Fun Yuri-centric fic idea

Well, fun for me, not for Yuri.

Basically set sometime after S1 i suppose, pre S2's events or some filler during S2.

Idk why they would, but some villain decides to take Mr Legend's deeply buried history, and blast it throughout Stern Bild.

The abuse, the fixed fights, the fake interviews, all of it, get exposed to broad public. The fallout is huge, and I think it'd be cool if the heroes were forced to stick in close proximity to Yuri and his mother, maybe the villain is out to kill him and he requires protection?

There's an underlying fear about Lunatic's id being revealed, but it won't happen in story. This is more about siccing the stress about all this baggage out in the open onto Yuri (Can you imagine? People whispering abt Yuri being Mr Legend's son???), shocking every admirer of Mr Legend and so forth, all whilst Yuri is unable to hide away too much from the prying eyes of the hero-bodyguards he has.

Fun fun fun premise, terrible for Yuri, but fun nonetheless sldjfngsdg

Is there going to be a Mature server or room on Discord? I’d love to post more art but don’t want to blast the innocents.

there are talks in the coming months with the other producers of what exactly to do with and how to fiddle with the discord as we wrangle our resources and figure out what our next season looks like and when production begins again.

(so yeah maybe we don’t know yet but we are looking into it, it comes down to finding a way to pay the mods and also get additional mods? a lot of the show is held together with popsicle sticks and gum but we’re getting the new parts in soon)

Gammamon's relationship with spicy food

In his time in the human world Gammamon's ate, and enjoyed various kinds of food, and though he's shown to like most flavors and kinds, one is uniquely, reacurringly, despised by him

Spiciness, even less hot spicy foods, like pepper seems to have a effect on him, as shown in episode 23, and going as far as to refer to it as "scary"

The exact reason for this could simply be just Gammamon's preference, but some have theorized otherwise, and after noticing something I think there may be more to it as well.

What if GulusGammamon ate spicy foods, which effected Gammamon's preference, that might seem random though, I mean, it's not like Gulus has been seen eating anything spicy, or, like, fire or anything, hahaha-

Oh, OH, yeah, he did eat practical fire, and seems to be relatively satisfied with his meal, granted, it is color, technically, but i mean, look at it, it is almost certainly at least hot.

I realize this is a tad late, but I had the realization a bit ago, and decided to made enough sense to write out, it'll be interesting to see if it gets proved, and if it doesn't get disproved it'll probably be my headcanon.

one of the most infuriating things about becoming an adult is when you realize that it actually is 10x easier to solve problems by making a phone call vs literally any other communication method

#I was forced to get over my hatred of making phone calls bc of this #one 15 minute phone call is the equivalent of 5 back and forth emails #also if you don't know exactly what you need help with you can just ask and you can get real help #instead of just desperately clawing at faqs on websites #it's infuriating that it works so well #ramblings

i want to give a bit of info to everyone who only knows miguel from the movie:

•he is not a vampire! his fangs are from his spider dna and are filled with paralyzing venom :) fun fact: the size of his fangs makes him mumble so other people don't see them while he's talking!

•he wasn't bitten by a spider like most spider people! spider dna was atomically spliced directly into his genes making him 50% spider

•he doesn't stick like other spider people! he uses the talons on his fingers to climb around and such! fun fact: these talons can easily slice through solid metal :)

•he doesn't have a spider sense! instead, all of his senses are majorly enhanced!

•yes! he always moves like that! he automatically moves like a feral monster because that's what he is!

•he has a fiancé named dana and a little brother named gabriel! they are the two most important people in his life :) fun fact: gabriel recognized that it was miguel in the spider suit the first time he saw him in it!

•his eyes are red because they can see in major details and in complete darkness. fun fact: this makes his eyes super sensitive to light, which constantly gives him migraines :)

•yes! his ass is that huge in the comics, too! everyone in the comics are always commenting on it ^^

•miguel is irish/mexican :)

•he is NOT the original spider man of his universe! there was a peter parker in the past before the year 2099

According to NBC here in the US, the missing titanic sub has been found. As debris. Off the bow of the Titanic wreckage.

And it looks like the sub suffered what we all suspected, and what was undoubtedly the more merciful of the two options: a catastrophic implosion from the pressure.

Also, more info has come to light about the fishing trawler with the hundreds of migrants that sank cataclysmically off the coast of Greece, indicating that the greek coast guard knew about the vessel AND how much trouble the vessel was in, and were towing it at a speed that made it capsize, at which point they unhooked the tow line and watched the trawler sink without helping the passengers to safety. Despite a bunch of other ships trying to help as well throughout the whole ordeal.

So a lot of people are dead, all because of regulations (and the lack thereof) regarding sea-faring vessels and rescue protocols. People shouldnt be allowed to make a business charging a ton of money for a ride on an uncertified, unsafe, un-seaworthy ship going deep into the ocean with no distress beacon or tether to the mothership. People also shouldnt be allowed to enact laws that criminalize the ferrying of refugees, which then force the refugees to hitch rides on fishing trawlers, and which also prevent people from helping those fishing trawlers full of refugees due to fear of legal consequences.

Hopefully BOTH of these events spark changes on an international scale in terms of what is legally allowed to be sailed, who is legally allowed to be the passengers, and what the rescue protocols are in the event of disaster for any seafaring vessel, illegal or not. It shouldnt be just the global 1% who get 24/7 search parties and remote-operated submersibles helping rescue them.

#the question of 'what do we owe to each other' can be answered simply with 'the dignity of retrieving our remains when we die'#another answer is 'the dignity of thinking about each other fellow humans with similar motivations and feelings'#also 'stopping someones potentially self-destructive behaviors just because theyre rich and want to feel special'#also i feel like humans have been sailing the seas long enough that it should be guaranteed that people will survive sea voyages #im very mad about specifically mediterranean maritime disasters because we have ancient writing saying they made it safe #sailing from Egypt to Greece was so old hat and safe that people legit took the ancient equivalent of cruises back and forth #cleopatra habitually sailed from alexandria to rome with a ton of ships and was fine #Nero tried to have his mother drowned at sea by orchestrating a dramatic shipwreck while she was our sailing AND SHE SURVIVED #and then swam to shore got back to rome and whooped his ass #fuckin pliny the elder tried to evacuate people from pompeii and the surrounding coast villages when vesuvius erupted #and he actually WAS able to rescue people #but he himself had an asthma attack from the fumes which led to a heart attack and he died on the beach #there is legit no excuse for that trawler of migrant refugees to have wrecked #negligence all around #anyway #oceangate
