know your real name Kim Star... I guess it's a shame that we should reveal ours too right?", the accountant named Lim Sailor said, instructing others to do also what she said.

They did started to reveal their real life names that has never been mentioned on the show before as a way to protect their identities at that time.

Dahyun learned that Lim Sailor's real name is Im Nayeon, Yoo Beep Beep is Yoo Jeongyeon's stage name, Mobeom is Hirai Momo, Sha Rich is Minatozaki Sana, Dr. Jyo is Park Jihyo, Myoree is Myoui Mina, Nature Son is Son Chaeyoung and Teacher Tzu is Chou Tzuyu.

Mobeom, Sha Rich, Myoree and Tzu were all foreigners, with Tzu being Taiwanese while the other three are all Japanese. Finally getting to know their true identities too, Dahyun felt amazed and honored by it.

Dahyun: "How did you all get to be able to attend ay my wedding today? Don't you all have some important things to do?", she worriedly asked.

Sana: "We actually are but we managed to save it all for later because clearly your soon to be husband really did a great job on making it really look like a must attend special event.", Sana said, chuckling as she remembered what happened that led her and all the girls here in Dahyun's wedding today.

Dahyun: "Wait, he contacted all of you?", she said shockingly.

Taehyung: "Only Sana actually.", Taehyung volunteered to explain it in behalf of you and Sana. "Whansoo told me that he is friends with one of the higher ups in her father's company, TDOONG Entertainment and one day when he got to attend their company's anniversary party, he used it as a chance to meet Sana and give her the invitation then asked her too if she still have contacts with the rest.", he narrated.

"Thankfully she does so yeah, that's where he gave them the rest too."

Dahyun: "I should say thank you to Whansoo for this then.", she laughed while feeling very grateful. "If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be able to meet them again.", she said as she looked back again at the girls who suddenly trapped her in a group hug right after.

- 5 HOURS LATER -

It's been 5 hours later. The wedding along with the reception has now ended. You and Dahyun were officially got married and now declared to be husband and wife officially, sealing it with a vow and a passionate kiss that made the entire guests erupt in cheers and applauses.

As both of you were now allowed to spend your time alone together and celebrate the successful marriage you two just had, you decided to proceed first with your surprise again for her.

Dahyun: "Whansoo, why did we stopped?", she said as she felt the car just stopped moving.

Whansoo: "Follow me.", you opened the door and carefully helped her step out since she can't see where she's going to because of her eyes now being covered once again with a blindfold and also she might trip from her huge wedding gown she's wearing.

After both of you exit the car and left it for a while, you led her with you to went in front of a closed place. You took a key and inserted it on the keyhole to open the door.

You removed the blindfold away from Dahyun's head before both of you were about to head inside. Dahyun regained her vision and asked you.

Dahyun: "What is this place?"

Whansoo: "Take a look for yourself.", you gave her the way inside and she followed. Dahyun entered and she gasped when she saw a newly designed room with some instruments placed very organized all around along with a office table and chair with it.

Whansoo: "Do you like it?", you asked her while leaning your shoulder on the wall while crossing your arms, watching your wife roam around the room in amaze.

Dahyun: "I d-do.", she replied while feeling the texture of her beloved guitar hanged nicely on the wall.

You walked towards her and hugged her from behind as you laid your head just right at the crook of your neck.

Whansoo: "You are free to use it all, don't worry. These are all ours anyway."

Dahyun: "Wait what did you say?", she asked, furrowing her eyebrows as she's expressing disbelief to you.

Whansoo: "This studio we're in now? I bought it for us," Whansoo replied, looking around the room. You were relieved that you were able to purchase this property for the two of you because you thought that you could turn it for both of you to require it, especially since Dahyun is now working at Taehyung's entertainment agency alongside you.

You helped her realize her dream of becoming well-known in the public eye. She made her debut by collaborating with you on Taehyung's recently released track. It was largely favorably received and praised, as expected. That is why Dahyun was gradually recognized when they noticed her unfamiliar stage name being added as part of the team behind Taehyung's song and when they also learnt that she is your wife.

"Soooo... it means this new studio is exclusively only made for just you and I where we can you know, both produce music together since this is our number one hobby and favorite.", you said, smiling.

Dahyun: "I don't know what to say but I'm pretty sure that I do really love this so much, Whansoo.", she said, turning her body around and wrap her arms around your neck as she looked at you very closely.

Whansoo: "No. Don't call me that.", you shook your head. "Starting from now, everytime we step here... it is me as Once and you as Kim Star together, okay?", you reminded her.

Dahyun: "Okay.", she nodded in response.

Whansoo: "As much as I would love for us to stay here for a while, we must go now. We still have some honeymoon to celebrate, honey.", you smirked at her as your thoughts are going wild on how you're gonna make your night with Dahyun even more fun. She just laughed while blushing intensely at your seductive gaze.

Dahyun: "I love you so much, Whansoo.", she said as she gave you a quick peck of a kiss to your lips and smiled.

Whansoo: "And I love you more, Dahyun.", you smiled back at her before both of you leave the studio and drive away back to your house to finally start celebrating with her before getting some proper rest to end the night.

ok im just gonna write a bunch of my disorganised thoughts on the new doctor who episode the star beast. enjoy. or dont.

story wise it was very enjoyable. all the characters were written like actual people (cough cough chris chibnall) and i really enjoyed watching it. the twist of the meep being evil was (at least in who circles) pretty well known so having the rose metacrisis twist too was really effective (even though i totally guessed it would happen (shower oracle)).

and before i get into what i didnt like im just going to say im not like siding with the you know twitter users youtube "reviewers" called like The Neckbeard Skeptic or something when it comes to this stuff. i thought the inclusion of rose as a trans character was a really good way to start the new era as a kind of warning to those kinds of people that they really wont enjoy it.

but with the representation came a couple lines which just struck me as.. off. the first was definitely rose basically calling the doctor out for assuming the meep is he/him. and like yeah thats a valid criticism to make. but if i were writing this episode i would absolutely not get the trans person to say that. it comes across as playing into the "did you just assume [the meep's] pronouns??" transphobic stereotype but i think knowing how many people would get mad at this i am fine with the line overall.

the next line was the line "binary binary / nonbinary" bit. i think its a cool callback and another neat way of pissing off the right people but honestly back in s4 that binary binary bit was a really devastating moment as you see the doctor's face and the music kicks in. playing off that moment as like a kind of gag just seems kinda messed up to me.

and the last one was the "male presenting time lord" thing. just seems like a twitterised version of feminism and the messages behind it. feminism is meant to be a deconstruction of gender as a social construct and its effects in society which manifest as eg the patriarchy. feminism is not when you go "you look like a man therefore youre bad". thats not feminism. in s4 this was explained as time lords "lacking that little bit of human" which i think just kinda makes more sense tbh.

i imagine this is kind of what it wouldve been like seeing series 1 back in 2005 and maybe back then jack harkness looked over the top or the whole thing felt in-your-face. maybe 18 years from now ill look back at this and think "wow. i thought that was a lot?" and i really hope so. but for now i just hope this was over the top to get rid of all the bigots before doctor who (2023-) REALLY begins.

anyway enough of the criticisms that make me sound like a 2017 anti sjw. i think donna and rose just being able to "get rid" of the metacrisis by just "letting it go" is honestly kind of stupid. i was expecting a lot more of a destiny plotline across the 3 specials that probably ended in donna about to die forever but only then the metacrisis is stopped or something (and i think the slower metacrisis could have explained this). but nope there it goes done and dusted in the first special. its not the direction i wouldve taken but its fine i suppose. im not the award winning writer here.

next its literally never explained where the doctors sonic comes from. he just kinda. has it. and thats fine i guess stuff happens sometimes but like. why is this sonic completely overpowered? a big criticism of the chibnall era was that the doctor was constantly just scanning stuff and going "hm yep blah blah" and instead of going back to the sonic being an occasional tool, its now able to create screens and forcefields and. what. but fine. whatever.

but now. big question. why does the tardis interior change? it didnt go up in flames or anything like in s5/s11 nor was the doctor feeling a change like in s7/s8. it just changes. but i guess the tardis was feeling like it or whatever. now the real controversial take. i dont really like the new interior. its just completely white. i know the original tardis interiors looked like that but it looks so plain. it looks like they only had that much built when they filmed it and hadnt finished. the lights make me like it more but it just seems kinda gimmicky tbh. im sure itll grow on me over time (or be changed in the ncuti era? pls).

anyway. i still really enjoyed the episode and i cannot wait for wild blue yonder (this has been the mystery episode for like over a year now) and the 2 more specials and 2 more series to come. doctor who is Going Places and id much rather those places be cheesy pronoun stuff than have bigots around the dw community.

bashir and obrien time. i like their dynamic. theyre a fun duo. again, half the fun is that obrien doesnt like him all that much and bashir is at best ambivalent to that fact or at worst completely obvlious.

im familiar with the summary of this episode and even with that knowledge i dont quite know where this is going

like. okay. he goes 'all the information must be destroyed' and thats going to involve memory of this incident, which is going to cause. problems? because itll also remove all memories of this cooperation, i assume. is that where we're going? are they gonna kidnap my boys as part of this.
